how you doing?

What's shaken?

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Nothing much right now? So the Elmont Social you guys
are going to be performing their July fourth super Patriotic Show.
Are you familiar with I'll passle it off?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Of course quite a few times in my life?

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Really have you?

Speaker 2 (00:17):
So?

Speaker 1 (00:17):
I always like to ask what are some of your
favorite places to go to? Our things to do when
you're here?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
What is the old school Mexican food place that I love? Oh?
Is it Alan j Two names? Yes?

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Yeah, nailed it? Did you know that I'll Passo just
officially got named the boot capital of Texas.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
That's amazing.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Yeah, you're gonna have to get some boots when you're
down here. I just was talking to some guys from
lu Casey the other day and they actually have a
bootline with Parker McCollum. And you just released a new
song with with Parker. Hopefully you'll be playing that on
July fourth. Is this thing working? Is that one that?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
That's a new song.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yeah, it's with Parker McCollum. New song. Is this thing working?
It's out now? I hope you're playing on your radio station.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yeah, I actually love that song. I kind of feel that.
I'm like, I don't know who gave me a mic
as a DJ, but they did. They trusted me enough.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Yeah, you can definitely as a DJ, you can definitely
feel that, right.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Oh, definitely. What's your favorite song to perform live? Is
there one that just kind of always gets the crowd going?

Speaker 2 (01:15):
I think probably like Emma Arms instead. Oh I love
that song. Yeah, definitely that song of course. And you know,
just the old school stuff always gets people going. We'll
be playing plenty of the old school stuff on July fourth.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Oh sweet, Yeah, that song. My husband and I recently
started taking two step lessons together, kind of like our
date night, and they really like to play that song.
And yeah, that is definitely one of my favorites. You know,
when you're playing your music, what do you hope like
fans take away from your music?

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Well, I'll say just you know, it's music for everybody.
I actually fall in love to it, hopefully make love
to it, hopefully not fight too much about it when
it's over, right, I just want people to dance, have
a good time, and come together. That's what it's all about.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
So my last question the Elmont Social. It's kind of
like a beach party vibe. Have you ever played at
a venue like that?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
I played a bunch of beach parties, So yeah, I'm
ready perfect.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Yeah, I'm excited. They had their first country music show
there last week and it looked like a really good
turn out. Lots of fun boots or chank class your choice, right.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Okay, yeah, I'll do. I had an under six foot
basketball team named the Flying chalk List, So chop.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Me off guard with that one man. Oh and by
the way, heartbreak in Spanish? Is this? Uh more? More?
I know your your your song Heartbreak. I'm like, I'm
going to teach her. I wonder if you ever learned
what heartbreak in Spanish? Is this summer Pokito, I know
you never made it to Mexico. I just finished hearing

the song, so I was like, well, I'll teach them
a little bit. And since it is a fourth of
July show fireworks in Spanish?

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Is this what this? All? Right? I got it? We'll
be watching for some queas.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
