Speaker 3 (00:41):
Ten o'clock in downtown Vancouver. We're the Paul Carson Studio.

Ryan Henderson is our producer. He's the man of the
controls our director. The voice of God is Derek Long.
How are you oh? I couldn't be better? Canucks over

(01:01):
the Oilers four to three in overtime. By the way,
I should ask you first, how was your weekend? Before
we get into that.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Too much sports, said Donnie, Wait too much?

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Well, Saturday was crazy. I mean everyone Saturday with all
those games involving teams that too much in this market
cares so much about you know, the Canucks, the Lions,
and the World Series going on with the Blue Jays
and Dodgers and all those games, you know, bumping into
each other. That that was. That was a lot of fun.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Actually, I don't have a man cave like these young kids.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I got one to have one to I have one?
You have one? Yes, I was going back, and so
you have to be young to have a man cave.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
Old guys don't have man caves, just the young.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
But he only has one. He only has one screen though,
so it doesn't well, I don't make the money. How
can you have a man cave if you only have
one TV? Exactly? This guy's got five TVs. I've got
other elements in my man cave. You probably don't half
that's true. Ping Punk, table, broken driveall uh oh, those

(02:06):
days are over. Okay, back to the Canucks in overtime
four three? Who's this key for Sherwood guy? This is
this is what a story? Well, thirty years old. He
outplayed Connor McDavid last night. Yes he did, well, maybe
not Leandro Siddle. No, but he was just spectacular. Two goals,

(02:26):
including the OT winner. Ricky's got six goals on the season.
He's two goals off the NHL. I know it's early,
but nobody expected this. Two goals off the NHL lead
right now, six goals, has got an assist, but leading
the Cannucks with those six goals.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
And Donnie this one right here, this is it the
toy drag. I mean, my goodness, I mean, who does that?
How many scale guys do that? Scale guy's Donny?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Well, maybe he is a skilled guy. Maybe he's developed
into one.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
He can skate, he's got passion, he's got edge, he's
got hands, he can shoot.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Look at this, I mean, my goodness. Yeah, I just
want to say so something here. And I don't know
if if this is the case with we have to
ask We've recorded our interview with Jamie whenever we have
somebody on this show who knows more about hockey than us,
and apparently there are people out there that do I
have to ask him this? Remember when they were they

(03:18):
acquired Keith for Surewood and Quinn Hughes just loved it. Well,
did they ask him before they ask a bunch of players.
I would hope that they do that a lot, not
just the Canucks, but every team. Ask the players who
do they hate playing against? Because Quinn Hughes hated playing
against the playoffs twenty twenty four when Keith for Sherwood

(03:41):
was with Nashville and he was just so happy that
they acquired a key for Surewood and maybe Quinn Hughes.
I don't know if he will need the money, but
after the career is over, maybe getting a job as
a scout or a GM. But you would hope that
management types would talk to their players about acquiring someone.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
And Donnie they asked. Alvin asked all his top players, Hey,
I'm going after sure. What are you guys okay with it?
On July first, and they said, yeah, go get them,
including Quinn Hughes. So I thought Alvin did a good
job there.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Or even even like even like take it maybe a
step further in that what players do you hate playing against?
And this you know that are available that we should
go after. Yeah, But I always remember how happy Hughes
was about that, and he was banging on.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Oh he was, and you know he was a pain
in the ass to play against, but you want him
on your team. And that's what the Cannucks did. And
by the way, Donnie, he scored thirty six goals in
the American League. He had a big year in Miami.
He had a big year every one year, every three.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Or four years. Surewood pops off in every league. And
he's doing it right now in Miami of Ohio for
exactly that the university. Okay, let's hit the hottest and
we'll talk some more about what was going on last night,
and we'll hear from Keith for Sherwood. But good Derek,
Rock and roll Rogers Arena, Vancouver BC pick up late first,
Evander Kaine races to the loose puck, spins and fines

(05:05):
Broc Besser on the back end. He beats Calvin Pickard
and does so wearing Adrian Plapsis old number six one nothing,
early second Vancouver parplay. Canucks are going to work the
puck around Carlson, Garland, Heronic, Elias Patterson davonted one timer
his third two nothing Canucks. Later in that middle Stanza

(05:26):
Evan Boucher. Look at this pass long range dart to
Leon Dreich saddle low glove a Thatcher Dempko who despite
having the NHL's best mask, was then able to make
that save two to one. Canucks answer in the final
a minute of that second period. Keep for sure what
beats Mattias echoing like I rented me all his fifth

(05:46):
Connack's back at front by two three to one. That
was reminiscent or this is reminiscent of Palva Bury's debut
no early second period oiler's four check pucker stolen and
look who stamps at home? Jack Roslovich Remember Rick, the
Canucks were interested in him? Off He goes to Abtadas
first does.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
An oiler three to five minutes left, Oilers power play
cornor McDavid down low left side, works his way goldward,
tease it up for Leon Dreisiddle, the former colowna rocket
with his second of the game three to three, hard
on over time and in ot minute and a half
Canducks using three forwards, Connor Garland will leave for Brock
Besser hay shot tipped in by Keifer as insure what

(06:28):
the guy can do no wrong these days?

Speaker 3 (06:30):
His second sixth of the season. Knucks get by the
orders four to three. J. T. Miller and the Rangers
at Rogers Arena on Tuesday, and isn't it interesting? Rick,
And we'll get into this later on in the show.
That e Lias Petterson game is coming around. Yep. And
look who's coming into Vancouver on Tuesday. Oh boy, J T. Miller,

(06:54):
that's going to be interesting. Well, well, we'll deal with
that a little bit later. But uh, Keith for sure
would UFA at the end of the season, by the way,
and we'll get into that with our pole question. Yeah,
but here he is the one thing we haven't talked
about them playing without Quinn Hughes yesterday and they found
out about it two hours before the game. Lower body entry.

(07:15):
But here's a key for on his team, grabbing a
valuable two points without number forty three and your lucky
number program.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
Yeah, I mean, you can't actually replace him. He's the best,
you know. So we just got to, you know, pull
the rope together and and kind of you know, our
identity that we're continuing to build out each and every day.
And you know, it's a full sixteen minutes. Obviously we
took on some water there and the top guys are
gonna get some looks, but we just stick together. Denra
played a hell of a game again and Yeah, nice

(07:43):
to get two points.

Speaker 7 (07:44):
How about your line and in particular you and Drew
on the four check, seems like you gave them fits
at times.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
Yeah, that's something we talked about. We just want to
be relentless on the fore check and get pucks back
and from there, you know, yeh, talk to the coach
today and they just to just stick with it, you know,
just things will open up. And they were right, So
it was you just trust the process and you know,
stick to the blue collar mean tell you that we're
trying to build and that momentum energy is contiguous for
the next lines too.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
Playing on a line the third line with Drew O'Connor
and att Ratu not a top six forward, but look
what he's doing goal wise, it's amazing.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
And you got to be happy for the guy, Donny,
because you know what, he was not drafted. He went
through the American League up and down. You know, teams
gave up on him, agents gave up on him, and
here he is today in a hell of a position.
Today he's a UFA don and he's in line. Let's
be honest for a big raise.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
That leads to our pole question, our waddling dog pole
question experience one of Victoria's iconic destinations, sleep, sip, and
stock up, all in one legendary spot, Come, sit and
stay at the Waddling dog Today wreck Ryan.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
Got her up the Wattling dog pole. Question keep for sure?
What's said to be a UFA after the season. What
should the Canucks do with him? Extending a S A
P or trade while the value is high? No surprise here.
Seventy seven percent say extend him right now. Twenty three
percent say wait a little while, or trade them while
the value is high. Five hundred plus votes already, Donnie,

(09:13):
But I got a feeling he's going to cash in,
whether it's in Vancouver or somewhere else.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Donnie, until that's kind of obvious, isn't it. Yeah?

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Yeah, Well he could go stone cold dry too, don
You don't know that's true. He's got he's got to
he's got to keep doing what he's doing. Score it
this clip and he should have seven goals. They called
one of his goals back last night because the Myers.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Yeah yeah, it was a dislowed offside play. Okay, so
he's making one point five right now, obviously, I would
think his value has increased. Do you not think he
would like to be extended right now. I think he would.
His group would like to, his agent would like who
presents them.

Speaker 8 (09:53):
By the way, Judge Judd mulled over Muldover. Okay, Judg's
a good guy. Anyways, Judgley known as Judge and Judd, was.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Watching last night when he scored the beautiful goal and
the beautiful you know.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
I said, was going? I said, are you watching? He said,
I got the reply back yes. Anyways, contrauds. Do you
know how many Judds do you know? Who was?

Speaker 8 (10:15):
Was there a jut On Hill Jed? No, Judd, Jed
clamping Hollywood Hillbillies?

Speaker 6 (10:21):
No?

Speaker 8 (10:21):
What was the show called Beverly Hills? Beverly Hills? But
there was a jut On there, wasn't it?

