Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the daily dose of Dillingham. Here is your
host end three time Amazon dot com published author, John Dillingham.
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to your daily dose to Dillingham.
It's currently one fifty six pm Central Standard Time, Wednesday,
September tenth, twenty twenty five. My name is John Dillingham,
three time published author. Available on Amazon dot com, Tampa
(00:23):
Hillsboro County Public Library System, in my own website Dillingham
dot com spelled d I one one ighm dot com.
I hope you're doing good out there, love all of you.
I know I've called you every name under the book, audience,
but the truth is, I just want to help people, man,
(00:48):
and you know, me and the only fans girls here.
I'm on Dillingham Alopolis today as I say these words
to you, of course, surrounded by fifty only fansgirls as usual,
we all just want to say that we did our
best to try to change the world by luring in
(01:11):
the evil billionaires to the island. And uh, you know,
I think we're gonna We're gonna move on. I'm gonna
stop trying to fix the world. I think it's gonna
take a little bit more than me and my trillions
of dollars at the end of the day to fix
these problems. We did what we could, and I think,
(01:38):
excuse me, all frogs in my throat aside speaking as
you know, one of the few good billionaires, if not
the only, uh, definitely the only trillionaire. But that's good.
You know, we can all do better, including me. You know,
(01:59):
I think I think I've been selfish these last few weeks. Really,
it all hurt, hit, it all hit on my birthday,
and now I've just been selfish, you know, greedily trying
to change things that I felt were injustices in the world.
Maybe you guys just don't care. Maybe it's all made up.
(02:22):
Maybe I just need to unplug for a while, follow
that rabbit to a rave and see how far the
rabbit hole actually does go in the matrix, because apparently
it just you know, what are we learning these days? Guys?
You know what have I learned other than I don't know?
(02:50):
Don't make your plans public. Anyway, It is a beautiful
day here. I can't complain. I know we're still doing
Central Time and I'm on an island, but I like
to think that Central Time is the best time, you know,
(03:16):
not East, not West, not Pacific, just right there in
the center center of what, may you ask? I guess
it's just Central America, you know, Midwest. Baby. Anyway, what
are we doing interesting facts for curious minds today? We
(03:38):
gotta do two of them because again, I didn't have
this book on Monday in Nashville. The cartoon character Woody
Woodpecker is probably the most recognizable redheaded woodpecker in the world.
Or is he? Or is he a piliated woodpecker? He
has features of both species. Well, he's just a cartoon
(03:59):
made up character. Second fact, founding father Benjamin Franklin was
known to enjoy imbibing on booze occasionally, but he never
said beer's proof that God loves us and wants us
to be happy. I guess maybe he's been misquoted with that.
(04:22):
What's the section called? He didn't really say that, Diddy? Yeah, okay,
there you go. I think you know, a lot of
things are gonna be misconstrued when it comes to famous people.
A lot of words put in the mouths, and you
gotta be careful because you know it ain't always true.
(04:43):
Ladies and gentlemen. Now you may ask what am I
supposed to be upset about and afraid of today? Trillionaire
John Dillingham. And I'm gonna tell you here, in just
the moment we're pulling up the news, I'm in a
bit of a low spell, you know. I mean, you
may have not known this whole time that I'm a trillionaire,
(05:07):
multi billionaire, whatever you want to call it, But I
am still bipolar. At the end of the day, I
do still have mental health days. One of them is today,
as a matter of fact. And you know, I'm just resting.
I'm going to clean up around the island a little bit,
take care of a few things, make some chili mac
(05:30):
for dinner, just chill out, you know. I think that's
what a lot of people really need to do sometimes
in their lives, is just it's just slow down. You know,
there's a lot of people out there who just who
have a difficult time saying, Okay, we've come this far.
Let's just slow down and think about things. You know,
(05:55):
Let's just think about this. Trump blames Democrats for Charlotte stabbing.
Records complicate the story. Suspecting Charlotte train stabbing that killed
a Ukrainian refugee is charged with a federal crime. Here's
(06:18):
what we know. Pizza shopper Ukrainian refugee work before train stabbing,
shares how they're keeping her memory alive. People dot Com
once again forty six minutes ago WBTV light rail stabbing.
A graphic video shows moments before the woman killed in
Charlotte five days ago by Cassidy John Conx. So this
(06:44):
is really one of those things that's kind of been hidden.
