Speaker 1 (00:15):
Oh, bless the Lord, Oh my soul, all that is
within me, bless his Holy name. God is worthy. He
is worthy to be praised at all times. Everything that
has breath is duty bound to praise the Lord. That's
the only qualification of praise you owe God. Praise. The
(00:35):
breath of life that is in you comes from Him,
and apart from him, without him, none of us exists.
We can do nothing. Heyman, it is in Him that
we live, move and have our existence. We welcome you
once again to this another edition of End Time Revival
Ministries USA podcast. I am your host, Pastor al Zachary,
(00:57):
and today we are continuing in our or longed as
now it has been a few months series on God, Government,
Church and State. Nevertheless a man, we are still a
man forging ahead because it is important for us to
understand that God reigns and rules in the kingdom of men.
(01:17):
It is God who has established and ordained government. But nevertheless,
no king, no ruler, no prince, no power, no governor,
mayor president, prime minister, none, none. None can stay the
hand of God. None can a man defy what He
(01:39):
has decreed to come to pass. And as we have
already seen old Testament, and now into the New Testament,
a man. There have been rulers throughout history, government agents,
those who have again been raised up into power, who
have opposed the people of God, whoever opposed God himself,
(02:02):
and find themselves and have found themselves rather a man
fighting against God. And certainly this is not a place
that you want to be. A man on the losing side.
It's guaranteed defeat. A man God cannot will not be defeated.
His plan, his purpose, everything that He has decreed from
(02:24):
eternity pass, it shall come to pass. Amen. The will
of the Lord will be done. Amen. So we are
a man confident in the word of God, confident in
the power of God, confident a man in what God
has spoken. Because a man, he cannot lie, he cannot
deny himself. God cannot change, God cannot die. Amen. We
(02:47):
understand that there are some things that God cannot do.
He cannot lie, he cannot change, he cannot die, he
cannot deny himself. Amen. And we certainly have our faith
and trust and confidence in the power of the Sovereign Almighty,
King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We continue today
in the Book of the Acts, chapter number nine, if
(03:09):
you have your Bible, you can go with us. There. Again,
we welcome you those of you who are listening to
us by way of our audio podcast, End Time Revival
Ministries USA podcasts. Amen. It can be found through many
many different streaming outlets End Time Revival Ministers USA podcast
audio podcasts, and for those of you who view us
(03:32):
by way of our YouTube channel, One Voice in the Wilderness. Amen.
Where again our purpose and goal is to plainly declare
the whole Council of God. Amen. And today we're again
going to be in the Book of the Acts of
the Apostles, chapter number nine. Before we begin, let's take
(03:55):
a moment to amen, invoke the presence of the Lord
Father again. We are grateful to you for all of
your blessings that you're bestowed upon us, For the peace
of God that rules and reigns in our heart. Thank
you for the joy of the Lord that gives us
strength from day to day. We have boldness and confidence
(04:16):
in you because your word is steadfast and sure, because
you are faithful, and you cannot and will not deny yourself,
your word, Your people God, We are your people, the
sheep of your pasture. We come through these gates this
day with thanksgiving in our hearts. Our hearts are filled
with gratitude, Lord, because of your great love for us.
(04:37):
We praise you, We bless you, and we pray even
now that you will open someone's eyes, ears and heart
a man to see, to hear, and to believe that
you are the true in the living God, and there
is none beside THEE. Be glorified in your people, be
glorified in the world today, and Jesus thing we praying
if thanks, Amen and Amen, special agent arrested. How about
(05:02):
that special agent gets arrested. Amen. That's what our focus
is on today. A special agent that got arrested. How
about that, Amen, Acts Chapter number nine Saul. Those of
you who know your Bibles already know that he was
(05:24):
yet later named Paul the Apostle Paul, but before his conversion,
prior to his amen arrest, as it were, as it
were going to see, he was an enemy number one
enemy in fact of the early Church, and he was
(05:47):
consenting to the death of Stephen. We covered that briefly
in our session previous session on Stephen. How he was
the first martyr one murdered for the name of Jesus.
