(00:04):
Amen. Well, I don't knowabout you, but this was a beautiful
morning of worship. As we sangthat last song, we went into a
couple of those choruses, lifting upand praising and glorifying the name of Jesus.
My feet almost wanted to take off, but I had my lesha and

(00:29):
I couldn't go anywhere. God isso good, Amen, Junior Church,
Thank you Scott. We do haveto remind each other because by the time
we stand right here, our mindis already going where it needs to go
and breaking forth the bread of life. So, Junior Church, you are

(00:52):
ready to go out and enter intothat beautiful new children's center where you can
put the jam on. I guessis what the do? Huh? Amen?
All right, Well, we're inthis series of let me tell you
about my Jesus. And the beautifulthing about the scripture is there are pictures
that are tapestries. They are woventhroughout the scriptures and they form threads that

(01:23):
connect with one another. One ofthe well known ones is this scarlet thread
that talks about the blood of being, the sacrifice that redeems and pays the
price for our sins. Jesus whenhe was round the road to Emmaus,
and the Jus disciples were grieving overtheir loss, said they opened up their

(01:49):
minds to the scriptures and began totell them how all of the scriptures related
to him, because, as hesaid, you search the scriptures and in
them you think you have eternal life. They speak of me, they speak
of me. And so as welook into the Word today, we're going

(02:14):
to be talking about one of thosethreads of who our Jesus is, who
my Jesus is, who your Jesusis. Go ahead and bring that first
slide up. We're going to talkabout the right of redemption. It's another
one of those threads that runs throughoutthe scripture. Jesus we know is the

(02:38):
Redeemer. We sing the songs ofMy Redeemer, lives and all of those
types of things. But it cameto us in pictures that God had designed
in the scriptures to help us tosee and to know and to understand.
And in this right of redemption wehave a place in Jeremiah. Jeremiah,

(03:00):
as you know, is writing justbefore the fall of Israel and Jerusalem to
Babylon and the captivity in that regards. As he is writing, God had
told him, you're going to havea near relative come to you to purchase

(03:22):
a piece of property. Now,if you're in a country that's under attack
and under siege, and all ofthe cities, all of the other cities
except for two or three of thegreat walled cities, have already been overthrown,
you're not thinking about buying land rightabout that time. You don't think

(03:43):
there's going to be much land left. And in fact, Jeremiah knew they
were going into captivity. And sowe pick up this passage of scripture here
where the screen isn't working. Who'sin the booth, anybody in the booth,

(04:09):
wave your hand, there we go. Technology is a wonderful thing,
Jeremiah said. The word of theLord came to me. Behold, Hannamel,
the son of Schalem, your unclewill come to you and say,
buy my feel that is at Anathos. For the right of redemption by purchase

(04:29):
is yours. And so there isa right of redemption that is by purchase.
And it relates to the heritage ofIsrael. The land was given to
Israel. God had given it tothem, and they had to protect that
and to preserve that. And ifsomebody were to lose their inheritance, they

(04:51):
had to do whatever they could tokeep that inheritance in that tribe so that
tribe would not lose out. Andso it comes from the patriarchal society.
Now, if you look into aGoogle and you bring up patriarchal society,
you're not gonna want to read whatthey have there. Patriarchal society means they're

(05:14):
a bunch of misogynists and racist andabusive to children. And it's just this
rule of the guy's rule, that'swhat they call it. But the patriarchal
society wasn't that way. In thescriptures. The patriarchal society was the head
of the household, the head ofthe family, and the head of the

(05:34):
family was over them for their protection. If anything were to happen, he
was there to protect them. Ifthey were captured, he was there to
rescue them. He would do whateverhe could. He oversaw all of that.
He was there for their provision. All of their needs were met by
the patriarch. He provided the food, he provided the clothing, he provided

(05:56):
the shelter. The preservation of theirhistory was passed through the patriarch. He
would tell them about their ancestry, and that's how we know that in the
scriptures, the Israelites maintained a verystrict genealogy, to the point that when
they came back from the captivity,if they were considered levites who were going
to assume the priesthood, they hadto prove their genealogy or they would be

(06:20):
rejected. And there were some thatcouldn't they had lost their records. And
so we see that they maintained thisto preserve this society that they were a
part of. And the patriarchs werevery, very caring men who watched over
everything and provided for every need. And so when you look at that in

