Speaker 2 (01:12):
Yeah, you can get it. Actually, you can get it
on HBO. So it put it posts like a day after.
But we have my favorite first episode just came on.
First episode of this season came on yesterday, Monday.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Yeah, so you should just should watch it.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Okay, it's only it's only, it's only forty five minutes.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Girl, oh short and sweet.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah, speaking sister wife TLC. You can see you on
the Discovery plush last HBO. Okay, I got it. Let's
I'll throw I'll text to you. Let's jump right into this.
So this was to our episode, and it was a
good tell all. I mean, for a lot of the
boring shit that was happening, it was actually good and Sam,
everybody was being haters.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
They were being like, that's interesting.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
The tail all is an American tell all.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yeah, Like, well, can I ask you this though, because again,
keep let's keep in mind, this is my first tell all.
And I know that you had mentioned the tell aout
through aut some of our other episodes. I also had
no idea what that meant, only to find out that
the tell all is their way of saying reunion, right.
So every time you kept saying that, I was like, okay,
i't wait to find out what that is, because I
don't know what that is. So only when I turned

(02:19):
it on was I like, oh, okay, this is a reunion.
We're done, got it? And it was yeah, is this
typical with ninety Day Fiance's world? Is it spicier in
the US than it is the UK version? Okay? And
you would say this one you thought was a ten
in comparison.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I did not watch ninety Day Fiance UK season three, Okay,
so I the other seasons two in one they did
not have a tell all. It just ended, Oh, last
week's episode was last week's episode, and that would have
been at the end of it. But they got a
bigger budget. They realized it had more of a following,
and so they did at tell all. I don't know
who Judy Love is, but I love the fact that

(02:59):
I made to see how different like her versus the
US her hosting versus the US person hosting, because she
it felt like to me, Well, first of all, the
person who does the US is another black woman. Her
name is Sean Robinson. Sean does not watch the show.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Okay, what do you mean? How can you put someone
in a position to lead the conversations I mean, I'm
not gonna lie, this wasn't anything particularly riveting or that
it seems that you needed to be a scholar to
be able to ask these types of questions. But I
think at the very least foundationally watching it would be
a good place to start.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Sean in her real life outside of ninety eight fiance
is some kind of like I don't know ABC correspondence person.
I don't know what show she's on, but it's something
where it's like real journalism.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
So does she think she's kind of above It feels
like it.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
It feels like she's above the drama. And she's just like,
wait a minute, let me ask you, Mete, why do
you keep saying darling? It's like that, yeah, Whereas Judy
is like, it's a drinking game across the country.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
How are we gotta.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Don't you know?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
She seems like her and Zena would be sister wise, yes, besties. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
So it's like Judy brings a way better energy. And
we actually got a new person to do the ninety
day fiance tell Alls, and we hope we keep her.
Her name is Suki and she actually does the like
interviews and I guess tell Alls force uh, the Brown family,
you know seeking you know sister wives, not Seeking sister wives,
regular sister wives. So it's like it's all in the

(04:36):
same world of like hosts needed to come on and
actually watch the show and be prepared with their own
questions and like run it by producers so that we
can I feel like Sean Robinson don't come with no questions.
Every question is given to her and sometimes she's like, oh,
I'm not going to ask that.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Oh no, no, no. See. I feel like the tell alls
or reunions are something that fans of show, of any
show go into it at the beginning knowing that it's
how you bookend the show essentially, and people are sometimes
dying for that last little morsel of chaos or something,

(05:13):
especially because it's so fascinating that these couples have never
interacted outside of them watching others. They're like us, yep,
watching all these other couples, except that they just happened
to be part of the storyline. And I thought that
that was so interesting because I thought it was just
so fascinating just seeing them introduce themselves and get to
know each other, when in my head they're all part
of the same corner of my brain. So I really

(05:36):
did appreciate that. But I'm glad to know that this
was a better iteration of other seasons and regions of it,
because I found it entertaining from the beginning, really.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
So did I. I love that they went into the
dressing room with Judy and Judy was like I want
to know this, I want to know that, and I
was like, wow, she has so much more energy than
Sehn Robin immediately first sentence, so much more energy. And
then they even did this interesting thing which they don't
quite do in the US, but they do something similar
where they catch them once they come to the studio.
In the UK, they actually did. They actually had a cabby,

(06:07):
like a quintessential London cab pick them up from wherever
and then have conversation that person who brought in Eberma,
I mean pay him extra tip?

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Oh yeah, yeah, there's a tip. There was someone who
was driving, because there were several of the cast members
who got out of the car and it was the
same driver. And then I ended up seeing that person
again in some of the background footage throughout the you
know this episode, and I thought maybe I was like, oh,
is this a producer or maybe they were somewhere else
off site and it was a brief like let's move

(06:36):
you from the hotel to this, because it was the
same person. So a part of me was curious about
that because I was like, how are they having so
much conversation already that the cameras are already filming and
they're getting something way before they even sit with Judy. Yeah,
I hadn't ever seen that before.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
I didn't even notice that they do that in the
in the US.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
So too.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
In the US, they show them getting out of the
it's a black it's a it's a black suburban though
you know it's not. It's a black suburban, and they
get out of that with all their clothes and stuff,
and then they get let into the sound stage and
then they go to their perspective like little curtained doph spaces.
But AnyWho, So the couples are in the caves and
everyone kind of has something to say about how excited

