It is truly, truly would be appreciated. But now that
I have shared it out, gonna get ready to go
into prayer and get ready to go for just one
(04:07):
more second, y'all, got to get one more thing up,
and then we'll be ready to go into praw, ready
to go into prayer, ready to go into prap. On
this morning again, we are day number thirteen, y'all. This
is a twenty one day journey. So y'all, we got
(04:28):
eight more We got eight more days inside of this
particular book. We have eight more days inside of this
particular book. Don't know which book I'm gonna do next,
because I think I have a couple more devotions that
I could share, and then I may switch it up
and do something else. Because all of my work is
(04:49):
inspirational work is everything is inspired by the Holy Spirit,
who is the head of my life. So definitely, so yeah,
that will be getting ready. I want to start us
off with the prayer this morning. They're gonna start us
off with the prid this morning. So, Father God, in
(05:10):
the name of Jesus, Lord, I thank you for this
opportunity here, thank you for this space. I thank you
for this hour. I thank you for this day that
we've never seen before that we will never see again,
Lord God. So Father asked that you will decrease me
in the flesh for a God and allow your spirit
man to come forth on this morning, that I will
share that that you have placed in my heart, Lord God,
and that somebody would be blessed by the things that
(05:31):
have shared on today. Lord God, may may these seeds
fall on furtile ground, that they may be produce fruit,
Lor God and bring you glory. Father. I thank you
because everything that we do should point back to you,
the one that created us, because your word tells us
that all things is possible to you. So Father, we
thank you on this morning. And Father asked that you
(05:51):
will decrease me in the flesh and increase your spirit
man within me. As I go forth on this morning,
and these things are asking your son Jesus name, Amen, Amen,
Amen a man a man a man, and good morning morning,
good morning, good morning, good morning, y'all. Come on in,
come on in, come on in, come on in this morning,
come on in, come on in. Good morning, morning, good morning.
(06:13):
So I'm gonna go ahead and jump in. And the
title for the listen today is courage and silence. We're
gonna be coming out of Isaiah thirty and fifteen. We
gonna be coming out of Isaiah thirty and fifteen. Good morning,
good morning, good morning. We're gonna be coming out of
Isaiah thirty and fifteen. That scripture reads as follow. It's
(06:46):
as God Confortsjudor for taking counsel. I'm sorry. Thirty and fifteen.
Is say, in repentance and rest in your salvation, in quietness,
and trust in your strength. Isaiah thirty and fifteen. It says,
(07:09):
in repentance and rest in your salvation, and quietness and
trust in your strength. So today, when pressures arise in
your instincts, often spread towards the quick fix, new alliance,
(07:30):
more noise, fast answers. Isaiah thirty and fifteen. God confronts
Judahs taking counsel, but not for me and running to Egypt,
but to help instead arrest in him the lesson is timeless.
Realcourage is not frantic. It is formed in quiet trust.
(07:52):
God's way is not the loudest, but it's the surest.
The word of the day is confidence. The definition of
quiet confidence is a subtle strength that rests in God's
counsel and in God's time. Instead of a hurried human solution,
(08:14):
it is a calm, resolved burst from trust. The biblical
roots of this scripture and Isaiah thirty and fifteen is said,
in the quietness hashqut is the confidence that shall be
your strength. Hash Court points to colme, a unagitiated stillness
(08:39):
which springs from trust and securely. And Psalm sixty two
five and eight it says, my soul wastes though only
upon God. He is my rock and my salvation. Isaiah
twenty sixty three and four is said, perfect peace, to
(09:03):
perfect peace, to the mind stayed in God, trust ye
in the Lord forever. And if we go down to
one of our favorite scriptures, y'all that we have been
on every time I open up the word, this one
comes up. Proverbs three and five through five and six.
Proverbs three, five and six. We should know this off
(09:24):
by heart, trusting the Lord with all our heart, lean
not on our own understanding, but know that He will
direct our pastern y'all knowing that if we put our
trust in Him. Putting our trust in him, what is
quiet confidence? It is a posture. It is not hurd inside,
(09:48):
even when circumstances press us. It is a process that
we gotta pray, we gotta listen, we gotta obey at
God's pace. We can't be about our own pace, but
we got to be about God's pace. It is a
power source, the strength that flows from trust and understanding
(10:10):
that all things are possible through Him, and it does
not come from striving. We gotta understand that. Now what
quiet confidence is not. It's not a path. It's not pasitive.
It does not avoid action. It is anchored in the
action of God's word and timing. We can go over
(10:31):
to James two and seventeen. It's not procrastination. It is
waiting on God's purposeful not evasion, and that you can
go over in reference Limitations three, twenty five and twenty six.
