Dangerous Assignment. The original air dateJanuary the twentieth of nine fifty one and
(02:00):
the title is Missing Arctic Warfare ReportDangerous Assignments, starring Brian don Levy as
Steve Mitchell. Yeah, danger ismy assignment. I get sent to a
(02:42):
lot of places I can't even pronounce. They all spell the same thing,
though, trouble. But when Iwalk into the Commissioner's office, I don't
realize this assignment's gonna wind up withme depending for my life. I'm the
only weapon. I've got a mightypowdered puff. Morning, Commissioner Rule said
(03:05):
you had an assignment for me,I do, Steve, how would you
go about firing a rocket if thefiring mechanism was frozen? What you mean
you'd drag me in here just totry out a riddle on me? I'm
serious now I answer my question.Okay, okay, So if the firing
mechanism was frozen, I probably wouldn'tbe able to fire the rocket. I
suppose that's the wrong answer. No, it's the right answer, and that's
what's wrong, right, wrong.Hey, look, before we get into
(03:27):
a vaudeville routine, I think you'dbetter start at the beginning, Steve.
As you know, the entire Arcticarea is a potential battleground. But subzero
temperatures do a lot of strange thingsto weapons of war, all away from
impairing their accuracy, are rendering themcompletely useless. So what am I supposed
to do dream up a new plasticmade out of pumpkin seeds to protect them
from the cold. You don't haveto, it's already been dreamed up.
I don't think it's made out ofpumpkin seeds, but it's a liquid which
(03:49):
does protect weapons and electronic devices fromthe effects of subzero temperatures. Well that's
all very interesting, Commissioner, butI still don't see where I fit into
the deal. I'm coming to thatthe private company which developed this new plastic
has just concluded exhaustive field tests withit up in the Arctic. They learned,
under actual conditions, just how muchof this liquid is to be used,
how it's applied, and how itaffects the accuracy of the weapons short.
(04:10):
In short, they found out alot of pretty important information information.
Steve, their field representative, mannamed Holcombe, brought up a complete report
on it for the Western Hemisphere DefenseMeeting, which is later to be held
in Quebec, Canada tomorrow. Oh, I get it. You want me
to go up to Quebec and bodyguardthis guy Holcomb. I'm afraid it's a
little too late for that. Lastnight on a side street in Quebec they
found Holcombe's body. He was quitedead. What and the report was missing.
(04:32):
It's a bit or we get itback. Any contacts in Quebec who
might be able to help me.One Jack Mandel, head of research for
the plastic company. He's waiting foryou in Quebec right now. Steve,
get up there, talk to Mandeland go anywhere and do anything that's necessary.
Final report. Well, I said, you've got your assignment. Good
luck. The National Broadcasting Company ispresenting Dangerous Assignment, starring Brian don Levy
(05:08):
and the role of Steve Mitchell, colorful two fisted government agent. All those
places of the world where danger andintrigue walk hand in hand. There you'll
find Steve Mitchell on another dangerous assignment. Sure, I've got my assignment,
(05:29):
just a simple matter, applying theCanada to find a missing report containing secret
information about Arctic warfare. The onlyhitch is whoever's gut the report is already
killed to get it, and it'sessence you'll kill to keep it, all
of which means happy times ahead forlucky me. Well, it's thirty when
my plane lands in Quebec. JackManville of the Plastic company is waiting for
me at the airport, and hehustles me into his car. Looks like
(05:51):
a real nasty miss Mitchell. Yeah, how much do you know about it?
Mandel? Not very much. I'mafraid. Halcombe went up to the
Arctic and made the tests lottery potback to present the defense meeting. Last
night they found his body and thereport's missing. You're ahead of research for
the company, aren't you. Yes, that's right. But you didn't make
the trip up north with Holcombe.Oh, I couldn't get away. I
told him, no warman when hegot back here to Quebec, and he
(06:13):
did so I flew up here tomeet him. Looks like I got here
too late. Holcombe was the bestfriend I had. Yeah, you know
that report he had. I supposeyou know it's worth a lot of money.
