(02:14):
guest when he is um. Whenhe lives in, We're gonna bring him
in as a friend. Of oursthat we've known for many years, first
introducing ourselves to him at the gethis brig Battlefield Bash a few years back.
And this guy is an author,a producer, an investigator. UM.
(02:38):
He's done books on everything from hisvery first book, which was what
was it called West Virginia Bigfoot andhe's in He's done books on the paranormal
uphoology. UM. He's been onsee History Channel, Travel Channel, Discovery
(03:00):
Channel, Destination America, you nameit. And he's a good friend of
ours. He wasn't able to makethe bash this year, but that's because
you said he had some other verycool opportunities going on, and so we
hope that is working out for him, and it's going to be good to
talk to him. We're talking aboutnone other than Dave Spinks. Give you
(03:27):
a little rundown on her, buddy, Dave says, excuse me. Dave
has been investigating and researching the supernaturalsince nineteen eighty six due to several experiences
he had as a young man.Since that time, he has conducted several
hundred investigations in the US as wellas Europe. He served in the US
Air Force for eight years and wenton to work as a federal law enforcement
(03:50):
officer, retiring in twenty eleven.During his paranormal investigations, he has expense
experienced many hair raising and unnerving things, as one might imagine. Having investigated
strange phenomena for over thirty years,he has built many friendships with one of
some of the most well known investigatorsin the field today. He has been
seen on various television shows to includeExpedition X, Terror in the Woods,
(04:12):
Paranormal nine one one, The Unexplained, in Search of Monsters, and These
Woods Are Haunted, just to namea few. He was also featured in
the film Flatwood Monster, A Legacyof fear by small town Monsters. He
has been a featured guest on hundredsof paranormals Excuse me themed radio shows and
podcasts, and he is often afeatured guest speaker at paranormal conferences around the
(04:39):
country. He's also an author ontopics that include cryptids, hauntings, and
ufology, of releasing his first book, West Virginia Bigfoot in twenty eighteen.
So yeah, he's done it all, you know, he's has been there
and done at all. Welcome in, John and Deborah, so open to
(05:00):
get him over to the Hoover Housesooner rather than later. But yeah,
he's got he's got experienced in prettymuch anything you can ask for, supernaturally.
I know that he had done umuh work at Willow's Weep, which
(05:23):
if you're not familiar with willows Weep, I can give you a rundown on
that as well. Um willows Weep. Let's see, here's the book,
see I find is there? There'stheir Facebook page willows Weep um. As
(05:57):
of July seventeenth, and I haven'tever seen this before, but Willow's Wheep
no longer will be available for anyoneto investigate, as the house is just
too negative in nature, and ontop of that, it needs major repairs.
Over the next few years, itsays, I'll be finished up my
projects there with a select few people, and then the house will be removed
(06:19):
from the property and the land blessedand cleansed, hopefully removing the negative energy
associated with it. So yeah, that's that place. I've seen lots of
(06:43):
lots of stuff on willows Weep andit's built in the eighteen hundreds. This
haunted house is unlike any other thatyou ever see or experience. It's built
in the shape of a cross thatfaces east. The house sits at a
crossroads, and it has numerous ghastlydeaths that have occurred with in its walls.
The land itself has a definite negativenative excuse me, Native American connection
(07:05):
in that there was a major battlevery near where the house sits today.
There are ancient burial sites around thearea, and two rivers converge in the
tiny town of Cayuga, Indiana, very near the house. Strange Strange book
was found buried between the old floorand the more modern floor during a remodel
that deals in necromancy and other occultpractices. On top of all of that,
(07:27):
a former owner declared that the houseis very dangerous and she feels that
it tried to kill her and herhusband on numerous occasions. Fearing for their
lives, they moved far away fromthe house and sold it to the current
owner, Dave Spinks. Welcome inLinda. Still yet, numerous paranormal investigators
claimed have been attacked in the house, and many have recorded EVPs, her
(07:48):
disembodied voices, witness shadow figures, observed light anomalies, and recorded poltergeist activity
on camera. Many others have reportedbeing attacked by unseen forces in the house,
and the new owner is currently conductingan over an over year long investigation
with hand picked investigators in order totry and figure out what is lurking in
the house that is known as willowsWeep. So you know, the investigator,
(08:15):
I mean naturally wants to go there, but I can absolutely understand how
you know, how he's He's shutit down. It's just way too negative.
Um, she Willow's Leap has Willow'sWheep has a story in horrific pass
with several recorded deaths within its walls. Um part of its story will be
(08:37):
revealed on the on the all newtelevision show Unexplained on History Channel, airing
July nineteen, twenty nineteen, atten pm. So you may still be
able to catch up catch that onreplay or stream it. Um called the
most evil on Haunted house in NorthAmerica by show host William Shatner. The
(08:58):
house is I want to contain malevolent, malevolent energies that have affected many who
have dared enterest confines does will Weepharbor evil forces? Has a bridge been
created in the house that allows enteritiesand spirits to move between the world the
living and the dead. There's stillmany unanswered questions that surround the house known
as Willows Weep, So I meanyou can, you can do the research
(09:22):
for yourself. It's obviously a realnasty place, and I wouldn't advise anyone
who is not experienced or knows howto defend themselves spiritually take a shot at
it. I mean, obviously youcan. Now you shut it down to
(09:45):
outside investigations, so it's probably forthe best welcome and collect So I don't
know if Jim and our guest Iforgot to set the clocks back or if
they set them forward by accent orwhatever, but um, you know,
(10:07):
we're waiting for both of them tojoin in, so let's see if we
can't the hold of them. Okay, Jim says he is coming on,
(11:00):
so see how long that takes them. See. Well, thanks for sharing
(11:22):
this sbringing. We appreciate it.Facebook user, Hello Amy count Amy column.
How are you. I'm doing justfine, Thank you. And while
we're waiting, once Jim comes in, we can he'll be able to update
(11:50):
you on everything that we've been upto and what we've got on going on,
and what's going on over at theHoover House while I try and get
hold of our guests. It hasbeen a long time. Amy. I'm
glad you were able to make itback. Jim, I didn't see you
(12:39):
in the waiting area. Well, this is not going as I planned.
(13:00):
M h m hmm trance and thatkahm uh um window. Life is topsy
(13:48):
turvy right now. Um, thewife and I are looking for a home
and uh, it's just been verycrazy right now. There's Jim. Hey
Pardner, how are you doing goodgood. I'm trying to get a hold
of Dave Spink, So if youcould keep the listeners occupied and let them
(14:13):
know what's going on with the HooverHouse and with us and everything. Yeah,
I'm glad too. Hello everyone downhere in Florida. We're in an
area just south of daytona beach calledNew Samyrna Beach and some really neat stuff
going on down here. We areabout a half an hour's drive from Cassadega
(14:41):
Spiritual Colony. I'm gonna try toget over there Monday or Tuesday. And
for anybody who's familiar with lily Dale, Cassadega was created from lily Dale.