It is not about arrogance. It is confidence in the Lord,
not selfishness. You can go down to Jeremiah nine, twenty
(10:55):
three and twenty four. How is quiet thence portrayed. Go
over to Hezekiah spreading the threatening letter before the Lord
in prayer God delivered in Second Kings nineteen verses fourteen
through nineteen. In verse number thirty five. We can go
(11:16):
over to joehassafat stand still and seeing the Lord's salvation
worship leads the battle that Second Chronicles twenty verse twelve.
And then you can go down to verse seventeen and
twenty two. It reflects on that as well. And then
we got to understand Jesus comes the storm after sleeping
(11:37):
in the boat. The peace preceded the power mark four
thirty eight and thirty nine. And then not only that,
it showed in when Mary sit at Jesus' feet choosing
the good part over anxious activity. Go down to Luke
ten thirty nine through forty two. Five things that you
(12:02):
can do to practice and grow your quiet confidence. First
thing is you got to surrender, pray and submit to
God's timeline, his outcome, his reputation to us. The scripture
we get scriptures to reference is one Peter five six
(12:24):
and seven and Philippians for six and seven. Slow your
body to hear from God breathe, pray in hell, be
still exhal knows that I am God. He tells us
that He reminds us that He commands us in Psalms
(12:46):
forty six and ten, this calm and resent us your focus.
Then you got to be anchored in a pacific promise.
Keep one verse in view for the decision season. Example,
you can use Psalms thirty two and eight, Isaiah forty
(13:06):
one and ten, or Psalms sixty two, five and eight.
And then you got to seek to aligne counsel, invite
godly wise voices to speak. Proverbs eleven and fourteen James
three and seventeen confirm do not replace what God is saying,
but confirmed, do not replace what God is saying. Next thing, y'all,
(13:33):
is that we have to obey in small steps. We
have to obey the word quiet. Confidence moves us in
the clear light, not in panic. It moves us into
a clear light. Let's do a heart check. How do
you know if your heart is in the right place.
(13:53):
These are some heart check questions that you can ask yourself,
Because guess what God searches the heart. He attended to
matters of our heart. So here's some heart check questions
that you can ask yourself. Am I Russian because I
fear or responding because of faith? Proverbs twenty nine and
twenty five. It's biblical. It Scripture tells us that go
(14:15):
read that scripture find out for yourself. Second thing, Have
I prayed more than I have pld people? Have I
prayed more than I have ridic cool people? Have I
prayed more than I have criticized people? Go over to
James won and Vine. If the resource I'm leaning on vanish,
(14:36):
would my peace vanish too? Again? If the resource I'm
leaning on vanish, with the peace vanished too? Are you
truly leaning on God? Are you truly trusting God? Or
are you leaning on your own understanding? And you leaning
on your own things and the things of the world
(14:57):
and physical things? Because if those things disappeared, will your
peace vanished too? If you're trusting in Him, it put
out your trust in Him, You'll have perfect peace. I
want to share this with you on today. I want
this to be your declaration for today. I refuse frantic counsel.
(15:23):
I receive God's wisdom and peace. My soul rest in
God alone. He is my rock and my salvation and
the quietness and trust is my strength. I move at
God's pace, not my own. We got to understand that,
speak that over your life today, and I want to
(15:46):
challenge you for the upcoming week. Just establish a daily
five minute quiet confidence window where you can sit down,
read scripture in silence, and pick up one thing that
you can be obedient with. Be obedient. In the next
step track how peace and clarity grow. You gotta take time,
(16:11):
spend it with him so that when you go out
in this world you have something. You have something to
share to see when we put the word in us,
when we have something in us, y'all, when things come
at us, we can learn how to speak that word
and give that word back. Y'all. We can't be out
here empty with nothing to speak, because He's given us
(16:34):
that power. He's given us the power to speak life
or death. If we spend time with him and ask
him these things, ask him to allow the Holy Spirit
to lead God and direct us today, so that when
we things come up, when we're faced with things, because
the Word tells us that we have to be in
this world, but not of this world, so that we
(16:54):
know that we know that things are gonna come. If
you just flip through your Bible. You see all of
the incident, You see all of the experiences, you see
all of the things that has happened. You see all
of this. So we know that things are going to happen.
We also have to understand that He's given us that
word that the Bible is our basic instructions before leaving
(17:17):
this earth. So if we are gone by that God,
no we may not see the miracles are walking on
the water and all of the miracles that we see.
But that does not mean that God is not still
performing miracles, because he is. And I'll tell y'all over
and over and over. We see it every day. We
see it in the healing of individuals that may be
(17:39):
diagnosed with illnesses and we see them recover. We see
individuals that are ballomed with addiction, that are ballooned with
different things that they're able to come out. God is
still working. He's still the same God he was ten
years ago, twenty years ago, a thousand years ago, and
he's going to be that same God today, and he's
(18:01):
going to be that same God tomorrow. But are you
willing to change? Are you willing to align with that
that he's called and purposeuted it because we are the
ones that have to change, because we serve God that
is unchanging. He's never going to change. And he created
us in his image. He fearfully and wonderfully made each
(18:22):
and every one of us, and he said that we
should do greater works, greater works. His word is not
going to return to him Lord again, affirmation for the day.
