net. Well, now it istime for this week's episode of Dangerous Assignment.
The original air date January thirteenth, nineteen fifty one and the title is
Fine Missing Scientists, Doctor We CheckDangerous Assignment, starring Brian Dunleavy as Steve

(01:38):
Mitchell. Yeah, danger is myassignment. I get sent to a lot

(02:00):
of places I can't even pronounce. They all spell the same thing, though,
trouble But when I walk into theCommissioner's office, I don't realize this
assignment's gonna give me a lesson inetiquette. I'd always thought it was rude
to turn down a free drink. Now I know it can be fatal.

(02:23):
Good morning, Commission, Ruth said, you had an assignment for me.
I do Steve, ever done anybull fighting? Bull fighting? Well,
I've shot a little in my time, but never fought any. Why your
plane leaves for Madrid, Spain inone hour. I'm fine to Spain to
do some bull fighting and me withouteven a cape. Steve, you ever
hear of doctor Wicheck. Weicheck surehe's the greatest European scientist alive today?

(02:43):
What about him right now? We'renot so sure that he's the greatest European
sciences No, that he's alive today? Why, Steve. Doctor Wicheck's field,
as you probably know, is electronics. He's developed a new theory that
could result in the revolutionary type ofradio tube, a tube which does the
work of three ordinary tubes. Youcan see how important that would be in
the manufacture of radar and all otherelectronic devices. Yeah, but what's this

(03:04):
business about Watcheck not being alive?Doctor Watcheck agreed to come to this country
and turn over his research to us, to work with us in the development
of this tomb. He and hisassistant, a man named Menescue, would
do two weeks ago, but hehasn't shown up. You said I was
flying to Spain. You think doctorWatchick is there. We've traced him to
a villa outside of Madrid, thehome of La Vispa, La of Wispa.
Hey, that means the wash.Yeah, that's what they call her

(03:27):
in Spain. She's a lady bullfighter. You're kidding. No, she's very
famous, a friend of doctor Weicheck's. But shortly have to he arrived there,
we lost track of him. We'vesent several cables and a man from
our embassy in Madrid called her LayaVispa, but she hasn't been very cooperative
about giving us any information concerning doctorWeacheck. You sure she's a friend of
his right now, I'm not sureof anything. Steve, get over the
Madrid talk to this law vispa thenfor anywhere into anything that Sniss is sorry

(03:50):
to find doctor Weicheck. Yeah, that's it. You've got your assignment.
Good luck. The National Broadcasting Companyis presenting Dangerous Assignments starring Brian Don Levy

(04:14):
and the role of Steve Mitchell, colorful two fisted government agent at all those
places of the world where danger andintrigue walk hand in hand. There you'll
find Steve Mitchell on another dangerous assignment. Sure, I've got my assignment,

(04:34):
fly to Spain and find doctor wheatCheck. On the surface, it sounds
pretty easy, but there are justa couple of small details that could make
it not so. First, I'msure to run into some boys along the
line will be all out to preventme from finding we check. In.
Second, I'm slate at the tanglewith a lady bullfighter known as the Wasp,
and, knowing the equipment wasps usuallycarry, I've got an uneasy heights

(04:57):
A hersting is going to be reservedfor me. That's Sunday afternoon when my
plane lands in Madrid. As soonas I get awful, little guy scurries
toward me, Mister Virtual and mistervitual. Eh they told me you were
coming. I had been waiting foryour plane. Oh yo, manescu,
manescue. Oh yeah, the commissionertold me about you, not hears.

(05:17):
Look, what's the deal? Hadyou any idea where doctor Watcheck is no?
None at all, And I'm quiteworried about him. You see,
doctor Mitchell. When doctor Watcheck andI decided to come to the United States.
We realized there might be people whoare trying to prevent it, particularly
in our own country. Yeah,so we decided to split up to travel
separately to Spain. We were tomeet at the villa of this Lavispa.

(05:40):
Doctor Wicheck left first. I followeda few days later. But when I
arrived here Madrid, I could notfind doctor Watcheck, and La Visperg could
not give me any information about him. Couldn't or wouldn't. I am not
true. Was doctor Wicheck carrying hisresearch notes with him? Yes, but
the papers themselves are worth us.What do you mean the basic sick formula?