Money. Yeah, I'm sure thatcertain interests would pay a big pile
to get their hands on it,and wouldn't be too particular what else they
had to do to get it.On my jobs developing plastics, I'm afraid
I'm not up on the international aspectsof it. You happen to know if
(06:35):
Holcombe was alone here in Quebec. No, his secretary, Fellos Baxter was
waiting for him. Oh, andI guess we'd better talk to her see
if she can give us any additionalinformation. I thought you'd want to talk
to her. That's where we're headingnow. Oh good, you know her
pretty well, just slightly wine. She pretty trustworthy, sure far as I
(06:55):
know, No, so far asyet. When did the Holcomb arrive in
cold day before you today and hewas killed last night? Well that means
that he was in town about twentyfour hours. I go ahead. I
didn't get any till this morning orwhy things turned out. I'm sure wish
i'd gotten his sommer. When didPhillis Baxter arrive there, you know,
several days ago? I think,Oh, this is her problem looking for
(07:21):
Missus Baxter. Yeah, I amlade. You're a little too late.
What do you mean. I'm MissusGaines, the manager here. Miss Baxter
moved out last night. What youknow where she went? She didn't say
left in sort of a hurry.Oh great work that you've gone. I
don't know where, but I've gota pretty good idea. Why, Missus
Gaines, have you had her apartmentcleaned up yet? Oh? No,
(07:43):
I haven't had time. Well,I'd like to have a look inside and
maybe get some kind of a lead. Huh you a policeman or something or
something? Here are my credentials?I see? All right, Oh there
you are. Help yourself. I'llbe down on the thanks. Come on,
Mandel, right, Mitchell. Ican't believe Phillis could be involved in
(08:05):
this thing. Oh why can't you, Mandel? Why? It just doesn't
seem like she's always been Wait aminute, what is it? Some ashes
here in the fireplace? Yeah,a couple of pieces of charred paper.
Do you think that could be themissing report? It might be. I
don't understand. If Phillis did steala report, why should she destroy it?
Because she was through with it?Through it? Look, man,
(08:26):
she couldn't memorize a report like that. That's not what I mean. Let's
see, not in the room anywhere. Let's try to closet. Huh,
I think, but a few emptyhat boxes and hey, wait a minute,
Yeah, here we are a coupleof white enameled pans or bottle of
Hypos Solutions photographic equipment. Yeah, there's your answer, Mandel. She knew
(08:48):
that report was too bulky to carry, so she transferred it to micro film.
Where you're going down to police headquarters? Somehow, I still can't believe
it she had anything to do withus. Look what kind of a description
over can you give me? Oh? She was blond, but medium hight
maybe five for blue eyes. Pretty, I guess it's about it. Well,
(09:09):
that isn't much help. I knowit's pretty general, but it's the
best I can do. You wantme to give your left place headquarters?
No thanks, I want to talkto the manager here again. Oh did
you call me? If I didn'thave any more help with you, I
will missus Gaines. Yes, I'dlike a little more information from you about
Phillis Baxter. Well, afraid Ican't help you much there. She was
(09:31):
only here for a few days.Did she have any visitors? I wouldn't
know. She came and went mostlyby night. Well, I guess my
chances aren't too good trying to finda blonde girl with blue eyes. It's
probably several thousand like that right herein Quebec. One thing sure you'll never
find Phillis Baxter. If you're lookingfor a blonde girl with blue eyes.
What do you mean by that? She was a blue niche was dark eye?
(09:52):
What but man, they'll just talk. Hey, wait a minute,
maybe you'd better describe Phillis to me. Well, as I said, she
was a it rather tall girl, quite beautiful. She ever used a great
deal of makeup, as I remember, Mascallen heavy lipstick. I see,
but thanks missus Gane, thanks alot. So Manville was lying to me,
(10:16):
and at this point he looks likenumber one on my suspect list.
I start checking on him and whatI find out makes him sound even more
interesting. Then I go to policeheadquarters and talk to a Lieutenant billings Earl
Mitchell. I will put out thedescription of Phillis back to you've given me
she if any of my men canspot her, Okay, of course she's
had a twenty four hour head start. She could be long gone by this
(10:37):
time. I know you think Manvilleis behind his scheme. I don't know
exactly where he fits in Billings, but it sure looks like he's involved somehow.
In the first place, he givesme a phony description of Phillis.
In the second place, he saidhe'd only know her slightly, and yet
he took me right to her apartment. So after I got the real description
of her from the manager, Istarted checking up on Manville and caught him
(11:00):
in another lie. He told methat he didn't arrive here in Quebec until
this morning, but I found outby checking the airport that is plane landed
last evening. I see, Well, I want to make an arrest,
yet it's more important that I findout where that report is. And to
do that, I mean, man, Bill, I knew you'd be here.
