Let's see how bad we can function up.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Let's see what happens as of what happened last time.
Let's see here what happened.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
List you all?

Speaker 1 (01:03):
You all made it back from the unicorns from the
Unicorn Lake, finding out that her husband was kidnapped by Scabitha.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
What a bitch.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
And you have found out that that Scabitha herself is
kind of taken over the toymaker who is now teamed
up with the kids who, like with the ex captured
the escapee kids from Scabitha's workshop.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
I mean I'd escape to working conditions, no benefits. Sound sucks,
typical work day.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Yeah, but so everybody was getting prepared to to like
raid Scapitho's thing. But now we have.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Like and everybody decided to get a long rest. So
it is in the middle of the night.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Cat, what are you doing.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
I'm sneaking around. I want to talk to the little
baby displacer beast.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
You see like saying you can, that's saying the cat,
the little displacer beast.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
You can kind of hear rumbling outside the.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Kind of like outs like it's just kind of walking
around and you see it like it's kind of scratching
on little oak getting it's up, like you.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Know, little claws, claws sharp. Okay, So I'm gonna cast
speak with animals, okay, and then I'm going to talk
to the displacer beast and say hello and ask what
their name is.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
The kid he just kind of looks over, just looks
at you and then just continues to start this kind of.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Like clawing little oak.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Can I ask to pet it?

Speaker 2 (03:13):
My name? My name is Star Star, Yeah, my name
is Star My It's like I'm a little orphan like
the rest of these people.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
You don't what happened to your mom last time?

Speaker 2 (03:26):
I remember.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Last time, I remember that we were at some sort
of bright place with lots of people and smelling stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
The carnival, I guess that's what it's called.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
I remember there was a fat man and a skinny, skinny,
hyperactive man who was very nice to us.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Okay, yeah, that was the witch Lightful.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Then I ended up getting lost and found myself here.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Oh did Will bring you here?

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Oh? No, Will didn't bring me here. I actually found Will.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Okay. How do you feel about him? To see who
he says he is?

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I wouldn't say he's that's not really he uh. At
one point he's cursed?

Speaker 3 (04:44):
How's he cursed?

Speaker 1 (04:47):
The evil hags Kabatha put a curse on? Well, I
wouldn't say put a curse on, but he's been transformed.
He used to be this big, giant blue creature who
you actually used to keep, who used to kidnap the kids,
the one. I guess that's what you would call it.

(05:10):
I'm not for really for sure what what it is.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Do you like it here?

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Well? I do.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
That's saying it would be nice to be with my.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Brother and mother.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
But I am content here trying to keep the uh
everything in check.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
That's saying I do get pets and love and other things.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
May I pet you No, Okay, I am.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
I'm a beautiful kitty.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
You are a beautiful kitty. So Will is an one?

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Yes? So what are you saying? You have talked to
the kitty? Now what do you plan on doing?

Speaker 3 (06:08):
I don't know if I should confront Will about being
the owning. I don't know how bad that's gonna be.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
He doesn't know he's an only.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Yeah, so at the at the moment.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Like I'm gonna let that be for a minute, Star.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Will, we'll say he's not aware of he is an one.
He's under a curse. The star is not unaware of
what the curse is.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
But can I talk to Will and see what the
curse is?

Speaker 2 (06:40):
He wouldn't know he's under a curse. He doesn't know
he's under curse. He just believed, he legit believes he
is a little kid.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Okay, So do we have like any maps or anything
of New Lurch? You all.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
You can go see.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
That's saying you. You all talk to it saying you
when you guys went to talk.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
To what I called it? Was it crazy?

Speaker 3 (07:13):
More?

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Old man Maurice was the Yeah, Maurice, uh did.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Say he had he could come up with a rough
draft of a map, but it would take a little bit.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Kind of check on ol Man Maurice.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah, you can go see a few mans and you
started heading towards this workshop and you and you do
see that there's still a light on and you go
in and you see him passed.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Out over top of the map and it is a.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
It looks like it is a a decent like it's
like a rough draft of what it would be.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
Can I make out like any rooms or anything?

Speaker 5 (08:02):
Yeah, no, do a perception check perception or investigation.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Investigation perception investigation, I.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Investigation that one plus five or six?

Speaker 2 (08:22):
He is he is legit just like kind of on
top of the map.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
Can I defily like pull the map out from underneath me?

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Pull a slip man God sixteen, that's fine.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Yeah, yeah, that's something you're able to kind of kind
of like scoot like kind of wiggle a little bit
without disturbing him and you and like after pulling it
it is a nice it is.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Like a it is well enough that like a rough
draft and not that you're able to tell what is what? Okay,
And you see it is a.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
It is a long like it looks to be about
like like it's like the room itself is the whole
like the size of.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
The whole tree, okay, is like.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
So the tree is just one giant room.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Well it's like what it's one giant like entity.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
It's like the whole house itself, like the whole length
of the tree is the base.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
But from what you can see tell by the map?

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Okay, am I able to commit this to memory?

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Or you could easily take the map with you? So okay,
if I get caught.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
With this, because I plan on going to a castigate
some reconnaissance.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Okay, where was I?

Speaker 3 (10:02):
I stole the map?

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Yeah, you've stole the map, and so what are you
going to do with this map?

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Can I use my Light Guild pendant to talk to
Bill Barr?

Speaker 1 (10:18):
You can?

Speaker 2 (10:19):
You can trot I use.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
My pennant just like Bill Barr right there.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
It takes a few minutes, but.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
That's the same Like it takes a few minutes and
all that stuff, and then you can cut and Bill
comes out and.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Say it's Bill, What's what's the situation?

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Okay? Bill?

Speaker 5 (10:39):
So I've decided to do some reconnaissance on Loom Larch
myself because okay, there's not I'm not very confident in
everybody else's ability.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
Unfortunately, okay, just too much fighting.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Understand what are you wanting to do?

Speaker 3 (10:58):
We need to find out what her weaknesses. We need to.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
Figure out how we can take her down, but also
save these children. And I wanted to see if you
would come with me.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Well, that's the same we got them want that's the same.
It is a possibility that if it's just the two
of us, we may be able to we may be
able to save the kids.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
In there.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
So where do you want me to meet at? And
I will? Shall you keep the map? Here?

Speaker 3 (11:35):
Meet me?

Speaker 2 (11:38):
I think this is the entrance. Yeah, this is the entrance.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
This is the entrance. Meet me just outside of the
entrance in the trees.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Okay, okay, got it. None of the cover of nights,
roll a roll a stealth check at the debank reach.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
That was seven.

Speaker 6 (12:10):
Nineteen twenty four.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
Yeah, you you were able to sneak. You were able
to sneak there. It takes a little bit and you
make it outside a little more soap with l one.
Let's see here, let me finally. Okay, as you get closer,

(12:46):
the forest is at its darkest tier. Up ahead, a
colossal dead oak lies on its side.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Three living trees grow natural out of its fallen remains.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Their shapes resemble towers with candle in the windows, twinkling
in the gloom, and wooden balconies and circling gnarled branches.
On one side of the fallen tree, firelet spills from
a pair of eloquent storefront windows, illuminating a clear field
with merchant stalls.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
Hm does he bilbar anywhere.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
You?

