(00:00):
Welcome everyone back to another episode ofDumb and Delicious, the podcast hosted by
Guytano, PARRATORI and Jack Hamilton. My name is Guitano and similar to last
week, except the roles are reversed. Jack could have been very busy this
up this past week, so Iwill be doing a solo episode. I
believe it is my first ever soloepisode. So yeah, Jack is unavailable
(00:27):
at the moment, but that isokay. We we keep balling, we
keep moving. So I will betaking over this episode at a little single
rundown of Yeah, me speaking asusual, except without a partner. Yeah,
a little check in for me tostart off with. I hope everyone
(00:47):
has been doing great for this pastweek. I know I've been staying busy,
uh and uh yeah overall what I'mhow I'm doing right now? I'm
doing well. It's a little lateat the just had a pretty laid back,
lazy day and it has been veryneeded from the past week. I've
been working. This past week.I worked almost every single day at the
(01:11):
restaurant, so that was a lot. I have been hustling and bustling my
ass on the real estate courses, which are going well. I grinded a
lot, especially yesterday and today. So I mean, like again, lazy
day, I consider you know,an hour doing of worth of doing real
estate program out of the hours ofthe day. That's it's work, but
(01:34):
it's not considered a work day. It's still a productive lazy day because you
can have those, but you canalso have unproductive lazy days. But at
the end of the day, alazy day is how you want to be
whined and be comfortable and just youknow, relax for once. Anyways,
Yeah, I'll right into it.Uh So, Spotify Wrapped just came out.
(01:55):
I hope everyone got what they wantedout of the Spotify Wrapped. I
don't know. I've always seen SpotifyWrapped as a great marketing tool on their
behalf. Not only is it agreat way to look back at the past
year and what everyone's listened to musicpodcast, et cetera, but also a
fantastic way to boost sales because releasedup until a few years a few years
(02:19):
ago, Spotify was the only platformthat did some form rendition of rapped or
out of the year tally of allthe statistics of what you listened to.
So I hope you all had thispodcast as one of your top three.
If not your top that's would beabsolutely fantastic. But yeah, my top
(02:42):
three or my top artist slash topsongs of the year top artist was Doja
Cat. Of course, I havebeen relentlessly listening to her songs and music
again prepping for the concert on Decembereleventh, which I recently found out was
a Monday. Fuck that sucks becauseI mean, like, I was a
little bit excited to go out toa club or a few bars after the
(03:02):
concert. But I still could goto a few bars, but it just
won't be the same as being aMonday. So we'll see. I'll probably
have worked the next day, soI'll probably keep it a little bit more
on the low key side, butI'll still I'm still excited, and I
know for a fact I'll make somefriends while I'm there. Where I was
going with this, Oh yeah,so Doji Kat was my top artist.
My top song of the year wasMariachi, which is a hard style song.
(03:28):
And speaking of hard style, Ialso found out that my top genre
of the year is you four hardstyle. Didn't know that was even a
genre a category, but yeah,Mariacci by Vaskin and Yusuf. That was
my top song of the year.It is one of my go tos on
(03:49):
at the gym, and y'all knowme and Jack, we love our gym.
So yeah. I don't know ifthis is a sad thing or if
this is a proud thing, butmy top podcast was our own, this
one itself, probably because I don'tlisten to a lot of podcasts, and
more importantly because every time I post, even though I review it in the
editing process, I also like toreview when I post them. What else
(04:14):
is happening in my life right now? Acting is like skyrocketing. It's on
a very very sharp inclient, whichI'm very happy to say and proud to
be telling you guys. So recentwork I've been doing have been a few
short films. I was also ona commercial product or product commercial the other
day for a shipping company, whichis pretty fucking cool. Part of my
(04:39):
friend, my friend profanity I got. I mentioned to y'all previously that I
got headshots done by the wonderful andtalented Denise Grant, located in Toronto,
and she was so awesome and justfantastic and very well rounded individual, very
well spoken. Anyways, Yeah, because of her incredible art and talent.
(05:02):
I've been able to book a lotmore gigs, which has been fantastic inclining
me more to work better, workmore on my debo reel. And also
eventually I'm hoping by at one pointnext year to get an agent, so
we'll see how that goes. Butyeah, that's that's the shindig for that
I'm this week is was supposed tobe a very busy week. I was
supposed to be on set this weekthat you're listening to this Monday, Tuesday
(05:28):
and Saturday. But the Monday Tuesdaywas rescheduled to a later date. So
that'll be for my own benefit, honestly, because I just my availability was
so tricky with work and everything else. So but I also got a message
from a previous production company that theywant to have me back, which is
(05:48):
fantastic, which I'll talk about later. And yeah, so I'm gonna be
reprising a role which is fantastic. That'll be on Wednesday, and then the
Saturday one is still in swing Decemberninth, and that'll be with the lovely
Joshua Bernault and his team. Soit is early into the episode. But
(06:09):
I just wanted to get this thissegment in motion, get the get the
ball rolling, because I'm very excitedto share the news. So we got
two questions for this week's episode, and these are the questions. Geo Underscore
Vicky eighteen asks what's your favorite thingto do? Thank you Geo for the
(06:31):
question. It is a very ohwow, that's a very open ended question.