A man murdered for the name of Jesus. Stephen. Saul
was at that a man, murder, execution, stoning of Stephen,
(06:14):
held the colts of those and consented to him being
put to death. And Saul, the Bible tells us, now
in Acts chapter number nine, he is yet breathing out threatenings.
This is how the devil operates. He loves to try
to threaten the people of God and intimidate. And if
that doesn't work again, as we've already shown, pattern after pattern,
(06:37):
time after time, he will ultimately resort to murder, steal, kill, destroy.
That's what the devil has come to do. Still, kill, destroy,
And so first of all he tries to intimidate the
people of God, threatening the people of God. And so Saul,
now a man, the number one enemy of the Church
(07:00):
ch now is breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the
disciples of the Lord. He now goes, the Bible says
in verse number one to the High Priest. Now he
a man makes his way to the government, a man
the government, the rulers, the officials, And the Bible tells
(07:20):
us in verse number two he desired of him. The
High Priest letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if
he found any of this way and in the way
that he's talking about, or the Bible is refer Luke,
the author it's referring to, of course, is a man.
The way of Jesus Christ, the faith of Jesus Christ,
(07:46):
discipleship following the Lord. Before it was called Christianity, it
was called the way. And Jesus, by the way said
that I am the way a man, So you're in
the right way if you're following Jesus. And saw not
yet aware of this, being ignorant of it. This is
his own testimony that he would say later he desires
(08:09):
letters from the high priests that if he found any
of this way, whether they were men or women, he
did not care a man, he might bring them bound
unto Jerusalem. Now, please understand, as we've already forestated, that
those who oppose the Church and despise and reject the
(08:32):
gospel of Jesus Christ, in their zeal to destroy the Church,
they will almost certainly make their way to the government
a man of the land, in order to seek authorization
to change the laws, to get approval from the powers
(08:52):
that be, as it were, in order to lend credence
to their devilish desires. And if the government is under
the authority of rulers who are like minded, and most
of them are nonstake about that, then those who are
the haters of the people of God, those who despise
(09:15):
the name of Jesus Christ, those who are opposed to
the Church of Jesus Christ, they will get their permission slips, amen,
if you will, to go about their mission of malice
and murder. And it's happening right now, hey, right here
in the good old United States of America, the Land
(09:35):
of the Free and the Home of the Brave, a
nation that was supposedly, as it were, founded on Christian
values Christianity. Amen. Nevertheless, in our day you have we have, brother, amen,
people who are obstinate, who are haters, who absolutely detest
(09:56):
and despise the name of Jesus, the Church of the
Living God. They're not opposed to religion, as we've already
forestated on multiple occasions. They're not against religion. They're not
anti religion. They're anti Jesus. Amen. They're not anti God
in the name in a title sense, because they think
(10:17):
of themselves as being God. Amen. So they're not opposed
to religion. They're opposed to Jesus, the name of Jesus,
the Way, Amen, that is the true Amen, way of
salvation for man. And all of this is by the
way being controlled by the devil, who knows, Amen that
(10:38):
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.
And so amen, these haters of the people of God,
they'll get their permission slips from like minded government officials, Amen,
to carry out their mission of malice and murder against
the Church. And such was the case with for example,
(10:58):
if you go back again in the old test Smith
Annis might Haymon a man in the days of Esther
when she was the queen, a man of Persia, a man,
and he sought to uh destroy all the Jews, destroy
all the people of God. And why he's simple, simple hatred, devil, evil, wicked, Amen,
(11:21):
full of the devil. That's what he was, demonically possessed
and driven to wipe out the people of God. And
so this is exactly the same kind of pattern that
people in our day are still following, going to the
government seeking to outlaw worship, outlaw preaching out I mean,
(11:45):
there are laws that people have tried to enact and
have enacted to outlaw preaching. Again, I mean what the
Bible speaks. We cannot preach certain things out of the
Bible in certain places. I'm talking about in America where
they were having people arrested just for preaching against homosexuality. Amen.
(12:08):
If you speak out against certain things, Amen, in certain places,
you will be persecuted and prosecuted Amen, for preaching the truth.
