Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hello, Welcome to the Doctor John Oda Method. I want
to say thank you so much today for joining me today.
If it's the morning, the afternoon, the evening, the night,
whatever time it is, I really do appreciate you as
listening to me. Guys, today show is gonna be completely
off the hook and special. So before I get in
(00:21):
more of the show concepts and strategies, let me find
you who I am, so you guys will all be
in the same page. Of course, guy, my name is
not to John Otill. Something about me. I have a PhD, NBA,
PhDa and Philosophy of NBA and entrepreneurship. I have thirty
eight years in mentel film, so I did a lot
of more clinical psychology, but PhDs and research. I have
(00:45):
thirty years in business growth working with some of the
most business titans in the world. I had honor working
with guys like Anthony Robbins, Chet Holmes, Jay Abraham and
the Business Mastery Faculty, as well as Joseph mcclinnan and
third he does UPW Day two and dur and Day four.
(01:06):
And with these titans, I created my own system. It's
called the BSSM one model. This is what I did
working with the greats, so I've been seeing more of it.
I've been working over ten thousand businesses in the last
thirty plus years, a lot of them working with Tony
Robbins and everything else in Chut Holmes, working with Business
(01:26):
Branks's International. And here's what I found out and the
reason why I created the BSSM model. The b stand
for business, and the foundation the stand for symptoms and
the other stand for systemized and modetized. Right, So in
the bss A model, I found out that if you
(01:48):
don't use the BSSM model, your business will I actually grow.
And when I tell people when I work with them,
I'm not the architecture. I'm not gonna paint you a
pretty picture and till your man do this, we can
grow this, we can go that. What I consider myself
as being more or less of the civil engineer, you know,
the guy who looks at you know the foundation of
(02:09):
your business, the sewards highways and hold nine yards to
make sure that your foundation is straight, making sure of that.
Ay that if you build your house or build your business,
I'm saying it can still flourish. There are so many
business that I've worked with in the last thirty years
who do not have a strong foundation at all. If
(02:33):
you don't have a strong foundation, you won't have a
strong business and you might can scale off for a
little bit, but eventually, eventually your business is gonna actually fail.
So my biggest goal about it, the name of the
show is is to audit your business foundation because it's
(02:55):
a civil engineer inside your business right now, to look
at first and foremost, hey, how is your foundation and
so what? So what I normally do is right first,
I focus on, okay, what cycle are you in right now?
So imagine, so I just say you have a kid, right,
just say you and your wife signif another thing about
(03:19):
having a kid, right, you have a kid, you know,
you know, so you plan to get a kid. So
so first first starts to locate the kids is born,
just like a business when you went to go for
your business, your business is born. Great job, right, But
then after the business is born, you know, and then
the business is born, and then of course we start
the business. Another great job, and you're excited, you're pumped up.
(03:41):
You're gonna take it over the freaking world. Because that's
what I did when I started my business. Like off,
the damn world, all right, but then the next stage
it's okay. Then you go through terrible twos. If you
guys had the kids, you said, tophew, see terrible twos,
what do they do? They teeth they're crimky. Now, let
me tell you, when you're in the terrible twos of
your business, it's a little bit different. Nobody know the identity.
(04:05):
Everybody's wearing ten thousand, five hundred and three hats, everybody's
working and it's no one and it's alost like a
you know, remember that I'm a Chicago guy, right, so
I'm from Indiana, right, And when the Bulls was playing.
The reason why I believe that that the Bulls won
so many championships because everyone knew their role. We know
(04:25):
that Michael's gonna shoot ten thousand times, Rockman was gonna
pick up nine thousand is rebounds, Scott is gonna distribute
the ball and get everybody inside the place, the waiter
which is cuckoach. Right, He's gonna score off the bench,
Kurt's gonna do some some my three pointers, and everyone's
gonna play the role. Well, when you're in you're terrible twos,
(04:46):
that's not how you act in the business. How you
act in the business is a little bit different. How
you act in the business is that it's hard. No
one knows their identity, no one knows whos taking place.
Everyone's wearing ten thousand freaking hats and the business this
is a freaking nightmare. Now imagine when I'm coaching, uh,
somebody in terrible twos. It's hard because we have one
(05:09):
person playing five different roles, no one no good position.
So you coach them in a completely different matter. Then
they go from the terrible twos to a teenager. Now imagine, guys,
imagine that if you have if you have a teenager, right,
the teenager has a million dollars? Do you think do
you think the teenagers donna listen to you? Probably won't. Now,
(05:32):
the same thing takes place in the business. A business starts,
the business business blow up a couple of minis, it's
a million dollars. What does the CU do normally? And
the CEO blows off meetings, don't go to it. The
khaki They think that the profit and the revenue and
net profit and all this stuff, and is it in
(05:52):
the gross revenue is the exact same thing. Right, he
had no systems in place, he's on the go go stage.
