Come on in. Hey, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, kick and TikTok.
Good morning, good morning, Good morning, y'all. Have quite a bit, y'all,
(03:36):
because y'all know, I have not been going live on
the various platforms, have not been going live on the
various platforms.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
I've only been doing hosting my show, haven't been going live.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
But y'all, I'm excited to announce that I will be
returning with my Monday Morning our Power Show in January.
And we are moving, y'all. We are moving to a
new place. We are moving to a new place. We
(04:09):
are moving to a new place. We are moving to
a new place. I'm gonna flip this screen around so
you guys can see where we are moving to.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
We're gonna be going over.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
To M power Me TV again. We are moving to
n M M as in Man power Me TV. I'm
excited about this move. Y'all's gonna give us an opportunity
to share with a broader audience. We're gonna be screaming
(04:41):
through you Rukul and various platforms. I'm excited about that.
I'm excited about that because I tell you I have
been streaming this particular show through blog Talk Radio for
the last four years. This year, blog Talk decided that
(05:02):
they were going to close their platform and no longer
have the opportunity to utilize that platform. I was streaming
through the Crew Podcast because of course y'all know that
that is my personal platform, but I did not want
to be the face of that. I wanted to be
(05:24):
in the backgrounds and do the background work and give
other individuals an opportunity to allow their voices to be heard.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
So I think probably midway through this year, I decided
that I was going to stop doing what I was doing,
and I was going to.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
I was going to try to find another home, and
God opened up the door for me to be able
to move to this platform. I'm excited. I'm excited. So
I want you guys to make sure that you stick
around so that you can see the launch of this
(06:15):
platform again. Hour of Power, which stands for a position
overcomer will investle, educate, empower, and encourage through resilience. Y'all.
We are moving to Inpower Me TV. Y'all be able
to see us on Roucoul and probably three other different stations.
(06:37):
I will have more details for you guys for coming.
I'm excited. I'm excited, does not. The Crew podcast is
still up and running, y'all. We're getting ready to kick
off season four. We close out season three December the
thirty first, and we take a one month hiatus and
(06:59):
we will return February the first. We have some new
hosts that's gonna be joining the network. I'm excited about that.
But yeah, y'all, we're headed into our fourth season and
I thank God for the opportunity. If you guys missed
the show last night, of course, y'all know, I am
(07:22):
on the w b n N, which is a top
radio network that screams through talkshoot dot com. I will
be headed into my sixth season over there. If you
missed that show last night, y'all, my that was my
final show for this year. You will not see me
(07:43):
again until January. But I tell you What a year?
Speaker 1 (07:49):
What a year?
Speaker 2 (07:50):
It has been an amazing year. I think I hit.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
A what do you call it?
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Oh my god, I think I hit a record every
month except for one month, So eleven months out of
this year, I have broken a connection record. And when
we say connection, that means the number of people that
tune into your show. So I'm a super super excited
(08:24):
about that. But while I came on today, outside of
sharing with you guys about that move and about some
of the things that we're going to be doing, y'all
still make sure that you are following the Crew podcast
because we are still doing our thing over here. All
of those hosts are still doing their thing. But I
(08:47):
wanted to share with you guys the Novembers magazine.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
I received it on yesterday.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
I received it on yesterday, and y'all know, I like
to come on here and share with you guys the magazine.
The magazine, y'all, it is here. If you have not
taken the opportunity to check out the magazine, I want
you guys to check out this magazine.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
Y'all see how clear this is.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
And I'm gonna show you guys some of the inside
pages so you can see what we do over here
on the aspiring off this magazine. So this particular month,
we celebrated Destiny International Ministries. It was their Holy Conivocation,
so we shared a little bit about them inside of
(09:39):
this magazine. So here are some other individuals that participated
in that particular program. Apostle Doctor Kimberly Thomas is the
overseer of that ministry. She writes for the magazine. So
I wanted to share what they are doing and share
(09:59):
their message.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Y'all. We have a community section.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
We talk about things that affect all black and brown community,
things that a lot of people don't like to talk about,
but things that needed to be talked about inside of
our community, things that are going on, things that sometimes
get overlooked by the so called media. So we take
(10:25):
an opportunity to share those things inside of this magazine.
