Speaker 1 (00:14):
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and
delivered him from all of his fears. Old taste, and
see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the man
who puts his trust in the Lord. Trust in the
Lord with all of your heart. Please do not lean
to your own understanding. We welcome you once again to
this another edition of End Time Revival Ministers USA Podcasts.
(00:37):
For those of you who are listening to us by
way of our audio podcasts, and also for those of
you who are viewing us by way of our YouTube channel,
we welcome you as well. YouTube channel is at one
VIITW at one VITW for one voice in the wilderness.
(01:02):
And certainly we are grateful to the Lord having a
man given to us, granted unto us, a man this
express privilege to serve the Lord in speaking for this
truth with plainness, boldness, clarity, and a man confidence in
(01:24):
such a time as this. And we are again thankful
for another day that the Lord has allowed us to
see to breathe the breath of life. All life is
from Him, and it is, as the Bible teaches, in Him,
that we live and move and have our being. Our
(01:46):
very existence is in God of God and always will be.
Because he lives a man. Life emanates from him, and
we are forever grateful to the Lord forgiving us life,
not only this natural life, but a new birth. Amen.
If any man being Christ, he becomes a new creation.
(02:08):
The cademus, Jesus said to him, you must be born again,
born again a man. Otherwise you cannot see the Kingdom.
You cannot experience all that God has a man for
you without being born again. So we thank God again
as always for this new birth. Amen. We continue in
(02:31):
our series on God, government, church and state, and today
we're going to kind of focus in on threatened government.
Government that is threatened a man, threatened by what, threatened
by the Church, of course, threatened by the power of God,
threatened by the rule of God, threatened by a man
(02:51):
the law of God. But before we begin this, take
this quick moment, Amen, to invoke the presence of the
Lord again. Great is your faithfulness to us, and we
pray even now that your word would go forth with
power that someone somewhere we hear the voice of the
Savior and come to know that you are the truly
(03:12):
living God. We give you praise, glory and honor for
this day for all of your blessings, for your keeping power,
for your promises that are yeay and amen. In Christ Jesus,
we praying your thanks, Amen and amen. All right. Threatened government,
threatened government in the aftermath of Jesus coming down to
(03:37):
this earth during his earthly visitation, coming indeed to his
own people, to disrupt, as it was the status quo,
and also of course to upset the powers that be Amen.
Shortly thereafter, of course, as we spoke about and examined
in the acts of the Apostles on the the of Pentecosts,
(04:01):
there was a Pentecostal disturbance that really a man put
the rulers of the world, a man, the government of
that day, and even now up until this present time
on notice that this crucified Christ, a man, was risen,
(04:22):
just as he promised, a man before he was, a
man given over, betrayed, murdered, a man before he surrendered
himself as it were, a man. Certainly he said, no
one takes my life from me. I lay it down willingly.
I have the power to lay it down and have
(04:42):
the power to take it up again. But this same Christ, Jesus,
whom they crucified, was risen indeed, just as he had promised,
and his presence through the power of the Holy Spirit,
was now at work and was here to stay, and
is even now operating in the world, building the church,
(05:04):
as Jesus promised that he would do so. The powers
that the certainly were mistakingly resting a man in a
false sense of security and the belief that they had
written themselves of this Jesus, who, of course for three
and a half years had been thrown in their side.
(05:29):
As it were, he was terribly disruptive in his ministry,
a man to their religious a man ceremonial, hypocritical, a
man actions that they did before God, honoring him with
their lips, but their hearts, as Jesus testified, even against them,
their hearts being far from God, with their traditions of men,
(05:54):
A man that they led the blind people with a man.
Jesus spoke about that the blind leading the blind, and
you both will fall into the ditch. And so these
that were in the ruling class, particularly who wielded the
power over the people, they were very much threatened by Jesus,
(06:16):
and Jesus had to be eliminated, at least in their minds.
