Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey guys, and welcome to episode twenty one of Cube,
the Marvel Snap Podcast. I know it's been a quick
minute that we haven't done this, but we are back
and hopefully we can get back on track. You know,
life was kicking our ass, but you know, we kicked

(00:21):
back and took names. So so we are back with
episode twenty one and it's you know, we have seen
each other in person, but it's finally nice to see
you guys online again to get this going.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
So how are you guys doing?

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Just another beautiful evening?

Speaker 4 (00:41):
Yeah doing good man, Happy to be back. Life has
been busy, but you know we're here, so I'm pumped.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
So we actually have missed quite a bit, so we're
actually gonna go over what we left off, and basically
it's just this whole season, so we're basically basically they
gonna recap this season in this episode. So let's get started.
The first card that we're gonna talk about is the

(01:08):
season pass card in Gwen pool that's correct, right, I'm
not mistaken, yep, Okay, all.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Right, So.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Gwen Poole was a season pass card. It's a four
power six uh yeah, four cost six power and it's
an on reveal. So you pick a random card in
your hand three times, it gives it plus two power
each time. Now, when this card came out, it was
pretty crazy. If I'm not you know, if I'm not mistaken,

(01:42):
it was like almost in every deck and it was like, hey,
let's just get as much power on the board as possible.
Some people were even holding their hands to be like, okay,
well I could play so much power on turn six.
How do you guys feel about this card? Especially now,

(02:02):
I mean throughout the whole month, we had a month
to test it. How do you guys feel about this card?
Let's start with you Buck Joy.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Okay, so this card is an amazing picture of a
couple of things being able to just beef up your hand,
throw it out there when your opponent has.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
No idea what it hit. I mean, that's the big thing.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
When it comes to you know, your red Hulk's building up.
They can see that's coming up. That's going to come
out to play, or it might not. If you're pumping
that and then you hit abs Man on that thing.
I mean, you got some power that is almost unstoppable. So,
I mean, this card has been just super fun to play.
I love its plug ability. You can put it in
pretty much any deck and have a solid line with

(02:41):
her alone.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
So I'm a big fan.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
How about yourself, don.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
I mean, I can definitely credit this card to taking
me to fitit this season. I ran this in a
surfer deck and honestly did an awesome job. The ability
for or to hit so many cards combined with your
you're absorbing man, is just amazing. You know, next thing,

(03:08):
you know, you're hitting it twice. You know, if you
hit Staw or you hit your root or so many cards,
it just it works so well to make it just
really ramp up your power. So I love this card.
It was a great season passed. I give it a
ten out of ten.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
That that's pretty crazy because, like I've the first week
I saw people play gwen Pool with.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
What is It?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
With Sebastian Shaw with Mysterio, Because the thing is when
it buffs Mysterio, it gives it plus two power, but
not only the original but also the copies. So it
was a really amazing turn six power play that you

(04:01):
know some people were coming up with. I mean, you
don't see it as much now, uh, you see gwen
Pool with Surfer more more than not. But other than that,
I haven't seen it in in a like a good
cards deck right where they were running like like I said,
they were running mocking Bird with uh, with Mysterio or

(04:25):
and with Sasquatch. You know they're they were using gwen
Pool to buff all those cards and then on turn
five and six you're just kind of like out of power,
you know. So it's pretty cool card, but I don't
know it's it's uh, it's not. It's usability is probably

(04:47):
like mid tier, you know, it's not. It doesn't fit
in everything because it's kind of hard when you have
hands with our decks that hold cards, like you know,
you end up with like five cards in the hand
you play gwen Pool.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
You know you don't.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
It's random, right, So even in car like decks that
have a good way of getting rid of cards, I
find it hard to uh to play Gwen Poole when
you know it's like, oh, well, I don't know who
it's gonna hit, so might as well not. But overall,

(05:25):
really good card. I'm I'm glad they added Gwen Pole
the character in the game, because she's she's a pretty
cool character, especially with Deadpool coming out. We didn't see
her in the movie, but uh yeah, Deadpool man, My bad,
my bad. I think that's I think that's a self explanatory.

(05:47):
You should have seen Gwen poll in a Deadpool movie.
But uh we'll get into a Deadpool diner in a bit.
So the first card that actually came out with Gwen
Poole was.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Was this Theena?

Speaker 5 (06:08):
No, No, was the top.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
It was Bob.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
It was Bob.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Okay, so Bob. Yeah, I don't have everything layered. So
Bob was the card that came out with Gwen Poole
and Hydro Bob. So the card is a one cost
five power card. After each turn, this moves if a

(06:33):
player snapped. Now, the wording of this was very difficult
at first because I was like, Okay, this is a
very good card, right. The wording to me sounds like
if a player snapped, after each turn, I'll move. That's

(06:54):
what my thought process was. Was I the only one
that thought that?

Speaker 3 (07:00):
I mean, I honestly thought like coming out that if
someone snapped, you'd be able to move this whenever, right, Okay,
I was thinking that you were going to be able
to move it. Not it just moves itself to a
random spot.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
So it's just kind of like if you look at it,
like if you read the text, it's like after each turn,
because this is you could play this turn one, So
if you snap turn one, it's like after each turn,
this moves if a player snapped, it should read after
the turn a player snaps, this card moves to a

(07:38):
random location.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Right, Does that make sense?

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Yep?

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Yeah, because like I don't know, I think they're kind
of being careful with the text that they use because
of how they code things, right, so they want to
make it as clear as possible. But when I first
read this card, I got very confused until we used it.
So let me start what you've done. How do you

(08:05):
feel about this card?

Speaker 3 (08:08):
I think it's an okay card, Like is it a
six thousand token card? No, Like, let's be honest. And
what's really interesting. I don't know if you guys have
seen this month, right, So, like we don't have a
card this week, but there were two cards in the
first week to begin with. Yeah, it seems like they
could have spaced that out a little bit better, but
you know that's whatever. This card's okay, Like it works

(08:32):
really well in a like Zoo deck just because you
have that kind of premium one to five power. You know.
Obviously it started at I think one four and got
buffed already. Yes, like I said, I one pulled it,
so I don't regret it at all. But if you

(08:53):
had the like four pull this thing, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
It's okay. So how about yourself to good? How do
you feel about this card?