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Jed? Oh? Jed? Okay there was. There was a big
song in the seventies called Daisy a Day done by
a gentleman called His name was Judd Strunk.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Yeah, jud Yeah, it's a great name.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Jud moving on.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Okay, So you asked me where are contract talks with
the Canucks? And sure with Donny they are quiet two
sides of touch base, but no series talks.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Uh. He changed agents in the.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
Summer dawn, the Canucks appear Judd to Judd, Judd got him. Uh,
it's a wait and she approached by the Canucks. But
this could burn that if they wait and see. The
price is only going to go up if he keeps scoring.
But right now, contract talks are quiet. That number starts
with a four for me done, I'm sorry, And the

(11:11):
more goals he scores, that number creeps up. So it's
up to the Canucks to obviously call it Judd and
get things going. But otherwise I can tell you it's
pretty damn quiet.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Yeah, of course they risk losing him, and I would
think if they if they don't extend him soon or
before the end of the season, there's gonna be And
he continues this, does he not owe to himself, as
much as he might love playing in Vancouver. He does
it to see what the market bears. And you mentioned
four million. I don't think that's out of the question.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
All he s to do is get to twenty goals
for me and lead the Canucks and hits, and that's
enough good value to do a pretty decent deal for me.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Yeah, look at his stat line. Two goals including the
ot winner last night, four hits five shots, one block,
so there's a whole lot there with the key for sure.
Good on him, you know, Donnie, I said again, undrafted.
I love undrafted guys.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Don you know someone gave up on him at some
point and that he never gave up on himself.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Good on him. Okay, we want to talk some more
about Elias Patterson. As I mentioned, his game is coming on,
but let's let's get some updates here. First of all,
Victor Mancini left that game second period. What do you know?
And hass off to the Caducks winning that game, playing
so much of it with just five defensemen.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
And Victor Mancini. Donnie, keep an eye on tom Lander today.
If they call up tom Lander, it'll tell you how
serious the Mancini injury is.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
So.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
And don't even get me going on what the Habspurg
blue line looks like right now. They're hoping and praying
Mancini's not out for a while. Quinn Hughes.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
You know what's the latest with him, Well, lower body injury,
lower body.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
I'd be surprised if he plays tomorrow. But you know
what it looks so.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
You know something, No, I don't know.

Speaker 8 (12:53):
I'm just telling you, I'd be surprised if if you
you know, it's day to day.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
They said, day to day.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
But here's the thing for you, Donny, this hockey club's
got seven injuries. This hockey club has played seven games
in eleven nights. This condensed Olympic schedule is killing them.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
But Rick, I haven'ton played the night before. Everybody's gone
to get it. And that's not an excuse.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Ask yourself, when is the last time the Vancouver Canucks
out of practice. It's just you. They're just not going
to get quality practice time because of this schedule.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
It is crazy. That's everybody, maybe more because of the travels.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
You can sit on a bus and go to games done.
These guys out in the West are getting hammered.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
It's it's always been that way, but every team. Take
a look at the Canucks schedule in January and and
the schedule in March, a huge Olympic break in February.
Talk about condensed, talk about compact. That's that's something else.
I tweeted this out last night as well. Hats off
to the coaching staff. You go down to to five

(13:54):
d that could be tough to Philip Perona was pushing
half an hour and boy, what a scary moment for him. Oh, Like,
he's had the shoulder issues in the past, and I
just assumed when he fell on the corner that that
was the case again. But he ends up playing and
playing a whole lot after that. But you know, Pats
off adjusting with the five defensemen, and also Adam Foot's

(14:17):
decision or whoever's decision it was to play the three
forwards in overtime with the tired d and it paid off.
They got the goal with the three forwards.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
On the ice in ot so smart, you're five D.
Look at the young kid Peterson on defense last night.
Done hey, twenty minutes and he had some hard minutes
against Connor McDavid. Good on the kid, and you know what,
they're all tired twenty twenty five, twenty six minutes and
he said, not gonna put three forwards out there?

Speaker 3 (14:40):
A great move. You know who looked really tired? I thought,
was so Lucas Richel stop it that guy? No, no,
I would say over there, Yeah, why no, because he
thinks Lucas Recles shouldn't have played it all on Saturday.
He got here nine thirty in the morning dawn. Was
he ninety years old.

Speaker 4 (14:59):
Ready he was the twenty four hours planes, trains and automobiles,
the flight cancelations, slept at the airport, gets your nine
thirty four four o'clock game.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
He's living in he's playing in the NHL.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
He doesn't know the systems or the coaches and the players,
so he could hurt you more than he could help you.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
He did he no boom. Maybe right there, we don't
have to talk about it. Later. Jamie mcclennan is going
to join us in the eleven o'clock hour. Also in
the eleven o'clock hour as always DTMZ And is it
just me big ride the Twitter guy coming up later

(15:37):
this hour. And you know, right now it is such
a good time for Vancouver sports. The Lions hosted the
playoff game. Look at the white camraill talk about them later.
Look at the white Caps are up to so impressive
against Dallas yesterday the Canucks. I don't think anybody saw
them five and five after ten. It's been such an
up and down start started to the season. So it's

(15:58):
been pretty good there. What about Seattle? Themerics say what
you want, Alcs they got there. The Kraken are playing
very very well right now in the Seahawks first place
now in the San Franciscos, so first place in the
NFC West. So with that in mind, Ian Ferinesse is

(16:20):
going to join us from Seattle from KGr Sports Radio
and the Krack and Hockey Network. Ian is next. Thanks
so much for tuning in, folks, Hope you had a
great weekend. Donnie, Donny the team on.

(17:43):
Our Bayside inbox famous juds through time, we mentioned Moldover
and Strunk. I don't know how I forgot this, but
Judd Nelson of the brat Pack. Let's not forget jud
Appatoe Breakfast Club, Hollywood, Hollywood Times.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
So you remember Breakfast probably great great movie Ronnie No,
Molly Ringwall. Yeah, it was a great movie. Not Ronnie,
but Molly Ringwald.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Her brother's name is not just Stop.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
It was a great flick. There was so many good
young stars in that movie.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
Yeah, yeah, Okay, let's bring in an ferness from KGr
Sports Radio and the Crack and Hockey Network. And thanks
for doing this, sir. Howard are you do you know
any judds?

Speaker 11 (18:27):
I you know what my brush with greatness? I spent
time with Judd Nelson one night WHOA two thousand and
one at the All Star Game here in Seattle.

Speaker 9 (18:39):
There was a reception. I was there. I was with
a guy that was a big deal with an NBA team.
He invited me up for the weekend.

Speaker 11 (18:46):
I was still in Salt Lake and we ended up
at a back table at a big at a reception.
This guy, little guy walks over and says, hey, man,
you guys can hang out with you. I'm just kind
of tired of signing autographs and doing stuff. I'm like, yeah,
we looked over them and go you look familiar, and
he goes, yeah, I'm Judd Nelson.

Speaker 9 (19:01):
I'm like, oh, okay, cool, we just hung out. Yeah, good guy.

Speaker 11 (19:03):
I mean, I'll tell you this, little guy, but boy,
we had a session that night, I mean the Crown
Royal Rick.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
It was oh, okay, there going nice.

Speaker 9 (19:13):
Yeah, good guy.

Speaker 11 (19:14):
Though I would I would put in the classific classifications
good guy, good guy, Judd Nelson, little guy, but good guy.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
Good guy. I have no I have no idea how
to segue into the rest of the conversation. Yeah, the Mariners.
What's the final word on their on their season success
or disappointment? Yeah?

Speaker 11 (19:33):
Yeah, I mean just I think both, I think Donnie Both.
I mean, you know there's one team that's happy at
the end, right it's whoever wins this series with the
Dodgers and the Blue Jays. But you know, you got
to be happy with I mean, the run was fun,
it was tremendous. They got the city fired up and
excited and all those things were great. I mean the
disappointments there for sure. Obviously, the disappointments there because of

(19:55):
you know, you have a a two nothing series lead,
you have a three to one lead in the last game,
and it's in game seven and you can't close out,
and that's disappointing. But I think if you take a
step back and look at the bigger picture, it was
a heck of season.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
Yeah, good times for Seattle sports, much like Vancouver right now,
cracking playing well in the Seahawks five or two on
a buy and forty nine ers get upset by Houston.
So the Seahawks are officially a first place a football club.
How impressed are you with their defense? Aan?

Speaker 11 (20:26):
Oh, I mean it's I'm really it's impressive. It's also
it shouldn't be surprising, Donnie, because they hired a defensive
you know, wizard so to speak, and Mike McDonald. But
you know, it took a year. I mean, it's and
they said it would take a while for him to
really got his his defense installed and what he wants
to do.

Speaker 9 (20:42):
It's really there's a lot of communication.