But basically, a black man killed a white woman on
a train in the in Charlotte. She was a Ukrainian woman,
almost said in the Ukraine. My first thought of that
she's Ukrainian is you know, is she a refuge Did
(07:04):
she leave the Ukraine to come here and try to
live a better life, because we all know how things
are going over in the Ukraine, right, I don't know
which one of these are. I'm going to read the
CNN article. I guess from what I've seen on YouTube
they've kind of buried this this story. I don't know
(07:26):
why we're getting it five days later. I didn't obviously
didn't see any of this last week when I was
going through headlines. So again, this is CNN dot Com headline,
suspect in Charlotte train stabbing that kill the Ukrainian refugee
is charged with a federal crime. Here's what we know.
Holly Yan and Jeff Winter wrote this twenty four minutes ago.
(07:48):
Released the suspect in the grizzly slang of a young
woman on a Charlotte, North Carolina lightwhere rail train now
faces a federal charge in a case that has turned
into political lightning, into a political lightning rod in the
country where she had to come seek safety. So yeah,
I was right. Arena Zerutzka, Sorry if I mispronounced that.
(08:14):
Fled Ukraine in twenty twenty two with her mother's sister
and brother to escape the wars with Russia, and she
quickly embraced her new life in the United States. Her
obituary states, but on the night of August twenty second,
moments after she texted her boyfriend to say she would
be home soon, a man sitting behind her on the
train stabbed her three times into throat in an unprovoked attack. Dude,
(08:36):
what I don't know all the details about this, by
the way, So I do from what I understand. Let's
just keep going, I won't you know the suspect, thirty
four year old de Carlos Brown, had a long rap
sheet and now faces a state charge of first degree
(08:57):
murder and a federal charge of committing an act causing
death on a mass transportation system. The federal charge comes
with the possibility of the death penalty, a punishment President
Donald Trump said he supports in this case. Prosecutors were
still investigating. The US Attorney for the Western District of
North Carolina, Russ Ferguson, said Tuesday, Democratic and Republican leaders
(09:21):
have traded barbes over whom or what is to blame
in this case and for violence nationwide. The debate simmers
against the backdrop of the Trump administration vowing to fight
crime by deploying federal troops and predominantly democratic cities. On
Wednesday morning, North Carolina Republicans, including from its twelfth congressional district,
(09:42):
spoke at a light rail station in Charlotte to criticize
what they called the soft on crime politics and the
Democratic led city. Remember Arena Arena Zarutska survived the Ukraine
in a bomb shelter, said Kyle Kerr, the chair of
Mecklenburg County Republican Party. In war torn Ukraine. She made
(10:04):
her way from that country to Charlotte, seeking refuge and promise,
and she was given the edge of a knife. Here's
what we know about the case, polarizing opinion across the country.
Suspect said, victim was reading my mind. His sister says, what.
For years, love One struggled to find the defendant in
(10:24):
the case the care he needed. Family members said Brown
had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and suffered hallucinations of paranoia.
His sister, Tracy Brown said she said her brother told
her multiple times the government had implanted a chip in him.
I knew he was battling something, but I wanted to
know what it was. She said. Brown will sometimes aggressive
and attacked his sister. In twenty twenty two, Tracy Brown
(10:46):
told CNN, though her brother was arrested that night, she
assigned to drop the charges out of concern for his
mental health issues. But it wasn't Brown's only run in
with the law. He has several convictions on his record,
including armed robbery, felmi larceny, and breaking an entry. Some
people are just sick, bro, That's the real truth behind this.
It's not a race thing. It's about people need help. Man,
(11:09):
and I come in Asthma Goold, a streamer that I watch.
He's taking a break around that because his dad's dying
of cancer. Blessings to all that, but he really, he
really emphasizes the need for help with mental health with
(11:31):
a lot of situations like this. This guy is definitely
no different. Clearly, he's been in and out of jail.
This is kind of like one of those things where
you it's like, this guy should be in a mental institution.
Why is he still running free if he can, if
he repeatedly keeps showing violent outbreaks against even in his
(11:51):
own family. You know, me being a bipolar person, I
can somewhat relate to this. I'm not violent by any means,
but I have definitely, even on this podcast, said things
that would offend and hurt people's feelings, obviously, and I've
said horrible things to family that I've you know, really
(12:13):
battled over the years to try to fix. And I
wouldn't be where I'm at today without my family. I
really got to point that out there. I know, the
whole billionaire thing, all jokes aside, right, you know, your boys,
just the regular ass dude living in Kentucky suffering just
(12:33):
like the rest of us. Right, there's no one on
this planet that needs help. Let me put this another
how do I put this succinctly? There are many people
on this planet that need help that aren't getting it
right now. That there are many people on this planet
(12:53):
that need love that aren't getting it right now. You know,
there are many people on this planet don't know how
to handle their emotions or their anger and or live
in a paranoid, schizophrenic state of belief where they really
think people are out to get them all the time.