Speaker 5 (09:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (09:05):
You know, honestly, I was so frustrated it took four
keys to get this card, and I mean I was
just pissed off of how annoying this thing was going
at first when they buffed it up to one to
five starting to run some zoo decks. This card actually
has gotten me some cubes, some sneaky little cubes because
you can move it towards the end and they don't

(09:26):
see that coming. A lot of people forget his moveability
even though it's in the text. I mean not a
lot of people probably are playing hydrobob and there's a
good reason for it. You know, unless you're running a
zoo deck, it's not it's not really going to be
your best play line.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
But I actually really enjoy this card. I'm shocked. I
thought I was.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
Gonna as I mean we even talked about it beforehand.
I'm like, this is trash. How is this considered? And
I still don't think this is six thousand tokens worth.
This should not be as expensive as it is. But
I have to say, actually, I've I've gotten a lot
of cues from this thing, and I'm shocked by that.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Yeah, so I have to agree, I'm very surprised by
this card, especially now that it's a one five card
one four. I would kind of agree with you guys
that it's it's not a six thousand dollars dollar a
token card, but now that it's a one five, I'm
just like, it's it's actually up there with what is.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
His name at Man? Right, Like I know ant Man.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Was a I think it's free card. But yeah, we
get that early on, but we don't get too many
one strong one cost cards, and I feel like this
is probably one of the premiere one cost cards. It's
it's like a move card that's not a move card
because in order to move it, it's like you have

(10:48):
to risk it. So it's it's really weird how it's
just like it isn't worth six thousand. I'd probably say
with the changed to it it's worth like five thousand.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Yeah, you know it's it's it's worth that at least
for a new card.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
As for a Tier four card, I think it's a
little bit better than a Tier four card if if
on release, because I believe that.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Uh, let's see, what was the the other card that
we have?

Speaker 1 (11:23):
Uh, you know what, well, I take you back, I
take you back. Out of all the cards released this season,
I think Bob would probably be the uh Tier four
card out of all the other cards, because, uh, the other.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Cards that have been released are.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Way above above Bob. And I don't think we've talked
about Airsham did we? In our last podcast.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
We talked about him, and I was extremely wrong about
the card. Yeah, I think I as a visual for
my great predictions, I claim this was going to be
a purely a meme card that was going to have
no play at any point for anything in this game.

(12:15):
And then you know, the card came out and the
season opened, and basically every single person you were against
was an Airsham deck. Yeah, over and over and over.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
And that's the thing I feel like this card was.
It's good in its own right. I don't think it's broken,
but I think having the twelve cards added into deck.
Granted you have double the amount of deck that you have, right,
but I feel like having those twelve cards that are

(12:53):
very random are bad for the game state, right, Like
your opponent should be able to read a little bit
of what you're you you can do with Ersham, it's
like you do nothing right. You you go into a
game and they're they could basically play none of the

(13:13):
cards that they put in their deck, or they could
play a card that's in their deck and they get
double of right. So it's very uh frustrating to say
the least, because not only does it get an extra
energy every turn, which you know, uh, it's like getting
a free electro. Uh, the downside is very minimal. Where

(13:38):
the downside to cards that give you that extra energy
you know, uh say on turn three, Like I mentioned Electro,
what's the one that discards too, Corpus glave and then
uh you know wave, you know, everything that gives you
something to do on turn three with extra it has

(14:02):
a downside.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
And with Airsham, I feel like, wait, while Blob.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Is relevant, it doesn't really have a big of a
downside to it. So when it was released, you saw
so many people playing it. Now I think it's it's
it's a good card, like I said, but I think
it's bad for this for the continuing state of the game.
So how about yourself to go it?

Speaker 2 (14:29):
How about? What do you think about this card?

Speaker 4 (14:31):
Bro, I've eaten my dad gum words from when we
ended the last one. I'm up.

Speaker 5 (14:36):
Oh this is a fun card.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
I don't really see this playing competitively, man, I was
so wrong. This card is the freaking veane of my existence.
I cannot beat anybody that has it because I cannot,
like you already said, predict what is gonna happen after
turn four. If you don't happen to have priority, you.

Speaker 5 (14:55):
Are screwed with this card.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
My luck on the meta anyways, I know I'll have
the luck than I do, but Lord have mercy. This
card has been absolutely just destroying me. I am in shambles.
I've been ravaged. I'm sick of this card. But then
I've been playing it recently and I kind of like it.
So you know what this card is just It's this
convolusion of just frustration fun and I hate it at

(15:22):
the same time.

Speaker 5 (15:22):
This is a love hate relationship. It needs to be
fixed in some way.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
I don't know how yet, but gosh, this is just
completely ruining the meta for me.

Speaker 5 (15:30):
I'm telling you, I'm getting rocked.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
So with Airsham being so relevant right now, actually know,
I've been seeing some dip in the play for Airsham
because everybody has been running counter Ersham decks, so now
people are running counter to counter Ersham decks. So it
is kind of ruining the meta in that sense. And

(15:57):
I feel like if there was a change, like, don't
kill the card. It is and it's an amazing card
that deserves to have this type of play style. Just
I don't know. You know, they're they're the devs. They
should have seen this coming, you know. It shouldn't be
that everybody has to go get the card in order
to play the meta, right, That's what it felt like, right,

(16:19):
if you weren't playing Airsham, you run encounter Airsham because
you couldn't afford Airsham, right. So and then now it
forced people to get Airsham, right, so they made their money.
Have them do something to level it out, you know.
So the next card that we have.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Is a Jacks. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
So Ajax was released after Hydra Bob and Ajax reads.
It's a five costs seven power. It's an ongoing plus
one power for each card in in play afflicted with
negative power at least are with you decutter.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
How do you feel about this card?

Speaker 4 (17:04):
I think this card has some really fun play lines.
The deck that I ran with him during the weekend
Missions was more of a clog route, utilizing you know,
debris into Hasmatt, also doing a little bit of Doctor
Octopus and some baron Zmo. It was an idea of
like a little bit of disrupt negative toxic and it
was fun. I really enjoyed it. It's again because of Airsham.

(17:28):
It had a lot of counters because people were able
to kind of get things out before I.

Speaker 5 (17:31):
Could get cooking with it.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
If it was a deck that wasn't Arisham, I really
wiped the floor with these people.

Speaker 5 (17:37):
Its fun, man, I like this card.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
I think it's still missing a piece that I don't
have yet, but yeah, I think that this is actually
a lot more enjoyable. It's not great, but it's definitely
an enjoyable card if you're running that style of deck.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Okay, how about yourself done?

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Look, I think this is a really fun card. I
think when I was playing for the weekend missions and
just doing some general stuff, you know, it fits well
into a couple of different types of decks, like a
high EVO abomination build, right, and it's fun. I think
the big problem with this card is you literally have

(18:17):
one card that just makes it useless. And so the
fact that Luke Cage just completely makes this whole, I mean,
the entire type of deck, like the giving people negative
power deck, It makes it, you know, mute, right. I
think that's a big problem with why you probably don't

(18:37):
see as much AJAX play right now, you know, because
like it's fun to play. It's fun to just go
be like, oh, let's just reduce your power, reduce your power,
reduce your power. But when they can just put one
card down and just ruin your whole day, you know,
it kind of sucks. So part of me hopes that
they take the Luke Cage and fix him a little bit,

(19:01):
just because like him being able to just make it
so zero things get changed to him just being on
the field in every area. It really kills a style.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
And I think there was an update to him, but
we'll go over that in a bit. But yeah, I
feel this card, it was a good addition to the game.
Uh there, Like like Don and Dakota mentioned, there wasn't
too many decks you could play with him. It was
either a clog Hasmat deck that did really well or

(19:32):
it was the high Evo Abomination route. And you know,
for me, those two decks weren't really my play style.
So when the weekend missions came up, I just you know,
hopped into Conquest and got those done. And I don't
ever see myself playing that type of meta, you know,
knock on wood. I might, I might change my mind,

(19:54):
but I really enjoy you know, decks that have very
a lot of different play lines, stuff that you could
kind of like juke your opponents. But I feel like
with Ajax you have to play him on turn five
for him to be useful, or a Sarah turn five.