(06:00):
Doctor we Check did not write down, He kept it in his head.
Well, that means we got tolocate him. I think I'd better
have a talk with this law ofthe spell. Where's her villa outside the
city? But you will not findwith her now. She is a deplosaty
toris the bullfight arena? Yes,the corrida or bullfight is in progress.
Okay, let's go to the arena. I'd like to see the wasp in
action. See just what kind ofa sting she carries? Manesque and I

(06:31):
head for the arena. It's packed, but we managed to find two seats
next to me. Sits a skinnylittle guy in a loud scriped shirt,
complete with armbands and a collar buttonbut no collar. Every time something happens
when the ring, he jumps tohis feet, let's out of yelling jams
and elbow into my face. Hewatch it? Will your buster? Oh
and I'm sorry, sanuels Joe thatI get so overcome Yet you sure doo?

(06:55):
What's going on down there? Anyway? You do not understand bullfighting.
I do not under stand bullfighting. This is a crime, nice and all
rage. But I fix, Sanjo, I fix. I'll tell you all
about it. Mid yeah, justfinished. Who they are? The ones
who played the darts in the bull'sneck? Nana now comes the swear swearted
and a look, hey that's thekill senior in a moment you could boy,

(07:18):
will you watch that? I lovecareful story. Saniel go into the
ring. Hey even from here shelooks like a pin up girl. Oh,
I got what you could the mostbig crush hand horse. She's the
most beautiful, the most prediful, the most yeah yeah yeah, what she's
doing now? It looks like she'smaking a speech to that person sitting in

(07:39):
the bus. You see the bullshe's about to kill. She dedicates her
first twelve PRIs identity of the bullfight, and now it's starts. See
she has torn her face to thebull. Yeah, hey, he's coming
at her. Whoa why those hornscouldn't have been farther away from her than
the then senior That you ever sawsuch beautiful veronic veroni a whole ica,

(08:01):
that's the name of the turn shejust made for a loud the bulla nothing
could come again? Oh brother, that bull charges like an express. Trains
and Delusian bully are the most fearsof pitcher. She has all the grace
of a bead. Answered. Yeah. She seems to be working the bull
into the tider circle all the time. Look, the bulle is just standing

(08:22):
there. Hey is she crazy? She's turning her back on him and walking
away. Bravo. If you don'ttake that elbow out of my face,
out, bravo, you you're run. Oh sorry, sorry, but you
see, the supreme moment has arrived. She has worked the bull into position
for estoccara. What's that the deathroost? You see? No, she
takes their stocky the sword. Sothat's the wasp stinger. Pretty effective looking.

(08:46):
Now she has two choices, eitheraboyrki or recipiendo. Don't start that
double talk again, will you?But it's quite simple say look what I
mean is ob kay. That isthe met in which the bull stands still
and the matador runs at him tobelieve the death roost. But she is
standing still. She is waving hercap at the bull. Oh, wonderful,
wonderful, there's a window she goto. Little bull charged her and

(09:07):
delivered the truth in his horns, passed under her arms. The best way.
There's a bindo. The bull hasstarted for her. He's right on
top of her. She's not inmy likes a plata. She said no,
watch watch hill the last moment andbroke his heart home. The bull

(09:30):
is down one truth. He isdowne for boy. Great thing to watch
on an empty stomach. Ululu precedentof the bullfight. He's making a sign,
oh too much and the tail istoo muh. You're telling me what
happens now, Then drag the bullaway, Then come another pull and the
manador. Oh but for me,I have seen loves, I have lived

(09:52):
over, I go, Yeah,yeah, I got too down. A
wispers pressing one whisper. See whoare you, Steve Mitchell from the United

(10:13):
States? Oh? What do youwish of me? A little information?
You see? I'm a newspaper correspondent, an interview. Yeah, sort of
very well, but perhaps you willbe kind enough to make it brief.
I'm rather tired. I shouldn't wonder. That must be quite a workout.
How do you happen to get intothis business? Love? You'll make her
Mike Conzuela, and with me.This is not a business. Is much

(10:35):
more than that. Oh, butyou, as a reporter, had better
write down that I do it formoney off of publicity. These things people
understand my real reason this, Theywould perhaps not understand what is the real
reason, Conzuela. We all ofus look for reality. We find it
in different ways. I find itin the arena, in that moment the
bull charges me, I am alive. You feel alive by killing something?