I find courage in the quiet and trust of God.
You gotta trust him with everything. Counsel without God's create chaos.
(18:48):
What does that mean? Seeking solutions without sidelining God is
not neutrabl It is multiple confusion. This issue isn't console.
It is console not for me Isaya thirty and thirty one.
There are plenty of biblical threads that backstack James Wondering five.
(19:09):
God gives us wisdom literally to those who acts. All
you got to do is acts, he tells us. And
Proverbs sixteen and thirteen. Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thou shall establish you Proverbs nineteen and twenty one.
Many plans exodent, but the Lord's purpose prevail. He is not.
(19:30):
His word is not returning to him void everything that
He's purpose for your life. It shall come to pass.
But y'all, what we get caught up in these are
to These are two common tracks that we face. Speed
over surrender. I must act now because I forget to
ask God. We don't include God and the things that
(19:54):
we're doing. We're out here doing what we want to do,
and then we're saying that we're doing what I know.
Surrender to him and allow him to guide you. Because
speed is speed. Speed is nothing. We want everything microwaves
when all we have to do is surrender. Surrender yourself
(20:18):
only with people who agree with your urgency. Again, we
got to constantly do a heart chat. Did I pray
before I poll others? Does this plan require faith or
simple control? How you can practice this? Build a three
step rhythm, pray, pause, proceed Again, I say, build you
(20:43):
a three step rhythm, pray, pause, proceed. If you can't
get peace, go over to Philippians four six and seven.
You don't have to have a green light anchor yourself
and his word trust him. Misplaced trust lead to shame.
(21:05):
What does this mean? Good resources become bad refuge when
you replace God. You can't replace him. You can't allow
people to be a substitute for God in his word,
just like Egypt. The Egypts looked strong, but was trusting
its shadow. It produced shame and confusion. Go over to
(21:29):
Isaiah thirty and three. Not only that, you can check
out some more descriptions. If you go down to Jeremih
seventeen five and eight. You said, curse is the one
who trust in man. Blessed is the one who trust
in the Lord. Proverbs twenty nine and twenty five. It
said the fear of man brings a snack. Trusting the
Lord brings safety. What are some common tracks? What are
(21:54):
some common traps that we fill to over reliance on
status saving and relationships to guarantee outcomes, measuring self by
measuring success by opticals rather than obedience. How can you
heart check? How can you check your heart on today?
(22:17):
If the resources disciplined with your peace collapse? Ask yourself
that on a constant basis, am I hiding between the
best practice to avoid bold faith and my operating and faith?
And we got to practice this, y'all. Learn how to journal,
learn how to write down things, not only that, reorder
(22:41):
your trust daily. Lord, I use resources, but I trust you.
Even though He's given us these resources, you still got
to put your trust in him. He's given us jobs.
It's just a resource. That job is just a resource
because he's your provider. He's ggyram. So place God's promises
(23:04):
before your plans. Psalms sixty two, five and eight. Y'all,
this is scripture. These are commandments. These are things that
he's told us to do. And understand that strength grows
in stillness. You got to spend that time with him.
A lot of you want to know what does that mean.
(23:25):
God's remedy for franktic living is returning, resting, and quiet confidence.
Stillness is not passive. It is a paused in faith. Biblically,
you can go over to Exodus fourteen and fourteen. It's
that the Lord shall fight for you, and yea shall
hold your peace. Psalms forty six and ten. He reminds
(23:48):
us to be still and know that I am God.
Lmitation three, twenty five and twenty six. It is good
to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Trust
him on today and ha Becca to one in three
is said, watch wait and write the vision. Y'all. These
(24:10):
are commandments. These are things that he's asked us to do.
But we get trapped and these are some of the
common traps. Because we equate noise with progress, business can
be avoidance. Don't get too busy that you forget to
spend time with him, that you forget to reference him,
that you forget that the plans that He has for you,
(24:31):
you said, get your purpose. Abandoning quietness me answers delayed
heart check. Do I leave silence in my day for
God to speak? Do you set aside time so that
He can minister to you, so that He can whisper
in your ears, so that he can answer those prayers
that you've that you've let up. See a lot of
(24:53):
us we pray, and we don't sit, and we don't
listen to what he's saying to us. Yet He's trying
to speak to us, but we all of the place
that we can't hear. So do you have a time,
a silent time where God can truly speak to you?