(06:44):
the patriarchal society, we come tothese places of these inheritances, and they're
talking about now after in Joshua, after the people had gone in, they
had conquered the lands, and thelands had been distributed to the various tribes.
These of the inheritances that the peopleof Israel received in the land of
Canaan, which Eliezer the priests andJoshua with the son of None and the

(07:08):
heads of the father's houses of thetribes of the people of Israel, gave
them to inherit and so here wesee the distribution of the lands. Now,
each one of these tribes is goingto be responsible to preserve their heritage
throughout all time, to tell thestories of the faith, of all the
things that have happened in their historyfrom the time actually of Adam on,

(07:32):
but especially from the time of Moseson, and all that God did.
They were there to keep the culturetogether and protect in case of any kinds
of threat. And so the headsof the fathers houses was where all of
this came to be the part ofthe responsibility. And so we need to

(07:54):
keep that in mind because now we'regoing to talk about not just the right
of redemption, in which you asa relative have the right to redeem that
property, or the right to redeema family member if they have sold themselves
into slavery or have drifted away. You're to do everything in your power to
bring them back into the Father's houseeverything. And so the Father's house now

(08:20):
is the next of the thread thatgoes in this series of scriptures and stories
and pictures that God has woven throughthe scriptures, and we don't see it
until one day. The secret thingsbelong to God. The scripture says,

(08:41):
and the revealed things belong to man. And so until God reveals these pictures
to us, we don't see them, we don't understand them. And so
now at the Father's house we havethis scripture. Abraham, we know,
was called to leave of the Kaldianempire, and he left Er and went

(09:01):
up to Heron and was there inHeron for a while. And then it
says that God spoke to him again, and Abram and Sarahi and their nephew
Lot left and went down to aplace they didn't know they were going,
but God was leading them to thispromised land. Well, we read it

(09:22):
in that regards, but let's jumpinto this passage of scripture just for a
second. When Abram heard that hiskinsman had been taken captive, he led
forth his trained men born in hishouse, three hundred and eighteen of them.
You know, we see the Biblestories and we see the movies,
and we hear the stories being told, and we see Abram, Sarahi,

(09:46):
Lot Eliezer, abraham servant, HagarSarai's servant, and we see this little
group of people moving throughout the promisedland down in to Egypt, when there
was famine back out of Egypt. But it says when they left heron they
took with them all of their possessionsand all of the people that they had

(10:11):
acquired. And this was a caravan. This was a large group of people.
And now they have grown so largethat Lot with his servants and his
tribes and his tents, and Abrahamwith his servants and his possessions and all

(10:31):
of their flocks, they had multipliedso much that the land could not contain
them. And that's when they separated, and Lot went down towards Sodom,
and Abraham stayed in the mountainous areas. And it says that now the kings
came in and attacked Sodom, andthey took all of Sodom captive, and

(10:54):
took Lot captive, in all ofhis possessions and all of his tents,
and all of his servants and allof his people. And Abraham now goes
out after him, and he's gotthree hundred and eighteen trained men who had
been born in his house. Theywere from servants they had acquired. And
so the servants that they acquired hadwives and had children, and those children

(11:18):
grew up and were trained, andthey married and they had children. They
could have had several thousand people inAbram's household at this time. Isn't that
amazing? No, wonder everybody wasworried when Abraham showed up. Several thousand

(11:39):
and they're at the father's house, and he has care for them. He's
the patriarch. And so when theygot into their dispute, Abram said,
Abram's nephew, what's his name?Lot? Okay? Aram said Lot,

(12:01):
you are my kinsmen, you're mynear kinsmen. You choose where you want
to go. And now somebody hadsurvived and escaped and came back, and
they said, Lot has been captured. He is the patriarch. He didn't
even think about all these other kingsand these nations that had come in and

(12:24):
overthrown the cities of Sodom and thesurrounding area. He got his trained men
and went because he's the patriarch,he's responsible for the protection of his kinsmen
and to redeem them from captivity ifthey've been taken into captivity. And so
off he goes, and as hegoes, he divides up his forces.

