You'll be there before you know it. I will be around,

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Happy, Happy birthday, done, happy birthday, Thank you, very common birthday.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
See we do this every year too, isn't it, Michael Well,
I don't want to ruin real birthday birthdays, birthdays.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah. Oh you should have let me do it. You
shouldn't let me do it in the birthdays his birthday, yes, yes.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
Nine months to the day from Christmas. Wow, right, you
do the math.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
I'll explain. I'll explain how it works.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
Yeah, snowy outside, fire crackling.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yeah, I don't want that. We're good. Nobody wants that visual,
do they? No? God, no, no, nobody, nobody. Happy birthday,
Donnie's happy birthday.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Thank you, thank you very much, forty nine. I appreciate it. Okay,
moving on and thanks you, guys. Cannucks defeat Calgary three
one last night and Abbotsford A lot of positives but
one major negative coming out of that game. Nils Hoglander
scored the game's opening goal, but he also got injured
early in the second period. He was seen after the
(02:34):
game in a walking boot.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
What are you hearing? That's not good. Whenever you're in
a walking boot leaving a hockey rink, it's not good,
even as a fan. Yeah. Absolutely, they don't know yet.
There's still evaluating this morning. But look, Donnie, here is
the play right here. This is his last shift. So
it's either on that play right there, crunched along the
boards in the neutrals order, but he gets it again here,
so he gets it and.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
He initiates the hit on the second hit, if you
want to call it that.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
My guess is, and you know, when you're in a
walking boot, it's either high ankle spring or broken foot.
I don't see a broken foot possibility, Probably not an arm. Yeah,
and you know what, Donny, broken foot. You to take
a puck on the foot and you fracture it. This
looks like a high ankle spring. I'm just you know,
we're spitballing. You know you're saying that. You can tell
(03:21):
it looks like a high.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Ankle, but it doesn't look like a broke Sometimes you'll see,
for precautionary reasons, an athlete wear a walking boot after
a game. But it's not as serious as it looks
and for the Canuck's sake and they, well, at least
their fans sake, you hope that's the case with Nils
Hoglander and he's he has been a class act since
(03:44):
he became a member of the Knuck organization. Looking to
bounce back this year after ekles last season twenty four
of the year before, a lot of things expected of him.
This is unfortunate, but maybe not as serious as it
looked afterwards. Well it didn't look serious there. Well, let's
sometimes that's the case with injuries.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
As of right now, they don't know. It's it's an
evaluation this morning. The swelling done. Usually in these cases,
the swelling is so big. You gotta wait for the
swelling to go down before and then then comes the
X ray. We we're a medical expert guy. I do
my research. I you know, I don't sit at home
and just sit on the couch and not do anything. Look,
I'm telling you, the swelling is huge. Then comes the
x ray, maybe an MRI that this is a study.
(04:24):
You know, Chris Tanna have had a high ankle sprain
many years ago, five minles. Well, a lot of players
I got that they're not good, Donny, I do want
to say this, Okay, the Canucks do not have the
strongest forward group in the National Hockey League. A lot
of people think their top six is top six is
one of the weakest in the NHL. But I will
don't be negative now I'm telling you the truth. You
(04:46):
may have to go out and call after you find
out Holglander. If he's out, you might have to go
out and call a Jack Rasleovic. You might have to
do that, Donny, this is a significant loss if he's
out done. He's a top nine winger, you know. So well, anyways,
do you go out and call it Roslevik because you
can get Rosalovic cheap? Now you wouldn't have got Rosalvik
(05:06):
cheap in July Orrocken.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
They've played the waiting game. Well if indeed they end
up acquiring him like Ncoln.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
They they waited and waited and they outweighted like in
his agent, and maybe they do the same with Rosslyvick.
I don't know, let's find out how long he's out.
But this forward group right now don cannot afford to
lose long term.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
It didn't look like the strongest forward group in the
league before this news, and again we don't know the
extent of the news. H Adam Foot postgame last night
didn't have much to say except that he's going to
be Del's hoaglander is going to be evaluated today.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
They practiced at ten thirty. By the way, yeah, one
group does one group most likely the B group, the
group that didn't play last night. They should be uh
on the ice at ten thirty. You had a problem
when you found out that day, Ryan said, last night's
team is practicing at ten thirty this morning. There's no
way you're going to make those guys. Well, are you
kidding me? Done? They played last night, but you know
(06:04):
the travel probably got home one travel, it's travel twelve
thirty one. You don't want them on the ice again
at ten thirty. Give me a break. And you were
so close to the agents to stop.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
So when they had to travel from the Atmosphere to Vancouver,
they probably they probably flew. So if you're the coach,
want to fly to atmosphere, I'm kidding Ryan, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
If you're the coach of the Canucks, you're making last
night's team practice at ten thirty this morning.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Coach, It looks like it's not that this is even
if it was, whatever, these are the details we have.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
Group A is practicing at ten thirty am. Group B
is practicing at noon.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Yeah, but which.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
One the group from last night was Group A? It
was a yes, man, you pipe, But I.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Likely will not be the probably just changed the names
in case and even if it is, they'll they'll be okay.
Sometimes Rick, they get off a road trip and they practice. Yeah, yeah,
you junior teams off the bus in junior is different.
Come on, those kids, they're young pups. They got all
the vinegar, pissing vinegar. They're up and ready to go
or just vinegar. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
On the positive side for the Canucks last night, Philip.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Heatel I was watching a lot of the game last night.
He reminded me of Pavl Burry his debut. Bachelor brought
up Burray. Yeah when he did he when heat'l kicked
the pucket, I'm not alone, And then Bachelor said, last
night reminiscent of Pavel Burry kicking the puck up. Remember
the game against Boston preseason game. We were there and
when Burry did that, well he scored and that he yeah,
(07:37):
did it over and then but he also kicked the puck.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
In his debut against Winnipeg up to his stick. I'm
talking on a rush, but Philip Headel is very good
at carrying the puck with speed, Yes, okay, And that
was on his play last night. One goal, four shots,
a lot of patients on that goal, absolutely, which we're
not going to see right now because Ryan's busy doing
something else. Victor Mancini also impressive last night. He scores
(08:05):
the goal, and he had there was a couple of
examples of him with the puck, toe dragging, that sort
of thing, creating chances. Very oppressive offensively. Adam Foot hasn't
hesitated to talk about how there are elements to Mancini's
game where he's got a lot of confidence and maybe
he's going to dial that back guy back. Does that
(08:25):
make sense?
Speaker 1 (08:26):