(20:16):
That way you could play Ajax has Matt and another
card you know with it, but or you know, play
magic to have a turn seven where you could play
Ajax and uh has Matt on the same turn. But
like what Don said with Luke Kate Cage being like

(20:36):
a one card counter, if you draw that, you snap,
you know, you see a person clogging your lane and
starting to hit you at negative power and you're like, okay,
well I just gotta draw my Luke Cage and then
you know they're sol because what they need, if what
they want to power up Ajax, is they want their
cards to stay negative. So a deck that runs Ajax doesn't.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Run Luke Cage.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
So I mean, if they do, they're they're definitely countering themselves. Right,
So it's very, uh, a weird play style where you
if you are running Hasmat in most decks, you are
running Luke Cage, so you negative everything, but yours do
stay you know, positive.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
So but with Ajax, it's completely the opposite way to play.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Really cool card. Hope hope it gets more support. Hope
we see more negative power kind of plays that we
could do. But uh, like I said, not my play style.
So the next card that came out was a copycat.
Now copycat is when it's a three cost five power.

(21:52):
When you draw this card, steal the text from the
bottom card of your opponent's deck. Now let me start
with you done.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
Do you feel about this card?

Speaker 3 (22:03):
I think it's another interesting type of card, right, So,
being able to steal from the bottom honestly, like when
this was played against me, I kept forgetting sometimes that
they were stealing from my deck. Yeah, and I'd have
a card pop up, you know, because we're enough draws
and I'm like, why is it this card working?

Speaker 5 (22:24):
Right?

Speaker 3 (22:24):
And then I'm like, oh, yeah, they copied my card. Okay,
well here I like this card. It's kind of one
of those interesting like it stops what they do. It
also gives you a play line that maybe weren't expecting,
So it gives you just a little bit more ability.
I mean, like, let's say you're playing against a hell

(22:47):
A deck, right, all of a sudden, Hell's at the
very bottom. You stole their Hella. There's a really interesting
effect that can happen with this card.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Okay, how about yourself, Dakota.

Speaker 5 (22:59):
Yeah, this one is a really good disrupt card.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Sorry, you want to.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
Deck the one where you can just the mill decks?
Oh my gosh, this card is freaking cracked with that one.
Uh yeah, it's fun.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Okay, Sorry, I just wanted to interrupt really quick. Your
enchiladas back, Okay, cool, So I'll go ahead and speak
about this, uh while Dakota checks on his entilves.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
So this card is very interesting.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
It is another surfer support card that you could add
into a surfer deck, which I don't know. I'm not
I'm not getting tired of them, but it just feels like,
you know, it's it's really cool that surfer has so
much support, right, and this is just another card. I mean,

(23:51):
but this card, it's more right you could add into
another deck, and it's really cool because, like you mentioned,
it shows you information about your opponent's sack, which they
don't know you. I mean, they know you took something.
I think you're able to see them take something, right,
if I'm not mistaken, like you see them draw uh, copycat.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
I'm pretty sure you see them at the very beginning
if you're paying attention, which I don't always.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
Okay, yeah, I mean I think we good.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
I'm good, baby, I'll put a picture up on our story.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
O gosh, yeah, of course.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Now I was saying that I don't know if you're
able to see the animation when they draw.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Copycat or because Copycat's.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
Ability goes off when the person that has it draws it, right,
So I don't know if that effect is shown to
the opponent. But it's not, it's not okay, it's only
when it's played right, Okay. Yeah, So what's cool about
copycat is because it's not shown to the opponent, you

(25:08):
know something that they don't know, right, which is what's
at the bottom of their deck. So there have been
times where it's like, okay, you know, you're you know,
you're playing against a surfer deck or don you mentioned
like Hella, you know, you take it, and you're just like, ah,
they're not going to draw their surfer, right or they're Hella,
and then they don't know that and they're like, oh,

(25:28):
you know, let me snap this guy, because you know,
if I just draw Surfer, I'm gonna win that. Little
do they know even if they do draw Surfer or Hella,
you know it's not gonna work.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
So it's a really cool.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Card to get information on your opponent and to know basically, oh,
what they're running and are you able to stay in right.
If it's one of their key cards, then you're just like, Okay, cool,
I have a chance.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
Now.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
If it's a supporting card where it's like okay, they
could probably play without this, then you're just like well,
or if it's like a generic card, then you're just like,
I don't know what they're running or if you're playing Airsham,
you just you know run. So it's a really cool
card for that, and I'm glad you know they're they're

(26:20):
still thinking of some ways to basically make each character
kind of unique, right when they they're not just like, Okay,
well this card or this character has kind of like
the same powers of mystique, so we'll have it do
what mystique does, you know, so kind of like the
Guardian's cards. But so let's go back to you, Dakota.

(26:45):
How do you feel? What are your thoughts on this card?

Speaker 5 (26:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (26:50):
So, like I was saying, this thing is it's really
fun when you're doing disrupt like you said, having that
leg up, knowing what is at the bottom of their
deck and then all your play line actually is in
my hand. You're never gonna be able to pull that
one off. I got you. You have that ability to
just snap off the rip and get some cubes early,
because when it comes to turn five and they're starting
to say, okay, it's not here, Okay, I got a bounce.

(27:12):
You're gonna get that too easily confident beforehand because they
got everything else, they're gonna get four. So I think
this card just just on the knowledge alone of what
you can do is pretty insane. But when you get
it played on you, man, because you happen to be
running a deck that has say, a liath in it,
and now they got a three cost a liath coming
at you and you were not prepared for. Man, that

(27:34):
feels bad. Bro this card against me.

Speaker 5 (27:38):
I do not like it. When I have it in
my hand, I'm like, haha, bitch, I got you.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
So it's like, man, it's a fun card, but again,
it kind of goes to the same realm of airsham
for me, where it's like, man, I have to account
for how many things could go wrong?

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (27:53):
Does this card happen to be in this deck?

Speaker 5 (27:55):
I don't know. Now I'm thinking, okay, what if.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
There's a three cost a doct doc to put right now?
What if it's because there's so many things you have
to account for that it really puts you on your
toes and it can be a lot more frustrating than
anything else. I could see them trying to do something
about nerfing this card in some way. I don't really
know how to be honest, but I could totally see
them trying to do something here because.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
Just that that.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
Play line, maybe they put it up one more cost.
I could see them making it a four just because Okay,
now there's another one in the in the surfer build.
There's another one that I could see that happening. That's
just on my side of the world, because this card
has ruined.

