(00:43):
my friend.
Speaker 4 (00:44):
It is indeed a great afternoon of his beautiful outside
to the tune of sixty eight seventy degrees so exciting.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Holy sweet Jesus, got it there. It's beautiful that.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
You know what, even though watching the Masters yesterday the
whole weekend, we'll get into that, I wasn't encouraged to
go usually, you know, you watch, I gotta get outside,
like I'm ready, I need to go outside.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
I gotta get to the driving room.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
Keep out there and play some feeling but because of
the weather being kind of like cold, little iffy, not
necessarily really, I don't know what it was, but today
like the bug hitting because as soon as we get
off work, I'm going to Carls Golf the atmosphere, Ma,
you might as well say hello, because you know I'm
about to go off talking about the Masters and what
(01:26):
this weekend was for me. So hello, Tom.
Speaker 5 (01:29):
Hey, fellas a beautiful day out. You know, it was
a nice weekend. You know, I got outside. It's unfortunately
spring cleaning time around the mass Away house. Get the
garage ready, get the outdoors ready, plant some stuff with
my wife, and now I gotta get people over to
look up the gutters and all of that kind of
crap that's broken. It's tough to be a homeowner when
(01:50):
you can't do anything for yourself. And that's me is me,
even I watched the Masters yesterday at least uh from
I'd say that from from a whole four pretty much.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Through the did you did?
Speaker 4 (02:02):
You enjoy it?
Speaker 3 (02:03):
I did?
Speaker 6 (02:03):
But it's just so long, But.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
You know what you started with, I did, so I'm
cool with that. It is a long event, though.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
I just to pick up anything. I can't do anything
around the house either, mas, so don't feel discluded there.
I'm in that party.
Speaker 7 (02:20):
It is.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
No doubt. I just want to say, coming up today
top of our number two, we're gonna have Scott Bischoff,
our NFL draft guru. Really, he is a scout and
he has been through thousands of hours of tape. I'd
probably say staff writer for the Football Guys Lions podcast,
NFL scout. He is Scott Bischoff. He joins us.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Coming up top of our number two, we will get
into the Pistons. What a turnaround for them. My goodness, guys,
We're gonna have a playoff game at l c A
for the first time in that building's history. We'll talk
about that, but we will start Braylan with the Masters.
Rory has completed the Grand Slam. He becomes just the
sixth golfer all time to have the career Grand Slam.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
This is an amazing Masters. You know, wall to wall
watched it Thursday to Sunday. Watched overtime extra rounds with
my father, brother in law, mom, dad.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
It was great.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
It was everything that you want out of golf. My
favorite Masters ever. Nineteen ninety seven, Tiger wins his first one.
You know what, it is my second favorite Masters ever.
Tiger wins twenty nineteen. This last one, this Masters this
weekend is not my third favorite. I think it had
everything that you wanted. I believe that Rory McElroy, at
least in my opinion and my generation, has been the
(03:40):
most consistent golfer since Tiger Woods. And finally he closes
with the Green Jackets. Ryan, you're the sucker for the storyline.
Now you're the one that's looking for the storyline, and
it was a great storyline.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Go ahead ahead, just to get there. Yeah, ahead, because
I was watching this yesterday and I am not a
Rory fan. I just something about him rubs me the
wrong way.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
He didn't talk to d Chambeau the whole round. Yeah,
he hates the live guy, didn't talk to.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Right, which is fine. I think that part of it
is good for the game. When you have a little
bit of a rivalry, you have some butting of the heads.
Speaker 6 (04:18):
Rory was in.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Everything you said is accurate. I'm he just doesn't do
it for me. He does not draw me in. Now.
I am not a golf fan. I am a Tiger
Woods fan. So the first Masters my favorite moment, the
Tiger Wood's last Masters win my second favorite moment, and
(04:43):
and throw Lefty in when Phil finally won. That's probably
my top three. So to me, golf fans will watch
all the time, but who is bringing in the outsider?
Who is bringing in the casual sports fan? Was that
just the Masters yesterday that the casual sports fan was watching?
(05:05):
Or does Rory do it now? It is a terribly
unpopular opinion, but Rory McElroy to me, does not do
it for me. But I at the same time completely
appreciated the accomplishment. I love seeing the emotion afterwards. It
just both things can be true. I was happy for him,
(05:26):
I was happy that he got that moment, But he
just doesn't draw me in. He just doesn't draw me in.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
I understood. But you have golfers for that, and that's
what Bryson D. Schambeau was for. He brings the crowd in.
And if you check, I got this from Colin cole Hurd,
So if you check the pulse of the crowd, they
were for they were for Rory early. Excuse me, they
for Bryson D. Shambo early early on. Remember when he
took the league. Remember he's charging. Now he's going up.
Rory's falling apart. But once Rory regained the league, Bryson
(05:54):
start to fall apart. Justin Roll starts to fall apart.
Connor starts to fall apart. Everybody cheered for so you
can check the post of the crowd and know what
the move is and what the movie is, and the
movie is everybody favorite Rory like winning it the way
he did, and the way he won it is the
only way Rory could have won it. Rory is known
for what the Rory fade on Sunday Show. Well, the
(06:16):
nice way to say it is the fab but yes,
the choke. Rory's been at this thing seventeen times. I
mean top five finishes he has. But how many moments
on Sunday where he just let it slip away? And
what did we see in a man corner yet again?
Four bogeys and a man corner four bogeys. He let
it slip away, but the resiliency was there. His best
friend is Tiger? Was Tiger?
Speaker 3 (06:37):
Does this?
Speaker 4 (06:38):
It's Tiger verse Tiger on Sunday yesterday was Rory versus Roy.
He pulled himself back together even at the end, mister
Putt Man, mister Putt, I believe. So that's why I
love the story. And Lord, it's the resilience, like only
Rory McElroy will win with four bogeys in the back
nine on Day Sunday, the most ever, by the way,
by a champion.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
So the story was what it was.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
I loved it, and it was fun.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
It was Brice versus Rory.
Speaker 7 (07:03):
Then it was ro speaking of Tiger.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
You know, I had that commercial of him as a
kid watching the Tiger Masters and that kind of inspired him.
I feel like there's gonna be a lot of kids
who watch this as a kid and that's gonna be
their moment that they're like, you know what, I want
to be Rory. How many guys never do this? How many?
How many times we were waiting for Greg Norman the Shark.
That's the second, that's his third, that's that's his third,
(07:26):
second place finish, second time, two years in a row.
How many times you're waiting for Greg. He'll close it
this year, He'll close this year. The Shark could get
one this year and it just never happened. That's what
we were looking at for Rory mcerwore like seventeen attempts.
Seventeen attempts he's had and he hasn't gotten the jacket,
sometimes not even making a cut. So no one thought
(07:47):
Rory would do it. He did it, So I think
the storyline was great.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Yesterday.
Speaker 5 (07:50):
Took him eleven times to close it. It took Tiger
Woods one time to close it. It took Jack Deckolas
three times to close. And I'm talking about the Career
Grand Slam. Arnold Palmer is not in there.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
Nice Sam Snee is not in there.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
Those guys did not win the Career Grand Slam. So
I take my hat off. You win the four Grand Slams,
You're up there in history forever. And it was great yesterday.
I'm on Twitter the whole time and guys are killing them.
They're calling them a choke cardis Dave Portnoy, And I
wrote in our little group chat, I cannot wait till
those a holes have to kisses, you know what, at
(08:29):
the end of this, because he's gonna win, and he did,
and I wonder if they're gonna I wonder if they're
gonna kiss up to him now, because they were calling
them every name in the book, and he put it
in their face.
Speaker 6 (08:39):
I'm happy for him.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
I love the moment though, I love the emotion. Like
I was talking to pop so right before having I said,
and I'm glad you brought it up. Like I said, Dad,
I said, I need him to yell out of screen.
I said, I just need Rory to let it because
if he doesn't, then it's unauthented. Like if he'd done it,
then it's not real. This isn't genuine. You're talking about
ten years since you won your last major. You're talking
about clothes and not like you said, man, he's only
(09:01):
sixth one. Ever, if this man doesn't jump for joy
or do something, it's unauthentic. And man, he drops his
knees and started crying. First on the green the Alabama
fight they threw that party dropped down. It was really
most not there and it was it was it was.
It was good.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
It was good. It was just like he It felt
like watching that and I I tweeted yesterday they had
a four shot lead through nine and I'm like, I'm
not a golf but if this is boring, right, you
know this is boring four shots and then the next
freaking hole it was like double bogie birdie and it
was one shot it was on.
Speaker 7 (09:41):
That makes no sense.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
That's how that's how it's playing, makes no sense.
Speaker 5 (09:44):
Rose Rose closed like like citation man.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
There's no such thing as luck when you win the Masters,
like I mean, you can's a little luck here and there,
but you have to earn it. You have to win it.
Rory had the perfect day because the guys that were
right beneath him, or that he was fighting with the
started around. That would have been what I write this
down Connors. That would have been Justin Rose Goldberg, who
(10:10):
I tell you he was on when Rory and Oldberg
I got close, and then and then Justin Rose. Anyway,
all those guys bombed at the beginning, so they all
fall back. They all lost four or five strokes. Rory
gained four five so when he collapsed he was already
so far ahead. He basically just outlasted everybody. It happened
perfect like they all dropped four or five and then
(10:32):
Scottie Shepard.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Made a run.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
So just the perfect day for Rory man like they
feel early he fell late.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
Checking in on the chat paper, Chunga says golf is
the first real sport British creator. Golf is for the
smarter crowd. It's not the dumb football fan base. Everyone
posting about Ryan's reaction says everyone posting about Rory made
me think that it was they were talking about the
Lions mascot Rory. A lot of people too. Then for
(10:57):
the eighteenth whole duel, Rory is good, good looking at
good looking Irish TV should have been Bryson, says Michigander H.
Bryson D. Shamba. That would have been probably a little
bit more fun because at least you have kind of
good versus evil Dolph together.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
Dolphin is a one sport where you can't say who
should have won? Right like who should have won as
a person that didn't win because he went and fought
out Justin Rose should have won if that's the case.
Scotti Sheffler should have won. If that's the case, Bryson D.
Chambeau did not play his best golf and a man
corner when he needed to in a cost him.
Speaker 6 (11:31):
Look Pete put up with the champion guests.