He gets reckless of time? Yeah, he just tries to
do a little bit too much. But there's a lot there.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Anybody, you saw the tweets last night I did about
people being very very impressed with Victor Mancini.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Right there there's his goal is six three, two twenty
pounds right shot, d skates like the wind, running power play.
One last night. What's there not to like? And I'll
tell you something else done and I'll take this to
the bank. When the Canucks made the GT. Miller trade,
the trade took a little bit longer than expected because
the Rangers didn't want to give up Mancini. They didn't
(08:59):
want to get him up. They didn't want to give
him up, and they finally gave him up. Now you
know what.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
They didn't want to give him up. They didn't want
to give up Tom Leelander, who you have been very
critical since camp started. His best performance in practice, game
or otherwise last night. A couple of assists, two shots.
No surprise here that Tom Vielander, first round draft pick,
(09:25):
who again hasn't been all that impressive since camp started,
but he was last night. No surprise that he comes
up with it with an impressive performance paired with the
veteran Marcus.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Petterson absolutely and more confidence offensively. We have not seen
this up to this date with Wilander doing great things
with the puck. Last night he had confidence. We know
the skating is great, we know he's good in his
own end, but last night, did you see him at
center second period? Had shake getting past the guy skating
out and he didn't show us that.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
I hit the post. I believe him its goal. Yeah, yeah,
the other person who was the player in the Kinnock organization.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
That was impressive.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
This is no surprise, although we all know about the
Populatius and the injury issues, the health issues in the past.
Thatcher Dampco not a lot of work, but there were
some spectacular saves. Stopped eleven of twelve shots through two periods,
and then he was replaced by Tolopilo.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Yeah, first period, he didn't have much. Second period, the
flame started to come on and they started to test
him more and I thought he was great. And then
Tolopelo Donnie good in the third again. So goaltending was
no an issue last night.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
No, okay, So let's say hear from Thatcher Dampco and
Adam Foot on the subject of Thatcher Dampko's performance post
game last night. We start with the Thatcher Dampco then
followed up with Adam Foot.
Speaker 5 (10:43):
Yeah, it's good.
Speaker 6 (10:44):
I thought you guys played really well. You can tell
guys were competing really hard. Guys are trying to make
a team.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
You know.
Speaker 5 (10:52):
It's it's good to see.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
It's good. It's good.
Speaker 7 (10:54):
On everybody raises the pace.
Speaker 6 (10:56):
You know, it's been been good in practice and it's
good to see translating the game. So it was nice
to be out there and nice to you know, play
a game from the Abbuphans.
Speaker 8 (11:05):
Going back to Thatcher, I really what he's got good hands.
But if you go back to last season when he
came back up as injury, compared to now he's around
these pucks. He was so solid with decisions with the puck,
but he also looked like he was getting around so
that it wasn't spinning on him, so it was even better.
(11:27):
And then he didn't have much action going on for
a while, but then he had a barrage but had
a little bit of a breakdown, and you don't want
that as a coach.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Is he a break down?
Speaker 8 (11:33):
But love to see how square he was the pucks
like he came out in two great a's and just
he just knew what he was doing and it hit
him and dropped.
Speaker 7 (11:42):
It was good to see.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Yeah, as Adam Foot said, there not a lot of work,
but there were a couple of five alarm saves if
you want to absolutely want.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
To call it that.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
The other thing with Thatcher Dempko. There was no talk
about health, no in a negative way. Everything seemed to
be positive. And as we all know if you follow
the banchor of a Canuck's health has been an.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Issue with that and he had no step backs. He
had a proper summer of training. He did not have
that twelve months ago. Good for him last night, okay.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Also, uh, I give anything else on the Canucks.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
Sorry, No, that's it. No, that's it, okay.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Uh before we go to break, I just want to
say this that you know, it's a significant day for me.
It's my birthday, sixty ish. I just want to say, folks,
if there was ever a proof that you got to take,
don't take any day, any moment. For granted, Vasilli.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Put cools in. This is just horrible, very sad.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
He signs this contract extension with the abonton Otis and
we talked about it yesterday.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
Everybody just you.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
Know, happy, happy for him and you know, resurrecting his
career after things were down in Vancouver three years two
point nine five per Seemingly. Moments later, his father in Russia, Alexander,
passes away suddenly was it wasn't expected, and Vasili has
left not the oilers for the time being, to be
(13:12):
with his family, enjoy every day. Folks, Just don't you
just don't know when things like that are gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
Man, that's just a that's just a horrible story in
the wake of some such positive news, just the incredible
Hive signing a contract Donnie with with security in term
and then a day later finding out your.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
Father passed away, very very sad thoughts, prayers, gondolences and
need us to say, here's what's coming up on the
show DTMZ. Is it just me in the eleven o'clock hour, Man,
I have to say this that you can say what
you want about the CFL world changes.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
There's a lot we get.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
We got a lot of these, a lot of comments
in the inbox, a lot of people no problem, a
lot of a lot of people. On the other side,
I'm never going to another CFL game.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
This is horrible. I can't.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
But I'll tell you this. They've got a lot of
attention on both sides of the border, the Canadian Football
League with the with this news, and I think most
of it is positive. Most of it is. The majority
is although you wouldn't know it by talking to some
of the players, including Nathan Rourke. Some of the players
have come out on the side of Stuart Johnson's CFL commissioner,
(14:20):
the man at the forefront of these changes. He's going
to join us just after eleven o'clock. Big Rye, the
quitter guy coming up later this hour. And up next
Pride of Victoria recently retired former NHL defenseman Tyson Berry.
He's going to talk to us about his career and
how close he came to becoming a Vancouver Cannock.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
I still remember him dropping five points at Rogers Reno
one night, two goals for assists, all on the power play.
This guy was good on the power play.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
His numbers are very, very impressive. He's hung. He's still
a young man, but he's hung him up after fourteen
NHL seasons. And man, that that's tough to hear because
I remember his dad making his debut with the Flyers
like it seemed like two seconds ago. Like I just said,
enjoy every moment, folks. Okay, Tyson Berry. Next, thanks so
(15:13):
much for tuning in, Folks. Donnie and Dolly the team
want check.
Speaker 1 (15:16):

