Welcome everyone back to another episode ofDumb and Delicious, the podcast hosted by
Guytano Perritori and Jack Hambilton. Myname is Guitano, and today we are
going to be doing a Valentine's Dayspecial episode because I kind of thought that,
hey, while I am also somebodythat may be celebrating today as a
single person, there are also couplesout there and other single members. So

I thought that I would dedicate anepisode to the single people out there.
So just remember that you might besingle, but you are not alone.
The friends, the family you have, the people around you that care about
you, those are your Valentine's Let'sget right into it. So oh check
in as well, real quick,doing well, had a really good pump
at the gym, and now we'rehere, so let's get right into it.

Basically, I wrote down a coupleof prompts and I just want to
say that, so all the pastValentine's Days, it's been years since I've
had years since I've had a partneror you know, someone to love in
romantic way for Valentine's Day. Sotoday I wanted to dedicate an episode to
remind myself and to also help otherpeople around me that are single, that

are going through a tough time,because loneliness is at an all time high
this year, and I want tomake sure that everybody can still enjoy the
holiday as much as they can.So, yeah, one thing. I
wrote down a couple of things yesterdayto help myself through this day today,
and it's going splendidly well, andI want to share that with you.
So this is what I have.I made sure to open my book,

you know, my journal now onmy to do list, my journal,
and I wrote down three things thatI love about myself, right, three
things that could be. I lovehow smart I am. I love how
big my biceps are. I lovehow I can make good out of a
bad situation. Something like that.Just three things can be. Anything can

be thinking about physically, mentally,spiritually, about you, does not matter.
Three things that you love about yourself, right, And once you have
those three things, then you're gonnago down on a couple lines down on
your journal and now write down threethings that you're grateful for. So that
could be I'm grateful for my family, I'm grateful for my close friends.
I'm grateful for the job that Ihave. Just literally anything. It could

be. I'm grateful for my petDino, who is a lizard. I
don't fucking know the three things thatyou are grateful for that are present in
your everyday life. And now Iwant you to have having those six things
in your journal written down. Makesure you do not put this on a
text on your phone. Write itdown. Just trust me with this.

Write it down. Grab that journal. Now, go to the mirror.
Right, You're gonna look at yourselfin the mirror and you're gonna read aloud
these six things while you are lookingat yourself. This is to remind yourself
that you are special. Whether thatis only you seeing that, whether that
is everyone says that, whether thatis only a couple people see it,
but you are special. And youneed to remind yourself of this. And

looking eye to eye with yourself,you're going to say these six things.
Allowed, so you're gonna say thethree things that you love about yourself,
and you're gonna say the three thingsthat you are grateful for right now.
For the rest of the day,I want you to do the next couple
of things. I want you totake yourself out on a date. Now,
when I say out it does notmean necessarily you have to go somewhere,

but you need to do some kindof activity that makes you happy.
Whether that is going to the moviesby yourself, whether that is going to
the gym by yourself, whether thatis going to a coffee shop and reading
a book, whether that is Idon't know, picking lint out of your
belly button. It doesn't fucking matter. As long as you are doing something
that takes you away from the otherstresses in life, takes you away from

your to do list, Just somethingthat you love to do. And make
sure, if you really want toprogress well, progress better in the future,
you do this on an everyday basis. Anyways, make sure you do
something. So for today, Iwent to go see the new Bob Marley
movie One Love. It was fuckingawesome. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and
I also went to the gym,and those two things com mine that's my

date and I have had a greatday so far. But yeah, and
then you also want to treat yourself, whether that is on your quote unquote
date or whether that is later onor beforehand. Treat yourself to a happy
meal. And I don't mean onefrom McDonald's I mean, just eat something
that makes you happy. This couldbe a sweet treat, this could be

your guilty pleasure meal, but somethingthat you love to eat. If you
have to cook it, great,if you have to go order it,
great regardless. Something to make youfeel warm inside and make you feel loved
for yourself. Make your stomach happy, you know, make your stomach feel
loved. You know that thing's growlingall day. You've been working hard,
right, I need you to enjoysomething and eat a delicious, scrumbly umptious

meal. Now. Once you're donethose once you're done the meal, once
you're doing your date. At theend of the night, I just need
you to go back to your journal, look at those six things again,
and after experiencing this day, Iwant you to find three things more that
you love about yourself and three thingsthat you're grateful for. And if it's

harder to do these these again andto do three different ones for each,
I want you to write down threethings that you learned about yourself today,
because today was a day of selfdiscovery and you are proud of it.
You are proud that you took yourselfout on a date, because you use
this time to remind yourself about allthe fun things in life that bring you
joy. Today is your day,and today you went on the best day

ever. And you want to knowwhy that is. That's because who else
knows you better than yourself. Youwere able to do everything you wanted to
do to a certain limit, ofcourse, but you were able to do
everything you wanted to do because youwere in control of it and because it
was no one else but you toenjoy it. You might have gone through

some downs, you might have gonethrough some ups, regardless, you celebrated
alone. And it's those things inlife that are going to help you progress
and grow as a person. Wemight feel lonely, we might feel alone
today, but just remember, andit sounds cheesy, but if you do
not love yourself for who you are, how the fuck are you going to

love somebody else? Seriously, tellme, if you cannot accomplish the first
mission, how are you going torank up? If you can't complete step
one, how are you going tofinish the project? That's all I have
