Speaker 1 (00:43):
And welcome Tom Cruise Cafe About Mongo, and today we
are joined by a very special guest, the spark Jada Stone.
We may know from many promotions such as DPW, gcw
AW just recently Triple A, nw A, New Japan, t NA,
and OVW. You've been everywhere, so thank you so much
for coming on our show, and Grace answer your presence.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Thank you, thank you. It's crazy you actually say all
those things, because I didn't even realize that it's been
that many crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Mean, what like three years.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, I'm about to hit three years on Halloween.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
So yes, it's incredible.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
You really should be proud of that. That's a huge,
like milestone three years ago, easily like twenty companies. Probably
so crazy. He made Netflix before.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
W w WE did.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
I'm just saying web W.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
So I guess what we always kind of like to
start out with is what inspired you to get into
wrestling or what inspired you to start your career or
start training.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yes, so I actually started because I have an older
brother and at the time he was obsessed with wrestling
and I think I got put on punishment for something.
So you know, my mom was like, no TV, and
I was like Oh my gosh. So my brother was
being annoying and he knew like I didn't like wrestling
or I want to watch anything other than wrestling, so

(02:11):
he put it on on purpose. And I remember one
day I just got stuck watching it like all day,
and then I looked up and I was like, wait,
I'm not gonna lie. This stuff is actually kind of
cool and I should think I can do this. They're
like superstars, and they they made me feel some type
of way, and that's kind of like how I want
to feel. You know. They made me feel like I

(02:33):
could do whatever I wanted, and I feel like that's you. Look,
you're superhero if you can do that to anybody. So
from there, I was like a fan. I studied it
and then I started going to shows. Then I started
going to like different indie local shows around me, and
then I first got my jover's license, and I first

(02:56):
had my job at Chick fil A. I finally got
enrolled in training in school and was when I was sixteen.
So yeah, it's been a little ride, and then from there,
I mean, the rest is history.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
That's awesome. Also, first of all, since you worked at
Chick fil A, because I got to discover. We moved
to North Carolina from New England, so I got to
discover the greatness is that that is Chick fil A.
So that's that warms my heart too because I'm like,
it's so good that in cheerwine. I've discovered cheerwine's been legit.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
I want to know did you have, like were you
already in cheerleading when you discovered wrestling with your brother?

Speaker 2 (03:40):
I was, So it's crazy because like I've always been
like my dad used to call him and cartwool because
like at three years old, I was just krtwooling around
and they're like, she has so much energy, she needs
to be in something. So I originally was in softball
when I actually started watching wrestling or like I guess
when I fell in love with wrestling, and then from
there then I transferred to cheer And that was in

(04:06):
like fifth grade when I transferred to cheers. So it
was actually softball at first, but then I was like,
I want to learn how to flip and then my
parents were like you should do cheer or something because
I was thought the gymnastics was too hard because they
have so many different things they have to do. But
I like the tumbling aspect of it, and I like
to you know, like go up in the air and
cheer and then come back down and you know, like

(04:28):
have little performances or whatever. Because in cheer I also
traveled the world because we had competitions all over so
even before wrestling, like I've been traveling the world, so
like being in on airplanes or being in cars for
a long time, like never really bothered me because of
cheer and like softball tournaments.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
So thanks, that's good, No, that's awesome, And I love
that you've translated cheer into your style and your the athleticism.
We were talking because we actually saw you, you know,
a couple weeks ago DPW, and we were t talking
about just how you move in the ring, like when
you do the double backhandspring into the spark stunner, like
I pop every single time because it just looks so cool,

(05:07):
or when you do the head scissors takeover. Emily loves
it every time when you do like the backhands spring
to the head scissors takeover.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
I can't even do it like a backflip unless there's
a trampoline involved. Like I never learned how to cartwheel,
and I'm thirty four like it is sad, I hate it,
but at the same time, I think that's why I
enjoy wrestling, especially like today's style of wrestling.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
I think it's just so enjoyable because you.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Get to see somebody do things that they wouldn't have
done twenty years ago. And it's maybe that's why I
didn't watch twenty years ago.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
But like everybody, like, creativity is just like growing and growing,
and it it makes wrestling better because I feel like
I'm always trying to get better. So I'm like, oh,
this is cool, Okay, how can I top that? And
then other people want to top that, and then that's
how wrestling just grows as a whole.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Yeah, the competitive, but good competitive?