It's going to take a while to get to this,
I guess because the resume is so impressive. Tyson Berry
former NHL defenseman from Victoria played for the Colona Rockets
fourteen NHL seasons.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Eight with Colorado.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
Retired after playing last season with the Calgary organization. Son
of a another former NHLer, Len Burry, thirty four years old,
sixty fourth overall by the Avalanche back in O nine
and what a career is? Hung them up though, Tyson
Barry joining us now? Tyson, thanks for doing this, sir?
Speaker 1 (17:03):
How are you?
Speaker 5 (17:05):
Thanks for having me?
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (17:07):
Didn't you just get drafted three days ago?
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Where does the time go? Man? I don't know.
Speaker 10 (17:12):
I remember growing up watching you. I don't know where
the time goes, but we're we're here.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
Yeah, thanks for taking a shot at how old I was.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
Times flying by and you're wearing it.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Hey, Oh, like you wouldn't believe it's my birthday today.
I won't even mentioned the birthdayeh, I won't even I
won't even mention the number shots. What led to this decision,
Tyson to hang them up?
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (17:40):
I think it was. It was kind of a gradual decision,
I think. Yeah, obviously the last two seasons hadn't gone
the way that you know, I was used to the
season's going. You know, I have a pretty high standard
for you know, my play and performance, and unfortunately that.
Speaker 5 (17:58):
It wasn't the case last two year.
Speaker 10 (18:00):
So it was, uh, you know, I kind of saw
the writing on the wall, and you know, I wasn't
I wasn't sure if I had another you know, PTO
and a grind in me.
Speaker 5 (18:10):
So yeah, it was just like I said.
Speaker 10 (18:13):
More gradual and just kind of the way the seasons
were shaping up, and obviously it was on my way out,
so I just, uh, you know, decided to call it.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
But fourteen seasons, Uh, what a what a solid career
a Tyson eight hundred and twenty two games, oppressive number
of seasons of the fifty plus points. How would you
describe your career?
Speaker 10 (18:35):
Yeah, I think you know it was I would describe
it it's a lot of fun. I uh, you know,
I enjoyed. I wouldn't say every minute of it. There's
obviously it's like any job where you know, it's your reality.
But man, did I looking back, it was, Uh, it
was a blast. I got to you know, do what
I dreamed of as a kid and work towards my
whole life and got to make that dream come true
(18:56):
and not only play in the NHL, but you know,
have a pretty good and have some great seasons and
you know, met a lot of my best friends in
the last you know, fifty years, So.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
I'd call it a success.
Speaker 10 (19:09):
You know, personally, it was a success for me, and
I feel like the game gave me so much and
taught me so much and allowed me to you know,
travel the world and you.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
Know, make a great living doing playing a game.
Speaker 10 (19:23):
So super grateful and yeah, I think looking back, nothing
but nothing but gratitude.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Hey, Tyson, great career in the Western Hockey League too,
not just the NHL Cologna two thousand and nine Memorial Cup,
Jamie Ben Tyler Myers. That was a great team.
Speaker 5 (19:38):
Yeah, yeah, that was awesome.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
That was.
Speaker 10 (19:42):
I mean, Colon is such a great place to play junior.
We had the team that year we uh, you know,
I think we surprised a lot of people, but you know,
looking back at the names we had, not not really
a surprise, but in the moment, you know, I remember
beating Calgary in the finals and everyone Calgary is the.
Speaker 5 (19:57):
World beaters, so it was pretty cool.
Speaker 10 (19:58):
And yeah, I mean, obviously we came up short at
the Memorial Cup, but what do you do.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
Yeah, hey, you know, you see all these academies parents
now spending forty to fifty sixty grand on minor hockey. Tyson,
what do you think about when you played minor hockey
and where it is today?
Speaker 5 (20:19):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (20:19):
Yeah, I mean, my son's four, so we're not there yet.
But I have a lot of buddies whose kids are
in minor hockey, obviously, a lot.
Speaker 5 (20:27):
Of old teammates, and it seems intense.
Speaker 10 (20:31):
I think, yes, it's a little intense, but you know,
maybe maybe it's similar to the vibe. I don't know,
but I'm sure i'll find out soon enough. My son's
just in skating lessons right now, so yeah, obviously I
don't have all the ins and outs, but it does
seem a little more intense and sounds expensive.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Yes, very much, so, very much. So. You had a
hockey dad who played the game at a high level.
I think he had one hundred and eighty five points
and kamloops in his last year. How yeah, How is
it to have a dad who was such a high
caliber player.
Speaker 5 (21:11):
Oh it was awesome. You know my dad was.
Speaker 10 (21:14):
He was a journeyman, and you know, he really kind
of knew what it took to get there and how
hard it was so he you know, from a young age.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
He tried to instill that in me.
Speaker 10 (21:22):
Not in a way where he was, you know, too
hard on me or anything, but he always let me
be creative and have fun. But you know, the first
and foremost non negotiable was working hard. So really grateful
for that, and coached us all through minor hockey, and
then you know, he was kind of my sounding board
throughout my career. Call him after good games, call him
(21:42):
after bad games. He was always there. So really really
grateful to have someone, you know, obviously of his experience
and caliber in my corner.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Okay, Tenyson, So you know, I know you've done a
lot of interviews since you announced your retirement, so we're
getting these stories from other sources. But spring of twenty
twenty four, you're with Nashville playoff game in Vancouver versus
the Canucks. You don't think you're playing, so you're you're
having a lunch.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
There might have been a cocktail or two there, and
suddenly you're playing. What can you tell us about that night?
Speaker 10 (22:16):
Yeah, that was just it was an interesting evening, that's
for sure. I, Like I said, I hadn't played in
a long time and you know, usually when there's a
chance you're going to play, you know, you take warm
up in case somebody gets hurt or something. And I,
unfortunately wasn't even in the warm up card, so I
was not an option. Yeah, so I walked to see
(22:38):
you all, went and met some pals for lunch, you know,
had a cocktailer too, and just relaxed.
Speaker 5 (22:46):
Beautiful rank per day, you know, wrap that up.
Speaker 10 (22:49):
I went back to the hotel, had a sauna, just
a just a really leisurely afternoon. And you know, at
this point, I still don't even have a text nothing.
I on the Healthy Scratch bus at I think six o'clock.
Like warm ups is at six thirty, so I wheel
into the rink. I probably there at six twenty ish,
(23:09):
and off the bus and our team service guy Brandon
Walker island guy as well, great guy. He goes tice
come with me, and I just was my heart saying,
I'm like, you've got to be kidding me. And sure
enough I walk in the room and the human eraser,
one of my best friends, Luke Schens, just head into
a toilet, into a garbage bin, and I look at
(23:31):
him like you're kidding me.
Speaker 5 (23:32):
He's like it's not good.
Speaker 10 (23:33):
I'm like, okay, and everybody's half year. I don't have
any warm up, no foam roll, no stretch, no nothing.
I just take my suit off. I had time to
text my wife.
Speaker 5 (23:43):
That was it. I said, hey, I'm playing. She text
me back, You're an idiot. I went through my gear
on and that was it.
Speaker 10 (23:52):
And it was funny because my buddy who I was
at lunch with, Dave Hamilton, incredible, incredible guy. He was
at the game with a bunch of his friends and
I didn't even get to tell him. So he was
up in the stands. The next thing you know, he's looking,
He's like he saw me. It's like, what is going on?
So yeah, that was an interesting one for me.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
How did you play?
Speaker 5 (24:14):
It's fantastic.
Speaker 10 (24:15):
They should have wrote me, we got a we got
a big W Force Game six. I had a drop
past Apple the yos. You know, honestly, I think if
they would have told me earlier in the afternoon, I would.
Speaker 5 (24:27):
Have had time to get like stressed out and anxious.
Speaker 10 (24:29):
But I had, you know, four minutes to get my
gear on for warm up, so I didn't even I
couldn't process it. So I just got out there, and
I mean that's you know, that's it's what we do,
is play hockey. So it just kind of it came
to me fairly, fairly easily. Yeah, but yeah, and it's
not like I was hammered or anything.
Speaker 5 (24:45):
You know, He's just a couple of cocktail.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
Hey, Also, speaking of the Cannucks, you've told the story
recently about all and we heard about this that the
you know, rumors fly, but almost getting traded to the Knucks.
You thought you were gonna be with the Cannucks in
twenty nineteen, is that right?
Speaker 5 (25:02):
Yeah, Yeah, it sounded like it was close.
Speaker 10 (25:05):
My agent's called and said, hey, like, there's a substantial
offer on the table for you. We don't know if
it's going to happen, but it it looks like it might,
so just keep your phone on. And I was at
a Yankees game in New York, so that was fairly stressful,
but not really. I was, I was, I kind of
the writing was on the wall when Cale came in
(25:25):
to Colorado.
Speaker 5 (25:26):
He was, you know, you see his generational.
Speaker 10 (25:28):
So I knew I was on my way out, and
you know, Vancouver seemed like a good option if I
was going anywhere but ended up in Toronto that wasn't ideal,
but made some great friends there and yeah, that's yeah,
so it was close, but I guess it didn't happen.
And I think the Canucks ended up getting Miller shortly after,
(25:52):
so probably made the right move.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
And Tice, before you let you go thirty four years old,
you're still a very young man versus people on this desk.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
What's in your future? What's in your future? What are
you going to be up to?
Speaker 10 (26:04):
Yeah, you know what, I have a beer company with
a bunch of hockey friends called Chili Ones, which takes up,
you know, as much time as you want it to.
Speaker 5 (26:12):
It's pretty fun and really cool project.
Speaker 10 (26:16):
And then I've got a young family and you know,
just here on the island, just kind of relaxing a
little bit and sinking into that. And then I always
enjoyed doing a little bit of media, so I might
dip my toe in and and see what that world's
all about. And obviously grew up watching you, Donnie, so
learn from the best. And yeah, we'll see where it
leads us.
Speaker 1 (26:35):
Yeah, you've already mentioned that, Tyson, we went through that.
I'm one more. How's the hell?
Speaker 3 (26:41):
How's because if somebody retires, you wonder how up.
Speaker 10 (26:46):
Yeah, honestly great, I I I I don't think I
played the most hard nosed game ever. So I was
a bit of a stick first poke check guy. So
I got away with my health and I'm super grateful
for that, and head's good. You know, I've got you know,
some shoulders and some knee stuff, but nothing, nothing at
this point that's going to slow me down.
Speaker 5 (27:05):
So feeling very grateful.
Speaker 10 (27:06):
I got to have the longevity that I did and
leave with my health.
Speaker 5 (27:11):
So super super stoked.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
You've got to be proud of what you've accomplished. Tyson,
thanks so much for this. We appreciate it, and good
luck if you get into the media. You know what,
you watch our show. Rick's messing up all the time.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
So who knows you could be on this on this
desk right here, right here exactly.
Speaker 5 (27:29):
Nobody's safe, nobody. Yeah, thanks, great, I've just given you
a hard time.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
Don't worry, but don't worry about it. See hi do
your dad? Thanks Tyson, appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
Guys, thanks for having me you.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
Bet Tyson Berry character. You know you're thirty four years old,
is so I'm jealous. So young and it sounds like
he's leaving with his health, so that's good.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
Another great BC boy, a BC product, Victoria product, him
and Jamie Ben playing together in Colonna. How cool was that?
Great stuff? All right?
Speaker 3 (27:56):
Or thanks to Tyson Berry will take a break and
introduce her.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Do we have the poll question? I can't even remember.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
We talked about it so much before the show, you
and I, more so than Rick, I think have a
problem with you know, differentiating between what we talked about
on the air and off the air. We talked about
the poll question off the air. We'll introduce it to
you or viewers and listeners. Next, Donny Dolly the team
one check looking for the ultimate Vancouver Island getaway. Head
(28:22):
to Beautiful Parks Bill and experience the Bayside ocean Front Resort,
where every stay feels like a vacation you'll never forget.

