thank you for your mercy, your grace. I plead the
blood of Jesus, every every soul God tonight that's listening in,
and we bless them. We bless them right now in

right now, Father, God, we just humbly come before you
right now. God. I pray that the word would come
forth God the way that you want it God, that

bless you all. Amen, Amen, Tomorrow tonight, tonight. We're talking

about grace tonight, and the actual understanding of grace has
been neglected in the church. It's either all the way
where where they portray grace as a ticket to sin,

(06:02):
a ticket to sin where they have this sloppy grace
message where it doesn't matter what you do. Once saved,
always saved, and nothing can happen to you, you know,
if you, if you, if you sin right. And then
there's the opposite side of things where everything is by

(06:24):
works you, you know, a terror of God, not the
fear of God. But they they preach a terror of God,
and that's wrong too. Okay, But tonight we're going to
talk about what grace is and how grace works and

(06:46):
what it really means. Amen, Amen, Ope in your Bibles
if you will, to Romans not even there yet, to
Romans chapter Louis, chapter five, Allelujah to Romans chapter five,
listen to this. Therefore being justified by faith, now we're

(07:10):
talking about we're talking about saving grace, Amen, and saving
faith in this instance. But we'll get into more in
a minute. Therefore being justified by faith. We have peace
with God. What does that mean? Peace with God? It
doesn't mean I just feel peaceful or I feel a peace.

(07:31):
It means that we don't have mnity with God, that
we're on peaceful terms with God. We're not enemies with
God because before we were saved, before we knew Jesus
we were enemies of God. Amen. Therefore, being justified by faith,

(07:51):
we have peace with God. Amen. We're on peaceful terms
with God through our Lord, who Jesus Christ, by whom
all also we have access by faith into this grace
wherein we stand and rejoice in the hope of the

(08:12):
glory of God. What does that mean, having into this
grace wherein we stand? In other words, they're standing, or
we are standing by the power of grace. We're able
to We're able to endure hardship because of grace. It's

(08:37):
the grace that empowers us to walk the Christian life
without giving into sin at every turn. It is the
power of grace that empowers us not to just fall
into any kind of temptation. Amen. Let me let me

(09:00):
read this again. Therefore, being justified by faith, we have
peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. It's through
him that we have peace with the Father, by whom
also we have access by faith into this grace wherein
we stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory.

(09:20):
And not only so, not only that right, but we
glory in tribulations. Do you glory in the tribulations? You
go through. Probably not neither do I. But he says
we glory in tribulations. Also knowing that tribulation works patience,
patients experience and experience hope, and hope makes not a

(09:43):
shame because the love of God is shed abroad in
our hearts by the Holy Ghost, which is given unto us.
So you see three things here, faith, grace, and the
Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, Amen lujah. And then there's
another kind of grace that's saving grace, the ability to

(10:06):
walk out the Christian life. And we'll get more into that.
But there's another dimension of grace that I need to
talk about, and this is a grace towards your ministry.
You you have to have the grace to carry your anointing.

(10:33):
You have to have a grace to carry your anointing.
You can if you don't have the grace, you can
really get damaged. Amen, you can get damaged if you
don't have the grace hallelujah, to walk out the anointing. Listen,

(10:57):
let me, let me, let me explain. Let me explain
here six but onto every one of us is given grace.
Listen to this. According to the measure of the gift
of Christ, what is the gift of Christ. What's the
gift of Christ? What is that about? Now we know

(11:19):
there's nine gifts of the spirit. We see that in
First Corinthians, chapter twelve where it talks about the you know,
gifts of healing, speaking in tongues, all of those different
different graces. Amen, all those not graces, I'm sorry, spiritual gifts,

(11:39):
gifts that are given by the Holy Spirit. And they
and they have their own grace too, you know, there's
a grace involved with that as well. But listen to this.
What it says here is but everyone who's given to
grace according to the measure. Because there's a measure, and

(11:59):
there's the gift of Christ. What is this about, this
measure of the gift of Christ. What is that about? Well,
we see that in verse eleven. It says, and he
gave some apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers.
If you want to if you if you're called, you're

(12:21):
called to that office. Okay, if you're called to the office.
Because most people who are really prophets didn't want to
be profits, you know, most people who wanted to be
Most people who are called to be prophets didn't really
want to be profits. They wanted to be something else.

