Welcome to the Eric Thompson Show. Passionate conservative fighting to
preserve our constitutional rights.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
In this present crisis. Government is not the solution to
our problem. Government is the problem.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
A Marine Corps veteran and family man whose life's creed
is faith, family, and country, join Eric today as he
covers current events from a conservative worldview. Now here's your host,
Eric Thompson.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Hi, welcome to the Erk Thompson Show. Thank you so
much for joining me. I'm out here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Hope you guys are having a great day. On today's podcast,
we're going to be looking at some of.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
The noise.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
There's a few stories that are obviously dominating, dominating social media,
dominating talk radio. Thanks again for listening. Please let me
favorite share this podcast, and if you could give us
a like and subscribe that I'll help us move up
in the search. What's going on in our country is
(01:11):
that President Trump is unlike any other politician, and thus
he's causing a lot of problems for even those who
are the rhinos or those who who claim to be
(01:32):
conservatives at least Republicans, but they're really not.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
They're just in districts that.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
It's a little more beneficial to run as they are
instead of a d and since President Trump continues because
I believe if Stephen Miller and the staff he has.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Of hitting over here over here.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Challenging this bumpstock laws and getting the DJ over here,
and Pam Bondi's ending up being a hero, and Marco
Rubio's up being a hero, and Tulca Gabbard and they
weren't ready for an organized, aggressive team that each took
their own playbook and went to work, and President Trump
(02:14):
just keeps hitting them now. As American citizens, the problem,
I think is that we can get drawn into this
circus of district Doudge just a drudge national in junction
Supreme Court, and it's becoming almost now where unless it's
(02:38):
totally like absurd in the ruling, you know, absurdly obvious,
these district court rulings will end up at the Supreme
Court and the Roberts Court. I think it's shocking a
lot of people. They are lockstep sixty three, six three, six, three,
(03:00):
and fifteen decisions in a row, as they collectively have
decided in their reading of the Constitution that the executive
has a lot of authority, the Congress, the federal government
has plenary powers over immigration issues, to the point that
(03:23):
they're probably going to take up the birthright citizenship.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Case. Last month they ruled using this.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
The challenges to the President Trump's executive order concerning the
ending of birthright citizenship for non citizens. Instead, they use
it to say that national injunctions by federal judges are
overreach and not within the purview of the Constitution. But
(03:58):
now Federal de Nights Circuit Quarter of Appeals since in
San Francisco, said well, no, it's an obvious reading the
Fourteenth Amendment. So this idea of stopping people in the
country illegally from having children who then become citizens, even
though the fourteenth Amendment was written to ensure that former
(04:20):
slaves their children born in the United States would be citizens,
even though they had just left slavery. The Supreme Court
is going to probably hear that case, which is a
masterful way that I believe the Trump team moved quickly
(04:43):
to get that issue in front of the court, which
for decades nobody dared to do. Right now, the tarriffs
are making bring in in record revenue is pretty much stalled.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
The Fed won't lower interest rates, with which if they did.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
If they dropped the right down two percent over six
months or eight or nine months, there obviously would be
a housing boom. But what we the people have done,
we've been drawn into arguments now between Epstein. President Trump
(05:29):
says there's nothing there, but Massew, one of President Trump's
and antagonists really in the Congress, is just able to
get a subpoena over approved by the Department of Justice
to go and interview Epstein's number two, Lady Maxwell. So
(05:53):
President Trump wants it to go away, but the Wall
Street Journal and these leftist organizations are say it's only
because Pam Bondi said that President Trump's name appears in
the depositions. Bondi comes out saying, well, no, I was
saying there's a lot of unvetted and unverified people and
(06:14):
comments in some of them, including President Trump and other
people whose names are tossed around. So now we're kind
of having like, Okay, a pro Musk, anti Musk, pro Epstein,
search I trust a president.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Let's move on.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
And I think this is why I get so frustrated
when trying to write political articles and do podcasts specifically
about politics, because we the people.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Have lives to live.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Fox News and all these organizations, And yes, I'm taking
up fifteen minutes of your time, but I'm hoping to
be productive and get you back to life, liberty, happiness,
making them much of this day, making much of God
to a culture that needs it, a lot of the
(07:18):
industries they make their money off of keeping you worried about.
