All executives should be ready if their bad or embarrassing
behavior goes viral on social media and creates a crisis
for their organizations. Welcome back to another Crisis Management Minute.
I'm edred Siegel, author of Crisis Ahead and The Crisis Casebook.

Business and governant leaders should remember that cameras and microphones
are everywhere. That's why they should be ready if images
of their poor behavior or conduct are posted on social
media and reported by news organizations. If that happens, they
should take some time, but not too much time, to
think about what they'll say and do about the situation.

The longer they're quiet, the worse things can get. Executive
should know whether or how their organizations would respond to
this worst case scenario. If they don't know, they should
find out before they have a full blown crisis on