(07:15):
they are about seeing certain people. Sam speaks, Shanna says
that she had a talk with God and isn't there
for drama, but is there for peace? And then I
saw the outfit she was wearing.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
God didn't say that come on.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Girl, she's the least Mormon Mormon. It's like when Mormonism
went across the pond, it lost a little bit of
like its whiteness, it lost a little bit of its
like piety. And it's like culture because beyond beyond it
being a religion, being Mormon is also a culture. It's
it's it's outside of the church. It's the way people

(07:52):
breathe and move every single day. And she ain't that
girl with that dress on. She looked she looked great,
but she looked un Mormon.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
I don't know she's talking to, but I don't think
it's God. Someone on the other side of that call.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
List in church. That's what she is. So Sarah wants
to see Zena because she thinks she's so hilarious. Mete
can't wait to meet Ibrama. And Ibrama is in London
for the first time, and he is so excited, and
I the whole time, I'm just like, is he here
by himself? Like somebody needs to be with him? This

(08:27):
is unsafe.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
I literally thought the whole time. I was like, so
you were able to come to London, you don't need
z what's up, Visa?

Speaker 2 (08:36):
How do you hate the visa is my question.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
So Sam gets there and she's already done the tell
all before. She says, and this is how I know
that they had a tell all last season and not
and this is not the first tell all because I
remember Sam from her first season, which is season two.
I didn't want her second season and season two did
not have a tell all. So I was like, okay, okay,
I get it. So she says, so she's here for

(09:02):
the drama. She says, there's couples are here boring and
she's gonna tell them she she's boring, they're boring. And
I feel like what it is that Sam watched the
US version of the tell all and she was like,
we need to bring it, We need to bring the
energy because nice she did. She's like, I'm not gonna
be nice.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
She did say that. She did say, you know, I'm
here to be direct, I'm here to be truthful. I'm here.
And a part of me was like, is this love
and hip hop? Is this? Like? Why are you coming
in so hot? Because there are certain shows where you
can understand where there's a lot of energy like that,
especially when there's so much interaction between the cast members.
But this was not that, so I felt unprepared for

(09:37):
that energy from her.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Oh yeah, No. They like this in the regular season too,
This when they have like really strong opinions, especially those
who feel like the partner is there for the wrong reasons.
We'll get into it, okay.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
They're the ones that come with more aggression a little bit.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
So they're the ones who come there who who the
other castmates feel is using the American for the visa.
So sometimes what happens is the foreigners, maybe the foreigner man,
foreigner woman will be mad at another castmates foreigner per
partner because they're like, you are the reason why it

(10:14):
was hard for us to get our K one visa
because you're faking it and we're not faking it, like
you're clearly using her. And that sucks for us because
because we actually love each other. So there's a little
bit of that energy too. So in the green room
they have a chat and Andy thinks that Sam will

(10:36):
be interesting to watch and is very hilarious. We find
out that Ali broke his toes after being drunk one
night and coming home and sleeping on a wet floor.
Now I forget that he is Muslim, because we have
we run the gambit of what it means to be Muslim.
We have Abrama who's a scammer but also doesn't drink,
and then we've got Ali who is Muslim and drinks

(10:57):
and fox and does all the things.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
And yet the one who, at least in this episode
is like casting some stones at certain points where you're
just like, uh, sir, yeah, somebody's lying and it ain't
mean Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
So we needed Oddnan here to round it out. We
needed here as a third Muslim, help help us, help
us understand what's going on. So Shanna gets offered some
wine and she's like, a can't drink and I'm like, girl,
if the cameras were not on, you would have a
sip or two. I know it. Uh Andy thinks that
Shanna is delusional. Uh, and then she says to everybody,

(11:31):
everybody in the room because he actually broaches his conversation.
He's like, I'm surprised Odnon's not here, and she's like,
you know what, that's odd Non people come into your
life for a reason in the season, and I'm just like, girl,
you were too old. You're too old for this, like
for the yes, foolishness. Yeah, And so Phil comes Finn

(11:51):
comes in, and that man, I didn't even think he
needed to lose that much weight, but he literally lost
half of himself.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
He looked borderline unrecognizable when he walked in. I ever
being like I thought, asked for you on that Olympic
do you boo? Do you like if that's what you
want to be great? But I'm also my understanding was
that this didn't film that long ago. Yes, I'm just
kind of fascinated by. But equally, I can understand when

(12:19):
people are watching themselves back on a camera screen and
they feel, you know, insecurities come up. We're all human,
and maybe he didn't like what he saw, or maybe
you know, a lot of people went through a lot
during COVID, getting weight, losing a lot of stuff. So
maybe I don't know what he had looked like originally.
But I wonder because when they were show glimpses of
when he was kind of parody running for office, he
looked the same as he did in the show. So

(12:40):
I think this is a drastic change for him.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Yeah, And I just don't know because we don't understand
the timeline. I know that this cast has watched the
full season, whether or not they watched it live, or
they watched it they got the season given to them,
because you can get the season given to you by
the producers. So we don't know. I don't know how

(13:03):
and when they watched it, but they watched it to fruition,
which is good to know. And so we also have
he walks in with the bean mask and Sam is like,
it's so creep a and then he tries to come
near her and she gets up and runs away like
a weirdo.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
And it's like, girl, okay, it is creepy.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
It's creepy, but to be like no, no, and to
get up and run away, it's like weird. So Ibrahma
comes and he's seen all the sights. They took him
to Big Band, they took him to the eye, It
took him, they took him everywhere. Okay, So he was
like yeah, I'm like, was he allowed to at least
bring one friend? Like again, I'm sorry the sister the