Jesus had to be eliminated. Please please understand, make no
mistake about it. The governments of this world are threatened
by the existence, amen of the Church of Jesus Christ.
And when I say the Church of Jesus Christ, I'm
(06:37):
not talking about a religious institution Christianity. Christianity, I'm talking
about biblical Christianity is not a religion. Amen. Governments of
this world are not threatened by religion, as I've already forestated. They,
as a matter of fact, for the most part, embraced religion.
(06:57):
Many of them are religious, and by the way that
they operate a man and rule, it is religion based
in most of these governments of this world. So they're
not anti religion. They are anti Christ. They are anti Jesus,
the name of Jesus, the True Church of Jesus Christ.
(07:21):
Government leaders and rulers have, therefore, because of their inability
and powerlessness to stop the True Church of Jesus Christ.
They have therefore a man resorted to using guile, deceitfulness,
a man to co opt the church by integrating it
(07:47):
and regulating it. And certainly we're going to touch on
that a little bit later in the future. But the
first attempt of the adversaries and enemies of the church,
first and foremost is to use threatening an intimidation in
(08:10):
order to cause the church to break the church. And primarily,
of course, they go after the leadership, the leaders of
the church. As we see in the book of the
Acts of the Apostles. They go after the leaders, cut
off the head, as it were, and the rest of
the body will die. And so they have practiced this
(08:34):
throughout history Church history. Amen. And the first order of business, though,
the first strategic move, and it's all satanic, by the way,
is to threaten and intimidate. Now, their ultimate desire, of
course for the Church is for it to be completely destroyed.
(08:57):
They are greed by the existence of the Church, and
their hatred of truth and righteousness compels them to act
to their own detriment to their own eternal demise. And
certainly in our previous podcasts, we saw that the Church
(09:20):
of Jesus Christ burst forth, burst forth, on to the
world scene, as it were, and it immediately on the
very first day, by the way, became a megachurch. The
Bible teachers, of course, in Acts chep. Number two, after
the Holy Spirit came and as a rushing mighty wind
(09:43):
filled the house where the one hundred and twenty were
gathered a man. The people that heard the noise, that
heard all of the commotion, came to see what was transpiring.
Of course, Peter preached the first sermon as it were
on that day of Pentecosts, and the Bible tells us
(10:03):
that about three thousand souls were added to the church.
A Pentecostal Pentecostal disruption took place on that Jesus burst
onto the scene, as it were, a man now a man,
having supposedly again in their minds gotten rid of Jesus.
(10:28):
Now they are grieved by the existence of the Church
and their hatred for the truth, hatred for the Gospel,
hatred for the name of Christ, Jesus, and again a
man they are now having to contend with these Jesus
(10:48):
prepared apostles who had been with the Lord a man
during his three and a half year disruptive ministry. That
he came a man into the world to do again,
as I said in many of these previous episodes amen
in this podcast series, that Jesus did not come to
(11:10):
be docile to get along with the world. He on
many occasions challenged them, called them out for their hypocrisy.