And so this is how the devil operates. First and
foremost intimidation, threatening, and if that doesn't work, then he goes,
of course to the government to get approval. And this
(12:31):
is exactly what happens here. Amen. In the case of Saul,
he was consenting. Amen. And by the way it there
have been many others throughout history, world history who have
followed this same pattern of evil, devious planning and plotting
(12:57):
and scheming a man again to against God. And that's
what they're doing. They're fighting against God. And Saul ignorantly
was consenting, of course to the murder of Stephen. And
he is persecuting the Church in his zeal as a
guardian supposedly of the law, as a pharisee of the Pharisees.
(13:21):
Of course, he would later testify and so again he
follows in the footsteps of others who have foolishly opposed
God by means of mere mortal men's government, government of
man by man, a man. Again, even though God is authorizing,
(13:41):
sanctioned government, ordained the government, God is the one who
instituted it a man. Yet men, in their rebellion act
in their obstinates against God. And again Psalm number two,
you can read it there a man, how the kings
of this earth, a man, are in alliance, in allegiance
(14:02):
against God, a man in his government and his authority.
They don't want the rule of God, the law of God,
the word of God to over a man see their
lives and their actions and their activities. And so they
rebel in coalition against God. And so foolishly men will
(14:22):
go to government. People will rise up to go to
the government in order to get authority for the rubber stamping,
if you will, of their demonic schemes that they have
dreamed up in order again to stamp out to wipe
out the Church of the Living God. And so in
(14:46):
this particular case, Saul is deputized as a government special agent.
He's given special permission by the high priests letterszation from
the government to go to Damascus and arrest, apprehend, bind
(15:07):
up a man dragged back to Jerusalem. Anybody, a man
who was in the way, in the way of Christ,
in the way of the Faith, in the way of
one Lord, one faith, one Baptism, one God, one Father. No, no, no,
they could not have any opposition to a man judaism
(15:29):
as it were a man. And again the apostle Paul,
as he would later testify, in his ignorance, he thought
that he was doing a man the work of God.
And so he gets himself deputized again as a special
agent of the government, a man on a special mission
(15:50):
to a man, stamp out the church and bind up
again and tossing the prison anybody who was calling on
the name of Jesus, a man in Saul. By the way,
of course, he has no idea whatsoever that he himself
is about to be arrested. How about that the Bible
(16:14):
tells us, look at verse number three. I'm in Acts
chapter number nine. As he journeyed, he came near Damascus.
He almost made it to his destination. Amen, he almost
made it to Damascus. And the Bible tells us, suddenly
they'll shined round about him, a light from heaven, and
(16:40):
he fell to the earth and heard a voice saying
unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecuted thou me, my God man?
Who let me? Let me tell you some Only God
(17:03):
can do this kind of thing. Only God can do
this kind of thing. And then later, of course, Paul
would re recite his uh testimony and recount what happened
to him on the road to Damascus on a couple
of occasions in the Book of Acts, two or three occasions,
(17:25):
and in fact, but on one of these occasions, he
described the light from heaven, that being above the brightness
of the sun, and it was around the noon, above
the brightness of the noonday sun, when it's at its brightest.
So bright was the light that it blinded him, And
the Bible says this light caused him verse number four again,
(17:48):
to fall to the earth, and he heard the voice
of the Lord calling unto him, Saul, Saul, why are
you persecuting me? God knows where you are, He knows
who you are. He knows your motives, He knows your
plans and schemes and thoughts and ideas, and he knows
(18:09):
it all. Amen, And so now, amen, he says, Paul
does Saul, I'm sorry, I'm dead, Paul, Paul, Paul. I
just know him as Paul of course now, but Saul
at the time, he responds to the Lord, to the
voice from heaven, saying, who art thou? Lord? He knows
(18:30):
it's it's it's the sovereign. He knows it's the divine.
He knows he's a wait a minute, Who are you?
Who are you? Lord? Amen? I've known you from the reading,
I've known you from the Torah, I've known you from
the learning my schooling. I've learned of you from the books.
