Speaker 1 (00:13):
Blessings, Blessings, blessings to each and every one of you.
We welcome you once again to this another edition of
End Time Revival Ministries us A. I am your host,
Pastor al Zachary, and today we are continuing in a
series that we've just begun simply entitled all about Jesus.

(00:37):
A man, All about Jesus, and that is a man
from Genesis of revelation. What the revelation of God is
all about is all about Jesus, a man coming down
to redeem us, a man to save us, to deliver us,
to set us free.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
A man.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
We know the a man the beginning of the creation
of man and the garden of Eden. Adam and Eve,
of course, rebelled and disobeyed God and brought sin into
the world. The first Adam, a man fell short, transgressed
a man the word of God, and brought sin into

(01:22):
the human family. But God, who is rich in mercy,
did not leave us in that condition. He made the
way for us to escape. And that is what our
focus is going to be on today.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
A man, this.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Jesus, a man is our way of salvations.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
All about Jesus.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Now, the problem that we have in our world today,
and we're going to get to this in just a moment.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
And by the way, I.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Want you, to a man, be attentive to the scriptures
that we're going to be reading from today. We're going
to be a multitude of them, several of them. Brother,
let me just put it that way, that we're going
to be reading from today that make reference to, of
course a man, the deity, the oneness, the manifestation of

(02:09):
a man God in Christ Jesus. Amen. And before we begin,
before we dive in, I'm just ready to go. I'm
reving to go. Let's take just a moment, amen, as
we invoke the presence of the Lord and thank him
for all of his.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Goodness toward us.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Again, Father, we love you because you first loved us,
and you have given to us life more abundantly, and
it has come to us through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
grace and truth and mercy and peace.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Amen. Unto us, Amen, because you loved us.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
And you would not again leave us in the state,
in the condition, the fallen world of sin that we
were a man born in two. So we thank you
Lord for your love and your kindness, and we pray
even more now than ever before that your spirit will
move up on the hearts of men and women everywhere,

(03:07):
that eyes will be open, that ears will be attentive,
that hearts will be changed to come to know that
you are the truly live in God. And there is
none beside the nun like n to the God would
give you praise and glory today. It's in the name
of Jesus, the Christ of Nazareth. We praying give thanks
for all things. Amen and amen, all about Jesus. But

(03:31):
our focus today is going to be on the fact
that there is no generic God, no generic God. And
this is troublesome in our world today to me at least, Amen,
because you hear bandit about the use of kind of
a generic title using the word God. In a sense,

(03:56):
it is saturated throughout our culture and it is very misleading,
and it can certainly be deceptive in a very devious
manner by those who deliberately again, in my opinion, deny
the deity, the lordship, the kingship, and the manifestation of

(04:21):
God in Christ Jesus as the one true Savior.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
And redeemer of mankind.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
People will use the generic title or word God, But
what God is it that they are referring to. Amen,
you hear people again say God this and God that.
But where is this God? And who is this God

(04:53):
that they are referring to. It's very generic in a sense.
And many religions, of course, if not all of them,
all of them really well, I'll just say, but many
of them relegate Jesus to the status of a generic
kind of religious leader.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
If that who is.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Only one amongst many other exalted beings or persons of notoriety,
in their in their in their opinion, in their in
their assessment, if you will. But the word of God,
which is God's self revelation of himself to man, is

(05:40):
all about Jesus being revealed in the flesh, coming down
to earth in the flesh to redeem lost man, in
saving us from the ravages of sin, saving us, delivering

(06:01):
us from the penalty of death, of death that was
again brought on us by the disobedience of Adam, a man,
when he, of course grasped for autonomy and in essence
just simply rebelled against God. Now, the problem that exists

(06:25):
for those who confess or profess a belief in God,
this God that they say, even when they say or
even when they are talking about the God of the Bible,
the God of Creation. By the way, and before I

(06:45):
say this, this belief in God, this profession of God,
a man, confession that he exists, that's just a basic beginning,
because the Bible tells us Romans chapter one, that God
has revealed himself. I mean, his godhead is clearly seen,

(07:09):
and the things that are made his eternality a man,
his self existence is clearly seen. So simply acknowledging the
God of Creation, the God of the Bible, is the
basic fundamental foundational first step, if you will, a man
in acknowledging that a man, that.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
There is the one and true living.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Being, the God of Creation by which we all have
our being an existence. So again that's just the beginning.
But again let me go back to the problem. The
problem for those who confess or profess is that they
cannot be saved from the sinful state that they are

(07:59):
in simply by a profession in God in a generic
way a man, when the God of Creation has spoken
to us in no uncertain terms that he was sending