(13:45):
sister wife and so uh, Sandra thinks that Sam is
rude and she doesn't like rude people. And I'm like, girl, Sandra, again,
you didn't sign up for this show. But so you
don't know that you're supposed to be rude kind of
and also like finish rude, finish mad.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Oh my gosh, that you know what's crazy. I didn't
think about that until you said it right now. But
I was so taken aback that these people have opinions
of each other, because in my head, I'm like, this
is new. It's just my brain just wasn't understanding the
fact that these people don't know each other, because I
thought that they would have hashed out their feelings about
all of this, about different personality traits. I thought that

(14:26):
would have been before I was introduced to the series.
So it was so interesting for me to be like, oh, wow, yeah,
you are absorbing these people for the first time, and
you too have opinions about how they've moved in their relationship,
how they moved with their own family members, and you know,
all of this stuff. It was so interesting to even
see Sandra have an opinion like that, because again, we
barely saw her react to some of Finn's really atrocious behavior,

(14:49):
at least not in that vocal way. She's never said, oh,
he's rude or he is this, or she's never said
any of that. At most, I think she said he
was stubborn and even that's not even particularly that's not
really an insult rude, I think is obviously more direct.
And then Sandra goes on to say that she's incredibly shy. Yeah,
so I was like, you're shy, but you're direct, which
I love that. I love that kind of energy. But

(15:10):
I just thought it was so surprising.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
Yes, I would definitely say it's surprising for sure. Uh
So when they all kind of sit down, they ask
Ibramo where Zena is, and instead of Ibrama being like,
I don't know, he's like, oh, she's at home. And
they're like why and he's like, oh she's not here,
like what yeah, and they're.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
Like it's not a language thing anymore. I have had
to let that go. I've realized he knows exactly what's
going on. Yeah, he's just like, joke, everything's a joke.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
I think that he wanted to pretend like they were
still together, and so he didn't want to say he
didn't a know where she was because if if they
were still together, then he would know, and so then
who Then Shorana's like, why are you guys still together?
And he's like yep. And then and then he's then
she's like, well, we all know the truth. That's not true.

(16:05):
You're lying. Just be honest, and he's like what together.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
He doubled down. He said, I'm dying on this hill. Yeah,
I'll say I think he really is. Just like what
do the birds say? Taking the piss?

Speaker 2 (16:19):
I guess, And I don't really even know what that means,
taking the like taking the piss out of you is
I don't I don't know what that means, joking with.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
You or yeah, or like dracking it mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
So Sand they separate the guys in the gals and
then someone pretends to do shor his hair.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
No one, because I was like nothing, nothing, No one
can even.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Do Sandra's hair because Sandra has a beautiful Xandra is
dressed so oddly classic and cute in a way that
I would not have. She's wearing a royal blue, very
fitted dress with a blue bow in her hair and
her hair pulled back. And Finn was actually matching her
because he had like velvet blue shoes to kind of
go with it.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
For you for noticing that, I didn't even notice that.
But she did look amazing. I thought she looked really
really beautiful.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Yeah, she did very classic, very simple, no not allowed
of makeup. She was giving the natural girl beauty. It
was it was cute. Yeah, And so they asked her
like what do you think of the UK? And she's
like the truth and they're like yeah. She's like, I
can never live here. I love I love Brazil so much.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
I want to go back. I love my country.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
I'm like, yeah, real, nice, you love your country.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Like.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
So then we cut to Fen, who's like, all right, chaps,
let me ask you a question because I'm a radio
host and I'm going to take over this segment because
I'm important, and so what do you think about me
proposing to Sandra here? And Andy's like, bro, you already
did that and it was a bad idea, so I
don't I don't necessarily that you should do that. And
Era was like, yeah, sounds good.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Well not for nothing. Abram was a little bit like
I just do it, and I was like, don't listen
to that man at all. Thank God for Andy because
Andy was the only one who at least was a
bit sensible and was like, you know what, brother, I'm
not gonna I'm not gonna lie to you. That doesn't
sound like what she wants and you also try that

(18:16):
on the radio and you said you were embarrassed. And
now so you're gonna pivot to national TV and up
the Andy even more and do it again. Do you
hear how I hear it? That's how I felt Andy
was talking to him. Are you is it landing? Because
that's and then that's when he's like, hmm, what's your point?
Like the fuck?

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Whoa.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
Meanwhile, Aara is like I missed my husband.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
They're he's right there. Girl up and of course then
say I'm like, oh, just you wait, just you wait.
I'm like, oh man, no, her piatian love, leave her,
leave her alone.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
So but then we cut to Mette who says that
he likes Marco and Sarah. He's like, I like them.
They are romantic.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Sam says that she's ready to speak her mind because
they're all about to go on stage now, She's ready
to speak her mind. Marco says that he's gonna protect Sarah.
So this is the point where they the producers ask like,
if someone comes at your partner, what are you gonna do?
And so then they all have to like sound off
and say that they're gonna support it, like Matte says
is gonna he's gonna support Shannon. Marco says he's gonna
protect Sarah, and then Shorna goes, I'll do do it

(19:23):
in a way. I will speak my mind and defend myself,
but I'm gonna do it in a way that the
Holy Spirit approves. Girl, if you don't shut up, if
you don't shut up, and auras like, I am good
and come, but I can be very fiery. So if
someone comes for me, then I will come for them.

(19:44):
And we saw it.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
I wanted to see it a little more of it.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
I did.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
I liked what I saw from her with her energy,
and I like that. I like when people have that
kind of untapped like don't start, no ship, don't be
no ship.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Yeah, don't start. I can activate, There'll be no I
t yes.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Right, but I can. And I like that. She was like, oh, okay,
we're going to take it there. Did you want to
start it off? Finish it? Like yeah?