Speaker 2 (13:25):
As you stick out, you hear like out of nowhere.
You just hear him a bout your character's name again,
He said, Wren, are you there? And you just see
him kind of.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Kind of phase at like out of the darkness.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
I'm here.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
So as you look and saying, so what do you
have in mind?

Speaker 3 (13:54):
Well, this is going to require a great deal of stealth,
but we need to figure out.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
I've got this map from old man Maurice. I'm not
sure if you can make anything of it, but maybe
you have more.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Insight than I do.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
He looks at it and he's able to like go
through and said, well, some of it's.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
It looks like that Scabatha.

Speaker 7 (14:33):
Maybe maybe taking furnther dick into the tree to like
towards the end, of this where.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
She is from what it looks like below. It may
be that's where the kids quarters are.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
And do you want to try to sneak into the
kid's quarters and see if we can get them out
under the guy's a night?

Speaker 2 (15:00):
It is possible, but that's saying roll a, roll a
perception check shock.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
H I does hate me tonight and that one plus.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Four you're you don't see it. But Bill rolled good
enough to let me, let me simply bring him his
uh sup reel real quick.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
The Bill, I'm counting on you because I ain't see ship.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Actually, do you have you you got dark fishion, don't you?
I do have dark.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Thirteen?

Speaker 2 (15:57):
You see scarecrows?

Speaker 3 (16:02):
Are they good scarecrows? Or are they bad?

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Scar? Remember? Any uh?

Speaker 5 (16:08):
Go?

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Dang? Where is Bill's saying? There he is? There's Bill's book.
M that's same rural history Jack Historical Intelligence twelve you've

(16:33):
seen you do recall that.

Speaker 8 (16:36):
Except where you were all jaws from? Huh, I can't
remember that. I know it's something d all something y'all
the one that had.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
No hand oh oh.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Oh the uh no, no, okay, no clapper jaw clapper
chap oh no, Now you you do remember that.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
You can't remember why specifically, but it's something you should
avoid being seen by the scarecrows.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
How many scarecrows are there.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
You see about.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
I'd say about three, like probably about three of them,
but it is relatively tall grass.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
So I'm a sneak. I'm gonna tell Bill bar listen.
We can't be seen by these scarecrows. I don't know why,
but something tells me something bad will happen if they
see this.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
So yeah, go hey, he looks at you as us.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Okay, let's do this, and he immediately disappears into into
he fades into the darkness.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Let's say, what do you.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Want to do? Crawl through?

Speaker 2 (18:06):
Okay, roll a stealth check at advantage.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Until thirteen and ten.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
It's enough. That's saying you.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
That's saying like you are sneaking your way like past,
like through the grass and all that stuff, and you
hear the whispers like every and every time, like then
out of nowhere, lights turn on and it just.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
And it just starts scanning, like the eyes are on. Yeah,
that's something like something like that. It's like it's like
search lights. Yea, what do you do?

Speaker 3 (18:51):
I'm going wherever they're not like rolling around.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
In the grass roll a uh you a.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Doing well, acrobatics, doing athletics.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
It's twelve.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Yeah, that's saying you barely miss it.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
But you're where you're into the cover of night, you're
able to You're able to kind of keep out of
it and like sneak around to the point they are
not seeing you and you are make it past them
and start sneaking up at the stairs.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
In the little larch.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Sneaking up the stairs, say some kids.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Yeah, as you get past, you see a gnarl bridge
formed by tangled roots tree roots, span rocky and dried
up the river bread river bread.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
I'm sorry, I'm talking.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
Yeah, yeah, And you're all able to make it to
the entrance. Let's you see a.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
And you see a you see a door like at
the top as you're going up the stairs.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
And it is shut.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
Can I put my ear up to the door and listen?

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Yeah, real intelligence, I mean a investigation investigation eighteen Yeah, yeah,
you you put your ear up against the wall, up
against the door.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
You don't hear anything.

Speaker 5 (20:51):
So I'm going to quietly try to quietly. Oh is
there any other else, like any other way to go
or is it just a door?

Speaker 2 (21:00):
You see the door.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
I'm gonna try to quietly open the door, just barely
crack it open so I could look in.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Yeah, door opens it open slowly, and inside you see
a see.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Yeah, you see a chamber. And this chamber is nestled
between walls and twisted roots, through gaps in which you
can see the eerie, beautiful woodlands surrounding you. A closed
wooden door stands on the opposite side of the bridge. Well, okay,
you see a car, then you see a door on
the opposite side. From what it's telling me, a closed

(21:36):
wooden door stands on the opposit side of the root
bridge that leads to this room, in the center of
which are four armchairs and circled by a small table
laid out for a tea service. A wooden a painted
wooden box three feet on the side rest in the corner.
A crank.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Protrudes from one side of it, causing it to room
resemble oversized Jack in the Box.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
I hate it because part of me is just like,
I don't want to steal the box. I don't want
to open the box. I want to steal it. But
so there's like a parlor and then there's a.

Speaker 9 (22:16):
Door, right, yeah, can I investigate the box?

Speaker 10 (22:25):
You can do an investigation, okay.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Eighteen Again, something seems off about the whole area itself,
including the box.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Something does not sit right. A few specifically, like the
furniture and the box do not seem right.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
Where's the bar?

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Bill is right behind you and he I.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
Look at Bill, and I'm just like this scene weird?
Do you.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Good? Jump Bill? He takes a big whiff mimix great.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
Slowly dance around and try to get to the door.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 11 (23:32):
Do a uh roll a uh roll a stealth a
advantage twenty two twenty two.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
You and Bill are able to slowly sneak around that
same as you get That's like, as you're moving around
the room and all that stuff, it you can kind
of see like the that's saying, it's still relatively dark
in this area. It's just like it's it's evening time.

Speaker 3 (24:14):
It's still the jacks in the bottom.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
It's it is indeed the beginning time.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
Like it's you're in the middle of the night and
you are, like it's saying, and if nothing is as
active as it is, but it's dark enough where you're
able to land in and you're able to sneak around
and get to the other side of and to where
the door is.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
Again, I want to like put my ear up to
the door and listen, see if there's any kind of movement.
So the investigation good. Not twenty bitch plus five twenty five.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
You hear.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
What seems to be something like a few You hear
tapping like something like working on wood in the other room.

Speaker 3 (25:05):
Can I slowly open the door to peep?

