nation's drug epidemic has more than nineteenthousand members, and it's growing at an
average rate of three hundred new membersper week. And more frighteningly, our

the Government Accountability Institute says that's preciselywhat China is doing to President Biden,
and this puts our nation at risk. The Chinese have a term for it.

capture elites in other countries. They'vedone it in Australia, New Zealand,
they're doing it in the United States. And they basically want to entice elites
by giving them sweetheart deals, helpingmake them rich, because that's going to
give them leverage over those elites.That's what you have with the Bidens.
Schweitzer's research exposed the tens of millionsof dollars that were transferred from Chinese companies

directly connected with the Communist Party intoHunter Biden's businesses and bank accounts. Think
about, and you've done a lotof great reporting on this in the past,
the situation with the alleged meetings withthe Russians in Trump Tower and all
the Russia collusion stuff that was presentedin the context of concerns about national security

the integrity of the First Family,which all of course ended up not being
true. In the case of theBidens, you have the fact that Hunter
Biden and the Biden family is receivedby the account of the laptop and other
material, some thirty one million dollars. I talk about this in my book.
And if you look at the fourbusinessmen mentioned in the emails that set
those deals up, Sarah, eachand every one of them has ties to

the highest levels of Chinese intelligence.Meaning one guy who helped arrange a twenty
million dollars deal from Hunter Biden atthe back same time, at the exact
same time he did that deal wasbusiness partners with a vice minister for State

tactic of foreign intelligence to target seniorgovernment officials and their families. In twenty

well in terms of supporting its allies, and that there are a few of
them left. China is even tryingto beat America to the punch when it
comes to energy, and many ofthe investments we're making as a nation to

workers in the back. China isquickly cornering the market on wind turbines and
solar panels. Peter Schweitzer of theGovernment Accountability Institute says this leaves American manufacturers

of course being subsidized by their government. But guess what, Joe Biden got
rid of those tariffs, got ridof those protections on the American solar industry.

that's where the technology is going tobe bought, and China is going to
be the new OPAQ when it comesto green energy. Beyond the global economy,

facing a threat that's beyond just somekind of strategic competition, that it's an

these threats. Whether it's the borderfentanel, whether it's buying up land in
the United States to use against us. Of those are the kinds of things
that we need to do. First. China is not our friend. It's

us from our allies, it's nowattacking our families and children. Derrett Maltz

The cartels are the enemy of ourchildren. They are basically taking advantage of
the weak security at the border andthe vulnerabilities. They are operating like a

of in the history of this country. We're losing nine thousand Americans a month.
Every five minutes, we're losing somebody. Families are waking up devastated every
single day. Some kids as youngas thirteen years old, they go up

Trump that his country would clamp downon the exporting of fentnol. That's not

crisis isn't just China or the cartel'sfault. They are the suppliers, but
we're the buyers. When it cameto opioid addiction in the United States,
it began with our own pharmaceutical copiesin the late nineteen nineties. Those companies

reassured doctors and nurses that patients wouldn'tbecome addicted to pain relievers, and then
they were prescribed at overwhelming rates.By the time two seventeen rolled around and
the federal government declared a public healthemergency, it was too late. America's
addiction was soaring, and our enemiessaw this weakness and organized to exploit it.

According to the Brookings Institution, morethan a hundred and seven thousand Americans
died from overdoses in two twenty one, with more than seventy percent of those
deaths caused by opioids. The truthis a lot of these deaths are from

cartels to be an eager partner inmoving opiates, meth and precursor chemicals,
which are the compounds necessary to makefentyl a weapon of mass destruction. They're

their debt. Texas Congressman Chip Roy, and that's happening. One pill,
you're dead. And we've had afamous University of Texas football star, we
had an NFL star recently. We'vehad numerous people in the district I represent
where you end up having multiple debts. You'll have somebody who took fentyl knowingly