There were a number of people whowant to get out of cold in New
York, so they came to Floridaand created Lily Cassadegas. So it's full
(15:07):
of spiritualists and psychic readers, tarotcards. You can a number of buildings
and there's a whole lot going onthere. There's a very neat hotel there
that has accommodations and one can staythere oftentimes. Now in these spiritual colonies,
(15:31):
you never refer to the spirits asghosts, just as a word of
warning. They're always referred to asspirits and their take, their take on
those energies is quite different in severalways, and I think they're probably more
on points. So anyhow, Cassadegashere they actually have now which hopefully I'll
(15:58):
get into. The actually have likea museum and stuff now with a lot
of haunted articles. And also inthat same area, maybe fifteen twenty minutes
away from Cassadaga and where I'm at, there's also a neat town called the
Land. The Land, Florida, and the downtown district is undergoing a lot
(16:21):
of neat renovation. And we wereover there the other day and in the
antique store, three story antiques store, when the lady was really nice come
out. I was telling me allabout the spirits on the property, and
she had me checking out a coupleof things, and I was picking up
on a bunch of the energy. So the people are very warm and inviting,
(16:45):
and they have in the land it'scalled the Haunted Antique Store, and
they were actually hosting a ghost walkthrough the land. The land the major
old court systems there, the oldjail house, number of buildings and stuff,
so there's there's a lot to attractpeople who were into spirits in them
(17:11):
into that thing. So we happenedto do a session last night. We
had friends down here who have donea session with table tipping with us before
at the the old lookout house, and we've been down here search and trying
to find this table with energy. So far we haven't been successful there,
(17:36):
but anyhow, so they had familyand all over and we had a real
active session last night. I'm alittle trash today from it. Actually weren't
able to get much sleep last night, but we had I guess we had
about six or seven spirits that camethrough various intensities, and a couple animal
(17:59):
spirits and everything else. So thatwas a pretty good, pretty good session
and a matter of fact, itmight have a smaller session over here this
seven. And when we finished thebroadcast, how did the things go with
the chili at the Hoover House yesterday? Um? Actually, I think Jenny's
um pizza chili one. Ah,so she beat Pam by just a few
(18:26):
points. And Pam had done awhite chicken chili. Um. Steve I
think came in last. Actually, and uh I got the I was the
winner because I got to eat allof them. Hey che And then I
think this weekend coming up on Saturday, we have a civil war event with
(18:49):
some um encampment guys involved with encampmentsand things like that. Am I not
white? I don't know. Yeah. I think she's got to post it
on the nineteen twelve Hoover House.Did Um? I don't think we've told
(19:11):
our I think yeah, no,this because this is rather recent news,
some really interesting news to report onwith the Hoover House. The town,
as we've often said, has beenvery receptive and open to us and helped
us in so many things, andthat continues this past week. In going
(19:34):
down to the public library, itturns out that the controlling factors on the
library and that are very much intothe paranormal, and they didn't even realize
Pam and Steve were, so they'reall talking and as a result of that,
(19:55):
she was saying that she thought thatWaynesboroe needed the return of the old
ghost walk. It's been about tenor twelve years since they had a ghost
walk, and the gentleman who ranit back then. By the way,
that's a bird in the office roomI'm in. I have a bird.
(20:15):
I'm not exactly what kind of birdthat is, but that's no one's being
tortured here. But anyhow, thelibrarian, you're telling Pam and Steve that
the town really needed the return ofthe ghost walk. Well, just so
happened as the man who ran thathad given us as materials and we've we
(20:41):
have been expanding on that and we'veeven had some interesting contacts there and we
hope that this upcoming spring we'll bebringing the ghost walk back into Waynesboro,
along with um sort of a historytour as well, which a lot of
the events connected with the underground Railroadand Waynesboro. Waynesboro was very active in
(21:07):
that period of our history. Soin following through on that, turns out
she mentioned that the library itself isactually quite haunted, and she has asked
us to do an investigation there andI guess determined on what we come up
with and everything else, very goodpossibility of starting to have some public investigations
(21:36):
at the public libraryan Waynesboro. Andthat building currently houses the original Grandfather Clark
that came from the Hoover House.Eleanor had given that to the town of
Waynesborough, and I guess that's whereit sort of wound up. It's still
operational, and I guess as longas we're going to be in control of
(22:03):
the Hoover House, that Grandfather Clock'sgoing to be on display back at the
Hoover House. Um. So that'ssort of neat. But um, we
you know, we've had two reallyinteresting investigations with the antique store in town
and that both of them were veryunique and very different from each other.
(22:29):
And then now it looks like wemight be adding the public library investigation depending
on what comes out there. Soso well, we should have a lot
going on there. That was andthat was pretty neat. Um. We're
getting ready for the holiday seasons. And to add to that, we had
(22:55):
done um about a week ago lastweekend we had done an investigation. Pam,
Pam and Steve hosted an investigation ofthe Gettysburg Orphanage and we had at
seven or eight different investigators from someof them from the New Jersey Paranormal and
(23:18):
a couple other free lancers and YEP. Had a really interesting night there with
the investigation. We took table withus for the first time and real quickly
Jenny and Bob and Steve had goneto the newer portion of the orphanage and
(23:45):
had hooked up with one of thechildren and it had also hooked up with
a number of the other children cameforward we later we later got the group
together and they have these large tablesthere in the dining area of the orphanage
(24:07):
if no one's been there, andin those tables, I mean they're good
ten feet nine feet long and probablyweigh over a hundred pounds. The benches
are separate, so there's no seatingattached to the table. And we all
got at the tables, about twelveof us, and we were able to
(24:30):
get the table to move, moveback and forth and even get a little
sort of angulated, so that waspretty exciting. The group from Jersey was
down in the pits area and actuallywitnessed the courting to them. It was
about five and a half six footchatow figure that walked about the area and
(24:56):
they got a number of pictures andthey came up very e sighted about that.
And then later we were able todo a session in the basement with
the table and hooked up with thedoctor Born was his name, who basically
(25:17):
took care of the medical needs forthe children along the way. We don't
really have a good record as tothe extents of nature of doctor Born and
working with the woman who is wantingthe orphanage. And so you know,
those children were so badly mistreated, actually even tortured putting chains in the basement.
(25:45):
They were put in buckets of barrelsof water and left in the water
for a day or two. Itends sort of suspended. There's a lot
of hideous things done to the childrenas a form of discipline, just plane
punishment and just sadistic nature. Sowith all of that, doctor Borne we
(26:12):
think was at the very least complicitat times. I don't know if he
really initiated everything. But doctor Bornewas a native to Waynesborough. He grew
up and was raised there in town, and his house still stands. And
he went to Philadelphia for medical schooland then came back to practice at Gettersburg.
(26:37):
So we hooked up with doctor Borne'sspirit. He had not crossed over,
and you know, he was ratherrepentant about his actions, though he
wasn't specific on anything, but wehad hooked up with him. But around
(27:02):
about way, what I'm getting tois, in all of this, we
had about fifteen children from the orphanagewho decided they wanted to come back with
us for the holidays, for Thanksgivingand Christmas to the Hoover House. And
they did, and the next daymy sister was doing a session there and
(27:25):
they got a bunch of the children'snames. And we have promised to put
a child's tree, child's Christmas treein one of the parlors for the children
to enjoy. So we'll keep youup updated with any further communication with the
children and things we might do forthem for Christmas. Is the Hoover House
(27:49):
is pretty loaded up with spirits rightnow for the holidays, and I don't
know much what else will come throughthat. I'm another incident I'm going to
relate. This was a sort ofinteresting. This is, within the last
month or so, we had avisitor spending the night one night, and
(28:11):
he was a gentleman who had somebusiness in town, and so he got
a him. Earlier in the day, Pam had discovered in the sort of
in the rafter or some of theus up there in one of the bedrooms
a pair of white shoes. Theshoes dated back to the twenties thirties,
(28:37):
and she had found him up thereand had taken the shoes down and had
shown Steve. Well, Steve wasa little suspicious about why a pair of
shoes would be up in the rafters. So anyhow he was doing some checking
and trying to find what information hecould get on that. When this gentleman
(29:02):
had booked the room happened to bethe room where the shoes had been found.
That night, Pam and Steve werewoken by the cries of this man
screaming to get off me, getoff me. So they went to the
door and knocked on the door. The door has been locked, and the
(29:22):
man was The man came to thedoor, didn't open it, but upon
inquiring, he said he was okay. So that so anyhow, I guess
he got back to sleep and therewas no further goings on. But in
the morning he awoke to find offof his clothes strewn about the room,
(29:47):
claiming that his wallet, while nothinghad been removed from it, his wallet
had actually been transferred to another pairof pants and how in parting that next
morning he told Pam, he says, you might have ghosts in this house,
(30:07):
to which we got a pretty goodchuckle. We hadn't discussed any of
that with him. But needless tosay, the shoes were returned where they
were found, and I'm happy tosay that we've had note further incidents of
the spirits bothering anybody in that room. So, and that's been pretty filled
(30:32):
up the last couple of weeks. So I would say, if you're in
a house and you find a pairof shoes hidden up in the rafters or
whatever, it might be best justto leave the shoes there. There's evidently
it's um. I guess it's anold time remedy for keeping the spirits at
(30:52):
bay. Have you heard some dayI have. We're gonna have to reschedule
with him on for he's got astick kid. Um. He thinks his
kid might have COVID. Oh,yeah, so we're gonna reschedule with him.