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Yeah. So they all walk onto stage. Judy says hi
to Ibrama and he goes to sit in her seat
and she's like, bloke, get the funk up, and he's
like oh ha ha ha ha. Yeah. So then they introduced.
She introduces this to everyone, and then all of a sudden,
she's like, but y'all, we have a special guest. Then
say she doesn't say y'all, but everyone, we have a

(20:27):
special guest, and it's Zena, And everybody applause that Zena
comes in. Ibram picks her up and kisses her, and
we can tell that it's not a comfortable. First, she's like,
steady on, steady on.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
Yeah, yeah, it caught everybody by surprise. I don't think
anybody expected that, Xena included, nobody really expected that. But yeah,
I I listen. Zina was a star. She's a star.
She was incredibly entertaining, and I think had she not
been there, it would have been like we would have
missed something pivotal, something, you know, the the kind of

(21:01):
essence of this series.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Yeah, they even give her her own little segment where
she reintroduces herself and talks about how you know, she's like,
I wish it would have been born beautiful or no
something she says about being born beautiful and like all
these things. So we get this her essence.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Rich instead of shed wish I would have been born
rich instead of beautiful. Yeah, I was like, oh shit.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Period.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
So then Andy says I think she just wanted a
fuck buddy, and he's like, I didn't. I don't mean
any offense by that. She's like, no, none taken. You're right,
I just wanted to.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Have sex love. She has incredible self awareness though not
for nothing. I gotta commend it, and.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
She's not afraid to just be like, yeah, that is me.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
And then Judy cuts to Ali and is like, hey, Ali, like,
what do you think of this? And that's when Ali
is like, well, you know, you shouldn't be having sex
before marriage, and Sina, very calmly, is like did you
wait to have sex before marriage? And Ali is quiet
and Sam is like shaking her head, shaking her head,
and then he finally goes what, oh yes, and she's
like that's not what's some I'm.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Saying, and and yeah, yeah, I'm glad that they did that,
because sometimes in shows, there will be those moments where
everyone knows what the truth is and they'll be faces,
but no one continues to press the question to be like, no,
what was it? Did you wait or not? Because sometimes
people will vaguely ask it, did you wait? Oh, I

(22:23):
don't know, moving on no answer it did you? Wait?
Oh you did it? Okay? Copy because I thought somebody
said something. I thought I love those I.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Love said something.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
So then we cut back to Zena and Ibrama and
then they talk about Ibrama's extra Facebook page. Girl, just
a bunch of stuff we don't care about at all.
We know he's a scammer. You don't need to.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Producers found another who the fuck cares? Like really? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (22:53):
And then they then they uncovered the whole thing. Remember
how I sent you that video and I was like, well,
this is not the first person that she has gotten
married to or been engaged with in the Gambia, And
so they bring that up and then we see the
footage of her saying I just went to.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
The man's house and it turns out and he's married
and I'm stuck here at my friend's house with a
tin of fish and a pop pie and nothing to
my name. And then she's like then Judy's like, what
was that? And she's like it was a skit?

Speaker 2 (23:23):
What'd you think about it? You think it was a skit.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
I don't think it was a skit, but I also
don't think it was like this, Oh woe is me
this horrific moment of her finding out that this man.
I don't think it was any of that dramatic shit
I think they I think it was just a super stretch.
But it sounds like the same way. Abrama is like
a jokester and like like just flippant about certain things.

(23:45):
Zena's incredibly like lighthearted and just like yes, whatever, yeah
it's cool. Yeah that was supposed to be funny. Yes,
I don't care, and I understand it. But I just
felt like the producers wanted to spend more time there
and really want them to disagree about it so that
the audience could have more entertainment. And I didn't. I
don't think any of them. They weren't biting, like they

(24:07):
were just like oh yeah, that wasn't that deep anyway.
Why what happened like like chill shit, And I don't
I don't think it became what they wanted it to become.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Yeah, that's I think for sure the truth. So she
confirms that Ibrama was her first boyfriend in the Gambia
and that the picture they found online of her with
somebody else just a beast bum who lives on the
beach in Gambia and Ibrama confirms that that's who that is.
He also confirms that his sister is his sister, and
that's the end of that. It's not his wife. She

(24:38):
says that everybody loves her and they love her energy
because she's a riot and she's fun, and they invite
her to the hen party, but they don't invite her
to the wedding. And I'm like, damn, you get invited
to not even that girl. You get invited to the bride,
the bridle shower, and the bachelorette party, but they don't
invite you to the wedding.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
That no, No, that's too far. The wedding's got you
gotta keep it class, they gotta keep it cute, can
be falling over.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
We don't know she's gonna do. I'm like, that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
The liability. She's a grenade. You never know when she's
just gonna Erupt's the time she's the.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
Time a time was had and that has that time
with Xena. So then we move on and Judy makes
a comment about our just gripping Andy's and she's like,
you hold on to her. Man, She's like, So we
talk a little bit more about Andy and possibly him
wanting to be with our simply because she's Filipino and