or unknowingly, but usually unknowingly becauseit's laced on something they thought would saved.
They go into cardiac arres. Someonethere tries to help them, and
then they go into cardiac arres fromthe transitive property of this very very dangerous
narcotic. The American people don't understandwhat's happening. This makes the cocaine epidemic
of the eighties look trivial. Howis this happening and why is our government

powerless to stop it? The fentylbeing mixed together in the Mexican labs is
fifty to one hundred times more potentthan morphine. Derek Maltz. They have
the chemists down there, they haveall the operatives they need, They make
to stop, and then they blitchthe border. They get their routes into
California, into Arizona, and youknow, into Texas. Cartel's love making

synthetic narcotics because they're easier and cheaperto produce. According to The New York
Times, cartels no longer need hugefields or enormous amounts of labor to grow
their drug ingredients. They can createa tremendous amount of fentenol and small,

that can be smuggled into the USin smaller amounts. Our government's response to
this crisis is far too weak,and this passive reaction has people like Derek
Maltz appalled. Just so hypothetical,if Al Qaeda had one pound of chemical

weapons in Mexico, the entire USgovernment would be all over that and going
after that and trying to keep itout of our country. Right, But
you're talking about already seized forty ninehundred pounds in the first five months of
fentonmol pentomol is killing. The DALab just did a recent study and they
analyzed these counterfeit pills right and theydetermined that twenty six percent of them had

a ref dose. So if youlook at DA Phoenix alone, last year,
they reported six million counterfeit opie pillswere seized that could have killed with
no exaggeration, like one point fivemillion Americans just based on the DA Lab
statistics on lethal posts right now.Don't get me wrong. Not every pill
is going to kill. For onepill can kill, and that's the point.

Like Malt says, we need tofollow the money money. China ships
precursor chemicals to the Mexican cartels.The cartels make cheap and deadly pills with

those ingredients and ship them to theUnited States. Once those drugs are here,
they are exchanged for money at ahuge profit. Moving that money around
is becoming a lot easier. Inthe age of global banking. Drug money
from the US can be moved toChinese banks with just a few clicks on

a smartphone app. Once this moneyis in those Chinese banks, US lawn
for sent can't touch it. SimoneLadine is a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of
Defense who is familiar with counter terrorismand delicit funding. It is very clear
that Chinese criminal groups, suppliers,and consumers play a significant role in Mexican

drug trafficking, both in the supplyof precursors and in the laundering of funds
that are derived from drug trafficking.There are not too many steps between these
criminal groups and the CCP. Ithink there's a very good argument that you
could make that maybe the government itselfhas inserted a couple of layers between themselves

and these criminal groups to make itlook like they're not supported by the government.
But anyone who has any understanding atall of the modern Chinese police state
knows that they are tracking everything,they are aware of everything, and the
Chinese Communist Party is well aware ofwhat's going on. James Carafano, who

there is direct evidence that the CCPis involved in the financing, manufacturing,
and exportation of illicit narcotics. Whenwe're looking at the numbers that we're

system, and at the end ofthe day, you want to be a
return of that usable cast that youcan use in the West, not just
in China. So of course,anybody who thinks that Chinese entities are not
involved in money laundering and that thisisn't being done without the consent of the
Chinese government, this is just nonsense. Why is this money so hard to

track down? Why are we allowingthis to happen? Simone Ladine says,
to clamp down on money laundering worldwide, we need to commit to stopping it
here first. Globally, money launderingis such a big problem because people benefit
from all that money. The peoplewho should be enforcing actions against this criminal

activity are actually profiting off of itinstead, and we see that, we
see that around the world. Whatis the number one money laundering country in
the world. It's the United Statesof America. And despite that, our
nation is in a constant internal struggleto target its adversaries. Unfortunately, because

could end up exposing our enemies.Because China and the cartels aren't just after

general from the Chinese military bought onehundred and thirty thousand acres of land near
Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas. They said it was for
a windmill project, but that basejust happens to be where many of our