(12:46):
And at night he and his servantswent in and attacked and defeated them and
pursued them to Hoba, north ofDamascus, and then he brought back all
the possessions and also brought back hiskinsman lot with his possession and the women
and the people, and he rescuedall of them and redeemed them. He

(13:07):
had the right of redemption. Hewas the patriarch. He was the provider,
the protector of the preserver. Hewasn't a misogynist man that just wanted
to bash people and be in control. Even though patriarch means rule of the
father. Patrar father is rule.So he is the patriarch. And now

(13:35):
we come to the right of thefirst barn, because you know, the
patriarchs aren't eternal. They're going todie, and so they need to be
replaced. And so the right ofthe first barn is passed on from the
father as the new patriarch, whonow takes on the responsibility for the whole

(13:58):
household. And so Abram at onepoint he said, Father, I have
no heir. Is my servant Eliezergoing to be my heir? And he
said no, You're going to havean air from your own seed. And

(14:18):
so Isaac is going to be thepatriarch. When Abram dies, how would
you like to be born into apatriarchal family, be the firstborn. There's
two three thousand people that you're goingto be responsible for and you didn't even
ask for that job. And yetthat was part of the patriarchal society.

(14:43):
And so here is the right ofthe firstborn. This is after they've are
getting the commandments given to them throughMoses bringing them from the mountain, and
then getting the further descriptions that theywould meet with God in the tabernacle,
and the glory of God would comedown, and Moses would go in and
he would speak to God face toface. He would come out and the

(15:05):
veil would be covering his face becausehis face shone with the glory of God
after being into his presence. Andhe was talking to them about assignments of
the inheritance and passing on the inheritanceand who would have the rights of that.
And in the process, one ofthe issues that comes up is there

(15:26):
were some people who had more thanone wife, and those people that had
more than one wife, some ofthem loved a second or a third wife
more than they loved the first, and so they were prone to want to
give the right of the first bornto whoever they chose the first born from

(15:48):
the wife that I love, notthe first born from the wife that was
my first wife. Why anybody wouldwant more than one is beyond me.
But anyway, then, on theday when he assigns his possessions as an
inheritance to his sons, he maynot treat the son of the firstborn in

(16:10):
preference to the son of the unloved, who is the firstborn. But he
shall acknowledge the firstborn, the sonof the unloved, by giving him a
double portion of all that he has, for he is the first fruits of
his strength. The right of thefirstborn is his. And so if somebody

(16:30):
had more than one wife, andthey loved their second wife and wanted to
give the rights of the firstborn tobecome the patriarch of their household to the
firstborn of his second wife, hecouldn't do it. The firstborn child is
the one who has the rights ofthe firstborn, and they receive Scott brought

(16:52):
it up last week with the prodigalson story. They receive the double portion
or the major portion of the inheritancebecause they are responsible for all of the
care of the entire household, andso the major portion of the inheritance becomes
theirs. Jacob, we know, was in that kind of a boat,

(17:12):
and Esau was the firstborn. Jacobwas a caniver who was a manipulator.
He wanted to have the rights ofthe first born. He wanted to have
the blessing of his father to carryon and be in control and have it
all. But he did that notbecause he wanted to be patriarch. He

(17:33):
wanted to have it all. Andso Jacob said that Esau. When Esau
came in after hunting, was famished, and Jacob had been making some little
stoup, and Esau said, giveme some of your soup. I'm about
to die, and he says, some of your birthright. He said,
I was about to die. What'sa birthright mean to me? So swear

(17:55):
it to me. I better readit. Huh. I was about to
die? Was the birthright to me? And Jacob said, swear it to
me now. So he swore tohim and sold him his birthright. And
so Jacob usurped the birthright, eventhough God had already told Abram that the
younger the older would serve the younger. But Jacob manipulated his way into it

(18:19):
and became the one who was thepatriarch of that household, and then went
on to receive the blessing from fromIsaac, and Isaac gave him the blessing
in which he would rule over allof the tribe and all over the household.
And so now he comes to thekinsman Redeemer. Another thread, and
we're gonna get to all of thistooere we're going to pull it back together,

(18:40):
but it's giving you some background.I am the teaching pastor now,
so we're teaching he's the kinsman, the kinsman redeemer. The kinsman redeemer is
anyone who in the household who isa close relative can have the right of
redemption. If something should happen tosomebody's inheritance of their property, they would

