(00:36):

the devotions that we have been sharing throughout this journey.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Y'all. We are on a Oh my god, We've been
doing this since the end of March.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
So if you've been here with me, joining in with
me since March.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
Thank you for being on this journey with me. And
I hope that you are gaining some insight on the
world and deepening your relationship with the one that created us.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Y'all.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
We didn't get dropped out of the sky. He definitely
have a plan for all of us. So I'm excited, y'all,
every chance I get to be able to come live
and to share God's goodness and to share those things
that He's done for me, that He is doing and
what he shall do, and to encourage my sisters and brothers,
(01:32):
because that's what we're supposed to do. We're supposed to
encourage each other, uplift each other, educating power and encourage.
That's what we're placed here. And my whole desire is
to be that change that I desire to see in
the world. And how can I do that outside of
sharing the Word of God, sharing the one that created me.
(01:52):
So that's what I do, and I thank Him for
this space, y'all. Today we are in day number seventeen
seventeen and the title of our devotion today is Strength
in Times of Need. Strength in Times of Need. We're
(02:12):
gonna be coming out of Isaiah forty one ten on today,
so if you would, if you're coming in, I want
you to enshare. I want you to share this with
someone in your circle of influence. I'm gonna share it
out to a couple of people that follow and support
the things that I do. So I'm gonna share it
out really quick. I'm gonna share it over on Facebook,
(02:36):
and then I'm gonna invite some people that may be
interested in hearing what I have to share on today.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
And y'all, I tell you.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
When he give me these messages. I tell you, I
have to deal with this too before I can even
come before you. I have to deal with this too.
So we have to understand that when we give us something,
it ain't always for us to deliver a message, but
it's always for us to deal with that that it's
on the inside of us too, so that.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
We can make sure that we are aligned with the word.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Cause I keep telling everybody that everything that we do,
it should point.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Back to the one that created us.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
It should point back to God so that he get
glorified and everything that we do. So again, I thank
you guys for joining me for daily devotion.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Y'all.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
We are day number seventeen inside of this devotion. We
are Day number seventeen inside of this devotion. So again,
thank you guys for tuning in and being a part
of this. I'm gonna go ahead and start us off
in prayer and then I'm gonna jump directly on into
the liston. I'm not gonna be before you, loan, but
(03:44):
I'm gonna share what God is placed on my heart, y'all,
where He's placed on my heart to share with you
guys on today based on this lesson, and this devotion
is not to replace the Bible.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
It's only to supplement the Bible. Y'all.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
God is my refuge and my present help. Father God
in the name of Jesus, is what I thank you
for this opportunity. I thank you for this space. I
thank you for yet another day that was not promise me,
Lord God. So Father asks, I come before your people
on this morning. Father asked that you decrease me in
the flesh, Shore God, and allow your spirit man to
rise up on the inside of me, Lord God, that
(04:18):
I will be able to deliver that that you have
for the people on today, Lord Die, allow me to
be able to share from my experience or God, not
from an office, not from a title, but from the
things that I have experienced in what I have read
and come to know of your word.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Lord God. Father, I thank you because you truly didn't
have to.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
You could have took me out in my sining and
then on my bed of affliction, Lord Die, but Father,
you saw fit, you south fit to raise me up
and allow me to share your goodness.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
And for that I.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Give you glory, I give you honor, and I give
you praise. So Father, I asked that you will have
your way during this time that we are alive on
this broadcast, or God, that you will be able to
minister to your people, Lord Die, that you will be
able to drop nuggets in their lives that they can
apply to their lives for God, and that they would
drop deeper to you, Lord God as you draw unto them. Father,
I thank you for yet this day that was not
(05:07):
promised us for God. So Father, I thank you for
this time that we have to take in your word,
so that when we go out to this world, Lord God,
we would be prepared to be able to handle anything
that may rise up against us. For God, Father, I
thank you, and I asked that you will have your
weight during this time and your son.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Jesus' name Amen, A man, A man, a man.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Again, I thank God for each and every one of
you guys that are tuned in. I thank God for
those that will hear the replay. I just thank God
for just having the space to be able to share
his goodness because I remember when I was on my
bed of affliction. I remember when I was pee pewed
at point at point blank rage and the enemy wanted
(05:48):
to take me out. But Lord, I saw how You
was my strength in the time that I needed you,
and you show us over and over in the Bible
examples you give us individuals to go through, to go
through these tests, these trials, and these tribulations show that
they can show us how that we can overcome based
(06:10):
on your word. So Father, we thank you. I thank
you for even thinking to me to allow me this opportunity.