So we talked about gratitude, We talked about men's health,
we talked about honoring military, we talked about diabetes and
all timers. My nephew is currently serving in the Navy,
(10:51):
so of course I highlighted him inside of the magazine.
He was also home for Thanksgiving, so I got an
opportunity to spend some time with him, so he just
highlights inside of this magazine. I wrote a tribute to
him and I wrote a poem for him. Then we
have a poetry section. So the poetry section is normally
(11:14):
handled by the poet of the year. Unfortunately, the poet
of the year this year decided to step down, so
I had to take.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
On that position. So everyone that knows knows that I
am also a poet.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
I have quite a few poetry books out, some poetry anthologies.
I think we have a series that we are completing
right now. I think I have about four or five
poetry series. I love doing anathologies because it gives individuals
an opportunity to share their work and to connect with
other people.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
And I love it so.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Inside matter of fact, this is one of the books
that dropped in this series, so you can see some
of the individuals that's in here. So I share a
little bit about them, share a little bit about our
poetry series, and then I wrote a poem to those
poets that participated, So you're gonna get an opportunity to
(12:17):
get a little a bit about me and see a
little bit about my poetry flow and things of that nature.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
And then I talked about my poetry books. So for
that person that wins Poet of the Year, they get
an opportunity to.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Write in this section for the whole year, so they
would kick off from April of twenty twenty six and
they will write until April of twenty twenty seven when
the next Poet of the Year take over.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
So if you are a.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Poet and you are out there, you have an opportunity
to self nominate if you know a poet, a really
good poet, and you would like to nominate them, y'all,
we are currently accepting nominations for Poet other year. Again,
the Poet of the Year get an opportunity to write
in this section for one whole year, so they were
(13:15):
right from April of twenty twenty six until April of
twenty twenty seven. They get an opportunity to share their
poetry and they get an opportunity to highlight other poets.
However they choose to utilize this section. They get a
chance to utilize this section. It's usually four pages, so
(13:36):
you see this is two pages and this is the
fourth page. So then we have a business section, so
we share things inside of the business section that reflects
authorship and entrepreneurship. So this particular, this particular book, I
(13:59):
mean magazine, and we did entrepreneurship turning your story into
a sustainable business. We did closing the wealth gap, building
black and Brown excellent through entrepreneurship, and then I did
a a article on tech and how tech is for
(14:20):
us empowering the black and Brown innovators in the digital age.
So that is one of the articles inside. So I
talked a little bit about book branding and things of
that nature. And then All Things Books is done by
South Carolina book gal Patrisea Grimball is over that section, y'all.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
She is amazing.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
She has been with the Charleston County Library for twenty
years and she shares inside of this. She highlights poets,
I mean, she highlights authors. She shared interviews about authors
that she's done, and then she shared a little bit
about whatever that month she wants to honor that month.
(15:09):
So this particular section, she did a article on holding
on to Home, how African American families traditions are faded
and how we can bring them back. So she did
a section on that within that, and then she always
shares her reading list, so she does a reading list,
(15:32):
which includes children zero to nine, and then you have
the twins ten to fourteen, and then you have the
young adults fourteen to seventeen, and then adults eighteen and over.
And then she always do a book review, so you'll
see a book review right here on this page. This
(15:55):
is an advertisement. So this is Trevida. Trivida is one
of the host on the Crew podcast. She is also
a self publishing coach. She edits and she published, so
she does a lot. So you get an opportunity to
(16:15):
find out a little bit about her work, how you
can connect with her and the things that she's doing.