House Intel Chair accuses Obama of leading the greatest perpetiation
of fraud and history. Okay, well, if you listen to
(07:40):
the experts, the House Intel Chair can say that.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Obama did it well.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
The Supreme Court his rules since President Trump's been in office,
that he has a lot of authority as the president,
and he's really immune from persecution, from prosecution. He has
this like community, this kind of plenary, which means this
(08:11):
kind of supreme immunity, which why he even which goes
along with the pardon power. So yes, the House Intel
Chair accuses Obama of leading the greatest perpetuation of fraud
in history.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
We know that.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
I don't think following the declassification of hundreds of documents
by Director of National Intelligence Toulci Gabbard early on Wednesday,
I don't think there's any doubt. We now also see
that Hillary Clinton's health was a big concern in the documents.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
So now we know it.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
So it's kind of like, okay, verified, It's like the
Wizard of Oz. You watched the whole movie and the
curtain don't move that, don't look behind that curtain, and
well we knew somebody who was it? Who was Pabi Obama?
Kurtain pulled back. It was Barack Obama saying do not
put out the daily intelligence briefing, saying Russia had knowe
(09:14):
his ability to influence the twenty sixty election.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Put that one in the trash.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
File, even though everybody agrees and intelligence we're going to
create a new narrative using a fake dossier in the media.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
So we all know it.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
But what would Barack Obama say if they tried to
bring charges.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
I have immunity. I'm the president.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
I had information that I was given to me, and
I was following up and that's why I was making
the decisions, and you cannot hold me accountable.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
So if we if we are conservatives like I am, and.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
We know there's that, the how how the left is
going to use I mean, a clapper.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Looks like he went and he's lawyered up already. Okay.
So he's like, all right, all right, I know, I
know I'm.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Gonna have to probably be I'm going to be asked
to do depositions and everything else. So James Clapper told
CNN's Caitlin Collins, he's already lawyered up. They're getting ready
for some of the noise. The Wall Street Journal is
really kind of going after President Tron Trump on this
(10:42):
Epstein files. They're saying that BONDI told Trump he's in them.
The DOJ responded, No, we did not say that President
Trump was accused in it. It was saying that they
were unsubstantiated, and there were there were people making comments
in President Trump was mentioned. So what do we do?
(11:06):
Do we worry about Zelenski over in Ukraine people turning
on him now that he basically has lost all of
his influence. Do we wait to see the if Bill
and Hillary Clinton and Komy and Barr and Garland and
Holder and Mueller, if they're going to take the fifth
(11:27):
are they going to even respond to the subpoena that
came from the House Oversight Committee concerning Epstein? What I
think would be better use of time, is it we
the people would here, understand the stories you've got, writing
(11:50):
some articles over at the website, et talkshow dot com,
et talkshow dot com. Next week I'm gonna start video,
so I'll be going hopefully next week or the following
week take on spreely TV and Roku and Apple. Because
I want to get your feedback, you can email me
at eric at ettalkshow dot com eric at et talkshow
(12:12):
dot com and say, well, I think it's important to
discuss Well, then let's discuss what's known, and then let's
trust the people that we voted for. If they are
doing the things we want to go do what they
need to do. And then we need to make sure
that we have relationships or we understand or know our
local and state representatives.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
And then.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
We take our kids to the park, we go out
on date nights with their wife or husband. We you know,
we we get involved in local politics. If you feel
led to, you go, You go to work, you do
a good job, you tell people to you know, hang
in there, you encourage people, you go to church, you
honor God through prayer and service, and that's living that
(13:03):
that your life is a vapor. So we're going to
be doing more and more. Now that I've got the
office set up over here in Tulsa is we I
want to have guests on. But we're going to be
talking about what's happening, what's known, what's probably going to
happen in the near future, and then we're going to
(13:25):
encourage you through guests that deals with PTSD, the deals
with marital issues or or addiction issues whatever. So you,
if you or family members. I have a website called
Finishthrace dot com. It's a Christian news site, but we
need people of faith to be involved, to be light
(13:47):
in their local dark communities, and we need to pray
for and support our president are down to our local
city count that they would do what is right, and
I believe what is right in the Lord's eyes is
(14:07):
that they would do justly. They would treat people equally,
and whatever the laws are that have been placed, unless
they're going to be overturned, they need to be enforced.