at two five zero two four eight eight tuple three.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
Your Island adventure starts here.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
A Canucks group is on the ice now at Rogers Arena,
and it looks like the group that will be playing
tomorrow night Rogers Arena against the Seattle Kraken, their third
preseason game. We'll get to that in a second, but
first our poll question. Watling Dog Pole question experience one
of Actroy's iconic destinations. The dog sleep, sip, and stock up,
(29:28):
all in one legendary spot. Come sit and stay at
the Wattling.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Dog the dog today, Rick Ryan, get her up the
Watling dog Pole question? Which of these three young defensemen
is most likely to crack the opening regular season opener
line up? There? Anyways? Will Lander? Hell? Did you just say?
I tried to add the Let me redo it again.
Which of these three young defensemen is most likely to
(29:51):
open the season of Vancouver Tom Lander, dpt Or Victor Mancini.
Very surprised here, Very surprised you, I think I am.
Look what Victor Mancini did last night. Look what he
did in Seattle, and I am a little bit surprised
that DPD is sixty three percent. Then comes Mancini thirty
two and will Lander way down.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
I wonder how many D men they're going to carry
well on opening Night. The reason I say I'm not surprised,
or hint that I'm not surprised, is just because of
the way DPD.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
Looks last season. Yeah, he did at the NHL level.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
And this is nothing against Victor Mancini or Tom Vlander,
who had a very special performance last night. But I
thought DPD just looked so good in so many areas
of the game last season.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
And what does a coach want from the third pair?
Don that's also crucial in this and who ends up?
Do you want an offensive guy in the third pair
on the right side like DPD is big, he's strong,
he hits, he's defensively responsible. He reminds me of with
tas Oland. I mean, is that more of the type
of guy you want in the third pair? It depends
on what the coach wants in the third pair. Well,
(30:57):
they got to be penalty killers too. The left side
that third pairing would more than likely be.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
Forward right forbards he's in the scutters where he might
be a little bit surprised with DPD, although he seems
to be such a special player that this might not
be an issue. But Lelander and Mansini, both right handed,
both play on that right side, DPD would be playing,
if you want to call it, his off side is
wrong side a lefty moving over to the right side.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
Yeah, one more thing, absolutely, But I just want to
see how this plays out. This is the biggest roster decision.
I think there's no question in my eyes is exactly
who gets that third pair right side with fourbard and
a bachelor. Last night down Brandon Bachelor v Lander like
v Lander and so I asked, somebody, is it v Lander?
(31:50):
And no, I have no We all heard Wollander Wollander.
So my guy told me last night he would know.
He said, it's a soft v softee like bachelor's coming
in with it's a W. It's a W. But in Sweden,
I guess you pronounced the the W with the V
(32:13):
bachelor saying Vlander. I was told it's just soft v
Thelander a soft fee, soft fee Okay, So I checked
into that last night.
Speaker 3 (32:22):
Derek Softbee is a band name softee, you can mark
that down.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
Name bad name. It's not v Lander Thelander.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
Okay, all right, that's awesome, we'll figure it out.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
I checked into it and I asked a guy who knows.
So basically, I think you're criticizing Brendan Bachelor. I don't
know where. I don't know where Bachelor got v Lander.
I I've never heard that.
Speaker 9 (32:51):
You know.
Speaker 3 (32:52):
I remember early on with the Canucks the year two,
they had Jocelyn.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
Go oh government. Yeah, well everybody call them government. Okay.
Speaker 3 (33:04):
Anyway, it was goovermont thin for his season, and then
he made the correction, uh to gaver vermont Ga.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
Remember Huff he went to Buffalo, big defenseman. Yeah yeah,
big shot man. I'm old.
Speaker 3 (33:17):
There's three people out there who know I'm who I'm
talking about or the number two.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
So Jeff Patterson has tweeted this out. He's at Rogers
Arena right now. This is the group that's on the ice,
and there will be other groups to follow at Rogers
Arena right now ahead of Friday's game against the Kraken.
Like I say, busy night in Vancouver sports Friday, the
Lions play, Canucks play, and the Giants and White camps
(33:45):
play on Saturday. But what's sticking out for you here?
Maybe go through the U go through the lines there.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
So Debrask Petterson, Besser, they're trying. That's the top line,
you know, that's the top line that we saw in
Penticton a training camp. They're keeping them together. Coots the
young kid everyone's talking about. He's only eighteen, first round pick.
He gets to play with Lakarra, Mackie and Caine. That's huge.
And Kane's not playing with Heatel because heatles with the
other group. Crats off Blueger and chats off with it.
(34:12):
With the soft v craft the Doney stopped. There's no
you don't have to worry about the V there because
it's not at the beginning of the name. Anyway. Stop Arlison,
Ratu and mckechrn fourth line and then look at the defense.
Heughs Heronic kudriats Joseph. But here's the interesting part, d
PD with Worlander. Wallander played last night. This is going
(34:33):
to be his third straight preseason game. Nobody is getting
three straight. Nobody. They are giving Volander a hard look.
They're giving Volander every opportunity. Just stop it done they're
giving cap soft v. Velander's getting a hard look, hard look,
(34:54):
vom soft v Velander's getting a hard look look. Nobody's
got three pre game. Yes, they are looking at this
kid and saying, get out there and make the team
with your soft fee soft fee.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
Well, interesting because they'll be up pairing a defense pairing,
and you think that they're in competition with each eye.
I would think Vielander is going to not be playing
at the NHL level to start.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
Certainly, we don't know. They're obviously giving them a hard
long look, and they're saying, go out there and show us.
Because I'm telling her soft long. They would love Donnie
for the first round pick to make the team. Okay.
Speaker 3 (35:33):
Also standing out here, sticking out here is uh you
mentioned it Coots. Between Cain and Lecer Mackie, I can
just imagine how over the moon Patrick Alvin and Jim
Ruththerford must be with what Braden Coots has shown them
so far. Some hope for the organization, some hope for
(35:54):
the customer base, hope the youngest captain in the Western
Hockey League at seventeen, Donnie.
Speaker 1 (35:58):
They don't know, they don't name kids seventeen captain and
junior hockey. And if you are, you got a high
character and you know what, you set the temple in
the pace with hard work on and off the ice.
You're a great pro on and off the ice. And
that's what Kotsa is.
Speaker 3 (36:10):
They seem to like mccachry, McKenzie mccachrin. Yeah, he was
thirty one years old. They brought him in former blue
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
And also he played last night. Yeah, Ratu played last
night too, So you know, keep going with him and
crats off. You named it. You said he had a
chance last night. But he's got to show more if
he wants to make this team done, He's got to
show more. Yeah. As for allricks in Wilmer Alriksen big kid,
big kid with a lot of offensive potential there. Keep
(36:37):
keep an eye on him, you know. I just look,
we tend to be here. You tend to be negative
when it comes to the Vancouver Cannucks. Stop it.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
But this the last few days have been pretty positive
for the Conductions. I'm not talking about the result last
night or what happened, what happened in Seattle, just talking
about the stories we hear. There's a lot, a lot
of positivity, you know, and I know it's very early.
I know it's trained camp, preseason. You can't read a
whole lot into it. But at least there are some
positive signs with the Cannock organization, which hasn't been the
(37:09):
case the last several years.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
Look at those kids, DPD Wilander, Mancini and don't you
dare forget about kod Ryotsav. He's going to be a
good and I won't. They have got four good young
defensemen in the system. When's the last time the knuck
said that, Right's it's been a while. It's been a while.
They got some good promising defensemen coming in the pipeline, yep.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
But Coot's just so much promise there. And I can't
imagine how happy Patrick Elvin and jer muth Fred are.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
Good on the kid. He's making it hard for them
to cut him down. That's all you want from your
your young kids, make it hard to cut.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
Okay, business and as we get ready for a big
rye and at the top of the our CFL Commissioner
Stuart Johnson, tomorrow Able Auctions will sell the entire inventory
from a bankrupt e bike retailer and rental company wow,
over they're hot.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
Right. Oh look at these?
Speaker 3 (38:02):
Oh you see them all over the place.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
Oh, I know what about us? And we had the
BMW bikes in the eighties, doney, Remember the BMW bikes.
You don't remember? I didn't have one? What BMX Oh BMX, No,
it was BMW. I'm pretty sure BMW is a car.
Oh BMX y. It was BMX bikes in the eighties, doney.
Oh they were the best. Yeah, best. I'm from the
ten speed. Oh, I remember the ten speed. Ten ten
(38:25):
speed in the seventies was big. BMX was big. Ten
speeds were I don't see ten speeds anymore? Done?
Speaker 3 (38:32):
Were were over one hundred and fifty brand new e
bikes segways remember those e scooters and snow bikes. Maybe
some BMW bikes as well, plus over two hundred thousand
dollars in person accessories. Everything from this e bike bankruptcy