But now I'm encountering you face to face? Who are you? Lord?
(18:52):
And the Lord says, I am Jesus. Wo, Lord, have mercy?
Who this thing? Now? This is? Now? Please? Please don't
I'm asktimate this moment. Oh. This man saw for the
express and in I mean specific purpose of his mission
(19:17):
as a special government agent is to oppose the name
of Jesus and anybody who's calling on the name of Jesus,
anybody who is at adhering to this new doctrine, as
it were, a man and so and so, Now he says,
who are you? Lord? He said I am, Oh, don't, mister,
(19:40):
I am in there. I am Jesus. I am Jesus
whom you are persecuting. Now keep in mind, oh, oh,
I can't. I can't goss over that. By the way,
when you persecute the church, you're person acting Jesus. When
(20:01):
you persecute the church, when you come against the people
of God, when you are harassing, martyring, amen, seeking to
destroy the church, speaking against the church, blaspheming against the church. Amen,
you're doing it to Jesus. You better understand that. People
(20:23):
need to understand that they have But again we understand
why there are people that do this. They don't have
any fear of God. They don't believe God, they don't
believe it's word. Amen. They don't believe the Bible. Amen.
They don't believe that Jesus is Amen. And so he
says to Saul, Amen, I am Jesus, whom thou persecutest.
(20:48):
It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
And he that is Saul, trembling and astonished, said, Lord,
what wilt thou have me to do? Boy, that's the
question right there. When you come face to face, when
(21:13):
you come face to face with Jesus. That's the question.
That's one of the questions you need to ask that.
If not, if not, the question, Lord, what will well?
What will? What? What? What? What? What is it? What is it?
What will you have me to do? This is this
is this is akin to uh what the people? On
(21:33):
a day of Pentecost. A man said to Peter, men
and brethren, what must we do now that you are
under arrest? What do you do? Paul has Saul, brother again,
I can't have it. I can't have it, I can't it.
Saul has been arrested, He's been arrested by Jesus. He's
(21:56):
under arrest. And now he says, Lord, what will you
have me to do? Mm mm hmmm. So the Lord says,
unto him, arise, go into the city, and it shall
be told thee what thou must do. Now, Jesus could
(22:19):
have preached the word to him. He could have told
him exactly what he must do. He could have preached
or repent and be baptized. No, no, no, God has
put it. God has placed it on the shoulders of
men that he has called and ordained to preach the gospel. God,
And if you looking and waiting for Jesus to come
(22:39):
down from heaven, or an angel to come down from heaven,
or some kind of great revelation or something of spectacular,
miraculous intervention to happen from heaven. Your chances are slim
to slim to slim to none that that's going to
(23:00):
happen in the sense that God himself is going to
come down and preach to you, and God himself is
going to come down and minister to you, that the
Holy Spirit, that Jesus himself is going to come down
from heaven and read the word to you and speak
a word to you, in the sense that he's going
(23:22):
to bypass the agents that he is already authorized. Remembered
you remember, remember by the way, let me give you
give you an example. And I may not be saying
this as crisply as it needs to be stated, but
let me give you an example. You remember the story
that Jesus told of the rich man in Lazarra, the
rich man that died, and he went to Hell, and
(23:47):
he was tormented in the flames, and he desired of
the Lord of Abe, speaking of Abraham, Father Abraham, as
it were, to send Lazarus back to his house, because
he had five brothers. He had five brothers, and he
didn't want them to come to that place. Gold, Will
(24:08):
you please send Lazarus that he may testify to my
brothers that they will not come to this place. What
was Abraham's response? They have Moses and the law. God
has given us revelation. God, and by the way, God,
who had one hundred times in diaverst man, have spoke
to the fathers by the prophets, half in these last days,
(24:30):
spoken to us by his son Jesus. Christ has come once.
He's not coming again until he comes back for the church.
He's not coming specially for you. No, no, no, no, no,
no no. You got the preacher, you got the word,
you got the law, you got the prophets, you got
the divine, the whole revelation and counsel of God. And
(24:53):
we in our day have zero excuse. Amen. We got
Bibles everywhere, we got preaching everywhere, we got churches everywhere. Amen.