And it's sad, bro it really is, because this is
(13:17):
the result an innocent woman dead, just trying to escape
another terrible situation where she's from, and she comes across
this guy who's in his own battle, obviously, and it's sad. Man.
Let's keep reading this though. Let's see what else CNN
wants us to think about this. Right. Brown spent more
(13:38):
than five years behind bars for Robbrey with a Dangerous
rep Wow, let me start over. Brown spent more than
five years behind bars for Roubrey with a Dangerous weapon.
A state record show after he was released in twenty twenty,
he didn't seem like himself and struggled, old conversations and jobs.
His sister told CNN the mother tried to get him
(14:00):
placed in a long term facility, Tracy Brown told seen him,
but her attempts failed because she was in his guardian
So okay, they even tried to help him, and I
commend that. It's like, that's kind of the other thing
with this whole situation is like you have family members
that do try to help, but a lot of the
times they're powerless because it's a fully grown adult that
(14:21):
you know, the system has to basically take in. And
it's said, it's said, what this does to families, you know.
Tracy Brown said she talked to her brother after his
arrest and asked him why I attacked a woman on
the train because she was reading my mind, he told her.
(14:42):
His January release stokes controversy. Earlier this year, Brown was
charged with misuse of nine to one one, a class
one misdemeanor, after allegedly asked officers to investigate a man
made material that controlled when he ate walked and talked.
Court document state officers told Brown the issue was a
medical issue and there was nothing more they could do.
Brown became upset and called nine to one one. The
(15:03):
record state a condition of his release was his written
promise to appear for his next hearing. According to court records.
The White House said his release left him free to
slaughteriness a woman just months later. Seeing has reached out.
CNN has reached out to Brown's public defender, the Mecklenburg
County District Attorney's office, and the magistrate judge who ordered
(15:26):
his release for comments. Even though Charlotte's midyear's stats show
a twenty five percent decrease in violent crime compared to
the same last same time last year, Trump said North
Carolina needs reform. North Carolina, in every state, needs law
and order, and only Republicans will deliver it. Jesus said Trump,
and I am yeah. It's hard to say, official spar
(15:54):
who's the blame. I think the real situation here is
when you see repeat offender. I'll even use my own
record in this case here. When I was initially bipolar.
You know, it resulted in me divorcing my wife. It
resulted in me being in and out of rehab twice
due to marijuana abearse. I'm not proud of any of
(16:15):
these things. I'm not proud of the things that I
said to my ex wife or my family, and it
comes and goes, ladies and gentlemen, the mental health. But
what I found is that simply living a sober life
and on top of that, really expressing and understanding my
(16:38):
emotions is what saved me from a world of you know,
prescription drugs things like that. Simply not having to work
as a bipolar, you know, diagnosed person also helped. After
working over twenty years you know in the system that
(17:00):
it clearly isn't designed for people who have mental health problems.
I just want to say, I don't support what this
man did, but I do understand his mental health issues.
And I think that's we don't get this kind of
side a lot when it comes to like violent crimes.
(17:23):
We don't see this a lot. And I think this
is one of the things that everybody needs to focus on.
Everybody needs to look at this and say, you know,
and the other thing too, is the only person who
can help you when you're suffering from a mental health
issue is you. At the end of the day, you
(17:43):
have to admit you've got a problem. This guy probably
never met it, he had a problem. He probably just
consistently stated everyone's lying to me, you know, blah blah blah.
And that's when you know it's a It can become
a lost cause you know you want I'm gonna step
(18:04):
back into my billionaire persona here, officers. I do this
because I love you guys. You know, I want to
make something entertaining here for everybody. I don't want to
just cry on the fucking podcast every time about my
No one cares about my shit, bro, you know what
I mean. You all came here to hear headlines and
(18:25):
some entertaining, funny comedy, right. This is why I dress
everything up the way I do. I hate having to
explain myself because I feel like that ruins the whole thing.
