anticipation of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, who
is going to, according to the promises of God, change
our vile bodies, and we're going to be like him.

(01:27):
We're going to be with him. And we are certainly
rejoicing in that hope Nevertheless, we live in a world
that is in dire need of hope and salvation, of
this blessed assurance of the Gospel that it brings to
all who.

Believe, liberation and freedom. Amen.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
And so this is our charge, this is our responsibility,
this is our calling, This is our duty to preach
the gospel a man, to be faithful to the word
of God, and to warn men and women everywhere to

Again, this is our amen, calling to a man, proclaim
the truth of God faithfully.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
And don't do it for the money, don't do it
for the fame and fortune.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Amen. This is a man.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
A calling that is on us, and I'm determined amen,
to answer the call. And of course, one of my
favorite prayers, one of my number one, if not my
number one prayer, of course, is I want to hear
the Lord say well done, good and faithful servant, So

(03:07):
I want to be found faithful to what God has
charged me with.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Amen. All right.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
We're in a series for those of you who have
been following along with us God, Government, church and state. God, Government,
Church and state. And today we're going to look at
government cover up. Amen, a government cover up?

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Wow? Is that real? Yes?

Speaker 2 (03:36):
It is in the Bible too, in your Bible government
cover up. Before we begin, quick moment word of prayer.
Father again, Great is your faithfulness, Great is your grace, mercy, love, peace,
kindness toward us, your long suffering. Thank you that our
sins have been forgiven. We have been delivered from the
power of darkness, translated into the kingdom of your dear son.

(04:00):
Thank you for the blood of Jesus Christ that was
shed for the remission of our sins. Thank you that
he rose again for our redemption to redeem us from
all iniquity. We give you praise, glory and honor today.
Thank you for your word that you've sent down from
heaven that we may eat and live thereby be glory
finding your people everywhere.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
We give you praise and honor. Amen and Amen.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
All right, government cover up? We in Matthew's Gospel Chapter
twenty seven. I'm going to read a few verses at
the end of this chapter twenty seven. And of course, again,
if you've been following along with us, you know that
we've been from the scriptures examining and asserting the fact
that Jesus did not shy away from intervening with the government.

(04:49):
Not only did he not shy away, he challenged the
leaders of that day in many instances as they also
came to challenge him.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Amen. And he certainly spoke the truth. Amen.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
And he did not again at all shy away from
you know, the government of his day. But as we
already he would of course be led to Calvary and
crucified because of their insistence that he be removed from

(05:33):
their midst And so he he he certainly provoked them. Not,
and we asserted this as well. He didn't provoke them
in a bad way. He was provoking them to good,
to good works, to believing on him with all the miracles, signs,

(05:57):
and wonders, everything that he did. A man, he was
provoking them, a man to repentance, a man he came
to seeking to save that which was lost. But again,
those who are self righteous, those who are rebellious. Those
who will persist in their unbelief a man, they will
die in their sins. These are the words of Jesus.
If you don't believe that I am he a man,

(06:19):
he said, you will die in your sins. Matthew's Gospel,
chapter number twenty seven, Universe number sixty two. On the
next day, which followed the day of preparation, the chief
priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilot, saying, we remember

(06:41):
while he was still alive, how that deceiver said, after
three days I will rise. Therefore, command that the tomb
be made secure until the third day, lest his disciples
come by night and steal him away and say to

(07:05):
the people he has risen from the dead. So the
last deception will be worse than the first.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Pilots said to them.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
You have a guard, go your way, make it as
secure as you know. How so they went and made
the tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the god Amen. Now,

(07:42):
of course, after these corrupt, jealous government leaders, the Elders
describes the Pharisees the sadties.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
They all colluded together.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Of course, after they accomplished their goal of murdering Jesus.
Remember they kept conspiring how they were going to get
rid of him, and they sought on many occasions to
kill him, even to stone him. But of course again
that was not the way. It wasn't time. Of course,
that Jesus was going to die, and so their collusion

(08:14):
now was not yet over, even though they again had
accomplished their mission at least in their minds of putting
him to death. And by the way, of course, as
Jesus said, no one takes my life from me, I
lay it down willingly. Nevertheless, they remembered how that Jesus
promised that he would rise again the dead. He said,

(08:37):
destroy this temple, and in three days that would raise
it up. He said, as the prophet Jonah was three
days and three nights in the heart of the belly
of a fish, so the Son of Man will be
three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Also he promised disciples that he would see them again,
that he would rise again. All of these things so