Speaker 11 (20:44):
Every guy we've talked to, every player I talk to
you every week that's on the defensive side, they say
the same thing. It's just there's a lot of communication
that's involved, kind of like an offense. You know, they
do a lot of checks and at the line and
check with me and you know, we'll move things around,
and so it's it's not as simplistic as maybe some
defenses are maybe a little more complicated. So it takes

(21:05):
a while. But they've got dudes up front that have
played well. You know, it's funny they don't have the
aircraft carrier rush and you know, like they don't have
that defensive end like Will Anderson yesterday for the Texans
against forty nine ers, for example, or a Bosa, like
they don't have that guy. They don't have that apps.
But they're really good all the way around. They should
get healthier this week for Sunday Night football against Washington

(21:27):
with we assume that Julian Love and Devin Witherspoon will
be back, and it's just Mike McDonald's done a great
job so far.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
All right, let's talk about your hockey club. Let's get going.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
This the great start, best starting franchise history, best starting
franchise history, five two and two. Everything's going good. What
do you like about this start? Ian, what's impressing you
the most?

Speaker 9 (21:50):
Well, I'd say Cleayton Lambert and the coaching staff. I
think there's a buy in.

Speaker 11 (21:55):
The guys talked about it ever, really talked about it
last night or two nights to go after the game.
There's a there's a buy into what they're doing. You know,
coaching makes a difference, guys. I mean you know that
as well as anybody. Coaching makes it. I think the
two sports we just talked about, Mike McDonald like, the
two sports that coaching makes the biggest difference are hockey
and football, period, end of story.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (22:14):
And you can't win with subpart coaching.

Speaker 11 (22:16):
You just can't. And you know, I think this. I
think Lane does knows what he's doing.

Speaker 9 (22:21):
He's you know, the.

Speaker 11 (22:22):
Defensive systems and structures maybe at times lead to not
the most exciting brand of hockey, sure, but but I
say that, And there were times on Saturday against Edmonton
that you know, people watch that game, I'm sure on
Hockey Night in Canada. They were up and down the ice,
and you know they they have a great ability, I think,
to create some odd man rushes out of what they
do structurally defensively, and they've done that. They buried a

(22:45):
couple of those chances on Saturday, and you know Joey's
They're gonna go. As far as Joey's playing well, like
I mean, you know, good Joey. They can beat anybody
on any given night just because of how they play
bad Joey, and it's it's tough. I mean, he was
great against Edmonton, I mean phenomenal against Edmonton. If he's not,
if they have average goal attending that night, they probably

(23:07):
don't win that hockey game. So but you know, we
expect that. I mean, Joey's playing like a number one.
He kind of is like the most underrated number one
in the league. I think it's funny how he flies
under the radar even with USA Hockey. He's like the
number I think number three and a half four guy
right now for the Olympics. So it's strange to me
because I think he's playing at a level that's higher

(23:27):
than a lot of guys in the league. I think
he's I think he's better swiming myself, but I you know,
he's playing great. Lane's got to go on. Chris Taylor
running the power play does a really good job with that.
You know, we see a big difference just in terms
of puck movement. Penaly Kill needs to get a little better,
there's no doubt about that. But but no, overall, you
know what they're they're playing well and they're just they're
playing like the team that went to the playoffs three

(23:47):
years ago. We just talked about Seahawks had that aircraft carrier,
right like, they don't have that hammer defensive end. Seattle
doesn't have that hammer offensive guy. But they run four
lines deep and their fourth line has played great the
last few games. And you can roll four lines out there.
That's a pretty pretty good thing in the NHL.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
Well, we saw it with Braiden Coots. How young players,
it's tough in the NHL. You got a young player there,
Berkeley Caton, high pick in the Western Hockey League, high
pick in the NHL. Four games to assists. What are
you see in there? You think he can stick how
much longer?

Speaker 3 (24:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (24:20):
I think he's going to stick around. There's no reason
to send him back. You know, Braiden's younger. You know,
Braiden was a drafted the player this year, right, and
I like Coots good player, but like he's he's here
younger and in the sense like Berkeley's nineteen.

Speaker 9 (24:32):
What's he going to do back in the in the
Western League.

Speaker 11 (24:34):
Yeah, here's the thing he does the eye test. He
doesn't look out of place in the NHL.

Speaker 9 (24:39):
He just doesn't.

Speaker 11 (24:40):
And he had been playing on a line with McCann
out with every and Beneeers. I think he makes Maddy better.
I think Maddy's playing some of his best hockey he's
ever played, you know, and especially two hundred feet Matt.
Matty's still good at his own end. Berkeley, Berkeley sees
the ice so well. He's got a great sense. I

(25:00):
know that's an overused term, but he does. You watch
him play. He needs to score a goal that would
be good just to kind of get that off off
the zero out of there. But he had an assistant
in the first goal against Edmonton and a great play
along the wall and the defensive zone. Just a great
play and he was able to find Maddie in two
on one. Thanks for coming. So you know, you watch
the kid play. You know, he's he can play at
this level. They put him on a line. Blambert juggled

(25:23):
the lines of the third period against Edmonton, which is
a he does that every now and then, but this
is like he really juggled him a little bit, kind
of shortened the bench a little bit, but he had
him out there with Shane Wright and Ryan Winterton Winters.
He's got great speed. I like that line, to be
honest with you young guys out there. They're gonna be
here for a while. But yeah, Berkeley, there's no reason
to send him back to the deb And they can
manage it.

Speaker 9 (25:43):
You guys know how works. They'll manage it.

Speaker 11 (25:44):
When mccamn comes back, Coppole Kockle comes back, he'll be
in and out of the lineup, and then all of
a sudden we'll be in December World Juniors. He's gone
for three or four weeks and the way you go, So,
I think they'll manage it that way this year.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
And by the way, you mentioned Joey earlier, you were
talking about Joey Decord. I don't think you mentioned that
his last name. Were you that close to all our Yeah,
what's going on there?

Speaker 11 (26:04):
I don't know we did. Well, if you're that close.
His real name is Joel So, but we call him Joey.
I I hear that. I hear the chance of Joey
Joey in the in the rink right now as we speak.

Speaker 9 (26:14):
But no, we're not that. I'm not I'm not that guy.
Don't worry about that. I'm never going to be that guy.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
I think his first name is actually Judd Jude. I
may want to look into that.

Speaker 9 (26:24):
Yeah, I see more.

Speaker 11 (26:25):
I listen, man, I don't have time for more research.
I got enough going on.

Speaker 9 (26:29):
We got a game, hey big, Hey, hey, big big.
Thanks by the way to.

Speaker 11 (26:33):
Our friends with sports that or hockey Night in Canada yesterday,
since uh we are Saturday. We had our truck, we
got a power we have a massive issues down here,
and we ended up taking the third period feed from
uh from our friends north of the border, right, so
we appreciate you guys. And then didn't even have to
do a postgame show. I just got to go home
and I watched after hours later.

Speaker 9 (26:52):
It was a good night for Ian. You know it
made the same doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
Well, it's funny because I noticed that on Twitter. I
didn't know what was going on. But they said that
the Cracker broadcast has never been better. So now it
now it makes sense.

Speaker 11 (27:04):
They said it was. They said it was the best
post game show I've ever done. Yeah, it's unbelievable. I
looked a lot like Ron McClain and uh and so forth. Yeah, Festeral,
it looked like Kevin Bix. That's what was weird, as
people couldn't tell the difference.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
Yeah, that was a.

Speaker 9 (27:17):
Good, big thing, you know, big thanks to them.

Speaker 11 (27:19):
It was awesome because I mean, just our lucky all
the all the bummers we've done like last year and stuff,
through the struggles. We have a great game against game
and we don't have a chance to talk about it
because of the way we we had the blustery weather
and a power surgeon. Next thing, you know, our trucks ride,
so good times for the Crack and Hockey Network.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
Yeah, the weather similar up here as you as you
might expect. And thanks for this. We'll talk to you
next week.

Speaker 9 (27:44):
See you Judd.

Speaker 3 (27:48):

Speaker 4 (29:04):

should the Canucks do with them? Extend a a SAP

(29:28):
know what his agent is, Judd Muldaber Big.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
We've been inundated in the bayside inbox with Jugs. We mentioned, uh,
Judd Nelson, Judd Apatow. We've been reminded of Judd hirsh
of Taxi Taxi get the Canucks super scout.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
Back jud Brackett, who's now in Minnesota. I couldn't get
along with Jim at the end there, Benny, Yeah, and
he bolted out of town.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
Jud Brackett. Don't hesitate to textas folks if you have Yeah,
we for Ashley Judge. Oh yeah, yeah, the Judge actor,
the Judt family. There you go. So there's that, all right? Okay.
The Canucks had played the night before and lost to Montreal,
gave up the lead and lost to Montreal, and then
they come up they had a lot of energy yesterday.

(30:16):
I thought that that hit me right off the bat,
how much energy they had, and they were missing their captain,
their best player number forty three, Quinn Hughes. Plus they
lose Mansini. So that's seven regulars, well at least six
regulars out with injury right now. This is Adam Foot
post game on his teams. I would say, newfound ability

(30:40):
to overcome adversity.

Speaker 7 (30:41):
Our belief is so much different now where we'd go
rogue maybe in the past, get off our belief of
how we're going to play. And when they tied it up,
we kept going. We kept being relentless and believing in
the system. And it was all four lines and all

(31:04):
our d and dem and that's what I love about
the game.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
We're playing against good hockey team.

Speaker 7 (31:09):
They lost last night. They came in with the heat again.
They were going and we didn't give him a lot
five on five and we had a mistake, but so
did they.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
That's hockey.