I'm gonna go ahead and dive on into this nest
and on this morning again we're gonna be coming from
Isaiah forty one in ten Isaiah forty one in ten,
and the King James version rees, fear die not, for
(06:33):
I am with THEE. Be not dismayed, For I am
by God. I will strengthen thee. Yay, I will help thee. Yay,
I will uphold THEE with the right hand of my righteousness.
And this comes from the es V version. It say,
fear not, for I am with you. Be not dis maded.
(06:53):
For I am nor God. I will strengthen you, I
will help you, and I will uphold you with the
righteous right hand. Our affirmation for today, if God is
my unfeeling source of strength and support in every situation. Again,
our affirmation for today and I encourage you to speak
this over your life. God is my unfeeling source of
(07:15):
strength and support in every situation. In every situation, we
have to understand that even in seasons when questions outnumber
the answer and strength feels scarce, Isaiah forty speaks with
clarifying authority. This is not a gentle suggestion, but a
(07:36):
decisive declaration from God himself.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Do not fear. I am with you. I am your God.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will
uphold you. And today, let this promise become the steady
cadence beneath everything you face.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
It offers present.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Over panic, identity over insecurity, and divine action over human striving.
As we begin, receive these words as your anchor and
your assignment. While forward with confidence that the God who
names himself your God stands near to fortify, assist, and
(08:23):
sustain you. Let his assurance quiet every lesson voice, and
frame your day with courage, clarity, and hope. A little
bit about Isaiah forty one. It sits within a section
of Isaiah chapter forty through forty eight, often called the
(08:44):
Book of Comfort. God is speaking to Israel discourage people
facing present trouble in future exile, reminding them of his
covenant faithfulness, surrounding surrounded by stranger nations and unst Tomorrow's Israel,
fear being forgot God's answer their fear with himself, his presence,
(09:08):
his identity, and his action. The threefold promise was I
will strengthen you, I will help you, and I will
uphold you. Is God's pledge to sustain his people, and
not because of their strength, but because of his steadfast
love and righteousness. So I want to share with you
(09:31):
a story out of the Bible that will highlight, truly
highlight Isaiah. For where God has told us, he says again,
fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed,
for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I
will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous hand.
(09:54):
If we go over and witness Peter walking on the
Water and Matthew's fourteen twenty two through thirty three, when
the disciples battled a fierce wind on the sea, Jesus
came to them walking on the water. He said, be
of good cheer. It is I be not afraid. Peter
(10:14):
stepped out at Jesus' word, but when he saw the wind,
he began to sink and cry, Lord, save me. Immediately
Jesus stretched out his hand and caught him. This illustrate
the presence over fear. It is I be not afraid.
It mirrors fear not, for I am with you strength
(10:40):
and help. Jesus empowered Peter to do what he could
never do alone, then helps him when his faith falters,
uphold by his right hand. As Peter sinks, Jesus immediately
outstretched his hand. It is a living picture of I
will uphold you with my right hand of my righteousness.
(11:06):
There is several scriptures that support this lesson. If we
sing in Psalms eighteen and sixteen, he say He's sent
from on high. He took me, He drew me out
of many waters. God is my refuge, in my strength,
a very present health and trouble. When we pass through
(11:26):
the waters, I will be with you. It is I
be not afraid. Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him.
He say, uphold by my right hand. Now unto him
that is able to keep you from failing. These are
all scriptures that show you that God is never failing,
(11:46):
that he is always there, that he will help you
in the time of trouble.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
These pasteses deepen your.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Confidence that God is not only strengthen us, but he
helps us. He personally upholds us with his unfeiling hands.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Y'all.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Our word of today is uphold. To uphold means to support,
to sustain, so that you do not fail or fall,
to steady and to bear the weight when your strength
(12:25):
is gone. This is not a polite pat on the back.
It is God's strong, righteous grip to underguard you. His
whold is personal, it is powerful, and it is principled.
What God is saying when he upholds you. Get this
(12:47):
what God is saying when he upholds you. He's given
you strength, he say. My power is active, not passive.
I don't just stabilize you, but.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
I supply you.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
When he say he's near, he say I am close
enough to hold you. My rescue is hand on hand,
And it's not distance, y'all. He's forever present, He's opt
no present, He's everywhere. So when things go rough, when
things seem like you are alone, know that you are
(13:21):
not alone. Know that He is right there. And then
his integrity. My support flows from righteousness. I will not
uphold you halfway or by cutting corners, but I will
sustain you in ways aligned with my truth, justice and goodness.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Y'all.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
He's not gonna have do what he said he would do.
He said, trust him, acknowledge him in all your ways,
all your circumstances, no matter what you're going through, you
gotta know that he's able, he's willing, and he's right
there to see you through. But you gotta trust his word.
