the name of the Lord.

Is to be praise.

Speaker 2 (00:24):

is no other salvation for mankind than that which is
in and through and by Christ, Jesus our Lord. And

(01:05):

will if you will go with us to the Book
of the Acts of the Apostles, chapter number four, we

to the Lord. Well all of you who pray for
and support the work of this ministry, and we certainly

Our endeavor here is to speak the truth of God plainly, boldly,
without compromise a man because we are entrusted by God
with the word of the Lord. We've been entrusted with
this calling, and we certainly endeavor to with all that
is within us, and by the help of God, to

(01:55):
be faithful to the truths of the scriptures, to preach
the Word, to be instant in season out of season, reprove, rebuke,
exhort with all.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Long suffering and doctrine.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
For we know, as the Bible tells us through prophecy,
the time will come when men will not want to
endure sound doctrine. And we know that we are living
in such a time as that which the Bible has
already spoken of.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
And so Amen.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
And again it is our a man endeavor, by the
help of God, to a man be faithful to the
scriptures and preach the word of the Lord. Amen, without compromise.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
All right, before we begin Acts chapter number four, let's
take a moment to invoke the presence of the Lord Father.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Again.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
We are just so grateful to You for all of
your mercies that are new every morning. Great is your
faithfulness to us.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Lord.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
You've been good, You've been merciful, You've been faithful, compassionate,
long suffering, and forgiving loved us with an everlasting love,
even while we were yet in our sins.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Lord, you came seeking to save that which was lost.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
And we pray even now that your mercy will extend
to somebody today who needs to know that you are
the true in the Living God.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Lord.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Someone's eyes and ears will be open, their hearts will
be receptive to come to believe and know that you
are the true in the Living God.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
And there is none beside the save us, and we
shall be saved.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Help us, and we shall be helped keep us, and
we shall be kept by the power of the Mighty,
Almighty and Living God. We give you praise and honor today,
and the name of Jesus Christ, we praise the thanks,
Amen and amen no other salvation. Verse number one, Acts,

(03:47):
Chapter four, reading from the King James version. And as
they spake unto the people, the priests and the captain
of the temple and the Sadducees came upon them, being
greed that they taught the people and preached through Jesus
the resurrection from the dead. And they laid hands on

(04:10):
them and put them in hold unto the next day.
For it was now evening tide. Howbeit many of them
which heard the word believed, and the number of them
was about five thousand. And it came to pass on
the Mara that their rulers and elders, and scribes, and Annus,

(04:34):
the High Priest, and Caiaphas, and John and Alexander, and
as many as were of the kindred of the High Priest,
were gathered together at Jerusalem. And when they had set
them in the midst, they asked, by what power or

(04:54):
by what name have you done this? Then Peter, filled
with the ego, said unto them, ye, rulers of the
people and elders of Israel, if we this day be
examined of the good deed done to the impotent man,

(05:16):
by what means he has made whole. Be it known
unto you all and to all the people of Israel,
that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom
ye crucified, whom.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
God raised from the dead, even by.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Him, doth this man stand here before you. Hold This
is the stone which will set at naught of you builders,
and is become the head of the corner.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Neither is their.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Salvation in any other, For there is none other under
Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Now.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and
perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled,
and they took knowledge of them that they.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Had been with Jesus.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
The Acts of the Apostles chapter number four, Verses one
through thirteen. This all takes place in the aftermath of
the miracle healing of a crippled man who had never
walked Amen, when the Apostles were on their way in
chapter number three to the temple to pray, and the
man asked of them alms, and Peter said, silving gold,

(06:48):
I do not have, but such as I do have,
give idea in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Up and walk Amen.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
So this a man healing, called such a commotion, and
the people were all amazed. And of course Peter went
on to take the opportunity to preach the gospel to them.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
And this is why.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
The chief priests and the rulers and all of the
a man establishment is disturbed because of a man. The
fact that the Apostles are now preaching Jesus Christ, and
people are yet marveling today when they hear of the unapologetic,