Speaker 5 (11:33):
Sure, not only does he make four point two million,
but look at all the other stuff.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
He gets a green and jacket, four point two million,
honorary membership to Augusta National, A gold medal and replica
Masters Trophy, a lifetime invitation of the Masters. Oh, Bernard Longer.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Did you a couple of years back? A locker in
the Champions locker room, access to the members only driving range,
an annualation to the Champions dinner. So that's pretty good
what Rory gets. I have a question. I got a
call bs.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
How is the winner get four point two when the
purse was twenty one and I understand that you share
the purse.
Speaker 6 (12:12):
Second place got two and a half.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
It's not fair.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
Like if I'm Rory, like I think ten million. If
you're making twenty one, I'm ten million. Everybody fight for
the rest.
Speaker 6 (12:22):
That's what horse racing here.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
First of all winning Masters. That's the other thing that
I appreciate about the Masters is it lets novice golfers
know it's okay, but don't think it's all right because
these guys will muck it up too. It is tough
to win it. The Masters off to watch what did
you did you see one green surface that had a
flat surface? Everything was sharp?
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Hilly, I'm sorry, So I was just gonna ask you
about Rory. Okay, Rory, when's the last name? Rory? One?
A major spent eleven years ten eleven years ago. So
it's not like it's not like he's out here dominate. Okay,
it's this was a moment. This was a moment. Where
(13:05):
does the game go from here? Because I'll say, Scotty
Scheffler to me is the best golfer in the world.
To a lot of people, is the best golfer in
the world. It was not even a close second. But
the guy has no personality. He's not drawing me in.
Scotty Scheffler is not drawing me in or anybody else
that doesn't care about golf in. And look, there's never
(13:26):
gonna be another Tiger Woods until Charlie Woods comes along.
He won't be if there will never be another Tiger No,
there will never be a Tiger Woods. But the next
great golf story is Charlie Woods, is it not?
Speaker 6 (13:40):
Hope?
Speaker 4 (13:41):
I disagree about Rory dominating. You don't always have to
win majors like he wins on the tournament, just not
the majors. And for the last years he's always top
five in the FedEx couple. I look at numbers and
the dollars makes sense for Ry mcelrood, and.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
And look you. You could talk circles around about me. No, no, no,
you could talk circles about golf about me. I'm just
talking about that. He doesn't bring you in the game
as a whole.
Speaker 6 (14:06):
Guys want to talk bowling. I can tell you who
won this.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
Right, but who's the hook? But Pete Webber, Pete Webber
will bring you in, you know, personality to bring you in.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
But my only question, my question with Bryson because you
saw him with the high fives and to the next hole.
He brings the people in and I love that because
you need that. It kind of felt like a fun
out and it felt a little not as much as
the waste management, but a little bit like that. Problem
is I think he's too involved with the crowd. Now
this is novice golfer, by the way he's high five
and adapting. I just know as a player, when I'm
(14:36):
giving all my energy to the crowd, when I'm engaging
with the crowd and talking to him like that takes energy,
the energy that I don't have on the field. Because
that's been five minutes talking to the guy about his
high school back in New Jersey somewhere. He seems like
he's really invested in crowd might want to pay attention
to the course.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
A little bit.
Speaker 7 (14:51):
I agree.
Speaker 5 (14:52):
I think that has something to do with his Who
is the golfer that was high fiving and he hit
the guy in the Jordan he I was on purpose?
Speaker 3 (15:00):
I think so. Hell yeah. So for those of you
that don't know Jordan's speak, was walking back from the
driving range, and he had the club and he had
a putter in his hand with the club head close
to his hand, and so.
Speaker 6 (15:17):
The so the chef was loose.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Chef was a little loose, pause it was, and was
shaking hands high five and when he went like this,
the club head hit some guy. He did it right
square in the on purpose private area. Had a question
about it, and it was beyond anything that you I mean,
the guy went down hard.
Speaker 5 (15:39):
Oh god, that was hilarious, and that was on purpose.
He had to have known that guy. That's the way
I'm looking at it. If you could find it, let
me know.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
I'll try last thing I will say about the master's
and I promise I'm done.
Speaker 6 (15:52):
No, you're good man. Enjoy it.
Speaker 7 (15:54):
Man.
Speaker 4 (15:54):
I was watching at home Samsung a k TV.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
How big eighty five? Oh yeah, eighty five.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
They between the A K graphics of Samsung selfless plug,
the masters, the greensman, the grounds keepers. Oh my god,
they do such an amazing job. I was getting so
caught up and just viewing the beauty.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
It's beauty.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
The sky was a color blue I've never seen. They
had great the glad weather, the glass grass was green.
Now granted, I was on you know adult you know
dot candy.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
Man look amazing. Stephen says, heads and chaft talk all right.
Speaker 6 (16:34):
Watch watch tell me that's what I'm talking.
Speaker 7 (16:38):
Yeah, that's.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
So.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
Tommy Ka says, looked one thousand, ten thousand perfect.
Speaker 4 (16:47):
But you see him smile. That's like a run in
the joke.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
But I described that good though.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
That was good.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:56):
Then remember when JT is a playful dude. Remember him
speaking to what was Tiger when they threw the tampon No,
when they were at the Beau and they thought, but
they caught it, and so everybody got mad.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
I speak. He is a perfect example of a guy
that everybody's supposed to be the next time. He was
a comet, right, It's like he rocketed up and then
he it's it just makes you appreciate what Tiger did.
So much because you got guys like Rory, you got
guys like Justin Johnson.
Speaker 6 (17:32):
I'm talking about Johnson was the guy I liked. I
liked him.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Justin Thomas, Justin Thomas, every other one every year there's one.
And that's why I love Scotty Sheffer's game. I think
he is. I know that he's the best golfer now,
but I got to see it like I got to
see it for five years. Stop telling me about the
next Tiger. Was like, just let people play their game
and see where it tastes. Because stuff Tiger did never
be done again. Like Scotty Scheffler, Will had to be
number one for another five years to break the streak
(18:00):
the Tiger did like five years.
Speaker 6 (18:02):
Not the.
Speaker 3 (18:05):
Guys. I want to get to the Tigers now. They
won another series. Uh, they beat the Minnesota Twins over
the weekend two out of three. Minnesota did win yesterday
five to one, but that one was courtesy of another
Torque bomb, his fifth of the year. He is lights
out at the plate so far this season. Spencer Torkosen
(18:25):
guys is clearly the m VP of the Tigers so far.
When it comes to offensive out to them, it isn't
he eleven RBIs betting three to oh nine five home runs,
hit the cover off the ball.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
On Friday night, he hit two foul ball just just
left of the foul pole.
Speaker 6 (18:47):
Back to back.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
Was watching with Jimmy locked in. Man, he is and
the best thing about.
Speaker 6 (18:53):
It is car no, it's no.
Speaker 4 (18:55):
Please, I doesn't say the best thing about it is
it's it's legit, like it's legit.
Speaker 8 (18:59):
This isn't.
Speaker 3 (19:00):
This isn't for show.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
This isn't. He's on the heater right now, is in
slow down. He talked to the media before the season,
talked about the things that he was doing, the preparations
that he was taking, and he felt really good about
this season. And since the season started, we see exactly
what he saw. So I don't think it's the flash fans, man,
I'm excited to see I got I got some some
stats on the player that will let me give you
some Speaking of players that we dissed, I've been dissing
(19:24):
this guy for four years. That's man, that's mad. This
everybody has this, this guy, mister Javere base as Keegan
Michael Keith said talking about five year of bias. This
is his stats for right now, on base percentage. It's
three twenty four. That's the second highest of his career
(19:45):
so far. Right now, ops six ninety six not great,
but the damn sure the five to eleven that he
had last year, six ninety six moving up. Also seven
eight strikeouts. You do the math on that gotta be
eighty eight for the season, way lower than when he's accustomed.
I see all that. To say what, he stepped his
game up. My way too early prediction. Javey Bayas three hundred.
(20:06):
He's two eighty six. The hip looks right and he
feels like he's he's doing He got the RBI yesterday, and.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
It's another reason. Bray in Javier Bias, I'm glad. No, look,
I'm glad you brought him up because Javier Baiaz looks
like a different player than he has been in a
Tigers uniform. Is that because you know the Tigers have
major league talent around him? Now? In no, you just know, No, okay,
(20:32):
let me let me, let me go here. Javier Bayaz
and the way he's playing is a reason why I
fully believe and this is my general basis right now,
the Detroit Tigers will represent the American League in the
World Series. They are tied for the best record in
the American League right now there nine and six. But
I really look at this and say they're nine and three.
(20:54):
They have won nine in the last twelve. The three
games that they lost in LA to the Dodgers at
doesn't count to me. I mean it does at all.
Speaker 6 (21:02):
Three.
Speaker 4 (21:03):
Speaking of that, what about them mas that they still
winning one sixteen?
Speaker 3 (21:06):
This is Let me read this. Let me read this.
Going back to August eleven, Tiger's pr put this out.
The Tigers are forty and eighteen.
Speaker 6 (21:15):
It is nineteen.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
It is the best fifty eight game stretch in Tigers
baseball since twenty eleven, twenty twelve. That is remarkable what
this team has done. And you go through and you
look at the American League and you tell me who's
better than them? They absolutely if healthy, And what's the
(21:38):
the Jackson Jobe I always want to I want to
call it Jason horrific. Jackson Job has the best stuff
on the team. I know, Spencer tra what's his name
is Schoobl's going tonight Schoolbl's fantastic, But as far as
stuff goes, Jackson Job has the best stuff on the Tigers.
Pitching staff, and that's what your face pitcher.
Speaker 6 (22:00):
Amazing, amazing. I love this team.
Speaker 5 (22:04):
Yeah, they're shorthanded still, but they play together like nobody's business.
Speaker 6 (22:08):
And they don't give up.
Speaker 5 (22:10):
We tell you they play all twenty seven outs, and
they do. And their pitching staff is terrific. And you
got Jason Foley, who was their closer last year. He's
in Toledo, lights out down there. It's only a matter
of time before he's back here, and then who has
to go down. Everyone is pitching up to their potential,
(22:30):
and everyone is hitting over their potential right now. And
they don't even have Parker Meadows out in the outfield.
When he's in center field, this team will even be better.
