Are Prayers Answered?

Sometimes our prayers do not get answered because God sees the truth.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Have you ever looked back on a prayer and you
wanted it answered in the worst way. You were just
begging for God to answer your prayer. And then years
passed and that prayer wasn't answered, And then you reflect
on it today and you say, oh, wow, I'm so

(00:21):
glad that God did not grant my wish, my prayer.
I'm glad he didn't listen to me because God knows
the future. God knows what would have happened if he
would have answered that prayer. So a lot of times
when we pray and they don't get answered, there's a
reason for it. There's a reason because God is protecting you.

(00:45):
A lot of people get upset with God. They say,
God doesn't listen to me. God's angry with me. God
is punishing me. On the contrary, God loves you. God
is protecting you from everything that the next time you
pray for something that you think you need or want,

(01:06):
should I say, But God is saying no, no, no,
this is not what you need. And I certainly will
not entertain your wants. But I will always give you
what you need. And I see your future. I see
that person in your life, I see that job in
your life. I see that situation in your life, and
I'm not going to grant you what you think you

(01:27):
want or need because I know your future, I know
your needs. Say it the Lord. So next time you pray,
think about that. And a lot of prayers are answered.
That's because God is granted you the prayer because he
sees what's going to happen with that prayer. He knows

(01:48):
the person in front of you, he knows the person
behind closed doors that's talking behind your back. He sees
the wolf dressed in sheep's clothing. He sees it all. So,
my dear friends, don't get discouraged if the prayers aren't answered.