Speaker 7 (31:19):
So there was a lot of good things tonight.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
I couldn't agree with them more.

Speaker 8 (31:24):
Was that a bit of a shot at Rick Tockett
In the past they would go In the past, they
would they would go rogue.

Speaker 4 (31:30):
It's not a shot at Talky because he was a
part of the coaching staff too.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
That's a good point. Yeah, that's a good point. But
Rick himself too, Yeah, yeah, Rick Talckett has other issues
these days.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
Rick TKI's team is above five hundred dog, they're doing
just quite fine things.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
I'm talking about a certain picture of him on Twitter.
So there's that. We mentioned. We were going to talk
about Elias Petterson. We have an open segment in the
eleven o'clock hour. We'll do that then. I thought he
was terrific on the weekend, so we'll talk about him then.
And Adam Foote has some things to say about EP

(32:04):
forty and I know you've taken your shots at him.
Stop it all positivity on the weekend. He was like,
I say, absolutely terrific. We'll blend that around eleven fifteen
or so. But let's talk about what else is going
on sports wise in Vancouver white Caps. Boy, that was
convincing a three nil over FC Dallas. So up won

(32:25):
nothing in that best of three game two Saturday in Texas.
So the white Caps with a chance to wrap it
up wrap it up in game two obviously twenty two
to one attempted shots on target ten nil for the
white Caps and here's Thomas Mueller popping in the second goal.

(32:46):
Six penalty kick attempts for him, he's scored on all
of them since he had joined the white Caps. Again,
very very impressive. Emmanuel Sabby was excellent as well. He
made the run to set up that penalty kick goal
by Mueller. You know, a coast to coast and and
uh Meil ends up finishing things off. But there were
a lot of great play, great plays, a lot of

(33:09):
great efforts by the white Caps yesterday. This third goal
is my favorite. The effort, the effort, the effort on
that there was. They want two battles there. It was
really really impressive. That was. And look at Dallas. They
had a tough time with Dallas the week before, going
down to ten man. Red card didn't bother them for
one second and they and they were just absolutely dominant.

(33:33):
They could have been four or.

Speaker 4 (33:34):
Five nothing downey sixty two percent possession. This team is
fun to watch. They score goals by the bundles, you
know soccer. Oh it's zero zero, it's one nothing.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
Those days are gone.

Speaker 4 (33:43):
Yeah, those days are good. These guys can score, they
can keep the buck or ball out of their net.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
Done.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
These guys unbelieved the puck and it was a dominating
effort and the crowd thirty two thousand, don thirty two
thousand showed up Lower Bull sold out, Upper Bowl had
a four or five thousand up there. It was really
nice to see.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
Okay, Now, speaking of BC Place and playoff games, playoff matches,
BC Lions, it's official they're going to host a playoff
game as they finished second in the West knocking off
Sasketch won twenty seven twenty one over the weekend on
Saturday in Regiona. They had to persevere in order order
to do that. Lions two thirty kickoff rick at BC

(34:28):
Place on Saturday as they take on the Calgary Stampeters.
They've had the Stampeters a number. They're two and er
against them so far this season.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
They scored over ninety points against the stam Peters this
season in two games.

Speaker 3 (34:38):
He's nothing going into the playoffs, I know. But remember
when the Lions won the Great Cup with drumming and
two thousand. That two thousand team is going into the
BC Sports Hall is now into the BC Sports Hall
of Fame. As of last week.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
That team went on a heater at the end of
the year in the CFL. You can want a heater
win the Great Cup. They've won six straight, eight and
two in their past ten. Hottest team in the league
BC Lions. They got to keep a goaling though. Playoffs
are a whole new ball of ax. Donnie's not easy.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
Okay, So Nathan Rourke absolutely fabulous. We talked about Elias
Petterson being terrific. Same thing. I mean, he gets all
sorts of positive adjectives. Look at this play here the
shovel pass, and I thought, watching this play, what the
heck's he doing? Looked like he could run it in.
But Keon Hatcher manages to catch the ball and at
first there was some thought that he didn't make the catch,

(35:29):
but upon further review, he did, rolled over makes the catch.
But what went through your mind when you watch this
play other than maybe he should have ran it in? Yeah,
but I don't know went through your mind. But that's
what I lead athletes do. They adapt.

Speaker 4 (35:45):
In last second, he saw Hatcher and he says, you
know what I'm gonna I'm just gonna shove it in
like that. But he could have ran to He's such
a great runner. He led to all quarterbacks in the CFL.
This year Donnie in rushing yards.

Speaker 3 (35:56):
A couple of things went through my mind other than
thought he could have made it a lot easier than
himself by running it in and we all know how
how well he runs the ball, uh, you know, top
rushing quarterback in the CFL, I think eighth overall in
the Canadian Football League. But I just thought, hey, this
that looked like Patrick Mahomes and or Doug Flutie. And

(36:16):
we all know how special those two quarterbacks. Patrick Mahomes
one of the great quarterbacks and NFL history and things
just you know, his career still going on with the
who looked at the Kansas City Chiefs are looking pretty
good right now. But Doug Flute is the greatest player
in CFL history, there's no question. And Nathan Rourike is
he as spectacular? I'm not so sure about that, but

(36:39):
he's got some Flutie in him. It's it's it that
just watched that play. It's just so creative thinking outside
the box. He had he had me fold. I thought
he should have run, he should have run, and he
ends up, you know, getting a touchdown passed to his
favorite receiver and key On Hatcher, and it just reminded
me of those two great quarterbacks, he's something special. So

(37:00):
thirty and I believe they had a rush of ticket
sales right after they won.

Speaker 4 (37:03):
Yeah, they did and won that game, Johnny, two thirty
is not a is not a football time? Like, why
is it two thirty? So I asked us that guy,
like done, it's supposed to be. Can I tell the
story before you guys jump all over me. It was
supposed to be three thirty, but they pushed it back
an hour for.

Speaker 3 (37:20):
The world because of the World Series. So you're saying
three thirty is a football time, but three thirty is
better in two thirty.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
I can't get ready for a two thirty football game.
Two thirty I've never seen it.

Speaker 8 (37:30):
Do you say you say that about four o'clock? I
don't like four o'clock either. Listen, just a stupid time better, Donny.
It's a dumb time for a football game. But it
was supposed to be three thirty. They pushed it an
hour back because of the World Series.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
What does it matter? You leave all the games? Stop it? Hey,
if you you're there last night, you would have missed
the overtime. No, what overtime? For sure? No, I don't
leave overtime games. I leave football games if they're out
of great advice for I don't overtime games. You don't
do that.

Speaker 4 (38:01):
Done, he Come on, they moved the game time because
the World Series. That's what Baker told me last night.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
I texted her. But that'd be game seven. That's right.
We think it's gonna be a game seven.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
The feeling is if there is no Game seven that
they'll push it back to three thirty.

Speaker 3 (38:15):
So to be determined. So it hasn't been changed. It
has been changed. If there's no Game seven, they'll move
it back to three changed. They never said it was
three theory. I'm telling you it's two thirty. I asked Baker.

Speaker 4 (38:27):
I go why because it's a dumb time for a
football game, And he said they pushed.

Speaker 8 (38:30):
About three thirty any better because three thirty is a
whole lot better because they play it four sometimes in
the summer.

Speaker 3 (38:37):
Done.

Speaker 8 (38:37):
Come on, Okay, do you now believe me? Yeah, that's
why they pushed it back. It has been changed, but
I don't think they're gonna thank you. They're not gonna
change it again.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
Though.

Speaker 8 (38:47):
They won't change it if the Blue Jays aren't playing
in the World Series. In game seven, the one they
can go back to three thirty if they win.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
It's done. Now, this is your worst take, and that's
saying something.

Speaker 4 (38:58):
So you say, when's the last time you went to
football game at two thirty on a Saturday?

Speaker 3 (39:01):
Done? Okay, what time the NFL game started? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (39:05):
Exactly, none of them started. It's on a'clog. It's either
ten am or one or no here, no.

Speaker 3 (39:11):
Anyways, this this is honestly mark this down. Why the
heck are they starting at two thirty dark time? It's
a dumb time, donny, and as we know, two thirty
a dentist's favorite time. Okay, yeah, dentists, you're so quiet today? Yeah?
Why you're so quiet? I'm not I'm just letting you

(39:32):
guys do your thing. I'm not just working over here.
It's one of the worst jokes in the history of mankind. Really. Uh. Business.

unsigned in the baside Sure Front Resort inbox, Judd Nelson
was in front of me in a Squamish Taco Bell

Speaker 4 (42:09):
A lot of Judge Judd likes the Pacific Northwest. He
gets around Seattle. Maybe he was in Whistler on his
way or something.

Speaker 3 (42:17):
It's a good possibility. Those restaurants in Squamish, like the
McDonald's Foster Pacha, they're very busy. Oh yeah, Taco Bell.
People stop on the way back. I just figured that out.

Speaker 8 (42:31):
Okay, look, I'm gonna get ahead of this because I
know the texts are gonna be flooding into the baside
of front resort inbox about me being negative and hando
blah blah blah. So you can send them in now.
You don't even have to hear what I'm about to say,
but we can send them in now.