What's my favorite thing to do?Let's break it down to a few
categories. Favorite thing to do forwork would obviously be acting. Favorite thing
to do in my spare time ishonestly just relax, hit down, watch
a movie, have some popcorn.Maybe it's some stacks or what the gym.
(06:56):
Obviously that's I wouldn't consider that sparetime because that's a plan and set
thing that I look forward to ona daily basis. M favorite thing to
do in spare time aside from thatwould probably be editing or planning for the
next day. Oh. In reading. I'm beginning into reading over the past
year, which has been great.I just finished a book actually, which
(07:19):
was called You Are a Badass byjensin Sero. I finished up that book
up a few days ago and nowI'm on the hunt for another self help
motivational kind of type of book.So if y'all have any suggestions, please
let me know via DM or message. Y'all know how to contact us.
(07:41):
I'd really appreciate some recommendations actually inthat. And then favorite thing to do
maybe like when I'm out out andabout I love to Obviously y'all know that
I love to drink and enjoy myselfand that in that way, But aside
from that, I would say thatI love to laugh when I'm out with
friends and doing stupid things, questionablethings maybe, but nonetheless things that make
(08:03):
me laugh. Yeah, and Ilove acting. Holy fuck, I love
pretending to be someone or something I'mnot. And especially when this again goes
into the whole idea of why Ilove acting and why I want to go
into it originally, is that Ilove to play a part and do it
(08:26):
so well that the person watching isable to be taken aback and forget about
all the potential struggles and negative negativesin their lives and just enjoy performance that
I create and co create with othersfor a small period of time. So
yeah, thank you GEO for thequestion. I hope that answered it in
(08:46):
some regard. And yeah, pleasefeel free to keep sending you in questions.
The next question is from Katie bugBergin, and Katie asked are you
still playing Cameron in Dan and Rhea? So to everyone that may or may
not know. In twenty twenty two, I was selected and casted for a
(09:15):
YouTube show by the YouTube channel DanRihea of both Dan Andria. Shout out
to them, lovely people. Someone of my favorite sets to be on
is when I'm working with them, like genuinely some fucking awesome people and shout
out to chaps, fucking love thatman. Yeah, are you still playing
(09:35):
Cameron and Dan Rihea? It's funnyyou ask this, Katie, because I
can share some wonderful news and thatthe upcoming role that I have recently received
to reprise is Cameron in the YouTubeseries Dan Rihea. So very excited to
(09:58):
see what we create with that.Things that are being worked out as we
speak, and I hope y'all willenjoy me and my performance soon enough,
so stay tuned to that. Andyeah, yeah, I'm just I'm very
excited about that. There are greatpeople that there are a great group of
people to be on set with andto create with, and we just click
(10:20):
It's just so nice to be onset and not have Obviously, you never
want to have a tension on set, but on other sets I've been on,
there's other intension or frustration or justsome form of wow, I'm not
having a great time, I I'muncomfortable or whatever. But this has been
one of the sets that I've beenon in the past. Where are one
of the crews I worked with inthe past that I just feel totally safe
(10:43):
and humble and happy and excited toconstantly work. So I'm very excited to
film with them again. Alrighty, those are just the two questions that we
receive, So thank you everybody, and moving forward, well, speaking of
sets, this came into my heada few days ago. So I was
(11:05):
on a set this past summer andit was for a feature film that was
being produced by none other than AdamLupis, who We Are Will Be We
will also be having on the podcastvery very soon. He is a talented
actor, producer, writer, andtalent extraordinaire and on this lovely set of
(11:31):
his I reunited with somebody from university. Now, I was never super close
to this individual, but I alwayswould find them in a class or at
a party or in mutual friends withothers, or we would have mutual friends.
Sorry, this individual is Jethro, and I sent him a message.
(11:52):
By the time you guys to listento this, I sent him a message
a bit ago, just staying I'msorry or not remembering your name now,
it is not a personal thing. It's just sometimes I will forget someone's name.