(07:31):
bold preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that is,
by the way the power of God to salvation to
all who will believe, to all who will receive this gospel.
One thing that I am absolutely certain about is this.
The Word of God is crystal clear about who the

(07:53):
Savior is. The Word of God is crystal clear about
the fact that it is through this Savior alone.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
That we are to be saved.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
The Word of God is crystal clear in the record
of the unambiguous statements of Jesus Christ himself made concerning
who our Savior is. I am he is what Jesus
said emphatically. Now, of course, this is the source from

(08:31):
which Peter and John and the rest of these Upper
Room disciples, if you will, got this audacious spirit to
teach the people this way of salvation.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Of course, from the perspective of a man.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
The rulers and again the establishment, these men were ignorant,
they were unlearned, they will untrained, and the one and
only other source of their boldness and learning had to
come from none other than the man called Jesus, who
they assumed they were done with after he was sealed

(09:16):
up in that tomb.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
But now, oh no, no.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
No, Now they are contending with not one preacher, not
one miracle healer.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
But do you remember what Jesus said to the apostles,
greater works, you'll be able to do.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
And because I go to the Father. And now that
they were multiplied, remember why Jesus.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Was even here.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
He gave the disciples power to go out and perform
miracles and signs and wonders. And he also on another occasion,
sent out seventy And so now that Jesus is gone,
they're not contending with just this one preacher, just this
one miracle worker, just this one proclamator, if you will.

(10:07):
But now it would soon be, and it already has
turned into literally an army of soldiers who would go
into all the world preaching this same Jesus, a man
who was by the way, very much alive, who is
even now seated at the right hand of the Majesty

(10:29):
in the heavens. So who is the focus, the central
focus of the preaching of the apostles to the people,
none other than Jesus, the Christ, Jesus of Nazareth, whom
they had cruci five. And this is exactly what Peter
reminds the people of who had consented, by the way

(10:52):
to the murder of Jesus, Jesus of Nazrath is still
performing miracles of healing, even though, Amen, he is no
longer bodily here a man in the flesh. It is
through his name, it is through the power. It is
through the authority that he is given to the apostles,
given to the Church, given to those who believe on him,

(11:14):
that through that name, and that name only by the way.
Remember in the Book of Acts. Later on they will
have these, Amen, seven sons of Skiva, who would take
upon themselves a man the audacity to cast out demons
from this demon possessed individual. Of course, the demons did

(11:37):
come out, but before they came out, they said, Jesus,
I know, and Paul, I know, but who are you?
And they leaped upon them and wounded them and drove
them out, a man naked and a shame, as it were.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
And so again, Jesus, although.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
He is no longer here bodily in the flesh, because
of course he's risen from the dead, a death hell
in the grave, and he ascended back up into heaven,
and the apostles by the way witnessed his ascension a man,
as he was taken up on a cloud. And again,
even though he is no longer here, and they no

(12:17):
longer are contending with one preacher, one apostle, one chief apostle,
if you will, that's who Jesus is. He's the chief apostle.
They are now contending with an army of soldiers. And
this lame man has been made hold by Jesus, Peter says,

(12:39):
by the name of Jesus, by the power that's in him,
by the authority that we have vested in us. This Jesus,
who is the stone that was rejected by you, the establishment,
who is now the head of the corner. He is
the chief cornerstone. You ought to ree the scriptures, Peter,

(13:01):
in my mind, I believe he would, And I don't
know if he did refer back to this, but of
course he was in essence referring to the stone that
was cut out without hands a man, the stone that.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
The Bible speaks of in the Old Testament, that.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Same rock that provided water in the desert, that same rock, Amen,
that is a man, that great mountain that feels the
whole earth, that crushes all of the kingdoms of this world.
This man was healed by this Jesus, who is the
chief cornerstone, on whom the whole building is fitly framed