(11:01):
That is one way of looking atit, I suppose. But what do
you do between times? I mean, you can't be fighting ooze all the
time. He's quite simple. AndI finished fighting one bull, then I
wait to fight another one. Oh, no social life. It is necessary
to purify the mind to budge itof collelse ever occurred to you that you

(11:24):
might be missing a few things inlife. That way, perhaps if I
ever found something for someone who didfor me what the charge of the bull
does, then it might be adifferent matter. Sounds like it would be
a pretty tough act to follow.Another thing. I'd sort of like an
interview with your house guests too.I have no house case. I mean

(11:46):
doctor Whitcheck. I understood he wasstaying with you no longer. Oh he
left my villa weeker moore ago.Any idea where he went? I understanding
was going to the United States.I do not know. I see,
and you're sure he's not that you'rea villa. I have just told you
he's not seen you now, ifyou will pardon me, I'm quite tired.

(12:07):
Yeah, sure, thanks for theend of you can so I'll see
you around. How did you findout from Amature? No more than you
did Menesco, She said doctor Whichekhad left for the States a week ago.
But I think she's lying. Perhapsshe is. It sounds like she's
on the phone, And man,I was just signature, he claimed,

(12:35):
But I do not believe. Maybean A must be who's she talking to
I don't know, but I doknow she's involved in the deal some way.
Just how to believe doctor, whichI considers her to be a good
friend. I guess you're never gonnatell. Well, I guess I'd better
find me a hotel Manesco than Ithink I'll pay another visit to the law

(12:58):
as ah Man. You are asenior Mitchell. No, I am senior
Mitchell. Yes, who are you? Andrik of the hotel Seniors? I

(13:20):
have come to inquire if your roomis in order? Oh yeah, yeah,
everything seems to be fine. I'mjust getting unattacked. What's that under
your arm? Battle of the finestMalaga Wine Seniors, with the compliments of
the hotel. Oh, and see. It is our way of extending to
you the welcome. I see,and now, if you will permit,

(13:41):
I will see if everything is inorder in the battle room. Cher go
ahead. H that's it's a seniorMitchell. In two one one? Is
it the customer of the hotel tosend the bottle of wine to each new
guest? It doesn't, thanks verymuch, So everything is enormous. I

(14:03):
hope you will enjoy your stay justa minute, en Rickie, what is
you singers? Well, as longas you were kind enough to bring me
this bottle of wine, I'd likeyou to have a drink with me.
Why it is very nice of youto offer single, But I'm afraid the
hotel regulations forbid the employees to drinkwith the yests. Oh we couldn't we
make an exception. I don't know. I'm afraid not no. If you

(14:26):
will excuse me, I must live, sen you're blocking it. You can
leave, en Ricky right after youhave a drink with me, but I
have totally. It is impossible.Funny you're perspiring all of a sudden.
Weather seems pretty chilly to me,Senor, I must leave. Wouldn't be
buy any chance to something wrong withthis wine? Could I insist you let
me buy? Like a poison prison, get out of my way? I

(14:52):
die for Enrique hit hold a chairin front of me, and I goes
crawling on the floor. He jerksopen the door and lunches out under the
hall. I scrambled my feet tofollow them. When I get out in
the hall, he's nowhere in side. I turned a corner and run right
into a fat boy who was waddlingdown the hall. Oh, I beg
your part of saying, Are Ihope that I it's okay, Just let
me pass up? But of coursenot fat way, Oh forgive me.
Look, let's quit judging each other. But I am not trying to get

(15:15):
out of your woye. So yeah, I'm beginning to wonder, say,
y'all skip it. Look, youstand still and I'll go around you.
But of course I hope I havenot detained your senor. I pound along
the rest of the hall and downto the lobby. But no, Enricy.
The fat boy delayed me just longenough, and maybe on purpose.
I go back upstairs, but thefat boy's gone too great. But somebody's

(15:37):
trying to take me out of theball game, and that's somebody could be
Consowalla the wasp girl. I renta car and head out of the city
to or Villa. I parked downthe road away and started walking toward the
gate. Just as I get there, I hear a car winding down the
long driveway, so I tuck intothe bushes. There's a car passes me.
I spotted the driver. It's Enricy, the boy who slipped me the
bottle of poisoned wine and the hotel. I run back, get into my

(16:00):
car and start following him. He'sheading toward the city, traveling fast.
I keep well back. Finally heplows up at a large house on the
outskirts of town. I parked mycar, climbed the garden wall, and
he's up to a window. Inside. I can see I'm Ricky talking to
an old man with white hair whoseback is to me. The old gent
half turns and I get a lookat his face and do a big take
to make sure. I fish apicture out of my pocket and take a
look at it. Yep, there'sno doubt about it. I finally found