He said he he wants to doa full show and he wants to
do a good show, so ratherthan come in late and have to get
(31:14):
cut off and running back and forth, we're just reschedule with him. So
okay, well we'll um, yeah, that's that's fine. Yeah. Um,
Now I do know the next showI believe is what the twenty eight?
Is that what it is or thetwenty seven? And I believe,
(31:40):
if I'm not mistaken, we haveyou see now it's a twenty Yeah,
it's a twenty eighth. And ifI'm not mistaken, let me confirm.
(32:00):
Um, I think we have aspecial guest that week as well, and
I think it is uh Sam BaltrucisYes. Yeah, so yeah, that's
uh, that's gonna be a goodone. He just finished up his documentary
(32:20):
they did up with the Lizzie Bordenbed and Breakfast with um uh Dave Schrader
and and and uh oh what's hisname? Not not on Austin, but
it's another one, um Chris Flemingum, and which I actually watched on
Prime. It was fantastic. Um. He is a very gifted um medium
(32:45):
um Chandler and uh, I meanthat one. That one was frightening.
Actually to check that associates on Amazonprine. Yes, yes, you remember
what the name is. I'm gonnalook it up for you right now.
Uh. Um see it is calledthe Curse of Lizzie Borden Curse of Lizzie
(33:24):
Boy. Yes, and it isfantastic. Um. Like I said,
they had some very cool stuff goingon, and they did an automatic writing
session and Dave Schrader was the onethat the spirit chose to use, and
(33:49):
he had he was very skeptical andhad never experienced any of that, and
he was really freaked out. Likeyou know, you can see his arm
going and rest on his farm andit's just his arm right, He's visibly
shaken and scared, and you know, I don't like this. I don't
like this. So um, yeah, it was. It was. It
(34:10):
was pretty spectacular. So um,I'll definitely have to check that out.
Oh yeah, I was telling everybodythat I've been very busy, um searching
(34:32):
for a home you know, fromfrom Melissa and I and the kids,
And we were supposed to go seeone this past Saturday, and a half
hour before we went to our viewing. Um, it got bought out from
Wondrous and so we're actually looking ata few of them over in Waynesboro.
Really, yeah that from the pictureswe can see and what we I've read
(35:00):
about the buildings, the price seemsright and everything. So um the real
estate agent that I was working with, it took me twenty five thirty minutes
to even get a hold of himtoday and when I finally did, he
wasn't available, So I told himnever mind, and I got a hold
(35:20):
of Nicole. Actually, okay,it was the obviously, as you know,
as the real estate we've worked withto get the Hoover house, and
gave her the addresses of the placesthat we're looking at, and I'm going
to arrange viewing with her instead. She seems like she couldn't do it today
because she was at a doing apublic showing of a house, so she
(35:45):
was all booked up today. Butobviously it's someone we know and trust,
so um, you know, we'llsee we get I had, by the
way, I had, I hadJames table with us or with us,
and yeah, he was great lastnight. We had I guess better part
(36:08):
of I guess the almost two hourtwo hour session and we had you know,
all the kids were there, Jamie, Timmy and Jennifer and her husband
and stuff. So we had thegrandfather. Luke's dad came through and there
(36:34):
was a bunch of stuff that I'vegot to follow up on that came through.
I'm supposed to go down to thecrematorium this week and have a private
session with June's dad. He wasHe showed up and was very upset by
a lot of stuff going on anddidn't want to do anything there with the
(36:58):
kids and all. You know,he wanted to do some one on one
stuff. So and then um,Jamie's husband, his dad showed up and
I don't know exactly what the relationshipwas there, but it wasn't good that
That was a tough one. Thatwas really tough. So you know,
(37:21):
when you're when you're connecting up withthese spirits, you never know what's going
to be coming up the road. It's not all it's not all warm and
fuzzy. We had a couple petscome through and that was all cool and
right right. Um, I thinkMike and Jennifer they had an old friend
come through. You're hoping to hookup with a good friend of theirs that
(37:45):
died suddenly a couple of years agounder some mysterious circumstances, maybe to get
some breakthrough. But today anywhere atthe firing range. They got a really
nice firing range light here, andso Mike took us over and we he
does his own packing on his shells, and he's got one of those devices
(38:08):
you fire through when it tells youthe feet for second the shell is going,
and so he could you know,I guess the sort of you can
see packing yourself to shells do tendto wun a little slower than manufactured mams.
But actually had he had pie platesand a little colored dot in the
(38:32):
middle, and I actually hit onebull's eye. I also missed a bunch
too, but once I got it, once I got my eyes were established,
that did okay. But you haveyeah, yeah, um. Holly
said, that's snowing up and camekeep it all up there. And now
(39:00):
it was chilly down here. Ithink it probably stayed in the sixties.
I don't think it. I don'tthink it hit seventy today. Now the
other day it was like eighty. It hit so, you know, but
it's they've got some real cool weatherdown here right before we got down here,
(39:20):
and I'm gonna plan on going outjust to ground myself. I want
to get out in the ocean withmy shoes off and get totally ground.
So work work at Dad. Youdid get a package today. I didn't
see it from I didn't open it. But yeah, just so there's nothing,
(39:43):
there's nothing urgent. You know.We got a bunch of then Bonds
ordered some of her arts and crafting. She was able to get. There's
long pine needles she had bought becausethey evidently come from this area. So
we were able to find news andwell, you did really just white in
(40:04):
this area. You could be reallyfilled up with that the land area,
with the hum, with all thespirit energies and stuff. Matter of fact,
we were over at Michel Jenny's housetonight. She made a fabulous dinner
force and uh, when I walkedin here, I think we're going to
(40:25):
have a lot of stuff waiting forus because I was picking up the energies
when I was coming in. Ohand sorry about the ravens. I don't
know what the hell that was. That was Theater of the Absurd. And
then you saw today washing didn't beatTampa Bay Yeah, destroyed Cleveland, destroy
(40:51):
Cleveland. Pittsburgh tied the Lions. Now they didn't have rothisburger there, right
he was, But yeah, butthat that actually helped us. Yeah.
Um, wanted to get your opinion. Um, you know, I've long
(41:15):
said that the equipment we used aninvestigation is mostly for my purpose, Like
I need it to understand what's goingon, where it's going on, how
things are having that type of stuff. Um, as you find that your
(41:39):
senses are becoming more in tune withthe spirit of world, you think your
opinion on the use of all theequipment has changed it all? Well,
I think the big thing is thereally nice thing about a lot out of
(42:00):
this equipment is basically can be usedto certify what you're experiencing. That's and
so when in a in a wayit's sort of a means of self testing,
which is nice. The other thingis, let's face it, you
can go down there. I meanyou, I'm sure you can see an
(42:22):
entity or whatever, but you can'tconvey that to someone else. So,
you know, matter of fact,it was into I got some of these,
you know, the cat balls, and last night while we were doing
the table session, I had acouple spread around and sure enough, one
(42:42):
time when the action is pretty heavyin that cat balls wall going off and
actually walling around on the floor andthere was you know, nobody had touched
him or anything. So that wasthat was interesting. I see Linda Bird,
and I hope Linda had some surgerythis week. I had a cataract
(43:04):
surgery, so I hope she's seeingagain and feeling back to snuff. But
yeah, so you know, Imean, well, you know yourself,
we sort of we've got a lotof equipment we never really use. If
we had a couple more people,we probably would. Yeah, you know,
(43:25):
we're sort of with a limited numberof hands. We sort of grab
this or grab that. Doesn't soI don't know that I've seen anything come
on the scene within the last yearor so that you just have to have.