Commissioner Stewart Johnson Top of the Hour. Up next, big
Rye Twitter Guy, Donnye Dolly the team.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
On check.
Speaker 3 (39:15):
Boy injury concerns with Nils Hoglander in Vancouver. But what
about what's going on right now in Florida with the Panthers.
Speaker 1 (39:23):
Big Rye Twitter guy.
Speaker 4 (39:25):
Yeah yeah, this is a developing story out of Florida.
Is apparently the first day the veterans were officially on
the ice for the Panthers for practice. This according according
to Will Manzo, sports director out of Miami. Here is
(39:45):
the video courtesy w PLG Local ten News of Alex
Barkov going down at practice this morning and needing to
be carried off the ice without putting any pressure on
his right leg. So that is a not a great
scene happening for the Panthers. Matthew could Chuck, by the way,
(40:08):
Palmers saying after practice they'll know more later and update tomorrow.
They're gonna do some tests and stuff as.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
Opposed to he'll be okay.
Speaker 4 (40:15):
Yeah, Matthew kud Chuck is already out for Christmas Christmas
right after his surgeries in the off season, So the
Florida Panthers might be missing two very important pieces for
a significant period of time to start the season.
Speaker 1 (40:30):
If it goes the way this looks like it could
go well.
Speaker 3 (40:35):
Such an innocent looking player as well, and you can't
really blame anybody here. So he just caught it a
It's three times Selky winner, one of the great players
in the national Honky late, two Stanley Cups, three straight
Stanley Cup final appearances for him and the Panthers.
Speaker 1 (40:50):
What a loss that would be. Yeah, they're up against
it now, big time. One of the best enterman in
the league. And oh, we don't know yet. Yeah, we
don't know yet. But it doesn't look good though, don
just like hope, I mean, we don't know. This looks
a lot worse than Weirdly though, when you sometimes see
plays like this where it looks like, my god, maybe
his season's over.
Speaker 4 (41:10):
Yeah, and then it'll be like, yeah, I know, we
escaped injury for the most part, and it'll be back
in you know, two weeks or something like that.
Speaker 1 (41:16):
Like, look, we didn't talk about.
Speaker 4 (41:17):
It yesterday, but David Fry if you missed it on
Tuesday night in the MLB, hit by a Scooball pitch
the Detroit Tigers Pitcher hit ninety nine miles an hour
in the face and he didn't even need surgery.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
He's got some facial fractures obviously, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (41:33):
But no surgery needed. They're expecting four week recovery. I mean,
sometimes it's and the ones that look really innocent and
it's like, oh, that's a six month injury. Hopefully that's
not the case for Nils Hogel. We'll continue to monitor
what's happening at Rogers Arena. Speaking of Rogers Arena, that
that divicious top. I'm not saying they're not going to
make the playoffs, but park Coffinka Chuck for extended time.
Speaker 1 (41:58):
Yeah, is awful. Awful. They just added Marshaun, they added
Sam Bennett and they'll be fine. They kept them, they
kept they kept with them. They could have lost those guys,
then what it would be like they kept that bot too.
The fact they kept all those dudes, Man and Sam Reiner,
they all took less. That's what you got to do
to win, is take less to win, and that's what
those guys did. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (42:17):
Well, and then well there's a good reason why they
stuck around. Taxes, taxes and also just legacy. You have
a chance to add another cup to your resume, and
that they clearly like playing there. Yeah, no doubt. Okay,
for another day. It bothers you, I know, just the
Florida Panthers of the model franchise in the NHL.
Speaker 11 (42:37):
Well they are good on them. And before that it
was Tampa Bay, the Tampa Bay Light. Yeah, they've had
a good ten year run, those two. And but the
practice facility helps.
Speaker 1 (42:48):
Don you know you ripped me for bringing it up
too much than anybody. We showed the practice facility in Florida, Yes, absolutely, yeah, credible.
So was the one in Utah as well. Uh. We
mentioned the Canucks on the ice one other thing today
for the first time this video, Curtsey, are good, pal,
(43:09):
Jeff Patterson. For the first time today the Vancouver Canucks
are on the ice of Rodgers Arena, practicing in front
of the black seats.
Speaker 4 (43:18):
So you'll notice, though, as I back it up, I'm
gonna freeze frame this video courtesy Jpek.
Speaker 1 (43:24):
There you see boom right there in the corner.
Speaker 4 (43:27):
So unfortunately where the seats seats, the seats, you know,
where they get removed for the stage. That's the stage
side of Rodgers Arena. That piece that's removable. Is all
still burgundy seats behind the one net.
Speaker 1 (43:42):
Why it's not done yet, I don't know. There's probably
they are changing instruction. They are changing them. I hope
somebody didn't miscount and they're just short on them. But
got time the season openers, not tomorrow two weeks man.
Speaker 4 (43:53):
Yeah, they'll get it done, Ryan, But much like I
said about Brian Adams, because again, there is some burgundy
left in Rogers Arena, much like I said.
Speaker 1 (44:02):
About Brian Adams tomorrow night, because they're not gonna be
done by tomorrow night. It's not. It's still happening in
twenty four hours. If you go to that game tomorrow
night and you're in the burgundy seats and.
Speaker 4 (44:11):
You're the people that are shafted sitting in the burgundy seat,
it's a preseason.
Speaker 1 (44:15):
That's gotta suck. No, but that's gotta suck. Though. The
entire building for the most part, has these brand new
fans one game.
Speaker 3 (44:22):
But if I was a season ticket holder, yeah, I'd be.
Speaker 1 (44:26):
Asking some questions like, Hey, what's going on here? Ryan,
They're going to watch your hockey game where they're sitting
is is not high on the list of things tomorrow?
Speaker 3 (44:34):
Yeah, but if you've bucked up big time, I take
your side. And you're a season ticket holder, I'm thinking,
you know, fifty.
Speaker 1 (44:42):
Off at the team. What's going here? Yeah, I've been
told this. Everything should be done by a regular season
over you've been told. I've been told that you've been
making a lot of calls. I told everybody three weeks
ago it's eighty to eighty five percent done, and I
was correct.
Speaker 4 (44:57):
It's still it is going to take some adjustment to
see Ryan, this arena with all black.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
It just looks. This looks like something there's going to
be people in the seats that you just still notice it.
You'll still notice it.
Speaker 4 (45:10):
It's just gonna take some time to get used to
it used to because the burgundy is all gone.
Speaker 1 (45:15):
And thankfully that is the case.
Speaker 3 (45:17):
What what happened to the multi colored seats, the checkerboard,
the checkerboard like we see at BC place where if
it's not a house, it looks more like a full house.
Speaker 1 (45:28):
Does it that? It does to me? I mean, this
actually looks good. I wasn't a big fan of them
going to black seats, but this is not Why why
did you not want black seats? Why? Why do you
want black seats because they're thirty years old. Man. But
they could have colored the same color, though, Ryan, why
just sets that color? Would you?
Speaker 9 (45:48):
Like?
Speaker 1 (45:49):
I remember the old Pacific College. I wish they did that.
Speaker 3 (45:53):
That would have been would have been nice little call
back to history.
Speaker 4 (45:56):
No, you could have done two tone uppers one color. Well,
where's another color?
Speaker 1 (46:01):
People? I love the Calseum blue. People might not remember this,
but as I say that a lot, but.
Speaker 3 (46:09):
Up to the Frank Stanza Okay my birthday.
Speaker 1 (46:14):
Give me this one. In John Korea in nineteen fifty.
Speaker 3 (46:17):
Madison Square Garden had purple seats in the lower bowl
and teal in the upper bowl.
Speaker 1 (46:25):
It's just horrible. Why.
Speaker 3 (46:27):
I don't know those years ago though, I guess they
were kind of like in at the time those.
Speaker 1 (46:32):
They discounted the eighties.
Speaker 3 (46:34):
Maybe yeah, maybe that was the case with the black seats,
and it was just it was like Madison Square Garden.
Speaker 1 (46:39):
Like, what what's the colors? They could be blue and
red or blue and orange like the Knicks, or whatever
the case may be, or black. What it was really, Yeah,
this looks nice. I like it. It looks nice. I
will say.
Speaker 4 (46:50):
You know, the people that are out there that Oh,
they're putting in black seats because it's going to be
the black skate full time. Yeah, you bring this up
all the time. This franchise has used what nine million
colors on jerseys and get.
Speaker 1 (47:01):
Around the black.
Speaker 4 (47:02):
It's got nothing to do with the jerseys. It's just
this is the most neutral color for an arena that
you can have. All right, So, and they're very comfortable.
As I said, people will experience that. If you're going
to the game tomorrow night, maybe you've been.
Speaker 3 (47:15):
Doing it's great to know that you think they're whining
and complaining for whining for years to two people who
grow up watching lions of white Caps games and the
wooden benches and.
Speaker 1 (47:24):
Empire, the empire. We sat on wooden benches. You sat
on wood as I bring this up again for three dollars,
doesn't matter. The point is we didn't complain because back
in the eighties, no one complained like they complain now.
Derek put this up. This is one other photo from
jpat See look at look at the corner. Who cares
those people? Those people who I feel bad for.
Speaker 4 (47:47):
If you're one of those people and you're sitting there
tomorrow night, you should all get a.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
Free TRIPLEO burger or pop or something. You think just
ownership's giving up free Yeah right, yeah, yeah right, not happening.
I know. No, honestly, there's gotta be some sort of competition. Yeah,
I mean that's brutal. You're looking around. It's a preseason game.
Deeve over there is all comfortable sitting in the seats.
I'm in this crap. What's going on here? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (48:10):
I have some sort of discount itam store a hat?
Speaker 1 (48:13):
Sure? Anything coming up next? It's been a big, big
week for the CFL in terms of the conversation around