(25:31):
he wants a bang nurse. Then the rumors that that
he is an ATM for her family, and he's like,
first of all, where's the money that I have that
I'm just sending over to them? And we all know
that they both have a job. So it's like, why
is he the ATM machine when she has a job? Secondly,
a career.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Secondly, we have been talking about the fact that she
is clearly from a from a family that isn't poor.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Right, they may not be rich, but.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
They're not in destiny in the way that we've seen
a lot of Filipino women who date these American men
have been. It's not the same. I was like the
fact that her mother speaks English, her sisters everyone speaks English,
which means that they must have some kind of job
where they are speaking English.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
And he described it as upper middle class. Yeah, they're
they're fine, They're okay.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
So it's like this idea that she just needed came
to the US in order to say the UK, in
order to send money back home, which is what people do.
I mean anyway, Yeah, but it's like we could all
tell that that wasn't the case.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
I didn't see any signs of that. Yeah, I can
understand that the discourse around it just because people always
assume that that that's that it's financial, it's transactional. But
that's nothing indicated that between these two.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
Nothing at all, Nothing at all. So she says that
she was thirty years old and at that point in
her life, it was time to choose her happiness. She
even made mentions later on in the episode that she
had planned on being a Spencer Spinster. She hasn't wasn't
even looking for love or looking for marriage, but then
she just like ran into Andy and it just kind
of worked out. And so she also says that the

(27:09):
part of the thing that the reason why she liked
being on the show is because she liked to share
her love story to let people know that things like
this can actually be real and come true. Then we
have a little video from our's mother and everybody starts crying.
I mean, Sam gets up and walks away.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
I thought that was I thought it was beautiful. I
thought it was moving. Obviously, always want to hear from
paren and you know her saying she was proud of
her who knows they seem like a like stoic in
certain way. So maybe that's one of the few times
that our mom is at least that vulnerable. Even Arra
says that that's the fourth time she's ever cried in
her life, and she can count all of those four times.

(27:46):
It was clearly meaningful. But other people I just thought
it was like, wrap it up, wrap it up, y'all,
do too much, you do too much. Like I get it.
It's beautiful, shout out to you. Your mom loves you.
That's fire good. Let's move on.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Let's move on. Yeah great. So uh then we move
on to Finn, and we go in on Finn and
Sandra and his basic disdain for her kids and his
fun little sound bites that he would make these comments.
It was painful to hear again Yeah yeah, yeah, they
are like so what did you think? Like really, what's
the tea? And he was just like, well, I fell

(28:20):
in love and I just didn't think about her kids.
And then asy was a great question, yeah, and he
was like, how do you think that was gonna work
work it out? How did you?

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Yeah? Fair? Yeah, yeah, actually that yeah, fair question. I
just oh my god, I just that his segment just
reminded me of how annoyed I was by him the
whole time. Yeah, I agree with my whole shit, I
would say that, And also I think a part of
me is also kind of upset with Sandra that you
would tolerate being around someone for so long who has

(28:54):
such a disdain for children as a whole, but especially
your children, and just didn't see himself warming up to
them at all, Like you have a duty to protect
those babies emotionally, everything, and I'm not here to bachelor
as a parent because you know she's doing the best
she can and all that stuff, But just to hear that,
not just in the moment, because he was taking to

(29:15):
her face. It's not like this was in the confessional
and she's just hearing it on this tell all, it's
right now. She was hearing it again, and of course
she's getting emotional, and I thought she was. Maybe it
was I don't think it was a language barrier thing,
because I think she speaks perfectly fine, but I wish
she would have been like, honestly, that pisses me off, like,
how dare you speak about my children that way? And
we made it very clear that will not be accepted.

(29:35):
And the only reason we're here to get is because
that changed. Because one thing I'm not gonna do is
tolerate somebody speaking crazy about my babies. You got me
super fucked up. That irked me real bad. Yep.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
And I think that's what we needed from her too.
And she's like, I'm a very shy person and my
English is not that great. And I'm like, girl, your
English is fine, perfect when you need to tell him off, okay,
And if you can't stay in English, stay in Portuguese, bitch, Like,
we'll they'll put the subtitles on the bottom.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
But the producers to work, they'll figure it out.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
They'll get it, they'll get it done. So he says
that it was filmed over a huge amount of time
and since then his opinion and feelings have changed, and
that he's allowed to, like, you know, kind of go
through this. And Sam makes some kind of comment about it,
and he's like, are you jealous? And Sam's like, what
the fuck would I be jealous for. I'm gonna tell
you I have a pet peeve with people assuming that

(30:22):
other people are jealous. And I'm like, where do you
eat it? Is it? Okay?

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Listen?

Speaker 2 (30:27):
I work. I go out of my way to like,
I'm not jealous of people. That's an emotion I really
don't have very often, not since I was a little kid.
I think that I got to a point in my
life where I was like, this is a wasteful Envy
and jealousy are wasteful emotions, right, And I could either
make two decisions. I could do one of two things,
do nothing or do something. If I'm jealous of somebody,

(30:50):
I'm envious of what somebody has, I need to work
to get it like or let it go. Yeah, because
there's no reason to feel that. And and I've discovered
that there are a lot of people in this world
who just readily feel jealousy and don't feel no way
about it.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Yeah, you know, to me, I felt that Finn was
just someone who was trying to roast somebody and use
the wrong words because to me, I'm like, what about
this moment gave jealousy? Like that's an incorrect descript or
to describe what's going on right now. If I'm Finn,
I'm there, like, what's funny you over there? Key King?
Like what's triggering you from over here that you feel

(31:26):
that you're emoting so strongly right now, or like what
are you mad about over there? Something like that. I
would have been like, say with your chest, like you
obviously feel the way I say something. I don't think
jealousy is what she was feeling, but I think he
was bothered, annoyed, or irritated by something. Then I would
have been like, are you irritated? Then she would have
been like, actually, yeah, why because you're boring or whatever
she was reputing saying yes. But I think he just