And then in this section, I get an opportunity to
highlight some poets and some authors. Usually I do two poets,
two authors, whatever it's available. So this month we had
(16:37):
an opportunity to highlight this poet and this poet, so
I share a little bit about them, and then they
submit a poem, so they get to share a poem
inside of it as well.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
And then.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
I had an amazing opportunity to meet some amazing poets
at an event that I was a part of a
panel in Charleston, South Carolina in November. So these two
amazing individuals were on the same panel with me. They
are poets. One is the Charleston's poet Lorette. One is
(17:21):
from Columbia and doing some amazing things. So I share
a little bit about them and their books and how
you can connect with them. So this is an opportunity
where you if you are an author or a poet,
or you are a creator and you want an opportunity
to share your brand, this is an opportunity for you
to connect and share your brand as well. And then, y'all,
(17:49):
I do reviews on a couple of books. So I
picked a couple of books to do a review on.
So that is a copy of the reviews that I did.
I did a review on Alla called Give Me Love
and Thanksgiving Novella, and then there was another one called
Grandma's Thanksgiving Dinner. And then we have the Free Texas
(18:13):
Campaign section. So inside of the Free Texas Campaign section, y'all,
it started out as an opportunity for us to really
talk about some things that were affecting those that were
incarcerated in t d c J, which is the Texas
Criminal Department of Justice, so those that are behind prison
(18:35):
walls and.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Td c J.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
So within this you will find different things that we
talk about. So this particular article, we talked about some
new divisions that t d c J has created to
help possibly make t d c J a a better
environment to really try to help them through rehabilitation and
(19:03):
not just be enablers and not just be a place
to house individuals, but to do what they're supposed to do,
and that is to rehabilitate. So I share a little
bit about that inside here, and then I shared a
story of Christopher nee Hist. Christopher nee Hist is one
of the young men that if you're on TikTok, you've
(19:29):
probably heard his name floating around on some of the panels,
so we have been sharing a little bit about his story.
I was able to do a little research and find
out a little bit about him outside of what I've
been hearing on panels. And then, of course, y'all, I
(19:51):
did an article on Sarah Fields, Yes I did. I
did an article on Sarah Fields and some of the
things that she has been doing around these social media streets.
So I share a little bit of facts behind her
(20:11):
since everybody is running over there and supporting her and
supporting those lives. So I just wanted to share some
truth to really who she is and what she is doing. So, y'all,
this is an article on her inside of this amazing magazine. Y'all.
Anything affecting our community, I'm putting it out there. I'm
(20:34):
putting it out there so that people can see what's
affecting our community. And then.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Wrote a little bit about understanding.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Self defense in Texas, because that's what we have been
talking about. If you go on a lot of the
panels over on TikTok, you'll hear individuals talking about self defense. Y'all.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
Self defense is not a crime.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
So I share about the five core rules to self defense,
and I share a little bit about.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
The Carmelo Anthony's case. So this is the article that
I did on that.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
And then the final section inside of this book magazine, y'all,
this is a magazine, not a book. But the last
section inside of this magazine is called His Story twenty
four seven thirty sixty five. Because you know, they like
to give us February. They're not to give us the
shortest fount of the year, when yet we are history
(21:38):
all year long. We are constantly creating history. We are
constantly doing something that needs to be recognized. And then
there are a lot of things that have happened in
history that they don't talk about. So I try to
(21:59):
touch on those things that people don't like to talk about,
things that people like to keep under the rug. So
this particular section I focused on the Hidden Harvest. It's
the title is called the Hidden Harvest, the Little Known
Role of Thanksgiving and Black History.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Because we know it's the thing.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
It was the Thanksgiving season, So I wanted to really
share a little bit about Thanksgiving and how it was
really recognized in Black history. So there's a section here
the end of Harvest, a time of danger and hope,
(22:44):
from survivor to celebration, the Church, the heartbeat of Thanksgiving,
a table of remembrance, and a forgotten chapter remembered. So y'all,
I share some things that can get your mind to
going and get your thinking. And then on the back
there is a picture of two of the young men
(23:07):
that we are yet fighting for seeking justice for them.
