We are all a little depraved anddebaucherous. Here is the King of Podcasts,
and hello, everybody has a depravedof the debaucherous. This is King
of Podcasts. Another episode here onthe series, as We Can See You
again talk about all those issues ofdating, relationships and the like, and
tonight's program is no different. Mendesperately dating women and women decidedly dumping men.
(00:29):
It's a horrible time for dating. You can watch more than enough TikTok
videos or Instagram feeds or whatever thereis. There's just a lot that's out
there that could really for someone thatwas actively dating before at a time when
dating apps were not the norm andthe modern woman dynamic was not so push
(00:57):
down our throats to where all theguys feel like if they're going to have
a chance to get a woman's attention, they must have a significant six figure
income, a significant height of sixfoot or more, and a significant girth
and their alloyance of six inches oramong other things. But yes, women
(01:21):
want their unicorn for the most part, and these are the most eligible women.
But there's a lot of reasons whythat's going on. Because of the
fact that there's a lot of brokenfamilies out there, a lot of single
moms and dads that are trying todo what their best they can to raise
their kids. But when single women, single mothers are raising their children,
(01:44):
you know they're not going to havemaybe a lot of great things to say
about their baby's father because it doesn'thappen much. I've done more than enough
research talking to enough women that areonline that are single mothers that are just
they don't have anything good to sayabout their significant other that they fathered a
kid with. Right, there's justnothing like that. I get to my
(02:07):
point now and I'm saying to myselfand I haven't actively dated in about three
years, no two years? Well, no actively, I mean aggressively day
that stuff like that, Ben,I want to say about a decade.
I'm if some of you are outthere, guys, maybe you can relate
(02:28):
to this. You're at the pointwhere it doesn't even matter. I am
about trying to pursue a girl.If you see a girl, you think
you want to go talk to her, you want to make that attempt.
Do you want to have that cringeof like, well, she's not even
into you, not even close unlessyou provide to her like it has nothing
to do with your conversation, yourpersonality, it's your status, it's who
(02:51):
you are. Now. I'm surethis is different for other parts of the
country, but in South Florida,in New York, Los Angeles, all
major cities, you're dealing with thiswhere women feel like they can go ahead
and look how they want, andthey can feel comfortable because the weather allows
them to variably where what they want. And I just feel like now are
(03:15):
at the point where dating apps area joke. As I have said since
the start of this program, whichis now a year old, I'm just
gonna make this point clear that datingapps, your judicial dating apps don't do
anything. Let me tell you this. So I had a girl on Bumble
(03:35):
respond to me. I've had acouple and you know, for the most
part, I get these travel modewomen that will come on and they'll say
they're in West Palm Beach or Pointingor Miami or wherever. And then I
noticed, all of a sudden,oh, they changed their location to Nigeria
or Kenya or you know, Californiaor somewhere else. And I had a
girl that I guess she did inWest Palm Beach. What was the well
(04:00):
no, what was an amazing fee? She said, let me read real
quickly she wrote me on bumble becauseI was like, what on earth is
wrong with you? I remember shegave a snapchat and let me see if
I can find here, if she'shere at all? Home Ark, here
we go. So she goes bythe name Caramel, and first of all,
(04:24):
she answers and says, okay, she thought she didn't have a bumble
anymore. And then I show ascreenshot of her page. Her name is
Katie, she's twenty years old,and you know, it was one of
those extended time things that she respondedback to my mess and I said,
(04:45):
what are you looking for? Sheresponds back, yeah, I know what
are you searching for? Question witha question, I said, I'm looking
at to find a relationship. Okay, I said, you really once,
Palm Beach. That's that's the corruptof the conversation I had so far.
That's it, And she all ofa sudden says, yeah, but I
(05:09):
don't meet unless it's worth it.So let me just make sure I see
this here. Okay. She askedquestions, She asks another question, only
she answers. She says, allright, are you in West Pomby.