Speaker 3 (42:43):
That's the end of the segment. Yeah, but the Canocks
made a faux pall on the weekend. That bugs me.

Speaker 8 (42:47):
Okay, this is the Lions. Tweet was sent out yester
weekend from the weekend sent out. Playoff vibes are in
the air at BC Place. Good luck to the white
Caps and the MLS Cup playoffs. Post a photo the
Brian White nice graphic. Good luck to the Lions. Other
various sporting franchises in this market wish the white Caps

(43:09):
good luck in their playoffs.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
The Rise did as well. Yeah, other teams, other teams
that Vancouver bandits other teams. Let's be honest.

Speaker 8 (43:16):
So there's three main teams in this market, and there's
one big dog in this market. The big dog in
this market, even though they employ nine hundred social media people,
couldn't put up anything on their account yesterday about the
white Caps.

Speaker 3 (43:29):
I'm talking about the Canucks. Of course, did they put
nothing about the Seiens?

Speaker 8 (43:32):
Nope, well no, because I mean the Lions. All they
did was like they haven't played a playoff. They clinched,
They clinched like we'll see next weekend, going before their
playoff game.

Speaker 3 (43:40):
We'll see. But you could say good luck going into Saskatchewan.

Speaker 8 (43:44):
Yeah, but that was but it was right. I mean,
this is the start of the playoffs. So the Lions
posted up. So I'm like, if you want to call
me negative and grasping it whatever, that's fine.

Speaker 3 (43:55):
If you want to say a chapter to this story.

Speaker 8 (43:57):
And that is so this okay, this was this was
Friday on the Canucks Twitter account.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
Let's go Blue Jays, bring it home. Ookay.

Speaker 8 (44:09):
They put together a nice little graphic with all the
Blue Jays players, world series logo, all of that. And
I was the only one that noticed this. This is
Craig Forrest retweeted it. Hey Cannocks and if you don't
know Craig force long soccer background, of course, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (44:26):
Great goalie.

Speaker 8 (44:27):
Hey Cannock's not a word about the white Caps. You're
both part of the Vancouver sporting landscape. Get your head
out of your ass. That's from Craig Forest and Craig
by the Way also took note of the Lions posting
them and saying, look, it's not so hard. Another team
can do this. This bugs me because again the strawitz
is the sporting drink in this market.

Speaker 3 (44:45):
Your saving lunch of the Blue Jays.

Speaker 8 (44:47):
These are petty little things, no, he said, the Canucks
have for fourteen years, They've given this howk this beautiful
hockey crazy city, two good teams in fourteen years.

Speaker 3 (44:58):
The rest of them all crap. And you're worried about social.

Speaker 8 (45:00):
Media posting because again the straw that stirs the drink
in this market when it comes to sports. At the
Vancouver Canucks, they have a community obligation and you should
be linked to. And by the way, we ran the
clip last week of white cat the white Caps at
the Canucks game.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
You learned all them on the ice, so they were
just at the game.

Speaker 8 (45:19):
You should take it upon yourselves to post something like
the Lions did about the other team in this market
starting a playoffs.

Speaker 3 (45:27):
It goes on all over the place. Here's yeah, that's
here's why you should do it. First of all, it's
the right thing to do, right, So there's that. The
other thing is and the lunkheads over there on Griffith's Way.
It's good for business, it yes, good, it's it's it's
a good feel within the community for you to do that.
You're the big dog. Help about the White Cats, just

(45:49):
at just a little nod. You know. The problem is
you got the guys up top. They're all from back East,
a lot of them, not Equallini, but some other people
just below him. They're all from back east. They don't
they care more about the Blue Jays, about the White
Caps of the Lions.

Speaker 8 (46:07):
Oh and that was proof, the fact you spent more
than thirty seconds on this.

Speaker 3 (46:12):
I I've got by. I would like.

Speaker 4 (46:15):
For them to spend their time building a winning Stanley
Cup contender. How's that this guy could see a Stanley
Cup chap and too? So you know what, Donny, I
don't care who the hell they're posting about. Go win,
Go to build a hockey team that the city can
be proud of.

Speaker 3 (46:33):
That's fine.

Speaker 8 (46:34):
And again, look, I haven't even looked at the inbox,
and they know there's gonna be a lot of people
backing you up and saying that I'm.

Speaker 3 (46:38):
Grasping, stressed, that's fine.

Speaker 8 (46:40):
I just think it's weak and lame that you can
take the time to post about the Blue Jays on
the other side of the damn country, and yet you
have a team in this market, which, let's be honest,
let's be honest. Of the three teams, the team with
the greatest chance of the championship right now is the
bank for white Caps.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
Let's be honest. At the minute. You know, at the minute,
if you had to bet on one of them, you.

Speaker 8 (47:04):
Would have to go with the white Caps right now.
So it's not even like it's some cinder of the story.
But as Donnie says, that's besides.

Speaker 3 (47:10):
The point anyway.

Speaker 8 (47:11):
I don't know, man, you could take two seconds to
post something about them going to the playoffs. It's a
good business against being a good community partner, which this
team doesn't know how to do.

Speaker 3 (47:22):
What? What? But who are the Canucks associated with business wise?
Maybe more than anybody else Sports Rogers, who owns the
Blue Jays.

Speaker 4 (47:32):
There you go, Rogers's coach for the rest.

Speaker 3 (47:38):
No, I'm not saying it's right, blinders on when it
comes to the rest of the community, Like, what are
you doing?

Speaker 12 (47:43):
You?

Speaker 3 (47:44):
It's bad for business exactly, I.

Speaker 4 (47:46):
Think I spent zero seconds worrying about this this week.

Speaker 8 (47:50):
That's fine because I was busy watching sports. But but
as you might couch. But as Donnie points out, though
other markets do it. When the when the Mariners went
to the playoffs, the back in and the Seahawks and
everyone got on board with the Mariners being in the playoffs,
and it goes around in circle. That's that's a good
community vibe to have your teams aligned. This market doesn't
have it. There's one team at the top that knows

(48:11):
that at the top, and they don't feel like they
need to help anybody else up.

Speaker 3 (48:14):
Okay, another thing, it's easy. They don't have to go
out of their way. Now, what are you on our side? Now?
I don't know. It takes two seconds. I agree with you,
but I still not. But you think it's nothing. You
don't think we should say nothing. Burger said nothing. Burger,
you don't think we should talk about it. I didn't know.
And you've spent the last half hour researching judgs through time.

(48:36):
I died googled the most famous judge. UH.

Speaker 4 (48:39):
Their CEO the Canucks is Michael Doyle is a former
MLSC executive, so that would explain the Blue Jays.

Speaker 3 (48:47):
There you go. That's from Connor and Abbey.

Speaker 8 (48:49):
Yeah, so you know what, if TFC was in the playoffs,
they might have got to shut it over the white Caps.

Speaker 3 (48:55):
Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised. Uh.

Speaker 8 (48:57):
Anyway, Look like I said to me, it's weak. A
lot of we're gonna say nothing, Burger, that's fine. I
want to mention one of the things quickly. Okay, we
don't talk a lot of college football on the show.
One second before you run the clip, but there's a
viral clip that went going over the.

Speaker 3 (49:10):
Weekend that I have to show. This is San Diego
State as heads coach Sean Lewis. Look at he's got
the hat on this looking good. Look at this dude's
tan line.

Speaker 8 (49:19):
I apologize for the podcast viewers listeners because it's awful.

Speaker 3 (49:23):
Look at this guy's handline.

Speaker 8 (49:25):
I have never seen a tan line where the hat,
like the entirety of the hat.

Speaker 3 (49:32):
Is tanned onto his head. You know, I've seen the
brill the hole, yes, but the stripes on top of
the head, yes, the crown mesh hat I guess. Yeah. Well,
because the start of that clip, you see him and
he's in he's in like a truck of hat. That
is awesome.

Speaker 8 (49:49):
That is that's an all time tan line. That again,
I got a lot of play over the weekend. The
San Diego State Aztec's head coach.

Speaker 3 (49:58):
Somebody's gonna come up with a skull cap with's that all? Oh?

Speaker 8 (50:02):
Well, you know, you know his players, his players are
having a ton of fun with this Clinton now that
it's called viral because that's it looks like that, yes
like fake, Yes, yeah, it looks like it's painted on,
but impressive stuff.

Speaker 3 (50:15):
You've got a lot of play over the weekend. So
one that's awesome. Much like the Canucks not tweeting with
the white Caps. Uh?

Speaker 8 (50:20):
Coming up next from TSN, Jamie McLennon, are good, pal,
She's gonna talk about the Canucks EP forty much more.

Speaker 3 (50:27):

of the Canucks defeating the Oilers last night, but we
bring in Jamie mcclin from TSN Noodles. Thanks for doing this, sir,

(51:23):
How are you not too bad?

Speaker 1 (51:25):
How are you doing today?

