Remember when coffee was just coffee, A routine sip, part
of the two billion cups consumed daily, enough to fill
an Olympic swimming pool every three minutes, same old flavor,
same old routine. For centuries, seventy five percent of coffee
drinkers have settled for mediocrity, masking the taste with sugar
syrups and overpriced add ons. But what if coffee didn't

(03:49):
just promise to be amazing? What if it actually was
Introducing a live coffee the first coffee that tastes as
good as it makes you feel. Meet the coffee that
thinks beyond the cup. Bold, smooth, alive, made from expertly roasted,
top quality beans. A live coffee is smooth, rich, and

(04:11):

to also go into entrepreneurship, sign me up.

Speaker 2 (05:23):

the she Mergens conference, but I also felt that he
should have a space for his individual interview. So on
today Thomas will be sharing with us his journey and
what his experiences are.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Thomas, go ahead and introduce yourself.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
Okay, Thomas Moon.

Speaker 6 (05:47):
I was born with the disability seeple polsy who divenged
my moutles and my speech. But my brain is really
not like by thinking the stuff partiminarly affected. So I'm

(06:08):
a little by me as I grew up in about
the care from for three or four there about eleven
or twelve when I was adopted by the Moon family,
and before that I called it floating one cloud nine.

(06:29):
But because before I was adopted, people told me that
I was stupid, was going nowhere in life just I
wouldn't be avactable my whole life. So after I was adopted,

(06:50):
my new parents and friends and family they supported me.
They told me I can do what I want to do,
and then kurned me take care out there and make
something out of my life. So that's what I did.

(07:12):
I made something make out of myself. I showed the
nasy you said, hey, even though I haven't did aby,
I used the windew or Walcome, that doesn't mean that
nothing's up there that they can't do by other people.

(07:36):
Other people went out they can do, and so I
do that.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
I want to.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
Graduated in high school where the bagelar high school the.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Blooma wow beautiful.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
I went to college to go bangelor degree and business being.

Speaker 5 (08:01):
Technology.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Congratulations, congratulations, So Thomas, what I can do. What I
can do is we can just put up your profile picture,
so you don't have to have any issues with the
phone and everyone can just hear your voice, so that
way it will be easier for you.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Is that okay?

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Ye? So let me put your picture up and you
can continue speaking. That way you don't have to worry
about looking into the phone and you can continuous. Everyone
can see. Thomas actually wrote a book as well, so
that is Thomas is.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
What he's sharing here with us on the set on today.
So he was born with uh the.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Condition, but instead of allowing the condition, which is already
a disabling condition, to keep him disabled mentally and psychologically,
he pushed me on his own physical all right, his
own physical and today we have Thomas as he is

(09:14):
sharing his story on today, So Thomas, you can continue.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
Yes, the weather, I got doing to college.

Speaker 6 (09:24):
I want done there, so I started to come on businesses.
The first business it was good, elected it wasn't bringing
in just wasn't bringing the income and needed. But the
busining was going the websites and like doing compuness stuff,

(09:50):
and then I loved it.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
It just wasn't it wasn't doing what I needed to do.

Speaker 6 (09:58):
So I decided I need to take a step back
and focus on one my pension was.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
And on my month to my life.

Speaker 6 (10:13):
People like they tell me, they love my story, they
love the way I speak. They just want me to
get out there and show a losen Hey. Even though
I have a disability, I can do whatever anyone else

(10:34):
can do fore in his life. So that's what I did,
and I say what their passion? Now I do more
divensional speaking, and I decided to write a book which
is called The Squeaky Witre Wow. So and I just

(11:00):
keep kind of going from there. There's tender life, my
ups and down like anyone else, but I keep I
put through those struggles, keep pushing forward because I know
there's more outdre for me. And I'm going forward right

(11:23):
and done. Yet I'm gonna keep going. I got right
bigger and by the things in front of me. My
goal is to I'm already there in my own way,
but my goal is to.

Speaker 5 (11:40):
Be as big as tone environments.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
This bigger Come on you go, you go.

Speaker 6 (11:49):
All those fat people out there, Yes, just kind of
show the people.

Speaker 5 (11:55):
Then bring people not just me, but mere people like.

Speaker 6 (12:03):
Behind me so they can be in the same situation.
I mean they can Benefe the high glory of this
world and benefen everything naked again, right, and not justlmine

(12:24):
that so to what they think the world tells them. Man,
they can only do this must because of their situation
or like because of the shows.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
That do not go too far.