Speaker 5 (28:34):
Me many times.

Speaker 4 (28:35):
I don't know if it's just me because I have
that roll the dice this season where everything is just
fucking me over. So I don't know, but I'm just
gonna make that very simple and a lot of them.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
I mean, I feel like maybe not upping the cost,
maybe lowering the power.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
They could probably do good idea.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Yeah, three five is pretty generic, so if they lower it,
then it's going to be below the threshold of normal
kind of three costs. But you know, like you mentioned earlier,
it could take an aliath, but it also could take
you know, a bob.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Right, you know, an hydrobob.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
And you know, the fact is great when you know
how to use it, but it's not always going to
be usable. So I've had my copycat copy mystique before
and I wasn't running any ongoing, so it's it's like,
you know, it's a toss of a coin, and like
you said, against Ersham, you might take something that is

(29:32):
not even in their.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Deck, So how would they don't even care about it?

Speaker 1 (29:37):
You know, So it's like a dead card in your
hands sometimes. But I feel like when it because it
could be a dead card, I feel like that's why
they gave it the three five power. You know, at
least if you play it, you know, in a surfer deck,
it actually holds some value. It goes up to three seven,

(29:57):
so I can see where it is. But if they
bring it down to three four three three, I could
under totally understand that too. So the next card that
we have on the docket is actually that was the
last card, but the most recent card that.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Was what are you laughing?

Speaker 5 (30:16):
The docket got me.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
The next card that we have that you know, we've
all everybody has been trying to obtain. Let's start, Well,
it's Cassandra Nova. You know, no drum roll, but it's
only obtained right now in Deadpooled Deadpool's Diner. And so

(30:40):
Deadpool's Diner is, you know, a very quick summation of
the game mode. It's a new game mode where you uh,
basically wager what's called bubbs. It's the currency in the thing.
I don't think you can go below a certain amount anymore.
They patched that. But you have to accrue fifteen million

(31:04):
bubs to get Cassandra Nova, and you know, five hundred
million bubs in order to get the variant, and you know,
in between there in between these points, these checkpoints, there
are other checkpoints that level you up in what's called
the bub mart, which you could buy bubs for money

(31:28):
or and the amount of bubbs you get for your money,
and the refill how much the cap that you refill.
So at the very start, you cap like very small
amount of bubs, like I don't know, I'm just gonna
take a number and swing in the dark, like a
thousand bubs. And then after you reach a certain level
of bubbs, your your cap will be set to like

(31:55):
sixty thousand bubs, right, and then the top one your
cap is thirty million bubs. So every time you reach
these checkpoints, these bub mark checkpoints, not only is your
cap increasing, but the number of bubs that you replenish
increases every and you it increases, it replenishes every hour,

(32:19):
So you're not gonna get the full amount of bubbs
but like at thirty million, I think the top one.
At the thirty million mark, you you could only hold
like thirty million, and every hour you accrue like six
million bubs or something like that.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
So it's something.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Like that, and each step of the way you know
that that's how you're supposed to like level up right
your your your shop, and it's a cool you know.
I was very frustrated the first day. And I don't
know why I always do this because I know the
event is two weeks.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
Long, right, I'm like, oh, two weeks.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
But of course you see these content creators and they're like, oh,
I got it.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
On the first day.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
I got it on the first day. But I also
have to remember they spent money to get it on
the first day. Like they're great players, don't get me wrong,
but they have gambled all their bubbs away before and
they didn't wait the hour. I know that because you
know their content creators. They are like, no, I need
to be the person that gets this first so that

(33:25):
I could show everybody that and this is my type
of content, right, So I some of them spent probably
one hundred dollars just to get Cassandra Nova, you know,
on the first day, which is insane, and I personally,
you know, let me let me Actually, you know, I

(33:45):
don't want to keep talking about my experience. I want
to talk to you guys too. So how have been
your experience in Deadpool Diner?

Speaker 2 (33:55):
And let's start what you decode?

Speaker 1 (33:56):
I know, I know, Dakota is still on the ladder
right now, so we're like, you know, he's in the
he's in the middle of ladder, bubbs and conquest right now,
so he has like three game modes.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
He's going like.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
Hard at but uh, how's your been your experience been
in Deadpool's diner?

Speaker 5 (34:17):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (34:18):
So, uh, the diner is wicked fun even though it's
so stressful because you're like, oh my gosh, my bubs,
like dude, just being able to hop in there and
you got that intensity of like, okay, oh that the
next one bam bam bam, watching these things increase, and
you're over here going okay, You're like you're going in

(34:39):
calculation mode. You're you're definitely taking the game experience to
the next level. The ability to just get things for
free as you just played the game with my stakes
b this game is wild. I don't gamble in real life,
I don't spend money on stuff outside of this game,
and I see how addicting this is. I'm like, man,
I'm over here like black black Jack sound kind of.

(35:02):
This game is just really heightened all the things that
I've enjoyed about as in this season. And because I've
met that extreme of how much I'm happy, I'm also
in the extreme and how much I'm.

Speaker 5 (35:15):
Mad because that's so freaking pissed this season. It's stick
in my hand.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
But because like I said, I'm so glad I'm climbing, gentlemen,
I'm fighting.

Speaker 5 (35:23):
From life out here.

Speaker 4 (35:25):
But Debul's Diner is dope. Man like this, this is
a really fun game experience. And for me to just
come in this last weekend i had work. I really
wasn't able to play much on the diner because I
was so focused on everything else just in general life.
My game time has been very minimal compared to what
you know, I'd liked it to be, man being able
to hop on Really today I did my bulk of
the climb and I'm finally in the millions, like I'm

(35:47):
going for it, and it's like this is fun, this
is actually enjoyable. The idea of like when you lose
your bubbs, how they can reoccrue within an hour. Like
you mentioned, that's a really awesome game design.

Speaker 5 (35:57):
I like that. I very much like that.

Speaker 4 (35:59):
At first, I was saying, hey, it should have never
dropped this flow, why would I have to wait? But
after just a couple of games, really diving into it,
focusing on your play lines, bro, you can actually kind
of climb quickly.

Speaker 5 (36:11):
So I'm hoping to get.