She says, yes, but Idon't meet unless it's worth it, so
listen, you're an escort, shesays nope. And I told her,
(05:30):
well, what you're saying is payto play. She says it means spoil
me to get me into you.I say, I'm not judging off.
You're an escort, but you don'thave to say you're not. I didn't
meet you on a sugarady sight. Then she says, I'm not an escort,
honey. Escort means meeting, havingsex and getting paid. She didn't
(05:56):
say paid and getting paid. Ifyou're not spoiling me, I'm not interested.
And then I say, no,you're wrong because I'm trying to say
that. You know that's not whata sport is, right, And then
she writes, I don't care ifI'm wrong. I'm telling you how I
do things. And then I givean explanation and say, listen, I
(06:20):
mean when you try to ask justask me for money like that, you're
treat me like a john. Soyou're not attracted to me. You're not
interested me. You're just looking formoney and that's all you're on here.
And then she says, lol,I'm not even looking. I've been deleted
Bumble. I've been deleted Bumble.I don't even know how my accounts still
there. Boo, you're the oneadded me. I will unadd you.
(06:44):
That was a conversation. This isthe level of conversation on a dating app
like Bumble Bumble. This is whatBumble gives me. And by the way,
I've been on there and I've donepremium subscriptions over there for like thirty
bucks. This is one of thosesites is going to try to go even
higher on the end as well. It's not surprising what the tender does the
(07:06):
same same thing. And I puta pretty decent profile, good pictures on
their current pictures, doesn't know.I mean, that's the that's the level
of dating apps right now. Tenderis Bumble is but due it's match,
(07:26):
you're harming all those all of them, they're all bad. And that's where
we are now. And there's alot of reasons why that's going on.
Partly it's also the fact of what'sbeing done by these dating apps and what
they're doing to go ahead and bringpeople along board catfishing. There's a expose
(07:48):
that Laura Cole atwire dot Com wroteabout customer service reps freelancers being tasked with
luring into lonely and illust through anetwork of dating and hookup sites. So
they're admitting it's happening. Admitting ithappens. So they talked about during COVID.
In this priguter story, they talkedto a young man named Liam responded
(08:11):
to a Facebook add for a freelancecustomer service represent Customers were representative invited for
an on my interview. Interviewer askedhow he felt about moderating day dating websites.
He was asked to adopt fake onlinepersonas known as virtuals, in order
to chat the customers. Most ofthem, most of the men looky of
(08:31):
relationships are casual sets using detailed profilesof customers and well crafted virtuals. We
almost expected to lure people into payingmessage by a message for conversations with fictional
characters. He pretended to be Annatwo thousan one. This is a guy
playing a woman. He played TheRoyals paid to pay one of hundreds of
(08:52):
freelancers have put over the world toanimate fake profiles and chat with people who
have signed up for dating hookup sites. The deception comes from the dating sites
as well, let me make thatclear. This is nothing new. If
you didn't know that we had thiskind of catfishing from the dating apps,
you're Saturday mistake. That's what's goingon. Oh this is Liam is a
(09:16):
she Oh okay, but she stillhas to play the part. But that's
a story that came from wire. Now let's take what a recent story right
now is coming from when it comesto the dating apps. Now and a
new concept that's in dating in datingapps called revenge blocking a poppetter trend.
(09:37):
I'm gonna play a clip here fromNBC News I talked about this and they
talked to a young lady about herexperiences on dating apps. I work from
home and I'm an online student,so I don't really meet people outside in
the real world. But now onlinedating is also changing the way we hold
people accountable, known as dating revenge, and it refers to waves of users
(10:01):
reporting their exes for anything from documentedmisconduct to virtual exchanges causing emotional distress,
often referred to as love bombing.Wow, now you've known people that have
done this too. Where now you'reat the point where some people will see
there's others on dating sites and getthem reported but then also, any little
(10:26):
thing could get a woman triggered, and they could just say, well,
I'm just gonna go ahead just reportyou. It's a redeeming quality for them.