(19:04):
have the right of redemption to buythat back. If somebody else that had
the right of redemption wouldn't. Andwe come into this when you get into
this passage of scripture. But firstlet's read the definition the right of a
relative to buy back or be ableto buy back a person from indenture or
an object from possession or control,so it could be restored to the household

(19:30):
brought back under the umbrella of thefather's house. And so Ruth and her
husband there was a famine, andthey had two sons, and they were
in the area of Bethlehem and leftBethlehem and went down to Moab. When
they were down in Moab, Ruth'shusband had died, her two sons had

(19:56):
married Moabite women, and they werethere for about ten years. So the
land that they owned back in Israelaround Bethlehem was already taken over. Somebody
else had it. And so asthey're they're there and now all of a
sudden, Naomi's husband has died, then her two sons died. When you

(20:22):
are a woman and you have noone to care for you, there's very
little that you can do. Andmany of the younger women would turn to
prostitution in order to survive, inorder to get along and get through.
And so Naomi said, there weretwo daughters or two daughters in law,

(20:44):
I'm going back to the land ofmy father's You need to go back to
your families, to your households andlive with them. And they didn't want
to do that. They were goingto go with her, and Naomi implored
them not to come, but togo back. Part of the reason would
be the Mobites were kind of acursed people because they rejected Israel when they
tried to come through the land ofthe Promised lad and God put that curse

(21:07):
on it. And the Mobites alsowere very very heavy into idolatry and pagan
worship, and they were one ofthe tribes that caused the worship of offering
your children in the fire, andso they weren't real well liked. So
the one daughter in law decided togo back, but Ruth said, I'm

(21:30):
going to travel with you. I'mgoing to go where you go. Your
people will be my people, yourGod will be my God. I am
not leaving you. And so theywent back, but they went back to
nothing. And so as they're tryingto survive, they only tell Ruth,

(21:52):
my near kinsman Boaz is a veryhonorable man. The time of gleaning,
go to his fields, and ashis servants are gleaning, glean the fields.
Because whatever would drop, they weren'tto pick up. It was left

(22:12):
for the poor. And so Naomiand Ruth were living in poverty and and
and Ruth is now out there gleaningthe fields and the corners of the fields
they were to leave empty or leaveuntouched, so that the poor could glean
from the corners of the fields. And Boas she found favor in Boaz's eyes,
and so Boaz kind of helped herout and told her to go ahead

(22:34):
and eat with my servants and drinktheir water, and and and he would
tell the servants put a little extrain her bag, and and and these
things. And so she was tellinguh Naomi what was going on, and
and and Naomi said, Boaz isour kinsman redeemer. Tonight, when the

(23:00):
gleaning is done, and he iswell fed and has had enough wine,
go in and lay at his feetand cover the corner of his garment over
you. And she did that. Now you may think something bad about that,
But God said, when I foundIsrael in the wilderness, and she

(23:23):
was very small, and she wasbloody, and he raised her up,
he said, he covered her withthe corner of his garment. It was
her protection, it was her covering. And the kinsman Redeemer was to be
Naomi and Ruth's covering. And sohe woke up and he looked and he
saw her, and she said, you're by redeemer. And he said I

(23:48):
better read again. Now It's truethat I am a redeemer. Yet there's
a redeemer who is nearer than Iremain tonight and in the morning. If
he will redeem you, good lethim. But if he is not willing
to redeem you, then as theLord lives, I will redeem you.

(24:10):
Lie down until the morning. Andso Ruth went back and told Naomi what
happened. After the morning hours cameand Ruth Naomi told us. She said,
Boaz is an honorable man. Hewill not rest until this is complete
today. And so bo Az wentdown to the city gate where those days,

(24:34):
that was one of the things thatthey did. They kind of just
hung out at the city gate andtalked about the news and what was on
CNN last night and Fox and seewho was going to get mad at the
Fox people and the other one getmad at the CNN people. You know
how that goes. And so they'redown there and they're talking and the near
Kinsman comes up and Boaz says tohim, Naomi and Ruth have some property.