So don't think you wanna get some kind of special
divine intervention from God. Jesus is gonna come down and
part the sky and come especially for you. No, sir, no, ma'am.
(25:15):
The likelihood of that. I'm not saying it's impossible that
it won't happen, but it is probably next to zero
O'Neil that it will happen, because He's placed it on
the shoulders of men upon this rock I build my church.
He sent his apostles, he started with twelve of them, Amen,
and he sent them to go. And he hasn't been back,
(25:38):
by the way, he hasn't been back for another visitation. No, no, no. Now,
the Holy Spirit is here. The Holy Spirit is at work.
The Holy Spirit is knocking at the door of the
hearts of men. The Holy Spirit is by the goodness
of God, by the grace of God, by the love
and compassion and long suffet and from barons of God, Amen,
(26:00):
with men's heart, and tugging on the hearts of men,
as it were pulling them, drawing them. Amen. The goodness
of God, the Bible says, is what leads us to repentance. Yes,
by the Spirit of God, he is at work. But
for you to believe, or to think, or to hope,
or anybody to a man, have the idea in their
(26:21):
heart of mind that God is going to make some
kind of special divine intervening for them. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
God has somebody. He's already commissioned. He's already commissioned the preachers.
(26:42):
He's already commissioned his spokesman, a man to preach the word.
Go into all the world and preach the gospel. He
that believes and is baptized shall be saved. He that
believes not will be condemned. Amen. And so God has
already commissioned a man and put on the shoulders of
men the gospel. The church has the responsibility a man.
(27:06):
The Bible says, the Church of the Living God is
the pillar and ground of the truth. Amen. And you'll
know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
We have a responsibility in the church. We certainly have
the responsibility as preachers. A man of the gospel, a
man to preach the Word, to be instant in season
out of season, reproving, rebuking, exhorting with all long suffering
(27:27):
and doctrine. The apostle Paul, the one who we're talking
about here, a man later would say, a man through
the a man prophetic utterance of the Holy Spirit. The
time will come when men will not want to endure
sound doctrine. Amen. So God has placed this up on
the shoulders of men. Yes, he made a special, special
(27:50):
divine a man, miraculous as it were, intervention for this man,
Saul chief, because he was a now, appointing him, calling him,
ordaining him to be a man, an apostle to the gentiles.
So this was a special case, a special instance. But
(28:12):
yet even in this instance, he did not preach the
gospel to Paul. Saul. I cannot help it. I can't
help it. I can't help it. He didn't preach the
gospel to it. What will you have me to do?
I got somebody that's gonna tell you what you must do.
I got a preacher, I got a man, I got
somebody already appointed. I got somebody that I'm sending you to. Amen. So,
(28:36):
when God speaks to your heart, the day you hear
his voice, do not harden your heart the day you
hear the voice of the Lord speaking to you. Amen.
When the preacher preaches, or when you hear the word
of God, do not harden your heart. Amen. And so arise, Paul,
saw I can't. He's Paul. He's Paul. Arise going to
(29:02):
the city. And it shall be told thee what thou
must do. And the men which journeyed with him. Luke
tells us they stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing
no man. Now they heard the voice, and by the
way Saul would later again Paul, when he would testify
(29:24):
about this, he said, we all fell to the earth.
We all fell to the earth. Amen, every knee is
gone about whoo at the voice of God? Are you
kidding me? Huh man? And so they, the Bible says,
the men who were with him, they stood speechless. They
(29:48):
heard the voice, but they didn't see anyone. And Saul,
the Bible says, arose from the earth, and when his
eyes were open, he saw no man. Now he's blinded.
He can't see. He opens his eyes, but he can't
see the brightness of that light, the brightness of the
glory of God, who this is why when we get
(30:11):
to heaven, there will be no more sun, no more moon,
no more Jesus, who the light of the world. There
will be no need for the sun. The Bible tells us,
a man, the brightness of his glory, his excellence is
far above the brightness of the sun. By the way,
which we can't even look into, it will blind us.