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Yeah? Okay, that's say you. You you opened the door
slowly and did I'm not saying The room itself is
seems to be filled with lanterns and row a uh
row a uh per second check.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
Twenty two.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
You see uh you see three children gathered around a
wooden work uh work table. The eldest, a drawn boy,
prances on the table top of the bar, soap in
one hand, while a half one girl and a human
girl giggle at his audacity.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
The audacity. It's kind of like a billbo.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
No, no, here we go.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Flickering lanterns illuminate a cluttered workshop filled with soft ambient
music produced by bells and chimes. Part of the toys
are heaped on the tables, leering dolls, heads, half built
rocking horses, unpainted wooden balls, and stuffed limbs of soft toys,
a stove of black A stove at the back of

(26:23):
the room holds a saucepan of melting metal. Three doors
exit the workshop, and two store front windows overlook the
market outside. You see and then you see the three
kids are gathered around a wooden work table. The eldest
is a drowboy, prancings on the table with a bar

(26:44):
of soap in one hand, while the half one girl
and the human girl giggle at her.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
Allbit his audacity.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
It's just like a bill barn light should be approached.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
Let me see you, damn it, where's the kids?

Speaker 3 (27:03):
Did chill?

Speaker 5 (27:04):
What?

Speaker 1 (27:14):
Bill look looks out over and says.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
He starts sniffing around, and he says, it smells safe
in here. But let's try. Let's see what we can
find out from these kids, okay. And and you all
slowly start entering the room, and the kids look at you,
all a little confused, both inquisited.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
I just kind of looking at him.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
I'm like the draft, especially the draw boy, because he's
not really seen another draft before.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
Because I am draft and he's kind of walking on like, hello,
what are y'all doing?

Speaker 2 (27:57):
Well? The old the oldest, the the oldest guy looks
at you and goes, how how did you get in?

Speaker 3 (28:09):
Very carefully?

Speaker 2 (28:12):
I think why that's saying. And they looked a little confused,
like why are you here so we can get you now?

Speaker 1 (28:23):
They look a little confused and just like what because
they've they like they've been here for a while and
they are definitely perplexed of like why anyone to do it?
And they kind of look and you see them a
little start teary eyed, and it's just like, how can

(28:44):
you really get us out?

Speaker 3 (28:46):
We'll make sure I'm gonna try.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
And and Bill uh Bill walks up to them like
and he is a big hulking figure and he kneels
down in front of them at eye level.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
And Locan says, that's saying, we are here to rescue
all the kids and get the heck and defeat this hack.
Is there any information you all are willing to give
us to help rescue the others?

Speaker 1 (29:16):
The the little girl looks kind of looks up said, well,
the others are.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
That's saying the others are locked up in other rooms.
I know there's one chained up somewhere around here, but
I'm not for sure where Mishka is room.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
It's that's even if they're awake at the moment, that's
saying we were.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
We were forced to stay awake and continue Granny's Granny's
work and to continue to keep to keep going.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
It's like that they pull and Bill pulls out out
a I think of it looks to be little snackcakes
and hands them each one.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
That says, we are going to get you out of here.
Do you like, do you all have anything that could
help us?

Speaker 3 (30:15):
Do you know of Granny's weakness?

Speaker 2 (30:18):
No one knows Granny's weakness.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
But the little drow boy pulls out a key and says,
I have a key to the kitchen door that may.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Be able to help you. We've been using it to
try to survive and get food.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
But but that's that's all I can really provide. And
then you see the little girl, like the smallest, the
little little halfling that says, I cannot leave, not without
Pinkynkey's my Winky's my pig?

Speaker 3 (30:49):
Where's Winky?

Speaker 2 (30:52):
He's kept down in the pig pin?

Speaker 3 (30:55):
What Doesky look like? I know he's a pig. But
is there any special marketing?

Speaker 2 (30:59):
He's not winky, he's some pig. Okay, if you.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
Are there any special toys here?

Speaker 5 (31:12):
Now?

Speaker 2 (31:13):
These are like we're being forced to build more for
toy soldiers to to because she's been using them to
fight someone.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
We're not entire for sure, but she's at war with somebody.
It's I know.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
Also, she's been having us trying to like, she's trying
to make everybody miserable so she can get more boggle oil.
And the only way she's been doing that is you
gotta milk them.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
How do you milk a Google?

Speaker 1 (31:56):
We've seen her you, I guess you milk it like
a cow. You string it like a rag or something.
But it only comes from our misery.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
Where can you find these boogles?

Speaker 2 (32:10):
Do you find a like? If one of them are
truly miserable, you'll probably find a Google in a shadow
in its shadow?

Speaker 3 (32:20):
Yeah, are you all truly miserable?

Speaker 2 (32:24):
You look? You look over there away a role Perception track.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
Thirty twenty.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
You look at their shadows and something seems off about it.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
The bark their Shadowsok.

Speaker 5 (32:46):
Weird?

Speaker 3 (32:47):
You see a Google, grab it and wring it?

Speaker 1 (32:52):
He like Bill meedly like where he is a shadow bear,
he immediately like picks up like he's able to like somehow,
he just fades in behind him and grabs all three
of the shadows and you see.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
What seems to be these.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
The best way to describe and like kind of like
miss like shadow creatures of like think of Princess and
the frog likes it's like his shadow and just like
like like a the form like more corrupted version of man.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
Yeah, like yeah, so you man.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
Yeah, he immediate like he pulls them up, immediately whips
out a bottle, puts it like puts it down the
ground and starts squeezing them out. And as like he sques,
you slowly kind of see like ink it like an
ink like.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
Steps its drip into the bottle.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Sorry, And as he continued and as he does it,
he he pulls out a knife and the knife slowly
starts to like kind of keep like it kind of
glows silver a little bit, and he cuts it like

(34:20):
and he cuts the shadows and.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
They disappear like and they start to fade like they
like legit like dissipate kind of they disappear like Infinity
War style in game style that was a yeah, they like,
mister Stark, I'm not feeling good. Oh no, they and

(34:48):
the kids like.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
And the kids begin to like, look like they begin
to glow a little bit, that their happiness is returning.
And that's saying as as you all. That's saying right now.
The kids are like, so, how do we get.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
Out of here?

Speaker 3 (35:12):
It can take you. I look at Bill, Barnake, do
you want to take them out the way we came?

Speaker 2 (35:23):
Bill goes over and looks and look like, goes over
to it, Mike and sees the window and goes over
and look, let's see what come on, Bill, give me
some goods? Why did the dice always give me something
good when I'm a DM but not when I play
my fucking characters?

Speaker 3 (35:41):
Because Flyman was cursed just for that horn.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Yeah, it's just the Flyman dice. Now, So Bill, Bill
looks over and he does see is quiet like out
like out on that's the thing. He looks over, grabs grabs.

Speaker 1 (36:03):
The window and pulls it open, and you hear a
snap the and sit looking around nothing here. You don't
hear anything at the moment he opens the window, looks down.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
And and he sees like the little merchants and all
that stuff there. It is dark down there, he maybe,
and he looks back. If we can get you out
of here, would you be able to make it on
your own to where we need you to go?

Speaker 1 (36:39):
The kids look over and they they look over and
starts they start like nodding their heads like and they
are looking scared. These are kids who have, like you know,
been enslave for as long as they can remember.