This way, you don't care about anybody except for himself. Now,
I'm working with a teenager business most of the times. Yeah,
the uh, they'll hire me for about three months. You
know why they're such a teenager. They think that they
can do it themselves. Of Course they find out, oh
(06:14):
my god, we can't do it ourselves, and of course
the business fell. Right, but then we have another type
of business, right then we have the young adult, right,
the young adults that listen to me. I don't wanna
go to this BS stuff. I'm not gonna go through it,
and I'm gonna figure out what a sh actually was
taking place. I'm a hire consultant. I'm'a hire a doctor,
John Old, i'm'a hire all these people to make my
(06:34):
business thrive. Why cause I been through the teenager stages.
And of course we have to the to the maturity stages.
That mean that you have all these systems in place,
everything that's running smoothly and m and the system place
is more like the Chicago Bulls back in nineteen ninety six,
ninety seven, ninety eight. They had a system. Uh for us.
(06:57):
You know, the first three people is the exact same way.
Every noone knew their position. So when your business can
run as everyone knows theirs position, everyone knows as what's
taking place, your business is actually gonna actually happen. So
here's a question that I happens for you. What stage
is your business in? Where is your business at? Right?
(07:20):
So we have ten different stages of that your business
can actually go through. He just went through through the
first five. Then what we focus on We focus on
the power of mindset and faith. We focus on where
you at, how's your belief system, changing your belief system
here and there? Why to make you run your business
effectively and officially right? And then of course I bring
(07:43):
it back in chapter four we focus on more or
less the mastermind group. If you heard of all Napoleon Hill,
that's my guy. I loved that guy and to death.
He wrote this book called Think and Grow Rich. He
talks about the mastermind principle. Right, So let me go
backwards in this story that I have, this book that
I have, Uh, we have this guy named Alan Private.
(08:06):
Alan Private has come from my first book, Connecting the
with your teen teenager behavior issues, Cocky, arrogant, the whole
nine yards. He's a literally a teenager right back in
the day, he murdered, uh, he got went to a rave,
got an accident and killed somebody. Now we p we
bring a Alan Private back in this book. Now and
he's forty five fifty years old, he's a billionaire. But
(08:29):
here's a here's a challenge, guys. He had been dealt
with those issues. He got the same freaking issues that
he had back in the day. But he's you know,
forty five fifty years old. He have a staff, he
have employees and and and then the business around completely terrible, right,
so you know, but what Alan Private is and then
what he happens is he goes in the future for
(08:50):
thirty years. And if you ever went to Tony Robinson program,
it's most like the Dixon Techniques, Right, he goes in
the he goes in the uh uh the future for
thirty years, and he see his business going from a
billionaire to to being homeless. But then he sees his
business in the next one. He sees his business going
(09:11):
from a b a billionaire to being a sex tillion
That mean that's that's one of twenty one zeros, right,
But he do this in the help of guys, like
you know Anti Robbins and and the Great Chet Holmes,
late late great Chat Holmes, Tony Robbins, Jay Abraham, Scott Holman,
the great doctor John Oda, you know, Scott uh Scott Conway,
(09:33):
doctor Horden. I know this goes on right, So and
that's how the books start off with with the story.
Then he breaks it down, but he breaks it not
down as Okay, what is where? Where is the foundation
of your business? And think about this. It's your foundation
(09:54):
is not strong, your business won't be strong. And if
your business is not strong, it's gonna be a hard
day in heaven. So on this first day we're talking
about is more of the foundation. Cause what I wanna
focus on is the five day Business Growth Challenge to
(10:19):
unlock your hidden revenues beside your business. So my biggest
goal is to get to teach you guys some strategies
and some tools. Short sessions when I have I'm gonna
have four more same time between ten fifteen minutes, just
to get you thinking and just to have you say, hey,
(10:40):
you know there's a way for me to grow my business.
And you might identify, ay, you know I'm a teenager.
Oh else, Hey, you know and i'm i'm i'm'a i'm
i'm I'm in my cherble tools. But you can also say, hey,
you know, I'm the m I'm in the maturity stages.
But it's what we still need help, right So mining
(11:00):
one goal is get to teach you guys some some
feedback and strategies and working with Jay and and Tony
and chat for for you know, for almost a decade
was what was the most amazing experience that I had,
cause they taught me how to grow a business. They
taught me how to scale a business. But what I
added in my s in my program. But we're gonna
(11:23):
talk about tomorrow, you're gonna focus on the symptoms of
your business. If you don't deal with your symptoms, your
business is not gonna sustain the growth that you actually
put in. So anyway, I'm excited, I'm pumped up. I'll
s I'll see you guys uh on the following day
(11:43):
well as as soon as we talk about the symptoms
of your business. And until next time, guys, take care
and all these blessings by for now,