Congressman Brian Babin, it's my understandingthat there is a retired Chinese general that
is one of the big personages inthis purchase. And when you look one
hundred and thirty thousand acres in Texasalone, you check and see and there's

over. There's over. In fact, nearly five million acres that is owned
of agricultural land that is owned inTexas by foreigners. But this is our
adversary, our chief, major adversaryof the world today is China. Another
group with ties to the Chinese CommunistParty purchased three hundred acres of farmland in

Grand Forks, North Dakota, abouta twenty minute drive to the Air Force
base. There That's especially alarming becauseit is where a lot of top secret
information regarding our military's drone programs iskept. But lands near our military installations

are not the only places Chinese investorswant to buy. Between April twenty twenty
one and May two, twenty two, Chinese investors scooped up more than six
point one billion dollars worth of UShomes, and as interest rates surge,

pricing many Americans out of the market, Chinese investors aren't sweating it. Why
because they're paying all in cash andavoiding those raids. If that isn't enough,
Texas Congressmanship Roy says China is targetingour food supply. They're buying up

agriculture in farmland, They're buying upmeat processing plans, and we're asleep in
the switch. I've introduced legislation toban anybody affiliated with a Chinese communist party
from buying land. I'm going tocontinue to fight that message. I think
it ought to be a central pillarto our national security message as Republicans.
To prevent that, we could banthat tomorrow. In fact, the Texas

legislature should ban non Texans from owningTexas dirt. I think the Texas legislat
drawing to say no, I don'teven I don't care, even if you're
from another part of the United States. We want texanstone, Texas land.

underneath that land are natural resources,so abundant oil and the farmland itself is

feed their own population, so theyare looking to have agricultural land, different

true. In the case of theBidens, you have the fact that Hunter
Biden and the Biden family is receivedby the account of the laptop and other

America, and the United States wouldgive some tax breaks to those companies for
moving their factories from China to Guatemala, for instance, we would be generating

they would be very pleased here.So the United States policy must change as
well in terms of supporting its allies, and that there are a few of
them left. China is even tryingto beat America to the punch when it
comes to energy, and many ofthe investments we're making as a nation to

workers in the back. China isquickly cornering the market on wind turbines and
solar panels. Peter Schweitzer of theGovernment Accountability Institute says this leaves American manufacturers
unable to compete in the global economy. We did have under Donald Trump tariffs

that would help American solar panel companiescompete against the Chinese, who were,
of course being subsidized by their government. But guess what, Joe Biden got
rid of those tariffs, got ridof those protections on the American solar industry.
So what's literally going to happen iseighty percent of the economic benefit of
the renewable energy component of this billis going to end up benefiting China because

that's where the technology is going tobe bought, and China is going to
be the new OPAQ when it comesto green energy. Beyond the global economy,
Bill Gert says, China's propaganda machine, it's energy strategy, it's Latin

facing a threat that's beyond just somekind of strategic competition, that it's an
adversarial and enemy relationship. And Ithink if we can do that, then

these threats. Whether it's the borderfentanel, whether it's buying up land in
the United States to use against us. Of those are the kinds of things
that we need to do. First. China is not our friend. It's

crisis isn't just China or the cartel'sfault. They are the suppliers, but

reassured doctors and nurses that patients wouldn'tbecome addicted to pain relievers, and then
they were prescribed at overwhelming rates.By the time two seventeen rolled around and
the federal government declared a public healthemergency, it was too late. America's

you're dead. And we've had afamous University of Texas football star, we
had an NFL star recently. We'vehad numerous people in the district I represent
where you end up having multiple debts. You'll have somebody who took fentyl knowingly

or unknowingly, but usually unknowingly becauseit's laced on something they thought would saved.
They go into cardiac arres. Someonethere tries to help them, and
then they go into cardiac arres fromthe transitive property of this very very dangerous
narcotic. The American people don't understandwhat's happening. This makes the cocaine epidemic
of the eighties look trivial. Howis this happening and why is our government