I want to talk to you.Well, that's sort of a surprise,
(11:22):
man, Bill, I thought you'dalready done your talk. I lied
to you about Phillis's description. Yeah, I know why to lie, because
Phillis and I were let's just sayI had it pretty bad for it.
Oh, I just couldn't believe andI still don't believe she's involved in this,
but I I guess I was tryingto protect her. That wasn't very
smart, man, though, asI know that now, you also lied
about when you arrived here in Quebec. Yes, why I came here earlier
(11:46):
than I said, so I couldbe with Phillis, But for several reasons,
I can't afford to have it knownthat I was involved with it.
I see, Well, so faryou haven't been what i'd call helpful in
this deal, man, though maybeI can make up forward with this.
Yeah, snapshot, that's right, snapshot of Phillis. Missus Gaines was right,
she does were pretty heavy makeup.Okay, there's more like it,
(12:07):
man, bill. Lieutenant, I'dlike you to have a lot of copies
made of this picture. Right. We'll put them out at the railroad depots,
the airports and all bus stations.Could be We're not too late,
after all, Summers, Lieutenant Billings, I am sending a picture down to
you. I want a hundred copiesright away, send some to the airport,
to the railway depot two hours. We ought to be hearing something soon.
(12:35):
She could still be hiding somewhere herein Quebec. Yeah, but I
doubt it. Her job probably isto get that micro film somewhere in a
hurry. Lieutenant Billings speaking, what'sthat you're sitting? I see right?
Afraid we are too late after all? What do you mean? A girl
(12:56):
answering Phillis Bext's description. Boarded aplane for Paris three hours ago. Harris,
Well, we've got an agent,Harris Slater. Okay, I'll cable
him to meet her plane and I'llbe on the next one. Th'steen hours
later. I'm in Paris, butSlater isn't at the airport. I started
(13:16):
walking towards the taxi stand, andthen I spot a little guy hurrying after
me and mister Mitchell. Huh.Mister Slata asked me to beat your plane.
I recognize you from the description hegave me. I am a Jacque
duval Pian representative of the plastic company. Where is later at the railroad depot?
He wants you to come down immediately. What's he doing at the railroad
depot? Didn't he grabbed fellas hereat the airport? She was not on
(13:39):
the plane. What, oh great, don't tell me they made a mistake.
Back and come back. Come Iwill take you to Slater. There
is mister Slater over there. Iyeah, I see him, Steve Eye
(14:01):
Slater, Well, what's the deal. I'm merryground. You mean I got
your cable. I'm at the planeall right, But when it landed nor
Phillis, I don't get it neededto die. So I made a quick
check and found out the plane landedin Ireland. First, she must have
gotten off there. She did getoff there, Steve, I found that
out too. But from there, according to what I can piece together,
she grabbed the plane for London anda boat across the channel and the boat
(14:22):
train here the Paris. That isthe boat train, just her driving over
there. Now, boy, she'ssure trying to cover her tracks. That
was good works. Later, Heywait, look that's Phillis who just got
off. Come on, hey,she looks like she's trying for that other
train standing there. Yeah, whattrain is that? The ball the Orientic
squares. Its final distinition is easternbo Hey wait a minute, where did
you go? Must have popped intoone of those compartments. No, no,
(14:43):
no, no, no, oh, there she is. She came
out to gay Hey, nuts soloud, looks she heard it she's taking
off to the crowd. Oh,I'm sorry, mitchellate, you don't realize.
Okay, okay, hey, Steve, there's a train coming along on
that other track. Maybe she's tryingfor it. No, no, no,
no, no, she could notbe. That is a true express
train. It does not stop it. SCUSI, Hey, wait, she
doesn't even see that train. She'swait in front of it. Sick.
(15:09):
Come on, let us please onetime, please let us Yeah? Oh
brother, oh secular, Well, this is sure the end of the line
for Phillis. Yeah. I surehope she's got that microfilm on her,
because if she hasn't, it lookslike the end of the line for us.
(15:39):
You are listening to Dangerous Assignment, starring Brian don Levy as Steve Mitchell.
Phillis Baxter's body has taken to themorgue. I give her purse and
the rest of her effects are goodgoing over, But I can't find the
microfilm anywhere, missieur Mitchell. PerhapsMademoiselle backstairs passed it along to a confederate
(16:03):
before she reached Paris. Well,if she did that, we're dead ducks.