I'm telling you, Zach McKinstry this year, I don't know
what the hell happened to him, but it's like something
took over Zach McKinstry. He has become one of the
best utility players in baseball.
Speaker 6 (22:51):
And you have two terrific catchers.
Speaker 5 (22:53):
Jake Rodgers a little injured right now, but I love
him behind the dish and he'll hit your twenty home runs.
And Dylan Is he's the real deal man. They have
a lot of talents on this team a lot. And
aj Hinch he's just sitting there, pushes the buttons. I
think he over manages a little. I think he goes
to the bull ped a little early. But who the
(23:14):
hell am I that to tell you? They're playing great baseball.
Keep it going, guys. I can't wait till they come
home next week.
Speaker 4 (23:20):
But Kinse, you heard you guys talking stuff in the offseason.
Now he wanted to make sure he proved you guys wrong.
I'm glad you left l finished with aj Hinch somewhere
along the way. Because of how the Astros won that
World Series, people forgot, of course, that aj Hinch was
a great skipper. They forgot that he was very knowledgeble.
They forgot that he can get the most out of
(23:40):
his players. And I think we saw that last year
and the season that led to the playoffs, that led
to a win in the first round. So the players,
they're going back to that energy. I think he instilled
something in them at that moment.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Man.
Speaker 4 (23:53):
And you see the players they have confidence in any moment,
no matter if it's to ninth Like you said, they're
all twenty seven hours. They don't matter it's the ninth
they still have the faith that they can do that
they can deliver on the things that they work on
whenever they have at time. So aj Hunt is a
valuable skipper in this league.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
Through fifteen games. And it looks small sample size, I know.
But do you feel better, worse or the same about
this ball club that you did going into the season,
Because for me, I thought they'd be good. I think
(24:29):
they're borderline ninety ninety five wins now that's that is
eight more wins I thought they'd have. Yeah, it's pretty
darn good. Look, hey, look, I thought they Let me
say this. My expectation is that the Detroit Tigers are
(24:50):
in the World Series. That is where I'm starting my
expectations for the Tigers this year. I think they're that
good and I think their pitching staff is better than
anybody that any other American League team can throw out there,
facts period, facts.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
Yeah, I'm definitely better as well. I don't know about
the World Series, but why not. You know, I definitely
see them go but I definitely see them going far
in the playoffs. I definitely see them getting too on
the Alcs. Like you said, Ryan, this team is much
better I thought they were. But They're still not complete.
They're still not you know, they haven't fallmed fully like Boltron.
They still have carpetar I mean, excuse me, not cars.
(25:28):
Parker Metal is out. He still haven't necessarily This is
exactly what we are. But I know that they're gonna
do better than I thought they would. I thought that
they would be the wildcard team.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
That's what I picked.
Speaker 4 (25:36):
I see a wildcard that would be the seventh team
in Uh excuse me, boy, was I wrong? Yeah, boys
are wrong. So they're a lot better I believe than
I think, because I think they can easily win two
rounds in the playoffs.
Speaker 5 (25:46):
I thought last year out of the playoffs they'd be
like an eighty five win team. In the beginning of
the year, when Parker Metals went down, Veal Ling went down,
they lost a couple of other guys. I said, man,
there's no one playing their position. This is the worst
feel I've ever seen. I mean, I went crazy. I apologize.
They're close to a ninety win team right now, and
(26:09):
wait till they get the guys back, And wait till
guy like Kevin mcgonkall comes up from double A to
triple A to here he is gonna be your shortstop
or third basement. Matt Vierling is coming back in another week.
I know he's not a superstar, but he's a pretty
good hitter and he could play two three positions for you.
Torque changed the game for them because he is now
(26:31):
your first basement. You can't play around with cold Keith
over there. So you have Glabor Torres at second. What's
he gonna do him and Cold Keith in and out.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
I don't know what.
Speaker 6 (26:42):
They're gonna do with cold Keith. Col Keith is in
a little trouble here, I think.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (26:48):
I don't know, because when everyone comes to Bait, I
don't know. They're good to pull a deal at mid
season for something.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
What's that I know, Mas?
Speaker 4 (26:58):
What was that number that you had in terms of
how many games they won where they're forty eight and eighteen.
Speaker 6 (27:02):
Is a yeah, eighteen almost forty and twenty almost.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
That's who they are.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
Yeah, Like forty and eighteen is letting you know that
weird team that contends. Weird team that has the best
pitching staff, like you said in al and we win
games like we have one of the best skippers in
the game, like as an athlete. Forty and eighteen is
business like, I don't care anything about what the infield
looks like or who's not what or cold Keith forty
and eighteen. Lets you know that your team is for
(27:30):
real and it's only fifteen games to the season.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
So Tiger's gotta be happy.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
Nine and five. You just wanted to contend until guys
got back, not be in first place.
Speaker 6 (27:39):
What's the record right now?
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Right? Nine and six?
Speaker 7 (27:42):
Three?
Speaker 3 (27:42):
So they started zering three They won nine of the
last the.
Speaker 6 (27:44):
Best Tiger start obviously eighty four.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
Yeah, what they thirty five and five?
Speaker 6 (27:49):
Thirty five and five? What do they tell you after
forty games? You are who you are? Yeah, let's let's
wait a couple of weeks.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
Sure, there's no let's see, there's no doubt they had
not win.
Speaker 6 (27:58):
They might not win thirty five, but they might win twenty.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Eight or thirty. Yeah, just like the Lions. We're gonna
make to the Super Bowl, right, Ryan U crazy Cloud says,
it's amazing. Right, Oh boy, we got over the top.
Ryan again, you're gonna lose seven to ten. It'll be
doom and gloom again. Maybe you never know if they
do lose seven to ten. I'll do that. Whoa World Series?
Slow year role? Ryan, Let's just clinch the playoffs first brother,
(28:22):
send Ken to Maeda down, says May's dawn. A week ago,
all you Tigers fans were crying. We were Wait, Michigan
are twelve twelve? Like I said on Big d Energy,
Let's take a chill pill for a second. What what
can I just ask one?
Speaker 7 (28:38):
Sorry?
Speaker 4 (28:38):
Yeah, no, go ahead.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
Why do you, as a fan have to take any
chill pill? Ever? You don't get paid with anything. You
are not the general manager, You are not the coach.
You are not the manager. You are not the player.
You don't need to stay even keel for anything.
Speaker 4 (28:56):
You also penas at the stadium.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
You can be as emotional only up and as emotionally
down as you desire. You are a fan.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
Me.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
The reason why I do this job is because I
am a fan.
Speaker 6 (29:11):
I want to have fun.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
This is about fun. This isn't real life, right, You're crazy?
Oh you really should take a chill pillar. Not enjoy
the game. Wait, wait for the result. Wait for the
results of the game, and then you can go from there.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
Who said just like you said about the.
Speaker 3 (29:29):
Lions it hips? Who just donated ten dollars. Love the show, guys,
but please don't say you expect the Tigers to make
the World Series. Were the same old song and dance
when you expected the Lions to make the Super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (29:45):
Now, I'm glad you read the whole thing because he
actually seems like a nice person to appreciate the dollars.
Respect I respectfully want to know why is it okay
to use the injuries when.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
You want to?
Speaker 4 (29:55):
Man, we want to went to Super Bowl for one
for the injuries man, the Lions the season, it was
just the end. Oh when the meek Rominson got oh
his injuries. But when Ryan made it Eatons.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
Who fired a good point. I don't know why people
waste their time if they don't enjoy this. Seriously, if
you aren't having any fun, oh, if you aren't being
emotionally invested, why watch the games?
Speaker 6 (30:19):
I watch every game like it's the last game.
Speaker 5 (30:22):
Like yesterday, I was like, come on, man, don't you
got the senor they're putting guys on base, They couldn't
get guys home. I was pissed when they lost yesterday.
They had a chance to win that game. That's how
I watch every baseball game.
Speaker 4 (30:34):
We just had we just had a bunch of We've
had franchises that have been bad for years, and you're
used to the Pistons being bad. You're used to the
Tigers in this particular slump being bad. You used to
so now when you get a team that's just a
little bit good, you started getting nervous. Don't jinx it,
don't jinxy. We gotta wait and see because you've had
to wait and see for the past thirty years for
(30:54):
your four franchises. Now with the line, you don't have
to wait and see. So to Madge and Ryan, relax
a little bit, enjoy a little bit. Last time, I said,
the Tigers won a playoff series last year, and.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
Great.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
I don't know if you've been playing.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
Yeah, I mean, first of all, guys, it's not like
this baseball team is a fourth place team. That's where
they're expected to be this year. They were an inning
away or two innings away from being in the American
League Championship Series last year, So why wouldn't the next
(31:29):
year natural progression being to get to the World Series.
They should have beaten the Cleveland Indians and been in
the World Series. What is the like?
Speaker 4 (31:41):
Also, didn't Brown Home sales, super Bowl, the bus before
the season started, and expectations, so their expectations of that,
then that's what.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
And also too for all the people that say that
the Lions, the old reason the Lions missed the Super
Bowl was because of the injuries. Like you said, Ray,
they would have been the super Bowl if it wasn't
for the injuries. So just taking your words for it.
The definitely fun. Enjoy, enjoy yourself, fun, enjoy your.
Speaker 5 (32:08):
Swinson, I and A playing the Brewers schoobl goes on
the hill. Brewers lost a heartbreaker yesterday. Let's hope they're
still down and out.

fitness for your fitness is.
Speaker 3 (35:39):
Dante one five to one five bucks. In the super Chat,
here's something insane. Spencer torcal Center's only six home runs
away from beating what he did all of last year,
had only ten home runs in twenty twenty four, and
that something up and down, up and remarkable. Speaking of
up and down, there were so many downs for the
Detroit Pistons over the world last several seasons and now
(36:05):
what a season. Mas you pegged at early you said
you love this team. First couple of weeks of the team,
they had a thirty win improvement. They're the first team
to triple their win total from the year prior fourteen
and sixty eight last year forty four and thirty eight.
This year, it is just the second winning season they've
(36:26):
had in eighteen years. It's there's so much credit that
goes around, but I think you do have to start
with Tom Gors the owner. Not every owner would have
eaten eighty million bucks, That's just a fact. And to
(36:50):
bring in a guy like Trajan Langdon, who in turn
brings in JB. Bickerstaff, is a cultural shift that this
organization not only needed, but was desperate for. It was necessary,
and they were the right guys everything. Langdon did every signing.