(16:22):
doctor whichick. There's a lot aboutthe deal. I don't understand yet,
but I'll soon find out. Iwait until Enriky leaves. Then I go
to the front door. Why theguns do not leave? I have not
doctor check. I've never heard. And if you do not get away from
this house this instance, you willhave to be Kawi Toki. You are

(16:56):
listening to Dangerous Assignments starring Brian Donlaveythe role of Steve Mitchell. Well,
this is just great. Here Ibust my back trying to find doctor Weicheck,
and now he tells me he isn'tlooks like he's maybe not quite as
anxious to come over to the Statesas the commissioner figured. I don't know

(17:18):
why he's lying, but I'm gonnafind out. I didn't fly all the
way over here to Madrid for nothing. You do not get out I usual
tool. I doubt you. Notmuch of a marksman. Do not drop
the gun. Looks there? Whohave you, Steve Mitchell from the States.
I was sent over here to findyou. Why did you lie to

(17:38):
me just now about not being doctorWeicheck host choice? What do you mean
I've been waiting for my transportation.I have just learned that it's been atranged.
Tonight I leave for the east.To east? Do you mean back
to your own country? To youngmy own country? Those are my instructor
instructions. Look, you'd better startat the beginning. You're leaving me way
behind, but it will do nogood. I am helpless. You see,

(18:04):
my original intention was to come toyour country and make available to your
government the results of my research inelectronics. Yeah, I know all that
you've developed a new kind of radiotoo, that we need an our radar
equipment. Yes, when I toldmy assistant Anescue of my decision, he
asked to accompany me. It wasdecided that we should travel separately, my

(18:25):
daughter and I. First, Manescueto follow your daughter, Maria twenty years
old. I wasn't told about yourdaughter, but that is what this is
all about. Go on, Manescuewas to meet us here in Madrid at
Consuela Spiea. What happened when mydaughter arrived at the via Consuela was not
there. Instead, there was aman waiting with a gun. I see

(18:45):
I was brought here. My daughterwas taken somewhere else. I do not
know where. I was told ifI wanted to see her alive again,
I must discontinue my journey and returnto the east. You know, it's
pretty strange that Conzuella wouldn't be ather villa if she was expecting you and
your daughter. I naturally supposed shehad been called away at the time.

(19:06):
Either that or she arranged to beaway at the time. Hey, Mitchell,
you asked me earlier if you weresure I could trust Consuelo. What
did you have in mine that's boyEnrique, the one who was just here
to see you. He is theone who took my daughter and forced me
to come here. What about him? I followed him here from Consuello's villa.
What Yeah, I cannot believe Consuelocould be involved in East. Enrico

(19:32):
is also the boy who posed ata bellhop earlier this evening and tried to
kill me with a bottle of poisonedwine. Mitchell, I do not know
what to say. Have you seenConcewella since you've been in hiding. No,
but I have talked to her bytelephone. I wish to explain my
disappearance to her. I say, look, what time are you supposed to
leave for the East. Enrique isto call for me at midnight. Midnight?

(19:52):
That gives us just three hours tofind your daughter, Mitchell, I
will not concern to anything that mightplace her in danger. Give me three
hours. Doctor WI check you saidtight here. I'm going to pay another
call on kan Suella. I donot quite understand why you have come here

(20:17):
to my video. You have alreadyinterviewed me once. I'll just put it
down that I've gotten to be afan of yours. Kanzueller, good line,
quite flattered. May I offer youa glass of wine? Mala the
wine by any chance? Well?As a matter of fact, it is
how did you know? Oh,this psychic? I guess would you care
for some? Thanks a lot,but no thanks, kan Sweller. You've

(20:37):
told me you didn't have any ideawhere your friend doctor Whicheck is. See,
it is exactly what I told you, and that is exactly what I
meant here for you wouldn't know wherehis daughter Maria is either, but of
course not, and you haven't talkedto either one of them lately. How
could I talk to him if Ido not know where they are? I
see? How about your driver,Enrique? What about him? I was

(20:57):
just wondering if he could know wherethey are? Senor? If I do
not know? How good Enrique? No? I guess you've got a point
there, Consuela. Senor, Isuggest we conclude this interview. It appears
to say no purpose. Oh,I wouldn't say that, Consuella. It's
been a very interesting interview. I'llbe seeing you. I greatly doubt you're
never gonna tell so I leave. At this point, it looks like Consuella