Speaker 3 (51:26):
Your your hometown orders. By the way, Hey Jamie, the
Canucks defeat the Order's four to three in overtime. Keifer
Shrewood is the talk of Vancouver right now, thirty years old.
Six goals, just too off the league. I know it's early,
but just too off the league lead. Did you see
this coming with him at all?

Speaker 12 (51:46):
Not the goal production, but he's you know, he tries
to put everybody through the board. So he's a physical guy.
I love the way he plays. He's an energy guy.
He's a great skater and he should have had a
hat trick last night at Tyler Myers are outside.

Speaker 1 (52:01):
But you know, I think it's a great story.

Speaker 12 (52:05):
And you know, in amongst where there hasn't been some
great stories recently, Patterson has woken up and that's great.
You guys know what I think of Demco, So you
are getting you know, if Quinn Hughes isn't out for
an extended length of time, a guy like keep for sure,
Surewood is doing a good job of keeping everything on
the positive side in a straight and arrow. And he

(52:27):
is one of the guys who, honestly I've watched I
believe every game this season he's been their most consistent player.
You see, you notice him every night, which is impressive.
And you know, like you say, thirty years old, you know,
I think they've I would say they found him.

Speaker 1 (52:44):
But he's a He's a hell of a player, and.

Speaker 12 (52:46):
I think sometimes it takes a little bit for guys
to settle in and figure out what they can be
at the NHL level. Well, we're seeing another level of
his which I think surprised people.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
I'm sure he's.

Speaker 12 (52:57):
Always been skilled, but at the NHL level he just
kind of had to grind. But now he's added in
a skill component and we saw it last night. You know,
you split the D and and blocker side. That's a
hell of a play. I mean, it was a fantastic
play and he took him. He took advantage of really
a porous effort from the Edmonton Oilers, and I thought
the Canucks did a really good job.

Speaker 3 (53:19):
You said something there, Eleis Peterson. He's a wake a
four point weekend. He's moving quicker. What are you seeing confidence?

Speaker 12 (53:29):
You know, that one timer that he scored last night.
I don't know if that clicked off of a stick
or not, but that's the type of velocity I expect
coming off of his stick. He's always had a great shot,
and I would say probably in the last eighteen months,
that one timer, he flubs it, he misses the net,
something happens, it gets blocked.

Speaker 1 (53:49):
You know, he looks more confident, and he looks.

Speaker 12 (53:52):
Quicker, and I think a lot of that is just
feeling your game. You're you're you're all of a sudden
you're able to like just relax and play and let
your talent take take over. That's what I've seen in
the last weekend for him, is the talent has pushed
through and now that you know, the monkey's off his back,
or however you want to phrase it. He looks more

(54:14):
like the Peterson that we've thought or wanted to see
in the last two years.

Speaker 1 (54:20):
The other thing is he's got a great hockey mind.
He's a really smart player.

Speaker 12 (54:24):
So he's got to use his brain to his advantage
out there because he can outthink his opponents. So you
add in the confidence of handling the puck, the big
shot and maybe finding his range and then using his brain.
I mean, that's what's made him special. That's what made
him an eleven point what is at six eleven point
five million dollar player?

Speaker 4 (54:45):
Hey, jam I want to get your thoughts on this.
The Canucks acquired Lucas Richel on Friday. He ended up
with the flight cancelation, slept of the airport. Gets to
Vancouver Saturday in nine thirty in the morning.

Speaker 3 (54:57):
And they played him at four.

Speaker 8 (54:59):
Oh my gosh, did you would you play them if
you were the coach or like the What are your
thoughts on that? I?

Speaker 12 (55:05):
You know what, Here's why I say yes, okay, because
everything's adrenaline at that point. So I'll give you a
quick backstory my first ever NHL start. L Arbor skates
up to me the next the day before the game
and taps me on the pads and says, you're playing tomorrow.
I think I blocked out. I don't remember that night.
I didn't sleep a wink. I'm not lying, not one second.

(55:28):
I just stared at the ceiling and my mind was
racing a million miles an hour. At morning skate, I
was exhausted because I hadn't slept and I'd lived that
game a million times in my head. I went that afternoon,
had a bite to eat, and slept for like four
hours at the hotel and walked across the street. I
was staying at the Long Island Marriott, walked across the

(55:50):
street and played that night. I it was I'd been
preparing for that game my whole life, so it didn't
matter what amount of sleep when I had for pregame.

Speaker 1 (55:59):
Nothing.

Speaker 12 (56:00):
Now Ryko's play in the NHL, he's you know, we'll
call him a vet now, but it's it's you. The
adrenaline would take over in the first couple of games,
your new environment, everything's new for you. It's it's a whirlwind.
So game two or three you're gonna see him crash
a little bit, or maybe off the ice. This guy

(56:20):
might sleep for twenty four hours straight. But I think
that's the only reason why is you just want to
hit the ground running. Hey, I'm a new environment, Like,
let's have at it here, because my life is chaos.
The only thing that is semblance of normalcy is being
on the ice because he knows how to play hockey.
Because his life is turned upside down. Off the ice,
you's got to worry about where he's gonna live. I

(56:41):
don't know if he's a white or kids or whatever.
But on the ice, you just worry about playing hockey.
So that's the only reason why I would say play,
because all of the other stuff would be chaotic.

Speaker 4 (56:50):
All right, all right, hey listen, fans in Arizona must
be going, Hey, where was this team the you know
what utahm mabmot number one in the West.

Speaker 3 (56:59):
Eighton two great young, speedy, fast skill roster. Boy. They're
off to a great start.

Speaker 1 (57:05):
They are, and you just mention it young skill.

Speaker 12 (57:09):
And what's happening is is you're seeing you know, years
of struggling and drafting high and you know, building for
the future kind of you know fall. I wouldn't say,
like come to fruition, but they've had a great start
and you know, moves like acquiring Sergachev. You're getting players
now all of a sudden, you look at the roster like, oh,

(57:30):
I forgot they traded for that guy. Oh I forgot
they got. So you know, Bill Armstrong's been building this team.
He's drafted and developed a lot of young players, and
those players are starting to, you know.

Speaker 1 (57:41):
Really push through to the next level.

Speaker 12 (57:44):
And then because he's had cap space, because he's got
a wealthy owner that doesn't penny pinch in Ryan Smith,
he's had the flexibility in the currency to go and
get some really good players to ground out his roster.
They're getting goaltending, they're getting a little but have everything.
So I wouldn't say they're the biggest surprise team in
the NHL, but they're close to it based on you know,

(58:06):
how hot they are. And I didn't see New Jersey
winning eight in a row right now, you know, Utah
and New Jersey are probably the two hottest teams in
the league.

Speaker 3 (58:13):
Yeah, seven straight wins for the Mammoth. Let's talk about
a local kid of Vancouver kid, North Vancouver kid fifteen
points in nine games for Macklin Celebrini. Do you see
an improvement something that's obvious versus his rookie season.

Speaker 1 (58:29):
I think just experience.

Speaker 12 (58:31):
So his rookie season, I've said this all along, he's special,
like he is special, special, and you know everybody compared
him all Badard and Batard is starting to come into
his own. But Celebrini, I think is the more rounded
player right away. That the stat that jumped off the

(58:51):
page for me last in the first twenty games last
year is Celeebrini, I believe was second in.

Speaker 1 (58:59):
Takeaways, Like whose puck recoveries?

Speaker 12 (59:01):
He's analytic, like usually it's those are reserved for you
know that, Ryan Getz laughed. John Tavares usually leads that
because he's really strong on his stick. Celebrini was right
there that said to me, this guy knows how to
play hockey away for the.

Speaker 1 (59:16):
Puck because he goes, you can get it back.

Speaker 12 (59:18):
So, uh, you know, I saw his overtime goal the
other night, like he can play like he's just he's
so smart and all you did.

Speaker 1 (59:26):
Is you build off the first year.

Speaker 12 (59:29):
Now you know what to expect, so he doesn't have
that sophomore slump. It's like, Okay, now I know where
my spacing is. Now I know what I can get
away with at this league level. And that's the scary
part because he still hasn't hit his ceiling yet, So
I think he's.

Speaker 1 (59:45):
A special player. I do believe San Jose.

Speaker 12 (59:48):
Are still a work in progress, but they they've got
a young goaltender and asker Off, They've got two young
d there, and they've got, you know, some young forwards
that are built around Celebrini. I think San Jose is
going to be a really good team probby within about two.

Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
Years, players, coaches, GM media. Is there a person involved
in the National Hockey League who hasn't stayed at that
Long Island Marriott across from the Nassau Coliseum. I have
everybody I know.

Speaker 12 (01:00:15):
Has, and as a player that walk to the rink,
there's all these card seekers that were like, they'll take
one of your your your hockey cards and they'll stick it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:25):
To a two by four and they'll say, hey, I
made a plaque for you. I'm like, that's my card
tape through a two by.

Speaker 12 (01:00:30):
Four close enough, they give it to you and then
you signed twenty five things for them.

Speaker 1 (01:00:36):
So, yes, we've all stayed at the Long Island Marriott
in our lifetime.

Speaker 12 (01:00:41):
Yeah, I think they might have to burn that place
to the ground at some point.