(30:32):
So how much more blinding is the glorious light of
the God of creation. The Bible says he could not see.
His eyes were open, but he couldn't see, and they
had to lead him by the hand, and they brought
him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight,
(30:54):
and neither did eat nor drink. And there was a
certain disciple at Damascus. The Bible tells name Annius, And
to him said the Lord in a vision, Annius, and
that he said, behold, I am here, Lord. And the
Lord said unto him, arise and go into the street
which is called straight and inquire in the house of Judas,
(31:17):
for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold he prayeth.
And have seen in a vision a man named Annius
coming in and putting his hand on him that he
might receive his saying, Oh, do y'all, Oh do we
are we hearing this? Are we hearing this? How God
(31:39):
is at work? God has already spoken to Saul. God
is already revealed to Saul who is coming. Now. He
reveals to Anonius, the man to whom he's sending him
to amen. And he's telling Anonis, I've already shown Saul.
He's in prayer right now. I've already shown him that
you are coming. Hey, man, he's already seen in a
(32:04):
vision a man named Annius coming coming in, putting his
hand on him, that he might receive his sighting an
Anias is I mean Jesus. He's shocked here, So he says, Lord, Wait, wait, wait,
ho ho, hold up, hold up, hold up, Wait a minute.
I've heard by many of this man how much evil
(32:28):
he had done to thy saints at Jerusalem. And here
he has authority, that is government agent, special agent of
the government. He has authority from the chief priest to
bind all that call on your name. Lord. Wait a minute,
Wait a minute, wait, wait, will are you sure about this?
(32:51):
Are we talking about the same guy here, Saul of Tarsus,
the one who's persecuting the church, the one who's arresting,
the one who's seeking to destroy your people, who coming
against your name, or we're talking about the same Saul.
You want me to go to him. This is the
man who has authority. This is the man who's a
government agent. This is a man who is seeking to
(33:14):
wipe out your church and your name. He's got authorization
from the government. But the Lord said to Anonaius, go
thy way, for he is. Oh, I love this, I
love this, I love it. Oh, my God, he is
(33:35):
a chosen vessel unto me to bear my name before
the gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. For
I will show him how great things he must suffer
for my name's sake. Wow. Only God, only God, only
(34:04):
God can do this. Only God can do this. But
keep in mind, please, And I'm about to close here, uh,
those who ignorantly and willfully oppose and wage warfare against
the Church of Jesus Christ. Now Paul Saul, Paul Saw Saul, Paul,
(34:27):
Paul Saul. He did it in ignorance and in unbelief,
as he would later testify himself. I'm not choosing words
for him. These are the words that he would relay
later in his epistles about his you know, prior uh
status before he was arrested by Jesus. He did it
(34:54):
in ignorance, That's what he said. And there are people
who are ignorantly and there are people who are willfully
who are not doing any ignorance, but they are opposing
the church and waging warfare against the Church. Because Jesus
put it this way. It's very plain it's very simple.
(35:15):
He that is not with me is against me. He
who is not gathering with me is scattering abroad. So
you're either with Jesus or you are against Jesus. There
is no neutrality, there is no middle ground. You're either
(35:38):
with him or against him. You are either in the
kingdom or out of the kingdom. You're either helping, as
it were, assisting as it were, to build the kingdom
as it were. Again, God doesn't need us. It's pleased
(35:59):
him to use us as vessels. But we're either with
him in building history because Jesus said, I'm going to
build my church. Amen. And again he uses us. He
uses us, he uses us, and thank God, he uses us.
Amen for his purpose, for his glory, for his honor,
for his kingdom, for his majesty. But if you're not
(36:23):
with him, you're against him. And again, those who ignorantly
and or willfully oppose and wage warfare against the Church
of Jesus Christ, they're fighting against God. They are fighting
against God. Again, Gamelion, you remember this. We recovered this
(36:44):
in a couple of sessions. Back had already warned these
insistent ignoramusis in them. I'm talking about the government officials,
the chief priests, and all of them the same counsel,
The same folks who had put Jesus to death, the
same people who had arrested Peter and John and apostles
and tried to silence them, threaten them, beat them, commanded them,
(37:04):
put out the new decrees in new laws. Don't speak no,
teach no, no, no, no more in the name of Jesus.