The second question that you should ask yourself is my
pace set by pressure or by presence? And that's the
(25:17):
presence of the Holy Spirit. Practice this schedule stillness. Schedule stillness,
schedule a time where you can be still, a minute
of silence with scripture, breathing, prayers and Sabbath rhythm, Let
quietness reset your courage. Find you some scriptures that you
(25:39):
can be anchored in. There's a couple that you can
just go in and pick up and apply. Isaiah thirteen
and fifteen, Mark one and thirty five, Isaiah forty and
thirty one. Most importantly, y'all, the things that I'm sharing
with you on today, how can you apply them to
your life today? First, you got a pause before you plan?
(26:03):
How do you do that? The Holy spirit halt, commit
to prayer before committing to a path, asks for wisdom
and wait for peace. Y'all, The twenty four hour rule
for non urgent big decisions. Sleep on it with scripture,
(26:25):
revisit it in the morning, and allow God to speak
to you. Principal check Does this align with God's word?
If not, is it a no? Y'all? If it don't
align with his word, it should be a note. That's
I keep saying. You got to apply it to the
word outed your alliance and your input. How do you
(26:51):
do that? People identify who shape your decision? Keep wise
godly voices, close Verbs eleven and fourteen, and limit console
from the normalized. In the compromise, hu content curate your
media and mentors. What you have repeatedly heard you eventually follow.
(27:16):
You got to stay around some positivity. You got to
allow it to speak to you. And then you got
to build a prayer for partnership. Ask God for covenant connections,
to have a close to close doors to those that
do not align with you. He look, all of this
(27:37):
I'm sharing is scripture. It's in the Word Aimus three
and three. It said, ask God for coveliinent connections and
to close doors to misaligned alliances if they do not align.
Keep on going, keep on pushing, do not stay if
it does not align with the word and the plans
(27:57):
and the purpose that He has for your life. Again,
you got to build rhythm of quiet trust, spend time
with It's five minutes, is it ten minutes? And you
got to practice the Sabbath. You gotta spend time with him.
You got to not only that, y'all incorporate fasting. If
(28:19):
it's only fasting from noise for a half a day. Journal, Journal,
what God highlights in you. Now, He's told us to
write the vision and make it plain. Let me get
out of here, y'all understand this. God rebukes her plans
(28:41):
without him warns against trust and substitutes and invites us
into surprising strength of stillness. Quiet confidence isn't withdrawal, it's
worship under pressure. As we close, I want you to
(29:06):
understand that God is not hurried, he is not like man,
He's not a human crutch. Asks him to teach you
to pause, seek his face and stand in his quietness.
(29:28):
Ask him to creating you a clean heart, to steady
your spirit, and tell yourself that today you will choose
courage in quietness, confidence in his care for you, and
obedience in his word. I pray that He will strengthen
(29:52):
you and that He will provide rest for you on today.
Remember affirmation for today is I find courage in the
quiet and trust of God. I'm gonna share this poem
with you, guys, because every day there's a poem inside
(30:14):
of this journal, in the side of this evotion. At
the end of each lesson, there's a poem. It's only
one stands the four just four lines and then they're
quite simple. And this one reads as followed, and the
soundless come in the hush, strengthen awaits within quiet courage
(30:35):
with gentle rush prepares the heart to win and that's
that piece. Join us back here on tomorrow, y'all day
number fourteen on this twenty one day journey. Tomorrow is
joy in his assurance. We're gonna be coming from Romans
fifteen and thirteen. Come expecting a expecting, fresh hope and
(31:00):
a full heart. Heyma, Father God, in the name of Jesus, Lord,
I thank you for yet another opportunity that we can
come before you, Lord God. Father, I thank you for
this hour. I thank you for this opportunity that we
can come and share. Father, I hope that the things
that you have allowed me to share on today fall
(31:20):
on furtile soil, that the seeds that have been sown
will produce fruit in each and every person's life. Lord God,
those that have hurt me live, and those that will
hear the replay. Father, I asked that you would just
go before us, allow your Holy Spirit to go before us,
to lead God and direct this for God, because your
word tells us that we have to be in this world,
(31:42):
but not of this world. So Father, I thank you
for yet another opportunity that we can come before you,
Lord God, and that we can just acknowledge you, knowing
that we have no power but through you, we have
our power. So Father, I thank you for this time.
I thank you for this platform, and I thank you
for opportunity that I can share your goodness so that
you can be glorified. And Father, I asked that everything
(32:03):
that we do will bring you glory and point back
to you. And that is my prayer and your son
Jesus name, I prayer again. I hope that everyone has
a great Friday. It is Friday, and I hope that
everyone has a great Friday. I pray that you walk
in purpose on purpose, because know that you have purpose,
Know that you did not get dropped out of the sky.
That He strategically placed you here. So now it's time
(32:26):
for you to walk in and to catch up with
your destiny and to walk into that that He has
called and purpose for you. Again, if you would like

Because he has no respectable person. I pray that your

the word of God. Y'all be blessed and know that
I love you. Amen. Amen,