(37:13):
And I'll be the first to admit when I heard
Tobias Harris was on the short list of being one
of the Pistons targets, I was like, didn't we already
do that? Do we already try that? Once? Tobias Harris
has been fantastic. Oh yeah, Tim Hardaway has been fantastic.
And then obviously Malik Beasley has been the signing that
(37:35):
I'm not sure anybody really thought he would be as
good as he was as important as he was to
this team. And then last but not least, and then
it's probably should be the first, second, and third thing
that I mentioned. Cad Cunningham went from being just another
number one pick to literally being one of the best
(37:58):
players in the league. Yeah, v type player and he
gets all the credit in the world for that.
Speaker 5 (38:02):
Do you hear what Kendrick Perkins said over the weekend
that he's putting them on his old NBA team first
team and he's like, this year it's SGA's MVP. Next
year it's Kate cunninghams no disrespect.
Speaker 4 (38:16):
I'm not gonna lead with the billionaire that made a
billion on the losing team for fixing the problem that
he created and he fixed it, but I'm not leading
with that. I'm gonna leave with Kay Cunningham and said
everything that you said, having the coach at JB. Bickerstaff
like he's a loud k They bought the right players.
Players that you bought. You bought vets in that knew
how to play this game. You bought a shooter and
Malie Besy. You bought an older veteran that knows how
(38:38):
to score, but knows how to slow the pace of
the game down in Tobias Harris to help cave in
a lot of those situations.
Speaker 3 (38:44):
Man JB. Bickerstaff and his staff.
Speaker 4 (38:46):
Remember when I came here and told you I had
just ran into Jared Jack at lunch at the beginning
of the season, and he said, I love these boys.
I was like boys, he was, I guess, I guess
we are twenty five years older. Said they play for
each other, they love one Another's hang out together and
watch film togethers. And I'm listening, and you know who
I'm thinking about. Think about Detroit Lyons.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
You see that.
Speaker 4 (39:07):
They love each other. It starts there. So now once
you vibe, now you get a coach kind of rough
you up, show you what you guys are gonna do,
get you to buy in to something. Man, you're on
your way. And then you get your number one overall
draft pick that you talked about that we question was
he worth? The number one pick should have been Jalen Green?
What's going to are we trading him? And now you see,
with the right coach, with health, with size, because he's
(39:30):
grown much like Giannis did when he really took his step.
Now he can play the game at his own speed
and he's got guys on his shoulder, much like Luke
and Jokic. So this has been a fun season to watch.
The very first game the Dallas Mavericks, I was hooked.
The energy of the LCA is exciting. Good question for later,
say that.
Speaker 5 (39:49):
Cade's the first superstar here, and he is a superstar
since Grand Hill. That's how long it's been since the
teal uniforms when I moved here in nineteen ninety three.
This is the first superstar since then. And it's great.
Speaker 6 (40:03):
And I know the back to work Pistons, the four phenomenal.
Speaker 3 (40:07):
Going to work pistons, Going to work pistons.
Speaker 5 (40:09):
This is the back to work Actually, this is what
they named them, back to work pistols. Really, I'll show
you from the pistols. They put it out today. They
named them this is the back to work Pistons. You're
right though, it's it's I love that old four team
loved them. This this kid Cuttingham, but he's a he's
a superstar.
Speaker 3 (40:25):
They were a bunch of ragtag guys and you know Four,
I mean Chauncey Billips couldn't stay on a team. Every
team that had him wanted.
Speaker 6 (40:33):
To ship them off. He's got a new deal. By
the way, Rip.
Speaker 3 (40:35):
Hamilton couldn't play with Michael Jordan. Michael shipped him out.
Speaker 4 (40:39):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (40:39):
Ben Wallace was a throw in with Chucky Atkins. Wow,
you know, I mean, I'm glad you said.
Speaker 4 (40:45):
Since Grant Hill, a lot of people would try to
add in the individual off that team. They're going to
work Pistons.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
They were the All Star.
Speaker 4 (40:51):
Even though all four over made it as they were
a collective of five, they were the All Star. Grant
Hill was the guy, even though the bad Boy Pistons
were cod Zeke is the guy. Kay Cunningham is the
guy for the Detroit Pistons.
Speaker 2 (41:04):
Peak.
Speaker 11 (41:04):
Can I make a if you guys don't mind me
jumping in here. I don't like that slogan back to
work Pistons, did you? I didn't know if you wanted
to call for you, I'll put it up here right now.
I don't like this, and because that's not who they are.
And I guess that that might just be me on
the outside, but I thought that we were going for
(41:25):
the bad boys, and you cannot combine back to work
and the bad Boys.
Speaker 7 (41:31):
Those are two separate entities.
Speaker 11 (41:34):
And I don't see the back to work pistons, shoving
people off the boards, beating the living crap out of people,
like I see what the Piston's.
Speaker 3 (41:41):
Doing, taking the game into their own hands. That's not
back to work.
Speaker 11 (41:45):
How about bad again or something along that lines, because
I back to work just does not do it for me,
as that's not the identity I see.
Speaker 7 (41:53):
On the court.
Speaker 11 (41:54):
I don't see Larry Brown pistons. I see Chuck Daily pistons.
And so that's where I'm going with that.
Speaker 4 (42:02):
I agree with you, Peter, I actually like that. I
think this is just quick, quick answer. They don't want
to lean into that out loud. They don't want to
lean into that oullowd. They don't want it to because
once they do that, here comes the NBA, come out
of silver, Here comes the reps, Here comes the city.
So once you do it that way, soon as you
see oh they're oh they're they're they're back. The bad
(42:22):
boys are back, or so are the reps. They want
to So I think this kind of I agree with you,
but I think it saves them some some eyes, some scrutiny.
Speaker 11 (42:31):
Can I can I push back this real real quick,
just real quick, guys ahead, I don't care.
Speaker 7 (42:35):
My whole point is that.
Speaker 11 (42:38):
You know, I'm just I mean, I don't care because
the NBA, you know, the national media has never liked us,
never since I was a little kid, when I had hair.
They never liked us ever, even in the eighties. So
the heck with all these people, see who you are.
Speaker 3 (42:54):
We are the bad boys. And you can tell the rafts.
I said it, go shove it you nowhere. So the
Pistons earn the sixth seed, they will play the third
seeded next Steven A. Smith is fantastic, and everybody on
ESPN you're talking about talking about how they feel like
this is the upset that the Knicks, while more talented
than they were a year ago, they lost their fastball.
(43:15):
They just lost who they were last year with Stevincenzo.
And I do think that means something when you have
an attitude about who you are and you try to
get a little fancier and you try to upgrade talent.
This is a puzzle and all of them. You can't
have eight corners. You have four corners, and then then
(43:35):
you fix the middle, right, But you get what I'm
trying to say here. These are all puzzle pieces that
you have to fit together, and man, you might be
more talented if you're the NIXT but I absolutely expect
the Pistons to be competitive in this series, to win
a few games, heaven forbid, win the series. That's just
(43:57):
where I'm at on that the question that I want
to ask you, guys, as this only Game one is
out by the way. Game one Saturday, six PM, Games two, three, four, five, six, seven,
TBA TBD as they say, Games three and four and
if necessary, a Game six will be back here at LCA.
(44:19):
But guys, Little Caesars Arena has been open for eight years.
Game three against the Knicks will be the first ever
playoff game at LCA. Ford Field was open for twenty years.
There were no moments at ford Field that blew you
away outside of milestone moments right individual player milestones, most
(44:42):
notably Calvin Johnson. Maybe you know a couple of couple
of game winners late, which was fine, but that building,
Ford Field did not have any character to it until
the playoff games were played there. Two playoff wins a
(45:05):
regular season finale against Minnesota last year. These are moments
in a building's history that fans remember forever. So my
question to you is ford Field went from a place
for twenty years just a place to probably one of
(45:25):
the greatest home field advantages in all of the NFL
when you come to ford Field and it was aided
by those playoff moments. You know where I'm going with this. Yeah,
LCA has been around for eight years. It's been just
a building. It's just a place. It's a place where
the Pistons play. It's a place where the Red Wings play.
(45:45):
There's been no moments in that building. What is the
most the biggest moment Pistons are Red Wings that ever
happened in LCA and eight years go last year to
raise it, good point, Ryan, good point. I'm trying to
get nothing. There's nothing specific you can point. So game three,
(46:12):
the first game, what is this place gonna be like?
What is that building gonna be like? Depends on the
first two games? Will Will Will That's a great point.
Will Detroit basketball fans show up and turn l c
A into the Sacramento building? That is just incredibly hard
to play at the in the playoffs. You don't know
(46:33):
what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (46:33):
That the Palace was pretty hopping, then.
Speaker 4 (46:40):
I think it's gonna be crazy. I think the atmosphere
is gonna be great even regardless of what happens the
first two games. I think Detroit Pistons fans are excited
that the Pistons finally got back to the playoffs. The
Pistons job, or any team's job, is to get to
the playoffs. Then it's the fans jobs from there in
terms of cheering being there, like having their backs, showing up,
being and that's what Detroit does. Detroit's it's so Detroit.
(47:03):
Like you watch the halftime show, you watch intermission, you
watch little interviews, you see everything that you that resonates
with Detroit. That's what they're trying to put at LCA.
So I'm excited. I think the fans, I think they'll
voe with it. Man, you bring them back. This is
Detroit Pistons basketball. Once you get into the playoffs, now
you can start to think about what you've done in
the past and the championships and the trophies.
Speaker 3 (47:23):
It'll be fun for people to actually look up.
Speaker 4 (47:25):
You never look up because it doesn't matter about what
you did in the past because you never make the playoffs.
Now your team's in as a six seeds, so have
some fun.
Speaker 6 (47:31):
It'll be fun.
Speaker 5 (47:32):
To hear Mason's introductions. Yeah, because to me, it wasn't
worth going to the game unless I can get there
for the introductions. But the last couple of years, I
just get there. I'm like, okay, let's just play basketball.
I didn't pay attention really, but it'll be lit because
these crowds have been getting better and better and better.
(47:54):
When I'd go to a game at the beginning of
this year, there was no line to get in. Now
the games towards the end of this year, there's a
line one hundred deep just to walk in, more than
one hundred deep just to walk in the building before
the game, an hour and a half before the game.