you happy to be here?
Speaker 7 (49:43):
Thanks?
Speaker 1 (49:43):
Don anything anything new?
Speaker 7 (49:46):
No, it's been pretty quiet.
Speaker 12 (49:49):
Just put my feet up on the desk and you know,
daydream a little bit.
Speaker 1 (49:53):
What are the last few days have been like?
Speaker 3 (49:55):
What are the last few days been like for you
since the announcement of the CFL role.
Speaker 7 (49:59):
Changes, Well, you can imagine it's been.
Speaker 12 (50:02):
It's been hectic, frenetic, a mix of a number of
these types of discussions and just managing change. Right, This
is changes. It change is difficult. Changes is not what
we're all used to. And I recognize what was announced
on Monday was significant change.
Speaker 3 (50:21):
How necessary do you think these moves were for the
future of the league, Stuart.
Speaker 12 (50:26):
We think they're great moves for the league. We ultimately
we're opening up touchdowns. This is opening up the center
of the field eighty percent of all our passes.
Speaker 7 (50:35):
Into the end zone or to the sides.
Speaker 12 (50:38):
We think is going to increase the number of attempts
into the end zone by ten percent. It's going to
increase the number of touchdowns by sixty or more. This
is going to help with player safety, moving those posts back,
it's going to help with teams that are pinned deep
in their own end. We think the entertainment value of
the game of showing off are readable, three down, twelve players,
(51:03):
sixty five yard wide motion game is going to be electric,
And I think touchdowns. It's a trade off of touchdowns
for field goals, for sure, but touchdowns are what gets
shared on social it's what brings people to their feet,
it's what drives a lot of television audience.
Speaker 3 (51:20):
So Stuart, we certainly know this out here. I'm sure
you're aware of it. Nathan Rourke macy lyons quarterback has
been critical these changes. Do you understand where he's coming from?
And have you reached out to him?
Speaker 12 (51:34):
I absolutely understand, and it's it's it's interesting. I think
I think he voiced some things that are reflected by
a lot of people who heard change and change of
things that have been around our league for a long time.
And so I did reach out to Nathan and we
had a very very good conversation. It was it was
(51:57):
incredibly respectful and change of ideas. I'm not going to
get into what else was talked about, but really felt
good that we had a chance to connect. And ultimately,
you know, for those fans who who maybe are thinking, well,
what led to this? Was this some sort of ulterior motive?
(52:18):
And where we going next? Is this just step one
towards other massive on field rule changes. The answer is
no to both. You know, what we described, the benefits
that we can see us see this league achieving are
what led to the decision, and now we are moving
on to other parts of our business to review, not
the on field product, not how to expose this great
(52:40):
three down game of ours. And so I think a
lot of you know, I hope, I hope, I hope
that that projection perhaps some fear of what's next, you know,
is is allayed because we really are not focused on that.
Speaker 1 (52:54):
Hey, Stewart, you're talking to two guys that used to
go to Empire Stadium in the late seventies to watch
a lot, and so you're talking to two guys that
have loved this league for a long time. Stayed to
three downs. That was a big one for me because
if you go to four downs, then you're it's might
as well call that NFL too. Talk about the importance
sustaining the three downs, Rick.
Speaker 12 (53:17):
I go back to watching games in the seventies myself.
You look far too young, that's true, but there was
it was just never a question.
Speaker 7 (53:28):
It was never a question.
Speaker 12 (53:29):
We never never discussed once the number of downs or
any of the other rules that I would say truly
reflect our Canadian brand of play. That's actually what we're
trying to expose. So no, we are a three down league.
Speaker 1 (53:45):
What about the ratio? That's the other one for me
is is making sure you didn't change the ratio because
it's important to have that many Canadians on the roster
every year.
Speaker 12 (53:55):
Well, again, can say the ratio was never discussed, ever considered.
It wasn't an any thought process. But to be fair,
that is a CBA right issue that is baked into
our CB and we have many years left in our
wonderful CBA, and so of course that was not under consideration.
Speaker 7 (54:17):
But I'll leave it at this.
Speaker 12 (54:18):
Boy, the Canadians we have in our league are performing
at I think an all time high, and they're doing
our country crowd.
Speaker 3 (54:25):
Sir, you're a TV guy. You have an extensive background
in television with TSN, and I was wondering when I
heard about the move from one hundred and ten yards
to one hundred and shrinking the end zone from twenty
yards and I remember twenty five yard end zones by
the way to fifteen yards, and certainly that will help
(54:46):
with offense. But I always felt, I've always felt that
the for whatever reason, the NFL field smaller field looks,
if I can use the word, better on television than
they see NFL field, much like I think that the
NHL sized arenas look better than the European sized arenas.
(55:07):
Was that a factor at all?
Speaker 7 (55:09):
Well, it wasn't gone. And by the way, you look
too young to know about twenty.
Speaker 1 (55:13):
Five years, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 7 (55:16):
Yes it's but no, it wasn't a factor.
Speaker 12 (55:20):
Look and mostly because I think the difference you see
in production style between NFL television production and Canadian is
the width of the field, and we weren't. We're not
touching the width of the field. That's that leads to
twelve players and basically all our other key rules.
Speaker 7 (55:36):
Uh So no, I don't.
Speaker 12 (55:38):
I don't think that shrinking the length is going to
make too much of a difference. We are going to
talk to our broadcast partners and think about whether there's
some new camera angles that can come through on this.
Speaker 7 (55:48):
But it wasn't. It was not a focus of this decision.
Speaker 3 (55:51):
Yeah, it's one of those things that I can't pull
my finger on it. It's just a personal opinion. Let's
get back to Nathan Rourke for a second, if you
don't mind, Stuart, he talked about the players not being consulted.
Speaker 1 (56:02):
What can you tell us about that.
Speaker 12 (56:04):
Well, look, I think that these are these are clearly
significant decisions, and we involved quite a group of folks
that are here at the league office and in and
around from from our league government lead to governors for
for someone that you know. We had football operations involved,
we had marketing, data, data, analytics, stats, communications, all of
(56:28):
that involved in months of work and a lot of
people who are ex football players involved in this. And
when you're talking about, you know, major business decisions, it's
a balance between what you can share and what you
just need to power forward when you know it's right.
Speaker 3 (56:47):
Yeah, you mentioned, Uh, now it's time to move on
to other parts of the business, other parts to review
what's next for you.
Speaker 7 (56:57):
Yeah, it's so.
Speaker 12 (56:59):
I think there are a number of things that we're
focused on.
Speaker 7 (57:03):
Some of them some of them are just grinding out
steps to help elevate our league.
Speaker 12 (57:08):
They're not big, massive, press conference worthy announcements. But we
have to look at every part of our off field
product to make sure that it lives up to the
level of our on field product. And and that means
every part of our business and who we partner with
and in how we how we deliver our messaging and
(57:30):
what what we you know, how we look.
Speaker 7 (57:32):
As a league.
Speaker 12 (57:33):
The goal here is to secure the CFL's rightful place
as a top North American major professional league. We are
Canadian and we are strong, and we need to make
sure that we are at that level.
Speaker 1 (57:51):
Stuart, where's the health of the league right now in
terms of all clubs across the board? This is your
first year as the new commission. But what are you
seeing the good and the areas you got to improve on?
Speaker 7 (58:03):
Good is ratings are up.
Speaker 12 (58:06):
We've got some in state and metrics that are up,
like attendants and in game day revenue. We've got great
growth on social, on digital, on our relationships with fans
through digital marketable fans who get to hear from us
and want to hear from us.
Speaker 7 (58:23):
So some really good metrics there.
Speaker 12 (58:26):
But there's a lot of work to do, and and
business is cyclical, and we know professional sports and CFL
is not excluded established professional sports, they go through cycles.
I think we're in a good run right now, and
we've got to make sure that it continues to grow
and doesn't fall into the downturn that sometimes happens on
those cycles. So, you know, we want to improve attendance
(58:46):
in a number of markets. We want to we want
to have our ratings continue to grow and and that
is a very difficult thing to do in the modern age.
Speaker 7 (58:57):
Uh.
Speaker 12 (58:58):
And so we've got to make sure that we've got
the right elements place to drive attention through our media
partners and overall, I need to generate more revenue and
increase revenue at a greater clip than our costs are increasing,
and that's going to lead to a sustainable, healthy league.
Speaker 1 (59:16):
I love the new stadiums in Hamilton, Winnipeg, Saskatchewan. Any
talk in Vancouver the white Caps are looking, Stuart to
build something new. Could the Lions get together with them?
I'm mary hearing anything about a new stadium for the
Lions of Vancouver.
Speaker 12 (59:33):
I talked to Dwayne often and NMR and that is
not a topic of conversation that we've had.
Speaker 7 (59:41):
I think the you know it was therefore for Snoop
Dogg to open it this this season, and uh, it
was a great vibe in BC Place. I really enjoyed it.
Speaker 3 (59:52):
Rick wants to see less rap artists and more old
school rock and roll. Maybe you could talk to them
about that. By the way, story you look way too young,
commissioner of the CFL, so we'll return the company.
Speaker 7 (01:00:05):
I appreciate that. Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
Yeah, you know what.
Speaker 3 (01:00:08):
And one more thing, Stuart, I think and all of
us here agree, we're all fans of the league. I
think it's been a great week for the league. At
the very least, it's number one. It's been our number
one topic of discussion this week. That doesn't always happen.
I think it's been a great week.
Speaker 1 (01:00:24):
Yep.
Speaker 7 (01:00:25):
Well, I appreciate that.
Speaker 12 (01:00:26):
I talk an awful lot about we are in the
attention economy.
Speaker 7 (01:00:30):
We are.
Speaker 12 (01:00:30):
That's what you do every day. It's what we do
every weekend and all week long. We've got to win
the attention economy. I think we absolutely annihilated the attention
economy this week. But I also don't one who you
know would I would love to annihilate the attention economy
with with all of our fans embracing and joyful. So
I want to come on these types of shows. Make
(01:00:52):
sure that you know I can if I can reassure
anyone who's got some concerns or some nervousness about nervousness.
Speaker 7 (01:00:59):
About where are going.
Speaker 12 (01:01:01):
We are the Canadian Football League, playing a Canadian game,
and we are going to grow and continue to be great.
Speaker 3 (01:01:08):
And I keep saying one more thing, but what Nathan
had to say, and we can disagree with what he
had to say, but the passion that he showed that
helped the attention that your league got this week.
Speaker 12 (01:01:23):
Absolutely passion drives our entire business and a lot of
the fans have been very passionate. You know they're reaching
out to me, both positive and negative. We're just questioning
or online. That comes from a date, really a place
of love for what we do, and boy, that that
is something we need to cherish start.
Speaker 3 (01:01:41):
It's been great. We could go on and on. Thanks
so much, my pleasure.
Speaker 7 (01:01:45):
Thanks guys.
Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
You bet looking good. Stewart Johnson fifteenth and current commissioner
of Canadian Football League. He talked about analytics. I hadn't
heard that stat before that eighty percent of the touchdowns
in the Canadian Football League with the goalposts in the
way are to the sides. So that helps his argument
if you want, if you want to call it absolutely.
Speaker 1 (01:02:06):
They didn't wake up one morning and just say let's
do this. You got to put an incredible amount of research.
The analytics are important, Donnie. This took time to come
up with this, not just overnight. Good to hear.
Speaker 3 (01:02:17):
He had a civil discussion with the Yes with Nathan
work DTG coming up bottom of the hour. Up next
to update the poll question Donnie Dolley team.
Speaker 1 (01:02:26):
Let check Donnie and Dolly.
Speaker 9 (01:02:29):