(25:02):
It needs to be redeemed. Youare the nearest Kinsman redeemer. Will
you redeem the property? He says, Oh, yeah, property more land
for me. I'll redeem that.It says, oh, and by the
way, Naomi's husband passed away andher sons would be his heirs, and

(25:25):
both of them have died, andso Ruth, the Moabite woman would also
need to be redeemed, because youneed to raise up seed to her husband
so that his name and his inheritanceisn't forgotten. And so he said,
oh, wait a minute, Idon't want to do that. I don't

(25:45):
want to ruin my inheritance by spendingmoney and taking care of her. I
don't want to do that. Andso bo Az took off his sandal,
which was a sign in those daysevent bring into agreement, and he,
by right of redemption of purchase, purchased the land and purchased Naomi and redeemed

(26:10):
them. And then it says thatBoaz married Ruth, and Ruth bore a
child who was one of the ancestorsof King David. And the women of
the village came to Naomi, whohad no husband, had no sons,
therefore would be on her own,and said, the Lord has blessed you,

(26:36):
for he has given you a redeemerin your grandson, who when you
are old, your kinsman redeemer, your redeemer that the Lord has given you
through a child to Ruth will protectyou and guard you, because that's the
patriarchal society. And so we havethe right of redemption by purchase. We

(27:02):
have the father's house, we havethe inheritance and the passing on of the
patriarchy. We have the kinsman redeemer. And so now we're going to start
to draw all this together and bringit into the picture that God wants us

(27:23):
to see. And I can seeyou're all hanging on every word. You
need to be a near relative tobe a kinsman redeemer. The Book of
the Genealogy of Jesus. You know, we have a lot of arguments about

(27:48):
the genealogies and Matthew and Luke, and they're saying, well, in Matthew
says, fourteen generations and fourteen generationsand fourteen generations. I keep trying to
figure it out, and it doesn'tcompute. It just doesn't come out right.
They're more worried about that than theyare about this. The Book of

(28:10):
the Genealogy of Jesus Christ the sonof David, the son of Abraham.
Here we are in Israel, thisgreat nation that has now been restored,
even though they are under Roman occupation. They are now maintaining the history and
maintaining the temple rights, and allthe things that they're supposed to be doing

(28:33):
are being done, even though weknow that they weren't doing them all correctly.
But here now they have this genealogyof Jesus, who can chase his
line all the way back to Abraham. And that's where Israel counts their beginning,
because the Hebrews are the descendants ofAbram who live near Hebron. So

(29:00):
here now is Jesus who is nowin the line of Abraham and is a
kinsman redeemer of all those who aredescended from Abraham, whether through Isaac,
whether through Jacob, whether through Esau, whether through the sons of Katurah.

(29:22):
He is now the near relative whowould be the patriarch over all of that.
And the promises Paul wrote in Galatianswere made to Abraham that in his
seed all the nations of the worldwould be blessed through his offspring. And

(29:48):
it does not say offsprings, sothat there could be many seeds that could
have been the one who would bethe redeemer. But it says to your
offspring, referring to one, andthat offspring who is Jesus Christ. Jesus

(30:08):
Christ is the near kinsman of allof the Hebrews to be the one who
is the seed of promise, whowould be the redeemer for all of Israel.
And so he's right into the Galatians. The Galatians are a Gentile church.
So what does that have to dowith the Gentiles. That's a promise

(30:30):
for the Jews, that's for theHebrews. So all we're doing now is
just giving up our lands and ourlife and our gods to just become part
of a Hebrew sect. Because ofthis, Jesus Luke wrote to the Gentile
worldview. Luke is writing into theGreek mindset. Luke is writing to the

(30:55):
Gentiles, and so he has agenealogy as well. Jesus when he began
his ministry, was about thirty yearsof age, being the son as was
supposed of Joseph, the son ofEli. And now I've skipped all through
all of those and come down tothese last few. Who is the son
of Canaan, the son of ourfact Sate, the son of Shem the

(31:18):
son of Noah, the son ofLammak, the son of Methuselah, the
son of Enoch, the son ofJared, the son of Mahalalel, the
son of Canaan, the son ofEnus, the son of Seth, the
son of Adam, the son ofGod. And so Jesus now has his
line being traced all the way backto Adam, who is the son of

(31:42):
God. And so every person inthe first genealogy, Jesus is the seed
of promise to every descendant of theAbrahamic line. Luke said, Jesus is
the seed of us every person inthe world, because every person in the