And it's a late arriving crowd. Usually not anymore, people
(48:16):
are showing up early. It's a great They put on
a great show, LCA.
Speaker 3 (48:21):
They do.
Speaker 5 (48:22):
Music's great, entertainment's great, and the basketball is great. It's
so much fun to go to a Pistons game again.
It's gonna be so exciting. I cannot wait for game
game three. Please don't put it on Draft Night, please,
because if it sets the way it sets, guess what
(48:44):
next Thursday would be?
Speaker 6 (48:45):
Game three?
Speaker 3 (48:46):
LCA becoming the house Cade built. It's loud. That's burned
two dollars in the Woodward Sports super chat. I will gosh,
I forgot what I was gonna say before I read
Burdon's chat. Durn it.
Speaker 4 (49:02):
What are you gonna dot getting a sucks.
Speaker 6 (49:05):
Man about people that were waiting?
Speaker 3 (49:09):
Yes, there you go, thank you. Listen. You know we've
never seen before that plaza.
Speaker 7 (49:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (49:19):
When Eli was built, they did so with a plaza
out where fans could gather together watch on the big
screen outside for free. Never been used one time like
they did in Toronto.
Speaker 5 (49:35):
Directors Milwaukee, what they call Toronto's Jurassic has never used one.
Speaker 3 (49:44):
We've never had to use it. We never had the
ability to use it. I told my daughters that fun
this weekend.
Speaker 5 (49:50):
I told my daughters that, girls, you understand that this
this place is gonna be packed eventually one of these years.
And they were like, oh my god, that's what You're right, dad,
It's it's gonna.
Speaker 3 (50:01):
Be Mike g The Meyer plaza rarely used.
Speaker 6 (50:06):
But we gotta name it. What should we name the
plaza for the Pistons Pistons the Pistons Pistons Plaza. No,
we gotta name it something like Jurassic Park, have a
good the junk yard Williams. Yeah, it's gotta be something.
Speaker 3 (50:26):
We got the motorcade there you go, let's come up
with a name for our plaza.
Speaker 6 (50:30):
Guys.
Speaker 5 (50:30):
When the Pistons playoff run starts on Saturdayeve.
Speaker 3 (50:35):
Lean sad that the Pistons playoff tickets are cheaper than
the Lions regular season ticket. By the way, I just
looked at Piston's tickets just right now online. I mean
very very cheap. You're talking about play you know, and
we're mind you were just coming off of Lions ticket
fever can get in for like one hundred bucks, you
(50:56):
know what I mean. God bless you, God bless you.
Speaker 6 (50:58):
Nice.
Speaker 3 (50:59):
The horse the Motor City Garage, the parking Park, Thomas
Woodford Gage, Motor City Garage, the horse Pen, Motor City Garage. Well,
you know, obviously gonna have to throw a sponsorship out.
Speaker 4 (51:12):
Yeah, exactly, Huntington Bank Garage, corsponsors do there.
Speaker 3 (51:19):
They have Chevrolet. That's gonna be cure all thought, it's
gonna be hey, go just the Pistons patio. That sounds
too nice, though. You need like something hardcore with motive
like garage. I like the Motor City Garage. I go ahead,
bray you.
Speaker 4 (51:38):
You talked a little bit about the Knicks can't get
back there for no no please. I was heard some
stats the nixt to thirteen and fIF three and fifteen
face and top ten defenses. There are four and fourteen faces.
Teams will winning records in the East or something like that,
like this is a very beatable team, absolutely banged up,
Jayalen Brunson. You still Cats, very inconsistent the playoffs. Tibeau
(52:00):
runs his guys, the dirt intends to show up in
the playoffs. It's gonna be interesting to see what this
Pistons team can do. Like you said, Vincenzo, they had
something special showing over boys.
Speaker 3 (52:10):
They had it.
Speaker 4 (52:11):
It was special, it was great. Michael Bridges another Villanova
gy that works. But then you moved the Vincenzo. You
moved Julius random, which I don't mind. But you bring
in a cat and it's Cat's interesting. So I think
the definitely have a chance. They have a solid chance.
Speaker 3 (52:25):
Much cat.
Speaker 6 (52:32):
R hear your cat?
Speaker 4 (52:35):
You didn't hear your cat, cat because when we played
the next that Thursday, he was flopping and running around
to the rest. Oh my god, why didn't you call that?
Speaker 7 (52:48):
What's going on?
Speaker 3 (52:50):
It was just annoying. Miked up this over the weekend
with Giannis and Kate going back.
Speaker 4 (52:57):
Oh, and then Malik got thrown in there.
Speaker 3 (52:59):
But yeah, Gianna's kept saying some language that he, you know,
Kate was prepared for, and Kate's laughing at the free
Thomne says, I didn't know you talk like that. He laughing.
I didn't know you talk. I didn't know he talked
like that. That was funny. They were talking.
Speaker 5 (53:21):
No, Pete put up the playoff matchups. Oh sure, hang on,
I want to if you win this series, let's just
say you win, so you're the number six seed. Who
would who would last that they're going to play next
Cleveland because they'd be the lowest seed.
Speaker 3 (53:36):
Yeah, well, I I think I don't think they receive,
do they. NBA does not receive.
Speaker 2 (53:42):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (53:43):
It's brackets. NBA is about a bracket. So we'd get
the Caves Cave for sure. Jamie Bickerstaff going against his
former team, how about that?
Speaker 6 (53:54):
And I guess so the winner of the Pacers box
get the Celtics.
Speaker 4 (53:57):
Then hey, look, man, one play off winnesday This is good. Yeah,
it's a starting the right direction.
Speaker 6 (54:05):
Let's go.
Speaker 3 (54:06):
Let me check that real quick. They received or that.
Speaker 5 (54:09):
Yeah, we're gonna play one would play. If one wins,
they play the lowest seed the NBA.
Speaker 3 (54:18):
Does not receive. The bracket is fixed, so the Pistons
will play the winner of one versus eight Cleveland, whoever
they play in the eighth seed.
Speaker 4 (54:28):
It I know Cleveland's gonna take it up a notch
in the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (54:32):
That's what they do.
Speaker 4 (54:32):
That's what the good teams do, Donovan Mitchell. We understand
that they have been playing good ball back. They have
not been playing good basketball down the stretch. They lost
a lot of games down the stretch, so this could
be to catch them at the right time.
Speaker 6 (54:44):
He put that up again, and I want to go.
Speaker 5 (54:46):
Let's go to playing games now, all right, I'm gonna
go to you, because you watch more hoops than us.
Who wins the playoff brackets and talk about it because
in case they're not watching the second break.
Speaker 4 (54:58):
All right, I'll starting to east it to be the
Bulls and the Miami Heat. I'm going with the Bulls.
Kobe White is behind since the start of March, so
that'll be your match. You know what, this is an
interesting one. Trey Young and those boys beat him. The
other night they played Polo Bank, Carrol Orlando. I just
think Paulo is a special player. Give me Orlando in
(55:20):
the West. Give me Memphis over Golden State. I think
Golden State, no way. Wait, let me let me stop,
Let me let me stop.
Speaker 3 (55:29):
Forgive me. You're right, it would be Piston Celtics because
the one one eight gets four five. Next god, so
one gets four five. That's my bad. That's my bad.
All right, So right now, Celtics, Yes, that's worse Celtics
versus the seventh.
Speaker 4 (55:46):
It's gonna be. It's gonna be the Celtics and whoever
in the in the you you think.
Speaker 6 (55:51):
Memphis with a new head coach is gonna beat Golden State.
Speaker 4 (55:54):
They shot their wile, they're banged up, or Jimmy but
just got hurt. If Steph doesn't get fifty like Kaminga's
now getting benched the other day, did not play, you know.
Speaker 3 (56:04):
What that means. That means he was in trouble. Thanks
to everybody in the chat that got me correct on that. Absolutely,
you were right about.
Speaker 4 (56:11):
That Golden State man, like they I'm telling you. They
exhausted what they had. I think they're gonna get washed.
Speaker 6 (56:17):
Who was the other one in the West.
Speaker 4 (56:21):
Hang and then the last one the Kings King's been
playing great basketball.
Speaker 3 (56:27):
They fired their coach, fired their COVID.
Speaker 5 (56:31):
Did you hear about Mike Mullon and Denver when he
got fired, he went down fighting, he ms them all.
I mean he went down fighting when he got fired.
I read that story that was I mean, the guy
just want to you want a championship a year ago.
Speaker 3 (56:49):
I'm feeling himself.
Speaker 4 (56:51):
I don't care about that coach has been fired on
one championship.
Speaker 3 (56:53):
Is not that.
Speaker 4 (56:54):
It's the fact that he's a championship winning coach that
you fired right before the playoffs. It's not like you
fired him before the season starts. It's not like you
fired him in December. You fired a championship coach from
two seasons ago for the playoffs start.
Speaker 5 (57:06):
Button Holes have got fired again today from Phoenix, Matt
is paying.
Speaker 6 (57:12):
Three coaches to not coach.
Speaker 3 (57:13):

I couldnot wait to talk to this guy. One of
my favorite conversations every year it is with the great
(01:00:36):
scottish Off, NFL Scout staff writer for the Football Guys
Lions podcast on X at Bischoff Underscore. Scott, Did I
get that right?
Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:00:51):
Yeah, by buddy? How you doing man, it's been too long.
Speaker 7 (01:00:55):
Good, Good to see all you guys.
Speaker 3 (01:00:59):
Scott. Let me start with this question, big picture view
of this draft. How many first round grades do you
have on players?
Speaker 12 (01:01:12):
Maybe a dozen twelve range. Yeah, it's very dependent on
you know, what your team is looking for or what position.
Speaker 7 (01:01:24):
The D line.
Speaker 12 (01:01:25):
It's kind of loaded at D line, running back, and
tight end, and that's sort of it.
Speaker 7 (01:01:30):
I think you have, you know, big picture.
Speaker 12 (01:01:33):
Wise, you have a few premium players in this draft, Abdubal, Carter,
Travis Hunter, Ashton Janty, and then after that, it's just
a bunch of what do you want?
Speaker 7 (01:01:44):
Right? What kind of players are you looking for?