I'm talking about leaders a man who were blind, leaders
leading the blind, as Jesus again said, amen and causing
the people to air. Amen. And so we go now
(11:32):
in continuation to Acts chapter number four, to examine here again, Amen,
why the government, why the rulers were so grieved with
the church. This is what happens, you know. By the way,
(11:56):
let me back up a little bit for those of
you who may not have listened to her heard our
previous podcast episode. Of course, ACTU chapter three deals with
the healing of a crippled man who had been at
the gate of the temple for many, many years, receiving
alms handouts a man from the people as they came
(12:19):
and went from the temple, and on that day in particular,
on this day in particular, rather Peter and John went
up to the temple the Bible tells us about the
ninth hour to pray, and as they were about to enter,
the man fastened his eyes on Peter and John and
(12:40):
asked alms of them. And so Peter, along with John,
spoke to the band and said to him that seal
and gold we don't have, but what we do have
we give to you in the name of Jesus Christ
of Nagariths Nazareth, rise and walk. And the Bible says,
(13:03):
Peter reach down, took the man by the hand, and
immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength, and he
leapt up on his feet and began to walk. And
not only would did he begin to walk, he began
to run. And he was leaping and running and embracing
(13:28):
the disciples, the apostles, and was so glad that God
had healed him of his crippling, a man that was
from his birth, the Bible tells us. And so with
all of this commotion going on, the chief priests, the rulers,
(13:48):
the religious sect, as it was a man, heard all
of this. They were in charge of the temple. They
were in charge of the sacrifice. You remember when Jesus
by the way again, I told you Jesus came to
disrupt when he went to the temple his house, which
he said shall be called a house of prayer, but
(14:09):
you made it a den of thieves. He went there
and overturned the tables and all of the corruption that
was going on there. Jesus came and disrupted it. And
they were not happy about what Jesus was doing. And
so now here here comes another commotion. Here comes some
more uh, a disruption to their you know, way of
(14:33):
doing things. And government don't doesn't like that. Government doesn't
doesn't like disruption. They don't like, uh, the status quo
being disturbed. And so as it were, UH, with this
healing of this cripple man, there's a disturbance that's happening
in the UH with the normal order of things. And
(14:54):
so they come to see what's happening. The Bible tells
us acts chapter them before we pick it up in
verse number one, as they spake unto the people, who
is they? These the apostles, the church representatives, the leaders,
those who had been with Jesus, those who had been
a man taught by Jesus, commanded by Jesus, prepped by
(15:18):
Jesus to go and do exactly what they are doing.
They are speaking to the people, preaching the Bible, teaches
the Gospel, preaching the Word being instant in season out
of season. A man, it's a Bible, a man commands
the minister of God to do. So, they speak unto
the people. And as they are speaking, the priests and
(15:42):
the captain of the Temple and the Sadducees. The Bible
tells Us came upon them being grieved that they taught
the people and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead. Now, why,
ladies and gentlemen, are they grieved? Why are they grieve's?
(16:05):
What's the problem here? Jesus is dead. Y'all crucified him,
He's gone. What's the big deal about preaching, uh Jesus
when Jesus no longer exists. Are y'all threatened by a
dead man? Are y'all threatened by this man that y'all crucified,
the man that was put to shame, a man that
(16:26):
was humiliated? Hey, man, are you threatened by him? The
Bible says they were grieved that they taught the people
and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead. Now
the Saddes don't. They don't even believe in the resurrection
of the dead. Now again, if you're really convinced, and
(16:46):
you're really persuaded in your mind that something does not exist,
and why are you troubled by it? Why would you
be disturbed by it? Why are you grieved about it?
You just dismiss it? All. I don't believe in that.
I don't. I don't. I don't buy it. There are
certain things I know hill are not true. They trump,
(17:07):
they don't trouble me, they don't bother me. And if
they don't exist, it can't hurt me, It can't harm me.
It can't help me either. So why would I be grieved?
Why would I be worried? But the Bible tells us
that they agreed, and it's something there's something about the
(17:30):
conscience God, God, and God alone does a work Amen
in the conscience of the man. Amen. And so this
is what bothers them. They know that they have the responsibility.
They even said it His blood be upon us and
(17:50):
our children. And they are grieved that this Jesus is
being preached on. The Bible tells us Verst. Number three.
So they laid hands on them, put them in hold
until the next day, for it was now even tied.
How bid many of them which heard the word believed,
(18:12):
And the number of the men was about five thousand.
Now you add this to the previous number of at
least three thousand, and again, as I said the previous session,
I don't know how much time has transpired between their
Pentecosts and this miracle healing event that took place. So
(18:33):
we don't know what the true number of the church is,
but that doesn't really matter here. The point is that
God is building his church. The Church is on an
unstoppable journey destination that cannot be contained, that cannot be hindered,
that cannot be stopped by mere mortal man. Five thousand
(18:57):
more people added to the church. The Bible says, so
it came to pass one of the morrow, that is
the next day, that they're rulers, elders, and scribes. These
these this is, this is a government. This makes up
the government. Part of the government of the of the
people of the Jews. A man and and Us the
(19:18):
high Priest, and Caiaphas, and John and Alexander, and as
many as were of the kindred of the high priests
were gathered together at Jerusalem. So now they have to
reassemble themselves. They have to come back together again. They again.
