The market carry—the price difference between current and future delivery—is favorable enough to cover most storage costs. For those watching international factors, do not overlook Brazil. CONAB reports that summer planting is ahead of last year’s pace, and any shifts in the global corn production picture could quickly ripple through Chicago prices. Meanwhile, trade tensions with China and uncertainty over future export deals remain an undercurrent for everything moving forward.