We both enjoy the GS two andwe had we've had some meat experience
(43:50):
with that, but sometimes doesn't seemto hold up as well. You know,
it's typical that equipment gives us issueus stop. Yeah, um,
it's it's so, you know,I get so torn between it all because
(44:12):
you know, I'll have these flashesduring investigations where I'll feel very in tune
and connected with the energies of whateverlocation we're in, and a large part
of me wants to kind of justpush the equipment aside and just commune.
But at the same time, Idon't have enough free time to really develop
(44:40):
it at all, between work andthe kids, we're looking for a place
and stuff, So I always goback to my equipment. You know,
it's it's it's like a crutch now. Yeah, no, And that's why
I mean, there'll be time whenthere'll be a time when you'll have be
(45:02):
able to be more devoted. Imean, I've been trying to work on
picking up the remote viewing. Now. Way, look at this, there's
Stephen Lloyd, I don't know, just came in. We posted and Stephen,
(45:29):
I didn't think we've met. Imy father comes from Gibsonville, North
Carolina, and I still have acouple of relatives down there, and i'd
love to know. I'd love toknow some specifics if you could message me
or that or even um if youcare to message es here tonight, I'd
(45:51):
love to know some specifics. MGibsonville was a what called um textile town,
you know, with the with theclothing and all that, and uh
so you still have some of themills are operating on a minor basis,
(46:13):
but you still have a lot ofthat around. Um won't any really civil
war battles directly in the closest wouldbeat up near Durham. But EPI ink.
Huh, let's give that a look. That's wild. I really,
(46:40):
um, I assume I assume you'reliving there now. EPI Inc. Design
and Development of Engine and Gearbox Systemsand Components, and that's in Gibsonville.
Uh, let's see. Oh lookhere's Bobby. Yeah, hey, Bobby,
(47:07):
um down here? Um in uhCassadega Country right now. So hope,
hopefully today or tomorrow or the nextday, I should be spent a
little time up in Cassadega. Hopeeverything's going well with you. Let's see.
(47:36):
Um, it doesn't really say so. I don't know if this is
the right one or not. Imean, I guess it could be.
Say, have to check that out. That was the first hit that came
up when I googled EPI Inc.I'll have to see if I'm getting tuxket
(48:02):
to this guy. I'd be reallyinterested to see what's down there, because
because offhand my cousins at all. They really not filled me in on anything
specific going on in the town. Now that's down where um um Wayne and
uh yeah, Wayne and Brenda nearElon College, which is where pop went
(48:28):
to college, where your father wentto. Bobby's Bobby's in Cassidega. Huh,
look your dad, she said,Cassidagon. Now, huh. I
thought she was up in uh lilyDale, lily Dale. She may be
(48:52):
getting to the Warmer Plastics. Ohthat's not this place. Then I'll have
to give Wayne a cord and seewhat he seeing. That would be in
(49:17):
Oh do you know what? Yah, it's Engineers Plastics Inc. And that's
on Chase Street, Gibsonville. Huh. Now Bobby's saying she's in lily Dale,
(49:37):
which is white at Cassadegas, soit might be a Cassadega Street in
lily Dale. Right. Yeah,Now, I'm I'm actually Bobby. I'm
down in um Cassadega, Florida,in Belusia County. And while I'm down
here too, I'm also to throwwithout Tevy one. There's there's a local
(50:02):
urban legend here. I haven't seenit in any of the national books,
but it's called the Valusia Road, which and in Valusia County, there's a
rather extensive road. I think it'sabout fourteen miles in length, and it's
(50:22):
called Volco, standing for a ValusiaCounty Road. And most of it is
rather modern and has lighting and ispaved and it's a nice road. But
there's a section of it, abouta three mile section that's still dirt road,
doesn't have any lights, and it'swithin that section there's a small little
(50:49):
stretch where there's these two little bridges. The bridges are maybe twenty feet thirty
feet at most across and they're likeback to back and starting about four years
ago when I first became aware ofthe legend. It's one of those typical
Orbin legends where the kids um,the kids actually um. A matter of
(51:15):
fact, hold on one second,I'll be right that he watch this.
Look. Here is the Facebook pagefor Volco Road and this whole article want
Reddit about this person's encounter with theVolco Road, which, yep, you
(51:39):
go ahead with that, and I'llbe like that, okay, And according
to this Reddit article, first andforemost, I would like to apologize for
the length of the story. Um, let's see the legend that I speak
of involved an entity known as theVolco Road, which this particular road was,
(52:02):
like many others in Florida, wasabout ten miles of dirt covered by
a sunlight blocking countopyr trees. Totop it off, these particular trees were
a shawl of Spanish moss that generallystretched down to about eight feet off the
road. About halfway down the roadthere's an old bridge made of rusted steel,
in fact concrete. As the legendgoes, back in the early days
(52:22):
of American sentiment, a woman waskidnapped and taken to the creek where the
bridge now stand. She was rapedrepeatedly by the gang of men who had
brought her there before being murdered anddismembered. The tail space that her spirit
now haunched the road, taking vengeanceon any males that they are traveled down
the road. And to make mattersworse, it just said that if you
(52:44):
stop in the middle of the bridgeat night, you can hear the woman's
tortured screens. Now, when Ilived there, a man a FAsMA box
and it came through real clear. Please invest the game. And the first
time I went there. When Ifirst went there, my em meters resolved
(53:14):
to charts. I mean the energiescoming through. There were some metal pipes
which obviously carried wires a couple offeet off the road in the back area,
and they were just humming continuously. So I you know, I'm saying,
well, obvious with all this emforce, something's got can be going
(53:35):
on. So later on when Ireturned there on another trip, there was
none of that going on, butit was obvious that there's been a lot
of animal sacrifices. It's sort ofswampy area on the outskirts of the road,
(53:57):
and it was obvious there was alot of animal sacrifice, vices and
some not too neat stuff going on. So I've picked up some really interesting
bits and pieces where I can't discardit as just, you know, a
spooky looking place. Another thing is, within about a half a mile of
(54:19):
that bridge, there's been seven oreight fatal wrecks, like in the span
of a year and a half,so there's a lot of fatal wrecks occurred
to you know, there's little makeshiftgraves what I've got tonight the house we
just had dinner. Their older daughter, Mamie, when she was in high
school, her and some friends didthe voco lose. So she's going to
(54:43):
be coming in and joining me shortlyand relate her vocal mode experience. Okay,
I'm just reading the story on thisReddit article that I shared. Okay,
this guy I goes there with acouple of his friends. Um see
(55:05):
what I could hear was Okay, you're getting there. So this this is
a this is a good friend. This is the daughter of a good friend
of mine, Mamie, and shelives down here outside of New Sumarna Beach
(55:28):
technically Florida, and the Volco Loois having farm. Would you say from
here? Okay, so we're it'sabout fifteen minutes if you follow that road
across from James's. How is that? Okay, so she's we're about fifteen
minutes from where we are. Andwhile she in high school, right,
(55:52):
she go ahead and tell what youheard or you know what from Like we
were all younger, we would alwayshear about like the Volca witch and how
they would you know, she wouldcome out like certain times of the night
or whatever, and we were alllike, oh well yeah, right,
like whatever, there's no way.So we all went down there one night
and you know, we were doingprobably what we should be doing, and
(56:14):
was just sitting there and we alllike left to go to a gas station,
came back and there was just itwas not even five minutes and there's
just a pig just like cut smackin half, like right in the middle
of the road. Like there wasnobody else there because our other friends had
stayed, but we all had ourhead lights off and everything. We were
like so we just got the heckout of there. But like I guess
(56:34):
I don't know like the origin ofit, but I know it's a thing
like in Oka, like you goto the Volca which place, and you
can sit there all night and likesome night sh'll come, some night she
won't. There's also a little Ijust comed out about this, but there's
a little like troll house over there, like little like almost like a congregation
of like tiny what am I tryingto say? Like, yeah, it's
(56:59):
right. Yeah, It's like whenyou go over a bridge and that's where
the witch stays a bridge, andthen over the bridge probably like a quarter
of the mile up on your right, there's these little like troll houses and
there's little like it's almost like it'sa big cavern, and then there's little
rooms I guess in it, butthey're all like natural made. And then
there's smaller little surfaces and like littleI don't know what, okay, yeah,
(57:23):
where it looks like things live, but like not humanly. The first
time I did that, I wastelling them I had my ghost bomb and
it's telling me please investigator. Yeah. And the last time I went,
which was probably before, yeah,it was like three years. And animal
sacrifices everywhere everywhere. I'm everywhere, and they're not like it doesn't look like
(57:46):
they've been hit by cars. No, it's like a smack cut straight in
half. Like it's the craziest thing. It's crazy. And from what I
heard, And there's a local blogsite they have and I get I'm checking
it out, and you know alot of the kids just, oh I
went there, nothing to happen.Yeah. Well but there's some kids that
went there and got the piss herethat it's scary. Man. Like we
(58:08):
weren't. We were like guy said, maybe gone for like five minutes.
