La princesa y el guisante.

Había una vez un príncipe que quería casarse con una princesa, pero tenía que ser una princesa genuina. Para encontrar a esta princesa, viajó por todo el mundo, pero en ningún lugar podía encontrarla.

The princess and the pea. Therewas once a prince who wanted to marry
a princess, but he had tobe a genuine princess to find this princess.
She traveled all over the world,but nowhere could she find her princess.
I knew a lot, but theprince couldn' t be sure they

were real princesses. He always discoveredsomething in them that disgusted him. One
night there was a storm, thunderand lightning, and a torrential rain broke
out. Then someone knocked on thecastle door and the queen went to see
who it was. On the thresholdof the palace a young woman appeared,

but the rain and wind wreaked havocon her appearance. The water was running
through his hair and the dress wasmade of rags.“ I had lost
her jewels and even my shoes requiredlodging, for I am a princess,
” the young woman said in avery airy tone. The Queen doubted that
the young woman possessed some title ofnobility, but said nothing and invited her

to pass. The young woman waitedin the Royal Hall. The Queen headed
for the guest bedroom. He tookoff all the bedding and put a pea
on the mattress. Then he placedtwenty other mattresses on top of the pea
and placed twenty dredons of feathers ontop of the twenty mattresses. Then he

returned to the Royal Hall and,pointing to the Guest bedroom, said you
can sleep in that room. Thenext morning, the Queen and the Prince
asked the young woman how she hadslept. Oh terribly wrong answered the young
woman I could not sleep all night. Only the sky will know what was

in the dor bed above something sohard that I have the body full of
bruises. It was horrible. Nowthey knew she was a real princess because
she had felt the pea through thetwenty mattresses and the twenty dredones. Only
a genuine princess can be so sensitive. That' s how the prince married

As for the pea, it isexhibited in the Museum, where it
must continue if no one has takenit. And this is a true story.