(08:20):
into this world our only hope for salvation, which is
Christ Jesus.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
In other words, you cannot.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Give lip service to God while denying Jesus.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
You cannot be saved.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Honoring God with your lips while denying the deity, the lordship,
the kingship a man, the Savior, whom the God that
you profess, that you believe in, the one He sent
into the world to save you, you cannot be saved

(09:03):
any other way.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Salvation is only through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
And by the way, the salvation of mankind before the
creation of.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
The world was purposed in the lamb of God.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
The Bible teaches us, who was slain from the foundation
of the world. God is indeed our savior. But that's salvation.
A man comes by the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, exclusively,

(09:42):
without the shedding of blood. The Bible says, there is
no remission of sins, and without the shedding of His
pure and undefiled blood, we have no forgiveness. We have
no remission, We have no atone. We have no sacrifice
of any of our transgressions, any of our sins, any

(10:05):
of our iniquities, past, present or future. Now listen to
this Hebrews Chapter one. The Bible teaches God verse number
one Chapter one of Hebrews, who at various times and
in various ways, spoke in time past to the fathers

(10:28):
by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to
us by his son, whom he listened with.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
The Bible says, whom he has appointed air of.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
All things, through whom also he made the world. And
by the way again we take you back in our
opening session. Last week we began this podcast series the
Gospel of John Chapter one. In the beginning was the Word.

(11:06):
The word was with God. The word was God. All
things were made by Him, and without him, or apart
from him, was not anything made that was made.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
That is crystal clear scripture.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Amen, that Jesus was in the beginning, as he said
to the Jews before Abraham, was I Am And the
Jews knew perfectly what Jesus was saying when he made
that statement. And that's why the Bible tells us when
he said those words to him to them, brother, they

(11:45):
took up stones.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
To try to kill him.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Amen, because they knew that he was saying, I am.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
God, I always was, I always will be.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
And again when you go to the Book of Revelation,
and I'm just now, I mean this is all that
There are so many scriptures.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
There are so many scripture references.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Jesus is the beginning and the end, the first and
the last.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
He says Alpha and Omega. Amen.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
He says, I am the Almighty, He is God. So
the Bible tells us that God has in Christ, Jesus,
through Christ, Jesus spoken to us Amen. Verse number three

(12:41):
in the first in this first chapter of Hebrews, verse
number three, this last verse I'm going to read here. Now,
it's again, who is the writer talking about Jesus, Who
being the brightness of his glory, the glory of God.
And by the way, when you speak of the brightness
of the glory of God, remember Peter, James and John
saw him in the transfiguration on the mount of Transfiguration.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
They saw him in all of his gold.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
He was transfigured right before their faces.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
He is the very brightness of God. He is the
very essence of God, because he is God.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
So the Bible tells us here, who being the brightness
of his glory and the express image of his person,
and upholding all things by the word of his power.
When he had by himself purged our sins, sat down

(13:50):
at the right hand of the Majesty on high. That
is what Jesus did, and this is what God purpose
to happen, and it did happen. And a man again,
the only way for our sins. And this is what
the Book of Hebrews, by the way, is all about,

(14:11):
a man. In detail, the writer explains to us that
there is no remission of sins by the blood of
bulls and goats, pigeons and turtle doves.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
A man, no animal can take away your sin.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
By the way, he said, if it was possible that
these offerings, or these sacrifices for sins could take away
a man, could wash away, and could also purge the conscience,
then why would it be necessary for these people to
have been coming back year after year after year after year,
a man continually offering up sacrifices. If their sins had

(14:52):
been purged, washed away, a man put away by the
blood of that animal, It's not possible, amen, So please
understand that the only salvation, the only a man removal,
the only casting away of our sins, come through Jesus Christ.

(15:17):
And not believe it that Christ, Jesus is the propitiation
for your sin debt. It leaves you without the one
and the only acceptable sacrifice for sins. Again, the blood
of bulls, the blood of goats, rams, nor lambs never

(15:41):
atoned for the sins of any man. Otherwise it would
not have been necessary for Jesus to come down from
heaven to earth to die for our sins. First John
three and five tells us that he was manifested to
take away our sins. So the salvation of all men

(16:08):
is through his sacrifice of his body and the shedding
of his blood. And in order for any man to
be saved, he must first believe in Jesus, and he
must believe in what Jesus.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
Has accomplished on our behalf.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
And after the death, the burial, the resurrection, and the
ascension of Jesus back up to Heaven after the Day
of Pentecosts, that spokesman of the Church, the Early Church,
Peter the Apostle, preached the exclusivity of salvation.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
In the name of.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Jesus alone, Acts four. We now take you to verse
number ten, Acts Chapter four Peter preaching Jesus to the people.
Preaching the Gospel to the people. Verse number ten. He says,