And our friends at State and theylike, well, we got back and
we put our headlights and we werecoming back, so we saw it and
we were like did you guys seethis? And they were like no,
like we didn't even see the pickcover show the round. And I was
like, now it tell me ifI'm want. But from what I was
reading, I guess one of theentry things is people like to stop on
(58:31):
the gridge, turn your lights off, the lights off the car and then
I think you're like you flick yourlights three times or something. There was
something to do to like it orto come to come out. Yeah,
and then people, a lot ofpeople on the Blonde site said when they
go to turn the car back onits problem, it has an issue.
(58:52):
And I was telling them the firsttime I we there, there was I
guess, look at e I don'tknow if it's in east and west going
down, but on the way hehad signed there with these pool what metal
pipes? Yeah, and that's wiresgoing through and they're set off the realebe
like six seven feet and I wasI was getting em like crazy, it's
(59:15):
just constant belodgement. And I actuallytalked to a number of mechanics. With
the new engines and all that,ye hey, look the obvious the glassness
with all this you know, emwaves and all that, could that be
a problem with the car getting started, and they said most likely. So
it's it's creepy. It's just yeah, and they give you and then did
(59:37):
you realize all these makeshift grades there'sbeen a number of fatal rex back well,
because it also comes Like the realthing about Loco is that it connects
two roads, so it connects umCow Creek. When you're going all the
way down Cow Crey, it'll spiton Maytown and then you'll make a left
and you'll be on Loco. ButMaytime keeps going and Moco is that way.
(59:59):
So there's like all those curves backthere down in Oko, like just
huge ones. We actually just havea fatality on one of them, I
think like a month and a halfago or something. But a lot of
people like even when I would drivedown there, you wouldn't even be putting
your phone. I'm the gas,but your car would be accelerated and like
it was weird, just something. It was weird. You just felt,
Yeah, it was like strange thehair and next thing. And I'm assuming
(01:00:22):
that's still I mean, yeah, people still do it. People still go
down there. I mean not somuch anymore. I've been there seeing what
I need to see, yeah,I actually need just now from what I've
observed and and like, shit,I know that I'm I've been down there,
scary. I've been observing it throughthe daytime. But yeah, like
(01:00:46):
I think that a lot of thetime it happens between like two and four
in the morning. It's like thatweird like right, and like the very
very dark, like there's no youknow, and it's usually like I think
somewhere I read that she doesn't liketo come out like on full moons because
people expect it or something like sheseems to be kind of spiteful from what
I've read about her. Yeah, men, yeah, yeah, it's weird.
(01:01:12):
Like there, I don't I thinkyou'll have to read about the animal
sacrifices because I want to say mostof them were male animals. Like I
don't think there's wow yeah, likebecause I know what hours there was a
male pig when we got back andwe're like, oh, that's weird,
but you might look into that wowyeah, because a lot of my friends,
a lot of them just still sittingon there and they're just like,
(01:01:35):
so what what I'm basically saying.I don't have any hardcore evidence, but
it's a thing. I'm telling you. We Dave and I have investigated them.
I'm a bunch of these kwie babybridges and other stuff, and you
can see weird. It's like,oh yeah, this is scarier. You
get a certain things. I cansee the atmosphere. But both I think
(01:01:59):
there's just something not right. I'venever in the weird things like you can't
find any history, and it's shownme for some reason, it doesn't love
a little. Yeah, I haven'tseen it in any really. You know
how these ghost schools get the semina. Yeah, it's crazy. It's crazy.
(01:02:20):
Well thanks to Micha say it's thankyou. Maybe that's appreciate. So
we have an eyewitness account. I'mgood, all right, So we have
an eyewitness account to some of whatI'm saying. Yeah, there's quite a
few different UM pages that make mentionof this type of thing. Here's another
(01:02:45):
one I have been reading. So, I mean, it looks like they
made um some kind of movie reallybased on it. I'm trying to find
(01:03:06):
it. As of March thirty one, twenty twenty, on their Facebook page,
says for all all that would liketo know about the Volco Road Project
and where we are in production. We are still working, but had to
take time off because of the coronavirusoutbreak. We all play for everybody to
(01:03:29):
be safe and cautious, watch yourhands, stake secret away from strangers,
and watch your local news stations.Stay updated on coronavirus. And I always
check back here for updates on VolcoRoad. Thank you who it doesn't That
was the last post they made andthat was March thirty feet of twenty twenty
(01:03:51):
and people have put on there. This was over a year ago. Please
give me any new information and there'snothing. So um just still says coming
soon. So I don't know.Huhm um. It's apparently an original series,
(01:04:14):
So I don't like I said.I Um, I actually would love
to go down there one night.Certainly would not go down there by myself.
See if Amy wants to go withyou? Yeah, yeah, I
you know that little uh that whateverit is inside you to just sew it
(01:04:38):
a dwals you to the weird andstuff like that, right, h yeah.
Everything just still says coming soon,so um yeah, I don't know.
Maybe they just ran out of fundingand and finish it, or I
(01:05:02):
don't know, I'll have to I'llhave to dig into that more and see
if I can find some names ofsomething associated with it, I might be
able beginning contact with Yeah, Isee that. That's the first I'd heard
that those animals were males. Iwas I'm sorry, I missed a lot
of that while I was researching theYeah. Evidently Mamie saying that those animals
(01:05:27):
sacrifices and that pig that they sheknows she works with animal rescue and all
that that pig they found sliced openand all they were all mail okay,
and the voco moved, which,oh, it has a problem with males,
right right, because she was abductedand repeatedly raped before being murdered and
(01:05:51):
dismembered. So yeah, yeah, yeah, so huh. I didn't know
that association with the X with theanimals as well. Yeah, it's it
just it don't feel good, Dawnthere, which is something. All right,
Well, let me get ahead andwe'll do our commercial break. Okay,
(01:06:13):
come back, we'll get back intoit. Oh right, sounds good.

(01:09:41):
there's any videos of it. Um. I mean there's some, but that
you know, I'd have to playthem to see shows anything whatever. Um,
So you know, I don't know, h um. One of them
is a person ryding the dirt bikedown Volco Road, um to the trails
(01:10:08):
on either side, you know.So um, but as far as Volco
Road, which I don't see anythingum referencing that film. So very strange
(01:10:30):
we have. This area also hasgot a section of m got got a
lot of other interesting urban legends. There's a section of Route four here,
Interstate four. Um, it's calledlike the Devil's Highway, and just an
(01:10:53):
extraordinary high amount of fatal wrecks andeverything, um in that period. And
there's all kind of interesting stories aboutthat. A number of years ago.
Um, Daytona Beach and New SmyrnaBeach are about I guess about seventeen eighteen
(01:11:14):
miles apart, and there was inthat in this area there was probably one
of the more prolific Florida mass murderers. He was an individual of minimal you
know, he was somewhat mentally retardedor compromised and he was a dishwasher and
(01:11:39):
he worked at a number of therestaurants between the two and was eventually found
guilty and executed here in Florida forhis crimes. But there's an area that
I that I've worked through before thatwas pretty noticeable, and I picked up
some real interesting stuff on McCord andWhatnotum, so I'm mistaken. Not far
(01:12:03):
from there also is the stretch ofroad in the bar where one Eileen Absolutely
yes, yeah, I passed thatplace several times. Absolutely yep. Um.