powerless to stop it? The fentylbeing mixed together in the Mexican labs is

this crisis is far too weak,and this passive reaction has people like Derek

after that and trying to keep itout of our country. Right, But
you're talking about already seized forty ninehundred pounds in the first five months of
fentonmol pentomol is killing. The DALab just did a recent study and they
analyzed these counterfeit pills right and theydetermined that twenty six percent of them had

they reported six million counterfeit opie pillswere seized that could have killed with

Chinese Communist Party is well aware ofwhat's going on. James Carafano, who

is the leading national security and foreignpolicy expert with the Heritage Foundation, says,
there is direct evidence that the CCPis involved in the financing, manufacturing,
and exportation of illicit narcotics. Whenwe're looking at the numbers that we're
looking at, it is impossible tomove that kind of cash through a legal
(31:32):
system, and at the end ofthe day, you want to be a
return of that usable cast that youcan use in the West, not just
in China. So of course,anybody who thinks that Chinese entities are not
involved in money laundering and that thisisn't being done without the consent of the
Chinese government, this is just nonsense. Why is this money so hard to
(31:52):
track down? Why are we allowingthis to happen? Simone Ladine says,
to clamp down on money laundering worldwide, we need to commit to stopping it
here first. Globally, money launderingis such a big problem because people benefit
from all that money. The peoplewho should be enforcing actions against this criminal
(32:15):
activity are actually profiting off of itinstead, and we see that, we
see that around the world. Whatis the number one money laundering country in
the world. It's the United Statesof America. And despite that, our
nation is in a constant internal struggleto target its adversaries. Unfortunately, because
(32:40):
we aren't cleaning our own house,we may not be following the breadcrumbs that
could end up exposing our enemies.Because China and the cartels aren't just after
our money they want our land tofor China. Increasingly there are no boarders.