(19:40):
They did this in order to get rid of Jesus.
You know, they they went through all of their shenanigans,
mock trial, fate trial, unlawful trial of Jesus, trials of Jesus,
and and now they've got to reconvene themselves, because these
(20:05):
upstart fishermen, uneducated fishermen, blue collar, uneducated, uncultured ordinary men
are now preaching about this Jesus that we rid ourselves
us what's going on here? And so the Bible tells
(20:27):
us in verse number seven, when they had set them
in the midst In other words, all of these government imagine,
if you will, the entire Congress of the United States
of America, for example, along with the Supreme Court President
of the United States, all of the Cabinet, every high
(20:48):
government official of the federal government, assembled in one place,
and they call into their assembly a couple of regular
ordinary joes to testify, to give an answer as to
why they are preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. That
(21:13):
is what the scene is like here, with all of
the government officials gathered together at Jerusalem, sitting the apostles
in their midst and asking of them verse seven, by
what power or by what name have you done this? Then, Peter,
(21:36):
the Bible says, filled with the Holy ghosts, said unto them, you,
rulers of the people and elders of Israel, if we
this day be examined of the good deed done to
the impotent man, by what means he is made whole.
(21:56):
Be it known unto you all and to all the
people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ
of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead.
Oh man, he's preaching. He's preaching. He's preaching. He's preaching
(22:19):
even by him. Doth this man stand here before you? Hold?
This man has been healed by the name of Jesus
Christ of Nazareth. Same one that you know you brought
before the council, the same one that you rejected, The
(22:42):
same one that you refuse to hear and obey. This
is the stone verse eleven, which was set at naught
of your builders, which has become the head of the corner.
Either is there salvation in any other For there is
(23:03):
none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we
must be saved. The Bible says, now you come aacine
this again, Picture this, picture this seen in your mind,
if you will, Here are two again, plain, old, ordinary men,
(23:27):
who had been with Jesus for three and a half years,
empowered by him, empowered by the presence of the Holy Ghost,
emboldened a man by the fact that they saw the
resurrected Savior. Again, we cannot dismiss that, we cannot minimize that.
And this is why the apostles preached this over and
(23:51):
over and over again. This Jesus, Peter pointed the finger
at them. This Jesus, the same one that you crucified him,
God raised from the dead. Yes, Sadducees, there is a
resurrection of the dead. This is why again you remember
with the raising of Lazarus from the dead by Jesus,
(24:13):
my man who had been dead for four days. So
this was not something that was on the order of
the dead young girl that was raised who had just died,
or the young man who was the son of his
mother and she was on her way. They were on
(24:34):
their way to bury him, and he had just died.
So this was not something because again I believe the
Jews had a belief, some of them had this belief
that a man the spirit would hover over the body
for a period of about seventy two hours. So in
the case of Lazarus, a man, they could not deny
(24:56):
that it was just, you know, all the spirit returned
to the a body in a miraculous way. But because
that in the case of Lazarus and man, he had
been there for four days, and uh, the body had
already started to decay, and and and even his sister said, Lord,
(25:16):
by this time, uh, he stinks you're too late. M yeah, yeah, yeah.
So so because of this miraculous a man raising of
Lazarus from the dead, they wanted to put again. They
sought to kill Lazarus while they were seeking also to
(25:40):
crucify Jesus again because they don't believe in the resurrection
of that. And so this is this is how a government,
in particular, when the rulers of the people are threatened
by a man the church, by the power of God,
the power that they are powerless to do anything about,
(26:04):
they resort to these kinds of tactics. Intimidation, threatening and
intimidation is what they do and will continue to do. So.