Speaker 12 (01:01:46):
There's players was up with upside, there's players, there's younger players,
there's older players. I would say that the same player
you're gonna get at say pick fifteen, is very similar
to the kind of player you're gonna get at twenty
eight is going to be pretty similar to the player
that you may get at sixty. So yeah, it's you know,
it's it's it's just it's a it's a strange draft.
(01:02:08):
It's a weird draft class outside of the very very
top of the draft class.
Speaker 7 (01:02:13):
It's just way to put it. It's not it's not
a good class.
Speaker 3 (01:02:18):
And it feels like that to me, and I can't
put a finger on it. If it's because of the
lack of quarterbacks. I mean, last year is like five
quarterbacks where you're just like, Wow, all these guys are
gonna go high. It doesn't feel like the quarterbacks are good.
You tell me if that's accurate or not. Cam Ward
(01:02:40):
any question, he's going number one overall? And he questioned
it all and what what type of player do you
think cam Ward will be?
Speaker 12 (01:02:49):
So I don't think at this point there's a question
he's going number one overall. I think you're right, you know,
there's questions with all of these quarterbacks. I think we
were starting to see a little bit of the seven
on seven offseason stuff that a lot of the a
lot of the skill position players do kind of creep
(01:03:10):
into quarterback play more so than it has in the past.
So if you watch if just the footwork of a
player like cam Word or Shador Sanders or Jackson Dart those,
you know, the guys that are considered the first three,
if you want to call them that in this class,
their footwork is sloppy.
Speaker 7 (01:03:29):
There's there's a lot of work that needs to be done.
Speaker 1 (01:03:34):
You know.
Speaker 12 (01:03:34):
The same could be said for KILEB Williams last year. So,
you know, I don't know if that's a seven on
seventh thing or if it's just something that's kind of
a new thing with with you know, college teams kind
of spread the ball out, throwing it all over the place.
But you're right, the quarterback class is not great, but
there you know, there's a lot of teams in the
NFL that need quarterbacks. So you know there's a scenario
(01:03:56):
where some of these. Obviously we think Ward is going first,
there could be another one in the top ten.
Speaker 7 (01:04:03):
I think Jalen Milroll.
Speaker 12 (01:04:04):
Might surprise people where he may go in this draft.
His often his character is great military family. You know,
if if you're banking on all of the quarterbacks in
this class requiring some sort of progression and uh, you know,
time to develop, he does too. But he also has
(01:04:24):
some athleticism that the others.
Speaker 7 (01:04:25):
Will never have, you know. But yeah, overall, you know,
in a normal class, you you might have.
Speaker 12 (01:04:32):
You know, two or three or maybe more quarterbacks, say
in the top ten, which pushes pushes some players down.
Speaker 7 (01:04:37):
But it's not gonna happen in this draft.
Speaker 12 (01:04:39):
So it's gonna be starting with picked for It's gonna
be a very interesting, uh situation, you know.
Speaker 7 (01:04:45):
On the twenty.
Speaker 3 (01:04:45):
Fourth's Scott Bischoff NFL draft football guys dot Com, go ahead.
I was like you, dealing with your question. I got
a million.
Speaker 4 (01:04:55):
Scott, good to talk to you as well. I'm glad
you said that about the quarterback.
Speaker 7 (01:04:58):
That was good to see you.
Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
I've tried to eloquent that on the show a little bit,
just talking about how bad and you worded it right
so I can steal it now. I watched these kids
practice these bad habits that go to these camps to
go to the skills stuff. You practice bad habits. You're
trying to be cute, trying to be smooth, trying to
be whatever. They take that onto the field and you
can get away with that in college, but once you scout,
see it in the combine, once you get into the league,
(01:05:20):
that stuff doesn't work. I had a baseball coach when
I was twelve years old. I'm trying to swing the
back like I saw another kid swing because it looked cool.
He cuts my butt out and bench me. He said,
this is not what I teach you. So I'm glad
you did say that. But getting to the draft, you
said fifteen to sixty could be the same type of talent.
So as opposed to the Lions moving up where everybody
(01:05:41):
is gonna move up again? Is this Jamiity Gibbs, is
this Jamo?
Speaker 3 (01:05:44):
What if they move back?
Speaker 4 (01:05:45):
What is the value at twenty eight? Maybe get a
couple of second round picks? First question?
Speaker 12 (01:05:51):
You know, so part of the thing that whole in
the last couple months has been the player that might
be available to the Lions at twenty eight might feel
kind of gross when.
Speaker 7 (01:06:03):
We get on draft night, right might it?
Speaker 12 (01:06:07):
Just there there's a bunch of scenarios that you can
run out where you think, you know, no, like you
don't want to spend the twenty eighth pick on a
player who might be a center or you know, a
backup in year one because their window is right now.
So yeah, you know, if you want to trade back
and pick up you know, let's say you go you
(01:06:28):
go back to thirty four to thirty five, you might
get a third rounder to do something like that, a
third rounder and maybe a fifth whatever it is. Yeah,
because because I do think that, you know, it's it's
a little more attractive to make a pick at thirty five,
and the players that might be available might be a
(01:06:48):
little more attractive at thirty five than twenty eight. But
the other options available too, which is, you know, let's
say somebody like Donovan Ezeraku from Boston College slips into
the late teens, is there a world where Brad Holmes
would trade up for him? And the answer is yes,
because it's gonna thin out and there's not gonna be
much sitting there at twenty eight for you. So I
(01:07:10):
know that's not a great answer, But Brad Holmes has
done a bunch of things. We've seen him come up.
I think this draft could be one of those where
he does trade back down.
Speaker 4 (01:07:18):
But you know, we'll see break that player down that
you just talked about, because obviously you're excited about that player.
That's a player kind of fits what the Lions to do.
Talk about him a little bit because I'm intrigued.
Speaker 7 (01:07:28):
Okay, so last year he had sixteen and a half sacks.
He is he might have. Everybody wants to talk about
Abdul Carter, and they should. He's Abduel Carter is.
Speaker 12 (01:07:39):
A freak athlete, and you know, I mean he's he's
justified in going as high as pick one in this draft.
But after him, Donovan Azerak, who might have the best
pass rush arsenal in the entire draft class.
Speaker 3 (01:07:55):
He is.
Speaker 7 (01:07:57):
He has a unique body.
Speaker 12 (01:07:58):
He's six two and a half, so he's a little
shorter than what teams would like to play edge and
say in a four to three. He's two hundred and
forty eight pounds, so he's not small, he's just a
little shorter. But he does have thirty four inch arms,
so he's got the length.
Speaker 7 (01:08:11):
That you want.
Speaker 12 (01:08:12):
He's got his six foot ten plus wingspan, so you're
talking about all the length that you could possibly want,
in some ways surpassing some of the six foot five
edge rushers. But you know, you know how the leverage
game works, and when you're built a little bit shorter
than the six foot six tackles, yeah, you're already up
underneath those guys.
Speaker 7 (01:08:32):
So he can do all that stuff.
Speaker 12 (01:08:33):
He's strong, he's got he's got enough quickness, but his
hand usage and his the pass rushed Arsenal Arsenal, the
the ghost moves, the euro step, the rips, he's got.
He's got it all, and he's got it to where
it's not just haphazardly throwing it out there. He has
a plan where if this doesn't work, I'm going to this,
(01:08:56):
or or he'll do He'll do something a few times
to set up up tackles and win, and when he wins, it's,
you know, it's it's impressive. Again, sixteen and a half sacks.
He'd be a really nice uh, it'd be a really
nice way to complete your defensive line opposite Aiden Hutchinson.
The question is is he does he does he meet
(01:09:16):
their criteria criteria because they've kind of liked the bigger
like think of market Marcus Davenport, the six five, two
eighty guys.
Speaker 7 (01:09:25):
They they have seemed to like those guys. But when
you when you draft those guys.
Speaker 12 (01:09:29):
Or when you when you have those guys, you're giving
up a little bit of pass rush to have those
bigger guys. I think as a rock who again, I'm
not sure that he'll be there, but he is a
he is a weapon as a pass rusher. He'll play
the run, He'll do everything that you want to do.
Is there are there gonna be times where you might
get engulfed a little bit, Yeah, but you would give
(01:09:49):
up some of that stuff just to get the pass
rush tools that.
Speaker 7 (01:09:51):
He does have.
Speaker 4 (01:09:52):
Appreciate that this is the last one. I absolutely promise
this will can be quick. Travis Hunter, he is a
player of interest to me like he is everyone else,
But I'm interested just like everybody else is a wide receiver,
is a cornerback, is a little bit of both, is
a predominantly one. What is your feel from listening and watching?
What do you think he's gonna do it? Whatever team
takes him in the top three?
Speaker 2 (01:10:10):
Four?
Speaker 12 (01:10:13):
Yea, I think he'll play corner, play corner at a
high level and have fifteen or so offensive snaps a game.
But the thing around, the thing around him playing on
the offense is if he's in the game, you're really
trying to scheme things to him, so it might be fifteen,
(01:10:33):
you know how it is. Bra It's like, you know,
fifteen snaps on offense is not that much, right, But
if there's if they're very if they're schemed very much
for him, he might you know, he may get three
or four catches a game in those fifteen snaps. He's
a weapon as a receiver, you know. I think if
he was if he was in this class as just
(01:10:55):
a receiver, he would probably be receiver one. If he's
in class obviously just as a corner, I think he's
corner one. And the fact that he could do both
those things is remarkable. But I wouldn't put it past
him to do more than what I've said.
Speaker 7 (01:11:08):
But you know, it's just I'm trying to be conservative.
I guess you know what I mean.
Speaker 12 (01:11:14):
But I do think that he is he is a
talent unlike anything we've seen in a little while.
Speaker 5 (01:11:20):
I agree heany Scotti, thanks for coming on with us.
I see you rooting for the Jets. I think Connor
Hellibuk in the NHL playoffs.
Speaker 7 (01:11:27):
Come on now, Kyle Connor and crew.
Speaker 5 (01:11:29):
Yeah, yeah, all right. Hey, what do you think the
Lions are going to do in the first round? If
they don't move up they sit at twenty eight? Who
do you think falls to them?
Speaker 3 (01:11:40):
There?
Speaker 5 (01:11:41):
Is it an offensive lineman? Will it be the better
offensive lineman that's there, or the third or fourth defensive
end that's there at twenty eight?