Speaker 6 (12:43):
Their limits. So they just keep them in this like
the same situation. Right, I show people that that's not true,
that you go with and just set your mind to yes,
when you can give up, you just gotta push because

(13:08):
to give it that trick and just keep going and it.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
All come in the plain.

Speaker 6 (13:15):
Things start happen me you thought will never happen, and
that be the greatest thing you done your life would
ever be. So my Messistan is to keep pushing forward,
the matter of what you're situating. You're black, white, disability, gender,

(13:42):
whatever it is, right, just keep pushing board and go
for no matter of what anyone else says. You know
the truth, you believe.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
If you send your mind to it, then you should
go from.

Speaker 6 (14:00):
You would if you believe. Let's say you can find
my mountain. I'll just painting you silly. You can't do it,
but you believe yourself, then you can cind that mountains.

(14:20):
You go ahead, e find that meltain. You may find
you may not make it to the dumb, or you
may make it to the dumb.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
At least you mean it.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
I mean it.

Speaker 6 (14:35):
That little bit you show people more than what they
thought you could do. That's kinda That one is the
you're coming your father, That's what shows who you.

Speaker 5 (14:53):
Are, what kind of bunting you are.

Speaker 6 (14:56):
And then it shows that you all live in life
to the first man, what your situation is.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
Indeed, indeed, wow, this is indeed a tremendous story. Uh,
to be born with this disability, then to go into
foster care.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
How long were you in foster care? I was.

Speaker 6 (15:24):
And went in weirdly and went in at to wait,
and then I went.

Speaker 5 (15:30):
Back to my biologic about a year or two later.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Okay, he.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
Decided to take me and my half brother. We had
the same mom living that he stole off.

Speaker 6 (15:53):
And when atturn the Florida, we start there McDonald's and
we all in the food. We stand down there eat
and my dad says he had to go to their bathroom.
So big kids, we were playing, having fun. We didn't
think nothing about it. A couple hour times he never

(16:18):
came back. So the people need to was one aware
where the parents were all that, so then up calling
the police and whoever, and they end up pointing us
back in about the kids, and how was.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Your half brother?

Speaker 6 (16:39):
It's about five or six, I think I went back
I father gear of Florida, and I was the front
the gear to about eleven or twelve.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Wow, And and what what of your half brother?

Speaker 5 (16:59):
Perhap?

Speaker 6 (17:00):
And we we want the lucky thing. A lot of
kids the bult Thegear just split up or the not
adopted together. We were benefited that we went to buth
the gear together and we ended up being adopted in

(17:21):
the like together both for both in the movie family Now.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
So the one family took you and your brother in. Yeah, wow,
that is indeed a blessing.

Speaker 5 (17:34):
Me.

Speaker 6 (17:35):
I'm only one with the disabilities right by Bolois, he's
without the disability's table. I called it, but he talked.
He took the dim path of me that a lot
of kids about the gear to get the situation a world,

(18:02):
So he took that bad still believing the world. Then again,
no one's in this corner, so we just.

Speaker 5 (18:13):
He just going in.

Speaker 6 (18:16):
And deserted us. Right is the bad of the bird,
the bad and support.

Speaker 5 (18:28):
Believe in that I came knew.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
That was you know, that is totally commendable because in
your case, you could have decided, you know, to not
continue with life and just just be there. But you
choose to do something with the opportunity that God has
given you to come into the Moon family, a family
that was a support system that made your brother might

(18:53):
have not seen it that way, but you saw it
as a great opportunity and you took the better route.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
And that shows a lot about the person that you
are on today.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
And I hope and pray that your brother see that
what you've accomplished.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
Have you guys stayed in touch?

Speaker 6 (19:15):
I have my belief, still have faithful be tell once
in a while, but okay, we don't say too much.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
I say.

Speaker 5 (19:30):
I know what he's doing, things they're doing. We tell
once in a while.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Okay, it's not like you to disappear.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
And that's good. That's good you stay in touch to
social media. Wow, Thomas, your story is definitely an uplifting story.
Your story is a story to show people who feel
like they have nothing, you know, but they can use
you know what they have, which is you know, for

(20:01):
you was utilizing your intellect, using your brain using you
know what skills to God has given you, Uh, the
will first.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
Of all to live, the will to want.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
To succeed, you know, to achieve what many who do
not have a disability, you know, have not even achieved.
And I like what you said about being a motivational speaker,
you know, to bring hope to others, you know, to
to help leave an imprint in this world. All right,

(20:37):
And so your book that you wrote, Uh, tell us
about the book, the.

Speaker 5 (20:43):
Book Dina it goes.