But at the same time, I do want people to
understand a lot of what I'm doing and these angles
that I'm doing. It's you have to understand when you
try to like empathize with the narratives that these news
(18:52):
companies give us and try to say, Okay, I will
look at it from your angle. I will try to
understand that these billionaires have our best interests in mine,
you know what I mean. Even when you try to
empathize with the situations that we're presented with day in
and day out, violent crime after violent crime. It comes
to a point where it doesn't make sense, right, like
(19:20):
the narrative of it. We almost love Israel. And again,
you guys know, I have literally nothing against the country
of Israel or Jewish people, but you look at what's happening,
and you have to understand there are governments that just
simply don't have the best interests in mind, not only
of their own people, but you know, of anybody on
(19:43):
planet Earth, but the leader's in power. And that's another
huge problem that we consistently face. And I obviously am
powerless to help any of this. And I truly believe
that even if I had billions of dollars, again, we
have a broken society of people who are mentally drained
(20:06):
and even quote unquote normal people ladies and gentlemen, ladies
and gentlemen working day in and day out a job
they probably don't love, paying bills that you know, are
probably skyrocketing. I feel for all of these people, I
really do. I used to be there, and even though
I'm sitting pretty right now, I struggle. Bro I cried yesterday, man,
(20:32):
I cried for a good twenty thirty minutes It's not
easy for anybody, man, And I hate living in a
world or I have to look at my brothers and
sisters hurting and no one's doing anything to make it better,
and they don't. When I see people that you know,
(20:53):
need a friend, it breaks my heart and I mean that.
I mean that from the bottom of my heart, guys,
and we have to be careful as humans. So yeah, anyway,
(21:24):
official spar over who's the blame? Charlotte's Democratic mayor of
v Lyles initially released a statement that did not significantly
address the victim and instead focus on offering empathy to
the suspect and addressing homelessness and mental illness. A follow
up statement notably thanked the media outlets for not sharing
video of the stabbing, but under mounting criticism and after
(21:46):
the videos released my transit officials, the mayor this week
released another statement that blamed the attack on a traffic
failure by the courts and magistrates and announced increased security
on the transit system. We need a bipartisan solution to
address repeat offenders who do not face consequences for their
actions and those who cannot get treatment for their mental
(22:07):
illness and are allowed to be on the streets exactly.
Republicans accused Lyles and other Democrats who lead Charlotte, who
led Charlotte of long before stabbing, long before the stabbing attack,
installing criminal justice policies at the expense of public safety.
They said, a man with Brown's records shouldn't have been
(22:27):
on the streets at all. And I believe that. I
think this guy had a serially serious mental illness that
really needed to be taken into consideration. Like, for example,
if this guy's let out of a rehab treatment facility,
still thinking that everyone's out to get him, still thinking
he has a chip in his head, that's a problem, rank, guys.
(22:50):
And I'm not saying that the technology isn't there. I'm
not saying it hasn't been done. God only knows, right
and God bless whatever is going on with that situation
with the chips and heads. I've taken a lot of
this as inspiration for my new book, and that's all
(23:13):
I can do with it. Guys, I don't know what
to do regarding any of this. Fixing it I do.
I do wholehearted. I'm not going to keep reading this
ar out let it go. I wholeheartedly support mental health help.
I think today's like a suicide prevention day too. So
(23:37):
you know, if you haven't talked to someone in a
while that you love and Carabu, reach out to him. Man.
I've said this many times on this podcast. Get sometimes
just calling up a friend and having a five to
ten minute conversation fucking around, bro, We'll do wonders for
your mental health, you know. And I mean that. My
(24:03):
heart goes out to anybody that suffers. You're not alone,
trust me. I felt very alone most of my life
dealing with this shit. But you ain't alone, bro or sister.
We're all in this together, man, And that's a huge
thing that I think. It's kind of disgusting to me.
(24:27):
The social media impact of all of this. How a
lot of people like to present these false narratives in
their lives online that simply aren't real man, and simply
aren't realistic. And I can't even say shame on them,
(24:48):
but I'm saying do better. You know, I don't know
where I'm going with this. I want to I see
things get better, you know what I mean. I want
to see people help themselves. I want to see people
embrace what it is that they are experiencing instead of projecting.
(25:13):
We see a lot of projecting, right, We see a
lot of projecting. We see a lot of confusion, frustration,
you know, And it's really the ability to recognize these
different emotions and hold yourself accountable for them, right. And
(25:35):
sometimes you won't have reasons when you're buying polar bro.
You just don't have reasons, you know, you don't have
reasons as to why you're feeling certain ways. Certain times.
You just gotta roll with it anyway. Enough of that.
I'm sorry that I'm kind of bleeding out of my
heart today, but I feel like this is a lot
of stuff that I need to say to really make
(25:56):
people understand, Like I'm not who I'm pretty I'm not
I'm not who I'm projecting. Dude. People get it confused, right.