(08:58):
they remembered, amen, that Jesus promised his resurrection from the dead. However,
they did not believe that Jesus had the power to
do this amen, so they thought that it would be
a conspiracy, a collusion of his disciples coming together, perhaps

(09:20):
a man to steal away his body and make the
words of Jesus a reality. So they make their petition
to pilot Amen, to ensure that there would be no collusion,
to ensure that his disciples would not come with some
kind of trickery a man again, to make the promise
of Jesus a reality. Oh, thank God that he does

(09:44):
not depend upon us. He does not need us to
make his word a force. Amen, to make his word
a reality, to make his promises. Yay and Amen, thank God,
he doesn't need us Amen, to fulfill his word.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Now. Jesus is coming back, whether we believe it or not. Amen.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
He is God, whether we believe it or not. It
is not dependent upon our belief. It's not dependent what
God has promised to do. Folks, Please understand this, what
God has promised to do is not dependent upon man
cooperating at all.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Amen. He doesn't need our assistance. He doesn't need our help. Amen.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
It is for our benefit. It is for our good
if we do, of course believe, and we do, of
course cooperate.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
And by the way, this was one miracle above all
others that they could not even fathom in their minds
that it should take place. Jesus had already demonstrated his
power and his authority over death when he raised Jayris,

(11:00):
his daughter from the dead, when he raised the weeping
widow's son from the dead as they were passing by,
if you remember the funeral procession, and Jesus a man,
raised the young man from the dead as they were
going to the a man gravesite to bury him. And then,
of course, most recently, shortly before he would be put

(11:21):
to death, of course, Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead,
which was incredible in the fact that this man, Lazarus,
had been dead for four days, a man, and he
was already in the grave, not like the daughter who
had just fallen asleep, not like the young man who
was a man on his way, a man to a

(11:45):
man burial site. This man, Lazarus was a man four
days a man four days dead. And of course there
was I believe, I've read this before, a belief that
the spirit or the soul of a person hovered over
the body for a period of forty eight seventy two

(12:09):
hours or so. And in these cases they would argue,
for example, and the other two resurrections, they would argue that, oh,
they just they were not really dead. Their spirit, you know,
came back, and their soul came back and revived them.
So they would be able to discount the miracle of

(12:34):
Jarius's daughter and a man, the widow's son, being raised
from dead. But in the case of Lagardy, Hey, man,
we're talking about four days a man riga mortis a man.
The worms, the skin worms, as Joe spoke of them,
had already begun a man their work. By this time

(12:54):
the body was decaying a man, and of course they
could not argue against that miracle. And by the way,
if you remember in the eleventh chapter of the Gospel
of John, I mean, I think this is where the
miracle takes place. And it goes on into the twelfth
chapter of the Gospel of John where the leaders, the
government leaders conspired together also, if you remember, to put

(13:18):
Lazarus to death. They wanted to kill him, amen, so
that they could discount the miracle. They didn't know such
thing when it came to the others that were raised
from the dead. But in this particular case and man,
the raising of Lazarus from the dead, which was prefiguring
what would happen with Jesus and all of the saints
of God. By the way, Amen, they said, we've got

(13:42):
to even put Lazarus to death because a man because
of him, a lot of people are believing on Jesus,
and so they remember these things. However, they steal did
not attribute to Jesus the power.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
To be raised from the dead of his own accord.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
No, they persisted in their unbelief a man that Jesus
was able to be resurrected from the dead. And this
is the corrosive effect of unbelief. By the way, even
when miracles and signs and wonders have been witnessed a
man by the unbeliever, when he is hardened in his heart,

(14:27):
no amount of persuasiveness, no amount of evidence and reasoning,
will overcome a man.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Excuse me that.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Spirit of rebellion, because it has taken root a man
within the heart. And we need to look no further,
of course, than the Israelites, who were a man miraculously
all of the signs and wonders that God performed delivering
them out of bondage, out of slavery in Egypt, a
man from their task masters. They they they witnessed firstthand

(15:02):
all of the plagues and all of the signs in
the wonders, and even after they were brought out a man.
It was that generation, with the exception of two, that
perished in the wilderness. Why because of their unbelief. They
simply refused to believe God. Miracle after miracle, sign after sign,
one after wonder. They ate bread from heaven. God gave

(15:25):
them meat in their lust, water out of a rock.
I mean, what more do you want to see?