Speaker 3 (36:54):
It's okay, it'll be fine.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
And they and as they look over the kids, as
Bell's looking down and all as up and.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
He's damn righty does god damn it? Bill, you look
you're a good you're a good bear. And he sees
a pig ban he says he may be able to
get you and the pig out. Now they're kind of
excides like how and said he pulls out a rope.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
He said, we may be able to get like, if
we can get you out out, if you're through the window,
would you get ready to help the cat like help wink.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
Key and go. And he gives them directions of how
to find little how to find.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Little uh a little wind like little oak and he says, yes,
we can do that. We should like we should be
able to. And he pulls out and he pulls out
a ah like a like the same medallion that you
all communicate with, he said, and he whispers into it

(38:07):
and he gives it to one of them and says like,
he says, follow this arrow, and he shows them as
the like, and he like slowly starts moving his hand
and you like the with the triangle that points towards
the north and like at the top and it starts

(38:28):
to slowly pulse and like kind.

Speaker 2 (38:31):
Of starts pulsing.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
He said, follow this arrow, and no matter what, continue
to follow it and it will take you to safety.
And he goes over ties them. Let's saying roll a uh,
that's saying roll a perception check.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
As he's at tying these kids, say get them out
the window. While Bill's doing this, you hear what sounds
of little ten feet?

Speaker 3 (39:08):
What do I know what direction they're coming from?

Speaker 2 (39:12):
It seems to be heading from the door that the
door that you all have, like the middle door.

Speaker 3 (39:19):
Okay, so do I know how many or is it just.

Speaker 2 (39:30):
You roll a full perception again? Yeah, well there there
was a well let's see actually roll a rolls her bobbin.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
Check thirty twenty.

Speaker 1 (39:53):
With your ranger ears, you are able to you have
like if you range your ears, you are able to hear.
It seems to be for for four sets of feet,
four sets of feet coming towards you.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
I look at Bill and I'm like, Joe, we've got problems.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
That's an And he looks over to you. He looks like,
I'm almost.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
I'm halfway there, or you can you you.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
Need to figure this out. And he gives you a
look as he's trying to hurry and make sure the
kids get down safe.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
Okay, so are they coming towards the door?

Speaker 2 (40:40):
They are heading towards the door where we are. Yeah,
so what do you? What are you gonna do?

Speaker 9 (40:47):
Can I look around the door and see them like creepy,
like creep it, because I kind of want to like
just sneak around with my longbow and.

Speaker 2 (41:00):
Just roll, rolling, roll. Another investigation.

Speaker 3 (41:14):
Think two to two.

Speaker 1 (41:22):
You look and saying, as you you peek through the door, and.

Speaker 2 (41:26):
You do see little tin soldiers coming, uh, coming towards
the door.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
That's saying it doesn't it looks like they are not
just it seems like there are just patrolling. So it
does seem like that if you play right.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
You may be able to either confuse them or you
may be able to kind.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
Of get them on another trail.

Speaker 3 (42:05):
Is there another door in can? Mm? Do they work
with the mimics?

Speaker 1 (42:15):
The mimics are indeed aren't minions of scapathal you would
think they are in her?

Speaker 2 (42:24):
They are indeed in her. Uh I get might in
her in her tree. So that's saying. But you all
were able to sneak past them undetected.

Speaker 12 (42:35):
Can I don't have anything I can throw the.

Speaker 3 (42:42):
Inventory trying to put ten soldier or something I'm not
gonna throw. Can I take a piece of my goal

(43:13):
and kind of throw it through the door, like to
get it to clatter off the side that way they'll
go that way? Uh?

Speaker 12 (43:24):
You a.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
M let's see here do a Neflex.

Speaker 3 (43:38):
Sixteen?

Speaker 2 (43:39):
Yeah? Yeah you uh yeah, you toss it. That's why
you are able to make it to wear. You're on
a like you're able to do it undetectively. Uh and
like kind of toss it down the uh, down the
mic down the hall and you can can you hear
a little bit of a or clanking? Think your doing?

Speaker 1 (44:03):
Think you you for your willy for that little jingle,
yes and they and they immediately stop, turn around.

Speaker 2 (44:11):
And start walking back, okay, towards the other way. So
you are given a few more minutes.

Speaker 3 (44:17):
Okay, I'll look at Bill bar'm late and give him
a thumbs up.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
A few more minutes.

Speaker 5 (44:22):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (44:22):
So while he's doing it, you have.

Speaker 13 (44:24):
Time to.

Speaker 2 (44:26):
Explore.

Speaker 3 (44:28):
Okay, So I wanna look around the room and see
if there's anything useful I can buy.

Speaker 2 (44:35):
That's so you roll a uh. Okay, roll another investigation.

Speaker 3 (44:46):
Nineteen.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
You are able to find a uh. You're able to
find a few things you uh.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
While you're looking around, You're able to find a uh
jar of iridescent eyeglasses, glass eyes. You find a silver hammer,
hammer and chisel, and green leather in a green leather
tool belt. You find a pair of iron metal working
tongs that look like the jaws of a snapping dragon.

(45:20):
And as you were looking around, you were able to
see creepy toys that are displayed in the workshop windows.
You see a set of nesting dolls in which each
doll looks more frightened at the than the next larger one.

Speaker 2 (45:35):
You see a stuff lined with needles for teeth and
real bloodstains around.

Speaker 3 (45:39):
Its jaws, that's fucked up.

Speaker 2 (45:42):
You see a toy windmill with a crank on one
side that turns the veins and the millstone. You see
a set of playing cards depicting weeping children. You see
a wind up drunkard doll that totters a few places
and then falls over. You find a a four fingered
puppet depicting an arguing family. A one foot tall wooden guillotine,

(46:07):
the tiny wooden box containing eight sticks of black chunk.

Speaker 3 (46:12):
Hmm. Kind of like.

Speaker 5 (46:18):
Point at it and then like like try to get
Govar to look over to like.

Speaker 2 (46:27):
At the toys. He look He kind of he looks
over and starts shaking his head. Said, these are terrible toys.

Speaker 3 (46:35):
They're statistic as hell.

Speaker 2 (46:38):
Oh that's saying, we're dealing with hags, so it's hard
to who knows what else we're gonna find in here.

Speaker 3 (46:44):
Oh lord, so.

Speaker 2 (46:50):
That's what's saying.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
He After a few more minutes, he he gets.

Speaker 2 (46:54):
You all out and said, let's let's.

Speaker 3 (46:57):
Keep going in So the kids are down and out.

Speaker 2 (47:01):
Yeah, okay, so that's saying.

Speaker 3 (47:07):
Then there's a next door, right.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
You see it? You as you move forward, you see
a door straight and you see a door to your.

Speaker 3 (47:17):
Left, and pull out the map.

Speaker 1 (47:21):
Look at the map firm As you look on the map,
it looks like to be the door to you to
your left seems to lead to to at like at
one point.

Speaker 2 (47:34):
Seems like just outside. But you look, it's saying you.

