whole family. And I was thinkingabout how brilliant her entrance was. It
was grounding naturally, And it's funnybecause it wasn't because it wasn't Joan Collins
in the finale, but it isshown Collins in the season premiere. So

just for those who just don't rememberhow brilliant this was, Blake's on trial
for killing his gay son, Steven'slover. This is the this is the
early eighties, and it's the gayThe gay thing wasn't fully accepted yet gay

life was still on the fringes.This was salacious, This was soap opry.
It was, you know, thewhole thing for a prior time sol
and you know it's Blake a monsteror it was ill or was it or
was it truly an accent? Didhe mean to kill him? You know,
he didn't like his son's sexuality,the whole the manly did the whole

thing. And a call of awitness to come to the stay hand bothering
court. That giant black and whitehat, the sleek outfit, the shades,
it was genius. She walks inand first she's like, well then

face, they show Blake's face,but it's Falon, who goes, that's
my mother. Suddenly we're like,what mother, because well, of course
their mother had been gone. Shewas an Alexis was not. On the

first season, they showed Jeff,they show Steven, they show Blake,
they show Andrews, they show Crystalkind of like what like they just kind
of this guy like what They showher walking towards the stand. Now that
wasn't Joan Collins. There's someone elsehad Cassie yet so then season two opening,

you're like, okay, I'm ready, and natural calls in the role.
She disrupts everything whenever. But thescene that I love is w after
the try, after the actual shetestifies in the trial and people everybody's head

home and she's alone with her twochildren, and we learn it's been sixteen
years she's they've been together, andthe writing's a good cause Fallin, You're
right, it's alright, it's biggest. It's been established they're not close.

It's it's just being established that Fallonfeels hurt by her in the past.
It's established that when Fallen says,are you here to see me too?
That there's some kind of dynamic,you know, a favorite child versus non
favorite child, mother daughter. Itwas clear when she came back to she

loves Stephen and that she was hereto help him, but Fallen felt left
out. It was all established justthose few scenes in that episode, like
it was like, wow, okay, we're getting some that's a good storytelling
is and then we get the greatAlexis quips. Fallon tries to go for

her mother, and one of myfavorite lines of all of Dynasty Alexis says
to Fallon, I'm sorry, I'msorry. Now my Alexa comes on awful
like quiet Alexa, Alexa, quietyeat Alexis Alexa so close together. I

believe I believe that it is kinof funy. I believe that it in
