(00:02):
A name you saw at the endcredits every week on a million shows,
but especially on shows that had AaronSpelling on it. E Duke Vincent,
Hi, I'm James Logenior's is theDynasty to the Kolby's after show? You

(00:23):
know on the show we like Chastle. You know, we always like to
salute creators, producers, writers ifwe can. And E Duke Vincent was
a name. I love the anything, but the initial in the front is
my name. Love it three namedperson like myself, James Loungener, I
love it. I didn't anything abouthim, but he passed away last month,

(00:46):
February tenth, twenty twenty four.I want to look him up a
little bit and see see who heis. Kind of you may not know
who he is either, so Ithought, that's my turn. Look one
of the things I love. He'sa fellow Tourian. I'm a Taurus or
is he? He's April thirtieth. He was born in nineteen thirty two,
so he lived a nice long life. But I was like, I just

(01:10):
again, don't know anything about him. So he dude. Vincent was even
his birth name. He was bornEdward Ventimilia, and I was thinking is
he related to Milo the actor wason you know This is Us and Gilmourt
Girls, where just Baby's a commonItalian name. So I'm assuming he is

(01:33):
Edward for whatever. He just madea name for so many So he was
a producing partner with Aaron Spelling.Obviously. He was ninety one when he
passed. Married a couple of times, married three times, a couple of
kids. But he participated. Lookat the shows that his name at the
end of Dynasty, Dinasty two,Charmed, Melrose Place, Beverly Hills,

(01:57):
Lown two, one oh seventh,Heaven Vegas. Matt Houston wrote a song
show matth Houston, excuse me,Charlie's Angels, Sunset Beach, Savannah,
I look, oh, but allthese shows. He was also a writer.
He had a novel called Mafia Summer. Didn't know that and of that

(02:22):
at all? And his last wifewas an actress who was in Buck Roberson,
a twenty fifth centurymember that show too, add Matt Houston. You know
shows I totally forgot. I totallyso I haven't so I took out that.
You know something. I have ashow called have You Heard of Me?

(02:44):
It's an audio show where I pickout things I haven't. I remember
that you guys may not know about, or you may remember, but no
one talks about. So check outthat show. And I got some ideas
while doing this show for future showsof that show. I love how that
informed stuff. I was like thatshow that show. Yeah, AnyWho he

(03:07):
did he did, also did Hotel, He did Models, Inc. He
did mallby Shores, Titans. Imean it just it's amazing. But forty
years, I mean he was doingthis stuff. And excuse me, my

(03:29):
voice all of a sudden is goingout, but I mean clearing for us
on clearing now, but that's kindof weird. Obviously my voice is doing
it now. But I mean hishis life. He also had you know,
did the that you're talking any winner? Should I say that for you
guys? Is he did win Emmiesof course for his work, he did

(03:50):
miniseries. Uh and he also produced, produced, and the band played on
which I didn't realize that actually, which was sitting on the ape Siddemic.
It was a book that had beenwritten by Randy Schultz, and I know

(04:10):
he produced the mini series then wedidn't realize that. Actually it was very
cool. But I just want togive a little shut out to him because
again he had a hand and producingpartners. So as one was asking you
like who is it? What doesthe producer do? Because I produce projects
from producer people produce projects. Aproducer role is very important. No,

(04:33):
you don't see him on screen. No, they don't even money. Producers
don't even write what's on screen. But they help get the show on the
air. They help with the budgeting, you know what's the budgets, They
help with sometimes casting who you seeon air, who the directors are.

(04:55):
They helped keep the show moving andgrooving and growing. We helping you they
can keep the show moving forward andworking. I mean there's a lot.
It's a producers were a lot ofdifferent hats, from minute things to major
things. And yes there's some producerswho a lot of times their name is

(05:19):
on the mast head. That's basicallywhat they do. But either way,
whether it's on the mask or not, his name was synonymous or television.
His name brought some gravitas after awhile to projects. So you saw e
Duke Vincent Aaron spelling name. Youalmost do this, you know, all
kount production was going to be whatkind of show was going to do?

(05:42):
And then it had some caliber init. And when it comes to marketing
and it comes to you know,it's in all manners, in all manners.
So we salute e Duke Vincent.Maybe you rest in paradise things for
all your hard work and your namebeing lent to all these shows. And
maybe you and Aaron Speller are havinga drink right now in heaven thinking of

(06:06):