(32:06):
world is related to Adam to Noah. God said in Genesis that shem Ham
and Jayfith they began to spread out, and all of the nations came to
be through them. That every nation, and every tribe and every kindid kindred

(32:29):
is descended through shem Ham and Jayfith. Oh I don't believe that, Well,
it's the tower of Babble. Itsays that they began to spread throughout
the nation, throughout the world, and they said, well, wait a
minute, unless we get dispersed overthe whole earth, let us make a
name for ourselves, and let usbuild a tower to heaven. And so

(32:52):
they built a cigarette, not acigarette, a cigarette. And these are
towers that smoke. No, theseare towers that have steps. And these
steps were what they were going touse. I'm glad you woke up.
At least you knew one word Isaid, and it had to be the
one I said wrong. And sothese steps were so we could make our

(33:16):
own way to heaven. They weregoing to build a ladder to heaven.
Isn't it amazing? When God ledJacob into the wilderness they're at Bethel,
Jacob saw the true door of Heavenand the ladder descending with angels and descending

(33:38):
and descending from Heaven. God's gothis own ladder. He doesn't need us
to make him one. In fact, Jesus told one of the disciples,
he says, you believe, becauseI saw you under the fig tree,
You're going to see Heaven opening, the angels of God ascending and descending on
the son of Man. So thosepictures just keep popping up everywhere, and

(34:00):
so here he is now he isthe true heir, and there's a promise
for him too. I'll put enmitybetween you and the woman. He said
to Satan, to the serpent, between your seed or your offspring and her
seed and her offspring, he shallbruise your head, and you shall bruise
his heel. And so Jesus isthe promise in Genesis. He's the promise

(34:24):
to Abraham. He is the kinsmanredeemer who has come to redeem us from
sin. And then Jesus was tellingus. The owner of the vineyards said
what shall I do? Because hehad left the vineyard in the charge of
his servants, and they were robbingin blind and he would send prophets,

(34:49):
and he would send people to them, and they'd kill him, and they'd
beat him, and they'd kick himout. And he said, I know
what I'll do. I'll send mybeloved son, my only begotten son,
my first born, the first bornof God. He has the right of
the first born, and I'll respecthim. But when the tenants saw him,

(35:13):
they said to themselves, this isthe heir. Here is the one
who is inheriting everything, so thathe can bring all of those who are
distanced back to the father's house. Is it starting to get better? Are

(35:39):
you starting to I bet you're startingto put some pictures together on your own,
aren't you. Let's kill him sothe inheritance may be ours because we
want it all. We're like theyounger son. I want my inheritance now,

(36:04):
I want it now. But whenChrist appeared as the high priests of
the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent,
not made with hands that is notof this creation, his was the
perfect tint his body. He enteredonce for all into the holy places,

(36:30):
not by means of the blood ofgoats and calves, but by means of
his own blood, thus securing aneternal redemption. He is paying the price
of our redemption, to redeem us, to bring us back to the Father.
For we have all, like sheep, gone astray, each of us

(36:52):
has turned to our own way.We are separated from God, and we
need a kinsman redeemer who who iswilling to pay the price and bring us
back. And that's what Jesus isdoing now here. One of the theories
of those that dream up theology. One of the theories is that that Jesus

(37:15):
was paying a ransom. They callit the ransom theory, and that Satan
was the one who was our captive, and so Jesus had to pay a
ransom to Satan in order for usto get free. I have a Greek
word for that. Amen. They'vegot it now, they know that Greek
word. Therefore, he is themediator of a new covenant, so that

(37:42):
those who are called may receive thepromised eternal inheritance since a death has occurred
that redeems them from the transgressions committedunder the first Covenant. We are not
slaves to Satan. We are slavesto sin, and the blood of bulls
and goats can never take away sin. But Jesus, by one offering for

(38:07):
all sin for all time, hastaken away our sin, and we now
can be restored to the Father's Houseand receive our rightful eternal inheritance because we
have been eternally redeemed. His redemptionisn't temporary, it's forever, forever.