Don't you do it. Don't you do it? Don't you
do it? Uh. These same ignoramusis amen had been warned,
had been counseled, as it were, by Gamalio, that if
this work, if this counsel is of God, you will
(37:29):
not be able to overthrow it. But the sais, oh,
we're gonna keep on trying. That's the devil. That's the devil.
That's the devil. That's the devil. Y'all. Just keep on
kicking against the prick, kicking against the gold. You're not
gonna win against the Church of Jesus Christ. You're not
(37:51):
going to win. Oh, help him, Jesus, help him, Lord,
help him, help him. Gamelia said to them very plainly,
if this work, if this counsel is of God, you
will not be able to overthrow it, because you're gonna
(38:15):
find yourself fighting against God. But again, they just refused
to give up. So they commissioned Saul as a special
agent to go and you do our dirty work for us. Amen.
(38:38):
They're refusing to take heed to this good counsel, and
by gladly deputizing Saul Amen to carry out their heart's desire.
Little did they know. I love you know, I mean,
I mean, I just love the way God just turns
(38:59):
the tables, I mean, just turns the tables on the enemy.
Little did they know that God would, astonishingly, I mean,
to the surprise of the church, to the dismay of
these government officials. They were, they were, they would, they would.
(39:22):
They had no idea that God was. Again, see, this
is the beauty of God, in his foreknowledge, in his sovereignty,
and his wisdom and his power, in his ways. And
my ways are not your ways, My thoughts are not
you see, and and I is even again. Everybody is
(39:44):
astonished at this, everybody and what has just happened here?
What just happened. It's like, it's like, what just happened?
The number one enemy of the church has been converted?
Are you kidding me Ah turned from being a destroyer.
(40:07):
And by the way, Saul, the name I believe means destroyer,
he was turned from being a destroyer to being a
fellow builder of the church. In his way down that
path of personal destruction while seeking, of course, the destruction
(40:30):
of the church. Saul, the special government agent is arrested
by the Lord Jesus Christ himself, who then, oh, by
the way, he places Saul under house arrests for a season,
(40:50):
for at least three days. He was three days without sight,
three days he didn't eat, three days he didn't drink.
Under house arrest, a prayer, vigil, praying Who only God,
only God, only God, only God, only God, Oh, My God,
only God. Saul himself is completely astonished. His companions who
(41:16):
were traveling with him, the band of men, the other
special agents that were with him, they were all astonished
at what had just happened. And a Naias is understandably astonished.
The persecuted church is all all of them. They're all astonished.
The government officials, they are all astonished. They're special agent
(41:47):
has been apprehended. They're special agent has been arrested. To
now do the exact impost of what they were hoping
he would be able to do in taking down the
Church of Jesus Christ. You see what they meant for evil? Oh,
(42:12):
take me back to Genesis. Take me back to Genesis,
Take me back to Joseph. What they meant for evil,
God meant it for good. Who that was Jesus Ah.
Only God, only God, only God can turn the wicked
(42:33):
schemes and plans and plotting of even those who are
again in their positions of power and authority and government,
the rulers who think they are in control. Only God,
only God can astonish them. Amen. Again. At the end
(42:56):
of the day, every need is going about, every time
that's going to come pass that He is Lord. And
eventually everyone will be arrested one way or the other again,
because every neeeds gone about. Every time, I's going to
convince that He is Lord. Make your arrest on the
(43:21):
right side. Let it be on the right side. Come willingly, surrender,
give yourself up, come out with your hands up, get
down on your knees, and surrender to His will and
to His way. God be glorified in your people today.
Help someone today to see and to know again, to
(43:43):
come to the realization that you are God and God alone,
and there is none besides you. May someone somewhere be arrested, Lord,
for your namesake, for your kingdom, for your glory and honor.
In the Christ of Cavalry's name, we pray a man