Speaker 1 (15:32):
Their clothes never wore out, their shoes never wore out. Amen.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
And so like that generation, the generation of Jesus, they
also witnessed supernatural miracle, signs and wonders a man performed
by Jesus, a man. And of course Jesus compared them
to their fathers who perished in the wilderness, who rebelled
against Moses in God, of course a man. And again

(15:59):
it just shows us how that unbelief is what keeps
people shackled in chains of bundage. Unbelief is murderous. Unbelief
is a very powerful, again and corrosive force. A man

(16:19):
that destroys a man, the soul of a man, a man,
and so these government leaders. They were so blinded by
their own greed and lust for power and control, of course,
that they willfully ignored the miracles that they saw with

(16:41):
their own eyes. They willfully disregarded the fulfillment of the
prophecies of the scriptures, their prophets that God sent to them,
wrote of prophesied concerning the Messiah, when he would come,
what he would do, where he would be born, all

(17:02):
of these things. And had you even had wise men,
the body was speaking of these wise men that came
from Afar, where is he born? King of the Jews?
Whereas those who were there, who had the scriptures, who
had the oracles of God, they simply had to search
the scriptures and see whether or not these things were

(17:23):
so it was being fulfilled right in their midst.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
They wilfully disregarded a man all of these things.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
And even by the way, in their collusion to murder Jesus,
they themselves were unaware in their minds. And this again,
this is how the mind can be so corrupted. They
were unaware in their own minds that they were also
fulfilling the prophecies that were written before concerning Jesus in

(17:56):
their own A man acts of a man, rebellion against
a man, Jesus. And so they murdered Jesus, put him
to death. And now they want to be certain, They
want to be absolutely certain that this is the end
of his threat to their power. Amen, an influence a man,

(18:21):
They want that power, They want that influence. This is listen,
I'm gonna tell you something. There's something about power that corrupts.
And this is just the way of man. This is
the nature of man. And so they, in their minds
and in their collusion, they decided that we will not
take any chance at all of his disciples mustering up

(18:46):
the courage. By the way, and keep in mind, never
forget this, that the disciples all forsook Jesus. They fled
a man, They left him. He was left alone and forsaken.
And they were they were in despair, they were in fear.
These guys were not going to come and search out

(19:06):
the body of Jesus and then go and boldly proclaim
that he was risen from the dead if he was
not not, these guys they were cowering in fear.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Amen. They were disappointed in Jesus.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Amen, and they were that that's where their hope was.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
And so to believe this was the belief of the
or the stated belief of what the the you know,
the the government leaders and their conspiracy wanted to and
man put forth at the disciples. The disciples of Jesus
would somehow again muster up the carriage and the boldness

(19:47):
to come steal the body of Jesus and then make
what Jesus promised a reality.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Hm.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Wow, okay, So let's go quickly to Matthew chapters twenty.
The next chapter, so after the sabbath, as the first
day of the week began to done, Mary Magdalene and
the other Mary came to see the tomb, and behold,
there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the

(20:17):
Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the
stone from the door and sat on it. His countenance
was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.
And the guards, remember the guards are still there, Amen,

(20:38):
the Bible says, shook for fear of him, and became
like dead men. But the angel answered and said to
the women, do not be afraid, for I know that
you seek Jesus, who was crucified.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
He is not here.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
He is risen as he said, come see the place
where the Lord lay, and go quickly and tell his
disciples that he is risen from the dead. And indeed
he is going before you into Galilee. There you will
see him. Behold, I have told you. So they went

(21:23):
out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy,
and ran to bring his disciples word.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Remember they were cowering.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
In fear a man, and still in bewilderment at what
had taken place. And so again they now get the
news a man that Jesus has risen from the dead.
The Bible says, as they went to tell his disciples, behold,
Jesus met them. He met the women a man, saying rejoice.

(21:58):
So they came and held him him by the feet
and worshiped him.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
Then Jesus said to them, do not be afraid.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
Go and tell my brethren to go to Galilee, and
there they will see me. Now, while they were going,
behold some of the guard. Now here is the government
cover up, Ladies and gentlemen, here is the government cover up.
Some of the guard came into the city and reported

(22:30):
to the chief priests all the things that had happened
when they had assembled with the elders and consulted together.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
There it is, they're colluding again here.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
They got to work this cover up. What are we
gonna do, what are we gonna say? How we're gonna
handle this? Everything that happened. The soldiers, these are Roman soldiers, amen,
And they were responsible for guarding the tomb. And this
is with their own life, amen. And they knew that.

(23:06):
And so nevertheless they come back. They didn't go to
Pontius pilot. They didn't go to their amen leaders. Ay, man,
they go to the chief priest because they've got to
find a way around all of this. And man, how
do how do we maneuver out of this? Let me
tell you what happened. There was an angel that came

(23:27):
that was a great earthquake, an angel from heaven came
and we just all passed out.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
We lost consciousness, amen.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
And the tomb was open, and we even saw that
the body of Jesus is no longer there.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
And so what do we do? What do we do?
What do we do? They told?