Speaker 1 (47:40):
You go over and look out the window when you
were investigating, and you see it was a garden.

Speaker 2 (47:45):
A garden's outside, okay.

Speaker 1 (47:48):
And if you continue out like forward, it leads to
what seems to be another room okay, with a with a.

Speaker 2 (48:00):
M that's here with a staircase.

Speaker 3 (48:12):
Mm, what does it go up or down?

Speaker 2 (48:16):
It looks like to be it it would go if
you're non time for sure it is. You can tell
there's a pert stairs. Ever you're not sure if it's
gonna go up or down?

Speaker 3 (48:25):
Okay, you gonna try that or I'm wanna listen first again. Fifteen.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
Yeah, that's so I have to be Oh go, You
put your hair up, and you do hear a little clinking.

Speaker 3 (49:02):
Like working clinking, or the little pitter patter of ten.

Speaker 2 (49:09):
Feet more j like I wouldn't say it's Peter Petter
of moving feet, but you hear like flinking. You're not tied. Sure,
if it's work.

Speaker 3 (49:18):
It, I'm going to that wasn't at twenty I'm going
to creep the door open and again.

Speaker 2 (49:27):
As it goes you do see that, like this was
one of when I was saying earlier you saw that.
It's like this was the room that like kind of
over the room with the uh the tents were walking through, mkay.
But but they as they walked away, you now do
see that seems to be this maybe the barracks of

(49:51):
the tin soldiers.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
Oh shit, does a stairwell go up or down?

Speaker 2 (50:02):
It looks to be going up.

Speaker 3 (50:06):
Like a bill bar. I'm like, where do we need
to go to find these fucking kids? They definitely don't
wanna go smack in the middle of these soldiers.

Speaker 2 (50:19):
Bill uh.

Speaker 1 (50:20):
Bill looks over so this he kind of he snakes
his head through the through the ground like through the
thing and looks.

Speaker 2 (50:28):
Say, it is quite dark in here. Hold on immediate
Like he just fades into into the dark.

Speaker 3 (50:35):
I love bill Bar and.

Speaker 1 (50:37):
Just starts moving and it's just like starts to enter
and perio and periodically like you will see kind of
a light like go through it like it's the kind
of like hit him and you'll see him for a
split second, but like it seems like whenever the light
touches him, you can see him. But he just kind
of kind of in and out the shadows, and as

(51:00):
he kind of look looks around, says, I think.

Speaker 3 (51:03):
We may be okay, okay, you walk you.

Speaker 1 (51:08):
Walk in, and you see and ten ten brightly painted
structures resembling little wooden horses lying the walls of this room.
Each small horse has three at a three foot high
hinged door.

Speaker 2 (51:24):
Four the doors are opened, and the other six are closed.
A narrow staircase as sends thee a cellular circular wall.
Near the foot of the stairs is a painted wooden
box three feet wide. On the side a crank protruding
from one side of it, causing it to resemble an
oversized jacket box.

Speaker 3 (51:45):
Another fucking mimic. I hate mimics. I'm like fire and
you mimic. Yeah, so, so I'm going to sneak through
this place?

Speaker 2 (52:04):
Is a snake?

Speaker 3 (52:06):
Is sneaky snake? Never mind? I'm not a sneaky snake? Wait,
I get advantage every mind.

Speaker 2 (52:15):
Yeah, it's dark out.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
Thirteen.

Speaker 1 (52:26):
You're sneaking, but it's like almost every other step you
take is kind.

Speaker 2 (52:32):
Of like creaking like I it's like the place is
set settling. Okay, so it's like you're able to get through.
Let mean, let me see her, but yeah you do
s uh. As you like walk in, you look around

(52:55):
and you do see.

Speaker 3 (53:01):
Or do you have sam from there? That's not where
cats go?

Speaker 2 (53:07):
But I want to be here mother.

Speaker 5 (53:10):
Yeah, for anybody listening, my cat Willie is on my
TV SAand thinking he's the man of the house, but
he is.

Speaker 2 (53:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (53:28):
So it's like, so as you're in here walking around,
you do see that it looks like right now from
what you can uh really uh rolle an.

Speaker 2 (53:44):
Intelligence check.

Speaker 3 (53:47):
Intelligence?

Speaker 2 (53:48):
Yeah, investigation, uh, investigation or intelligence.

Speaker 3 (53:57):
Eighteen.

Speaker 1 (53:59):
You're I deduce that at the moment there are four
ten soldiers walking around while the rest of them are
in this room in those little houses.

Speaker 3 (54:13):
Okay, so there's a patrol lab of four Yeah, okay,
so I'm still just gonna be sneaking. Where's another door?

Speaker 2 (54:24):
So you see this, so you can see that there
are two that's there.

Speaker 1 (54:34):
You see that there are two doors in this room,
see one continuing to move forward and one to your left,
while also there is the staircase.

Speaker 3 (54:49):
Can I pull out the map.

Speaker 2 (54:52):
You pull out the map, you see that.

Speaker 1 (54:56):
The as when you pull out the map, you do
see that the uh the door that goes straight looks
to be a head deeper into little lurch Kay, while
the door.

Speaker 2 (55:09):
To the side those uh.

Speaker 1 (55:13):
Seems to like head towards what looks like to be
a just another another room that's like off by the
uh the outside.

Speaker 3 (55:29):
Uh. I ask Bill, I'm like, do you wanna go further?
I don't want to check out this other.

Speaker 2 (55:38):
M he he He looks around and said, takes a whiff.

(56:02):
At the moment, it smells like there may be something upstairs,
something living.

Speaker 3 (56:09):
H Do you want to go upstairs? Bill?

Speaker 2 (56:13):
We can try.

Speaker 3 (56:14):
All right, let's try to go up these steps.

Speaker 2 (56:18):
So you as you get closer to the stairs, and
you start to see her start heading up the stairs.

(56:39):
As you get closer to the upstairs, as you sneak
roll roll another step checktae eighteen and roll a perception check.

Speaker 3 (57:02):
Sixteen.

Speaker 1 (57:03):
As you get closer to the top of the stairs,
you see two three foot tall ten soldiers just standing
at the top of the stairs. But they are not
facing down the stairs. They are facing away.

Speaker 3 (57:22):
I can't ask how any points that they have. What's
in front of them? Is it a door?

Speaker 2 (57:31):
There's no door?

Speaker 3 (57:34):
You like? A Bill on the nth we want to
take them out.

Speaker 2 (57:43):
Bill looks over and says, we may be able to
it wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (57:48):
As long as we can sneaker up on them quietly,
we may be able to assassinate them. Okay, So so
you will. So whatever you want to do, you will.
Your hits will have advantage on your hits where you're

(58:11):
sneaking and it's.

Speaker 2 (58:13):
Dark, and where you are killing and assassinating.

Speaker 1 (58:17):
I will allow to act like I will allow double
the damage.

Speaker 2 (58:41):
So proceed as you wish.