(31:48):
was trying to roast and didn't know how because of
he just don't be in those spaces to have to
bark back at people. And I think he just misspoke,
which and I'm not trying to forget what he was saying,
because jealousy was incorrect. She was not jealous. That was
not That was not what that moment called for at
all at all.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
Yeah, So I wrote down Sandra and Finn's segment is hard.
It was just boring to me, and it was just like,
why are we beating the dead horse with like they
shouldn't be together. They bring on Elouisa. Elouise is like,
I think he's just wasting my sister's time. He's never
gonna move to Brazil, he's never gonna learn the language.
Like he may like her, but he doesn't want to
do the things that she requires for them to move forward.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
Basically, no new insight. That's what we got from there
from the season.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Yeah, Andy thinks Sam is rude, and I'm like, no,
Sam is what the tell all is supposed to be.
Sam is bringing the energy that we require, So thank
you very much.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
Yeah, I don't think I don't. I think that's also
another incorrect kind of descriptor. I don't think Sam was rude.
I think that's who she is. I think she's very direct.
A part of me is like you must live in
the UK part that's closest to Ireland, because that's the
energy I'm getting from just very direct forthcoming like yeah,
I'll say it and in my hurt your feelings. But
is there a lie and what I said? No, probably not,
So you can't you know, you can't say I'm not

(33:00):
being truthful. Yeah, yeah, but you're right. It makes great TV. Yep.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
So they take a break and Xena and then go
to the back and Xena tells Mette that he looks
better off camera, and Sannon looks more beautiful, and I said.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
That's somebody's name, that's what grandmother?

Speaker 2 (33:18):
Yeah, crazy Yeah. So Stan then reiterates that she thinks
everybody's being boring, and then they go back on stage. So, uh,
Judy asks Sam about the boring comment, and Aara's like,
I'm sorry, I'm not here to be fighting for your
entertainment and we're like, great, great, Ara, that's your storyline

(33:39):
because guess what your storyline isn't boring. But Shannon and Mete,
Marco and Sarah.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
Yeah, boring, boring. But I will say this, I have
felt that the most the lasting relationships are one that's boring,
which means which And when I say boring, I just
mean there's no unnecessary drama. There's not anything. There's no
consistent thread of argument over the same thing. Like Sam
and Ali argue all the time about his gaming habits

(34:07):
that he won't let go. Finn and Sandra argue constantly
because he's not speaking the language and he's not turning
things around the way she needs to. You know, ad
no On and Shorana Lord knows, we can talk about
that forever. But I say that to say that, like
those couples have a consistent thread of a chaotic pain
point that they have not sorted out yet. And some
of those other couples don't like well even with you know,

(34:29):
Marco and Sarah and how annoying little things were. If
there was an issue, it was like, Okay, I don't
want to you know, I don't want to ask your dad.
Don't want to ask your dad, but you know I'll
ask your dad. Fine, let's muvel on. I asked him.
He said, yes, period done, And that's not an issue anymore.
And they can arrive at they can argue, arrive at
a conclusion, move on, let it go right. And I
think those are healthy relationships. And I think that Sam's

(34:50):
interpretation of boring really means healthy.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
I can see what you're saying and in.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
Some ways not. It's not a blanket, obviously.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
I can see what you're saying. I just think that
Sam and no Sam, I think that Sarah and Marco
are boring and should not have been on the show people. Yes,
I think that they're boring because they they're boring because
the producers did not go in on him for his
not him not wanting her to dance. Yes, for there's

(35:20):
certain things that he did do that work that was controlling,
and they just didn't cover it. Mete and the joke
of it.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
They did approach it in a really lighthearted way despite
all the controlling characteristics that came through. That's a good point.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Yes, they didn't do their due diligence to me the
way they should have on Marco. Sarah is not the problem.
It's Marco that they should have, Like, I agree with that.
And then Mete and Shannon, they were boring only because
like we were seeing a certain part of their relationship
where we already knew that they I don't know, it
felt like she's already entrenched in the community, like she's
entrenched in whatever is happening.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
They're not going to their journey.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
Yeah, they're not going to break up. They've already gone
through that early stage of like mistrust with him working
at the hotel. By the time we saw them, this
is not her first trip. They're you know, they're pretty
established and this was the next step of them actually
getting married. So they weren't necessarily boring. I think it
was boringly produced And yeah, producers did a bad job

(36:20):
with him. So yeah, So AnyWho, we then moved to
to Shorna and Shorna is sitting there and they're like, okay,
let's move on to Shortna. And then they're like, well,
we have a surprise guest for Shorna and Shorna. It's
her daughter right there, their daughter, Kayla. Shorna gets up

(36:42):
and walks away and she cries.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
She run me tell you what. She ran right past that.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
Let me tell you why.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
I think we're gonna agree on this, but I'm interested
to hear why you think she did that.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
She cried because she thought it was odd.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
None talk about it same. That's exactly what I was
gonna say. She literally was like she had a bit
of she was hopeful, a tiny bit, even if it
was to confront him live on camera. She really thought that,
Oh he changed his mind and he came back to
you rest me.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
He showed up to like have the conversation. And then
Kayle was like, what my mom crying? And I was like, bitch,
this ain't the alleys of whatever London. You're who are
you fighting?

Speaker 1 (37:17):
She said, I'm not gonna let to whyse my mom crying?
How about you gonna find out?

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Yeah, you're the one.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
You just walked right by her turn around and go
talk to your mama. Don't what the fuck that was?
So that part was so weird, and Judy was like,
you came out with am I supposed to know I'm
on the side. What the fuck? That was so weird?
None of us knew.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
I left that. Judy gave it right back. I was like, bitch,
I don't know right what the fuck you were backstage?
You heard you were what I just said. We'll find
out what you get right by crying?

