(01:57):
Well, it came to my attentionthat we're hitting a milestone today. It
was five thousand days ago today. On October twenty sixth, two thousand and
nine, we started doing daily podcastepisodes. Now, we'd released a pilot
two weeks before, because the conceptof podcast trailers hadn't been invented yet,
(02:23):
or if they had, I wastoo ignorant to know about them. But
October twenty sixth was when we started. Now, obviously we haven't released an
episode every day, but for fivethousand straight days, this podcast has been
putting out daily podcast episodes, firstMonday through Friday, and then Monday through
(02:45):
Saturday. So appreciative for everyone whohas listened and who continues to listen to
the podcast. Thank you so much. Well, now let's get into this
week's episode of Dangerous Assignment. Theoriginal air date April fourteenth, nineteen fifty
one, and the title as Stolenun Documents Dangerous Assignment starring Brian don Levy
(03:22):
as Steve Mitchell. Yeah, dangeris my assignment. I get sent to
(03:44):
a lot of places I can't evenpronounce. They all spell the same thing,
though, trouble. But when Iwalk into the Commissioner's office, I
don't realize this assignment's going to windup with me depending for my life on
a trayful of dirty dishes. Morningcommissioner had an assignment for me. By
(04:04):
do Steve, you're playing leaves forthe Middle East in one hour the Middle
least. Don't tell me I haveto crawl along that pipeline over there looking
for leaks. You'll be looking forleaks, all right, but not oil.
I don't get you, Steve. We're on the verge of suffering a
very serious diplomatic and strategic defeat.Well, nothing like an old a chair
to start the day on. Ialways say, what's the deal? Take
a look at this map of theMiddle East? Steam sometime now. We've
(04:26):
been negotiating very secretly. But thiscountry here, what kind of negotiations,
negotiations which would pave the way forUnited Nations bases in that area? I
see? But why all the secrecy? The country in question insisted on it?
You see, they've been periodically intimidatedby powerful interest to the northeast of
them. They wanted to have allthe negotiations concluded before any information concerning them
(04:47):
fell into what we might call thewrong hand. Wait a minute, you
say there's been a leak. Isthat what you're talking about? Exactly this
morning, we learned through confidential sourcesthat the document containing the complete preliminary discussions
we got military installations is now inthe hands of those hostile interests I was
talking about, How did that happen? That's exactly what you're flying to the
Middle East to find out, Steve. I sure get all the senses,
(05:10):
don't I, Steve, It's vitalwe plug up this league. If we
don't, the entire negotiations may collapse, which would seriously endanger our entire position
in the Middle East. You saya copy of the document got into the
wrong hands. Does anybody know whichcopy it was? Yes, that particular
copy was last in the possession ofa man named Khalid. He's the Middle
Eastern country's representative in the negotiation. What's his story about it? He says
(05:30):
the document was stolen from his housebrother. That particular story is pretty ancient.
Yes, he may be lying. It's up to you to find out.
Get over there, Steve, talkto this colleague and do whatever you
have to to get to the bottomof this whole rotten mess. Well,
that's it. You've got your assigning. Good luck. The National Broadcasting Coverty
(06:01):
is presenting Dangerous Assignments, starring Briandon Levy as Steve Mitchell, colorful two
fisted government agent. At all thoseplaces of the world where danger and intrigue
walk hand in hand, there you'llfind Steve Mitchell one another dangerous assignment.
(06:23):
Sure, I've got my assignment, just a little matter of dropping over to
the Middle East investigating a government figurenamed Colliad to find out if he's the
boy who has been peddling diplomatic secretsto the wrong parties, all of which
is pretty sure to make me slightlyunpopular with both the government figure and the
wrong parties. Yep, I've gotan uneasy hunch I'm about to get voted
the boy they'd most like to seedrop dead. It's Thursday morning when my
(06:45):
plane lands in the Middle East country, and I figure my first step is
to talk to this colleague. SoI find out his address and grab a
taxi. It's a large house outof the city, and I walk up
to the front door and then Isee that it's occupied. You have business
here, perhaps perhaps now, ifyou'll quit blocking the door, so I
cannot you wish to see Khalid?Perhaps, perhaps again, if it's okay
with you, you will tell mewhy you wish to see Khalid. Perhaps
(07:09):
you just spoiled your average. Look, I don't know who you are,
why you're roosting in front of thedoor. But I came here to talk
to Kalid, not you. Now, if you'll just get out of my
way out before you may talk toKhalid, it is quite necessary that I
know who you are. Are youhis bodyguard or something? You might say
that one of my men is actingas bodyguard for the moment. I don't
get it. Bustered Hamma, lieutenant, Hamma police, Lieutenant, Hamma,
(07:31):
oh police, Yes, and nowyou will tell me who you are.