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Yes good competitive. Emphasize on the.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Good, yes, because I feel like you grow together.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Yes good.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Do you have any influences or is anyone that you
like you gravitated to when you were training or when
you were first breaking in, like I really like that
style or really like that person.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Yeah. So I feel like when I first started watching wrestling,
I'm not even gonna lie, like I knew like there
were different styles, but I wasn't like aware of like
what that actually meant. I knew like some people would
be like bouncing on the ropes, and then I know
some people would just do like more grappling style, and
then I know some people would just you know, be
more character and different stuff. But I never really knew

(06:37):
like the specifics. But I feel like when I first
like started being a fan, like my all tope, my
all two time favorite, I always say is Bailey and
Sasha Banks aka me or City's Monette. But I like
Bailey because I just feel like she was like a
good technical wrestler, and I feel like she didn't have
to be like she didn't like put on this sexy

(06:58):
look and you know, like she was little tomboy. She
was herself. She wasn't scared to be herself. And like
now it's like everybody in the locker room talks about
Bailey and she's not like hot, you know what wrestling
used to be back in the day. And I feel
like she's just so authentic and I love that about her.
So that's why I gravitated to her. And then like
as far as like Mercedes and or you know, Sasha

(07:19):
Banks or whatever, she's just so confident and like she
like you can tell she's the boss, Like nobody can
tell her like she's not the boss. The way she walks,
the way she talks is just so gravitating, and whether
you like her or you hate her, you can't tell
her like she's not a star. And then her wrestling
is just top tiers. So those were like my top
two and they still are. But and then Trinity. You know,

(07:44):
you can't forget about Trinity.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Absolutely. I was fortunate enough to be in Orlando when
she won the title, and I just remember the place
went crazy for her. And I know I love those cheese.
I'm that person like people make for meal time, but
like I love those cheese moments. I love this because
that's why I think connects to you as a fan.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
I'm the crier I it.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
So I'm glad you mentioned Bay because I wuldn't be
because Emily point out I had forgotten. But the WrestleMania
forty press common she was. She was wearing your shirt
and she was talking about you.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
No, that's not like for you. I literally was shook.
But it's crazy because I always say, like everything happens
for a reason. Because Bailey had a meet and greet
that Thursday, it was for Mania weekend and I was
down there, you know, doing my indie shows or whatnot,
but I didn't get a ticket because it already sold out.
I wanted one, but then I was like, you know,

(08:39):
I got to save my money for this flight here.
I gotta you know, get around Philly. You know, I
gotta indy little workers. Gotta save my money. So I
was like, you know what, I don't have two hundred
extra dollars to spend right now, but that sucks. And
then this this fan actually like messaged me. It was like, hey, like,
I have another Bailey ticket if you want to meet
her or whatever. And I was like, oh my god, yes.

(09:01):
I wanted to be hurt because it's crazy because I
would have, like my show that day was early too,
so I could have made Bailey's like meat greet so
everything like a line. And then I ended up giving
her my shirt. She already knew who I was, which
was crazy because I didn't realize that she like actually
knew that that girl was me. And then we talked
about We talked for a little bit, and then Sunday
she she won Mania. I'm sitting here freaking out that

(09:24):
she won Mania, putting her over like crazy and then
she comes out wearing my shirt and then I was
just insane, that's just crazy, Like she won Mania, won
a whole title, literally the biggest Mania of her career
so far, with the great match with Eos got may

(09:45):
I add, and then she and she was one of
my shirt like the whole time, and she put me
over and I feel like that's really cool, but I
also feel like that means we have to have a
match and then storyline.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
So yeah, you know, I know Cody's got his story,
but I get finish your story.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
Exactly exactly WrestleMania next year. It needs to get both.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Thank you. I'm ready. I'm ready now. I think I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
And you know, Vegas is the land of Neon, and
so you know what Neon made is sparks, take it
to cause it to go. So what's without some sparks.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Hello, We're here for it. Everybody loves Vegas. Vegas is
going to be so crazy that like instant, I know.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
It's do you have like promotions that you're hoping to
work for that week?

