Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, everyone, Welcome to Daly's Hop. This radio had to
check in a little bit tired, but I was still
checking with you. I gotta share my experience that I
had a couple of days ago, which food I tried
gold beats for the first time. It was good. I

(00:23):
didn't even know they had gold beats. That was good.
I had a good season salad and some good grilled
chicken with some good Lineacure sauce on it. I don't
eat chicken, but it was a treat it. I don't
really eat that like that, but I kind of can't
eat the same thing over and over. So I was like,

(00:43):
let me try something different. I like to try different foods.
And I tried it something I was like something new,
and I, you know, I like to do that. And
I enjoyed the meal and I enjoyed myself out. You know,
some problem survives and positive people like you know, head
on Street, like minded people, good vibes, you know, Rah,

(01:06):
you know, celebrated at birthday with some good people. And
I had fun. The fools good. The vibes was good.
I mean, we had to tell y'all about the beats
and the different foods that I tried. And I'm saying,
it's okay, you know, to try different foods and you
don't have to eat the same thing over and over.
It's okay to do that. And I said, let me

(01:30):
get out my comfort zone, try different foods, you know,
and I actually enjoyed it. Had to turn in there
with y'all to tell y'all about that. And I'm just
checking with y'all, say everybody doing. I want everybody have
a blessed one. I want to thank y'allic hern and
end too. Daddy's side its radio, y'all say care God,

(01:50):
bless it much love, y'all have a blessed one. I'm out.
I'm your saying, verstitute too much lives

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