Speaker 1 (37:47):
We didn't you shift her in your white dress? Questions
turn around? That was so weird, but she was. She
was so hopeful. She was so hopeful that was gonna
be him. She was like, my daughter is raggedy as
kidd ex because you looked beautiful, but still, you know
what I mean, that's not who she expected.

Speaker 2 (38:06):
Yeah. So she says that she feels really embarrassed that
she got her family involved in this, and when they
asked her like some of these questions of like you
don't think you were wrong for becoming Mormon on his
ass and she was like, well, it had been months
since we had spoken, and even though I still considered
him my boyfriend, I decided to found to find Jesus,

(38:28):
and I did or to find the Latter day Saints,
not Jesus, because that's a different Jesus, to find the
Latter Day Saints. And then I found God and then
he came back into my life. And then I was like,
oh shit, so while you were away?

Speaker 1 (38:40):
No, and then and right, and then Judi was like,
so you still considered yourself his partner in those three
plus months that he ghosted you? And she said yeah.
At that point, I was like, babe, babe, I can
I can't help you. I can't help you. That's crazy
after three months, I don't know you. Who's this was it?

(39:02):
Are you joking? That was so weird, so true.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
And Kayla's like, I just think my mom was being
dumb to be honest.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
Like locket Ruth. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
Crazy. So then we cut to Marco and Sarah turns
out that they actually got married. Everyone's excited for them.
They got married in Italy and like hookers, and they
didn't invite the cameras at all. There was no footage
of it, not even a found Footagey didn't even have
them being like we're married, no pictures, nothing, and.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
It looked like a an actual wedding. It wasn't like,
oh a little back too our courthouse situation, like it
was a celebration.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
Mm hm, because it rained and they thought it was
good luck because it doesn't I don't know. And I
was like, damn, they didn't even show us a picture
of it. Did it happen right?

Speaker 1 (39:48):
This is real? AI?

Speaker 2 (39:50):
Yeah. So then we cut to Sam and Ali's journey
and we I mean, they're just a lot of yelling
at each other. But basically the end of the Morelos
story is when we left them at the end of
the season, they had promised that they would save up
money so that he can get a visa. It turns
out that she has since then been back to Turkey

(40:11):
at least one time and has spent all the money
that I guess only she was saving up for it,
and so she's like, that's my money, and I'll spend
it how I want to. We were under the impression
that he would save money too, so it shouldn't have
been just her money, but also legally, illegally for the US,
it would have been both of their moneys regardless of
it was her money, and she felt like she felt

(40:32):
like it was her money, so she was gonna spend
it the way, and so he gave her an ultimatum,
if you come here one more time, bitch, I'm a
divorcing you don't come here again. Save it the money
so I can come there, and so she's like, I,
you know. They they start to argue about the gaming again,
and everybody wants him to say that he's gonna quit gaming,
and he's like, everyone deserves a hobby, and I agree.

(40:53):
But then they're like, we find out that from her
perspective because we can't get a straight answer out of him.
Him and ibrahmar Cu from the same crazy a cloth
that he sometimes he doesn't even text her in the
day to tell her hello or hi or good morning
or good night. I don't know what the time difference is,
but sometimes it.

Speaker 1 (41:09):
Might be unhappy. That's significant from the UK to let
me see what go ahead, talk to her. It can't
be anything, it can't. They're they're not that far. And honestly,
I understand both sides of it. I understand because at
that point Judy starts to say, but you're you're a
wife now, and therefore you know what you guys are
saving up to. This is a this is a relationship
goal that you're both working towards, which is to get

(41:31):
him to to the UK, because that's what you guys
agreed on, That's where you both agree that you were
going to live. And so if that is the journey,
then I think it's understandable to be concerned about the
fact that that she is spending unnecessarily and then but
then equally throwing back in his face the fact that
he is not in the UK, or that they haven't
submitted for the visa or all of that other thing.

(41:52):
Like multiple things can be true, but equally it can't
be one and the other if you're if you're spending
all your bread and I understand her point of being like,
but this is my hard earned money. I have the
right to if it's something small, like I have the
right to, you know, go get a pedicure every two
weeks if I want to do that, like not every
single penny has to go. I understand that they didn't
go into details about what she was pending the money on,

(42:12):
but it sounds they were making it seem that it
was frivolous, that it was just like I'm vacationing, I'm
doing this, I'm doing that I will say, I think
Sam has also lost a bit of weight, yeah, because
she you know, she did look, you know, a lot
slimmer than she did during the season. But so I
don't know what it could be. It could be paying
for medications. I'm not sure what the situation. Who knows,
but there's clearly a disconnect there. And then the issue

(42:33):
is that he's threatening divorce. He's not just saying don't
come back here, you know, he's saying, well, yeah, you're right,
He's saying I will divorce you. And she's like, how
can I operate when this is what you're hanging over
my head constantly? They don't belong together these they hate
each other. They don't.

Speaker 2 (42:46):
So it's it's two or three hours ahead of them.
So like, yeah, she's like, I'm waiting for him to
say hello to me, and he doesn't say anything. And
it's like, if you don't feel like I'm oh, book.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
You know, it wasn't an entertainment, she says, you don't
tension and she was like, what attention? What attention? And
she kept pushing back on really everything. So it seems
like there's trouble in Paradise, but.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
It's always been like that. It's always been like.

Speaker 1 (43:10):
That, right, they got married even like despite that, and
it was happening before.