Speaker 2 (10:31):
GCW again. I hope my friend is running a promotion
called Let Wrestling Live. Nadia Hunter, she's down in North
Carolina as well, so hopefully that one as well. Future
stars that's down in Vegas are ready, and then I

(10:52):
probably do all Caribbean wrestling again. I probably, yeah, you know,
hopefully I'll put my little flyer out there, reach out
to some promotions and hope that I'm booked and busy
because last Many I had one booking and then this
past many I had five, so I went up tremendously.
So hopefully this year's even times five.

Speaker 4 (11:13):
So that would Honestly, there was somebody one year that
we probably Matt Cardona, but I was like amazed watching
how many promotions they went to in one week, and
I was like, that's incredible, Like that is such a
hard work ethic too, Like you guys really put in
the work, yes, crazy, and you can you.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Can definitely tell, you know, Emily's a big fan of
cage match to you know, look up matches to watch
on YouTube and look up different things. And I was looking,
you know, at it recently and I noticed your your
matches have really grown EXTPONECI since you started. You're definitely
putting the work too, and that's awesome and.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
I hope So I was about to say, what were
they Okay, I was gonna say, oh, it's all good,
but I know I might have had some slip ups
here and there, but overall it is it decent.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
Okay, No, I there was not a shortage of content,
Like I just put your name in YouTube and everything
just flooded, and I was like, I'm.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
So happy for her.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
It makes my heart so happy to see, like, you know,
it's only been three years, Like that's huge. You have
all these places under your belt already. Like I can't
emphasize enough how huge that is.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
So I guess we have the names.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
That being said, do you have any any favorite people
you've worked with training wise or even in the match.
There's some of your favorites. I know, I definitely looked
you at a long list. I'm sure it's gonna be
hard to pick, but who are some of your favorites.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
I mean, I trained with Mercedes Money before. Okay, Sasha,
so that was pretty fucking lit my language.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Oh no, absolutely, it was just like and.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Mind you, I didn't even know she was coming, so
kind of it was just it just shook me. But
I feel like that'll always be my favorite so far
until I get to Wrestore, but uh, I really love
rest In Shoko Nakajima, like that was so so fun.
I love wrestling Su Young, I love wrestling Kiera Hogan.
I've loved wrestling Queen Almanada. I've love wrestling with Mayo

(13:14):
Watani from Stardom, Konami from Stardom. I've had some fun
fair names, and then I love wrestling like you know
some local indies. Uh, you got My World, you got
Zara Zacher, you got vert Vix, and you got high On.
You got Promised Braxton, amazing Promise love her. You just

(13:38):
have like Gigi rad you just have like all of
these great women popping out, and so it keeps me
on my toes. I'm not gonna lie. I love people
or women trying to just help each other grill. So yeah,
an anybody who I just listened, But I'm not even
take on anybody, So really I want any and everybody.