Speaker 12 (01:11:50):
Well, I mean it might be like the third defensive
end or fourth defensive end, but the need is so
great that you know it that'd be fun.
Speaker 7 (01:12:01):
The problem on O line is, you know a lot
of people are.
Speaker 12 (01:12:04):
Kind of matching up Gray's abel who's from North Dakota State,
and I think he needs to play center in the
NFL so that's that's the thing that doesn't make a
ton of sense is are you are you drafting a
player who probably can't survive as a guard and needs
to play center. And if you do that in round one,
he's backing up Frank Ragnow And yeah, that looks great
if Ragnow gets hurt, but it doesn't look great if
(01:12:25):
Ragnow plays a lot. So it's an that one's confusing
on where that all goes. He's a strange bill to
his six six and three twelve with thirty two inch arms.
So you're talking about a player who's who's not real.
He doesn't punch with his hands, so he leaves his
chest open a lot. It's gonna get walked, and he's
gonna get abused by especially if you play mcguard, he's
(01:12:47):
gonna get he's gonna get moved around a lot by
the bigger defensive tackles in the NFL.
Speaker 7 (01:12:53):
You know, safety is a position of need for them.
Speaker 12 (01:12:56):
Quietly, I think Malachi Starts from Georgia would be a
really good fit at two. I know it's a boring
it'd be a boring pick. Defensive tackle Derek Harmon from
Oregon is a really interesting player. He was at Michigan
State two years ago, went out to Oregon, remade his body.
He's a very disruptive player. And then secretly, quietly wide
(01:13:16):
receiver is a kind of a position where they might
be able to hit the jackpot at pick twenty eight
with the receiver like Luther Burden who shouldn't be there
right or I know they had Matt Golden him, but
I'm sure he'll be gone. But then you have you
have some players from Iowa State. Jayden Higgins is a
bigger X receiver. Jalen Noel is a slot receiver who
(01:13:38):
a lot of people liken to Amen Ross Saint Brown,
but think that the Lions wouldn't do that because because
he's too much like Amen Ross Saint Brown.
Speaker 7 (01:13:45):
And I think that's nuts. Like if you can we
have two Amen Ross Saint Brown's on offense, please, is
that a problem?
Speaker 1 (01:13:54):
Right?
Speaker 12 (01:13:54):
Like, I mean I understand that scheme wise, it would
require a little creativity, but I think that's okay. So
those I guess that's a long way to answer. I
don't know what they're gonna do.
Speaker 5 (01:14:04):
Sure, neither wee idea neither the way if they take
a receiver, man, I think I think Detroit would go
would have a riot because first of all, you got
guys you gotta re sign.
Speaker 6 (01:14:15):
You said a safety.
Speaker 5 (01:14:16):
You got two of the best safeties in the game,
and you got to pay them both in Kirby Joseph
and Brian Branch and then you got Jambs.
Speaker 7 (01:14:22):
Pay them both. Though I can, can they pay them both?
Speaker 6 (01:14:26):
I don't know, I get it, I get it, I
don't know. I don't know. That's why we have you
on the show. Same thing.
Speaker 5 (01:14:31):
We're having a receiver in if Golden comes in here,
you know, and he visited Matthew Golden from Texas.
Speaker 6 (01:14:37):
If you know he's not gonna be there, why is
he here? And does that mean Jamison Williams is expendable?
Do you think he will be traded on Draft night?
Speaker 7 (01:14:47):
I hope not.
Speaker 3 (01:14:47):
I did that.
Speaker 7 (01:14:50):
I like I like Jamis and Williams a lot, and
I think he's grown as a player a lot. I
would hope that. I would hope they would not do that.
Speaker 12 (01:14:57):
But they are going to be in a position where
you know you're gonna have to consider you can't pay
both safeties or that's gonna be tough. You still have
to pay Hutchinson you're gonna you know, you you have
to pay Jamiir Gibbs when he's up. There's there's a
lot coming. There's a safety in the draft to whose
name is Andrew mccouba. I think you can get him
(01:15:17):
at say pick one oh two. He would be your
Kirby Joseph replacement. He is as instinctive a coverage safety
as there.
Speaker 7 (01:15:24):
Is in the draft. It's he's he's a little smaller.
Speaker 12 (01:15:27):
I want to say he's five to elevenence in the
one eighty five range, but watching him make plays on
the ball is crazy.
Speaker 7 (01:15:34):
But they're gonna be in.
Speaker 12 (01:15:35):
For some tough decisions, and I think as fans, everybody
needs to recognize that some of this, some of what
they're gonna be doing going forward, because there's not a
lost not a lot of roster availability, is potentially to
replace players that they may not be able to re sign.
So you know, I don't I don't want them to
move Jamison Williams, but if they're if they're not intending
on re signing him, then sure, you know, but I
(01:15:59):
hope that's.
Speaker 7 (01:16:00):
I hope that's not the case. Scott.
Speaker 3 (01:16:03):
One of the things and I had a big hissy
fit over this, and I admit I got my panties
and a bunch the Lions offseason, the free agency, I
just I just, you know, I feel like they're so
darn close to a super Bowl that I would like
them to go for it. What does that mean? I
know Crosby and Garrett are not available. I don't know
(01:16:27):
what that means. It just you know when you see it.
Is there a player in this draft? Because I do
not believe you can draft yourself to a championship. I
just don't think you can do it. But if this
is the route the Lions go, is there a player
in this draft not named Abduel Carter? Probably because I
don't think they get him. Is there a player in
(01:16:47):
this draft that if they get this guy on you know,
opposite Aiden Hutchinson, where you say this guy, this guy
is a steal, this guy is a stud, this guy
is gonna put them over the top. This guy is
going to give them an opportunity to solidify that side
(01:17:08):
of the defensive line.
Speaker 7 (01:17:10):
Is it's going to give that a lot of trouble?
Speaker 3 (01:17:12):
Does that player exist?
Speaker 7 (01:17:15):
Yeah? That player does exist. His name is Shamar Stewart
from Texas, A and M.
Speaker 12 (01:17:22):
Yeah, but I can already I can already feel the
eyes rolling out there.
Speaker 7 (01:17:27):
He had four and a half sacks in his college career.
Speaker 3 (01:17:30):
So right, yeah, right, no, it's great. I'm not laughing
at you, I'm laughing with him. This is perfect, exactly.
Speaker 6 (01:17:42):
The numbers.
Speaker 4 (01:17:43):
The numbers don't always tell you.
Speaker 3 (01:17:46):
In college.
Speaker 7 (01:17:48):
He is six'.
Speaker 12 (01:17:50):
Five he played in the in the mid two eighties
At TEXAS a AND. M he way to sixty seven
at his pro or at the combine he ran a ridiculous.
NUMBER i want to say it was up four to.
Six he's got heavy, hands he's very. Physical he's got
thirty four and a half inch. Arms he's a dominant
run defender right. Now it's just the Way TEXAS a
(01:18:12):
AND m uses the their edge players is a lot
like What georgia, does which is they have him line
up head up over the offensive tackle or even maybe
kicked in at FOUR, i which is a little more
inside the ball than, that and then they have them
step into THE b, gap so it's he's not on
the edge of the of the offensive line just ripping
around the corner all the, time simply because that's not
(01:18:34):
what they ask them to do and then they ask
them to bulk. Up So nick S gorton is another
player who played edge FOR a AND. M he played
At perdue two years. Ago looked like a totally different
Guy At. Perdue he goes down TO a AND. M
they ask him to bulk up to two to eighty
and he looks kind of stiff and slow and he
HIS a AND m film reminds me a lot Of Josh.
Pascal but back To Shamar. Stewart if we're talking about
(01:18:57):
a streamlined version of this guy who is an athletic,
FREAK i mean like a freak and you just you
just project the, upside which is kind of what you're
asking me to. Do he is the one guy After
Abdul carter in this draft that can change the way
offenses decide to do things because of his ability to
defend the run and then develop as a pass rusher
(01:19:20):
AND i mean. Develop he's gonna have to develop, that
but some of that stuff is already. There he does get,
pressures so it's not like it's me playing on the you,
know on the edge of that that defensive line or
you no.
Speaker 7 (01:19:32):
OFFENSE i, mean he's a.
Speaker 12 (01:19:34):
Dude it's just he's got to he's got to grow
as a, player but he is the one player where you, think,
yeah if they draft, him that dude in two years
could be an absolute rock.
Speaker 4 (01:19:43):
Star talking To Scott Bishop footballguys Dot, Com, Okay i'm
gonna put you on the.
Speaker 3 (01:19:47):
Spot here we. Go oh because When.
Speaker 4 (01:19:51):
Maz asked you the question if who falls at twenty,
EIGHT i heard about four different positions. Mentioned but then
When ryan asked, you who's the guy that if The
lions get him those defensive Linement Jamar. Stewart with that being,
said do you think The lions roster as currently constructed
through the free agency to draft and everything it. Is
do you think it's a set enough roster that it
(01:20:11):
does not matter what they take in the first round
or do you think they got to focused on.
Speaker 12 (01:20:17):
SOMETHING i think they have to figure out a way
to get some help from their first round. Pick if
you told me that they were going to go into
the into their into the regular season with what they
have out of their defensive end, GROUP i would SAY
i would have preferred if they, signed if they Resign
Zadarius smith and drafted an edge.
Speaker 7 (01:20:37):
Player SO i would hope that THEY i kind of
hope they. Do they need they need more pass rush.
Speaker 12 (01:20:42):
Help thank you At peck at pick, Sixty Josiah stewart
would be that be a home run kind of a
pick From.
Speaker 7 (01:20:49):
MICHIGAN i know you ran a slow. FORTY i don't,
care it doesn't.
Speaker 12 (01:20:52):
Matter so just from a just from like a pressure,
standpoint you know he can do who he can do those.
Things it's just you have a bunch of older. Players
you know they need they need some help.
Speaker 7 (01:21:05):
There but you, KNOW i understand that you.
Speaker 12 (01:21:08):
Can't you can't just sit At you, know you can't
go into day one saying we're taking an edge, player
no matter who it, is because that's how you get in.
Trouble but you, KNOW i do think that their window
is now and if you can find help young help Opposite,
hutchinson especially in year one where there's a rotation of
players where you're not totally relying upon you're not relying
(01:21:30):
upon Markets davenport to give you seventeen games of top tier,
production there's gonna be a you, know a committee.
