Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the daily Dose of Domitriacs, brought to you
by Dillingham dot com spell d I won one I
on gham dot com and top Level. Here is your host,
Luthrus Dmitrias.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to your daily dose of Dmitrias.
My name is Luthras Dmitriax. It's currently Monday, October twentieth,
five point fifty seven pm Central Standard Time, Monday, October twentieth,

(00:32):
twenty twenty five, Ladies and gentlemen, Monday, We're going to
drop the whole Israel thing for a while. I uh,
I think the entire universe knows my stance.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
I'm going to move on from my opinion on Israel.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
I've definitely proven to myself it's very easy to live
and still talk shit about not only Israelites, but Jewish Israelites.
We will do a fun fact today. I'm doing well,
by the way, I hope you're doing good. Doing a

(01:14):
lot of errands today. John Dillingham told me, as long
as I get the podcast done Monday, Wednesday Friday, he
doesn't really care what time I do them. So it's
now five point fifty eight. This is from the keeping time.
Section of Interesting Facts for Curious Minds by Jordan Moore.
Water clocks were the most reliable early clocks. The oldest

(01:37):
examples of water clocks came from sixteenth century BCE. Egypt
and Mesopotamia. Never used a water clock in my life,
Ladies and gentlemen, because I live in twenty twenty five,

(01:58):
this is gonna be a short punt, has to. By
the way, had a busy day, not really feeling like
going through tons of bullshit only to come out the
other end dumber than before I started the podcast today,
not really feeling that US Appeals Court lets Trump send

(02:21):
troops to Portland. Routers, ruiterers or Reuters forty four minutes
ago him Reuters right, guys. Appeals Court allows Trump administration
to deploy National Garden Portland. Oregon's governor calls on federal
appeals court to stop Trump from deploying troops to Portland

(02:43):
Life The Guardian twelve hours ago, seeing in thirteen hours ago,
as the previous Gahoo, US Appeals Court says Trump can
take command of Oregon troops though deployment block for now.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Fifty four minutes ago. As I said last podcast.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Ladies and Gentlemen, Now is not the time to fuck
around and find out what the United States government.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Be careful out there.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
This isn't the Loew's first high profile highest here's a
history of earlier thefts. Okay, apparently the Louver was robbed.
Historic jewels stolen in national disaster for France. What we
know about missing Louver treasures. Let's check it out. This
is a CNN style Nine hours ago, Lex Harvey wrote

(03:39):
this Precious artifacts snatched from Paris's Louver Museum Sunday, including
an emerald necklace set among more than one thousand diamonds
gifted by Napoleon to his second wife, and other treasures
of inestimable value. I mean, yeah, that's gotta be worth millions.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
That's wild, man, It's pretty. It's a pretty.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Necklace too, huge pearls. From what I can tell in
this image, the thieves targeted the Louse Apollo Gallery on
the upper floor, which houses the French Crown jewels. In
the course of a brisk seven minute heist, they broke
into two high security display cases and stole nine items.

(04:30):
According to Francis Culture Ministry. The thieves left on motorcycles.
Police said, I mean, that's probably the only way to
do it in France, with all how crowded it is,
those streets were not designed for vehicles. One item, an

(04:51):
ornate gold crown worn by Empress Eugenie during her reign
in the eighteen hundreds, was recovered near the scene, the
Ministry said. Art recovery expert Arthur said the thieves stole
important pieces of history and what was a national disaster
for France. These are the crown jewels from Napoleon, his wife,
and his successors, so these are the natural pride of France.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
A brand told CNN.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
It's a great loss because the pieces are so recognizable.
He said, the thieves will likely dismantle them, sell the jewels,
and melt down the gold and silver.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
That's sad. I mean, if that's really the case.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
I would think if they were this intelligent, they probably
have a fence to buy these, like a private collector
that has agreed to remain quiet that you know. But
maybe that's only happens in movies. Maybe they are just
like that, careless about it and don't fucking care, you know.
I hope they would care, especially if they're intelligent enough

(05:49):
to rob something.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Like this and get away with it. You know. Okay,
so we got a listeners that was stolen.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
A sapphire diadem, necklace and single ear ring worn by
several queens. An emerald necklace and earrings gifted by Napoleon
to Mary Louise.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Wow. Pretty.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
The rilliquary brooch worn by Empress Eugenie also very beautiful.
A diamond bow brooch and diadem of Empress Eugenie looks
like just a bunch of diamonds I think strewn about
some gold.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Here.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
The silver, gold and diamond bow brooch originally formed the
buckle of a diamond belt of four thousand stones, which
was exhibited at the Universal Exhibition of eighteen fifty five
before it was worn by Empress Eugenie. According to the
Lows website, there's the pearl necklace I mentioned earlier.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
And stolen but recovered.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Eugenie's crown, which features three and fifty four diamonds and
fifty six emeralds, was damaged in the highest according to
French TV station TF one and newspaper Parison.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Wild. Well.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Yeah again, if these items were taken, I don't believe
they would be melted down and dismantled. I think someone
intelligent enough to go after these was doing it.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
For a private collector?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
That would I'm dead ass serious about that. I don't
think anyone would be this mediculous, you know, just saying.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
What do I know?