That is Carmelo Anthony and Christopher Meehis and I talk
about why self defense, Why self defense is not a crime.
I talk about understanding self defense and the legal foundation,
(23:29):
the realities behind headlines, empowering communities to know your rights,
and a call for clarity and justice. And then the
final little section in there is let's stand together. So
I try to tie it all in. So this is
pretty much the magazine. We dropped a magazine every month
(23:54):
and it drops between the twentieth in the last day
of the month. This month, I'm going to try to
get it out early so that hopefully you guys can
have it in your hand around the Christmas holidays, so
definitely be on the lookout for that. I am working
(24:14):
on it currently right now, but I just wanted to
jump on and just share with you guys. Don't slip
on the Spying Office magazine, y'all. We are available on
Amazon in the digital. You also can go to mad Cloud.
It is available in digital and in print, and then
(24:38):
you can go to blurb if you want a printed copy,
and we print every month. A printed copy is thirty
dollars and y'all see the quality. I just want y'all
to see the quality. You can see it is a
(24:58):
not your average magaz because it really focused on our community.
It is a magazine that is written by us for us.
I'm not saying that we don't touch on other topics
and other other communities and different things, but it is
focused on our community because we have not always had
(25:21):
an opportunity to be a voice. We've not always had
an opportunity to allow our voices to speak.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
So this is what I do.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
In order to see change, you have to be that change.
And I am the change that I desire to see
in this world. And I use all of my platforms
to do that. I hope you guys will stay connected
and join me every Monday starting in January. You're gonna
get an opportunity to check me out on empower me TV.
(25:56):
It is going to be screaming through Real Cool and
all of those various platforms, but you'll get an opportunity.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
To check me out over there.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
And I am going to start going live again sharing
devotions I started out, y'all.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
I've had some health issues this year, but God is
yet faithful.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
I'm trusted in believing that He's going to allow me
to be able to get back into the flow of
things and be able to do the things that He's
called me to do.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
Y'all.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
We're up every morning at five am. We're headed into
our sixth year of five am prayer. So if you
are a prayer warrior and you are looking for a
place to come and pray, please join us on the
Servant Leader's prayer line. We go, we go in every
morning at five. We try to wrap it up about
(26:49):
six six point thirty. However, God leads. That's how we flow.
That's what we have been doing for the last almost
six years. Like I say, February, we will be going
into our sixth year, and we have a prayer list.
We call out those names every single day. Individuals join
us from all over and we we just want to
(27:12):
be doing those things that we know that we are
called to do, and we want to.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
Be an impact.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
I truly believe in educating, in power and encouraging. That's
one of my mattos. I call it the E three experience.
And we do that through the L three movement, which
is learn, love and Lead. For those that have been
following me for a while knows that Shania is the learned,
(27:38):
Pam is the love, and I am the lead. But
we all have had to operate in those various those
various forms, so we are the L three movement. There's
no big guys and no little us over there. We
are a team, and our overseer is Apostle doctor Thomas.
(28:01):
She is on these social media streets as well. She's
out of Tallahassee, Florida. She covers our line every single day.