(12:44):
That's that's just you know, it's not that they rejected it.
It's just that wasn't what they that's it wasn't their choice.
They were called to it, okay, And you can see
that throughout scriptures, like you know, you see people like that.
But anyway, I'm not going to get into the details

(13:05):
of that right now. Hallelujah. So what is the gift
of Christ? Amen? And what is the grace to carry
the mantle? The grace is the strength and the ability
to carry the weight of that anointing, because those those anointings,

(13:27):
depending on the measure of the gift of Christ, can
destroy a person if they're not carrying it with the
right grace. If you're not grace to be an apostle,
don't try to carry the anointing of an apostle. Don't
try to walk in that office, because it could destroy you.

(13:48):
The same as being a prophet. If you're not called
to be a prophet and you try to step out
and be a prophet, Amen, that can really hurt you.
If you are trying to be a pastor, a pastor
and I don't mean just a leader of a church,
because you can be an elder of any kind and

(14:11):
be a leader of a church. Amen. You don't have
to be a pastor. But if you are a real pastor,
all right, If a real pastor, someone who's called to
tend to the to the flock, amen to people, and
they have this incredible patience with people, They have an
incredible love for people, and they just they they're able

(14:34):
to deal with like family things and all that stuff,
all the stuff that comes with people. Amen, they're really
good at dealing with that. But if you don't have
the grace for that, to carry that anointing, it will
drive you batty. It will tear you down, it will

(14:55):
wear you out. There are probably a lot of people
who are who are trying to function in the office
of a of a pastor who are not pastors, and
it's hurting them. It's hurting their families, it's hurting their marriages,
it's hurting everything about them because they don't really have

(15:16):
the grace for it. They might have a grace to
be a prophet, all right, and and an elder, because
there's there there's there's there's there's It works like this
you know, there's there's deacons and there's elders. Deacons are
kind of like help ministries. Right, did you know you

(15:36):
could be an apostle deacon or you could be a apostle, uh,
a prophet deacon versus an elder. Anyway. I don't know
if that's one hundred percent right. That's just my theory.
But I know that if you're an apostle, prophet, evangelists, pastor,

(15:57):
or teacher, that that is a kind of an elder
in the house. Amen, that's a type of elder. That's
a type of elder. And so you could be an
apostle running a church, but if you try to do
it like a pastor, it can crush you. It could

(16:18):
because you're not you're not equipped, you're not graced for
that for that office. Okay, you are. You are an apostle,
You are a prophet. You must function as a prophet.
You must function as an apostle. And if you try
to be a pastor the way pastors pastor, that's that's

(16:43):
not your function. That's why there should be a plurality
of leadership in the local house, a local assembly. But
that's a that's another another deal. Man in the same
way with teachers. An evangelist. If you're if you're not
grace to be an evangelist, you're gonna end up running
away from doing it because you don't have the grace

(17:05):
and the love to deal with unsaved people. Amen. It
takes a special grace to be able to draw the people,
and there's a special anointing for them, And if you
try to carry the anointing without the grace, it can
hurt you. Amen, the same way as a teacher. Amen,

(17:29):
Bible teacher, in the name of Jesus. So this is
the other thing, Okay. So your grace helps you carry
Your grace helps you carry your anointing. Amen, your call,

(17:49):
your purpose. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, Thank you Jesus. But listen
to this. This is also important. So we understand that
it's a supernatural endowment, okay, but also that we see

(18:10):
this too in Ephesians chapter two. Still in Ephesians, go
to Ephesians chapter two, verse eight. Listen to this too.
Our salvation is by grace, and I believe that you
know if you thank you for that seed. I believe