You know. It feels empowering fora woman to go ahead and say,
well, you know, I couldjust reject the guy, but I'm
not gonna just reject them. Iwant to cancer. I'm gonna make sure
he can't get on the side again. Now, by the way, that's
(10:50):
what happened to me. I'm exhibitA because I am banned from plenty of
hitch from Match, Okay, Cupid. What are the other ones? I
forget there's a few others, andI can't think of it right now,
but yeah, I've been through plentyof those where it just happens. What
can I do any more? Inthis story, some people say they've been
(11:15):
booted from the apps entirely, althoughit's not always clear why, but they've
made complaints to the Better Business Bureauover it. One to be bored about.
This is the dating answer not worthit, and dating, in many
cases it's just not helping much either. You want to try and see where
you're gonna do something out of this. It's just not working anyway. More
on the story. In some cases, it completely stops their online dating life.
(11:37):
We haven't reviewed the content of hermessages, but Aaron Sharaba, a
thirty six year old woman in WashingtonState, says that is what happened to
her. Now, before we getto erin, they just showed on the
video which is on YouTube. Thearticles on NBC News's YouTube channel. Revenge
blocking is becoming a popular trend ofdating apps and Aaron, thirty six year
(12:01):
old, Now, let me justsay, she is the quintessential dating profile
for women middle age. She's let'ssay, you know, I'm not saying
anything about her because she's pretty.I think she's cute, but on a
(12:22):
scale like in society, she's aboveaverage attractiveness. She is she's a chubby
girl. Okay, she does havea long brown hair, looks like she
has she has really large brown blueeyes brownish blue, I guess, I'm
not sure greenish blue. Excuse me. She also takes her pictures from the
(12:48):
chest out like it's only seen. You're only seeing her shoulders, her neck,
her face, that's it. Shedoes not show the rough her body.
The insecurities are there, and Iunderstand it. But I'm also one
of those guys that wish there wasa lot of women that didn't feel those
insecurities. But what are you gonnado about it? Right? Anyway,
let's going to get back to Aaronband for about nine months. She believes
(13:09):
it started after an unpleasant exchange witha man. He messages me with some
vulgar stuff and then mentions that Idid not respond to a month plenty of
fish. I was having issues gettingpast their terms of service. She thought
that was the end of it.It wasn't. And then there was another
guy that had asked to go tomy house and I told him no.
Right after that, within like twelvehours, I found out I was blocked,
(13:31):
as you can see here. Now. By the way, the thing
is is that, yeah, there'sguys that don't like the rejection and they're
going to go ahead and try toget a girl blocked. That it goes
both ways, Don't get me wrong. What's happening here is the guys just
don't care. Some of these guysyou're on here, they are predators.
(13:52):
You're just looking to go ahead andfind a girl that they think is easy
enough. The school. That's itbecause that's what dating have to been resolved
to do because dating apps and thepeople that are on dating apps are basically
damaged people. I'm gonna say thisabout including yours truly. I'll put my
hand up. Yeah, we're damaged, emotionally damned. We are dating damns.
(14:16):
We didn't get the brakes, wehad the bad relationships, or we
didn't have any relationships, like myself. That's what happens. It sucks to
have it that way, but that'sjust the way it is. And so
unfortune. And go back to Aaronher and got an email saying she was
banned from plenty of Fish for violatingcommunity guidelines and terms of use. It
(14:39):
did not include specific details of whyshe was banned. No, that's not
gonna happen. Doesn't make a difference. They're not gonna say anything. Match
media group by the way, yeah, plenty of Fish, they're notorious for
that. Plus if you try toopen up a new account, they're gonna
track you down, they will blockyou again. I'll just make that point
it clear. It's a fortune isfor those young lady, but that's what
(15:01):
it is. And let me tellyou, you could try to do the
speed dating that's out there. Youcan try to go and meet people at
like certain singles affairs, but youknow what, it's the same crop of
people that are pretty much damage.I know because plenty of fish have gone
to their dating events, same thing. I remember that nothing special, man
horrible and people that have really gottento the point where they're just not comfortable.
