Crystal Blue is an outpost on the planet Thera II. The Earth's Defense Force (EDF) sends military personnel to the Theras when they break rules or go against protocol. A kind of "time out" if you will. Being sent to the Theras isn't fun, but it beats a dishonorable discharge. In this inaugural episode, Stooge and Palmer find themselves sent to Crystal Blue where they will be forced to monitor space travel and help build Air Purifier Towers (APTs). It doesn't seem like the worse job in the galaxy, but it all depends how long you have to stay. Hopefully their terms are short...