Speaker 4 (36:11):
Cassandra soon here. But man, I'm really enjoying this card,
not card, I'm really enjoying this game style.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
Yeah, I just want to add to that where you
were saying that, Uh.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Yeah, I forgot what you said. Yeah, no, no, you were.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
You were saying something very good, and I wanted to
add to that, but it kind of escaped me because
I was thinking, you know, you're you're praising the this
car this oh uh, basically the timer right. So it
kind of reminds me of a lot of these mobile
games where, like, you know, they give you a certain
amount of play tokens, Right, you could play this level

(36:54):
for like eight tokens, but you only have you only
a crew like one hundred tokens, or like the day right,
and then after you use it, you have to replenish them.
It reminds me of that. But the bonus is you
can't you can't fall under a certain amount, so you
could consistently play this mode, which is I mean this

(37:16):
game already you could consistently play like the Ladder or Conquest,
but this mode where they're they're offering like free stuff
on this you know rewards Ladder, you can consistently earn
bubbs for you to uh just you know.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Free stuff.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
And it's it's a really like you said, it's a
really great concept that they they came up with. It
wasn't It wasn't great when it first came out, but
you know, they've made changes to it. I'm not as
frustrated anymore. I'm very happy. My blood pressure is nice.

Speaker 5 (37:49):
And low, you know.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
But you know, I definitely, like I said that, that
first couple of days, I was just like, no, you know,
like I've got to wait an hour for its replenish.
You know that there were times where I was just.

Speaker 2 (38:03):
Like should I be spending money in this?

Speaker 1 (38:05):
And I promise you guys, you don't have to, you know,
stick with it. Be smart when you play you really
don't have to spend money. Like I said, the content
creators do it because they want to get the card first.
They could play it on the ladder. They could show, hey,
look I got this. You know you don't have it yet.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
I do.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
So I'm gonna go to Don because he's I know
he's he's very close in finishing his ladders, which is
very exciting. So how has Deadpool Diner been for.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
You, Matt?

Speaker 3 (38:38):
I think this is one of the coolest things I've
actually done, and I think it works in a couple
of ways. There was no card this week, right, other
than this card, which means that I didn't have to
spend my keys. I can accumulate another key ready for
next month, right, yes, but I'm also getting a new

(38:59):
card this month. Where are this week? Which is great? Right?

Speaker 2 (39:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (39:03):
You know yeah. Do I have to go earn it?
Do I have to play through it? Yeah? Of course.
But you know what, I kind of like that, especially
with the idea of like, okay, yeah, I'm gambling. So
there were days where like you're just going to go up.
I think the first day I was at like four
hundred K, but then the next day I just got

(39:23):
rocked game after game after game, So it was kind
of this kind of up and down ebb and flow
of this whole process. You know, for me as a
more casual sometimes player, like I just wanted to get
the card. I'm not worried about getting to the fifty
million or the five hundred million. Sorry, but also like

(39:45):
you get a little bit closer than you realize. Hey,
it's not that hard to get that five hundred million,
you know it just a couple of wins and you're there.
The last thing I really want to mention is this
game mode has really shown a lot about the community.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Right.

Speaker 3 (40:00):
If you have players out there who are just donating bubbs, right,
they're going in, they're like, hey, they have their the avatar, right,
They're like, hey, fist bump, Hey I'm losing, right, And
they're literally just going out there and be like, hey,
you get the car too, go get it right. I

(40:23):
love that now, Don't get me wrong. Every time there's
some great people, there's one or two people who are
out there trying to gain the system, right, but you
know what, if you're paying attention to how that all goes,
it's amazing, Like and the fact that people will play
this game just to help other people kind of get up,

(40:44):
you know, and that's just before the Alliance thing all
kicked off. You know. I think that it just says
a lot about the community and the quality of players
that are out there.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Yeah, I agree, you know, like everybody deserves deserves a
free card, right, especially like you mentioned on there wasn't
a card released this week, so for us to be
able to obtain a card like this, I hope they
bring something like this back. Because grinding for those keys
every week, you know, it's it would be cool if

(41:19):
it was possible for you to get car four keys
every week. It is not right without spending money and
getting extremely lucky, there is no way to stay collection
complete long, you know. So it's cool that they actually
introduce this mode where it's like, oh yeah, you can't

(41:40):
obtain the card, grind, just grind and you can get
the card.

Speaker 2 (41:47):
Hey, save that key.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
You know.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
I will put some fire variants in the spotlight.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
But you know, if you want to use those keys,
use those keys. You don't have to.

Speaker 1 (42:01):
I did, but you know, it was it was a
fire variant, so and lucky I got the variant I
wanted on one.

Speaker 5 (42:10):
But yeah, yeah, God is good. It was.

Speaker 1 (42:16):
It's an amazing way for Second Dinner to have their
cake and eat it too. Right. It's just like you know,
you you have fire variants that people will spend keys on,
so that means that's more money in your pocket. But
you're also rewarding them by giving them, you know, free card,
free variants and all that stuff. So it's very cool

(42:38):
that they're looking into different ways of expanding their.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
Their player base.

Speaker 1 (42:45):
Right, because some people might see this like, oh yeah,
Second Inner only cares about themselves, Like hey, hey, I
can speak for a Deadpool's Diner that it did give
us a free card and not a bad card, really
good card. We'll get into it and a bit. Some
might call it the Arisham Killer, so we'll get to

(43:06):
that in a bit. But any last last remarks on
Deadpool's Diner.

Speaker 4 (43:13):
For sure, I just want to double down that I
really hope that Deadpool's Diner doesn't go away. This idea
of being able to add a little bit of spice
to every season, to be able to get a card
for free, to be able to get free bundle type
of stuff with your borders and everything else, this makes
the game much more enjoyable and you can see that

(43:36):
in the comments alone on its social media's.

Speaker 5 (43:39):
People are excited about it.

Speaker 4 (43:40):
Like you said, the first day was frustrating and it
was annoying, but as you play, dude, watching the comments
change was awesome. Thing to see is healthy for the
game community as well. This gives the game a lot
more life. And yeah, I really hope that they continue
to do stuff like this in the future.

Speaker 1 (43:58):
Yeah, and like to reiterate what Don said, like the
community after obtaining the card, giving back to the other
players in the community. Because the other the other thing
about Deadpool Designer is the top one hundred people worldwide
who accrue the most amount of bubbs gets a title
of best Bubbs.

Speaker 2 (44:20):
Which is cool. You know, it's cool.

Speaker 1 (44:22):
You know, you could say I grinded this mode mode out,
but for people that it's not that it's not reachable, right,
I just want to get Cassandra over, which is five
hundred million, Like there's people grinding billions of bubbs just
to get that. And you know, people are like, I'm
not gonna grind that much. I'm gonna give back. So

(44:42):
every time I see somebody I, like Don said, I will,
I will snap, I will say I'm losing. Typically they
use the Cassandra Nova avatar, you know, just to let
you know, hey, I obtained it already. So but you know,
like Don said, some are gaming the system. Some are
putting on that abvage. They're saying I'm losing. Start to

(45:02):
play their best, right, so keep your you know, stay
on your toes. If it's a real Donator, they won't
play a thing. They won't play a thing, and they
will snap. They will say I'm losing. So just be
aware of that. So yeah, really cool game mode. I hope,
I hope they If they don't keep it around, they
they do another game mode that's kind of similar. Right,

(45:24):
they stay on this track of like, hey, at least
one time a month will get will you get a
chance to earn a free card?