Speaker 3 (01:03:12):
Okay, So before we get to the waddling dog poll question,
when is this show telling me about Zadana Chara?
Speaker 1 (01:03:17):
Who?
Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
I'm getting the idea that, like Steve Nash earlier this week,
Zadana Chara has become one of my idols.
Speaker 4 (01:03:24):
This is another level though, because moments ago with the
Boston Bruins announced, Big Z is back and his title
is Hockey Operations Advisor, Advisor and mentor mentor Mentor.
Speaker 3 (01:03:38):
Steve Nash an advisory role with the Phoenix Suns.
Speaker 1 (01:03:42):
When I leave the show, can I you when you retire,
You're going to become an advisor and a mentor And
on this show I will do absolutely no advising whatsoever,
but I'll have that title and maybe get paid. Yeah,
so there you go. Oh that's just outstanding.
Speaker 3 (01:03:57):
I think that's more impressive than what he did on
the ice to get that job.
Speaker 4 (01:04:01):
I'm just curious, like, is it a salary or does
he get paid?
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
Well? Who die? Like?
Speaker 4 (01:04:07):
Does he get paid based on advice given? You know,
like he goes in the locker room guys today, we
really need to pick it up.
Speaker 1 (01:04:14):
The advice doesn't work out?
Speaker 4 (01:04:16):
And then does he fill out a time sheet? Like
I just gave him advice?
Speaker 1 (01:04:19):
I mean, Ryan's more from management in the GM. I'm
just kidding. I'm telling you this is getting it. He's
not gonna talk to what is an what isn't dale
talent here? An advisor? Senior advisor? Right?
Speaker 4 (01:04:35):
Yeah, man, sorry, I forgot Yeah, that's a whole other
p What do you think of that deal?
Speaker 1 (01:04:42):
Yeah, it's good boom time sheet. He's living in Florida
and he's an advisor of Vancouver. Yeah see him. I mean,
you're sitting on the beach getting a call from the Canucks.
You know, what do you think about the power play
cocktail speedo? Is that waves in the background I'm hearing
what was all? Of course? Yeah? Exactly, Okay, we've exhausted this.
Speaker 3 (01:05:02):
Let's get to the Wadling Dog poll question experience one
of Victoria's iconic destinations, sleep sip, stock up, all in one,
legendary spot. Come sit and stay at the dog today.
Impress the performances turned in last night in Abbotsford by
Mancini and Thelander.
Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
Vlander Vlander Ryan. Get her up the Wadling Dog got
poll question, which are these three young defensemen most likely
to open the season of Vancouver deep deep peady? This
is I'm I'm surprised because sixty three percent, but because
of what Mancini's done in the last two games, He's
been great thirty eight last year. Don have you seen
(01:05:42):
what Mancini's done this week? Are you kidding me? And
Vlander Velander coming in the end four percent?
Speaker 3 (01:05:50):
But no, but last season at the NHL level, not
preseason game.
Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
I know that.
Speaker 3 (01:05:56):
Elias Pederson, I don't even know what are we going
with is? I don't even is it a soft hey?
Is it a soft pet?
Speaker 1 (01:06:03):
You don't get a job this year done based on
last year? You got to earn it.
Speaker 4 (01:06:08):
To Rick's point, though, Dunny, with how often our poll
questions are completely recency bias.
Speaker 1 (01:06:14):
I'm a little surprised. Man, scene, he's not the winner relatively.
Speaker 3 (01:06:17):
He's Beaty's success if you want to call it, d
is fairly recent.
Speaker 1 (01:06:22):
Sure, sure, but that was last year.
Speaker 4 (01:06:24):
This is the new kid, Brandon Koots right now. Everyone, Oh,
it's bradycause he's the new flavor of the week.
Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
That's it. That's it, that's it, that's it.
Speaker 3 (01:06:38):
Oh yeah, let's update the situation. Canucks beat Calgary at
last night three. I think I had more to say
to that. Canucks beat Calgary. By the way, Stuart Johnson
is very impressive.
Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
Oh he's a good guys. Look at that. He's uh,
he's gonna do good things for the CFL. I think
he already has. And the fact he reached out to
Nathan Rourke already, that's pretty good. Three to one.
Speaker 3 (01:06:59):
Connucks are a Calgary last night in Abas for their
second preseason game.
Speaker 1 (01:07:03):
They play Seattle at Rodgers Arena tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:07:07):
Lots of positive news. A heatl was good a man sini.
We mentioned Vanlander Thatcher Demco stopped eleven or twelve shots
left after two periods. On the negative side, of Nils
Hoglander lower body injury was seen in a walking boot
after the game. We're gonna look number twenty one in
your program.
Speaker 1 (01:07:24):
Here.
Speaker 3 (01:07:25):
This is his last shift early second period. I took
a couple of hits there, actually initiated the second hit here.
I scored the game's first goal five minutes into the
first period, playing with the aforementioned Philip a heel. But
the night ends for him in a negative way.
Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
First hits where it happened, and you worry about high
ankle spring dawn, You really do worry about it. We
don't know what it is. They're still evaluating this morning,
but boy, you lose this guy and the Canucks forward
group isn't super deep to begin with. Yeah, you might
have to go out and call Jack Roslovich's agent and say, hey,
you know he's available. He's free, he doesn't cost you anything.
(01:08:02):
Canucks have three point two million in cap space. They
could get him.
Speaker 3 (01:08:05):
Meanwhile, switching gears tough turn. We'll take it, Blue Jays man.
Why is it that I enjoy and it's not. Why
do you enjoy it? It's nothing to do with the team.
It has to do.
Speaker 1 (01:08:16):
Like, did you watch like any of the TSN and
Sportsnet coverage after that game was over? Did what was
wrong with it?
Speaker 3 (01:08:25):
They were crying it was so fun to watch. Yeah,
well this is nothing against it. I enjoy watching the
Blue Jays, but it's just the coverage is just so overwhelming.
And anyway, they lost seven to one to the Red Sox.
They imploded and Vladdy got thrown out, Kirk was slamming
his helmet, Sures gave up.
Speaker 1 (01:08:46):
Three in the first in the doug out good and
you know they missed bobad I mean, give me a break. Yeah,
people almost forget that.
Speaker 3 (01:08:52):
Well, they've had trouble offensively recently, and obviously it has
a lot to do not having Cameron. So the Yankees
a crushed the White Sox eight one September sixteenth, not
that long ago. Blue Jay's up five games on the Yankees.
They're now even atop the American League East with four
games left. Meanwhile, the Mariners was sixteen of seventeen. They
(01:09:16):
clinched the American League West nine to over Colorado. This
cal Riley hits two homers last night, homers fifty nine
and sixty. And I'm not going to go through all
the marks that he's hitting here, but the records that
he's equalling or besting you're bringing up the names Ken
(01:09:40):
Griffy Junior, Mickey Mantel, Hank Greenberg, Sammy Sosa.
Speaker 1 (01:09:45):
What a season this guy is having.
Speaker 3 (01:09:47):
He owns I know people love the Seahawks down there,
but he owns.
Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
Seattle right now. Oh absolutely, he does this. Who wasn't
watching this last night and going wow, you no, that
was a white cap Canucks, Blue Jays. It was a
great night to be a sports just.
Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
A great time of year sports fan. But good on him.
And we talked about it. What are we looking at that?
Here the gentleman that got the sixtieth?
Speaker 1 (01:10:11):
Oh yeah, and he.
Speaker 3 (01:10:13):
Look, hey, you you people out there are sports fans.
This gentleman catches what was it, the sixtieth olibron, this sixty?
Speaker 1 (01:10:20):
Did he not give the ball to a kid?
Speaker 4 (01:10:21):
Yeah, there's the kid there and I'm assuming dad taken
out by Mariner's security, not.
Speaker 3 (01:10:27):
Related to the person who caught No, So then he
got like a massive cheer in the section.
Speaker 4 (01:10:31):