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Though, Evan norris one billion dollar Nasdaq deal turns xrp's
price into.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
A public vent. Yeah, I don't care about that.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Revised PS five controller doesn't have feature we were hoping
for PlayStation Lifestyle. Interesting, I saw something about PlayStation fine
Pro model two also from the same source. We'll kind
of use these three articles here and.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
Keep moving.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Also, I haven't watched this yet, but Sabrina Carpenter was
on Saturday Night Live two nights ago, wait, one night ago, Yeah,
over the weekend whatever. She was very funny, very beautiful
as always, love Sabrina Carpenter. I've only seen a couple

(08:44):
of reels on Instagram. I'm sure she was great throughout
all of it. But I'm going to try and watch
that new episode before Wednesday to talk a little bit
about it. All right, So let's learn about this revised
PS five controller. Oh, there's not even so, this is

(09:06):
all rumors, This is not even real. They did release
a new model of its high end console option, the
PS five Pro. That iteration makes some slide improvements to
the original, although the price may be more expensive after
the recent price hike.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
What are the.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Improvements I'm just read skimming this article. The original PS
five Pro clock down at three thousand and three grams.
The new iteration is threeenty sixteen eighty seven gm difference.
This is due to some alterations made to the fan,
the motherboard, and the power supply. Each are lighter than

(09:50):
the components found in the original console. Theoretically, these slight
changes would make it cheaper to manufacture the original. Rumors
claim that the new PS five Pro model will be
around two two three percent more energy efficient. It seems
those rumors are true, although aisle numbers are similar. When
tested with games like Ashell's Playroom and Grand Tour, Almost
seven evans actually found an improvement of three percent to

(10:12):
four percent. They also found that the new model runs
slightly less cooler and is a bit quieter. The video
also features a revised dual sense controller, which did include
some differences from the original, although these changes seem to
be targeted seem targeted to lower cost of manufacturing they're manufacturing.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
There are two takeaways.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
The first allthough these are improvements, it's nothing to get
too excited about.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
The second.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Despite potentially lowering the costs to making machines, the console
is still fifty dollars more than when it launched last year.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
That's funny. Okay, moving on here.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
This is probably going to be the last article I do.
Apple adds a new toggle to make liquid glass less glassy.
This is from the Verge today. Apple's latest iOS twenty
six point one beta has a new option that lets
you tint liquid glass elements of iOS twenty six so
that they are more opaque. Since announcing liquid glass at

(11:10):
WWDC this year, Apple has tweaked exactly how glassy liquid
glass is.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Early on, there were some.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Legibility issues, but this new setting gives you the choice
of making things more transparent or more frosted.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Okay, that's fun.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
The option is available now in the iOS twenty six
point one developer beta that Apple launched on Monday. You
can access it from settings explained Brightness liquid Glass, and
they put us a few screens shots. I'm sure this
will probably be out before the end of the month.
Are close to it. My only reason to do any

(11:49):
of this it would be performance enhancements. I do have
an iPhone seventeen Pro, so I really don't need much help.
It's not like my phone's old. The newest one that
you can get and the fastest. But unless the Pro
max is a little faster, which I'm not one hundred
percent on that, I don't.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Really care regardless. That's the reason I used to change
back in the day the.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Settings on max to like a lower setting, just to
increase the performance of the computer. And that's probably why
I would do it. For this, I don't really care otherwise. Yeah,
we'll see it looks like that later. Try to give
an update when it is available. Looking at the charts today,

(12:40):
it was a decent day in the market. Joby popped
back up from around fifteen dollars and twenty cents to
seventeen forty three when it closed today. Xrps at two
doty nine cents, trying to come back up out of
the doldrums year. Definitely a big jump today. Sahx point

(13:05):
one three a bant some more of that over the weekend,
excuse me, one point three cents, two point seventy nine
percent up. XRP was four point one five percent. Jobe
was eleven point three just to give that put that
in perspective. Server Robotics is at fourteen dollars and seventy
cents two point five eight percent up. Big drop with
it as well, from around eighteen and a half dollars.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
A couple of days ago. Really Friday, I believe.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
Right, No, yeah, actually that was Wednesday last week. I
always forget the stock market for some of these symbols.
Isn't throughout the weekend, but yeah, big drop from last week.
It's okay, though it was kind of expected because it
popped up so high, So we'll give it some time
to consolidate and hopefully keep moving up as November approaches.

(13:56):
XLM still trying to come back, but thirty two cents
two point forty percent up today. Dose is nineteen cents
two point three percent up. I Silver Shares trust forty
seven dollars and seventy two cents one point five to
five percent. Gold is at four three hundred and sixty
six dollars and seventy eight cents. Looks like another all
time high today zero point two six percent up. I

(14:19):
feel like that's gonna have a huge drop soon. Just
saying just for consolidation purposes. I don't see this this
uptrend lasting much longer, and that's when i'd buy into
gold if I really cared about gold.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Which I don't. I just use it as a standard.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Typically you'll see gold move high when crypto is going down,
and visa v.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Although they have moved in tandem lately a few times.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Bitcoin specifically bitcoins at one hundred and ten thousand today.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
By the way, the.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Total crypto market cap is at three point seven trillion,
but it has been moving up the last three days
from about three and a half trillion on Friday, so
it's good. You know, this is mostly sideways from looking
at the big picture on the daily one point six
two percent of today. Just chill with it, guys. Buy

(15:13):
into some of this stuff if you can. It's still
discount of prices on a lot of this. I personally
would recommend SAHX. Definitely, Lobster wallet for life, y'all. Anything
else we see, if there's any actual XRP news that's pertinent,

(15:50):
I'm not seeing too much going.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
On with it.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
Whatever, man, there you go, all right, we'll just leave
it there. Good stuff, that's all I got, guys. I'll
definitely be back for a more lengthy podcast on Wednesday.
Thank you so much for tuning in. God bless you all,
and as always, take care of yourselves peace,