Speaker 2 (45:32):
Right?

Speaker 1 (45:33):
Because uh, like don mentioned week one we had two cards,
you know, we and then every other week until.

Speaker 2 (45:41):
This week we had a new card.

Speaker 1 (45:43):
So give us the opportunity to get at least one
free card. It makes it feel attainable. So so, uh,
really quick, I want to go into the ota that happened,
you know, I'm just gonna uh uh mention it really quick.
I know we posted on our Instagram Instagram about it

(46:04):
Cube the Marvel Snap podcast on Instagram. So I just
want I'm just gonna read this really fast. I know
you want to get under a certain time. So the
blob got changed where it can be moved now. Hit
Monkey got one more power. He switched from a three
to two to three. Three Bob like you mentioned before,

(46:26):
changed from a one four to a one five. Lockjaw
change from a four to five to a four to four.
It lost one power, but it could you be used
as many times as possible in a turn. Now, mocking
Bird went from a five to nine to a six
' ten. Ravona Renslayer went from a two two two

(46:51):
three to a two to two, so she lost one power.
Sauron went from a three to three to a three four,
so he gained one power, and Viper changed from one
on reveal one of your other cards here switches sides.
It's not random anymore, it's the lowest power card switches sides,

(47:12):
keeps and she stays out of three five. Werewolf went
from a three. Werewolf by Night went from a three
to one to a three two. So that was the
ot A of July eighteenth just real quick, I want
to ask you guys, what's the for you? Guys, what's
the major change on this Ota?

Speaker 2 (47:33):
For you? Let me go ahead and ask start with you, Dakota.

Speaker 4 (47:37):
I think the blob getting it's ongoing removed. I know
that they were trying to make it an initially so
that the card wouldn't be able to be picked up
by mystique, because that was an issue with airstrom dex.
You could do blob the freaking throwout mystique, and then
you could even if you.

Speaker 5 (47:54):
Wanted to throw on abs. Man, it's a wild thing.

Speaker 4 (47:59):
So the one thing I'm frustrated about is the whole
idea of the blob is he can't be moved. I
think they need to change the text a little bit there.
They don't have to make it ongoing. They can just
make it so it's, you know, still comically accurate. Besides that,
that's that's my only gripe I had with everything else.

Speaker 5 (48:16):
That's about it.

Speaker 1 (48:16):
Yeah, okay, so how about you done? What was the
major change for you for this Ota?

Speaker 5 (48:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (48:22):
I mean I think that really hits it on the nose.
It really was one of those things where all of
a sudden and weirdly enough, how did we not know
this so long ago, that this this had the ability
to do that, that mystique could just do this to
this card. I mean, I feel like we discovered it
this season. But anyways, I think it's it's been nice

(48:48):
to see them try to adjust the little things, right,
so they see that hit Monkey has been played that
much recently, so let's kind of shift that out make
him a little more viable. I like that they kind
of took some of the power off since we started
seeing so much more of Ravona red Flayer right she

(49:09):
was going and being played quite a bit. In fact,
I've played her a heck of a lot this season,
but having her lose a power was nice. Apparently saw
Ron stole that power from her and you know, absorbed it.
So let's see if I could say anything else to
keep Mark having to type in.

Speaker 5 (49:32):
Let's talk about so.

Speaker 3 (49:39):
Overall, like, I don't think anything was huge changes. I
do definitely think that they need to see if they
can make the blob not move again without making ongoing
and I don't think that would be too difficult.

Speaker 1 (49:52):
Okay, Well, for me, I feel like the the the
the bigger change of this oti was Viper Like, they
made her viable in the greatest sense where you didn't
know what her identity was in the game. You knew
you wanted to send over a negative card, right, but

(50:14):
if you didn't get her on turn three to play her,
then you're just like, well, you know, do I play
on my hooded lane?

Speaker 2 (50:22):
Do I play on my what is it? Centuries? Void lane?
You know where do I play? Right?

Speaker 1 (50:31):
So now with the change to her already switching over
the lowest power card, I feel like it makes her
viable again where she's like, Okay, I can include her
and I could play her at any point of the
game and I don't have to worry about it, where
she's a threat on turn six. Now where it's just like, okay,
I don't only have to what is it annihilist? You

(50:55):
have to worry about Viper now? So I feel like them, Buffy, Uh,
just rewording this text makes her so much more viable
in the game or in the deck that she's meant
to be run in.

Speaker 2 (51:08):
So I think she was.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
She was definitely a winner in this ota. Now there
was an ota today, but I haven't actually seen the
post on it, but I have seen it on the discord,
so I'm gonna go ahead and read it from the
discord and then we'll go over it. So their balance

(51:33):
was Uatu, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (51:35):
Let me.

Speaker 1 (51:36):
I'm just gonna check if it's live right now. So
Uatu can actually see all lanes now, so okay, So
it does say at the start of the game, shows
you unrevealed location, see you, So it shows you the
two unrevealed ones. Now Moonnight he discards a card with

(51:56):
even costs from each player's hand. So it's cool because
I was actually playing against a discard card, a discard
deck that was running Moonnight, and when he played Moonnight,
it targeted his Apocalypse. It targeted his his swarms because

(52:18):
they're both a six cost and a two cost respectively,
so they're even. So it targets even cards, which is
it's an amazing effect change to it because it's targeted
now and it also targets the opponents even cards.

Speaker 2 (52:31):
Now.

Speaker 1 (52:31):
I was playing a surfer deck, so when I had
all thre's in my hand, it didn't discard anything.

Speaker 2 (52:38):
It was amazing.

Speaker 1 (52:41):
So this change was really cool because now it could
be targeted. You could know ahead of time, like okay,
it could discard these discard or that card. So I
think discard having that targeted effect makes it even better
shadow King he has no text change, but setting no

(53:06):
longer considered raising or lowering power. So the interaction with
Luke Cage is not viable anymore for shadow King because
when shadow King sets the card to its original base power,
it's not considered lowering, it's not considered raising. It's just
gonna do whatever the base power is. Blink, the old

(53:34):
card would swap the last card you played with a
higher cost card from the deck. Now it says, swap
the last card you played with a card that costs
more from your deck. What they meant there was basically
Blink wasn't taking into account cards like Fastos right. Fastos

(53:56):
has the ability to discount a card in your deck. Now,
when say you play a kill Monger, which is a
three cost, and you play Blink and it switches, it
has to switch to a card that's either four or higher.

(54:17):
And say a card a card in your deck, Let's say, uh,
what's a four cost card? Typhoid Mary was discounted by
Fastos to make a three power a three cost card.
It can no longer swap because in the deck. It's
a three costs not four, so it has to swap
with something that is higher. So that's another change they

(54:39):
wanted for Blink.

Speaker 2 (54:43):
Let's see.