Perhaps take a look at my credentials. Perhaps so. It does not surprise
me to meet the United States agenthere after the unfortunate incident of the theft
of the document. But it doessort of surprise me to see a police
detective here. Have you got Kalidunder arrest? Let us just say he
(07:51):
is being detained for the moment inhis house on account of the document,
on account of his wife. What'shis wife got to do with it at
presentness, You see last night shewas murdered. Why wait, you think
Khalid killed it? We do notknow at present. Her body was discovered
this morning in a ditch several hundredmeters down the road. Come, I
(08:11):
will show you the place. Hereis the ditch where the wife's body was
discovered, Mitchell, at that spotover there. To be exact, you
say her body was discovered this morning, Lieutenant Harma, that is correct.
(08:33):
But the time of her death is, as near as we can learn,
was some time before midnight last night. How was she killed? Shot?
Stab? It appears she was beatento death. Where was her husband last
night? Khalid? He claims tohave been at a civic function. We
are checking up on his story.Would you like to question him in a
minute. First, What isn't itokay? Up here by the road near
(08:58):
the ditch? Those footprints? Yeah, yes, yes, I noticed them
too, a man's footprints beside theroad. Of course, there are quite
a few feet from the spot wherethe body was, and maybe there's no
tie in. But to play safe, it might be a good idea to
have a technician from your police labcome out here and check them. Over,
I will give the necessary orders.Okay, Now, I'd like to
(09:20):
go back to the house and talkto College and see just what kind of
a story he's got for us.If there is anything I can do to
help clear up this matter, Iwill be only too glad to do so.
That's being pretty cooperative College. Thesooner the murder is solved, the
(09:41):
sooner my name will be cleared ofthese absurd and vicious charges of betraying my
country by allowing secret documents to passinto the hands of the others. A
minute, colleague, what makes youthink your wife's murder is tied in with
the other deal? Why? Ijust assumed that it was. I see.
I'd like you to tell me whereyou were last night, Khalid.
Of course, Aborah and I wentfirst to dinner at Ali's restaurant. Who's
(10:03):
Abora, my aid and secretary goon. Then he drove me over to
the new civic building. The dedicationceremony was last night. The building is
not ready for use yet as thecement work is not completed, but they
wished to dedicate it anyway, andI was the principal speaker. After the
ceremony, Aborah and I drove backhere to my home. What time was
it, I would say it wasabout midnight when we got here. The
(10:26):
lights were on, but my wifewas missing. There were evidences of a
struggled, furniture overturned and blood stains. I immediately called the police. We
commenced the search immediately, nuture, but it was not a dull this morning
that the body was discovered. Oh, poor Saharida Khalid. Did your wife
have any enemies? Enemies somebody whohad a reason for killing her? But
(10:48):
everyone loved Saharida. She was kindand gentle. Looks like at least one
person didn't exactly a lover her.Wait, old Mikhan, Oh Mikhan,
our servant. My wife missed himseveral days ago? Or why? She
would not tell me her reasons, and I did not press her, but
I believe there was a quarrel betweenthem at the time. I see any
idea where we could find this servant? No, no, when my wife
(11:11):
dismissed me, come, he movedinto the city. But where I do
not know her. Kaleed, canyou describe him for us? I can
do better than that. I believethere is a picture of him in one
of these drawers. Ah yes, yes, here you are, gentlemen.
Here it is thanks. Just onemore thing, khalied, Yes, I'm
still interested in knowing why you connectyour wife's murder to the other incident regarding
(11:35):
the document. Why, I supposebecause the two events took place within a
few days of each other. Accordingto Lieutenant Hammer, your story is that
somebody stole that document from your househere. But of course if you have
it locked up and a safe, well, no, it was in a
desk draw sounds like a pretty carelessway to treat an important document, kalied.
On the contrary, I felt Iwas being clever, mister Mitchell.