And I remember when telling him thatI forgot his name, the look
of disappointment he had in his eyesdid hurt me, and I fully deserved
(12:16):
it. However, it was alittle It was definitely a sting that rubbed
me the wrong way. If anypoint in my life I come across somebody,
I meet you, we changed names, contact information, etc. Even
go out and hang out a fewtimes. If I do not see you
frequently, I might forget your name. I just want to say that I
(12:37):
think it's normal. And again Iapologize to Jethro for not remembering his name.
And you know, sometimes especially onsets too, right, like the
amount of times I have forgotten someone'sname and I felt really bad. And
I don't know if everyone else doesthis. I'm inclined to think that everybody
else does this. In some oneway or another. If you forget someone's
(12:58):
name and you really want to remembertheir then I go to Instagram and I'll
search up somebody that I know forsure that we have mutual friends with,
or we've worked together with in thepast, et cetera, and I'll just
type their name in and then lookat the person at their followers and following
list and then figure out what theirname is. I was not able to
do this with the jeth Throw though, unfortunately, because my phone was off
(13:18):
the side while we were on setbecause I didn't want it ringing or just
causing me to be distracted. Soyeah, that's just a real thing.
Honestly, I just want to andhe probably won't be hearing this, but
just to let people know as wellthat you know, sometimes they're gonna forget
one's name. It's not the endof the world. It's just, you
(13:39):
know, shit happens. So anyways, the other day as well, going
into more of my everyday life. The other day had my school call me.
My elementary school actually one of myelementary schools, the one that Jack
and I shared, very odd, very random, and it was at like
(14:00):
ten thirty in the morning, soI was like Okay, well, I
don't have a kid that I knowof that attends this school, and I
do not know why they're calling me. I called back and it turns out
that they were inquiring about me comingto talk about my career in the arts,
which I thought was really cool.So they're going to have some guest
(14:24):
speakers come in, some if youwant to call them, alumni from said
school. And I was contacted regardingthat. So I thought that was really
cool, and I will be talkingon behalf of my artistic career and endeavors
up until this point. So I'mvery excited for that opportunity. And yeah,
(14:50):
so that was something random that happenedin my life. But yeah,
so Jack last episode talked about hisfuture endeavors and what he kind of sees
or the foreseeable future and what's inhis corner, and so I also thought
that i'd probably elaborate on what mycurrent plans are for my future. Nothing
(15:15):
is set in stone, nothing isconcrete. However, this is my plan,
and I don't know if everyone hasa plan, but you know,
I like to have a plan.I like to know what I'm doing,
and I like to write down mygoals to prove to myself that not only
are they achievable, but they arecloser than you think. Doesn't mean it's
gonna be easy, but they're closerthan you think. But yeah, So
(15:37):
at the time of this recording,I am twenty two years of age,
and saying that sounds, you know, like to me, I'm like,
am I old? Am I young? Am I? In between that,
like, what how do you defineold? How do you define you being
young? It all depends on yourmentality from how I see it, and
so I see myself as still veryyoung. I see myself in five years
(15:58):
is still very young, and Isay myself in ten years as still young.
But with that being said, Ialso feel as though not everybody knows
at this age you know, howthey want to live their life. And
that's okay, that's very normal.Your twenties even early thirties are about figuring
it out. And who knows.I'm recording this now, and my entire
(16:22):
plan might change come a week fromnow, a month from now, a
year from now, a decade fromnow, or more. Who knows.
I don't. But that's the beautyof it, right, not knowing what's
going to happen, But still stickingthrough it anyways, the reassurance that you
have the chance to keep going andto keep trying new things. I'm twenty
two years old. I what doI want in life? Funny enough,
(16:45):
I actually have it as my screensaverat the moment. My screen saver is
just remember what you want. It'sa solid career, a house, a
wife, kids, and with that, I'll obviously do my mom, do
my mom and dad proud. Andit's at at the bottom of the picture
of the note thing. It justsays, and remember what it takes to
(17:07):
attain it, which is very true. I love acting. I see myself
doing acting until my last dying breath, so that will be ongoing and consistent
throughout my entire life. What mayor may not be consistent throat my last
days on this earth is real estate. I've mentioned it a gazillion times.