Speaker 1 (54:44):
Uh. I think that's it, so that everything else was
just text changes. I think the biggest the biggest one
for me here is the Shadow King change. But how
about you guys, let's start with you done.

Speaker 3 (55:03):
Yeah, I think it's interesting watching and seeing that Blink situation, right. I.
I actually haven't played this card in a little while,
but it sounds like it was being utilized to I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
Yeah, I don't know if it was like broken in
that sense, but I just feel like because you discounted
the card already, they felt like, hey, it shouldn't get replaced,
right Yeah.

Speaker 3 (55:35):
Yeah, these being so new, I think it's just gonna
be seeing how they all play out. I think being
able to see with a lot too all the things
make I mean, I'm still not going to play that card,
but at least you can see everything. Yeah, I think
it's gonna be interesting.

Speaker 2 (55:54):
How about yourself? To God, who do you think is
a big winner in this ota?

Speaker 5 (55:59):
For sure?

Speaker 4 (55:59):
Moon and I I think that the discard decks have
kind of been hit or miss, you know, for a while,
they just they kind of taking a little back seat there.
They really haven't been out there in the limelight and
having a little bit more control on what you're gonna
be discarding.

Speaker 5 (56:17):
That is awesome. That's really awesome.

Speaker 4 (56:20):
I think that that kind of makes it a lot
more of a viable deck that can just be competitive.
So I like that one the most. I love Blink.
That's one of my like last season that was like
probably my MVP. I got to play with her a
few times just because Airsham showed up, and again he
runs smooth, and I think it's it's good that she's

(56:42):
they kept her in check so she's not gonna be
op So yeah, I like it.

Speaker 1 (56:45):
Okay, So uh, the last card I want to talk
about is the one uh I was we were talking
about earlier. Was was is Cassandranova. So she is a
three three costs one power card and it's an on
revealed card. Steal one power from each card in your
opponent's deck. Now, this is probably the Airsham killer if

(57:09):
I've ever seen one, because Ersham runs, of course twenty
four cards in its deck, draws three cards, draws another
three cards until turn three, so draw six cards out
of twenty four. That means if you play Cassandra on
turn three, you're getting plus eighteen power. Do they do

(57:29):
that math right?

Speaker 2 (57:30):
I did? I think I did.

Speaker 1 (57:35):
Probably seventeen because you draw one, you draw one card
on turn one, that's right, so you have four. So yeah,
you get plus seventeen power if you play on turn
three against the Ersham deck. That's not to say if
they're playing what is it thanos in the Ersham deck,
which you know I've seen it just just you know,
we've done it just to have fun, but.

Speaker 2 (57:57):
Imagine like it's insane.

Speaker 1 (58:01):
Now it's it's very funny that when you do put
into a deck you don't see any airsham.

Speaker 2 (58:07):
But that's besides the point, right, So let me start
with you. You don how do you feel or yeah,
how do you feel about this card?

Speaker 5 (58:15):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (58:16):
Obviously airsham has been plaguing so many people for so long,
So having this plus STARKWK, I think it makes a
big difference in kind of seeing that go out of
the meta where you don't necessarily have to nerve that
card the way it probably should have been nerved earlier.
But this balances all that out. Plus, like we've gone

(58:39):
over so many times, the way you got this card
was so much better than what we've gotten in a
very very long time. So overall, I just I think
it's a fun card that's going to fit into so
many decks to just have a good time. I mean,
you can play this with Ajax, like we talked earlier.
I mean, there's not a deck this doesn't fit at

(59:01):
least a little bit in there, because we know how
many games we've lost by one point. Yeah, this definitely.
I mean, even if you're playing it on a regular
three turn, right, it's gonna be a three six three that.

Speaker 1 (59:19):
Uh so if it's a typical twelve card deck on
turn and you draw four on turn one, five six,
you'll gain six power on turn three.

Speaker 3 (59:29):
Yeah, So I mean at three six seven is nice?

Speaker 2 (59:33):
Yeah, at three.

Speaker 3 (59:34):
Seven and you Yeah, and you know that every one
of their cards is going to be a discount. Like
playing this versus Scorpion on two or even playing those
two together right now, you're starting to reduce their power
a lot.

Speaker 1 (59:51):
Yeah, And I can only imagine like if they didn't
get their deadpooll on turn one two or three and
you play Cassandra Nova, you can't double zero. So so
how about yourself to go to How do you feel
about this card?

Speaker 5 (01:00:08):
I want it, I don't have it yet.

Speaker 4 (01:00:10):
This is one that it looks, I mean, have had
to get played on me, and unless it's the Airsham deck,
it's not.

Speaker 5 (01:00:17):
It's not crazy overpowered. But you know, it also has
some benefits.

Speaker 4 (01:00:21):
If I'm running stuff, there's a lot of ten costs,
there's ten power, and now I get hit with this,
I'm like, okay, cool. So Shang Cheese is not going
to be doing anything to these nines. That's kind of
cool actually, So it's it's interesting how it runs. I
think that it's also funny. It's timing. Granted, you know
when Loki was out in Loki season, Mobias showed up
at the end. Okay, yeah, Airsham is not in the

(01:00:43):
same season, but coming towards the end of ours. You know,
if you look at them the way the weeks are,
I think it's kind of an interesting, interesting way to
be like, Okay, we give you a card that you
can go rampant with and just ruin everyone's lives with.
But here's here's the cure. Sometimes excited to get this car.
It also runs good in the airsham deck. I've seen
you know, I've seen you play at Mark, I've seen

(01:01:04):
Don'd play it, and I think that this is something
that I'm very eager to get, hoping I can get
it soon.

Speaker 5 (01:01:10):
And yeah, that that's pretty much my opinion on.

Speaker 2 (01:01:15):
All Right.

Speaker 1 (01:01:15):
So the last thing before we go, I want to
talk about Alliances was released today and Alliances has is amazing.
We we do have an alliance started, so, uh, you know,
if if you guys are interested in joining the Cubed Alliance,

(01:01:36):
go ahead and uh search up Cubed and message me
on Instagram. It's at gg mark Lee. You know, Mark
Lee is spelled down below here, but you know, add
two g's before it and hit me up on Instagram and.

Speaker 2 (01:01:50):
We'll talk about it. Because we we are looking for
more members and we're looking for more people that.

Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
Are active in our community on our Instagram, you know,
especially on our Instagram, we do post a lot of
Marvel Snap related memes, Marvel memes. You know, Deadpool just
came out, so we're probably gonna make memes on that,
you know, So just if you're following, if you're into memes.
If you want to converse with us, we will be

(01:02:17):
in the Cubed Alliance. So before you know, yeah, before
we you know, end it. What do you guys got
to say about the new alliance function? Let's start with you, Dakota.

Speaker 5 (01:02:30):
Oh Man. Okay, like straight up off the rip.

