Day 19: Love Without Limits Scripture: 1 John 4:9–10 (KJV) “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”Powerful Intro Love is more than a feeling—it’s a force that came for us, found us, and frees us. God’s love did not wait for us to deserve it; it broke into our world in the person of Jesus. This love is limitless, sacrificial, and life-giving. When we receive it, we don’t just feel loved—we are empowered to love without fear and without measure.Affirmation God’s limitless love fills my life, bringing purpose and hope.Word of the Day Agape: The self-giving, unconditional love of God that seeks our highest good and acts sacrificially to secure it.Lesson God’s love for us is boundless and sacrificial; it is the standard by which we measure all love. His love inspires us to extend love freely to others.Three Scripture-Backed Takeaways
  1. God’s love starts with Him, not us.
  • “Not that we loved God, but that he loved us…” (1 John 4:10)
  • “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
  • Takeaway: You don’t earn this love—you receive it. It is rooted in Christ’s finished work.
2. God’s love gives life and drives out fear.
  • “That we might live through him.” (1 John 4:9)
  • “Perfect love casteth out fear.” (1 John 4:18)
  • Takeaway: God’s love is not passive. It revives, restores, and replaces fear with confident trust.
3. God’s love is our model and mandate.
  • “Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.” (1 John 4:11)
  • “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” (John 13:35)
  • Takeaway: The proof we understand God’s love is that we extend it—practically, visibly, consistently.
How to Apply Now
  1. Receive and rest
  • Pray: “Father, I receive Your agape love through Jesus. Root me and ground me in it today.”
  • Meditate on 1 John 4:10 for five minutes; breathe slowly and let the truth settle into your heart.
2. Practice sacrificial love today
  • Choose one person to serve in a tangible way: a forgiving text, a meal, a ride, or a generous gift.
  • Do it without expecting anything in return (Luke 6:35).
3. Replace fear with love
  • When anxiety rises, speak 1 John 4:18 aloud and your affirmation.
  • Journal one situation where love—not fear—will guide your next step, then take that step.
Closing Lord, thank You for loving us first and best. Anchor our hearts in Your limitless love and teach us to love like You—freely, boldly, and without fear. In Jesus’ name, amen.Join us tomorrow for Day 20: Hope Anchored in Him (Romans 15:13). Come ready to be filled with a hope that steadies your soul and brightens your path.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Well, good evening, naked evening, Good evening, y'all. I know
I'm late. I am really late.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Normally I do this in the mornings, but today had
some things going on and I wasn't able to do
it this morning. So again I apologize for those that
are normally used to tuning in and hearing me in
the mornings between seven and nine, but I have to

(00:42):
be obedient and I'm supposed to share a daily devotion today.
It's actually day number nineteen of this twenty one day journey,
so I'm gonna try my best to be on in
the morning as between seven and nine like I'm supposed to.
But again I apologize for the lateness, but always trying

(01:07):
to be obedient to that that I have been called to,
and I was able to get everything together and be
here to close out this amazing day.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
So we didn't get to.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Start the day with our daily devotion, but we'll get
to end this day and then I'll get to see
you back here on tomorrow. So I'm gonna go ahead
and get started. I'm not gonna be on here very long,
probably about twenty twenty five minutes at the most, trying
to get it done before midnight so that I can
be obedient and have this done within the timeframe that