(18:32):
and I know for a fact that if you are
are born again. Okay. If you're born again, you have
a grace to do the works. You have a grace
to live a sinless life. You have a grace to

(18:52):
be a living sacrifice. Ay man, But listen to this
all right for okay? So I mean Hallelujah eight nine
for listening to this in Ephesians chapter two, okay, verse
eight for by grace, you are saved through faith. By grace,

(19:18):
you are saved through faith. And what's our faith? Our
faith is in the Son of God. It is in Jesus.
It's in his reserme not just his death burial, but
also his resurrection. Amen. And that not of ourselves. It
is the gift of God. So what is grace. Grace
is a gift. It is the gift of God, not

(19:43):
just the salvation, but the grace to walk out that salvation. Amen.
Is a gift, not of works, lest any man should boast. Okay,
So our works don't save us. Okay. There's no thing
that you check off on a list you ever seen.

(20:04):
I'm not going to go there. But there's there's religions,
not denominations because they're not Christian, but they claim to
be Christian, that they have a checklist. They have to
do all these different things, and you know they're trying
to get saved by works, and it doesn't work. It
doesn't happen. Not of works list. Any man should boast, right, Amen,

(20:29):
So because you know in boasting just shows pride, and
so through works. If our works were by our salvation
was by works, then we would have room to fall
into pride. Amen. And that's not our place. Amen. I
mean also in Romans, let's go back to Romans. Thank

(20:55):
you Jesus. Romans six. Listen to this verse twelve. Listen

(21:15):
to the Romans chapter six. Let not sin therefore reign
or have authority or dominion, right have it. Let it
not reign like a king. Let it not reign in
your mortal body that you should obey it in the
lusts thereof, neither yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness

(21:44):
unto sin, but yield yourselves unto God. You have a choice.
You don't have to sin. Amen, yield yourselves unto God
as those that are alive from the yad. Amen, you
were dead, now you're alive, and your members as instruments

(22:08):
of righteousness unto God. And I'm going to show you
something that is so amazingly deep. For sin shall not
have dominion over you. For you are not under the law.
You're not under the law, but under grace. What does

(22:30):
that mean? Grace is your law. I'm going to say
something that might offend some people or make you question.
It's just a fact. I realize something. Why is it

(22:51):
that the church meets on Sunday, but the Ten Commandments
says to meet on Saturday on the Sabbath? Why why
is that? And I've had that debate that question with

(23:14):
at least one brother, and I realized, we're not under
the law. Does that mean we don't keep the commandments? No,
we keep the commandments because we have the grace to
do it. Now, Grace is our law. That's why we

(23:37):
don't fall into sin, because sin the law, the whole law.
Everything that has to do about the law, everything that
has to do about the law, exposes us to sin
in a way. Do you understand the laws holy? It's good,

(24:00):
but the unrighteousness that's in us, Amen, it still works
in our mortal bodies. I'm sorry, but that's what it
says in Romans chapter eight. I mean, in Romans chapter seven,
it still works in our members, but we we kill it,
we crucify it by grace and by grace alone, because

(24:26):
grace has become our law. So instead of just not
killing somebody, you can not hate them either. You can
love your enemies. It's not a law, it's it's a commandment,

(24:49):
but it's not the law. Do you understand. Do you
see the difference. Grace is our law, the love of God,
which is through grace, through the power of grace, the
grace of God. Grace has become our law. So we
don't have to sin. We don't sin. We don't. We're not.