Speaker 3 (01:00:45):
Yeah, I don't know how the Islanders aren't there anymore.
I don't know how it exists. By the way, have
you seen any Blue Jays games live?

Speaker 1 (01:00:53):
I didn't. Also, my wife went. My wife and my
son went.

Speaker 12 (01:00:58):
I do have a a friend who had access to tickets,
but I liked sitting at home and watching it on
done like.

Speaker 1 (01:01:09):
Like, I have a funny story.

Speaker 12 (01:01:11):
When Joey bats hit that the bat flip, I was
there and I was with a guy who is We
joked that he's polarizing in Canada, and he looked at
me and because there was a crazy play before that
where there was a bok or something happened and people
were littering the field with beer cans and stuff, and
he looked at me.

Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
He's like, we might have to get the hell out.

Speaker 12 (01:01:33):
Of here, and I said, oh, let's have one more drink,
and then we he hit that that bat flip, and
as soon as he did that, we left. We went
to Harbor sixty across the street and finished drinking for
the night. So it was that's the last like significant
significant Jay's game I've gone to. But I might go
to either game six or seven if they make it
back here.

Speaker 3 (01:01:53):
Yeah, so you don't go to games, you watch it,
watch games in your man cave. You sound like an
old man. Jamie, you're on the right show, okay, just
so you know you fit right in. Thanks, thanks for this.
I thanks for this, buddy, Jamie McLennan, Noodles, tsn BIT

I am lost. We were talking about famous judge through
Time nineteen seventy two. This was a number one hit
in Australia back in seventy two, Who Daisy a day?
Judge drunk down the street? The song's judge drunk or
the band I mentioned it earlier, it's a it's a gentleman,
he's left us. Okay, So that's the name of the bat.

(01:03:31):
There you go. We're talking about low points in that
show's history. Add this to the list. Eh yeah, remember
seventy two? Were you around there? Great? Year? Are you born? Then?
Of course I was dog? No? No, no, what well
you were you born? Sixty eight? There you go see
member seventy two. Seventy two was great? Okay? Uh, experienced

(01:03:54):
one of Victoria's iconic destinations. As we move on to
the waddling dog poll question, sleep sip stock up all
in one legendary spot. Come sit and stay at the
dog today, and it's well known the waddling dogs surrounded
by daisies in the spring.

Speaker 4 (01:04:09):
Turn Ryan, turn it off. You're trying to put me
to sleep? Right, get the pull up?

Speaker 3 (01:04:14):
All right?

Speaker 4 (01:04:14):
Here we go the waddling dog pup pole question Keith
for Sherwood. I'll tell you this guy's getting and I
somehow he doesn't do anything.

Speaker 3 (01:04:26):
How's that poll question doing before.

Speaker 4 (01:04:29):
Ryan turn it off. Keith for Sherwood is said to
become a UFA after the season. What should the Canucks
do with them? Extend them or trade them? Look at this,
seventy eight percents say extend them, and they're saying right
away a sap.

Speaker 3 (01:04:41):
Trade him while his value is high. Twenty forty eight
votes already is hopping. It's popping. If you were focused
on a rebuild, like some members of the media are,
the trade them will the value is high, would make,
would make a whole lot of sense.

Speaker 4 (01:04:55):
They get the guys signed. There hasn't been serious talks yet.

Speaker 3 (01:04:58):
Get going if he can.

Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
It's up to thirty thirty five, forty and you can't
afford him, and then he's gonna go.

Speaker 3 (01:05:03):
Everyone's gonna cry he left town. It might be a
good idea to do it as soon as possible, to
understand where people are coming from. I've said this before
on the show. I always enjoy watching players who get
the building going, and he's one of those players. Oh man,
Zadoroff was like that, and we all know how people

(01:05:24):
feel about the Canucks letting him go. And you know
more about that than I do. You know whether or
not they had a chance to keep him or not,
and there's been others. J T. Miller is going to
be in town tomorrow with the Rangers. He was that
type of player as well. He was if you ask me, okay,
Elias Petterson As we segue from J. T. Miller to

(01:05:46):
Elias Petterson, seems appropriate JT. Miller and the Rangers in
town to take on the Canucks tomorrow night. Rogers Les
Petterson had a great weekend, Yes, a terrific week and
I keep using that to keep using that word. But
three points in the loss to the Habs, and then
what happened last night. He gets the power play goal.

(01:06:09):
Four blocks, one hit, five attempts over twenty minutes of
ice time, and it was most of it. As we
look at some of what he was up to in
that game against the Montreal a lot of that ice
t he was up against Connor McDavid last night, and
it's something that he It seems like his game is

(01:06:31):
better whenever, whenever he's doing that. And this is his
power play goal last night against the Ebonton Owners. But
I don't know is the ten tonight is finally healed.
I'm not sure but Ryan and Derek, I want to
show this after we finished with this video, show this
with this rush. I think it was from the first period.

(01:06:52):
We got that from from last night. I mean, look
at this and this just we haven't seen this for
how long? I mean, look at look at the wheels
on him. When's the last time we saw something like
this neutrals speed? Do you love that? No, it's just
it's like it's like another human or they can't catch up.
It's it's like the way he was during those many

(01:07:13):
times in the past when he's been on his game,
and that certainly has been the case I lately and look,
we've taken our shots at him left and right, making
too much money? Where's this under performing? You know, like
not coming into shape last year, not coming into camp
and shape last year. But boy, that was that was
that rush there, I think was as impressive or more

(01:07:36):
impressive than what he was up to point total wise,
you haven't seen that in a long long time.

Speaker 4 (01:07:42):
God, you love it. I love that ice time's up
at the twenty minute mark. Done, none of this fifteen
sixteen minute stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:07:48):
I like that.

Speaker 4 (01:07:49):
I love the fact he's shooting more eleven shots last
three games. He's been in on five of the canucks
last seven goals done this guy.

Speaker 3 (01:07:56):
Give him credit where credit is due.

Speaker 4 (01:07:58):
He gets a lot of heat in the city because
of his salary and when he underperforms justifiably. So it's
a Canadian market. You have to expect that defensively strong
leads the NHL in block shots, like Don amongst forwards
a months forwards. There is a lot to like about
what he did over the weekend. And he's got to
keep going because this team has got a horrible schedule.

(01:08:20):
This team's got to go back on the road. This
team is injured, Okay, don You need your best guys
to be their best guys. They've got seven injuries, they've
got the half of Abersburg is in Vancouver.

Speaker 3 (01:08:32):
They're going back. But Adam Foot talked about it for Sorry,
but Adam Foot talked about coming through in the face
of adversity, which is something Pat Quinn always talked about. Well,
there's some adversity right now. Team's doing a pretty good
job of coming I thought they played well on Saturday.
It's a very good time Montreal team. And that goes
for individuals as well, like Elias Peterson's kind in the

(01:08:52):
face of adversity, second in points in the in the
on the KNNAK roster right now to Connor Garland, who's
also been terrific eight points in ten games for Lias
Petterson three goals, five or sist. Now we mentioned that
he was matched up yesterday against the best player in
the world, Connor McDavid, and McDavid was spectacular, but Elias

(01:09:13):
Petterson did a great job containing him. He was also
good on faceoffs. Yes, but I wanted to listen to
this club. This is Adam foot postgame last night on
and I'm not sure what the situation was with Rick
Cockett and how he felt about Elias Petterson's defensive game,

(01:09:34):
but perhaps Adam Foote feels differently. But here's Adam Foot
on Elias Petterson playing improved hockey with increased defensive responsibilities.

Speaker 7 (01:09:45):
I think he's thriving on it. I think he enjoys it.
We had a discussion this year how he wanted to be.
He told me he wanted to be a very good
defensive for it as well, and I think he's just
enjoying it. I think he enjoys the matchup against his
jewe is going. He gets into the game quicker, he knows.

Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
He's dependent on it.

Speaker 7 (01:10:05):
And I like the way you know he might have
he's got what, I don't know, eight or nine points close,
he might have more, but he's defending. I always said,
you look at dak Suits, Thatterberg, even Sak, like those
guys defended and could could defend. Now you wonder how
many points they could have if they were on the
far blue like some boards we know do. And PT's

(01:10:27):
defending and I love that about him.

Speaker 3 (01:10:30):
You go praise from Adam Foot and I remember the
first thing that stuck out stuck out for me when
it comes to Elias Peterson when I saw him when
he was at his best earlier in his career, and
it wasn't what he was doing offensively. It was the
way he backjack checked, backchack like with all sorts of energy,
doing things that a lot of offensively gifted NHL forwards

(01:10:53):
have a problem with backchecking. It's not it's not glamorous,
but it's so important. Not everyone does. And I think
it gets involved. He gets his mind in the game
and and be given more responsibility in this case from
Adam helps him offensively. That makes sense. I think it
does But to get back to that where I mean,
you're paying this guy eleven points, say whatever it takes,

(01:11:15):
and if it means him being matched even though he's
slight of frame, that worked that that that worked last
night against mcgavid. Is it always going to work? I'm
not sure. But if it helps him offensively, you gotta
do it.