(21:26):
is my great a suspect. Idon't think Enrici is the boss of the
operation. I think he's taking ordersin Consuela is the logical one to be
giving those orders. Of course, there's still a matter of the fat gentle
detained me in the hall outside myhotel room, and I was chasing Enrici.
I don't know yet how he fitsinto the deal, but right now
the important thing is to find Wichek'sdaughter. I've got just two hours left,
and I don't know where to start. A thought hits me, why

(21:48):
not start right where I am.I circle around through the grounds of the
villas of the garage. Consuela's caris a large black sedan. I get
in and crouch down on the floorof the rear seat. Then I wait
a minute ticks by eleven o'clock.I start sweating. Maybe I'm barking up
the wrong tree. Then somebody entersit. The rides eases into the car
and we start up. I geta look at the back of the driver's

(22:08):
head. It's Enriky. He headsfor the city. Twenty minutes later,
he pulls up in front of abeat up rooming house on a side street,
and Rickie gets out and goes inside. I wait a couple of minutes,
then I get out of the backseat. Then I spot a guy
across the street. It's the fatboy, and he stiffens when he sees

(22:29):
me. I know I haven't gotmuch time now, so I dive inside,
but I don't know which room EnRickie headed for. There's no one
in sight on the first floor.I start up the stairs. Then I
spot Enrickie at the top looking downat me. I dived to one side.
The knife plunks into the banister.I scramble up the rest of the
stairs and Rickie is disappearing through thewindow under the fire escape. I pound
after him and dive on him justas he reaches the brown Let's score.

(22:52):
Oh no, Ricky, you're gonnatell me where you're holding Maria. We
check a prisoner. No you seeif that wall behind you? Changes of
mind? Which rooms it? En? Rickie? Who will not turn okay?
Let's could go on all night stop? Who will tell you? Let's
have it to go, Maria,Ricky, I'm Rickie slums to the ground.

(23:18):
The shots came from me under thealley. I take off after them,
then around the corner, and thenin front of me, is the
fat boy with a gun in hishand. I grabbed for it. Let
go, my go. I'll takea question. You've already killed once with
it. Not gonna give you asecond stance. But you are mistaken,
Senor. Save it. You killedn Rickie just now to keep him from
telling me where Maria Whitcheck is?Why would I do that? When I
too, I'm looking for Maria Whitcheck. Why I'll look boys, three comes,

(23:41):
if you please, If you wouldget to examine my gun, you
will see that it has not beenfired recently. But right, But who
killed n Rickie? Then? Theseshots were fair? In the dark,
I could not see. Perhaps itwas youth, Senor. Now I believe
it's time I inquired. Is toyour interest in this matter? Who are
you? I'll answer then when Iknow who's talking. Of course, I

(24:02):
am a betto Gomez and the Madridpolice sleeves see and you, oh,
here are my credentials. Yeah,so it would appear then that we are
both concerned with the same matter, the disappearance of doctor Watcheck and his daughter
Maria. I've already found doctor Whicheck. Indeed, yeah, they kidnapped his
daughter Maria and told him to stayin the cover. But I think they've
got her in that rooming house somewherein that case. Hold it, listen,

(24:26):
car pulling away out in front.Come on our hepsid is an uny
cased killer. Here I come pastthe alley, A man and a girl.
The girl's Maria. Whetcheck I havea picture. We got a car
around here, go and see.Come on, we got to catch him.

(24:49):
We are almost up to them,Mitchell, Yeah, but how are
we going to stop him? Idon't want to shoot the tires out,
no, said, might be injured. Wait, I got it, Mitchell.
What are you doing? Just gettingout on the me board? Now
come up alongside the other car,But come on, step on the gas
very well. Okay, that's closingup. You can't drive and shoot at

(25:11):
the same time. But Maria slamon the brake. Drop that gun,
chump, I can it bent towardsyou. But let Some guys are so
hard to convince he shot himself. He sure did. Who is he anyway?
I do not know he has beendoubting me? Are you all right?

(25:33):
Yeah? But we're not much fartheralong and before Gomez. We've got
Maria, but we still don't knowwhat's been masterminding this operation. This guy
was just a guard, and Idon't think Enrickie was the boss either,
which leaves just about one possibility. What do you mean Enricky was Consuela as
driver? I know, but yousurely do not think that Consuelle could be
involved? Why not? But Livespashiis a national figure. I cannot believe.