(13:40):
and put together. And if you and I are to
be saved, if you and I are to be free
from blood guiltiness, this is what Peter is preaching to
these people. There is one and only one by whom
you must be delivered. What Peter and Apostles would go
on to preach not on on that day, but insisted

(14:02):
on until they were martyred for the insistence. I mean,
they insisted on this. Ladies and gentlemen. They preach Jesus.
They preached him crucified, they preached him risen. They preached
him as God. They preached him as the Judge. They
preach him as the one who is coming back. They
preached Jesus. That's what we need to be preaching today. Amen,

(14:25):
we need to preach Jesus. Go into all the world.
Jesus commanded and commissioned the church. Preach the gospel. What
is the gospel, The good news of Jesus Christ, the
good news of salvation, the good news of hope, the
good news of deliverance, the good news that you and
I don't have to die where we can live.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
So they insisted all the way unto martyrdom, that this
Jesus is the only way that has been provided for
man to be save. Now for the life, I want
to say, for the life of me, but I'm still alive,
But for the life of these bold eyewitnesses of Jesus

(15:11):
who laid down their lives for this good news.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
That man has been given away too escape.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Why is this so difficult for people to comprehend. I
don't think it's difficult for them to comprehend.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
I don't think it is at.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
All, because I mean, it's crystal clear. Jesus spoke plainly,
he stated, And this is where Peter and Apostles got
this from.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
Remember they struggled themselves with believing who Jesus was.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
And remember Jesus asked his disciples, who the men say
that I am? Some say you are liar, some say
you are the want of the prophets. Some say this Jesus,
who do you say that I am?

Speaker 1 (15:55):
That I am?

Speaker 2 (15:55):
Peter spoke up and said, thou art the Christ, the
son of the Living God. And you know what Jesus
said Peter Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you.
You don't get the revelation of who Jesus is. No
man can say. The Bible says that Jesus is Lord.
Except by the Holy Ghost. No one can come except

(16:15):
the Lord, the spirit of God. The Holy Ghost draws them. However,
ladies and gentlemen, there is no confusion. There is no
ambiguity about the statements that are made in scripture. Again,
Jesus himself spoke plainly, and he stated in no uncertain terms.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
That he is the Way, He is the Truth.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
He is the Life, he is the Light, he is
the Door, he is the good Shepherd, he is the Messiah,
he is thee I am. He is the one who
forgives sins. He is the fulfillment of the prophecies of

(17:08):
the scriptures of old. And Jesus went on to say, also,
if you do not believe that I am He, you
will die in your sins.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Now again, for those who are.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Still not yet clear in your minds, understand if you
will that there is absolutely no other way, no other help,
no other hope, no other option, no other appeal, no

(17:51):
other avenue, no other rescuer, no other recourse, no other approach,
no other atonement, no other intercessor, no other mediator. I
could go on and on and on the Bible, the
word of God, Jesus himself, the scriptures of old crystal

(18:13):
clear that Jesus is our one and only way to
be saved. That's why Peter stated it so clearly, Acts four,
Chapter twelve, Acts Chapter four, brother Verse twelve. Neither is

(18:36):
their salvation in any other For there is none other
name under Heaven given among men whereby.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
We must be saved. Now let me close with this.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
God was in no way obligated to provide even one
way for man to be saved from his rebellion against
his creator. But God, being the loving Father that he is,
God being the gracious God that he is, God being

(19:15):
the forgiving and compassionate source of mercy that he is,
of his own kindness towards us, he provided one way.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
For all men to be saved.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
And that one way was, is, and will forever be
Jesus Christ alone.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
There is salvation in none other.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
Lord, Open eyes, ears, hearts, Speak as only you can
to the hearts of those who are yet in unbelief,
that they may come to know that you are the
True and the Living God, the only way of salvation.
Be glorified, be magnified in Jesus' name. We pray, give thanks, Amen,

(20:16):
and a man