(01:44):
is supposed to be done. And again we're coming out
in one of my personal devotions. God is my refuge
and my present help. This devotion can be purchased on
my website, which is Wwwanela Thomas smithbooks dot com.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Again, that's www.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Angela Thomas Smith books dot org, I mean dot com.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
I'm sorry, y'all.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Again, this is day number nineteen, Love without Limits, and
I'm gonna go ahead and jump right on me and
so I can get this done before this day closes out. So, Father,
got in the name of Jesus, what I think you
for this space. I thank you for opportunity to share
your word, share that that you have placed within me.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Lord God.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
So Father, I asked that you will decrease me in
the flesh or God and allow your spirit man to
comfort so that I can share that that you have
given me to share with your people on today. Again,
I thank you for this opportunity and your son Jesus name,
I prayer Amen.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
So y'all, I'm gonna go.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Ahead and just die right on in to this lesson Again,
I want to thank all of those that have been
joining me every morning.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Y'all.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
We've been doing this for five months, and until God
tell me different, I'm gonna continue to show up.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Again.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I apologize for the lateness, but again I still just
want to be obedient and just want to share that
He's placed within me. So I apologize. And today's lesson
is coming out of Day nineteen, and it is love
without limits. Our scripture is going to be First John

(03:18):
for chapter four, verses ninety ten. It said, this is
how God showed his love amongst us. He sent his
one and only son into the world that we might
live through him. This is the love, not that we
love God, but that He loved us, and he sent
his son as an annoyting sacrifice for our sins. Again,

(03:43):
that is First John, Chapter four, verses nine and ten.
And I thank him for his world on today. So
y'all gonna go ahead and jump right on into the
lesson on today. Our affirmation is going to be coming
from affirmation is God limitless love fills my life, bringing

(04:06):
purpose and hope. God limit less love fills my life,
bringing purpose and hope.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Know that love is more than a feeling.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
It is a force that comes that has came for us,
found us, and frees us. God's love to not wait
for us to deserve it. It broke into our world in.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
The person of Jesus.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
This love is limitless, sacrificial, and life giving. When we
receive it, we do not just feel love, but we
are empowered to love without fear and without measures. That
is called a god bab, and the world of today
is a god bab. That is the selfish, giving, unconditional

(04:57):
love of God that seeks our high. It's good act
and sacrificial too secure. It God's love for us is
boundless and sacrificial. It is the standard by which we
can measure all love. His love inspires us to extend

(05:18):
love freely to others. God Love starts with Him, not us.
Not that we loved God, but He loved us. But
God commanded his love towards us, and that while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for us Romans five and eight.

(05:41):
It says do not we do not earn this love,
but we receive it, and it's rooted in Christ's first words.
God love is life and drives out fear that we
might live through him. Perfect love out fear. God love

(06:03):
is not passive. It receives and restore and replaces fear
with the confidence of trust. God love is our model
and a mandate. And first John for an eleven he say,
be loved. If God so loved us, we ought to
also love one another. But this shall all men know

(06:28):
that ye are My disciples, if ye have.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Loved one to another.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
The proof we understand God's love is that we extend
it practically, visibly and consistently. How can we apply this
to our lives daily? First we have to receive and
rest pray, Father, I receive your God bay loved through Jesus,
rout and.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Root me and ground me in it.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Today we can meditate on first John four and ten
and understand that he said in his word, this is
how God showed his love among us. He sent his
one and only son, so that we may have the
right to repent, that we may have the right to

(07:19):
turn from that that we do not do according to
His word, so that we may have eternal life. But
we have to first seek him. So today I challenge
you a lot of people. We we think that forgiveness
is for the other person, when in nat reality it

(07:42):
is for us. We have to forgive so that we
don't block our lessons. Forgiven is a mandatory mandate understanding
that we can practice. We can practice satrificial love by
forgiving somebody, by just sharing words of kindness. If you

(08:05):
see someone in need of a meal, someone in need
of just a conversation or a hub, a ride, or
just whatever you feel they may be in need of today,
showing that meeting that need, do it without expecting anything
in return.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
That it's a commandment.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
If we go over to Luke six and thirty five,
he tells us that that we do, we don't have
to respect expect anything back, because what we do He
will honor it and He will bless us for it.
Replace fear with love. Told y'all we was gonna be

(08:44):
before you loan. So one of the things that he
has shared with us is that his love is boundless
and sacrificial. That means it has no bounce a godpe
love is something that we have to show, and it's
something that we do not expecting anything in return. I