(11:58):
I reasoned that the obvious place wouldbe the safe, and that if I
merely placed the document in a deskdrawer, it would be safer. But
it would appear that my stratagem backfiled. Yeah, sure would appear that
way. Well, come on,Lieutenant Hamma, if I may be if
any further help in this matter, gentlemen, please let me don't worry.
We will. Well what do youthink Mitchell about Khalid? Yes, I
(12:22):
don't know, Lieutenant Hamma. Heseems real anxious to help, Maybe a
little too anxious. That was mythought too. His story sounded almost rehearsed.
I beg your partner, gentleman,Yes, it is permitted to see
Khalid now, I am Abura hisaid. Sure. Sure, but we'd
like to ask you a couple ofquestions. First, A Bora, certainly,
were you with Khalid last evening?Yes? Or evening right? Yes,
(12:46):
up until the time I drove himhome, which was about midnight.
It was then that we discovered thedisappearance of his wife. That coincides with
what Khalid told us Mitchell, Yeah, what did the tour you do last
night? A Bora? Why?First we had dinner at a restaurant named
Alice, a favorite place at Khalid. Then I drove him to the building
(13:07):
which he was to dedicate that itwas the ceremony and his speech. After
that, I drove him back tohis house. Here I say, well,
all checks okay, Bora, thankyou, you're quite welcome. Come
on. Yes, Well that sortof puts Kalid in the clear, I
guess yes, and it increases myinterest in his servant, great Kan.
(13:31):
Yeah, I think we'd better tryand locate him right now. See if
we can find out just why Khalid'swife can them? So we start checking
all the hotels and rooming houses inthe city. Four hours and sixteen hotels
later, we find a desk clerkwho recognizes the picture of Macan. He
tells us Mikan checked out an hourago and took a taxicab to the depot.
(13:54):
We do likewise, in a hurry. Mutually, it would appear that
our case is beginning to fall intoplace. Several days ago, the secret
document disappears. Shortly after that,Kalid's wife dismisses the servant Mikhan. Last
night, Kali's wife is murdered, and now this morning Mikhan appears to be
trying to free the city. Ithink Mikhan's the boy who stole a document
and knocked off Khalid's wife. Itwould certainly appear that he wait, wait,
(14:18):
yeah, yeah, that's Mikhan.Come on. The train is ready
to pull out. Mikan is tryingto get a board. Yeah, he's
not gonna make it. We're againand on him. He is old he
cannot move quickly, okay, Mikan, So saw Mikhail let go of me.
Thanks. It seemed to be inan awful hurry to get out of
town. Migan. I was justtaking a vacation to you. Do not
(14:39):
lie that newspaper under your arm.It just folded to the story of the
murder of Kaleide's wife. That iswhy you were leaving. Do not deny
it? Very well? Yes,yes, satisfy, I was leaving.
I knew that I would be brainedfor the killing. Oh but I'm innocent.
I swear I did not kill her. You were dismissed by her several
days ago. There was a violentquarrel between Yes, yes, What was
(15:01):
the quarrel about Mikan? All right? Answer? What was the quarrel about?
All right? I cannot tell you. Indeed, then I have something
to tell you. You are underarrest and suspicion of murder. Mitchell,
(15:22):
I must say, I do notunderstand nor enjoy your attitude. Here we
have a very logical suspect, aman who can give us no alibi whatsoever
for last night, and who refusesto tell us why he quarreled with a
dead woman. Yet you are notsatisfy either, or Mama. You're not
trying to convince me, You're tryingto convince yourself. Now see here,
Mitchell, you don't believe Mikan's themurderer, and documents stealer anymore than I
(15:45):
do. I yes, yes,you are right, Mitchell. It does
not seem very likely that a poor, simple old servant who had been in
the employee for many years would suddenlybetray his mistress husband and kill his mistress.
But if Mikan is innocent, wheredoes that leave us right in the
middle of nowhere? Excuse me,Lieutenant Hammer speaking, Yes, yes,
(16:11):
what is that you are certain ofthis? I see very well, Thank
you well, Mitchell. Indeed wedo have the wrong man in jail.
What do you mean I am nowconvinced that the old servant is innocent,
and moreover, I know who theguilty man is. Well, don't leave
me there. That was the policelaboratory. Those footprints who observed beside the
(16:32):
road near where the wife's body wasdiscovered in the ditch. Yeah, you
were going to have the lab jaydid check them and compared them with the
prince. Of all those who hadany possible connection with the case. They
belonged to Khalid's aid A Buddha threetimes being good times on Envy's see,
(17:00):
there's fun for you tomorrow with twoof your favorite families, the Blandings and
the Harrises. Mister and Missus Blandingsstars Carry Grant and Betsy Drake in the
title roles as the proud but somewhatbewildered owners of the famous dream House.