Speaker 2 (43:15):
You're saying, I guess because they have good sex.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
No, that can't be it. That can't be it. I
don't see that happening for either one of them. This
is not like oh one or the other. No, they
that doesn't look like that happens there.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
I don't know what's I don't know what it is.
And maybe maybe he's holding in because he really wants
to get to the US, and he's like, I'm dealing
with the woman who loves me. I mean to the UK,
I'm dealing with the one who loves me. So like whatever, I.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
Saw how he was, Remember he thought it's Disneyland, and
then he had to defend the fact that, no, I
don't think any countries. Isn't that, bro? You want to
go there real bad. You try to finesse her the
entire season to get her to think that your country
is shit? Why what?

Speaker 2 (43:53):
So he's like, we're doing great for long distance and
she's like, no, we're not, boo, like, I'm sorry to
tell you. So during this Andy gets too overwhelmed because
he doesn't like arguments, so he had to get up
and leave, and like, of course, his wife goes with
him to make sure he's okay. And I was just like, Andy,
if you don't fucking buckle up and be an adult,
the fuck I.

Speaker 1 (44:11):
Thought it was a medical murder, then it would have
been like, okay, what's going on?

Speaker 2 (44:14):
Like yeahhe was just like, I don't like to hear
people yelling. It makes me a girl. I don't care.

Speaker 1 (44:19):
Get out of it, right.

Speaker 2 (44:20):
So then we talk about Yeah, then we talk about
Mette and Shannon's daling and the fact that Shannon speaks
spoke weird broken English to talk to him, and she's like,
I didn't even notice I was doing it, Like I
work in a Turkish restaurant, like I do all this.
I admire people who work in a restaurant as a
server and can just support afford life. Yeah, I'm like,

(44:42):
I don't know, yeah, but yeah you could.

Speaker 1 (44:45):
But did you have a roommate?

Speaker 2 (44:46):
You were just able to pay your own rent just
by working?

Speaker 1 (44:49):
Uh No? When I was a server in college, I
was still living at home.

Speaker 2 (44:52):
See that's what I'm talking about. I'm talking about people
who can be servers in any space and have their
own apartment, because that seems to be what Shannon's dealer.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
Oh interesting. I mean unless it's like the Plaza Hotel
or the Ritz where your tips are like over one
hundred plus or something every table or every instance, then
it doesn't seem it seems.

Speaker 2 (45:11):
Doable when you're like, yeah, it seems doable when you're
a white tablecloth server, but when you're just working and
Turking's restaurant girl, how much money I'll Megan. So anyways,
she says that that she'd just been used to doing
that and that sometimes he would be confused as to
what she was saying, and then he was like, oh no,
I very much understand English, so I don't understand what
you're what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (45:31):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (45:31):
But I think it's just because he probably didn't understand
and or speak as much and or hear as much
English as in the beginning of their relationship as he
did at the towards the end, because now that someone's
consistently talking to you, you're able to understand what's going
on better. But she's like, I didn't realize it was
that bad, and like, you know, uh, so I was like,
I'm glad they brought it up because that's exactly what

(45:53):
I needed. And then we move on to Finn. Right
when the episode is about to end, Finn dramatically pulls
Sandra out, and I said to myself to propose to her.
And I said to myself, Sandra, him pulling you out
dramatically before the shit is even done is the same

(46:15):
thing as him doing it in front of everybody, because
what he could have done is just waited for the
actual full breath of the thing to be done. And
then before you guys get into the cab going back
to the hotel, proposed to you. He stopped production. A
cameraman had to put a camera on his shoulder and
run after you to get outside. Then everybody, including Judy.

(46:36):
Judy's like, what's going on? What I was like, Judy,
you are not gonna win a bafter right now, so
I need you to just bring the energy level down
and stop yelling and wanting to know what's going with.

Speaker 1 (46:47):
The earpiece like her producers. What's Everybody just relaxed. Yeah,
but I'm with you. I thought it was forced, and
it was also just trying to draw attention to himself again,
like he's one of the I feel like he gives
the vibes of one of those men who thinks he's
the prized, Like do you need to do you want
to be courted? Like what's going on with you? Why
do you need all this attention? Just everybody just lay

(47:10):
down because there's just too much energy happening right now.
And it was it was rushed, and it was girl.
I thought, at the very least maybe he had worked
with producers to do some flowers out there. Yeah, he
just walked out and said it's such like you wanted. Look.
I was like, where is it? What do we hello? Hello?
Like what the.

Speaker 2 (47:30):
Yeah, I'm sad that the only wedding that we got
to see was Aara and Andy's. But it was such
a great wedding.

Speaker 1 (47:37):
Yeah, it was such a great wedding.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
Yeah, so I made it for all of that.

Speaker 1 (47:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (47:41):
They champagne at the end of it, and they kept
focusing on Zena drinking her champagne and I was like, girl,
if you if you all stop kind of make her
seem like she's.

Speaker 1 (47:48):
A lush right, I mean, she was like, let me
pop this, and then of course Fenn is like shaking
it and the producers being like, we're not going to
do that. This is a rented carpet. All of this
furniture we need to re turn.

Speaker 2 (48:01):
Yeah, I hate when people do that with champagne. It's
so weird to me. It's like, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (48:06):
On a boat. I feel like it goes with the vibe.
But don't get it on me.

Speaker 2 (48:10):
That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying, Like it's sticky,
don't throw sticky on me, don't throw soda on me,
don't throw anything juice, none of that.

Speaker 1 (48:22):
In the rain. Like, yeah, if.

Speaker 2 (48:25):
Somebody were to do that to me and I were
dating them or whatever, I'd be like, oh no, we're
broken up. The fact that you don't know that I
wouldn't like that is wild. You did that for yourself.

Speaker 1 (48:34):
It's very childish. Yeah, it's so stupid.

Speaker 2 (48:36):
All right, Any last words about the episode, Any last
words about the season.