We also uncovered down there in thesame area. It was a black
(01:12:26):
cemetery. Um. It looks likethe earliest burials took place in the late
eighteen hundreds and they were burying peoplethere through the forties or fifties. And
it looks like when they put ina local airport, they broke the cemetery
up and it fell into pretty baddisrepair. Nobody was taking care of it,
(01:12:50):
and the growth sort of creeped upon it. So when we first
found it, UM, that wasquite active. We were getting a lot
of very interesting recordings and whatnot. They are here in the Edgewater area and
good report that passed by just theother day and they've been someone has really
(01:13:16):
spruced it up and started putting thingsback together there. But that was always
a real active cemetery, and Ithink it was active because of the disrespection.
You know, might be interesting totalk about. And I still have
to call Steve Humble about that chair, you know at the antique store,
(01:13:43):
but just I'm going to sew itout to our group. We did.
Two weeks ago, we had anotherinvestigation at the antique store there in Waynesboro,
James and Jess and they had achair. There was a small chair,
probably meant for a child, andthe chair had been built and was
(01:14:06):
in the home of a gentleman namedWilliam Hummil. And what happened in eighteen
ninety nine there was this lady marriedand she had three small children. I
think they were like six years old, three years old in an infant And
(01:14:29):
in August of eighteen ninety nine, her husband gets kicked in the head by
a horse and he takes about aweek or so to pass away. Well,
as soon as he passed away, there was a guy by the name
of William Hummil who started coming aroundand sort of bothering the lady wanted to
be a paramore, and he hadknown her. He was a calvary veteran
(01:14:55):
of the Civil War for Pennsylvania, living up in the Williamsport, Montoursville area,
and he had done odd jobs.He was like a rag salesman,
and evidently he had a thing forthis lady and was bugging her in to
everyone's surprise, and early November ofthat year she married him with the justice
(01:15:23):
of the peace. It was buta week or two after their marriage when
people's the locals started saying how theyhad not seen the woman or children for
a while, and they had movedto this William Hummel's house, and so
(01:15:44):
long story short. Eventually they starteddigging around and it became obvious that mister
Hummel with an axe, had killedthe woman and the three killed them,
beat them to them, and hadhid their bodies in under hay bills,
(01:16:11):
except for the infant. They hadnot found the infant's body. He was
arrested and imprisoned in the county jailthere and during that period this is pretty
well documented, so there's a lotof them. This was a very famous
case. It appears that um shortlyafter marrying William. The lady really didn't
(01:16:36):
want the marriage, and so shewas saying how it wasn't official because it
hadn't been a minister but a justiceof the peace. And it appears mister
Hummel was afraid she was trying totake his house. That may have been
grounds for the deed. Nevertheless,um story came forth that during his imprisoned
(01:17:00):
and William Hummel claims that his deadwife came and visited him, the ghost
of his dead wife and relaid tohim a number of articles of information that
had occurred, including where the bodyof the infant would be found, and
they were able to find the bodyat that at that location. For him,
(01:17:24):
I don't know what he was thinking, but for the locals they felt
it was almost like a letter ofconfession. He was convicted of the crimes
and in nineteen hundred he was hungfor those crimes. They sold tickets to
the affair, and then none ofthe churches in the area would accept the
(01:17:47):
bottle of body for burial. Andthen there was even a lot of stuff
after his death where his body wasexhumed in a whole bunch of stuff.
But anyhow, in its day, there was a lot of notoriety about this
case, and James had this chair, youth's chair that evidently William Hummel had
(01:18:13):
made and was in the house. So while we're doing the investigation, it
was interesting. We had K two'sset on the ones of the chairs,
and as we asked questions related tothe events or whatever, the K twos
would go off and signal positive asif to respond to our questions. We
(01:18:38):
had a K two on the floorright next to the chair, but not
touching the chair wouldn't go off atall. And later we had brought a
table and we're trying to hook upconnect with some of the spirits in the
antique store, and I think wewere using Charles at time, and Charles
(01:19:00):
would not let the spirits come forwardbecause essentially he was telling us there was
a malicious spirit present and he wasprotecting us. And so we weren't able
to connect with any of the spiritsthat night, but we felt believed that
Charles was protecting us. Oh yeah, yeah, So that that was sort
(01:19:26):
of interesting. So that we bothknow Dave myself are psychic. Haley,
we had Haley looking in with usand she was getting a pretty strong lead
on every d She was actually supposedto call back during our Facebook live and
didn't because that energy affected her sodramatically that our life fee was done by
(01:19:51):
the time she got her bearing straightso right, but she had keyed in
on a youth about five or six. She had keyed in a lot of
rage and anger. And she alsoagreed with Dave and I we did not
feel that that chair should just goto anybody's house because it could pose an
(01:20:15):
issue for them. So we're we'rein the process of talking with Steve Hummel
and his Museum of the Afterlife, and he has a lot of haunted and
very powerful energy wise relics, andwe just sort of felt that's that's really
the proper place for that for thatchair. We really couldn't hurt anybody,
(01:20:42):
and so um, we'll probably tryto negotiate a deal for it, and
then David I try to neutralize itsomewhat before we take it up to Moundsville
to the museum, because we're alittle concerned about transporting it up up there
and in our ability to get uptheir safe um. But the only problem
(01:21:05):
with that is are we done puttingsome poor ups or Amazon driver's life in
peril, you know. Yeah,so so well, well we'll figure it
out. Well, we'll pray aboutit and talk to the tables about and
see what wo, what would whatwould be the most appropriate. But I
(01:21:26):
guess both I don't want to speakfor you, Dave, but I guess
both of us sort of feel that, Um, you know, you've got
to be careful in the antique storiesbecause a lot of these pieces have energies
and uh, it's you don't knowwhat you're getting from what piece. So
you know, you may think thatyou're getting a little girl who was so
(01:21:49):
attached to her doll that she stayedwith it in the afterlife, But that
little girl is actually attached to,you know, another toy, and there's
something malevolent attached to this doll. You know, you never know, as
you have the people that can canread into this stuff. Um, it's
(01:22:11):
probably ill advised to you know, take home anything that does have some kind
of energy attached to it, unlessyou know you can get someone who's um,
like I said, who's who's giftedenough to to to read into it
and tell you what you're getting.Yeah, um, and I don't think
(01:22:38):
now that that thing was new,So none of the mediums that we've had
there on site has ever seen it. So so, but it did take
the Betty dolls, if I'm notmistaken, that correct? Yeah, yeah,
(01:23:02):
yeah, that's enough. Which stillthat still baffles me that there's an
old woman who did not like childrenattached to this doll. I don't I
don't understand that, and I sortof had a weird experience. I we
got a lot of energies from thisdoll. Um. She has a very
(01:23:25):
sweet, disarming face and didn't feelanything, um, anything bad about the
energies. But anyhow, we decidedto take her to the Hoover House.
So I got the doll and asI'm taking her and put her in the
front seat, well here, shesays something. And you know, I
(01:23:48):
just assumed a lot of these dollshave speaker boxes and you tiled them up
in back. They say something. So I had her in the front seat,
drove up to the Hoover House andthen when we get there, I
take her out and she says somethingelse. I take her inside, so
I have her sitting on the storeat the bar when Pam comes in.
(01:24:13):
So I, you know, toldI'm here. I got the Betty doll.
And I told her, I said, it's got a voice box,
so when you wore it up andback, you know it'll it'll say something.
And they were saying, what didit say? And I only wasn't
paying attention, but it was itwas several words. And here they're all
looking at it and everything else. What doesn't have a speaker box? It
(01:24:39):
doesn't speak? And I tell youthat things both to me twice taking it
up to the house. I haven'treally messed with the dolls since I said,
we'll keep your best of how thatgoes, but that that was sort
of a little unnerving when they toldme it didn't have a speaker box.