You got to stand on his word, and you got
to spend time with him. We got to understand that
(14:04):
there is layers in Isaiah forty one and that one scripture,
there is layers. He said, I will strengthen you, y'all,
the inner forty two, that that that is the Jesus,
the God that is in you, that breath that he
breathed into you a Genesis two and seven. He breathe
a breath of life into you. So everything that you
need is already deposited in you. You gotta tap into it.
(14:28):
So when he said I will strengthen you, y'all, he's strengthening.
He's he's stirring up that strength that he already placed
in you in Genesis two and seven. And you got
to understand that, and then he say, I will help you.
This is practical battle assistance in battle. Whenever you're going
through something, you gotta trust him. You got to know
(14:50):
that he's there to help you, and that you don't
have to face these things alone. You don't have to
battle along, you don't have to get in a corner,
you don't have to withdraw that you can stay right
there in the midst of your trial and your tribulation,
are your set back, whatever it is, He's right there.
He's right there to better for you. He say, revengeance,
(15:11):
it's mine, not yours. So know that whatever battle that comes,
because the world has already told us that these weapons
will form, but they will not prosper, and we gotta
understand that. On today, he also tells us that he
will uphold you. That means in doing support that keep
(15:31):
you from going under. God meets your knees at every level, hard,
hand and horizon, and you gotta trust that. You gotta
believe that. So how can we live this out today?
Name and place, Identify what feels like is slipping away, fear, deadlines,
(15:54):
decisions and prayer. Place it in his hand right now,
and say, Lord, uphold me here. Whatever you're going through,
you have the power to name it and place it
in his hands. He's told us that. He said he's
given us the power to speak life of death over
in Proverbs eighteen and twenty one.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
He's given you that power.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
So you got to be able to speak life or
death over your life. He told us that, then you
can carry these raises. Repeat these things throughout the day.
Tell him you uphold me with your right hand, and
let it interrupt.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
Your anxiety thoughts.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Remind him whatever is going name it and place it
in his hand, and then throughout the day repeat it,
repeat it, repeat it, repeat it, and then practice posture.
Open your hands when you feel overwhelmed as a physical
reminder that you are helped by a greater hand, and
(16:57):
remind yourself that you are in the.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
Palm of his hand.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
So, whatever it is you're going through it, name it
and place it in your hand so that you can.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
Be reminded that God has it all.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
In control, that you are in his hand, that he'll
do just what he said he will do concerning you.
Know that he's not like man. He's not gonna he's
not gonna fail you. He's not gonna walk away when
things get rough. He's not gonna turn his back on
you when you when when you've dedicated your time and
your efforts with him, when you spend time with him,
(17:30):
he's gonna deliver you from those things. And again, you
gotta trust him. If you've been following, if you've been
following these this this journey, through this devotion, you know
that in everything he tells us to trust him, trust him.
So I declare, and I ask you to speak this
declaration over your life. God is my unfeeling source of strength,
(17:55):
my support in every situation. And I am upheld, not undone. Again,
I say, speak this decoration over your life. God is
my unfeeling source of strength and support in every situation.
I am upheld and not undone. What you can take
(18:18):
away from this lesson today, understand that presence is the
atonement to fear. The verse does not begin with a technique.
It begins with a person.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
I am with you.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
The greatest courage does not come from inner PEP talks about,
or from the reality of God's nearness. If He is
with you, you are never walking into a room, a diagnosis,
or a meeting or a valley alone. Know that he
is gone before you, he is with you. He's in
(18:55):
front of you, he's behind you, and he's beside you.
He's everywhere. Identify fuels stability. I am your thought. This
is a covenant language. God does not just help any emergency.
He belongs to you and you belong to him. Your
stability isn't rooted in change or circumstances, but it is
(19:18):
unchanging relationship. When everything shakes. Who God is for you
remains unmoved. He's never changing. It's us that has to
change and align with his word. Understand this. He said,
I will strengthen you, addressing the inner depletion. I will
(19:38):
help you speaking to the external changes and challenges of life,
He said, I will uphold you and reassure you. When
your foot is losing footing or slipping, he says, speak
to the external challenges.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
I will uphold you, reassure you.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
And God is meeting you in every level, your heart,
your hand, and your horizon. So breathe and understand the promise.
Pray this simple prayer three times today. Just do it today.
You don't have to do it every day. Do it today.
(20:17):
Pray this prayer three times today. In hell, fear not Exhale,
for I am with you in hell. I will strengthen you. Exhale,
I will uphold you, and let the rhythm set on
your mind and anchor your heart again. Fear not, for
I am with you. I will strengthen you, I will
(20:38):
uphold you. And just keep saying it over and over
to yourself, name and nail your fears, y'all. Sometimes you
gotta write those things down. What are you facing that
that is causing you fear?