Peter boldly stands there and says to them, be it
known unto you all, it is by the name of
Jesus Christ of natures, the same one that you hated
(26:26):
and rejected and despised and crucified. It is by him,
through him that this man has been healed of his
crippling disease that he had his mother's womb. This is
the stone that you rejected, Amen. And he is the
(26:50):
head of the corner. And there is salvation to be
had in none other. There is no other name heaven
by which we must be saying Amen. Now look at
verse thirteen when they saw the boldness. Where did they
(27:12):
get that boldness? Number one? Again, Remember, they were cowering
in fear until they got the news, and until they
saw for themselves the resurrected Savior. That's number one. They
saw the risen Jesus. Number two, they received the baptism
(27:35):
of the Holy Ghost and fire. And if I might add,
they also saw Jesus ascend up into heaven. So on
the strength of all of that, in addition to the
fact that they had been with Jesus for three and
a half years, now this boldness, this boldness, this boldness, Amen,
(28:00):
they have the word of God that has been brought back,
is being brought back to their memory, all the things
that Jesus taught them. He said, the Holy Spirit would
bring these things to your remembrance, And the Holy Spirit
is doing it. As a matter of fact, Jesus had
already prepared them and told, don't even meditate about what
you're going to say when you are brought up. He
told them, he prepared them for the fact that this
(28:23):
was going to happen, that they would be brought before counsels,
that they would be persecuted, that they would be called
to answer, to give an account, as it were, for
preaching in his name. So the Bible says, when they
saw the boldness of Peter and.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
John and perceived that they were unlearned, and.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
Then the Bible says, they marveled. But they also looked
what the Bible says, took knowledge of them, that they
had been with Jesus. Give me that in the day,
over the foolishness of men, over the wisdom of this world, over,
(29:11):
the education and doctrination of the institutions of this world.
All give me time with Jesus. I'll take it. I'll
take it. Paul, who was well educated in their system,
as it were. Amen, he said of his own accord,
(29:32):
after of course he had been converted. I count all
that stuff as dung that I may win Christ. I
want to know him fully even in the power of
the resurrection. Amen. Again, this same resurrection that they were
in denial of the Sadducees in particular, Amen. And of
(29:54):
course all of them, none of them wanted to believe
that Jesus. Even though the Pharisees believed in the resurrection,
they didn't want to believe for a moment that Jesus
was risen from the dead. No, sir, no, sir, no sir. Amen.
So now they see the boldness of Peter and John.
The Bible says, they perceived that they were unlearned and
(30:15):
ignorant men. In other words, again, they had not gone
through the educational institutions of higher learning, under the auspices,
under the control of those who were the indoctrinators, if
you will. And so the Bible says, they marveled. And
(30:36):
remember by the way those of you made with the
gospels many they did the same with Jesus. How does
this man know letters? Having never learned. He didn't come
He didn't go through the system, you know, he didn't
He didn't come through the institutions through our professors. Wow,
(30:59):
they marveled at these men, took knowledge of them that
they had been with Jesus didn't And and and here's
the verse fourteen. And beholding the man which was healed.
Standing with them, they could say nothing against it. But
(31:19):
when they had commanded them to go aside out of
the council. So now they they they say, you guys, hey,
go uh step away, for we've we've we've got to
confer among each other. That's what they did. The Bible
says they conferred among themselves and discussed what they're going
to do here, because we've gotten we got another problem. Guys,
(31:43):
we got we got we got problems. This John the
Baptist came, he was a problem. Well, Herod took him
out for us, so that worked in our favor. Then
Jesus comes right on his heels and we we finally
got rid of him. And now where these up starts
(32:06):
come from, these unlearned, ignorant men, what are now?
Speaker 3 (32:09):
What are we gonna do with them? They've already got
a mega church going. We've already lost at least eight thousand.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
Out of our tradition, out of our religion.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
Oh man, what are we going to do? What are
we gonna do about this? What are we gonna do
with these men? What are we gonna do about this way?