(25:13):
We're not. We're not. We're not subject to sin because
it's the law. The law makes us subject to sin
because we can't keep the law. I mean, we honor
our parents, But if you've ever dishonored your parents, you've

(25:33):
broken the Ten Commandments. You've broken every law. Do you
understand what I'm saying. If you've ever hated your your neighbor,
or your brother or whomever, you've broken every one of
the commandments, because it's the same as killing somebody. If

(25:55):
you've ever lusted in your hearts, it's the same as
committing adultery, you've broken every commandment, all ten are broken.
If you've broken one, you've broken the whole law. You're done.
You understand grace has become the law. Amen, And grace

(26:21):
is the empowerment to keep the commandments. Because when the
Commandments is a law, When the Commandments is a law,
it exposes your weakness. Let me explain. When it's law,

(26:47):
then it's up to you to do it through your
own strength. Do you get it? Do you get that
when you're doing it as law, you're doing it in
your strength. When you're doing it by grace, you're doing

(27:07):
it by God's strength. That works in you. Think about
that for a minute. Think about that. So you're not
under law, you're under grace. That's what it says. That's
what it says right here. And I know that there's
people who would like who would you know, choke on that.

(27:29):
That's the truth. For sin shall not have dominion over you.
For you are not under the law, but under grace.
So we still use the law to know to discern

(27:50):
between right and wrong. Right, we still use the law
to know, Hey, you're not supposed to do that, but
we're not under the power of the law. Because if
we're under the power of the law. We become under
the power of sin because we're working in the flesh,

(28:12):
not through grace. Amen. Amen, chew on that for a
little bit. Amen, chew on that for a little bit.
And so this is the other thing. This is the
other thing. Is grace is the way we access everything

(28:37):
from God, the faith. You can't have faith without grace.
If you don't have grace, you don't have real face
fa faith face. If you don't have grace, you don't
have real faith. Because faith is not of you, it's

(29:02):
of God, and it comes from God. It is a gift. Amen.
So we don't we don't. We don't do anything of ourselves.
It's all from God. Amen. Listen to this. What does
it say here in Hebrews Chapter four, verse SIXTEENIU says, therefore, boldly,

(29:23):
come boldly unto the throne of grace. We have that
we were in front of Jesus and the Father in
the throne room of grace. Amen. So what does it say?
It says, let us therefore come boldly, Amen, come boldly

(29:48):
unto the throne, the throne of grace, that what we
may obtain mercy and find grace to help to help us.
Number One we find mercy, amen, from everything you know,

(30:08):
because we need mercy. We desperately need God's mercy because
we're not perfect. We are not one hundred percent capable.
You understand what I'm saying. We're handy, capable people, right,

(30:29):
we're trying. That's the thing about grace, that we obtain
mercy because we need mercy. Amen, and find grace to
help in time of need. So if you're in need,
don't feel ashamed, but run to the throne of grace,

(30:56):
run to the feet of Jesus, fall down at the
feet of Gene Jesus, and let him know. I need
your mercy and I need your help because he's he
gives abundantly. What does he say? And this is so
beautiful too. I wasn't planning on this one. But let's
go to thank you Father God, thank you Jesus and Isaiah.

(31:23):
And this is this is going to help some people here, amen,
but I can find it. Oh, here, it is here,
it is. Seek the Lord well he may be found.

(31:44):
This is verse six of Isaiah fifty five. Very powerful.
Seek the Lord well he may be found. Call upon
him while he is near, good news. He's always near.
Let the wicked forsake his way in the unrighteous man
his thoughts. In other words, the way of your doings
and your thoughts. Right, the unrighteous man starts in your

(32:06):
thought life. And let him return unto the Lord, and
he will have mercy. See that's mercy again. Mercy upon
him and to our God, for he will abundantly harden, forgive. Okay,
it's all done, clean, slate right. For my thoughts are

(32:29):
not your thoughts. Neither are your ways my way, says
the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways, and my
thoughts than your thoughts. Amen. For as the rain comes
down in the snow from heaven and returns not thither,
but waters the earth and makes it bring forth and

(32:51):
bud it may give seed to the sore and bread
to the eater. So shall my word, my word be
that goeth fourth out of my mouth. It shall not
return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which
I please. It shall prosper in the thing where to
I sent it. What is he talking about. He's sending