The Phil Harris Alice Face Show starsFell and Alice, of course, plus
several helpful Frankie Remley, brother Willieand delivery boy Julius. Yes, there
are lives Tomorrow and every Sunday withMister and Missus Blandings and the Phil Harris
(17:23):
Alice Face Show. You are listeningto Dangerous Assignments starring Brian don Levy as
Steve Mitchell. So all of asudden it looks like our cases winding up
(17:48):
fast. We beat it back outto college's house. A Bora is still
there, A gentlemant doing it anddistended reason for these question? Nor do
I Abora? Is my aid?I trust him completely? Yeah, Abora,
I thought you told us you werewith Khalid all evening. Why certainly?
Then, how do you explain thefootprints beside the road? Footprints?
I do not understand. You spottedsome footprints beside the road near the ditchwa
(18:14):
Khalid's wife's body was found. Thepolice lab says that they're you're a prince,
Aborah. What there must be somemistake. Indeed, there was a
mistake, and it appears that youmade it. Aborah. Wait, wait
what is it? Khalid? Butof course, Aborah, do you not
remember what are you talking about?Kali? The car, the engine trouble.
Oh, yes, the shock ofbeing suspected made me forget, forget
(18:36):
what you see on the way homelast evening, Mitchell, we had engine
trouble. The car sputtered and died. Aborah got out to investigate, found
the trouble and fixed it. Thatis apparently how his footprints happened to be
beside the road. It callid tothink that we were within a few feet
of your wife's body at the time. Well, Mitchell, Lieutenant, another
lead up and smoke. A veryperplexing case. Mitchell. Suddenly we have
(19:07):
no suspect. I know CALLI couldn'tvery well have done it if he was
dedicating a building at the time. And Kelly told us Abura left those prints
beside the road while repairing the car. That appears to clear Abura and either
one of us believe that the oldservant may con did the job. Well,
perhaps someone we do not know killedKelly's wife. Yeah, but what
gets me is why was she killed? Was it to shut her mouth about
(19:30):
something where there some kind of adouble cross involved? If we could but
answer those questions? What's the matterhere at my desk? I just noticed
there is a note for me.The laboratory technician has been trying to get
in touch with us, Mitchell. He has something further to report. Oh,
where is the lab downstairs in thebasement. Come on, let's find
out what's on his mind. Herewe are, Mitchell. This door on
(20:03):
the left okay? Locked? Thetechnician must be out looking for us.
You got a key, Yes,yes, we can wait for him inside
after you. Thanks. Where's thelight switch on the wall to your left?
Now, hey, i'm a they'reon the floor. Yes, I
(20:26):
see brother. That the technician, yes, stabbed to death. Looks like
whatever he wanted to tell us somebodyelse didn't want him. Yes, so
I guess now we'll never know whatit was. Perhaps we will, Mitchell,
What do you mean if we arelucky? You see, it is
required at all reports to be preparedand duplicate. Hey, maybe the killer
(20:48):
didn't know that. That is ourone hole where the duplicate copies kept in
this basket. Wait, perhaps thisis it. Further report and footprints near
sea of murder. Yeah, itmust be it. Let's have it here.
I see, I don't get it. Don't get what. He says
that there were traces of cement duston some of those footprints of a Boras
(21:11):
near the ditch, but no cementdust on the rest of the princes.
But what does that mean? Idon't know. Wait, he examined the
footprints around colleague's house. He saysthat colleagues foot prints also showed traces of
cement dust. Mitchell, this isvery strange. Get the scene of the
crime. Some of a Borah's footprintscontained cement dust, others did not.