I love it. It's great.I'm learning a lot, very interesting,
(17:30):
and it's a fucking hustle. It'sa hard working industry. It pays off
really well if you know what you'redoing, and that goes with everything in
life, right. But it's justfinding your niche and coming to realize what
you're good at. But also whatyou enjoy. There's got to be a
balance with it, right. Youdon't want to go into it like a
job, potentially a nine to fiveand feel like shits and get paid a
lot, or feel amazing but getpaid pennies. I mean, honestly,
(17:53):
it's about happiness. So if youlove your job and you don't get paid
a lot, and you love yourlife, they're good for you. I
have no say into how you shouldlive your own life, because that is
your life and that's your happiness. How I find my happiness is working now
at a restaurant, saving a lotof money, investing, putting it aside,
(18:15):
buying a property, building on it, slash, renovating it in doing
so, renting it out, allwhile I'm still living with my parents,
because that's just how I'm gonna savemoney. My parents have been so nicest
as to confirm that they're a okaywith this and very supportive, which is
fantastic because support is absolutely a mustwith anything, whether that's from your family,
(18:37):
your friends, or someone close toyou. And if you have the
drive, if you have the likethe psyche to go and drive without all
that support, you are a beastthat should not be reckoned with. And
honestly, sometimes those are the peoplethat are succeed the most because they have
(18:57):
literally nothing to lose, and that'swhy they show it show it up one
thousand percent better than anyone else.Anyways. Yeah, so doing that saving
money working, Come about a yearfrom now, I should start in my
real estate career under a brokerage andworking hard, hard, hard for the
(19:18):
next three to four years minimum.Hopefully within that time, ideally I find
somebody that I come to share mylife with and my goals, and together
we can share with each other howwe find our own happiness and that just
makes us happier even together. Bythat point, I would be probably I
(19:41):
don't know, like twenty five, twenty six years old. That's again this
is an ideal manner, working, working, working, get married between the
ages of twenty eight and thirty five. That's again an ideal scenario. Have
kids, and hopefully we have atleast two kids by my forties, a
(20:02):
very strong real estate career or actingcareer, whatever comes to fruition. I'm
open to it all and just workingand making sure that my family is secure,
safe and well off. That goesfor my media family with my partner
in the future, as well asmy kids. And I also go for
(20:22):
my mother, my father, myone sister, my other sister, any
other family members that just need help. And that also goes for the homies,
to my friends. I want tobe able to support people that have
changed my life for the better andcontinue to support them to show them my
gratitude. Yeah, and that's myplan. In terms of where I'm staying
or where I want to live,I don't know. With our economy and
(20:45):
everything that's going on right now,I don't know if I want to say
in Canada, I do. Ido have a strong connection here. I've
lived here my whole life and Ilove it. I love the people that
are here with me. But alsoI'm not a posted to change for living
purposes or working purposes and then justcoming here for part of the year,
(21:06):
most of the year living somewhere else. The States have definitely tempted me with
how much more affordable housing is thereand other expenses, but we'll see what
happens again in the near future. It's a little heavy, little rant,
(21:30):
but yeah, I'm excited to havea family. I'm excited to have kids.
I am very grateful for every daythat I get to wake up and
continue showing the world who I amand proving to the people close to me
(21:53):
how important they are in my life. And I feel as though I sometimes
take that for granted, and Ineed to remember that every day is not
promised. And I don't mean tosound make this sound like a very depressing
topic, but gratitude is and beinghumble is a very strong trait that I
(22:17):
need to work on more and morebecause I have so much and I have
so much for support, and Ihave so much love from others that I
receive, and I have so muchlove to give, and I have so
much to show the world and thepeople around me my potential and what I
can do. Yeah, that's alot. Make sure y'all are doing your
(22:41):
to do lists, Make sure y'allare eating well, make sure y'all are
showing love to those that are aroundyou. Make sure you remember that every
day is not promised and you gotto make the most of it. Positivity
is a requirement in any life fullof happiness. So, oh my goodness.
(23:03):
I also just thought of something thatSam Sulik said in the gym.
This is also getting very random, but I mean, that's what this podcast
is all about. Sam said somethingin lines of like what do you say.
He's something like, when you're inthe gym, you'll see someone bigger
or sorry, someone working out andgo, wow, they're bigger than me.
While this is a possibility, ormind yourself, it's because they have
(23:25):
been working out longer in life.I heard that and I was like,
fuck, man, that is that'strue. Just because someone might be quote
unquote bigger than you, whether thatis success or whether that is physically strong
and strength and volume and mass, they're bigger than you, just because they've
been working harder and longer than youdoesn't deter you from realizing your own potential.
(23:52):
You could be bigger than them. You will be bigger than them.
It's just a matter of time,and it's a matter of when you're starting.
Somebody says one day or day one. Yeah, Like fuck. When
you see someone as successful, mostof them probably didn't have it easy.
A lot of them sacrifice probably somuch time, blood, sweat and tears
into investing with the are today. So if you see someone with like I
(24:15):
don't know, and a really expensivecar, a glorious lifestyle, remember that
they worked harder. They worked hardfor longer than probably you have. Instead
of just you know it's coming tojealousy, you should see this person as
a glimpse of how successful you canbecome, your potential in becoming the most
lavish and important person you can be. And that's I think why it's also
(24:37):
important to have idols, people thatyou look up to, role models.
Right, So, yeah, Ithink that's been a while of me talking