(13:59):
But those are some of my favorites.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
No, I love that attitude. And I'm glad you mentioned
about you because I saw a video last week and
it's just it just happened to come up on timeline
from April where she wants you to go to start
them with her, And I think that's fantastic. Like you
guys were talking, if you guys had a tag team
match and you had won back in April, and she
was putting you over and telling you what you know,
I want you go to start them, and I say,

(14:23):
like that that would be so amazing. I mean just
the fact that you know she's wrestling for the top
prize and startom right now, and there she is three
months ago saying or sorry, five six months ago. Wow,
time flies, you know, to start them, So I think
that'd be amazing. And I think seeing you've worked with
like Aja Kong, like seeing all these people, it's what
was my mind.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
She's so great and it was it was such an
honor to work with Aja Kong too. I wish next
time I have to wrestle her. We were only tag
partners that time. But hopefully it's for her next time
and figure out, you know, Rustle legend because she's so
cool and she's so so cool. But the spot will
be in Japan soon, so awesome. You know, I was

(15:04):
gonna have to cross and you know we'll stay hopeful.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Absolutely, Nope. I hope to see you coming to stardom
because I will get up early in the morning to
watch that with them because we absolutely love it. And
I she really opened my eyes. And I've always been
a fan of wrestling, and I was I was never
the typical male fan. I loved all wrestling, so I was,
you know, a fan of like the ladas and the
statuses and the ivories and so seeing the women's the

(15:31):
real women's revolution now esp in the Indies with YouTube,
it's just great to see all these different styles and
the fact that you can adapt to all these styles,
that's such a testament.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
I got to change his mind because I found wrestling
through Total Divas. So I got to like show him, No,
that's the Bella's like that, that is incredible, that's Page,
that's Paige. Like this girl right here, money love her
and like love. So he got to learn a little
different side of everybody because obviously he wasn't gonna watch

(16:02):
Total Divas. And I know a lot of it's for
the show, but it's still.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
I loved it.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
I Trinity and every single.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Every single week, what was it on Tuesdays?

Speaker 3 (16:12):
Yes, every y.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
There, that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
I used to be a big Bella. I actually like
when I first start watching MELA. Like wrestling like the
Bella Twins and Alicia Fox and Tamina and all of those.
That was my era when I first came in and
Paige was killing it. It was crazy. But now, like
wrestling has changed even since then, and that's only been

(16:38):
a couple of years, so I wondered in like five years.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
I know, it's it's it's wild to think about, how,
like you said, you can go from like you know,
the Bellas being on top and Trinity being on top,
and you know, Bailey just kind of coming off for
XT now like he's like at WrestleMania. Mercedes is in
a whole nother company wrestling, and I never thought i'd
see that three years ago, And like you said, what's
gonna be like next year?

Speaker 2 (17:03):
And then like now you have ww mixed combining with
TNA NXTTNA, like is it's so much craziness going on.
Then AJ Styles just went to freaking Noah like a
couple of months ago, Like what AJ.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
Freaking Style justzy.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
So it's crazy and so cool how like wrestling is
changing and it it gives me hope for the future.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
No and I love there's so many ways to watch it. Now,
so it can give opportunities to people. So it's not
just oh there's one place or one promotion that puts
you on TV. You can be on YouTube and still
get millions of hits. So you can be on Instagram
live and I've seen GCW get you know, one hundred
thousand hits on a random YouTube clipper.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
I used to watch wrestling through Instagram, No shame.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
I wanted.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
Like one time I was like slipping through because I
basically just follow wrestling and del me Xo was like
live and she was doing commentary for the sidelines and
I was like, this needs to happen more. Tell me
on commentary, Like she was crushing. It was so funny.
She wasn't actually commentary, which is for her, but it
was great.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
So what are your what are some of your favorite
I guess matches that you've had with like that really,
I guess taught you about more about the business. Like
is there a match that really stands out with you
that that match really helped me do this or help
me do that.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Yeah? Sorry, Yeah, I have a couple of matches that
stick like stand out to me, like some for good,
some for bad. But you know, I feel like they're
all for good because, uh, when I watched myself do
stuff that I absolutely hate, I never do it again.
And I feel like sometimes that's what we need, you know,

(18:48):
sometimes you have to embarrass ourselves to get better. But
when I think about like some of the bad, I
think of when I faced Queen Amanada, one thing I
wish I could change in that match was I love
the match. I mean, I had fun, but my strikes
weren't strong at all, and I feel like, to me,
that's the only thing I can notice. So from there,

