Marvin Nash came to Rice in May of 2023 as the Owls' new Director of Recruiting Operations/High School Relations.
Nash has spent the last 15 years coaching high school football in Texas, most recently at San Marcos HS where he served as the offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator. He was a part of a pair of Texas state champion teams at Denton Guyer (2012 & 2013) as well as three appearances in the state championship game and five state semifinals.
He graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas in 2003 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Psychology and Exercise & Sports Sciences) and was a two-time All-American Southwest Conference Selection and four-year letterman as a safety and linebacker for the Kangaroos.
Nash has three children, Reagan, Damon, and Trey.