Speaker 2 (20:57):
Write them down.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
As many as you want, and write down the top
two current fears, the things that keep reoccurring, reoccurring, and
next to them, I want you to write, God is
with me in this. He is my God, and he
will strengthen me, help me and uphold me.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
And then speak it out loud. Then take one small
step of faithful action.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
That fear has been blocking something that you've been wanting
to do, but you have allowed fear to set in
that some of y'all out there have been wanting the
host podcast. There's some of y'all out there that have
been wanting to share your story, whether you're sharing it
or a live you're sharing it in a magazine, you
shared it in a book, however you're sharing it, you've
been wanting to share it.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
I challenge you today to share it, go live.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Write it down, journaling, whatever it is, get it out
so that somebody can be blessed by that that you
have been walking in fear about.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
He say fear not, for I am with you. Become
an upholder.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Asks who can I uphold today? Who can I strengthen today?
Who can I pray for today? Who can I share
this message with today? When you uphold another, you often
feel God upholding you more clearly. So today I want
(22:31):
you to not quit. Do not allow or let delay
redefine your destiny. We gotta understand that sometimes delay is
for our own good. Do not get wearining, Do not
get weary, Do not let weariness come in. Because it
(22:53):
is not a verdict. It is simply a signal to
lean harder into God's strength. You will never ask to
carry this by yourself. The same hand that spawned the galaxy,
it's the same hand that steadies you today. Even if
your steps are small and shaking, they are still forward.
(23:15):
So go in God and know that God is not
counting your stumbles. He's keeping up, He's keeping you from failing.
Lift your chin up today, breathe take the next faith step.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
He is with you.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
He is your God, and he will not let you go.
He will not let you fail. So I want you
to understand today that God's presence is not an atonement
to fear. God's identity as your God anchors you when
life shifts. God's triple promise is to strengthen you, to
(23:56):
help you, uphold you and cover every need. Affirmation. Again,
God is my unfeeling sought, the strength and support in
every situation. Y'all, do not be dismayed, do not get
weary and well done, but stand, stay rooted in the word,
(24:19):
trust him and know that he is yet moving. He's
not forgotten you, and he will not forget you. Not
quit on God, because guess what. He sent his only son, Jesus,
to walk upon this earth, to hang on that cross,
to bear all the that for us. He bled, he
shed tears, and he didn't say a mumbling word. So
(24:40):
don't quit on yourself, because when you quit on yourself,
you quit on Jesus that hung on that cross for you.
He didn't say nothing, He didn't quit. He didn't give up,
because he could have gave up.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
He should.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
He could have said no, but he didn't, y'all, and
he did it for us. So I challenge you today,
don't give up on what God is doing in your life.
If you woke up this morning, he extended his grace
and his mercy. He's giving you another chance to get
it right, y'all. He wants us to get it right.
He wants us. He wants to see us striving. He
(25:11):
wants to see us and says he wants to see
us operate in those gifts and talents He's given us.
Because his word tells us that he give us gifts
and talents.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
He said he will make our name great amongst God,
in amongst.
Speaker 1 (25:25):
Men, and he will make room for your gift. So
trust him on today and allow him to move in
your life. So again, I thank you guys for joining
me once again.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Y'all.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Will be back here tomorrow. Unlets God tell me different
until he tell me different. I will be here every day,
sharing a daily devotion, sharing something to uplift your spirit,
because we should start our day off every day with
the Word, and we start at five am every single morning.
For the last five years. February will be six years
that we have been standing on the wall, trusting and
(25:59):
believing God for yet the things that are happening in
our lives. Know that it's not a coincident, it's not
a happenstance. That everything that is happening in your life,
it is designed. It is supposed to be happening.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Even if you.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Don't understand it, know that it is necessary. It is
necessary to mold men and break you into that person
that he's already preordained you to be, because your life
is already mapped out. It is already mapped out, according
to Jeremih twenty nine and eleven. He declared it, so
that means that is passed him, it is done, and
until it's fulfilled, y'all, he's gonna do what he said
(26:34):
he would do concerning all of us. So trust his word,
stand on his word, and know that his word is true.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Y'all.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
There's no white horse coming out the sky to save you,
and there's nothing new under the sun. So everything that
he's declared is gonna come to pass. And he declared
that he had a plan for you, and it was
to prosper you, not to harm you, for you to
be in good health, for you to have hope in
the future. So I challenge you today to stand on
His word and join us back here tomorrow for Day
(27:03):
number eighteen. Peace beyond the understanding we're going to be
coming from Philippians four and seven. So stay connected and
allow God to move mightily in your life today. Make
His peace and strength guard your heart throughout this day,
and as you rest throughout tonight. I will see you
back here in the morning, y'all between seven and nine. Again,
(27:26):
I love you with the love of Christ and there's
absolutely nothing you can do about it.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Y'all be blessed.