(17:25):
be it known unto y'all and to all the people
of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,
whom you crucified, whom God raised.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
From the dead. Even by him, doth this.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Man stand here before you? Hold he was referencing, of course,
the man who was healed, a lame man who was
at the temple. You can read about that in Acts
chapter three, going into chapter four. This is the stone,
Peter says, which was set at naught of you builders,
which has become the head of the corner. By the way,

(18:07):
the stone, this reference that Peter is now using, is
in the Old Testament.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
All of this was prophesied beforehand.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
And so Peter picks this up and says, this is
the stone, the stone, the stone that you builders neglected.
It is he is. It's a person, is Christ, who
is the stone? Who is the rock? Amen, he was
the rock in the wilderness. He's the stone that was
cut out of the mountain without hands, and the vision
a man that was in the book of Daniel. Amen,

(18:40):
this stone, Peter says, is become the head of the corner.
Neither is there Look what he says verse twelve very important.
Neither is there salvation in any other.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Any other For there is none of the name.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved,
Ladies and gentlemen, people of God people everywhere. Jesus Christ
his name through him, because of his bloodshed, because of

(19:30):
his atoning sacrifice. Salvation is exclusively in him, through him
and by him. And I said, I believe in our
last session that he alone is the disseminator of the
Holy Spirit. You cannot receive the Holy Spirit any other way.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
He is the one who sends the Holy.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Spirit, he told the apostles. He told the disciples, I
will send the promise.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Of my Father. I will, I will. Those who call
upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. What name.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
The title the generic name of God or the generic
title God. No, ladies and gentlemen, If you don't believe
that Jesus said about that this is the words of him.
These are not my words, he said. If you don't
believe that I am here, you will die in your sins.
Those who call upon the name of the Lord shall
be saved. Roman Chapherd ten. How should they call on

(20:37):
him whom they have not believed in? How can they
believe in him of whom they have not heard? There
is salvation in none other but Jesus, the Christ, no
other way, no other name, no generic god. It is

(20:58):
exclusively in by and through Christ Jesus that anyone can
be saved. Now again, where does Peter, by the way,
learn this exclusive truth? Well, first of all, of course,
he was with Jesus during the entirety of his three

(21:20):
and a half year ministry here on the earth. But Peter, also,
ladies and gentlemen, received divine revelation from above.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
When did he get this divine revelation?

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Well, it was when, and by the way, you can
turn to Matthew chapter sixteen.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
It was when he responded.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
To Jesus asking the disciples, whom do men say that
I am? And then he turned to the disciples and said,
but whom.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Do you say that I am?

Speaker 1 (21:56):
Matthew sixteen sixteen Simon Peter spoke up and answered the
Bible says and said, thou art the Christ, the son
of the Living God, the Christ.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
What does that mean?

Speaker 1 (22:16):
The Messiah, the anointed One, the one whom the Jews
were expecting looking for, the one who had been prophesied
in the Old Testament, Amen, who was to come to
redeem Israel, to save his people from their sins, Amen
the Christ. Peter said, thou art the Christ, you are

(22:40):
the Messiah.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
You're the one to whom we have been looking waiting expecting.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Amen, Thou art the Christ, the son of the Living God,
and Jesus watch it. Wait a minute, now, hold on,
that's wonderful. Peter said that. But again, where did he
get it from? Look what the Bible says, verse seventeen
Matthew sixteen. Jesus answered and said, unto him, blessed art

(23:11):
thou simon Barjona, For flesh and blood hath not revealed
it unto thee, but my Father.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Which is in heaven.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Only, ladies and gentlemen, by revelation from God, the Father,
who is in heaven, do we get the understanding that
Jesus is.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
God manifested in the flesh.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Those who do not get the revelation, those who do
not get the understanding from above. In their confusion, they protest,
some of them.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
That there is what we would ask again.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Those of us who believe in Jesus and understand and
have the revelation, they say, they protest that we are
serving two gods or three gods. No no, no, no, no,
no no.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Amen. And by the way.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Even those who were following Jesus John chapter fourteen turned
there very quickly. Many of those who were disciples of Jesus,
they didn't get it. They didn't get it at first.
It took and by the way, it took the Holy Spirit.
It took a man them seeing the risen Savior for

(24:35):
many of them to finally have their eyes open. And
by the way, you remember, after the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
he was on the road to Maya's with two who
were traveling back, and the Bible says he had to
open their eyes and he explained to them the scriptures.
He explained to them all things concerning him.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
And so even those who had been with Jesus, who
were disciples, who were following him, many of them did
not get it. They didn't get They said, you can
only get the revelation from God that this is the
way I am. What did Jesus say, I am the way,