(38:34):
Because in my Father's house there aremany rooms. There's room for all of
you, all of you. Ifit were not so, I would have
told you I'm going to prepare aplace for you. We are being restored

(38:59):
to the Father's House through our kinsmanredeemer, who paid the price of our
redemption with his own life and withhis own blood. And then he rose
again from the dead, and hetook with him all of the authority of
heaven as he ascended into heaven.Because he went on to say, well,
let's read this one first. Inhim, we have redemption through his

(39:21):
blood, the forgiveness of our trespassesaccording to the riches of his grace.
And all that the Father has,all the possessions of the Father are mine.
I am the only begotten son ofGod. He is my father,

(39:43):
and everything he has is mind. And I came into this world to use
all of his inheritance that he leftfor the redemption of his household, because
God loves the whole world and gavehis only begotten so and that whosoever would
be leave in him would not perish, but gain the eternal inheritance through the

(40:06):
eternal redemption, and be restored tothe Father's house. Isn't that a gorgeous
picture? All that the Father hasis mind, And now's here where it
gets good. Wasn't that pretty good? Yeah? I was all right,
But listen to this Father, asyou have sent me into the world,

(40:30):
so I'm sending them into the world. Why let's find out. The Master
said to his servant, go outto the highways and the hedges, and
compel people to come in that myhouse may be filled. We are now

(40:55):
kinsman, redeemers. Well, let'sgo further. And we're children of God.
And if children, we are heirsof God, fellow heirs with Christ,

(41:19):
who said, all authority in heavenand earth belong to me. Go
in my name, because you're inair. You're a child of God.
How beautiful on the mountains are thefeet of those who bring good news?

(41:43):
The word good news is gospel. How beautiful are the mountains are the feet
of those who bring the gospel. The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
The Redeemer has come. He haspaid the price of your redemption. You
are already redeemed. You just needto believe it and receive it. And

(42:07):
where to be the bearers of thatnews. Wait, we've not come to
a mountain that can't be touched. We've not come to a mountain that roared
with thunder and lightnings that even thebeasts couldn't get near it or they would

(42:30):
die. But we have come tothe mountain of God, to the assembly
of the first born who are enrolledin heaven are those that try to teach
us that Jesus is the first born. He is the right after it says

(42:53):
the assembly of the firstborn who areenrolled in Heaven, it also says,
and to Jesus two different things. You are a first born. You have

(43:15):
the rights of a first born. You're to be a provider, a protector,
a preserver to take the good newsand rescue the lost and the broken,
and the hurting and the dying,to share with them the good news.

(43:39):
Jesus is a redeemer. He hascome and break open the scriptures,
teach them the pictures, because it'sin the pictures that the Jews conveyed their
history. And it's in this picturetoday that you've seen a new light of

(44:01):
who my Jesus is. But she'salso seen a new light of who you
are. You're a first born whois an heir of all that the Father
has. And we have already beenmade to be seated in heavenly places in

(44:22):
Christ. Jesus, you're already dwellingin the Father's house, and you have
died. And how Christ is livingin you and through you to take this
good news to the world. Stand. Let me, please, Father,

(44:52):
the glory of your pictures, thebeauty of Jesus, our Lord, our
Savior, our redeemer, and ourkinsman, who is our brother and our

(45:21):
friend. We bow in your presence. Lord. My fear is that so
many of us in the church,or like the older brother who simply wants

(45:43):
his inheritance, and not concern forthe wayward brother to be brought back to
the father's house. When Jesus sawthe masses and the multitudes, you said,

(46:07):
you give them something to eat.And Pastor Terra so beautifully told us
the story of the loaves and thefishes. But the loaves and the fishes,

(46:28):
that was only the picture of whatwe can do with a little that
we have, if we'll go inJesus name. Lord, when you came
down from heaven and the people weregoing to make a name for themselves,

(46:52):
you said, they're all of onelanguage. There's nothing that's going to be
impossible for them now. And soyou confused their languages, and you dispersed
them over the whole face of theearth. You put them on the islands,

(47:16):
you put them on the other continents. Every word of the scripture is
true, no matter how people mightwant to argue and deny your word is
true. If nothing was impossible tosinful men, our kinsman redeemers, said,

(47:44):
for you who believe in me,nothing will be impossible. May we
go in our authority, in ourheritage, in our inheritance, as you're

(48:06):
first born, throughout the world, wearing the armor of God and having our
feet shod with the preparation of thegood news of peace, in Jesus' name, Amen,