What are we gonna do about this?
Speaker 1 (32:43):
This? This, this Jesus that is being preached that we
got rid of. Mm hmmm, mmm hmm. What shall we
do to these men? For indeed, a notable miracle has
been performed by them, and it is being manifest and
(33:03):
it is being seen. It has been witness by all
of them that dwell in Jerusalem. And look at what
they say. We can't deny it. It's about love. She man.
This is what I love about God. He does things
in such a way. It just boxes you in a
It just boxes you in. It boxes you in a corner.
(33:26):
You know, if I if I can go back to Pharaoh, now,
if I let the people go, Wait a minute, what
are we gonna do? This is all entire workforce. We
don't have anybody replace these people. What are we gonna do?
I got building projects going on. I can't let I
just can't let these people go. Then the plagues begin,
(33:52):
Oh well, what are we gonna do? What are we
gonna do? What are we gonna do? When Jesus came
worse on the scene, as we again recently exam and they,
I mean, Jesus boxed these people in all kinds of corners.
It's dangerous, dangerous, dangerous when you get a scared little
(34:16):
demon boxed in a corner. That's what these devils they
are now boxing to corners. And they said, what are
we going to do for Indeed, this notable miracle has
been performed, has been manifest to everybody. Everybody has seated,
(34:38):
and we lost five thousand more people today by all
of this that's happening. And we can't deny see that.
See this is what they say among themselves. It's like
when Nicodemus came to Jesus by Na, he said, we know,
he said, I know, He said, we know that you
are a or a teacher that came from God. Because
(35:03):
no one can do the miracles that you're doing has
to be the hand of God. What can this powerless
government do? What can these leaders do? Well? Well, are
they going to do what they always do? Attempt to
(35:27):
siege or seize power if you will, it's a siege
seizing of power by threat and intimidation. Now they're powerless.
They're powerless, and so they don't know what to do
it in this corner. This is a government that is
(35:47):
threatened by the apostles preaching and teaching. Again, take note
of this. They're preaching and teaching about a dead Messiah
so called set proclaimed King of the Jews, that they
got rid of. Why are you threatened by a dead again?
(36:14):
Not only even was he killed, crucified, he was completely humiliated,
and all the people went away shaking their heads. Remember that,
if you are the they mocked him. If you're the Christ,
come down, save yourself. I mean, he's dead, he's gone.
(36:35):
What's the problem here, Oh man, oh man, old man,
old man. They are threatened by the apostles preaching and
teaching Jesus, and again they couldn't deny the miracle. All
the people were rejoicing in it. We're powerless, but we
(37:01):
gotta do something. Powerless, powerless people, powerless government. And by
the way, I get to this a little bit more
in the next session the next episode. Powerless and don't
know that they are powerless. That's dangerous when you are
(37:23):
powerless and you think you have power, you think you
have the authority, you think you you think you are.
And the Bible teaches, by the way, warns us, thank God,
that we are to be a people of humility, of
people who humble ourselves in the mighty under the mighty
(37:44):
hand of God. A man the Bible says, a man
think himself to be something where he is nothing, he
deceives himself. These people are living in delusion. They're in
a state of delusion. They think that they have the power,
They think they have the control, They think that they
can harness, regulate, Stay about put out this movement, this
(38:09):
move of God. This is what they say verse seventeen.
But that it spread no further among the people. Let
us this is their strategy. This is what they came
up with with all of these educated, wise men of
(38:33):
the world, with their learning, with all of their entrained
fears of government experience. This is what they come up
with their conference, out of their conference, but that it
spread no further among the people. Let us straightly threaten them. Wait,
(38:58):
I mean it took all of y'all could just got
got a brute off the street to do that come
up with that. You could have got a bully off
the street, that could have a third grade dropout, that
could have came up with that solution. Let us straighten
me threaten them that they speak henceforth to no man
(39:25):
in this name. Stop the spread. Oh that sounds familiar.