(19:10):
and Queen Aminada made me look so bad because her
strikes are so so good. So I was like, oh, oh,
you know, I was like I didn't I didn't like
the way that looked, and so like, just for myself,
since you know, I can be whoever I want in
the ring, I want to make my strikes more crisp.
But so ever since then, I've been cleaning up my

(19:31):
strikes and then just like learning different strikes because I
feel like women if a woman, if a woman has
a good strike, like I feel like it makes the
room stop and stare and goes like oh that was
good or oh she really got them, you know, and
wrestling is real, so I want to make it look
like that. But other good matches I've had was my
match with Kiera Hogan. I was actually losing my spark

(19:54):
and then having that match with her, she cast herself
the flame so she I feel like she really helped
myself spark grow and that's what I needed at the time.
So I had fun with her and then my Mattress
Show Go. She's just really good at technical wrestling, and
I've I actually live out in La now, so it's
for something here. But I moved out to LA to

(20:16):
train with the new Japan Dojo to work more on
my grappling and technical style, you know, because I can
be a high flyer. I can do this, bounce off
the ropes and do all these cool flips. Yes, I
have character here and there, Yes, but is my is
my wrestling good? Can I wrestle with the best? And
with that being said, when I trained with Mercedes, I

(20:38):
felt like my my technical wrestling was not as good
as I would like it to be. And that's okay
because you know, I mean, she's she's been wrestling for
how however many years? Does she's going to be better
than me? In all aspects, but I just felt like
I could have done better. She's great, she didn't say anything.
I'm just letting everybody know she didn't.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
Me.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
It's just me. So from there, I want I really
started focusing on that and then my show Go Nakajima match.
I felt like I was more confident with the technical
side of wrestling, and none of that was called either.
So the fact that I did it and it was
just that, I was like, okay, growth. So it's all

(21:19):
about growth.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
The fact that you're your own harshest critic though, because
when you're in the ring, you gravitate so much energy
to you that that doesn't show because.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
Everything that you're doing is just amplified.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
No, it's electric.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
I love it. I love that I don't show it and.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
I will and I will tell you though. Emily screamed
so hard when we went to DP because we did.
We obviously didn't know you were gonna be on the car,
you know, due to travel issues. We know it was
a surprise, and wow, when you burst through the curtain,
if you if you go back and you watch it,
we're I think we're like second row on the hard
camp side. You can see her jump out of her
chair and go Jade out. It was the greatest thing.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
I was so excited, was so crazy, I told you guys,
but I was like, I haven't been a DPW so long.
Hopefully they remember me. Hopefully they cheered for me.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
And then when you got to know you had the
whole place, it was insane like I had.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
I had so much energy I couldn't even I was
I was just so excited to be back. But you
guys so dope. Sow will always be one of my
favorite places. The rest of them know, like matter how
often or how little I wrestled there, So thank you guys.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
Our first show, we heard what is it the ship Fox,
and I looked at him and I'm like.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
What the fuck is there?

Speaker 2 (22:39):
I was like, oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
I was like, it's their chips. It does and now.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
We're doing it.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
That chap. When I get that chip, I know that
everything's good.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
No, I just love it because you know, obviously we
didn't get to see the Queen Amanata match live, but
you know we got to see when you you and
Max and Heidi and Rachel when you guys had your
tag team match, and then obviously Rachel trayed you guys
had the three way match the following week or following month.
That was just such a fun series because we were like, oh, wow,
they're telling, you know, a story from you know, show

(23:15):
to show. This isn't just like a random match thrown together.
Not that there's anything wrong with you know that either,
but wh So we were more invested. We're like, oh,
Jade's gonna wrestle. So it really works because we're like, oh,
we wanted to see you get your payback on Rachel.
So I just liked that you guys are so good
at that subtle storytelling with each other. You guys had
such good chemistry.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Yes, and Rachel was so dope too. And then I
went to Texas and I beat her butt in Texas too, Yes.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
In her home.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Yeah. So I just think it's you know, wild to
say you flew across country do that. And then you
were just in Mexico for Triple A. Like, what was
it like going into down to Mexico and wrestling in
that historic area?