Speaker 12 (58:44):
So I'm going to sneak up and I am going
to use water bullets on one of them.

Speaker 3 (58:55):
Okay. So with water bullet, you create a sphere swirling
water that spits rapidly in your hand or mouth before
you hurl it at a creature within range.

Speaker 2 (59:05):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (59:07):
On a hit, the target takes bludgeting damage based on
how far it is away from me. So one at
ten feet's gonna be fivety six of damage.

Speaker 2 (59:14):
Okay, So roll for hit at a band.

Speaker 3 (59:22):
That's suck.

Speaker 14 (59:26):
Fifteen to hit your hits, so I do double damage. Yeah,
so that is eighteen plus seventeen.

Speaker 1 (59:40):
Yeah, so you you immediately take one ounce and it's
thirty five damage.

Speaker 2 (59:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (59:49):
So yeah, Bill that's saying, does it? And Bill I
meaiately runs up, grabs.

Speaker 2 (59:57):
Its hat and snaps it guye and rips its head off.

Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
I love water bullets.

Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
And you as you get up there, you see this dormitory,
nestled in the trees bows, has a round.

Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
Window overlooking a wooden balcony.

Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
Uh leaning the walls are ten child saice bunks outfitted
with patchwork quilts and straw stuffed pillows. A young male
dwarflies in one of the bunks, coughing and drenched in sweat,
while an older lad mops his brow with the water.

Speaker 2 (01:00:35):
Up from the bucket. Two doors exit the room. One
leads to the balcony, the other deeper into the tree.

Speaker 3 (01:00:43):
So are the kids?

Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
There are two kids?

Speaker 3 (01:00:46):
Okay, So do I see like them being watched by
anything else? Like an investigation? Eighteen nineteen, twenty one, twenty three, three,
twenty three.

Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
Yeah, yeah, you just see the two kids? You?

Speaker 5 (01:01:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:01:11):
So the uh did they just see us just execute
these dudes?

Speaker 3 (01:01:15):
And soldier.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
They both Yeah, you were able to do it like
for the whin stuff land. They didn't notice.

Speaker 3 (01:01:25):
Okay, so I want to still kind of like slowly
enter this room. I don't want to spook the ship
out of them.

Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
So how do you how you gonna how are you
gonna get their attention?

Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
So okay?

Speaker 2 (01:01:46):
Uh, the one who with the mob looks over and says,
who are you all? What are you doing here?

Speaker 3 (01:01:52):
Shore to get you out? What's wrong with your friend's.

Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
He's he ate something and he's and he uh like
and he's sick from it.

Speaker 2 (01:02:06):
I don't know what he ate, but he's gravely ill
from it.

Speaker 3 (01:02:09):
So I will go over and kinnect your wounds or
would that work?

Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
Uh? You all you walk up to it, to him,
to the to the dwarf child.

Speaker 11 (01:02:24):
And you can row a roll nature check nature, well.

Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
Row massive check.

Speaker 3 (01:02:37):
That's a six that sucked.

Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
You are unable to figure out what's going on? And
he kind of looks at you. Are you are you
all here to rescue us? Yes?

Speaker 3 (01:02:52):
Where are the others?

Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
Yeah? I'd say, I don't know where the rest are.
They're out working at random positions where Granny throws them at.
But I ate, let's say I'm you Maybe you're better
off just leaving me because I I hate something and

(01:03:16):
it's it's it's killing me. It was some sort of
sort of plants.

Speaker 3 (01:03:23):
Do you know what the plant looked like?

Speaker 2 (01:03:24):
He describes the plant to you and roll a nature check.

Speaker 3 (01:03:31):
Nature an eleven.

Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
Yeah, roll an advantage. You're you're a ranger? Makes sense? Worse?

Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
Yeah, that was on that one.

Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
My kids a one. You're by yourself, I am.

Speaker 3 (01:03:57):
I don't got the hype of the group.

Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
You are, like it's saying you are.

Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
You know what it is, but for the life of you,
you cannot remember what the name.

Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
Of it is.

Speaker 3 (01:04:11):
Look at Bill's like, Bill, you have any idea?

Speaker 2 (01:04:18):
Bill like sits there.

Speaker 1 (01:04:20):
It's like at the moment, I can't think of it.

Speaker 2 (01:04:24):
It's just the Then he like he's like he starts
really thinking him like through everything, anti thing. Goddam Bill,
you're awesome nightshade.

Speaker 3 (01:04:38):
Cuy okay, h cure. How many hip hoins does this
kid have? Or do you know?

Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
Let me see shirt? That true.

Speaker 3 (01:04:52):
Plotting? Damn it. I used to be like fucking kids.

Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
Something that's saying you knowing this that that, any thing that.

Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
That's saying right now, he is poisoned. So anything that
you can that you have that would be able to
cure poison? Would would happen?

Speaker 3 (01:05:20):
Does cure wus cure poison? Let's let's see you because
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:05:27):
Mhmuse I don't have like any antidotes or anything.

Speaker 3 (01:05:39):
I wonder if Bill does, let me see her.

Speaker 2 (01:05:55):
Kay mm hm. That's how you may be able to
heal him, but he could still be poisoned. What does the.

Speaker 3 (01:06:13):
Poison condition consist of? Like, he's gonna continue to lose
hit points. But if I cure, if I cure wounds,
would he be well enough to make a run through it?

Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
Let me see what Bill has.

Speaker 3 (01:06:38):
We ain't leaving nobody behind, no kids left behind? Lets gold,
Thanks George Bush.

Speaker 2 (01:06:48):
Sorry, that's how I passed elementary. But uh the.

Speaker 3 (01:07:01):
Yes, yeah, I was actually a smart kid. Don't know
what happened? Pressure movie.

Speaker 1 (01:07:10):
You are saying, if you roll in investige, well you
know what, roll an inside check.

Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
Fifteen with the with the way that.

Speaker 1 (01:07:27):
You know how poison is, you you can think that
if you do heal him, that if he would be
able to get if he would be able to get
treatment within five hours, he will be okay before he
goes into.

Speaker 2 (01:07:45):
A coma.

Speaker 3 (01:07:48):
Like a Bill is like, can do you think we
can get them out? Like where are we looking at here?

Speaker 10 (01:07:54):
Bill looks, looks over, says, good possibility, if we can,
If we can, at least he'll him enough.

Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
He should be able to get out of here and
like get out of here to the rest of him.

Speaker 3 (01:08:08):
And so I'm gonna use cure wounds for how much
he healed for eleven?

Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
Yeah, yeah, so he has a he's enough to where
he's able to like actually kind of get up and
it's just a mild at the moment. It's a mild
like irritation to where like you know, his.

Speaker 1 (01:08:33):
Stomach is squeezing and all the stuff, but he's able
to move out. He's still in a bit of a sweat,
but he should be okay for now, okay.

Speaker 5 (01:08:40):
Yeah, Like when I heal him, it's like this warm
purple light just coming out of my hands as I
placed my hands on him. Yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:08:49):
Yeah, and that's here, do a uh real.

Speaker 2 (01:09:04):
History check.