(33:14):
you mercy. He's given you mercy. Mercy. Listen to this,
and he will abundantly pardon. That's that's really grace. Amen,
to give up. But you gotta, you've gotta foresay. It's
not enough to confess your sin. You can confess your

(33:38):
sin all day, but you gotta forsake it. You gotta
forsake it, give it up, give it up because you
don't need it. It's killing you. Your sin, whatever it is, you're, you're,
whatever it is that's going on, it's killing you, whether
you know it or not. Man, sin is a destroyer, Amen,

(34:02):
and grace is available to deliver you from that, especially tonight.

the law, but under grace that is so powerful, so powerful.

And then carrying the carrying of burdens. I know this
is something that maybe you don't want to hear about.
But there's the grace to carry things burdens Tewod Corinthians,
chapter twelve and eight through nine. Listen to this. For

(35:12):
this thing I besought the Lord thrice that it might
depart from me. He was talking about he was going
through warfare, He had a thorn in his flesh. He
had a spirit of infirmity, right, and he calls it
a messenger or satan. But listen to this, and he said,

(35:34):
unto me, my grace is sufficient for you for thee right.
For my strength is made perfect in weakness, most gladly.
Therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the
power of Christ may rest upon me. So he didn't

(35:58):
get his healing like he wanted to, And that goes
along against a lot of pentecostalism. I know, I know
it rubs me the wrong way a little bit too.
Everybody should get healed, right, But in this instance he

(36:18):
was given a grace to carry it. Amen, to carry
his burden. And then there's the grace to be who
you are in Christ. Amen one Corinthians, chapter fifteen, verse ten.
But by the grace of God I am what I
am he's talking about as an apostle, right, and his

(36:42):
grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain.
But I labored more abundantly. It gives you the ability
to do the work that God called you to. Without
the grace, you couldn't do it. Amen, I labored more
abundily than they all. Yet not I listen to this

(37:04):
but the grace of God which was within me. So
what I'm doing, what I'm doing here right now, with
this teaching, with the prophecy, with the ministry, all of
it is really by grace. I couldn't do this. I

(37:28):
am not the smart I am not smart enough to
handle this in my own strength. It's just it's not
something that's going to happen. Do you know that when
I try to study and figure everything out before I teach.
If I try to figure it out one hundred percent,

(37:50):
it's just not going to happen. I don't actually understand
or get the revelations until we start teaching. I don't
get the revelation until then. That's when it comes. Amen.

(38:10):
When I go to prophesy to people, I don't know
what I'm talking about personally. It's the grace of God
and the anointing and the Holy Spirit. It's not me.
And the other thing is is what's really beautiful too,

(38:31):
is in John one, the Gospel of John, we have
we have a manifold grace. Listen to this from in
verse sixteen and seventeen. And of this fullness we have
received and grace for grace, in other words, go from

(38:55):
grace to grace. Just like we go from faith to faith,
we go from grace to grace. We grow in grace
and we grow in faith. Amen. For the law was
given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
See the law was given. See there's that. There's that

(39:18):
distinction again between the law and grace. When you lived
under the law, it was by your own strength. You
had to try everything you had to do that you
could to make it. And there was no way that
you couldn't not break the law. There was no way

(39:38):
you could not break the ten commandments. Because if you
did it, once it's over, it's done. The only one
who was ever able to do it was Jesus. The
only one who could ever do it was Jesus. He
was without sin, the only one. Everyone else was a

(40:03):
transgressor transgressor transgressor Amen. For the law was given by Moses,
but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Let's pray,

(40:24):
Father God, we thank you for grace. We love you,
Father God tonight. We love you because of the grace,
because of the mercy. We couldn't do this without you. God,
You're what we need. You're the one we need. God,
You're who we need. And we just pray. I just
pray that every person here would receive that revelation in

(40:47):
their heart for the grace of God. And I thank
you for that. God, I thank you for that tonight
in Jesus' mony name. I want to thank those of