(09:05):
often hear our apostles say that that you do for others,
God will make happen for you. So you believe in
God for something on today, If you can help make
that happen for someone else.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
You can see what he'll do for you again.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
How can you apply this to your life? Receive his
word on today, ask him to show you a god
in love to lead you, to guide you, and to
direct you. Meditate on first John four and ten. If
it's only for five minutes, breathe in, breathe out, and

(09:50):
repeat his word that sometime it's just spending that time
with him so that he can get that thing rooted
in you and down in your spirit. So I leave
you with this, thank you for loving us, and thank

(10:16):
you for loving us first and best Father, I asked
that you will anchor our hearts with your limitless love.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Teach us to love.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Like you, freely, boldly, and without fear. Teach us how
to love our brothers and sisters as you have commanded
us to. It is a commandment that we're supposed to
love our brothers and sisters. How can we say we
love Jesus if we can't even love our brothers and

(10:52):
sisters or who in the flesh? So I challenge you
on today anchor yourself and him an caire yourself in
the world. He's given us instructions, He's given us the
basic instructions before living earth. So if you don't know,

(11:13):
if you need guidance, you need that direction. I challenge
you to open up your Bible, pick it up, read it.
These are things that He's showed us, and these are
people that have experienced all the things that we're going
to experience in life. Put yourself in a place of
those names that you see in the Bible. I'm not

(11:37):
a theologian. I don't walk in the office. I just
come on and share from the experiences that He has
allowed me to experience, things that I have endured, things
that I have done that will allow me to be
able to share, to be able to help someone else.

(11:59):
Understand that you are right where you're supposed to be,
but things may not be going the way you want
them to go. But know that he loves you and
he has no boundaries. He has no limits. He loves
you unconditional. He wants the best for you. So how

(12:19):
do we walk in his love? How do we share
his love? We have to be obedient and we have
to align with his word. If you're not as sure,
if you are aligning with his word, open up the word.
Everything that you do should point back to him. Everything
that you do should be bringing him glory and it

(12:40):
should be working together for your good. You may not
understand it as you're going through it, but when you
look back, you should be able to see where it
was for your good and how he was working it out.
So give him glory, praise him, and honor him and

(13:00):
all things that you do. I want to thank those
that have jumped on and shared it with me. I
will be back in the morning between seven and nine,
y'all for day number twenty. Hope anchored in him, and
we're going to be coming from We're going to be
coming from Romans fifteen and thirteen. So I challenge you

(13:22):
guys to join me back here in the morning between
seven and nine. If you're not following, go ahead and
hit that follow so that you can follow and be
connected with us, so that when we go live, you
will be able to catch the live again. I want
to thank you guys for joining me. I told y'all
wasn't gonna be on loan. I wanted to get it
in before midnight so that I can be obedient today

(13:44):
that he's called me too. Y'all, we all have something
that we're supposed to be doing, to share his love,
to share that that he's done for us. Know that
it's not an accident. It's not a coincident. You got
to see this day. You got to go through this
day and experience this day.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Y'all.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Somebody didn't get that chance. Somebody didn't get a chance
to walk into their dreams. Somebody didn't get a chance
to walk into the aspirations. But you did because he
extended his grace in his mercy one more time. He
shared a god ba love with you, and you should
be passing it on. You should be paying it for it.
You should be passing it on to someone else. So again,

(14:24):
thank you guys for tuning in. I will see you
in the morning between seven and nine for day number
twenty of this twenty one day journey. We're on the
twenty one day journey. We're coming out of one of
my personal devotions, one that I have created. If you
guys want to go over and check out my devotions,
you can. They're listed on my website www. Angel Thomas

(14:48):
smithbooks dot com. Again, I thank you guys for tuning in,
and I pray that you get rest in him on
tonight and I will see you back here in the morning.
God bless