Let's stop the spread. Let's threaten them. That sounds familiar too.
We must shut this down. Now, we must contain this,
(39:50):
we must control this, stop the spread. So the Bible
says verse eighteen, they call them and come them not
to speak at all, nor teach in the name of Jesus.
Now they issue there government decreed, government command, government law,
(40:16):
government ed, shut down the church. That's that sounds familiar,
to stop the spread. In order to stop the spread,
we got to shut down the church. We can't have
these people coming together singing about Jesus, preaching about Jesus,
teaching other people about Jesus. We got to stop the spread.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Wo same devil. But Peter and John answered and said,
unto them, whether it be right in the sight of
God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye,
for we cannot but think the things which we have
(41:03):
seen and heard verse twenty one. So when they had
further threatened them, See they got nothing, they are powerless.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
They've got nothing but threaten and try to intimidate them.
That's all the devil, that's all he has, that's all
he can do.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
Mhm.
Speaker 1 (41:24):
Threaten. That's the first. That's the first. That's his first
strategic step. Threaten.
Speaker 5 (41:30):
Let's threaten them, Let's threaten them. Let's let's beat them,
let's kill them. Yeah, let's let's take away. Let's let's
let's uh, let's take away their social media presence. Let's
shut them down.
Speaker 1 (41:47):
Yeah. Yeah, we're gonna We're gonna threaten them, cut off
there funding, threatened their parishioners. Yeah, let's threaten them. Bible says,
when they had further threatened them, let them go, finding
nothing how they might punish them because of the people.
(42:12):
For all men glorified God for that which was not
holy God. Oh my God, look what the Bible says. Oh,
by the way, for the man was about forty years old,
on whom this miracle of healing was shown. Only God
can do this kind of stuff. Here's a man for
(42:34):
the glory of God, for the building up of the church.
This man had suffered for forty years, over forty years,
not able to walk daily at the temple. This was
no coincidence. This is the providence of God. This is
the hand of God. This is the work of God.
(42:55):
This is the plan of God. This is why governments
are powerless against the God who declares the end from
the beginning. Amen who is already predestined, predetermined, and already Amen,
in eternity, he finished the work. We're living in the
(43:16):
you know, the sphere of time. God has already finished
the work. Amen. But nevertheless, you have a situation here
where God used a crippled man who had been at
(43:37):
the temple. Literally, perhaps I was suppose every day so
that everybody saw this man, everybody knew this man, everybody
knew that this man was crippled. Everybody, everybody recognized him,
and so the miracle was undeeniable. Only God, only God,
(44:03):
only God. Please understand, though I'm closing here, that the
same spirit, ladies and John, that was threatening to the powers,
then it's very much with us today. Nevertheless, that spirit
of deception, that spirit of fear, is already defeated. That
(44:28):
spirit is incapable of hindering the Holy Spirit from.
Speaker 6 (44:34):
Baptizing souls by the millions. As the Church of Jesus
Christ will continue to grow until we are raptured, until
we are taken.
Speaker 1 (44:51):
Up to forever be with the Lord. But until then,
please understand, please know that we will. We shall continue
with boldness, with confidence, with the truth of God, with
the power of God. Amen. With the armor of the
(45:12):
Lord fully equipped upon us. Amen, with the power of Heaven,
with the power of the eternal decrees of God, to
proclaim and to teach Jesus the Christ as the Way,
the Truth, the Life, the Light, the door, the Savior,
(45:35):
the only hope of salvation for the lost souls of men.
A man to the glory of God, we cannot we
shall not be defeated. Father. We thank you for victory,
thank you that we are more than conquerors. You declared it,
(45:59):
you decreed it, you made it so. And we simply
say amen to your will, to your way, to your word,
and to what you have decreed that shall come to
pass be glorified in your people everywhere. In Jesus' name,
we pray give things. Amen, and a man