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Uh? Insane? So it's crazy because I was only caught
that day and I was so like, hey, we've had
a call out. We need you to come if you're available,
chiple A and I was like, oh, I'm down, let
me know when you know whatever. So you know, I
handled everything, make sure I got everything ready. And then
I was in Mexico and then it was like, uh,

(24:17):
it was like a tag match, but it was it
was four different tag teams in the match, so it
was a lot of craziness going around. Not gonna lie.
I got there, like the show started at eight thirty.
I got there at nine o'clock. We went on at
nine twenty nine, so I'm literally getting dressed. Mind you,
all of them speak Spanish. There's this one girl named

(24:39):
Pittsun think thank god for her who speaks Swannish and English,
who helped me translate. But it was so I was
so remember being so stressed and I was like, oh
my god, this is my debut. I'm gonna do so bad.
I was stressing and they were like, but I thought
I was stressing because they were like, you're so calm,
you calm, you calm, And I was like because in

(25:00):
my head, but they they were so easy to work with.
They were so easy to follow, and I was there
for everything I needed to do. And then the crowd
it was like three thousand people in there, so like
that's the biggest arena I've ever performed in front of.
So that was a big deal to me, especially like
being my debut match and then I'm coming back. I

(25:22):
can't tell you guys win yet, but so I impressed
and I'm coming back, and that's good.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
That's huge, especially with the you know, the rich history
and how they've you know, they put.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
Their matches like they don't just let anybody just come
in there, Like it's so crazy. So the fact that
they've even like said that I was, you know, okay
enough to even fill the spot was just such an
honor and dream come true because Triple A, like that's
always been a dream of mind, but it hasn't been
on the forefront of my mind just because like I'm

(25:58):
not a luchador or you know, I don't speak Spanish
or I don't look like them. But everything happens for
a reason, and wrestling is all about making opportunities, and
I feel like that's what I did. I made I
made the most of my opportunity. And as long as
you you don't have to do a whole bunch of
loocha moves, as long as you do what you do,

(26:19):
good and you get over with the fans and you
you're good. You're good. You don't have to do all
these moves and crazy stuff. So it was fun. It
was fun.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
So excited that you get to go back and you know,
you said you your goal is Japan, So I guess
that's that'll be kind of my next question. So what
kind of future goals you have? We talked about, you know,
finishing the story Bailey, finishing with Mercedes, going to start,
and what are the kind of goals do you do
Jada have for the future.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Yeah, I I want to make my name known worldwide.
I feel like that's my number one goal right now.
So I've I've wrestled in the I've wrestled in Canada,
i wrestled in the US. Obviously, they wrestled in Jamaica.
Back to Wrestling the Bahamas, Mexico. I just did Mexico. Japan.

(27:06):
I'm trying to go to Japan asap soon, so hopefully
something with that comes up. But promotions that I'd want
to be on for Japan at least is really all
of them. But my top two I guess I would
have to say is T J P W and then
start them well, I top two for sure, so I'm

(27:31):
like one of the two Marvelis is dope too. There's
just so many great promotions. But then if it's not Japan,
I mean obviously w W is the goal for me. Yeah,
so hopefully w W soon too.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
We'll see, I know, like you said, with the TNA
partnership and then they you wrestled ashby Elegance and you
know Alicia Edwards over on ten A, who knows, maybe
they can ring an XTA and you know, you want
to talk about some change in the game. They have
Dealta are coming in. They have Julia Stephanie de Kor
that would be that that has to be to make.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Up Dephanitiely is funny because me and Stephanie were actually
talking about having a match, like we were messaging about
having a match before she got signed, and then she
got signed, and then you know, all bets are at
the table, so maybe that match is just still bruing
to happen. Just maybe it's gonna happen. So I have
to get there first, but I'm Japan is on my
mind first, and then once I get to Japan, then