Speaker 3 (01:09:06):
Still that's a seven.

Speaker 2 (01:09:18):
Seven Yeah, yeah, doesn't work.

Speaker 1 (01:09:23):
Yeah, so uh so as you uh so, you tell
the kids stuff, it's like you.

Speaker 2 (01:09:31):
Have a chance so far, like the rooms and you
tell them exactly how to escape.

Speaker 3 (01:09:36):
Yea, and they are.

Speaker 2 (01:09:40):
And they're able to like they're able to get out there.

Speaker 3 (01:09:43):
Okay, I look a pill. I'm like, okay, we'll go
further down these berks.

Speaker 2 (01:09:51):
You see a let.

Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
Me see it.

Speaker 2 (01:09:53):
I'm gonna find them back again. M yeah, so you okay,

(01:10:14):
So when you get to so you can either you
got two ways out. You can either take this. Uh
it looks to be like if you uh take the
door in front of you, it will.

Speaker 1 (01:10:25):
Lead to back outside, but if you go back the
other way, it will take you back downstairs.

Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
I like I feel and I'm just kind of like,
we've got five kids out so far? Do we want
to get the rest or do enchance this and get caught?

Speaker 1 (01:10:50):
Roll a uh rural history check another another one?

Speaker 3 (01:10:59):
Play two.

Speaker 1 (01:11:00):
You remember that they're like after the conversation with with
the others like that you had when you were at
Little Oak, you remember that there is one eleven kids
that are still.

Speaker 3 (01:11:17):
Here, there's still eleven there.

Speaker 2 (01:11:20):
There no that there are eleven? You have rescued five five?

Speaker 3 (01:11:28):
Do we get the remaining six?

Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
Bill looks at you said, this is this is up
to you. I'm here for support.

Speaker 1 (01:11:37):
That's so far we've it does seem it's been a
little too easy at the moment.

Speaker 3 (01:11:43):
But I don't want a chance this. I think that
we have gathered some information, and we have we should
go back that way we can talk to these kids
and get more knowledge of this place. So we need

(01:12:03):
to try to get the fuck out of here, because,
like you said, this has been a little too easy,
and I don't like that. I don't have a good feeling.

Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
Okay, So as you all that's saying, So you all
slowly start backing your.

Speaker 1 (01:12:30):
Way through, and you as you all continue to get out,
you you all go back through the the like you're
you slowly start going your way back through, and you
see that.

Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
You may not be able to do much inside. But
Bill says, if we if we we may not be
able to further inside, but if we get more information
on the outside in the terrain, we may be a
little east may benefit us in the long run.

Speaker 1 (01:13:09):
So you all continue to so it's like, do we
want to try to head outside and.

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
See what we can find? Yeah, okay, so you know
that there are three ways too, at least two ways
to get out.

Speaker 1 (01:13:24):
You know, there's the way that you saw through, like
the workshop, and you knew and you and as you
look on the map, you see that at the moment
where you are are at there are currently three ways
to get out. You can either go through the you

(01:13:45):
could go through the barracks to that to that last
room that leads outside. There is one that through the.

Speaker 2 (01:13:53):
Workshop, and there's one through the through the kids room
that you were just in.

Speaker 3 (01:13:58):
It's trying to kid through.

Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
Y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:14:01):
Decide to go back up through the thing that you
go through down like down the steps in two dot files.

Speaker 3 (01:14:12):
Here can I do a perception check that would be
spententeen twenty one to see to make sure like yeah,
to see what's around, to make sure there's nothing kind
of also sneaking in the shadows.

Speaker 2 (01:14:36):
As you get through, you don't see any scarecrows or
the names here.

Speaker 3 (01:14:46):
You know, he's a pretty big.

Speaker 2 (01:15:05):
Yeah, that thing you're able to get through.

Speaker 1 (01:15:09):
Okay, you don't see any Yes, that's the thing.

Speaker 2 (01:15:15):
You don't really see anything out there. You don't see
any scarecrows or.

Speaker 3 (01:15:24):
See her.

Speaker 2 (01:15:27):
Yeah. Well that's saying at the moment at the top
of this, you know what roll another what was your perception?

Speaker 14 (01:15:35):
What was it?

Speaker 1 (01:15:35):
Twenty two you see five, you see like when you
get outside, you see eight garden you see you see
like what lucid animal?

Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
Some more animal? Pins you seem that, you see a.

Speaker 1 (01:15:55):
You see a compost heap, You see some looks to
be like a little thing of mushrooms and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (01:16:08):
You see a pumpkin patch and you see some scarecrows
surrounding the pumpkin patch.

Speaker 3 (01:16:18):
Definitely don't want to go through that pumpkin patch. I've
seen Sleepy Tallow too many times.

Speaker 2 (01:16:30):
So what are you gonna do?

Speaker 5 (01:16:35):
Like a Bill Barr from, like, where do you think
our best places to go? But we want to avoid
the scarecrows for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:16:41):
Yeah, So as you all walking down, it looks as
you're looking in, you're gonna have to go through.

Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
The pumpkin patch to get out of here.

Speaker 3 (01:16:51):
How many scarecrows are there?

Speaker 2 (01:16:52):
There's five?

Speaker 3 (01:16:55):
So how big are these pumpkins?

Speaker 1 (01:16:57):
These are pretty good sized pumps, like they are very
like are.

Speaker 3 (01:17:02):
They human size? Humanoid size?

Speaker 1 (01:17:05):
They look like you could easily hide behind them and
try to sneak through.

Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
I don't sneak through this pumpkin patch, as Bill that's saying,
as your.

Speaker 3 (01:17:19):
Before we sneak through.

Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
I'm gonna hi Bill the map.

Speaker 3 (01:17:23):
I'm telling him to keep it safe, just to be safe,
because I know he can just go into shadow.

Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
So Bill, like while you're at the top of the stairs.

Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
Bill makes a copy of it and hides it again.

Speaker 3 (01:17:42):
At fifteen on still.

Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
You're able to sneak through the pumpkin patch. And as
as is going, you are able to. You do see
something sneaking around the pump compatch.

Speaker 1 (01:18:02):
As you walk by, you see a you see a
giant like you see a giant tail.

Speaker 3 (01:18:10):
Not the goddamn jabblwaukee no.

Speaker 2 (01:18:14):
Row row a check or nature check whatever you think,
whatever you think it would be better.

Speaker 1 (01:18:30):
Yeah, rebel tale that this is a it's a reptile tail,
but it's not that saying it's not jabblwakee.

Speaker 3 (01:18:40):
Okay, I like it. I look at Bill and I
just kind of point.

Speaker 2 (01:18:48):
Bill looks at it. He gets let's say, where it's
dark out.

Speaker 1 (01:18:52):
He kind of slowly, he's like coming in and out
of reality as the night.

Speaker 2 (01:19:01):
He looks. Think it's a snake.

Speaker 3 (01:19:02):
It's a giant snake.

Speaker 12 (01:19:04):
Snake took out with scarecrows and a snake.