They look and I think that's another huge problem, Like
they look at the worst things you've done and then
they decide, well, this is clearly who they are, and
(26:16):
it's just so blowing out of proportion. Right. Some people
just crash out, man, Fuck, I hope I don't want
to crash out. I just want to be honest with
you guys about certain things. The important things you know anyway,
fired FBI agents allege retribution and competence at top security agency. Yeah.
(26:42):
John Stewart spoke a lot about this on a recent
podcast where he interviewed some FBI agents regarding the retaliation
by the Trump administration. I'm not going to go into that,
but I would highly recommend checking out some of John
Stewart's latest podcasts. Another huge problem right the the the unfortunate,
(27:05):
uh misuse of our intelligence agencies clearly needs to be
looked at. Where are interests really at? You know? The
iPhone event happened yesterday, nothing crazy as I predicted the
I I think the biggest thing was the uh, the
(27:26):
AirPods Pro three like do live translation. I think that's
really neat. I think that's something that will hopefully, you know,
be improved over time too and break down those walls.
I've been using Google Translate for years to talk to
people that are Hispanic down in Florida and whatnot. I
never had a problem with it, just doing it that way,
(27:48):
texting back and forth. Uh. It's just another another you know,
step up there in the realization of a Babelfish actually happening, right. Babblefish,
by the way, was an old legend about a fish
that could translate any language to any other language. I
(28:10):
think that's the gist of it. Anyway, it's also a
software program, I think or was Investors retreat his shares
in bigcoin buyers decline routers two hours ago. Market isn't
reflecting that statement. Bitcoins at one hundred and thirteen three
(28:31):
hundred and seven dollars one point five nine percent of today.
A lot's going on today. We got a lot of
different headlines that kind of all over the place. Leaked
ice document shows work or detaining Hyundai raid had valid
visa and that may be true. Man, I think a
(28:53):
lot of them may have valid visas. I sincerely don't
like reading that article whatever that was last week. You
kind of think, like, would Hyundai really be this careless?
You know what I mean? Would they really be this
careless bringing over a bunch of illegal immigrants thinking that
everything could just work out. US death rate drop back
(29:24):
to pre COVID levels in twenty twenty four. CDC report
says good, it's excellent. Be good to yourself, man, for real, guys,
I'm gonna end it there with the headlines. We're at
thirty minutes let's check on the money. SA Chex is
at twelve point eight seven percent coming back up, ladies
(29:45):
and gentlemen, two point three cents up from God, we
were at one point nine cents. That's half a penny
in the last three days. Good job. X Elum is
thirty eight cents, respectively, two point one two percent, eighty
(30:08):
eight card, Donald's eighty seven point three cents one percent up,
XRP two dollars ninety seven cents one percent. Basically, Bitcoin
dominance is still at fifty eight percent, fifty eight point
four percent. I think that's where we at Monday, right
around the same. I know it was around fifty eight percent,
(30:30):
uh forty one percent up today. So again, Bitcoin doing fine.
I that Reuter's article is just like what twenty four
cents is where dose is at twenty five point twenty
five percent up today. I wish those was up twenty
(30:52):
five percent. Anything else here. XDC is down one point
sixty two percent in point seven since service at ten
point six eight percent. One. We're gonna make you, guys,
It's gonna be all right. That's all I gotta say today, guys.
(31:14):
I'm gonna clean house the rest of the day. Try
to try to stay positive. You know, you know, you
guys are my h You guys are my livelihood. I
made seven dollars off of you all in the last month.
I believe something like that. I appreciate everyone that takes
(31:39):
time to listen to these I really do. And Uh,
wherever we go from here, man, I want you all
to know I'm gonna keep going and I'm gonna be
all right. I think I think I have a lot
coming my way that will really make things in my
(31:59):
life shine, you know. And I'm really excited where I'm
taking the Justin Other Skater book series. I worked on
that a lot over the weekend. I've got about twelve
thousand words written. I'm trying to get to around twenty
(32:20):
to twenty five thousand words for the first book. And
it means a lot to me to be able to
do what I'm doing free from a job that I hate.
That's all I can say. I'm very thankful that I
(32:45):
had to base all security all these years. It's and
then I'm living off of it now. So anyway, guys,
thank you so much. Billionaire John Dillingham is leaving the
building and uh, we'll be back Friday. Blessings to you
(33:06):
all and has always lived strong and DIA happy. M
hmmm mm hm