But that doesn't add up either, devolved. If she'd already passed it
along. Why did she go toso much trouble to cover her tracks on
the way to Paris? The mostpublixing affair, sure is if I could
only get a line on who hercontact might be. Well, you're the
European representative for the plastics company.Has anybody approached you recently trying to get
(16:27):
information about this new plastic noon asa metro effect? The development of the
new plastic was kept such a secretthat even I did not know of its
existence until after the report was stolen. Hell, it sure looks like we're
up against the proverbial stone wall. That microfilm wasn't in any of her clothes,
and it wasn't in her purse.Hey, incidentally, there was something
(16:48):
else that wasn't in her purse either, and it bothers me. Oh,
Steve, what do you mean? What is its latter? That's got a
coordinasage from our agent in Istanbul.Yeah, according to the scuttle that there,
the microfilm has been placed on theopen market for sale of the highest
did her what? But the microfilmcouldn't have gotten this dumbo yet? Who
put it up for sale doesn't know? And whoever it is must be pretty
sure it's on the way. Hey, wait a minute. That train Phillis
(17:11):
was running for it the depot whenwe first saw her, Dvot, you
told me that was the Orient Express, that its final destination is Istanbol Wait,
bert Win. Phillie saw us pursuingher, she jumped out of the
compartment again. That's right, Steve, Bellis probably was planning to take that
train, but she didn't, Sowhat does that leave us. I don't
think she ever was planning to takethat train so later, what do you
(17:33):
mean? I told you there wassomething else I didn't find in her person
that bothered me. Devot. Therewas no train ticket, but in that
kise she made a minute. Waita minute, I think I got it,
Steve. You figure Phillis jumped aboardthe train just long enough to pass
the film along to someone in thatcompartment. Yeah, Hey, what compartment
was that? Anyway, let's seea third compartment from the front, I
(17:53):
believe, Yeah, in the secondcar. Okay, Devot, what's the
first stop for the train at theItalian? Okay, I can overtake it
by plane. Slater, get mea reservation for that compartment. I'm getting
on at the border Mitchell, Ihave business in Trieste. I will accompany
you there. Perhaps I may beof some help. Yeah, you might
at that. Okay, let's getgoing. Deva and I grabbed the plane
(18:21):
for the Italian border. I tookit to waiting for us. There.
We jumped into the compartment just asthe train pulls out. There are three
other passengers in the compartment, settingacross from me, holding a few assorted
travel folders in her hand, asa freshly scrub looking girl with Holland written
all over it and a kind ofcomplexion that lipstick and powder would be an
(18:41):
insult too. Next to hers,a loud talking gent who's welding a hunk
up salami around between bites, perfumingthe air with garlic, and over in
the corner, a smooth looking boyis reading a newspaper. He's got a
briefcase in his hand. You likesomebody salami? Oh? No, thank
you, but it's the best salamiyou ever ate? You mean? I
(19:03):
never rate? Thanks a lot,but no thanks. I'm not a salami
fan. It's a pity. What'sa pity? A few people know what
a wonderful thing is salami. Thegreatest thing is in the leaning tower of
a pizza salami. It keeps mefrom catching a cold, It saddles me
(19:25):
in the stomach, and once iteven kept me from getting robbed. Getting
robbed see and then came up tome once on the darkest tree in Melano.
It the men drolled my money.See but with my good friend is
salami? I overcame. You're breathinga space No, I hit him over
the head with it. Oh it'sa good shalami. Hell powerful anyway,
(19:51):
Look what you mind not waving andunder my nose? Okay, I'll wave
it in my mouth. Oh fine, yeah, you like is some wine?
Thanks? Well? How about yourfriend? Oh no, Norcy,
not the little lady? Then no, thank you? Oh so nobody likes
(20:11):
it. Uh it looks like quitea collection of travel folders you've got there,
miss, said Karen. Oh yeah, yeah, I do not dream.
There are so many places in theworld. Oh not much of a
traveler. Oh no, no,this is first time I ever leave home.
(20:33):
What the part of Holland is home? Right, Rotterdam? But how
do you know I am Dutch girl? Well, let Presley Starston scrub look
is pretty hard the mistake? Yeah, yeah, I suppose If I am
to travel, I should do asother women do. Mamma would never let
me wear lipstiff. But mam youare doing fine without it. You're on
(20:56):
a vacation. No no, Igo to live with uncle in Arabia last
week, Mamma pass away. Ohyeah, nice cheese anybody? Oh brother,
you must have a hollow leg?Oh no, No, Heat and
a drink is good when ride. How about when you're not writing well?