(28:26):
I'm coming back to the States and w W or
really anywhere who wants me, not just WW. I want
to I want to go to TEENA, AW wherever, wherever.
I just want to get signed. But goal of mind,
little Jada seven year old would be happy for w
W just because that's always been my goal.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
No, absolutely, it's not uncommon.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
I think the cool thing for young like very young
fans like our son is ten and he wants to
be a professional wrestler, and there's not just WrestleMania anymore.
Like the big thing isn't just like not that that's
not the biggest, but like you have all in, you
have double or nothing, you have these other big shows

(29:08):
that kids can look at and be like, I.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
Want to do that.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (29:13):
I think it's really exciting for the young generation because obviously.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Yeah, we all did grow up with WWE.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
So many different places to go, and that's why I
feel like this generation of wrestling is the best because
you don't just have to go to WW. You could
New Japan. You can go to New Japan if you
just want to do Japan. You can do Mexico like
chiple A, you can do you can literally do whatever
you want. You could do TNA and NXC, at the
same time, Hell, you could, you could do whatever. You

(29:42):
can do whatever in wrestling. So I think it's it's
really cool for this this generation if we you know,
all get our minds minds right, didn't help each other
get to the top.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
No, I love it. I love the positive attitude you
have towards it because you know, as you know fans,
you know, you know, watching it, it's nice to see
the realism of you know, everyone else put their best
and I put their energy in. And I think that's
what's always drawn us to you is your energy is
so real when you're in the ring, whether you're you
know you're finished, or whether you're working, and whether you're

(30:15):
hitting that crazy spark stunner, which I still every time
I see him, just like, holy god, you're so fast
with it and just so fluid, And all I could
think of was like, if I landed that wrong, I
wouldn't be able to walk for three weeks. And she's
getting thrown out of the ring and she's fine. I
don't know if you want to teach me, I'm not
very Cortney. I'm pretty close, that's fair.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
He went to take a bump for a photo and no.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
No, I broke a rib. I tried to be funny
and do like the little flare front face bump that
he does a ring. My flip flop got caught in
the canvas, so I wasn't able to like so I
tried to turn myself by stupidly turn myself all my ribs,
so instead just had to, you know, hold my ribs
the entire rest of the weekend on the career, trying

(31:00):
to careful, right, So do you have any future events
coming up that you want to I know you said
you can't talk about Triple any future events that you want
to plug or that you kind of want to bring up,
any future data that you have booked?

Speaker 2 (31:21):
Is this going? I'm trying to think. So this weekend
I have two shows in LA. These are just local shows,
some neutral shows, so these aren't really too too special.
But next week, the twelfth, I will be at Reality
of Wrestling Booker t School defending my title with my

(31:44):
tag team partner in Maya World. So that should be fun.
So if anybody's in the Texas area, you know, come
see Bookert's promotion Reality of Wrestling. It's really really fun.
And then the following week after that, I will be
in Bahamas wrestling in the Bahamas, so that should be fun.
So more pictures and stuff to come from that. So yeah,

(32:06):
so right now just have Texas and then the following
we're gonna have Bahamas.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
Yeah, that's awesome. So you get to get you get
to go wrestling in the Bahamas and yeah, and on
the beach after.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
It's like we have like four days and then we
have to set up one day and then the show
the another, so it's like we have two free days
to just do whatever. It's free. So I'm never gonna
you know, deny a free trip, but it'll be an
honor to be able to wrestle in the Bahamas as well.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
That's really cool.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
That's so cool. I didn't even know they had wrestling
in the Bahamas. And when we take the crews, we went
down to the Bahamas multiple times different parts and didn't
know there was wrestling. That would have been cool to
try to find.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
Right, I mean we did find it, but it was
ew Dynamite.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
Yeah. Local. Yes, I always want to see like the
local Indians and local shows just because like you know,
like you j I like seeing people who will go
out there and put you know, they're passionate. It doesn't
matter if there's one person in the crowd, if there's
one hundred thousand people in the ground, Yeah, do their best.
And I love it because I think that's what entertaining