And I am grateful for all of those queens that
are a part of that prayer line. I have to
give them a shout out. Sister Cheryl Northern LeGrande, Channette Johnson,
(28:22):
Stephanie Smith, Pastor Pastor Goings, Patricia Gowins, Renee Wiggins, and
even all those that have been a part of that
nine at some point in time, those that even sit
in in the gap that pray in silence, we thank you,
(28:42):
We appreciate you for coming on and being a part
of the prayer line with us. Again, if you guys
have not had an opportunity to grab you a copy
of this magazine, grab your copy. It is available on
all of those platforms that I just named. If you
want it in digital, it is available on Amazon if
you want a print. If you buy a printed copy
(29:05):
on mad Cloud, you also can get it in a
digital form as well. So if you get it from
mad Cloud, you can get it in a digital form
as well as the printed form. You can get it
on Blur and all you have to do is search
Aspiring Authors Magazine.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
Again, y'all.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
I share about different things inside of this magazine every month.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
I try to try to focus on a lot of the.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
Things that's affecting our community, things that you know, people
bring to my attention, or I just I just let
those that write, they have a freedom to write, you know,
what is laid on their heart. So we're always looking
for writers to join us. We're headed into our sixth year.
(29:57):
I started this magazine may have during the pandemic because
I needed another outlet because we wasn't able to get
out and travel and to go out and do all
of the things that we were doing because we used
to do author showcases. We used to go out every
it seemed like every two weeks we was in another city,
(30:17):
another state, hosting author pop ups and hosting different things.
But when the pandemic hit, we could no longer do
those things. But we needed a way that we could
still highlight our authors, highlight those that supported us, highlight those.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
That were in our circle.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
So God dropped that in my spirit, and then in
twenty twenty three, he allowed me to start the Crew podcast,
which is another outlet that we used to allow voices
to be heard all over the world.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
Y'all.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
We've had guests on our show from India. We've had
people from Pakistan, We've had people from Africa. We are
a global.
Speaker 1 (30:58):
Network.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
Our magazine we feature people from the UK, we feature
people from Africa, We featured people from all over. I
tell you, it does my heart great when I can
go and I can look through those royalties and I
can see where somebody had purchased something other than US dollars.
(31:20):
I see that little sign that says, oh, somebody don't
purchase something from the UK. Somebody don't purchase something from
New Ghani. Somebody don't purchase something from places that I
never heard of, you know. And it does my heart
good because it lets me know that there are people
out there that are getting the message that they are
(31:41):
hearing the things that we're doing. They're grateful for the
things that we're doing. They appreciate it, and they support
So I'm still excited on y'all every time I see something.
Speaker 1 (31:54):
I tell y'all.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Last night, having miss Weekly on that show and even
having Dwayne and Doctor Ceci asked the host of the
show last night and then being able to come on
and share and able to get that story out. If
y'all missed it, I'm telling you go over to YouTube
and watch that replay. Watch the replay of that show,
(32:19):
and watch the replay on my show. Because I upload
my show as well, even though it's on another network.
I go live during the show so that I can
be able to share with you guys what I'm doing
on that network. So again, I appreciate each and every
one of you guys that support the things that we do.
(32:41):
We won't be moved, we won't stop because we are
the change that we desire to see in this world.
Change starts and the end with us. So will you
be that change? I want to challenge you to finish
through y'all. We're headed into a new year, y'all. We
have exactly twenty days left in this year. Twenty days
(33:02):
left in this year, y'all. I know we may not
have been able to accomplish everything that we wanted to do,
but don't give up. Don't quit because you have so
many more opportunities ahead of you. Know that you didn't
get dropped out of the sky. He strategically placed you here.
(33:26):
There's a purpose, there's a reason for your being, there's
a reason for your existence. So I'm excited. I'm excited,
and y'all make sure that y'all follow y'all stay connected.
Y'all may see me going.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
Live a little more. I've been on a lot of
the panels.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
Y'all have not seen me going live on TikTok because
I participated in some of the panels over there, so
I'm usually sitting on a panel and supporting. I only
go live at five am, but I'm thinking about twenty
twenty six going back to doing my daily devotion. Since
I'm doing five in prayer anyway, I might as well
go ahead and do my eight am devotion, so I
(34:07):
may go back to doing that. I'm gonna see how
God leads me on that over these next couple of
these next couple of weeks twenty days, Y'll see how
He leads me over the next twenty days, and hopefully.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
We will be relaunching the daily devotion.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