In two twenty one, a realestate purchasing group that included a retired
general from the Chinese military bought onehundred and thirty thousand acres of land near
Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas. They said it was for
a windmill project, but that basejust happens to be where many of our
(33:36):
pilots are trained. This company isconnected to the Chinese Communist Party. Texas
Congressman Brian Babin, it's my understandingthat there is a retired Chinese general that
is one of the big personages inthis purchase. And when you look one
hundred and thirty thousand acres in Texasalone, you check and see and there's
(33:58):
over. There's over. In fact, nearly five million acres that is owned
of agricultural land that is owned inTexas by foreigners. But this is our
adversary, our chief, major adversaryof the world today is China. Another
group with ties to the Chinese CommunistParty purchased three hundred acres of farmland in
(34:24):
Grand Forks, North Dakota, abouta twenty minute drive to the Air Force
base. There That's especially alarming becauseit is where a lot of top secret
information regarding our military's drone programs iskept. But lands near our military installations
(34:45):
are not the only places Chinese investorswant to buy. Between April twenty twenty
one and May two, twenty two, Chinese investors scooped up more than six
point one billion dollars worth of UShomes, and as interest rates surge,
(35:07):
pricing many Americans out of the market, Chinese investors aren't sweating it. Why
because they're paying all in cash andavoiding those raids. If that isn't enough,
Texas Congressmanship Roy says China is targetingour food supply. They're buying up
(35:30):
agriculture in farmland, They're buying upmeat processing plans, and we're asleep in
the switch. I've introduced legislation toban anybody affiliated with a Chinese communist party
from buying land. I'm going tocontinue to fight that message. I think
it ought to be a central pillarto our national security message as Republicans.
To prevent that, we could banthat tomorrow. In fact, the Texas
(35:52):
legislature should ban non Texans from owningTexas dirt. I think the Texas legislat
drawing to say no, I don'teven I don't care, even if you're
from another part of the United States. We want texanstone, Texas land.
Businesses connected to the Chinese Communist Partyare investing in education, technology, space,
(36:12):
agriculture, and real estate throughout theglobe. They are purchasing land in
the United States with a strategy inmind. In Oklahoma, the beautiful terrain,
the farmlands. I visited with GovernorStitt. I went on horseback,
(36:35):
and I'm familiar with the area.We have friends there. But guess what
underneath that land are natural resources,so abundant oil and the farmland itself is
a national security treasure. In Oklahoma, Chinese entities we're buying up farmland and
other resources and even influencing local polis. Governor Kevin Stitt gives us a simpler
(37:02):
explanation for what's happening in his state. China doesn't have the resources to even
feed their own population, so theyare looking to have agricultural land, different
things, farming land and all over, which we need to be very very
cautious of. This isn't just aboutfood being made in America and shipped overseas.
(37:24):
And large quantities. Some worry thatdiseases introduced both inadvertently and on purpose,
will decimate the American farming industry.Think about how COVID shut down the
world, and where that originated fromand where that virus was really created.
And you think about foreign animal diseaseoutbreaks African swine fever. When we have
(37:49):
these outbreaks. We have a hugepork industry. We supply pork in Oklahoma
around the country. We're the numbertwo beef producer in the country here in
Oklahoma, and if you can enterdouce some of those things, you could
really hurt the domestic food supply.Is China really making these land purchases for
the reasons it says? Governors stitand Oklahoma lawmakers are busy working to block
(38:15):
foreign interest from buying land. Theysay they must stop the CCP from taking
advantage of loopholes and drug laws thatlead to an increase in harmful illegal activities.
We've passed about ten different laws thisyear. We've made it illegal to
purchase land if you're a Chinese foreignnational. Foreign national is not allowed to
(38:36):
own agricultural or farmland, but we'reseeing them move in through straw buyers.
So that's what we're trying to attacknow, and really we think it's kind
of for profit. It's the medicalmarijuana industry that we passed several years back,
and so they're coming in and puttinggrow houses together illegally selling marijuana,
(38:58):
not through the States dispensary network formedicine, but they're actually doing it illegally
for recreational all over. So weput a stop to that. I stopped
all new licenses to be approved.We put a moratorium on those for two
years. We've done some huge drugbus so we're trying to get control of
it. Oklahoma is a rare exceptionwhen it comes to confronting Chinese land grabs
(39:20):
in the US. Washington Times nationalsecurity correspondent and China expert Bill Gertz says
the Chinese are benefiting as the Americangovernment and business community mostly waffle over how
to respond, weighing short term financialgains versus long term security. China is
(39:42):
a revolutionary communist state which views theUnited States as its mortal enemy, and
so everything that they do, whetherit's economic or commercial, has a military
or a strategic component to it,and so that's why they're buying up land
again. The Committee on Foreign Investmentin the United States was supposed to have
been strengthened to try and take alook at these issues and whether they're whether
(40:06):
they should be buying land or otherplaces or businesses in the United States.
Again, there's still a debate goingon. There's a strong section of the
government and the business community that wantsto ignore China's genocide in Western China or
the repression in Hong Kong and justdo business with China. But the other
(40:28):
hand, there are people who saythis is an existential threat. We've got
to take action now. We areselling out our nation from under our noses
to our detriment. Houses are moreexpensive than ever, our farmland is increasingly
controlled by foreign interests, and we'reputting our national security at risks. China's
(40:55):
increasing its influence around the world,but it is especially positioning itself to be
on America's doorstep. But what ifI told you that China and it's cartel
buddies aren't just knocking on the door, They're already here in ways you haven't
(41:15):
even thought of. This problem ismanifesting in the form of illegal rose,
natural resources being stolen, citizens beingthreatened, but we've also found, you
know, ten dead bodies of theseillegal immigrants who are indentured servants working there.