(21:33):
Then at the house, College's printscontained some of the cementus. I do
not see what hold at a minute, Yeah, I think a few things
just fell into place. Look, suppose you go over the lab here and
see if there are any clues tothe technician's killer. I'm going over and
have another talk with Collide. ButI do not understand the purpose of your
(22:00):
visit, mister Mitchell. Surely Ihave answered all of your questions. I
don't think so, Khalid. Look, I want you to think back to
the evening of the murder again. Now tell me exactly what happened. But
we have been over it before, and we're going over it again. Very
well. My aid Aborah drove meinto the city. We had dinner at
a favorite restaurant of mine, aplace named Ali's. Yeah, yeah,
(22:21):
go on. After that, Aborahdrove me to the new building which I
was to dedicate, and from thenon, Abora wasn't out of your side,
that's right. Well, well,of course he had to go back
to get my speech. What's that? Why? Yes, I I guess
I forgot to mention that to youbefore you sure did you see? When
I arrived at the new building,I discovered that my speech was missing from
the pocket of my coat, areason that it must have slipped out while
(22:44):
we were dining. So I sentAbora back to the restaurant to get it.
I say, how long was hegone? Oh? Ten or fifteen
minutes? Perhaps? Would it hadbeen longer than that? I suppose a
few minutes more. Look, Khalid, it's very important we established just how
long a Bora was gone. Iknow it could not have been more than
a half hour, because I wasscheduled to speak a half hour after I
(23:07):
arrived, and Aborah had returned withthe speech before. Then wait a minute.
You said that a Bora brought yourspeech back to you, but of
course that is what I sent himafter. Yeah, I could figure,
all right, he could have liftedit out of your pocket. Then when
he came back he handed it toyou, and you figured he'd gone back
to the restaurant to get it.Mitchell, I do not understand. I'll
explain in a minute. Now.Look, did you discover your speech who
(23:29):
was missing as soon as you arrivedat the new building? Yes, as
I was getting out of the car, and you sent a Bora back after
it right away. Yes, soAbora when he left hadn't been in the
new building at all. But yes, that is right. Of course he
came inside the building a half hourlater when he returned my speech to me.
Yeah, that's what I thought. Now, I'd like to know about
(23:49):
a few locations. Locations that newbuilding you dedicated. How far is it
from your house here? Why abouta fifteen minute ride I see? And
this restaurant where you ate Ali's howfar is that from the new building?
Why that is also about a fifteenminute drive in the opposite direction from the
building. Mitchell, these questions youare asking, surely you do not suspect
(24:12):
that Abura is involved in this affairright now? It's a lot more than
just a suspicion, Kalied, Whatwhy? I cannot believe we all the
way it adds up, Abora swipedyour speech, then when you told him
to go back to Ali's restaurant toget it, he drove to your house
instead, killed your wife, andthen returned to the new building with your
speech. But but why would hekill my wife? That I'm not sure
(24:34):
of yet, but my hunch isthat it ties in with the theft of
that document. Mitchell, your suspicionof Abura, Can you prove it?
That's what I'm going to find outright now, Kalied, how I'm going
over to that restaurant and talk toAli. If he tells me that Aborah
didn't come back there to get yourspeech that night, then I guess that's
the final nail in Aborah's coffin hadfor allis It's almost midnight when I get
(25:00):
there, and there aren't any customers, and a little guy is sitting at
a table in the center of theplace all alone, are you Ali?
Yes? What is it? Myname is Mitchell. I'd like to ask
you a couple of questions about lastnight. Questions. What question? Two
men came to your restaurant last evening, Khalid and his aid A Borah.
That is quite right. They frequentlydined here. Did you see either one
(25:22):
of them again after they left here? Yes? Why don't tell me it
was Abora? Well? Yes?He returned about half an hour later and
said that Khalid had misplaced his speech. Abura sutched on the table where they
had eaten, found the script andleft. Oh fine, what is the
matter? Nothing much except by airtype case. Just sprang a king sized
(25:45):
leak. He didn't understand. Ohyou've got company there, Ali, I
don't understand either. Aborah was onlygone from the new building a half an
hour. It's fifteen minutes each wayfrom there to here and from there to
Khalid's house, so he couldn't havegone both places during that time. If
he came here, be sure,it couldn't have gone to College's house and
killed his wife. Findya. Ido not know what any of it is
(26:07):
about. But if you're through askingquestions, I suggest that you leave.
It is late and I am tired. I would like to close up.
Okay, a funny. I'd havesworn a boro with my boy, but
right now he's looking awfully clean,so it leaves me right back where I
started, fresh out of leads. Please find if you do not mind.