Speaker 1 (01:19:13):
And he he sniffs in the air, and you see
his eyes kind of kind of flash like in and out,
and you.

Speaker 2 (01:19:25):
Can see they turn red. It's like there's something bigger.

Speaker 3 (01:19:28):
Here, bigger, how much bigger?

Speaker 1 (01:19:38):
He looks over row, he points over and he uh
he points over at the compost heap.

Speaker 2 (01:19:47):
Is that something's over there?

Speaker 3 (01:19:50):
Roly?

Speaker 2 (01:19:51):
Uh yeah, Roll a perception check.

Speaker 3 (01:20:04):
Thirty twenty thirty twenty.

Speaker 2 (01:20:08):
You see that is indeed a creature.

Speaker 3 (01:20:11):
Oh, it's a creature.

Speaker 2 (01:20:13):
Looks like to.

Speaker 1 (01:20:14):
Be something that you've heard of called a shambling mound.

Speaker 3 (01:20:18):
What the fuck's the shambling mound?

Speaker 2 (01:20:21):
Shambling mound is kind of a so the compost heaps alive.

Speaker 3 (01:20:27):
Yes, that's gross. So it's kind of like a mimic,
but it's a compost heap.

Speaker 2 (01:20:32):
Yeah, think of it as like a grass kind of
a like kind of a plant creature.

Speaker 3 (01:20:37):
Oh okay, damn I don't have light.

Speaker 1 (01:20:40):
So yeah, so I think Roll, you want to try
to sneak out here and head back.

Speaker 2 (01:20:48):
To little op Yeah little oh yeah, Roal stealth check
one more time, sixteen.

Speaker 5 (01:20:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:20:58):
You you guys sneak through the patch, past the mound
and all that, and you all start heading back towards
and you start like heading back towards Little Woke, and
you're able to catch up to the scat to the
kids as they go further.

Speaker 3 (01:21:15):
Okay, that was anxiety driven. I'm anxious.

Speaker 2 (01:21:21):
You get there. One kid seems to be missing.

Speaker 3 (01:21:26):
God damn it. Which kid? The kid that was poisoned.

Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
No, seems to be uh.

Speaker 3 (01:21:34):
A little drown.

Speaker 1 (01:21:35):
No, the little drow in the restaurant in there, but
it seems the little the little boy that was with
the dwarf is missing.

Speaker 3 (01:21:46):
We're gonna get snitche no, God damn it.

Speaker 2 (01:21:53):
So and you all and you all continue to make
your way up to now you have got to Little
Oak and and that's saying. And you get to the
rest and everybody is still sleeping. And at that.

Speaker 3 (01:22:13):
Point, I'm an elf and I'm an drow. I don't
really need to sleep, So yeah, and just trance and
then I'm gonna stay up for a watch.

Speaker 2 (01:22:22):
Yeah, so you're gonna stay up and watch for the rest.

Speaker 3 (01:22:24):
And I well, can I do the how long does
the simple protection work for it? Is it eight hours?

Speaker 2 (01:22:33):
He's about eight hours?

Speaker 3 (01:22:34):
Can I draw that like so it can go around us?

Speaker 2 (01:22:42):
Yeah? Yeah, Conna on this bitch and throw a arcana check.

Speaker 3 (01:22:50):
Six plus seven.

Speaker 2 (01:22:53):
So watch fourteen.

Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
Bill that's saying Bill there, Bill help Bill Boil looks
at you and says and like and says, no, you
gotta like I said, it looks at you.

Speaker 2 (01:23:10):
I said, it's a little tricky for it. And he said,
and he says, you have to work to work, you
have to believe in the cause.

Speaker 3 (01:23:19):
I do believe in the cause.

Speaker 2 (01:23:21):
We're a one more time.

Speaker 3 (01:23:21):
Advantage sixteen plus seven.

Speaker 2 (01:23:27):
Yeah, so that's same. And like with it, where are
you going to draw it? First? Where are you going?
Where are you going to draw this?

Speaker 3 (01:23:38):
What does it look like like?

Speaker 2 (01:23:40):
Little oak?

Speaker 3 (01:23:41):
I'm not going to draw own little oak. I'll draw
outside a little oak.

Speaker 2 (01:23:45):
Little oak is think of like, ell, let me let
me let me see her wet picture a little oak.
Let me look at the big map.

Speaker 3 (01:24:05):
We liked the big map. If there was the carnival
that I didn't get to do.

Speaker 1 (01:24:19):
Yeah you yeah, you look like if you draw it
at the foot of little oak, you would be like
everybody would be protected.

Speaker 3 (01:24:29):
Okay, that's where I want to draw it.

Speaker 2 (01:24:31):
So you draw at the A U C A.

Speaker 1 (01:24:34):
Shield cover the whole area of little oak.

Speaker 3 (01:24:39):
Fuck that kid that got lost because I know he's
gonna go snitching.

Speaker 2 (01:24:43):
So.

Speaker 3 (01:24:45):
And it just gets stitches. Remember that child, if it
was a child, it was.

Speaker 2 (01:24:51):
A kid, yea.

Speaker 1 (01:24:55):
And as it continues, everybody like the kids go to
rest and.

Speaker 13 (01:25:01):
Everybody and then we just yeah, you and Bill sit
there and sit the rest of the day, and like said,
the rest of the night. He looks over so I'm
gonna go continue control it, do some more and wanders off,
disappears into the nights and you sit there on.

Speaker 2 (01:25:20):
Watch until the others wake up. Yep, And that is
where we're gonna end at tonight's.

Speaker 5 (01:25:26):
I'm surprised that went smoothly, honestly surprised because as many
net ones as I was smacking.

Speaker 3 (01:25:36):
Yeah, so I was like, oh God, that gave me anxiety.

Speaker 2 (01:25:47):
That's what happens when you got the amazing Bill Bar.

Speaker 3 (01:25:50):
I love Bill Barr.

Speaker 2 (01:25:51):
Yeah, so we will end at tonight's session. Gave everyone
a heads up for the next few weeks. It's gonna
be a little touch and go. We be on the lookout.

Speaker 1 (01:26:04):
We hates campaign when Titan's Wake is now finished, so
we are in talks of doing another campaign. We are
either going to we got a one shot coming up
that Cat is going to be running from the Legends

(01:26:27):
talks of doing a Star Trek session while also doing
like I am in the process of working a Crooked
Moon crossover with the Crossroads and do a storyline featuring that.
So we will see how that turns out, and we
hope everybody will enjoy it.

Speaker 2 (01:26:47):
As somebody who enjoys Legends of.

Speaker 1 (01:26:50):
Advantress, I am a huge fan of it and I've
forced it all on everybody else, and Cat will agree
I have forced Advantress on everybody else.

Speaker 2 (01:26:59):
Yes, that we would hopefully get to UH enjoy a
little bit of here and there of the UH Crooked Moon. Well. Also,
I am still in the process of working for my homebrew.

Speaker 1 (01:27:14):