(15:26):
They're barely comfortable in front of acomputer or on their phone talking to
somebody else online. That's how badit is, now, do you understand?
That's how bad it is? Somoving on to the story here,
it's unfortunately dis like this, butyou know what, there's not much else
(15:46):
you can do about it. Nowthey go more into the story about what
they're gonna be doing. Let meget back to her and let me kick
one more part of the story thatthey finish up here with Aaron. Oh,
it's just not right. It's reallymessed up. In spite of the
setbacks, Aaron remained a believer herand she says it paid off for her
(16:07):
actually ended up getting back on twomonths after I was reinstated in that my
partner getting back to dating, gettingback online. Where these days the game
is played by the way, doesn'tshow her partner, and they never asked
about it. We never get tosee the partner. And I understand that
might be a privacy issue that maybethe partners want to be shown, but
we don't know if it's a partner, if it's a woman or a man,
(16:30):
we don't know anything. And maybejust said that to get back on
and partner does a mean relationship, but also just being a friend, because
that's all she wanted to find.Plus, remember, there are plenty of
women out there that I've always said, well, I'll just lookive her a
friend. Sometimes that's what they mean. Sometimes they don't remember it's subcommunication.
(16:51):
You have to understand what a womanmight say not necessarily might be what is
really what she's saying. You haveto just follow along with it. But
it's really troubling, it's confusing alltogether. So there's that story, and
you know, there's a lot ofthings when it comes down to hookup culture,
(17:11):
which is what a lot of peopleare trying to do in the first
place. The collegues today talking abouthow freedom is not just another word for
being nothing left to lose. Hookupculture they talk about here the sex is
not a view as a profound experience. Major rules for maintaining casualness a hook
of culture are drunkenness, a lootness, and of winning tenderness and repetition that
(17:32):
if you're gonna do hookup culture, there is no emotion involved. It's just
sex. You're out pretty much it. Another story I think here is about
if you are dealing with a wolffisher, the deceptive nature of what some
people might do to try to getsomeone that will be attracted to them.
(17:53):
So they're basically just point to manipulateand find their way to get with somebody
else. The new thing is nowwolfishing. We've talked about that on the
program, maybe not on this episode, not on done them to prey the
debouchers, but I know I didn'tone of them. A podcasting, I'm
pretty sure. Do you look forwardon my YouTube channel. If you just
do search for it YouTube dot comand then look for acting a podcast,
(18:15):
it's all there. Plus you canlook for the website ddradio dot live and
you can find a YouTube channel.Go right through and you'll get to it.
Forbes writes about how you know you'redealing with the wolf fisher and wolke
fishing. Realize is for those thatwant to go and talk to you.
(18:37):
And they are supporters, they say, of social awareness and progressivism and explaining
the trend to be pretending to bemore socially conscious of woke in a bid
that you're attract partners. You know, if honestly listen, there are guys
that act like they're male feminists justto try to get close to women.
I know that trick. I'm gonnatried that trick. It doesn't work,
(18:59):
it's not effective. And honestly, you've got to hold that lieout and that
doesn't work, you're going to getexposed or not. Now, the signs
that they say here are actually prettymuch on anything else, anything about the
manipulation, seeming to agree with youon every aspect of every issue you're passionate
about. But then when you dothat, you are taking the risk of
being friends zoned. By doing that, they only need to seem to have
(19:23):
a superficial understanding of the issues theycam to care about, right, they
don't really, They just know whatthey see in the surface of certain stories,
but they never actually participated. They'reperformative. But then again, how
many people that might be progressive areperformative and really do not actually partake in
particular activists issues. They might havean opinion, but are they actively pursuing
(19:48):
the plight of those that are disenfranchisedor oppressed? Right? They may engage
in superficial activism posting about social issuesor social media attending protests without actively participating
in social efforts, are contributing tomeaningful change and finally obsessed with their social
(20:08):
media presence and inconsistent with their opinion. Right, they change and footpop on
a dime. Right, here's thattoo, here's a great story huff Post
UK. Right, So not eightnine non obvious signs you're dating a man
shop I put them into the description, by the way, But if you
can't hold down a job a little, the new ambition to or a drive
(20:29):
for success under aliable when it comesto money. Not mostly supportive, doesn't
take responsibility for disactions, jealous ofother men, no interest in doing anything
productive or creative, or parents stilldo to laundry, cooking and cleaning.