Speaker 4 (01:11:27):
You know what helps to Don is when your head
coach doesn't throw you under the bus. How many times
have we been negative about Petterson this year, media, fans,
Twitter connects, Twitter, but rightfully so, and not once has
Adam Foot said a negative thing about Petterson that kept
him on board. Then now his confidence sky high. I
give the coach credit. He could have come out and said, hey,

(01:11:49):
I need more from Petterson, not once.

Speaker 8 (01:11:51):
Didn't credit criticizing record he might be doing. I didn't
say that. Don't pullwards in my mouth. Don, I never
said I love Rick Talking talking a good guy. But listen,
give Foot credit. He's played it smart. When the city
and the media and the fans were ripping Peterson, Foot
did not.

Speaker 3 (01:12:10):
Okay. But the reason I say that it's publicly Rick talking,
Rick Tocket publicly uh talked about elas Petts be honest.
He was being We all saw it. He wasn't moving
moving his feet. You saw that clip there of him
rushing through the neutral zone. He was moving his feet.
Behold it, it worked right. This is separation, separations feed

(01:12:31):
right there. He's moving his fees, moving his feet.

Speaker 4 (01:12:33):
But talk it was only being honest. He wasn't skating
his practice habit sucked. He wasn't coaching, he didn't didn't
come into camp. But Rick Talckett was only being honest.
And you can't blame Rick Talckett for that.

Speaker 3 (01:12:46):
Well, but he didn't. He didn't have to say that publicly,
and he did and we appreciate it. We could all
see it. Yeah, we could all see it. I appreciated
the honesty as a member of the media. As a fan,
I didn't. I didn't mind hearing that at all. We
could all see it. Talktt did the right thing. But
good on Elias Petterson. Maybe it has to do with conditioning,
maybe it has to do with increased defensive responsibilities, or both,

(01:13:07):
whatever the case may be. Looks like he's playing better
and that's great for the franchise. Confidence. His confidence this
weekend was up. Now they just got to get out
there and support the White Camps and the Lions and
everything'll be fine.

Speaker 8 (01:13:19):
For non burger or whatever the kids call it. No burger,
non burger, nothing burger, nothing burger. Anyways, quit talking about
that story. Canucks need to get healthy, don they need
to get practice time, and they need.

Speaker 3 (01:13:31):
To be talking about what story.

Speaker 8 (01:13:33):
This stupid The Canucks didn't tweet good luck to the
White cap story. By the way, We've had two people
now in the Bayside Ocean Front Resort in box tell
us that the sports bar at Rogers Arena flipped over
from the Vancouver Canucks game Saturday happening in the bill
all the game is going on, all the game is
going on, flipped half of their televisions over from that

(01:13:56):
game to the Jay's game and put the game audio
to the Jay's game.

Speaker 3 (01:14:02):
No, don't say that game.

Speaker 8 (01:14:04):
There bar two different people during the Canucks game, during
the Canucks game Blue Jays only.

Speaker 3 (01:14:10):
No, no, not half the team.

Speaker 8 (01:14:11):
But the audio game sound. Well to watch the Canucks.
Who cares what the television. You're not watching the televisions,
You're watching the Canucks.

Speaker 3 (01:14:21):
No, there you've been you have you have you've been
to the at the at the sports bar. You're in
the bar, and only there's a small section of seats
that available for people other than that. I've sat in those.
Yeah see, okay, but otherwise you're you can't see the
guess yeah right, yeah, so you're saying half Blue Jays day.

(01:14:42):
That's accommodating Canada's teams in the World Series.

Speaker 8 (01:14:45):
Okay, you're in the tailding where the hockey game is
taking place.

Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
In the game, sound, Canada's team is in the World Series.
What's wrong with this? They've got an Ontario restaurant guy, yeah,
you know, chef boy or d whoever he is, and
in charge of the team right now, and he probably
cares more about the Blue Jays than he cares about
the Canucks. It's just profer that blows my mind. Blows
my mind. And I'm assuming the Lions game probably wasn't anywhere.

Speaker 4 (01:15:13):
It wasn't a game in July. This is a World
Series game.

Speaker 8 (01:15:17):
Rick, your team is peative's game of Blue Jays are
in the World Series, but your team is playing in
that building and your presents.

Speaker 3 (01:15:26):
The TV's Rick, you don't have to, but the game
is what's best for business. If you're if you're a
smart business. Tell you, Donny winning promoting your product. That's
your product, not the not the product exactly. Don't owned
by well sown by Rogers and their bed with them.
But come on, that's just common sense.

Speaker 8 (01:15:45):
Rogers gives them millions and millions and millions and millions
and millions of dollars a year.

Speaker 3 (01:15:49):
Done. Okay, Wow, you you've become a corporate hill. It's
a blue.

Speaker 8 (01:15:57):

Speaker 3 (01:16:01):

he was going to go first overall.

Speaker 4 (01:22:20):
Yeah, yeah, there were there were rumblings, absolutely all right.

I think Andrea the Giant hah okay, she was called

(01:22:42):

Andrea and the Giants, someone she was a guest, a
referee or something like that. In twenty sixteen, she competed

the Blue Jays and if you weren't, you were a
good kid.

Speaker 3 (01:24:29):
Did not do?

Speaker 4 (01:24:30):
Ron Dodd I said it's in my eyes, it's Canada's
team because it captures from here to Newfoundland.

Speaker 3 (01:24:38):
Well, it gets shoved down your throat, that's for sure,
so you can't help it be captured. That doesn't mean
you have to cheer for them.

Speaker 8 (01:24:44):

and his offensive line at the Canucks game last night.
They wished him well for the Western semifinal. It was
well done. Well they were there, right, yeah, they were there.

Speaker 3 (01:25:21):
Yeah. They showed him on the screen Nathan and the
old line. But this story of the sports bar with
half the TVs on the World Series and the audio

and Linda from Surrey ripping into both of us. I
don't like PVR. I refuse to watch sports when I
know who won. Why would I go back and watch

(01:26:14):
it when I know who won. I'm a highlight guy.
Give me all the highlights of sixty seconds.

Speaker 3 (01:26:19):
That's all I need. But maybe you want to analyze
a little further.

Speaker 4 (01:26:22):

one more look at this Fluteie. Don what about Warren Moon.
You know you said Flutie is the best quarterback CFL history.
I'm going to agree with this submission. I think Warren
Moon was done.

Speaker 3 (01:28:11):
Come on, yeah, all I was saying was, oh, you
can argue that Warren Moon was just absolutely Look, Warren
Moon is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and
the Canadian Football Hall of Fame. He's one of few
people that I think only two or three have that distinction.
But just that play there, the shovel pass extremely creative.
Nothing against Warren Moon, but that was more something that

(01:28:33):
Doug Flutie would do or Patrick Patrick Mahomes. It was
very very bolt press. Nathan Rourke Lions playoff game versus

the Cannucks do with them? Extend them? Or trade them?

Speaker 3 (01:29:49):
And extend them?

Speaker 4 (01:29:50):
Seventy eight twenty two percent they trade them, one thousand votes.

Speaker 3 (01:29:54):
Already is hopping. It's popping on a Monday morning. And
have you got any pictures? Yeah, we do, Ryan. Where
we're going first?

Speaker 12 (01:30:03):
Uh?

Speaker 8 (01:30:03):
First is our good pal, good friend of the show, Francis. Yeah,
Francis from zero Avenue, right, yep, she is zero Avenue.
She was at the UH Canucks Habs game in Habs
attire and Donnie and Dolly took man, oh man, what
a great A great early Christmas came from her brother
Matt of sul Forest Lake fame.

Speaker 3 (01:30:26):

Picture's great. And look at that background. Somewhere in East Van.
They took that.

Speaker 4 (01:30:32):
Picture when the Habs scored their first goal. I Donnie,
I was disappointed. There's too many jerseys, Habs jerseys. It's
a little That was a road game for the Vancouver
Canucks on Saturday. I've never seen that many jerseys Habs
jerseys in Vancouver. That disappointed me.

Speaker 8 (01:30:47):
There was a lot of Others fans last night, too,
so there was have you put I know that not always.

Speaker 3 (01:30:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:30:55):
Way too many Habs jerseys on Saturday in Calgary.

Speaker 3 (01:30:58):
The game before that from Montreal, the same thing. Don't
give your tickets up to these guys. But Ricky, give
your tickets up. We talked on Friday. There was box
office tickets available. You didn't have to resell them.

Speaker 4 (01:31:09):
So they're getting them because there's no the Canucks fans
are buying them.

Speaker 3 (01:31:13):
But part of the problem is tickets cost so much.
Season tickets cost so much that part of the plan
for people who buy season tickets is they're gonna sell
off some of their games in order to offset the
cost of the season tickets, which are just so high.

Speaker 8 (01:31:26):
Way too many jerseys, way too many apps for my liking.
Great great picture, by the way, thanks so much, But.

Speaker 3 (01:31:32):
One more quickly.

Speaker 4 (01:31:33):
Adrian and Duncan, me and the boys at the annual

That's just a bat he couldn't get he got him
in there. Ryan, that's that's a great picture, Adrian.

Speaker 3 (01:31:55):
