Speaker 1 (00:01):
Guided meditation for writers. Now find a comfortable position to
begin the meditation. Now sit back or lay down, relax
and make yourself as comfortable as possible. Allow yourself to
(00:21):
enjoy this gift of relaxation. All you need to do
right now is concentrate on the sound of my voice,
put all worries aside, and simply relax. There is nothing
you need to do right now except be in this space,
(00:46):
right here, right now. From time to time, you may
hear noises other than my voice. If this happens, it
will only help you go deeper and deeper into relaxation.
I would like for you now to turn your attention
(01:08):
to your breath. Please breathe in through your nose to
the count of four and pause one two, three four,
(01:29):
and then breathe out slowly through your nose to the
count of eight one two, three, four, five, six seven eight. Wonderful.
(01:54):
Let us do it again. Breathe in to the count
of four through your nose one two, three four, and
out again to the count of eight one two, three, four, five,
(02:18):
six seven eight.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Good.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
One more time, and I would like you to count
from one to four.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Breathe in.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Good and out to the count of eight, silently counting
to yourself.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
As you exhale.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Excellent, you are already feeling calmer and ready to go
into an even deeper state of relaxation. Now continue inhaling
and exhaling while positive, uplifting energy flows through every breath
(03:21):
that you take and replenishes your body. Inhale and feel
your feet, calves, and thighs relax slowly. Exhale again, inhale
deeply and feel your hips, buttocks, belly and lower back
(03:44):
sink in and relax deeply. Then exhale and feel the
release of any tension in your lower body. Feel the
wonderful calm wash over you. Take in a long, deep
breath and feel your chest, back, shoulders, arms, and hands
(04:10):
become deeply relaxed by your sides. Then exhale now as
you breathe in again, feel your neck, jaw, face, eyes,
head and crown become completely relaxed, and feel the tension
(04:34):
releasing from your upper body completely. Breathe out a blissful
sigh of relief. Now, with your mind's eye, envision a
beautiful library. It is empty and reserve just for you
(04:57):
to spend some time researching in writing your next masterpiece.
The soaring ceilings in vast space give your spirit freedom
to roam and explore.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
You walk through.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
The aisles and brows through the categories of books. You
find your favorite genre, and then, to your surprise, you
see a shelf that captures your attention. You notice that
(05:51):
your name is printed on one of the books. You
open the book and discover it is a title that
you published in the future. The date inside of the
book is clearly a year that has yet to be
(06:16):
Then you notice the shelf is full of your publications.
You feel an otherworldly sense of confidence in yourself, and
this inspires you with a strong urge to write. With
(06:40):
a smile and a spring in your step, you explore
the rest of this beautiful, enchanting library. You realize that
you are here because of your ability to write.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
You are a great writer.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Finally, you find the perfect spot to sit and write,
in a grand hall of tables and chairs. You choose
your seat and pull the chain on a table lamp.
The light turns on in a warm and toasty glow
(07:32):
over a blank notebook and pen that are ready for
you to write with. In this perfect space, You begin
writing meanwhile within yourself, as the meditating watcher, Your mind
(08:00):
now plans what it wants to write about. There are
several ideas flowing through you. However, the boldest idea captures
your attention first. Now clear your mind and start to
(08:26):
meditate upon that idea, only giving your full attention to
it without any distractions. Focus your mind completely on this
brilliant idea. Let this idea expand itself and take on
(08:54):
a life.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Of its own.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Spend a few moments experiencing your multifaceted idea. Pay attention
to the thoughts, feelings, voices, and visions it reveals and produces.
(09:32):
Once you have a keen sense of the idea you
wish to capture on paper, it is time to leave
the library. Now bring your awareness back to your current space.
(09:58):
Take a few deep breaths while holding on to your
great idea, because you are ready to get up and
start writing. You know that your perfectly planned idea will
result in your success. Whenever you need to free yourself
(10:25):
of a block. Meditation will unlock your inner flow of
thoughts and ideas at once, and you will be able
to write without hesitation. By entering this meditative state whenever
(10:45):
you need it, you can access your ideas through the
power of creative visualization. Your mind is a creative gold
mind that flows in harmony with the collective consciousness of all.
(11:10):
And now I will count from five to one, and
when I do, you will be wide awake, feeling refreshed
as if you have taken a wonderful nap. Five, starting
(11:30):
to feel all the sensations in your body, your muscles,
your arms and legs starting to move. Four your head
is coming up, breathing deeply as you are feeling your
energy building. Three sitting up straighter and starting to open
(11:54):
your eyes as you come back to the room. Two
hearing all the sounds and getting adjusted. Your energy is
back to normal and one eyes wide open, feeling totally refreshed,
(12:17):
fully awake. Creative thoughts are flowing through your mind. The
urge to write is very intense. Nothing is holding you back.
There are no blocks, and you are enjoying this wonderful feeling. Bravo,