(01:25:01):
Yeah, the damn shamier recorder wasn'trunning. Sometimes when you're put in your
pocket it gets bumped and turned on. Sure, so I'm sort of curious.
Tonight we're gonna, as I said, we're gonna do a small tables
(01:25:24):
tipping session in here. I knowour hosts have a friend that they would
hopefully come through, and we actuallyhad asked m we'd asked James if he
could try to find that individual andbring him tonight. So we'll see how
that goes. We've we've actually tosort of update update you on some of
(01:25:46):
the table tipping. We've actually hadsessions where we've asked our tables to try
to find an individual and been ina state for about five minutes or so
with a table tables just flipping backand forth for a while, and then
finally it locks onto the person andbrings them through. So it's it's not
(01:26:10):
as weird a request as one mightthink. It's happened to us a lot.
We're really starting, we're really startingto put table tipping, I guess
into some of our investigating now, just because it's really I think we found
it a real direct way of communicating. By the way, I had mentioned
(01:26:33):
earlier about this haunted antique store, and that's the name of the haunted antique
store into Land. Well went ontheir site and they have table tipping,
and they had a video of somecustomer who came to the store with their
table and they engaged in the tabletipping session. So trying to ride them
(01:26:57):
back tell them you know that wasreally neat and trying to get some information
from them. But for some reasonmy email wanted to take and unfortunately that
store was closed. But um,do you think maybe, um, someone
there might be able to use yourphone and go on our Facebook and live
(01:27:19):
session the Tipping tonight. Um.We could try it. We could try
it. Um I UM, Iprobably have to get you to let's see.
I'm I think I've got about seventyeight. Um. Yeah, sure,
(01:27:44):
maybe your bomb could even do it. Right. Well, well,
I'll get in touch and see howwe wanted. How we to do that?
You just open Facebook, um,to our page. Okay, what
(01:28:05):
you're at our page? Do likeyou're gonna do a post and you'll see
where it says live video Oh okay, and then you just click on that
and start to live. Oh okay. Sure, well we'll try that.
Well, I think we're gonna oncethe show ends, I think we're gonna
(01:28:27):
swing into that, into that okay, so be poor after right, if
you can convince Mami to go withyou to Vocal Rude, make sure she
goes live for that too. Yeah, that would be good. So at
least if something does happen, weyou know, we have your last time
(01:28:48):
you were seen try the widge.Yeah, huh. It's been h last
week. During work, it wasum extremely warm for most of the week
(01:29:12):
and then cooled off. Towards theend of the week, and then uh,
yesterday it was downright cold. Imean I think the highest I saw
yesterday was like forty four, Soit was it was pretty damn cold.
It's been pretty cool. Huh yeah, um, but you know it's it's
(01:29:34):
it's going to be that time ofyear anyway. I would expect, um,
no snow our way yet, thankgoodness. Oh and I should mention
too, another bit of information ourFrancisco, who's um been a guest many
times. You've done done several investigationstogether and all that she has. Uh,
(01:29:59):
I guess we're gonna do something withher upcoming with the Hoover House and
also look at collaborating on a bookabout the Hoover House and some of the
really unusual sessions we've had, particularlyrecently. It seems, uh, it
(01:30:23):
seems just never never can tell what'sgoing to be coming up. So we're
trying to get her down that waypermanently, aren't we. Yeah. Yeah,
they're they're they're anxious to get tothe area. Good good, And
we just got to work on acertain mister Simpson. Yes, yeah,
(01:30:47):
hope hopefully he still has uh thefire and interest in getting that going.
I hope so, I hope sobecause I mean, honestly, I think
would be beneficial for him, youknow, not just as far as during
the team and everything. But soSaturday in November twenty yet they are doing
(01:31:12):
Civil War Days at the historic nineteentwelve Hoover House and then Friday to summer
tenth of very Victorian Christmas. Soand I know there's some other things in
the works that we can't really speakof yet, but some certain television people
(01:31:40):
who were getting new shows will befilming, and that's all we can really
say. And just so you know, it looks like we just broke.
They just broke seventeen hundred and onefollowers on the Hoover House page, which
is awesome. Yeah, it's beenup less than a year. And we
(01:32:03):
just broke twenty one hundred on ourKeystone page twenty one oh three to be
exact. So we got two thousand, one hundred and three followers. So
thanks to everybody who clicks that followingbutton to check us out. I put
a couple bvps recently on our site. Now when I get back, I'll
(01:32:25):
be processing a bunch more. It'sjust h god, yeah, yeah,
trust me. On now, I'mjust glad I'm not working on that overtime
anymore. I mean the money wasgreat, but fush five ten hour days
and then an eight hour on Saturday. I was like, Sunday, you're
free for Sunday. What do youwant to do. I don't. I
(01:32:45):
don't want to do anything. Ijust want to lay here and do nothing.
Um, well, we got toplan. We got to start planning
too for this upcoming year. Hopefullyget in at least two really new adventures
old investigations places we haven't been.Yeah. Um, you know there's one
(01:33:06):
that's not too far from us.Um. I want to get the exact
distance, but I know we haven'tbeen there, and I know we've both
been dying to get there. UmHill View manor Yeah. Um, as
(01:33:27):
far as five an investigations go,um, it looks like doors open at
six forty five and close at fouram. So you've got it from seven.
A six four hour investigation with onefour hour live stream is four hundred
and fifty, and a six hourinvestigation with one four hour live stream is
(01:33:51):
six hundred and an eight hour investigationwith a live stream is eight hundred.
Um. When that's eighty dollar. There's additional person fee available Friday and Saturday.
Raw photographs, audio and unedited videofootage aprenial movidence is allowed. If
you want to edit the evidence, you must sign a recorded content rider that
(01:34:12):
costs an extra hundred dollars. So, um, but I'm trying to see
four, six or eight hours andthere's it's a newcastle, right you can
so from us. Um, I'mputting the address in their maps. Now
(01:34:41):
from us that is directions from rightwhere I'm at right now, that is
uh three and half hours. Okay, it's over near Um, where's that
(01:35:05):
grove city? So it's it's upabove Pittsburgh. Okay, okay. But
again, if we can ever geta hold of him and he's he's um
you know a tune to opening itback up, we probably go right by
(01:35:26):
um Aequila mansion. Yeah yeah, yeah, two for one yeah, um,
because where's that that's in Union Uniontown, which I don't see this map
(01:35:49):
anywhere. There's Altuna. I seeMount Union, but I don't see Uniontown.
That's captivat yeah, yeah, Ijust I don't see it. But
maybe it gets a smaller. Letme zoom in a little bit and see
if it pulls up some of thesmaller there you go, Um, trying
(01:36:13):
to think what that's near. Whatthe nearest big city is from Uniontown.
Um, there's State College, there'salf Tunah, it's further west than that.
(01:36:33):
Um, I'm just I'm trying tothink, what is the nearest big
town down there? Is Shanksville?Yeah, yeah, yeah, Uniontown's really
sort of yeah, there's not Idon't know what is the biggest town near
(01:36:55):
it? And it looks up maybeit's down here and I'm just looking too
far too high. Um, there'sShanksville, there's pleasant Ville, there's breeze
Wood. Oh, there's Somerset.Should be there's Johnstown. It's north of
(01:37:20):
Johnstown, right right, m hm. They don't have any one here.
That's strange. Ian. I guessthat that's small. Not really. Yeah,
(01:37:41):
I don't even see it on hereanywhere. Wow. Oh well,
but yeah, it's I mean, you'd have to go by the X of
fort and everything anyway. So butyeah, if you take um, the
route with tolls is I seventy six, there's three hours twenty six minutes.
If you go thirty and then Iseventy six, it's three hours and thirty
(01:38:04):
four minutes, so it's it's alittle over two hundred miles. So like
Terra Goes, Pa has too manydowns that it does. Have you been
to the Moonshiner's Church? I havenot. I know where where is that
located? I do not know, but we can google it. See.