And that's how a constitutional public works. We vote for
our representatives, they go to Congress to pass laws in
(14:31):
light of the Constitution. We pursue life, liberty, happiness, the
pursuit of property so we can have assets and pass
them on to our generations, and as we get older,
then we need to pass wisdom on to the youth.
We need to understand how technology is affecting our lives.
(14:53):
But live when you spend time with me on a
podcast or on the videos, and your share, sharing your
thoughts if you feel led to. When we're done together,
make a difference each day, and then when you get older,
you can say, you know what that was't that was
(15:13):
interesting to see how everything played out, Like when I
look back at Reagan's years, But I don't I'm not
one of these people, goes oh Reagan, Reagan. Reagan, Reagan
didn't have a perfect presidency. But my life has to
be forward thinking that you know, forgetting the things that
are behind. I want to learn. Wisdom is learning from
(15:34):
your mistakes and and the Bible says that that these
things are written so that we can learn, but live
in a manner that makes a difference and draws people
to who's in us. Greater is he who's in the
world than the Holy Spirit that is in us. We
(15:58):
are mabassadors of God if you're a believer in Jesus Christ,
and we're to help people in truth. Stalking to my
friend yesterday. It really comes down to the Er Thompson Show.
What is it all about?
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Truth?
Speaker 3 (16:17):
Not my.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Subjective thoughts. Truth.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Is it better for people to be working than to
be on welfare. Yes, that's a truth. Well know, because
it's not fair the wages they get. Well, no, see,
now you're getting into Samantha, you're getting into this subjective. Well,
I'm a Communist or a Marxist, and I think everybody
should get this wage. Well, who who can? You cannot
(16:48):
determine a minimum wage for full time workers that work
in industries that have lower margins like fast food restaurants
or Walmart or different places. Minimum wage was put in
place to ensure which I'm not a fan of minimum wages.
(17:10):
I don't believe in minimum wage. I think it's kind
of absurd the government would tell an individual, an entrepreneur,
or a corporation, you must pay regardless of the output
of the employee, you must pay this minimum wage. But
(17:33):
it is in place and it's accepted by most people.
But we want to encourage people to go to dream
way past a minimum wage if they have talents resources.
If they don't, they can we can help them get
up to speed on AI and how to make money
with AI and how to use it in your current
(17:55):
industry to tell people not get blindsided to where they
get a in the office or an email for corporate
saying we no longer need your services.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
Now, what.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
That is living living is not watching Fox News all
day with the same stories, worrying if how President Trump
is going, if you're concerned about it, how he's going
to navigate the Epstein noise, as there's people on the
(18:29):
right that are now really focused on going after Barack Obama.
But like I said, I think there's wiggle room in
there that he can hide behind. Now this Supreme Court ruling,
yes they can go after Comy and Clapper, so they
may get them. But see what happens is if, like ghisling,
(18:53):
Maxwell reportedly is preparing new evidence ahead of the FED meeting.
So you're going to have this story Lingron while they're
pursuing those who should go to jail. But we can
(19:13):
get that information and go back to living. Because if
you get so focused on these stories, and let's say
in the end, yes Barack Obama and them did it,
but there's no charges because no court or jury would
convict them. What do you do then, how much more
(19:35):
obvious is it that the wizard behind the curtain was
Barack Obama if he gets away with it? While the
Epstein drama continues to grow, see what I mean? Then
we have the midterms coming up? Do we shouldn't we
(19:57):
really be focused on the midterms winning more seats in
the House and getting bigger majority in the Senate. Shouldn't
we be focusing on that instead of Epstein?
Speaker 2 (20:11):
Is what's more.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
Important that your state would have all Republican representatives that
are conservative? Or did you understand the newest page, the
newest story in the saga of Epstein? I think having
representatives that actually will ensure that you can live.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
And pursue liberty.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
So I hope we wake up and we just don't
sit here and go back and forth on these things
and get divisive and go talk show to talk show.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
But that's my thoughts here.
Speaker 3 (20:51):

They said, put him on zinc. Then we heard about
President Trump then mentioning ivermectin, hydrocorquin doxycycling dexamethasone doctor z