Speaker 4 (01:02:34):
Something that I think is really cool about this is
the the bounties. That is just really making it exciting
to play Deck. That's like, okay, maybe I don't really
play Discard anymore. Having Moonnight now getting fixed and you're
able to target things.

Speaker 5 (01:02:47):
I want to play some moon Night. Let's get in
this nonsense.

Speaker 4 (01:02:50):
Having these bounties is really bringing more life into the game.

Speaker 5 (01:02:54):
And I think it all.

Speaker 4 (01:02:55):
It's doing is, you know, you were creating more community.
We have a chat within this, we have a system.
We are getting three things by the game. This is
doing nothing benefit the game, and I think that's a
whole wise decision my second dinner. So you know, honestly,
they're they're finally listening to people and doing things that

(01:03:15):
one's been craving for that new game mode, everyone's been craving.
This is combining everything together. I'm pumped about it. I
am very excited.

Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
How about yourself done?

Speaker 3 (01:03:26):
Yeah, I think it's gonna be great that just building
the community, right, so you're gonna start building your own
alliance of guild, team whatever. You know, We're gonna be
building our own group of people. And having the ability
to have chat in the game is gonna be real
super nice. The ability to share decks is actually going

(01:03:46):
to be a lot easier with the chat feature. So
as you're going through, it's like, man, I just can't
break through the season. What's everyone running? You know? I know,
I know my game has gotten so much better just
the three of us sharing. Okay, oh what are you
playing this week? Mark? You know I've become so much

(01:04:08):
better a player just from the three of us. I'm
looking forward to having thirty people that bounced up off
of right, it's gonna be a lot of fun. I
think the bountem like Tata said, it's a great way
to kind of get out of the Oh. Sometimes the
game feels a little mundane. It's stale, like you're just like, well,
I have to finish the missions, so here we go

(01:04:31):
where this is like Okay, go play with these two
cards and win games. So uh yeah, it's a nice
refreshing kind of change of pace.

Speaker 1 (01:04:44):
Yeah, and I feel like it's nice that they limited
it to thirty people. That way, it's not like, Okay,
everyone's in this person's alliance, right, and he's taking everybody
and you know, now, yeah, now you have to be like, okay, well,
who's willing to join mine? Not only that, but you
have to be kind of picky, right, And you know,

(01:05:07):
I'm not saying we're picky, but I'm just gonna say, like,
you know, of course the content creators are going to
be picky because they have a whole community.

Speaker 2 (01:05:16):
So uh, it's.

Speaker 1 (01:05:18):
It's gonna they're they're gonna fill up, you know, the
first hour. They're just like, okay, probably.

Speaker 2 (01:05:23):
Who's subs who's who's who's subbed to me?

Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
The longest, right, I'm gonna give it to them, so
you know, so it's it's it's kind of another way
to for content creators to make money. I guess you
could use it that way. I don't know if they are.
I'm just saying it's it's something. You know, if we
if we had a Patreon, we could it could be
like oh hey, yeah, be added.

Speaker 2 (01:05:43):
To the alliance. You know, it's something that you can monetize.

Speaker 3 (01:05:49):
I do want to say that if anyone wants to
pay me to get into the alliance, I am not
about being bribed. Just I'm throw it out there.

Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
So all right, you get five spots. It's good. I
guess I saw.

Speaker 3 (01:06:05):
Don't tell Mark and Dakota about this because I'm not
splitting the money.

Speaker 1 (01:06:13):
Oh man, so yeah yeah yeah. So like I said,
hit me up on Instagram, uh, or hit us up
on at Cube the Marvel Stot podcast, then you can
get all three of us. But right now, uh, we
all have uh the power to invite people to accept

(01:06:34):
their invite, to reject their invite. I'm not going to
try and reject people, but sometimes you know, if it
comes to a cap, that's that's how they made the game.
So unfortunately, that's how it is. I'm not saying we're
gonna fill up right away. I mean, I think we
have six out of thirty, so we have many many spots.
If you're interested, let us know, we'll talk.

Speaker 2 (01:06:55):
We we do want.

Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
Active people because we want a like Don mentioned, a
community to bounce things off of. And if you enjoy
memes or something like that, it's really cool to talk
to you guys on at Cube the Marvel Snop podcast
on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (01:07:13):
So go ahead and hit us up.

Speaker 1 (01:07:16):
Other than that, thank you guys for you know, sticking
out with us. I know, like I said, we haven't
done this in a in about a month, but we're
gonna try and get better at this. Hopefully we can
do it on a weekly basis and kind of just
do like quick episodes just to keep content going, right,
It doesn't have to be long episodes. I know we
did say it was gonna be quick today for about

(01:07:37):
an hour fifteen right now, so so oh yeah, I
forgot there are drops at the moment.

Speaker 2 (01:07:47):
So yeah, and you know.

Speaker 1 (01:07:48):
It's our fault. We should have been doing this while
the drops were all fresh. But we'll get on it.
So please forgive us for that and hopefully we'll stick
to it. So anything else you guys like to add,
Sorry you Dakota.

Speaker 4 (01:08:02):
Oh yeah, again, just to shout out to those who
have been messaging us and just loving our content. You
guys are awesome. Thank you for allowing us to just
goof off and do this. That's just the fact you
want to hear what we have to say. It means
a lot. I'm really excited for the Alliances. For those
that have joined. Like we've been talking for a while
on the DMS, you guys are dope. I'm super happy

(01:08:22):
to have you a part of this team. I know
that we're just gonna have fun in here, so so
thank you. Thank you for even wanting to come into
this freaking league or alliance with us, like it means
a hell of a lot.

Speaker 5 (01:08:32):
So respect everybody out there. Love you guys, Thank you
for it.

Speaker 2 (01:08:37):
All right, yourself done.

Speaker 5 (01:08:40):
Again.

Speaker 3 (01:08:41):
I just want to reiterate I am not our bribes
now at the end of the day, I really look
forward to this new mode. The Alliances is gonna be awesome.
I know most of the time the people on Instagram,
you're you're talking to Mark, You're talking to Dakota more
often than not. You know, I do look forward to

(01:09:01):
kind of chatting with some of you here and there,
and like I said, I look forward to just how
they're gonna grow and anyone who's just hanging out watching
it's like, we have way too much fun doing some
of this stuff. And the fact that you guys are
enjoying it, we we'd love you to death.

Speaker 2 (01:09:19):
Oh uh.

Speaker 1 (01:09:20):
And before we go, I just want to let you
remind everybody that credits restore every eight hours now, so
you're only going to get twenty five credits per the
eight hours, but in a day you'll get seventy five
credits instead of fifty, so just be aware of that.
Make sure to collect your credits before they expire. Uh

(01:09:41):
and one hits us in about fifteen minutes, so.

Speaker 2 (01:09:44):
We will catch you guys. Thank thank you, and have
a good night. We will catch you guys in the
next episode of Cubed the Move Snap podcast. Say bye
bye and Alliance