(01:38:41):
Uh? Is that is that thefort Indiantown Gap is? That's one who's
talking about? Is in where USAhaunted Moonshine Church in the Blue Eyed six.
Yeah, that's it for it's asmall place. Indiantown Gap in Lebanon
County seems to have a disproportionate servingof local legend. The place has not
(01:39:06):
won but two sets of apparitions associatedwith it. In addition to military vehicles
and tanks. The army base atforty in the Inhaan Gap houses a green
and white church called Moonshine Church.Henry Moonsheine, who was born seventeen sixty
died eighteen thirty six, who donatedthe land. An old log church was
(01:39:26):
built on the site next to anacre of land. Henry Moonshine had designated
the acre as a free burial landas a memorial to his son, who
died at the tender age of fourteen. The original log church on this site
burned down in the nineteen sixties whencompletely replaced by the one that stands on
the camp today. And while it'snot a smart idea to stroll on the
military camps, but those who havepeeked into the church say they see dead
(01:39:47):
people walking around the place. Giventhe sad history of the place, nobody's
sure whether it's supposed to be Moonshineor his relatives wandering around there, but
some say maybe a murder victim namedJoseph Rabert. And it's this man who
features in indianwn Gaps other set ofoperations. After Raber's untimely death in December
of eighteen seventy six, a sortof tale of green and betrayal Agreed and
(01:40:11):
Betrayal came out involving six men IsraelBrandt, Josiah Hummel, There's a Humble
name again, Charles Drew's, FranklinStickler, Henry f Wise, and George
Zekman. During the trial, reporternoted that all the defendants had blue eyes,
and so history remember them as theBlue Eyed six. They apparently took
(01:40:31):
out life inshortus on Joseph Raber,a local laborer in his late fifties.
Raber lived in a one room shackwith his commonleal wife and had no connection
with the six, but the graveyardpolicy they took didn't require them to.
Simply stated, if the six keptup the premiums, they would walk away
with either eight thousand or ten thousanddollars. Sources disagree when he died.
(01:40:51):
Although this plot was ghoulish, theso called graveyard policies were perfectly legal.
In fact, Walmart takes out similarpolicies on its employees to this day.
What wasn't legal was a plot theyhad to bring the pay day forward by
doing raybor In. In a barroom meetings, the six discussed how they
would do the deed, rather tooloudly, as it turned out, and
(01:41:12):
settle on drowning raybor In the IndiantownGap Creek. After knocking them into water.
At least two of them held himunder to insure the success of their
plan. Unfortunately, insurance fraud andmurder plots have a way of coming on
glued, and all but one ofthe six ended up hanging. Only Zeckman
was not indicted, and he dieda year later. Anyway, although Blue
odd six were not allowed in theMoonshine Graveyard with their victim. The story
(01:41:33):
goes that if you drive to thegraveyard at night, you can see floating
blue lights along the road and inthe graveyard. Like all good cemetery stories,
they recommend you leave your motor runningbecause if you need to be to
hasty retreat, your car will undoubtedlyfail to start a lot of neat history
that chan't look at this. Yeah, mhmm, NICs. I love these
(01:42:08):
stories. It's strange, yeh, hadn't not heard of that? Huh?
There's apparently video someone did h YouTubevideos up there Haunted Pennsylvania. Episode seven
was the Moonshine Church. Here's aFacebook video from twenty ten. It's about
(01:42:31):
a minute long. And then aYouTube video that's about thirteen minutes long.
So cool. It actually has itsown Facebook now that's in Jonestown. Never
mind, it's a different one.Huh. Very strange, that's but that's
(01:42:56):
great because you know Indian hound gapswhat hour and twenty minutes? Yeah,
going along those lines. So yeah, um, who said a co worker
told him about this place, sohe went and checked it out. Um,
yeah, we're gonna have to sitdown and set up some trips through
this upcoming year. So I thinkwe're both in agreement that one of them
(01:43:19):
has to be Old South Pittsburgh.Yeah. Um, if you had your
if you had your your say, what would um? What would be?
Um? The second one that youthat you really want to get done as
soon as possible. Um. I'vereally been angling to get up to the
(01:43:55):
Shanley. H that's too big inorder, because Danny and Lawrence are doing
it on the fifteenth, I couldn'tmake it. But UM, I think
the one for me is going tobe trans Alleghany. Well, that that's
(01:44:17):
one I probably should do sooner thanlater, because it's so big. I
don't know if I'll be up tobeing able to do it right. That's
so big. Let's see what exactsize we're talking about here in West and
West Virginia, which directions from herejust under four hours, depending which way
(01:44:49):
you go. If you go Isixty eight West, it's three and a
half hours. If you use seventyand seventy six it's three hours. Fifty
two thirty to sixty eight it's threeforty two minutes. So that clothe the
slowest way is three hours and twentytwo minutes. UM. Question is if
(01:45:15):
we do that, we'll have tocontact at Patty Girl UM, because she
lives about an hour or so fromthere. Right, I'm trying to see
where they have They're clothes for daytimetours, but I'm trying to see where
(01:45:42):
events maybe. Oh, I don'tknow, I got okay, Um,
(01:46:08):
it just talks about their tours. It doesn't say anything as far as reserving
it for well, here we go, here we go. There's this is
public public private ghost hunts for eighthours UM, one hundred and fifty dollars
per person, minimum of ten peopleUM. It can be either provide your
(01:46:32):
own insurance which must state additional insuredtrans allegantly asylum and Joe Jordan, or
we can provide insurance for just twohundred and fifty dollars. I know it's
it's pricy. I don't know. You know, Steve supposedly knows the owner
that he might be able to nigglesome kind of deal. Oost of Steve.
(01:46:59):
I'm yeah, no, she Barry. Oh really okay. Let well,
while I'm on Google, let mepull up speaking with Steve Hummel.
What up his website? M coachthat for anybody who's interested in checking it
(01:47:29):
out. Um, let's see beenon travel channels, Destination America, Ghosts
Asylum, Wall Street Journal and he'smy ghost story Harned Magazine, UK Paranormal
Request everything. So, um lookslike in September it's in cameraon West Virginia.
(01:47:54):
I don't know how far that isfrom Moundsville anymore, but um looks
like he got a new and somethingnew. They did a live video on
the September seventh of him opening anew package. So, M see,
(01:48:18):
you've got I mean harnted dolls,they've got um, they've actually got a
cap that was used during execution atMountsville Penitentiary. Um, so, I
mean it's we even investigated there severaltimes. Anyway, it is very unnerving
(01:48:41):
in some of the stuff he has. So, M see, if you
give him a little plug there.Well, look, Dave, I think
I'm going to go ahead and punchoff here. Okay, the way you
could do a table tipping session justtake a couple of minutes. Breakers.
I know they've got to work twomore so we can't go too late,
(01:49:04):
right, So if I can getsomebody one the phone, we'll do a
live feed off of Okay, soyou guys take care. We'll be Um,
we're gonna be leaving down here onThursday, probably get up there on
Friday, right right, Oh you'releaving there on Thursday afternoon. Yeah,
(01:49:26):
okay, Um, well thanks forpopping in. I know, you know,
on vacation and everything. So um, I'm probably gonna cut out here
soon too. I gotta get thekids to bed and everything. So well,
thank you Everyboddy for coming in andalways a pleasure, and h we'll
see later this week, Budd.Okay, all right, say take care
(01:49:48):
bye bye? Can I all right? UM, apologize for for the kind
of slow droll show tonight, butyou family comes first, and I'm just
glad. I just hoped that Dave'sson or Dave's child feels better soon and
(01:50:14):
has a positive outcome. You know, I don't. I don't want him
to be you know, I don't. I don't want anybody have to go
through that, especially with a child. So hopefully that turns out. Okay,
and we'll reschedule and get Dave onhere another time. Um, we'll
see you in two weeks where wewill have psychic medium Sam Baltrucis on um.
(01:50:36):

on Prime, look for his umthing. He just did the Curse of
Lizzie Borden. I've already seen itas fantastic And everybody be safe and have