(33:10):
is to me, is going out there watching the show
that it's family friendly, it's fun, and then afterwards you
just go, holy crap, that was fun. That was certain.
Let's watch that again. And I love that You've always
had that Perfomer mindset.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
Yeah, And it means a lot to us too, because
like the fans that started with me, like since the beginning,
like I remember, so if I ever I hope so
you know, you know, I pray to God every day
that I make it. So if I ever make it
to the top, it's like I'm gonna remember like the
people who like rode with us, like when we had nothing,
and like that means a lot to us too, because

(33:43):
we wouldn't have been you know, we would be nobody
if it wasn't for you guys supporting and actually following
us and doing these podcasts, because these take time just
as much from us as you guys. So we appreciate
you guys, and I appreciate you guys, So no, thank you.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
We definitely you know, appreciate the time today and loved
hearing your story and get we'll get this up quick
on YouTube. That way we can get you know, your
match announcements out. And I think I might have another
question before I wrap up for you.

Speaker 4 (34:09):
I mean, we've got Dez up in Canada, and I
know he listens.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
He does book t a WHR.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Totally Arctic wrestling. It's up in a new VIC.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
Way up. I'm down.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
I'll have to tell Dez.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
I'm just saying it would be another milestone.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
That would be fire. That would be fire. The only
place that like I've been at was Destiny in Canada.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
So if you guys I have heard of Destiny, that's
pretty cool that you get to get that's a lot
of a lot of famous people have gone through that.
A lot of who's who've gone through that. So that's
pretty cool. Cray crazy, that's so awesome.

Speaker 4 (34:50):
And you said that you are at Booker T's. I
didn't realize that that was Booker T School. So you've
got Roxane Perez and NXT killing it. I think ros
going too, like.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
So good, that's my dream. I'm like, cause you know,
like when you walk in like we have like all
the posters of everybody. You know, there's like a q A,
there's like Athena, there's Rock Sanne, there's like all of these,
there's the USO Brothers, like there's like all these amazing talent.
I'm like, that's my goal, Like I need to have
my poster hanging up on Booker T's wall like that,

(35:23):
like like that has to happen because Brooker T is
a legend and Hall of Famer hisself, so it'll just
be such an honor within itself.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
So and you had Al Snow, yeah, and your photogenic
as hell, So that poster is gonna look really good.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
So I I'll snow, Yes, I'll know too, I'll snow
to love him, love him.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
There was like our son used to watch all the
old school DVDs and there was a night I woke
up in the middle of the night and I'm like,
why do I hear Al Snow? He was just like
watching him commentate a DVD. And I'm like, oh, this
is pretty awesome. Like I already liked Al Snow because
I did remember seeing him when I was a kid,
but I didn't watch wrestling that much then, and I

(36:04):
I feel like he's definitely somebody pretty prestigious in the
wrestling world to be able to work with.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Yes, and he's just so creative, like he doesn't have
to do anything and he gets ob And for me,
that's what I want to start learning how to do,
because I mean when I first got into the business,
it was like a, oh, I have to do this, this, this,
and this, and if I don't do this, the fans
is gonna hate me. But it's like, no, I'm just
gonna be myself because that's what they like, and that's,
you know, what you guys stick to. Like, you guys

(36:32):
can like see who's authentic and who's not. So I'd
rather be myself. And if you don't like me, I'm
probably gonna cry, but it's okay. But at least if
you do like me, it's because it's actually me. And
I feel like that's kind of what a taught me.
And he taught me how to work the cameras and
the and just just the life of being a superstar.
Like I have to treat myself like a superstar because
at the end of the day, we're all superstars, you know.

(36:55):
So He's taught me a lot about like that side
of the business, So shout out to al.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