(21:18):
Is just as good. That manin the corner reading the newspaper. Not
much of a talker, is it. He has been watching you over the
top of his paper. Look atthe briefcase in his lap. Briefcase.
Heystant whatever he's got in there,it must be pretty important micro feme for
instance, anything new in the paper? Oh no, only the usual.
(21:44):
Happen to know what our next stopis? I know, I do not.
That's your first trip. We missyou? If you do not mind?
I am reading. Yes, soI see. Real friendly, isn't
it. It would be very interestingto find out what is in his briefcase.
Yeah yeah, but I still gotsome salami left. Don't worry,
(22:06):
we can smell it. I'm goingout for some air. Develop that garlic
is killing me. Hey, waitay, keep an eye on dim when
you're a gun. I go outon the platform between the cars. It's
dark. I light up a cigaretteand then I hear the door open behind
me. I start to turn around, but just then something hard connects with
the back of my head. Ihit the floor, stunned. I fight
(22:27):
my way to my hands and knees, and then I feel a rush of
air. The outside door has beenopened. I feel somebody's dragging me towards
it. I try to hold back, but I'm still groggy. A final
shove and I slide out the door, but just as I do, I
managed to drab the handrail. I'mswinging loose, now, hanging on by
one hand. Then somebody's foot startskicking at my hand. I can't hold
on much longer. Suddenly the kickingstops. I hear running steps and I'm
(22:48):
being hauled back up on the platform. Oh, the conductor, you get
a commotion and phone. You hangingby one hand? You're a spot.
The guy who tried to is meout, so someone leaving as I approached,
but it was too dark tokill wego. I say, okay,
thanks for the lift, bust ohgreat, my watchdog the wow wow Michell
(23:26):
yeah Mitchell, your hand it isleading. Yeah, I had plenty one
four summer over it. What happenedto me? Where's the guy with a
briefcase? He left the compartment rightafter you did? Oh great, help
you are due. I am selfieMitchell. I guess the airing him and
miss draws you here. I havehandkerchief in my purse. I would band
(23:48):
in your hands with you. Ohokay, thanks Karen. Yeah, there
you are about you, Bronnie, all about it? But only did you
leave the compartment? Oh me?Not on the busy eating? Hey where
are you going? Oh? Iget over at Trieste, But I leave
(24:10):
you the rest of It's a misterMitchell, this PIRONI what about him?
Karen? Well, he lied toyou. He he did leave the compartment
after you did. What. Yeah, I was afraid to tell you in
(24:32):
front of him Richard. And nowhe's getting off at Trieste. We had
better follow him. I still wantto know what happened to the gent with
a briefcase? He well, speakof the devil? Are you referring to
me? Miss you? I shareI ambuster? Where have you been?
Why? I do not see thatit's your affair. You could be wrong.
I said, where have you been? I was getting a drink of
(24:52):
water? If that meets with youraproof, you're sure you were not on
a platform a few minutes ago, slugging me over the head. I do
not know what you are talking about. I told you why. I was
getting a drink of water, prettylong drink of water. Monsieur. I
am certain these things are none ofyour business. You were getting off here
at Trieste? Do I look asif I'm getting off a train? Then
where are you heading? Istambul? Now see him as sure? I've had
(25:15):
enough of these important questions. Whatis the meaning of this scappar? Come
on the vow. We must hurry. The train will be starting up at
any moment. I'm staying what whatthe girl has just told us? It
is, PIONI light about a hunchof you want, but I'm going on
to Istanbul. But if this hunchof yours I'll have to take. But
(25:36):
we'll be covered one way or theother. How do you mean you're getting
off here at Trieste? Anyway? But of course, oh I can follow
this, PIRONI okay, go toit, but just one thing though,
and what is it? Try tostay awake, will you? Man?