Speaker 6 (20:46):
So just my dipperennesperiens deal with them? Did living on
my own go through education, employment and transportection issues? Didn't
way like the village him, didn't like that interest everything

(21:10):
life situations, How I overcame them and how you as
a person can overcome.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
Whatever whatever life throws at you.

Speaker 6 (21:26):
And I give you ways to possibly make it.

Speaker 5 (21:31):
Do it.

Speaker 6 (21:32):
So that good wall that may seem in your way,
if you get bust to that wall, you just have
to you have to take the steps to make it
happen like that, go ahead, I give you ways to

(21:56):
do that.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
So it's like a self help guide for those with
disability in a wheelchair.

Speaker 6 (22:04):
Yes, And it's not just for people with disability, even
though most of it based like the disability.

Speaker 5 (22:14):
But anyone in this well.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
Anyone who gets this book should be able to feel
empowered from it.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
Yes, okay, great, great, So I say this a lot.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
We take advantage of things that we have until we
realize we don't have it anymore. Thomas didn't have a choice.
This is what he was born with, so it's his life.
So he decided to do more with his life and
not let the disability keep him back from achieving. Now

(22:51):
you go to living on your own, taking care of yourself,
dealing with everyday life experiences that everyone else deals with,
getting under transportation, getting to and from.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
Where you go in education, school, and work.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
So you're doing all of this, you know, while living
with a disability, which means for those who don't have
a disability and are procrastinating, this book is a book
I would say you should give to someone who feels
like they don't have anything to offer or anything to

(23:29):
give in this life. They don't think there's any meaning
to their life. I believe reading Thomas Moon book would
definitely be an eye opener, all right, to bring the
shift that is necessary to catapult someone into your next

(23:49):
where you might feel stuck, but Thomas is telling you
don't stay stuck.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
If you feel blocked. Thomas is saying, break through that wall.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
And remember a lot of these walls we made them.
We limit ourselves with these walls. We created these walls
so people cannot get in. But the wall works both ways,
you too can't get out. So Thomas the saying to you,
bust through these walls.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
There's more.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Okay, So Thomas, you can continue. You have any words
of encouragement.

Speaker 6 (24:26):
If I'm to get my boat, and also to maybe
you know you or you know someone that needs the
fantastic speaker that could share.

Speaker 5 (24:41):
To your awndience.

Speaker 6 (24:44):
The great news, just motivating the onis and get them
and power delay bigger.

Speaker 5 (24:54):
And better future.

Speaker 6 (24:56):
You can go to my website with your ub you
w w the disability.

Speaker 5 (25:05):
Speaker that olorg and on the website they thought about me.
It's Condi Pou.

Speaker 6 (25:15):
There's some testimonials, but those also direct to my book
with Good Thing Amazon, so you can definitely get the
book there, find out more about me and just have
me come speak to your audience and make that bigger difference,

(25:37):
which is my goal to get out there and make
the big difference.

Speaker 3 (25:43):

Speaker 2 (25:44):
So we will be sharing the link and the bio
so people can be in touch with Thomas through his
website for speaking engagements and also to get the book
on Amazon, get your copy and support UH Thomas as
an author and also open up your platform for Thomas

(26:08):
as a speaker. So, Thomas, before we end this podcast
on today, what would you what could be a closing
remark to someone who might feel stuck or limited.

Speaker 6 (26:20):
Okay, a good cluting is a little bit a motivation,
an actions steak. I'm making live shime burden than the
sun's ray.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
All right, So you just need a little motivation, is
that correct?

Speaker 5 (26:42):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (26:42):
In action, just taking the step. Things are just falling
the place you're have an action. Yeah, you're gonna have
rose of denouns. But if you keep budge barn and
just believe in, nothing can stand in your way. Wow,

(27:05):
it try, it can try, but they won't sacceed. You'll
sac seed.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
That is That is indeed great. I'm very commendable.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
I truly am proud of you for what you have
achieved and how you've turned your pain into purpose by
going out there and letting individuals, including myself know that
there's more you know that can be done. Just keep

(27:39):
on keep at it, all right, you don't you are
your your greatest cheerleader, right, It starts with you believing
in yourself. Yes, it's wonderful. So Thomas, I do thank you,
and I know everyone would look forward to see you

those goals. All right, that may seem like you can't

(29:06):

are reachable, and I have attained them. That is such
a great motivation. I am so so proud of you,
and I know that it's only up from here and

people are emerging from so much and as we heard
Thomas's story on today, he has emerged, meaning he did