Okay, hey must be hotter thanI thought in here. You're starting to
(26:30):
sweat all of a sudden, soI'm not feeling very well now, if
you please leave? Yeah, yeah, I'm leaving right now. What stopped
me cold is the wall behind Ali. There's a serving window there, but
it's pulled down so that there's justa crack left. And in that crack
(26:52):
I spot a glint of metal,a gun barrel. All of a sudden,
I know why Allie's sweating, andalso I know I'm not fresh out
of leads. After all. Istart edging towards the or real casual alike,
but I don't quite make it.That will keep you right where you
are until I can get around thepartition. Mitt, Yeah, bora,
it's sure a will. It wouldappear that Ali here is not a very
(27:12):
skillful actor. I don't know.It seems to me i'd sweat too.
If I knew you were holding agun, Anny, please do not kill
me. I did as you ordered. I said everything you told me to
say. I will deal with youlater. Ali, you know Bora.
I think I finally figured out whyyou killed Khalid's wife. Indeed, yeah,
she was the one who stole thatdocument for you. That's probably why
(27:33):
she fired the old servant Maykan. He found out about it and confronted her,
but when we questioned them, hewas still loyal enough to her memory
not to tell us anything. Quiteright, Khalid's wife did procure the document
for me, but when she learnedthat the United States for sending an agent
over here to investigate, she becamefrightened. She said she was going to
tell Khalid everything after he returned fromdedicating the building, So you knew you'd
(27:59):
have to shut her. Man.You lifted Collide's speech out of his pocket
at dinner, and knowing he'd discoveredwas missing, and send you after it.
That gave you time to get toCollege's house. His wife knew why
you'd come. She ran out ofthe house. You chased her to that
ditch and killed her there. Itquite right, MITCHI later you realized you
might have left footprints near the ditch. So when you were driving Collide home,
you faked engine trouble at that spotand got out of the car and
(28:22):
planted some more footsteps there as acover. May I ask how you found
out about me image the cement dustdripped you up. You killed the lab
technician to get his report. Whatyou didn't know was that there was a
duplicate copy that was rather stupid thanme, hasn't it. Yeah? That
report showed traces of cement dust insome of your prints and none in others.
I remembered Collied telling me that thecement work in that new building wasn't
(28:45):
even finished yet. That meant cementdust on the floors. You hadn't set
foot in the building yet when Collidsent you after the speech. So when
you killed his wife and left thosefirst footprints, there was no cement dust
in them. Yeah, But later, when I pretended cart trouble and got
out of the car, I didhave cement as in the bottom of my
shoe. That's right, because inthe meantime you've been inside that building.
While Khalid was making a speech,I ad my ear clever and if Nichell
(29:10):
it is a pity it comes toolate for you. Oh what happens now?
Take clever men, such as yourstuff. The answer should be quite
obvious. You and Ali here arethe only ones who know my little secret
of Buda. No, you're notgoing to I'm invade. I must Ali.
Yes, I must kill both.Yeah, I got news for you,
a Bora. You're gonna have tochoose which one of us to kill.
(29:30):
What do you mean I will killboth of you? I don't think
so. Ali and I are onopposite sides of the room and you're in
the center. You shoot one ofus the other old jump You've so which
one of us is going to beTake your pick. I'm just running a
bluff. Ali's too terrified to beof any help. But the bluff works
because the Bora takes his eyes offme. A second does shoot a glance
(29:52):
at Ali, and that second islong enough. I dive for the light
switch. The slug whistles over me. I hugged the floor in the dark,
I can fish my gun out ofmy pocket. Now I'm going to
wait and let a Bora make thenext move. Then I hear a car
outside. There's light enough through thewindow to tell me it's Lieutenant Hamma.
This is just great. If hewalks in that door, he'll get a
slug and if I try to warnhim, I'll reveal my position and then
(30:15):
I'll collect the slug. Get tothink of something fast and my Tobo bunched
an object beside me, a servingcart loaded with dishes. I push it
a few inches. The wheels don'tmake any noise. I give it a
shot towards the wall and wait.Bora throws a shot in the direction of
the noise. I spot the flashand let him have a car. I'm
(30:38):
okay, Lieutenant, get the lights. Callie told me you over here.
By the looks of Abura, Iwould say, the work has been done.
Yeah, is it safe now?Ah, you can crawl out from
under that table Allie. So Aburahwas a killer. Yeah, he threw
me off the trail by getting Allieto give him an alibi. But I
finally tumbled to it. Yeah,a Boora had a pretty scheme rigged.