Well yeah, man chop. Andthe thing is that there are women that
will stills take men like this whenthey're early on their dating experience, or
(20:56):
there's something that attracts them or thesex is good something that will make them
say, well, I want usthink of this, and they will getting
themselves into a relationship that's just goingto be bad. We know that happens
a lot too very much on CANDAD. Two more things I want to bring
up before we wrap up the showabout this sexiest words you could say on
(21:21):
a first date. The Good MenProject actually reported this, So let's take
the story. So there's a guythat talks about going on a first date
and how well it went. Thathe met her several years online online she
thought I could and wouldn't marry Shewas a beautiful, cultured, warm and
woody, a PhD psychologist with abeautiful and generous heart. So he said
(21:45):
a couple of things to start offthe date, that we're sexy. Number
one, we're not going to havesex until we look into each other's eyes
and say I love you, andmade it for the depth of our hearts.
And he makes the point about howwomen on the first date don't know
you, especially they meet you online. They don't know if you're a fetishist
(22:07):
on hot head, a raging egotistto perve a player, or an insensitive
jerk. They don't know it yetif they're safe, and so he says
something like this, try to useon a first date. I want to
see something we could just relax anddiscover whoa who each other really are.
So I find you, while theattractive and sexy, I'm not going to
(22:27):
try to kiss you tonight or takeyou home or even a little to Vegas,
so that it's just an opportunity forus to share truth, our visions
and what we want to create inthis life, and to see if we
inspire each other even a little. So I don't make a move or try
to kiss you. Please know usbecause I don't want to. But I
want to save that first kiss.If this ends up begins what I hope
it will be from, when wewill feel truly connected. Let me tell
(22:49):
you, if this guy anybody saysthis line, the girl's just walking away.
They're just way too deep of aconversation on a first date. You
gotta keep cashle keep it cash.I mean, unless there's the talk that
really makes something there. But Idon't know, And that's the part that
I just thought I read. Thisstory is from Adam Gilad, a Stanford
(23:12):
Humanity Center a graduate research fellow.Yeah, I don't know. About this.
We're not gonna have sence, youknow what. The woman's gonna say,
Yeah, we're not, and we'renever going to pay the check.
Pretty much, that's what I thinkwill happen. And by the way,
I want to go ahead and givea shout out to the latest cover model
(23:36):
of the twenty twenty three Sports IllustratedSwim's edition. Wow, Martha Stewart,
eighty one year old Martha Story Andby the way you look at her,
she looks great for eighty one,God bless her. And then she was
a model by the way that you'regrowing up and yeah, it's good.
(23:57):
May Musk was the last person andthat was the oldest before she was in
last year's cover at age seventy four. And she felt good. She feels
she looks really good. And theytalked to Holly Thomas, political researcher,
Assistant professor of medicine at the Universityof Pittsburgh talking to Yahoo Life. For
(24:18):
midlife and older women, it willbe empowered to see someone in their age
group represented on the magazine stands inthe grocery store, you know, somewhere
that everyone's going to come to.Look it's different. If then she was
on the cover of Vogan address theSports Supposed issue holds a special place in
America psynche with regards to beauty ideals. Yes, because no matter what the
(24:40):
Sport US Street SUMPS issue, there'ssomething to be said about what is considered
beautiful. If it was Tera Bankswho looked amazing on the cover, to
Kate Upton, to Cathy Ireland,to Cheryl Tigues, to Polino Poroskova,
I can name a bunch right,Good for them, good on them,
for them to be part of this, and that's fine. That's all I
(25:04):
got for tonight. That is D, D, D and D for tonight.