The vow scurries off the train afterthe salami kid and I settle back in
(25:59):
the Compire and the rest of theway to Istanbul, I keep my eye
on the gent with a briefcase. He divides his time between reading his newspaper,
taking a few naps, giving mean occasional nasty glance, and making
a few mild pictures at Karen, who, in her wide eyed way,
seems thoroughly flattered by the attention. Finally we arrive at Istanbul. Karen heads
for a hotel and the guy isclose on her heels. I follow them
(26:19):
into the bar and take a tablenear the corner where I can keep my
eye on him. Then, aftera while he gets up. I follow
suit, but much to my surprise, he heads from my table. I
think this met he has gone intellifar enough. Mitchell, Oh, I
know exactly what you are left, but wrist assured you will naviget it.
(26:41):
Well that's interesting then, no,Well, now that we understand each other,
you are obviously a nature all amatter of fact, my arrival manufacturer,
you have learned of a new creation. Hey, hey, wait a
minute, an agent for a rivalmanufacturer. What are you talking about,
my friend? Do not attempts upthe fuge. It is up the issue.
Have learned to find new creation, learned that we intend to introduce in
(27:02):
the Middle East, And so youfollowed me, thinking you would get a
chance to steal it, so thatcheap imitations could be attempted. Chief say,
look, who are you working foranyway? As you know for Enre
Boney whoever that is, You donot know who, And I'm beginning to
think I don't know what you've gottenthat briefcase either, But you must have
(27:22):
heard of the firm Enribonnay in allof France, they most famous, the
most exclusive creator of woman's girdles.Girdles you mean to say, that's what
you're carrying and your briefcase? What, of course our new mother, exquisite
and revolutionary. Not a two way, not a three way, but a
four way stretch. Oh great,a girdle salesman. Yet that does it?
(27:48):
If I wait a minute, whatis the matter? I just remembered
something I noticed on the train. It didn't make sense, And though right
now I'll see you later four away, I spot Karen just as he's easing
out of the bar. I followher upstairs and catch up with it.
Justice. She's entering her room, mister Mitchell. Yeah, mister Mitchell,
(28:11):
look, let's go inside. Iwant to talk to you. But come
on, come on inside. Whatis the meaning of these I think the
meaning of it is in your purse. Let's have it. No, No,
let's thanks. No, it'll takea look. I will call the
police. I don't think so.I ought to be here, sumhere here.
(28:33):
It is a compact. Yeah, but of course, what is so
strange about a woman's compact. Nothingexcept when it's carried by a woman who
doesn't wear any makeup. I spottedit in your purse when you bandage my
hand with your handkerchief, but itdidn't register until now. No, you
don't wear any makeup, Karen. But Phillis Baxter did she passed a compact
to you at the Deepole in Paris? No, No, that is not
(28:56):
true. Quite yes, I rejectthe compact, Mitchell. Well, what
do you know, my friend deVal? What'd you do? Fly here
from Trieste? It's been you andKaren ride from the start. Kill him
the val presently big compact? Mitchell, give it to me at once.
(29:17):
You're the boy who slugged me onthe train. Pretending to be asleep in
the compartment was a good cover foryou. And Karen tried to throw suspicion
on Pironia Mitchell, but I knewit wasn't him. If it had been,
i'd have gotten a whiffer that garlicon the platform. Mitchell. I
will not ask you again. Giveme that compact. You know. Hiding
the microfilm in this compact's a goodgag. Where have you got it inside

if you'd been wearing any makeup,I probably never would have tumbled to the

Assignment came to you from Hollywood tomorrow, be sure to hear the Big Show
on NBC Welcome Back. This wasan interesting episode because if you watch our
(31:33):
video theater series, we just playedthe TV episode that adapted part of this
radio program. The TV episode wasset mostly on the train and then in
the scenes following, and there werea few details added at the beginning to
(31:56):
make the general story ideas and plotfrom this episode work in this new format.
And you can understand why that wouldbe. With television, particularly early
television. One of the great strengthsof radio that Dangerous Assignment really plays into
(32:17):
is that over radio you can tellthese really great, sprawling, epic stories.
You can have so many scenes andsettings, whereas to do that in
a TV program or movie requires anexponentially higher budget. And in the nineteen
fifties, regardless of the budget andthe Dangerous Assignment TV show at a limited
(32:44):
budget, it would look not looknearly as good as the listeners to the
Dangerous Assignment radio program could imagine.I did find myself wondering whether the guy
in Quebec would end up having somethingto do with the deal. I can
say the deal because we're talking aboutDangerous Assignment and everything is always the deal.
(33:07):
I was wondering if he would endup having something to do with the
deal in this right up until Irecognize that this was going down the same
path as the TV episode the SalamiStory. Now it's time to thank our