(25:19):
I am the truth, I am the life John fourteen.
Thomas was one of the disciples of Jesus. We I
mean Thomas has the.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
Doubting Thomas. That's what we called him. You know, because
after the resurrection of Jesus.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
He wasn't among the disciples when Jesus first appeared, and
he said, I won't believe until I see, until I touch,
until I feel him. And so we refer to this
Thomas as being doubting Thomas. But this Thomas in John
chapter fourteen, this is before the Crucifixion, the bear, the resurrection.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Thomas says to Jesus verse number five, Lord, we do
not know where you are going. Jesus was by the
way preparing his disciples for his eventual departure. And so
Thomas says to Jesus, Lord, we don't know where you're going.
And how can we know the way? Jesus said to him,
I am the Way, the Truth, and the life. No

(26:24):
one listen what Jesus says. No one comes to the
Father except through me. If you had known me. Now
he's not finished, So we're not talking about to gods.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
Ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
Listen carefully, Thomas, verse seven. If you had known me,
you would have known my father also, And from now on.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
You know him and have seen him.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Oh my god, you know what do you realize what
Jesus is saying here?

Speaker 2 (27:10):
And I know you know, I know everybody yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
I mean, this is not this, ladies and gentlemen, this
is not double speak double talk.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Amen, I'm let me, Let me keep reading.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
So Philip said, unto him, Lord, show us the Father,
and it is sufficient for us. Jesus said to Philip,
have I been with you so long and yet you
have not known me?

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Philip, he who has seen me has seen the Father.
So how can you say, show us the Father?

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Do you not believe that I am in the Father
and the Father in me. The words that I speak
to you, I do not speak of my own authority,
but the Father, who dwells in me does the works.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Believe me.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
That I am in the Father and the Father in me,
or else believe me for the sake of the works themselves.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Now I'm almost finishing.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
All of the miracles, the signs, and wonders that were
performed by Jesus. They all attested to his power, to
his deity. Remember the conversation Jesus had with Nicodemus. How
Nicodemus came to Jesus by night, and he said, we
know that you came from God, because no one can

(28:53):
do these miracles, these signs, these wonders that you are
doing except God be with him in him, and that
he is of God. We know that you came from God.
That's what Nicodemus said to Jesus. And man again, Nicodemus

(29:14):
in there the full revelation. Nicodemus did not have the
full understanding because they went on to converse about certain things,
and certainly it showed that he didn't have it a man,
because Jesus said, are you a master teacher? And you
don't understand? I'm speaking to you of earthly things and
you don't understand. How then who you understand if I
speak to you of heavenly things? And that's why people

(29:34):
cannot understand, cannot get it unless God reveals it. It
has to be revelation from God. Now, how do we
get that revelation? Is it some special magical kind of
you know? Something that we have to do?

Speaker 2 (29:53):
Is something? Listen?

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Listen to Bible again. The Word of God, and I'm
talking about the living Word. The Word of God speaks
clearly to all of us. Faith comes by hearing, by
hearing the word of God. The more you hear of

(30:15):
the Word of God, you must believe it or you
will reject it. Faith comes by hearing you need the
word of God. You need to hear the word of God.
You need to hear the revelation of God, the Gospel
of John.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
It's all about the deity of Jesus.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
Jesus with the we refer to these seven I am statements.
I mean, those things are just so crystal clearly Jesus,
I mean it is I mean, this is not even
It's either he's.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
Telling the truth.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
Or he is just the most outrageous liar that ever existed.
So there is no road middle ground, you know, no, no, no,
no platitudes about Oh he was a good teacher, he
was a good person, he was a good religious figure
in all.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no no, that's
not what Jesus said of himself.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
Jesus says, I am before Abraham was I am?

Speaker 2 (31:35):
I am God. Have you seen.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
The Father, Thomas, If you've seen me, Philip, how can.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
You not know?

Speaker 1 (31:52):
Now, whatever generic God of the religions of this world
that is in the minds of those who do not
yet have the revelation, of those who do not yet
have the understanding of the God of the Bible, the

(32:18):
God of creation, the God who revealed himself in the
person of Jesus Christ. Whatever generic God that they are
referring to, it is not the.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
God of the Bible. It is not the God of creation.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
It is not the self existing God, who is eternal, immortal, invisible,
who is the only wise God and Savior.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
It's not that God. Let me close with these.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
Words of the apostle Paul onverse Timothy, chapter three, verse sixteen,
and without controversy, great is.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
The mystery of godliness. Listen carefully.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the spirit,
seen by angels, preached among the gentiles, believed on in
the world, received up in glory, ladies and gentlemen. Who

(33:39):
is the one and only being who fits this description.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
This verse Jesus, Jesus is God manifested in the flesh. Father.
We pray now that somebody somewhere will come to.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Know that you are the Way, the Truth, and the Life,
and that there is no salvation in any other but
through Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God,
the Savior of all them that believe. So we pray

(34:34):
that eyes will be open, ears will be attuned, and
hearts will be converted, that you will be glorified in
all things, and Jesus the Christ of Cavali's name.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
We pray and give thanks. Amen and Amen. M