Speaker 2 (23:51):
The Bible says the chief priest, this is the government,
Ladies and gentlemen, all what had happened?

Speaker 1 (23:59):
The Bible said? They assembled together with the elders, they
consulted together. In other words, again, they made they made
a story, They made something that would perhaps just a
fly with pilot.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
And and uh and and the rest of the people.
And they said, we've we've got to handle this. This,
this is, this is by the way, this happens all
the time.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
It still happens to this day.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
Of course, we will never get full truth from any
government lady in town. Matter of fact, most of us
can't handle the truth. Of course, we can't handle all
the whole truth and the whole truth and nothing but
the truth. So no, no, no, we can't. We can't
handle it. Most people can't handle it if they really
knew a lot of the things that the government covers up.

(24:57):
A man with this cover up, my god, my god. Okay,
So they the Bible says, they assemble together, They consulted together,
and they gave Look what happened. They gave a large
psalm money to the soldiers. When all else fails, good
old fashioned bribery, Good old fashioned bribery works. And they

(25:22):
said to the soldiers, tell them his disciples came at
night and stole him away while we slept, ladies and gentlemen,
that does not fly, that does not fly. These soldiers
had specific orders and duties and responsibilities. First watched, the

(25:46):
second watch, the third watch, the fourth watch. They had
round the clock duty. And for them to say that
we all fell asleep, and while we were sleeping so
soundly that the disciples came rolled away the stone took

(26:06):
the body of Jesus out.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
So they stuck with that one.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
What they had told Pilot, what they had feared in
their minds, at least, what happened. They came to, aymen
this conclusion that this is the best story that we
can come up with. This is the best cover up
that we can come up with. Tell them that the

(26:33):
disciples came by night and stole the body of Jesus
while we Roman soldiers, with our lives on the line,
were sleeping. And if this comes to the governor's ears,
this is what they said, Pilot of the years, about this,

(26:54):
we will appease him and.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
Make you cure man, oh man. So the Bible tells
us the soldiers took the money, did as they were instructed,
And this saying is commonly reported among the Jews, and
to this day. Now again, ladies and gentlemen, the spirit

(27:18):
of unbelief and the blindness of the heart that accompanies unbelief.
Of course, it persists.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
In our world to this day, of course, and this
is why, of course the church has to mandate the
mission that Jesus gave to the Church. Of course, right
even here in this twenty eighth chapter of Matthew's Gospel,
before he would ascend back up to heaven, he would
say to.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
His disciples, go preach, teach.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
Amen, We've got to go and reach the world. Teach
the world, preach to the world this gospel message. And
of course we're going to look at, of course what
the disciples certainly did go forward and do.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
But the governments then and even now to this very day,
do not want the government of God, not want the
Kingdom of God to rule over this world. In their minds,
this world belongs to them. This world is their world, Amen.
And so they have the answers, of course in their

(28:27):
minds to all of the man problems of poverty and inequity,
of the wars and diseases and natural disasters. We know
how to fix everything. We know how that we've got
We got this. We don't need God, Amen, we don't
need this Jesus that you all preach about and talk about.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
They don't want Jesus, they don't want his king, they
don't want his authority, they don't want his word.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
So government cover up of the truth about Jesus is
an agoing collusive effort a man that Psalm number two,
of course, speaks about a man in their rebellion against
their creator, Psalm number two, verses two and three. And
I'm closing here.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
The kings of the earth, the Bible says, set themselves.
That speaks of government.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers
take counsel together. They collude a man against the Lord
and against his anointed, saying, let us break their bandons
asunder and cast away their cords from us. They do

(29:40):
not want God. But nevertheless, ladies, gen Church of the
Living God, no collusive efforts on their heart, nor any
ongoing cover up of the truth of the Word of God,
and the reality of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from
the dead, will circumvent the inevitable return of Jesus Christ.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
Amen. This same Jesus who was crucified.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
Will return, And he is the judge of the quick
and the dead.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
He made a promise. He doesn't need us to fulfill
his promise, to fulfill his word. He's coming again, no
matter what men may say, nor do.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
Father help us today. Speak to someone's heart today, speak
to someone's mind.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Today, Change the.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Obstinate heart, the rebellious heart, as only you can do
by the power of your Holy Spirit.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
In the name of Jesus Christ, we praying your things
for all things. Amen. And a man