(25:56):
I think I know one way tofind out for sure, but how
this man is dead? Also afirst, Let's take Maria back to town,
put her in a safe place forthe time being. Then I want
to make a couple of phone calls. Phone calls, Yeah, it's calls
for a celebration, Gomez in myhotel room. I make my calls Gomes

(26:21):
and I wait my room. Doctorwe check is the first to show up.
Then come Manesque and when he spotsdoctor, we check his face lights
up like a neon sign. Doctorwe check. Oh, what a relief
to see you. I feel badlyabout not communicating with you Menisque, but
I have no choice. That isno matter not The important thing is that
you are safe and Maria he's safetoo. Wonderful. Then we may continue

(26:45):
our journey as a plan, Mitchell, I still do not see why you
have arranged this meeting. That shouldbe our other guests. Gomez, come
on in, Consweller, may Ihave what did the meaning? Doctor?
Which does it surprise you to seehim here? Conswella, why indeed it
does. But naturally I am delighted. Are you? What do you mean?

(27:08):
Scapp it? Well, now thatwe're all here, i'd like to
celebrate. The hotel sent me upthis bottle of Malaga wine right after I
arrived. I haven't had a chanceto sample it yet, but now it's
a very fitting time. I'd say, Conswella, here's your glass. Skill,
thank you. Conswella, don't youwant your glass? I am sorry,

(27:29):
but I do not drink. I'mtold this is a pretty special wine.
Conswella, but I have just toldyou I do not drink. But
this is a special occasion. I'dlike to propose a toast to a safe
journey to the States by doctor. We check and manescuill. Surely you'll drink
to that, you're mittel. Ifshe does not want to, perhaps we
should observe the toast with water. No, no, I do not wish

(27:51):
to cause trouble. Give me theglass. It's better. Okay, glasses
up, everybody, here's the what'sthe matter? Esque, aren't you drinking
with us? It is not properintricate for those who are being toasted to
drink the toast. Yeah that's right. Okay, well we'll just toast.
Doctor we check. Now you candrink to it. Menesca, go ahead.

(28:12):
I I feel faint suddenly the winewill snap you out of it.
Come on, no, I drankit, Manescu. Yeah, they're gone,
he had, Yeah, I haveit. It's pretty simple, doctor.
We check. Right after I arrivedhere and Ricky bought me a bottle

(28:33):
of poisoned wine. And the onlyother person who knew it was poisoned was
the one who told him to bringit to me. The brains of the
operation, your trusty assistant, Venesca, mature use and quiet. All this
time it was Menescu. Yeah,it looks like he didn't want you to
bring your research to the States.I guess he had other plans for it.
Then it was Manescu who shut Enricin the alley. Sure to shut

(28:56):
his mouth. But it's all overnow, and I could use the drink.
Mitchell, you drink the poison wine. Yeah, not bad either.
The wine is not poisoned. You'llswitch the bottles. It was a drink.
Yeah, sort of work too, didn't it. I guess that this
proves the old saying, doesn't it? Manesque art are you talking about?

(29:18):
They say that what you don't knowwon't hurt you, But in your case,
it looks like what you didn't knowis gonna kill you. Dangerous Assignment

starring Brian don Levy is Steve Mitchell, written by Bob Ryfe and Adrian JohnDoe,

Kahn. Be with us again nextweek at this same time when Brian don
Levy, starting in the role ofSteve Mitchell, well embark on another dangerous

(30:26):
X Tomorrow here the Big Show onNBC. Welcome back, Okay. I
love the idea of having this absolutebullfighting fanatic described the bull fight that was

(30:51):
going on. It's often a challengewith audio drama to paint a picture and
to describe things in a way thatsounds natural, and one of the drawbacks
of the medium is that in orderto have listeners be able to paint an

(31:12):
appropriate picture of what's going on,you have to have characters speak in this
totally unnatural way. Wow, thisis a NOS room. Look over there,
if they that's a blue lamb ona green table. Do you see
that blue lamp on the green table? But here, you avoid that sort

(31:32):
of thing entirely because even though thisbullfighting fan is describing things that are happening
right in front of his eyes,it's absolutely believable that he would be doing
so. And of course because he'sexcited, you get a really vivid image
in your head. So some reallygreat technique. I love that. Also,

(31:57):
I love the villain sounded so betrayedand like Steve Mitchell was playing dirty
by swapping out the bottle, youwould almost think that would go without saying
once he realized it was a trap. Well, now it is time to
thank our Patreon supporter of the day. Thank you to Andrew, Patreon supporter