what he was doing. There, do you give it away?
He just did what's good? Yeah, you think what's good?
What do you think he thought?
Speaker 3 (01:10:51):

(01:12:36):
This guy, this guy esper it was one one last night.
I won one last night, but they they were on

their injuries done. And these guys got heart and soul

league in scoring for three consecutive seasons from seventy four
to seventies. Buffalo Braves. Oh, come on, Bob McAdoo, that's it,
Bob mcadud. You wouldn't have got Bob McAdoo. No. He
was on the Lakers teams in the eighties as a
coming off the bench, and he didn't like it.
Speaker 3 (01:18:10):
Buffalo Braves went on to become the Clippers. Yeah, the
San Diego Clippers, then the LA Clippers, and their point
guard was Ernie di gregorio. For whatever reason, we got
a lot of Buffalo Braves games in Vancouver back of
the day.
Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
Wow, eighty to eighty five NBA titles came off the bench.
I remember me. He was great. All right, This retired

for Best Supporting Actress Actress for her role in Chicago.
Her husband has the same birthday. Yeah, don't say that, because.
Speaker 4 (01:19:33):
Catherine Zita John everybody Michael Michael Douglas.
Speaker 1 (01:19:38):
Screw that. Michael Douglas was next. Okay, sorry, Donnie, unbelievable. Well,
isn't that weird that they they got the same birthday?
I had some good so I love Michael Douglas.
Speaker 4 (01:19:50):
So who gets the lesser party? You think, Well, they
celebrate together. Yeah, but let's be honest, somebody's gonna buy
each other a cake.
Speaker 3 (01:19:57):
I think Michael would have the bigger party, just because
he's probably pretty happy to be alive.
Speaker 1 (01:20:02):
We have giant cancer, that's right, right? Yeah? Yeah, I
remember that.
Speaker 3 (01:20:06):
Yeah, Okay, they hit the movie? Was it Behind the Candelabra?
Speaker 1 (01:20:12):
Above it? Why are you looking to me? He played Liberaci? Yeah,

Lee from eighty sixth Borough from Sanburg. Yeah, from bon Jovi.
She likes. She liked your rock and roll stars. She
likes bon Jovi. Have you remember say bon Jovi? See
you got me messed up? Bon Jovi? You said bon Jovi? Jo,
Oh it's the v it's throwing me off. Oh my goodness.
(01:21:19):
Bon Jovi is awesome. Bad medicine their best song. But anyways,

Barbara Walters wow twenty twenty or Vaulters. She was great.
(01:21:43):
She was a pioneer and we all loved her. No, okay,
she was watching her growing up.
Speaker 4 (01:21:49):
She was on the view too at the end there too,
when she's like, uh known as like one of the
best interviewers.
Speaker 1 (01:21:55):
Interviewers, well, and she got all the big names, the
US presidents, everybody.
Speaker 3 (01:21:59):
Oh yeah, Meanwhile, is it just me?
Speaker 1 (01:22:04):
Is coming up?
Speaker 3 (01:22:04):
Annie McIntyre Annie McIntyre, eighty years old, guitarist, songwriter for
the Scottish group that's going to play so July seventy four.
This is fabulous and the album AWB this is the
average white band and pick up the pieces a check
platforms and Puka shells on a BC Thursday morning.
Speaker 1 (01:22:26):
Is it just me? Next? Is it just me? Rock
and roll? All right? Here, we're going Black seats look
(01:22:46):
better when the rink has empty seats. It's harder to
see empty seats versus bright colored seats. That's marketing with
a soft am Dennis and Pitt Meadows.
Speaker 3 (01:22:57):
I don't think Francesco wants to see what it looks
like with empty seats.
Speaker 1 (01:23:00):
Well, he's pretty dam in the game, you know, because
this city and these fans keep packing that rink despite
the lack of success. Is it just me?
Speaker 3 (01:23:10):
Callen Langley? But listening to Ryan and his complaint generation
guests to be so much. They complain about seats one day,
then when they get them, they complain about the price
of tickets the next day. I would sit on a
hay bale. Think if tickets were fifty one hundred bucks cheaper.
Speaker 1 (01:23:27):
Cal in Langley? Thank you Kell? And you know what
these kids they whind about stuff In the eighties, we
didn't complain. I sat in the end zone at Empire
stating the rain was coming down. We never complained on
It's not wasn't in our nature. What do you got?
Is it just me? But the celebration the Blue Jays
had when they clinched a playoff earth going to be
(01:23:49):
the only celebration this year? Is it? Waddling? Great stay
and pop of food is awesome? There? So this is
Stebo and pitt Meadows.
Speaker 3 (01:23:57):
Yeah, we talked about their celebration. They're probably they'll probably
celebrate again when they clinched the division.
Speaker 1 (01:24:04):
Why that might not happen. Yeah, that's that's the point
I think they were making. Is it just me? John
from Ladnir. But listening to the commissioner of the CFL,
what a breath of fresh air, the passion this man
shows for the game. Good choice, Canadian Football League. We're
talking with Stuart Johnson, who was our guest moments ago.
(01:24:25):
I loved it. I think he's great for the league.
I think he knows across well. It comes across really well. Uh,
Dave and lake Couch And is it just me? But
would it be so terrible if both Mancini and DP
he made the team over Forbert? Let me say this,
Forberd's got one year left on his deal. Towards the
end of the season last year, Forbert was the best
penalty killer in the National Hockey League. He is back
(01:24:48):
for a reason, the best penalty he was talking about statistics,
Statistically v statistically don Forbert was one of the best
p K guys down the stretch. There's a reason he
was brought back. There's a reason he's going to start
on opening night. He's not going anywhere. Such an underrated
part of the game to this day. Is it just me?
Speaker 3 (01:25:11):
This is unsigned but it's thoughtful?
Speaker 1 (01:25:13):
Is it just me?
Speaker 3 (01:25:14):
Or are the Cannocks showcasing the lander?
Speaker 1 (01:25:16):
No? I can tell you right now that there's two
guys they're not going to move young guys. Coots is one,
wi Lander's two. And I'll tell you why, Uh think
about because trading Wade think no no Donny is a
good idea. Donny Dunny. When Myers leaves in two or
three years, who's going to take a spot? If everything
goes according to Brighten Wilander v Lander of the Lander. Okay,
(01:25:40):
go uh Rick and Ryan should stay on the air
all summer to complain about the seats. Get it out
of your system, Lean Kamloops. I don't complain about the seats.
I have to talk about him because Henderson complains about
him all the time. Martin and north Burnaby. Is it
just me?
Speaker 3 (01:25:55):
But if I cut cal Rawley's sixtieth home run ball,
I wouldn't even give the ball to my own kid,
let alone a stranger. Great submission from Martin In.
Speaker 1 (01:26:04):
All that is? That is? And I what did I say?
Very few people would have coughed up that ball like
that guy did. He's just a nice human being, a
good person, and good on him and that kid should
be sending him. That guy a Christmas card.
Speaker 3 (01:26:18):
I can't remember things very well birthday sixty six, So
maybe that that's why.
Speaker 1 (01:26:23):
But the shot of the woman was it in that
that was in Washington just recently. No, no Philly getting
at the Philly Philadelphia Philadelphia, Well.
Speaker 3 (01:26:32):
Wasn't in Philadelphia, was in Miami. But they were both
Phillies fans. And the guy won the battle for the
ball wasn't even a battle that he went crazy on
him and he was nice enough to give her the ball.
And man did that blow up?
Speaker 1 (01:26:45):
Yeah? And that was Philadelphia Phillies game. And I saw
it was over the summer. Donny, you're right, Yeah, you're
one hundred percent right.
Speaker 3 (01:26:51):
Okay, we got to take a break. We'll wrap up
the show and the poll question next. Donnie telling the team.
Speaker 1 (01:26:54):

I think Donnie sixty three. You keep saying that I
have to look at Mancini what he's done. And Tom Blander, Wow,
he's nowhere to be seen. Four percent. Not much confidence
in Valander, who had a great game last night. Everybody
come on and looks like he's going to be playing
again tomorrow. Yeah, he's gonna be. He's he's on the
ice with the first green.

and attention of everybody in Canada and good on them.
So this is a Charlie in Vancouver. I took the
(01:28:49):
family to Canada's first pool game in York. So look,
we took the train there. Canada's fly half Taylor pell
Perry was kind enough to snap a pick with that.
He does have a Donnion Dolly hat, but not with
him at this time. But what a beautiful picture Charlie
and Vancouver supporting the Canadian women's rugby team overseas. When's

countries in the Vancouver area.
Speaker 1 (01:29:37):
Is it just me?
Speaker 3 (01:29:37):
Or do you think if the Canucks had kept Zadoroff
last year, he may have kept p D and JT
in control. And we've heard stories anklings that Zadoroff did
a pretty good job of that. When he was a
Canuckdoroff was a no nonsense guy.
Speaker 1 (01:29:55):
You didn't get away with anything with him. I wouldn't
mess with him. I wouldn't mess with him. He did
that is We do have another picture. It's at the
bottom of prep page if you want to go down there.