Speaker 7 (01:21:36):
THERE i think that makes. Sense but you, know you
could say the same thing about.
Speaker 3 (01:21:40):
Guard do they need a?
Speaker 7 (01:21:41):
Guard? YEAH i think they.
Speaker 12 (01:21:42):
Do you, KNOW i Think Graham glasgow would be would
be a nice, interior you, know depth, piece but not.
Speaker 7 (01:21:50):
Necessarily a player you'd want to.
Speaker 12 (01:21:52):
Start so then you're looking at a player Like Donovan
jackson From Ohio state who could PLAY i think could
play guard at a pretty high. Level for, you it's
is that a little rich for all the pieces they
already have on their offensive line that they that they
grabbed In round? One it might, Be but then, again
the strength of this offense is their offensive. Line So
i'm waffling.
Speaker 4 (01:22:12):
AGAIN i guess, YEAH i asked the question because so go, ahead.
Man the only REASON i asked the question IS i
was one of those, Guys, hey, look, Man Miles, Garrett Trey,
Henderson hell if you Get Trey. Henderson i'm still a
fan of that. Move but a lot of people, say, hey,
look the team we had last year before the injuries
is a team that should have went to The Super,
(01:22:32):
bowl had a chance to win The Super. Bowl so
EVENTUALLY i started coming off of it a little bit and,
saying all, right BUT i look at THAT d line
as currently, constructed AND i know that one guy's coming
back from, injury two guys coming back from, injury three
guys come back from, injury and fourth guy he got
injured a couple of times last.
Speaker 3 (01:22:48):
Year so that defensive line is WHAT i want them to.
Speaker 7 (01:22:51):
Address, Indeed well, said how about.
Speaker 5 (01:22:55):
THIS i want to ask you about the quarterbacks in this.
Draft what team games in this first round are taking? Quarterback, scott.
Speaker 7 (01:23:05):
The Tennessee, Titans, tom that's.
Speaker 5 (01:23:08):
One are The giants in The Cleveland browns taking? QUARTERBACKS
i could.
Speaker 12 (01:23:13):
See one of those two teams trading into the end
of round one to grab a.
Speaker 7 (01:23:19):
Quarterback but The saints at picked nine.
Speaker 12 (01:23:23):
Are interesting quarterback. Spot ye The jets that pick seven
are you? Know, yeah this is gonna you, know if
you Have Justin fields and you're The, Jets Jalen milroe
makes some. SENSE i know it's, early But milroe makes
some sense. There to pair With Justin fields and you'd,
run you'd be running almost the same. Offense the problem
(01:23:43):
With Shador sanders And Jackson dart is that that and
we talked about this, earlier with their footwork and some
of the stuff that they some of the flaws in their.
Game they don't have arm strength enough to make up
for the for the sometimes sloppiness in their.
Speaker 7 (01:23:58):
Feet where Cam woord. Does ward's got a.
Speaker 12 (01:24:00):
Cannon he's gonna enter THE nfl and have a top ten,
arm so he doesn't really need to have his platforms
set to rip.
Speaker 7 (01:24:07):
Throws but the other guys.
Speaker 9 (01:24:08):
Do.
Speaker 12 (01:24:09):
So some of these places that we're talking, about Like
pittsburgh And, cleveland you know those are cold, weather not
easy places to drive the ball into the cold and the.
Wind uh are you really, taking you, Know jackson dart.
Speaker 3 (01:24:25):
To are you really going?
Speaker 7 (01:24:26):
TO i don't know, right, so so it doesn't they're.
Not there's there's not perfect fits.
Speaker 12 (01:24:31):
There but in round, ONE i would, think you, know The,
jets The, SAINTS i would think you'd be looking At
pittsburgh get picked twenty one and then trade ups for
The giants and The browns to come back up into you,
know the the late, twenties possibly to grab a quarterback
and get that fifth year.
Speaker 7 (01:24:49):
Option those make sense to.
Speaker 12 (01:24:50):
Me but then there are there are other, teams like
what Does seattle do if a player Like Shador sanders is?
Speaker 7 (01:24:57):
Available are they intrigued? There they could.
Speaker 6 (01:24:59):
Be they couldn't be last one on The lions for,
me the last one on The.
Speaker 5 (01:25:03):
Lion, yeah you're, Right Jackson dart was like supposedly a
gold mine for them to sit Behind Matthew. Stafford as
far as The, lions last, year they reached On, manu
they Drafted. Mahogany mahogany looks like he has he's gonna be.
Okay do you think those two guys take a step
up this year for The.
Speaker 7 (01:25:23):
Lions mahogany, does for.
Speaker 12 (01:25:26):
SURE i think HE'S i think the projections are for
him to start for. THEM i Think maneu is still
a year. AWAY I i think there's some discussion around
him playing, guard BUT i don't think that that's necessarily
a thing so. MUCH i think this is a player
who's gonna play. Tackle he's gonna play on the edge.
Speaker 7 (01:25:42):
Of the offensive line if it. Works and you, know,
uh he's training With Taylor. Decker we'll. SEE i think
he's a year away from really that conversation. Happening but.
Speaker 12 (01:25:57):
You, KNOW i, MEAN i think they'll cross train him
and trying to try to play him at guard a.
LITTLE i Just i'm not sure that his physical profile
of fits.
Speaker 3 (01:26:04):
That, Hey, scott thanks for spending all this time with.
US i could talk to you for. Long you got
a couple of more minutes for. Us, yeah all, right,
good good. Good i'm just gonna extend this. Break we
won't take a commercial break and just extend this three
point thirty. Peat just so you, KNOW i want to
ask you just back to shaduar. Standards give me a
best case scenario and a worst case scenario For chador
(01:26:27):
on draft. Night best case worst, CASE.
Speaker 12 (01:26:32):
I mean best case for his stock is he goes
to The giants at three. Yep worst cases he falls
and potentially goes to, say The browns in the late first.
Round AND i just don't think that's a great fit
for what he is as a. PLAYER i think we're
talking about a player that has Some Jared goff like
(01:26:56):
uh stuff and you, know where near as accurate as golf.
Is but he's accurate and he's Got he does have
really nice ability in the in his release to manipulate
his release to deliver the ball kind of you.
Speaker 7 (01:27:09):
Know in, rhythm in.
Speaker 12 (01:27:11):
Tempo he can layer throws and that kind of. Stuff
he's just not a quarterback who's gonna rip throws and
throw guys. Open he needs to see it first and
then throw it.
Speaker 3 (01:27:22):
Open And.
Speaker 12 (01:27:25):
Braylen you mentioned earlier with you, know the windows closing
in THE nfl and things just happening.
Speaker 7 (01:27:30):
Faster that's. Tough it's a tough. Combination so it. IS
i don't like any of.
Speaker 12 (01:27:36):
The destinations For shudor where it's outside and in the
cold and in the, wind BECAUSE i just don't know
that he can drive the ball in those. Conditions, now,
indoors if he goes to The, saints that's a really
good situation for him because because you are talking about, timing, tempo,
indoors all that, stuff that's it's just a lot better for.
Him he's a good, player he's a good, prospect but
(01:27:58):
it's but he's nowhere near what we saw LAST.
Speaker 3 (01:28:00):
I want to ask you About Ashton genty as. WELL
i feel Like Jamiir gibbs and what he gave The Detroit,
lions it was kind of like On draft, night it
was kind of like a what are they? Doing and
then you get to the, games you get to the,
season and you're, like holy, Crap, yeah who cares where
they take? Him when teams see what happened with The
(01:28:22):
lions And, gibbs the impact That gibbs had of The,
lions does it make it EASIER i guess to pick
a guy Like genty And braylan is thrown out. THIS
i actually think he's a fantastic. Idea if You're, cleveland
why not take him at, Too Ashton genty. Too what
he could do for that team With Nick chubb getting
(01:28:43):
hurt every third, Game my, goodness you play, defense you
run the, football able to do. Something, now maybe not,
too but but he's gonna be high up.
Speaker 12 (01:28:56):
There, YEAH i think HE'S i could see The bears
can a move from ten to five With jacksonville Taking
janty and making life miserable For lions. Fans think about
the pressure he would take off Of Caleb. Williams just you,
know it's it's kind of nightmarage to think. About but
he is so Where gibbs was electric from a from
(01:29:17):
a speed and explosion, Standpoint janty can do all those.
Things but then he's impossible to tackle. Too so you
get him squared up and it's just, like good, luck
you're not you, know you're not tackling that.
Speaker 7 (01:29:27):
Guy so you see lots of forcements.
Speaker 12 (01:29:29):
Tackles think About Nick chubb is a good comparison for,
him Because Nick chubb was.
Speaker 7 (01:29:36):
Really hard to tackle.
Speaker 12 (01:29:37):
Too it's just but add the breakaway speed of of
say a player Like gibbs into the. Mix On Nick chubb's,
Body you're, right, like it's just gonna be a he's
a he's gonna be a problem very. Quickly he's got
to let a.
Speaker 7 (01:29:55):
TREAD i, mean you know he. Doesn't he's taking a
lot of college, carries, Right he's ton of.
Speaker 12 (01:30:00):
Them so but you know one thing that that kind
of stands out in his game is, that, boys he
didn't really use him as a pass catcher much last.
Year he's really good at. That SO i think at
the in THE nfl, level we'll see. Him we'll see
him catch more, passes get out into space a little
more and run away from some. Defenses he's gonna hit home,
runs he's gonna he's gonna be a highlight reel almost every.
Speaker 7 (01:30:20):
Weekend there's gonna be something he. Does it's just.
Speaker 12 (01:30:22):
Absurd we cross your fingers that he doesn't end up
in THE Nfc north with The. Bears that's All i'll.
Speaker 3 (01:30:28):
Say no doubt about, that all. Right last one for,
me my, guy our, Guy Will johnson worked out FOR
nfl teams. Today did not run the. Forty apparently he's
been running in the four fives and did not run the.
Forty great vertical short, shuttle above average, skills very. Smooth
(01:30:50):
everybody loved what they. Saw you, know he did run
twenty miles an hour on a pick six this, year
So i'm not sure you know if the forty. Matters
but where do you Evaluate Will johnson for this? Draft
because he hasn't played a lot this, year he didn't
(01:31:10):
work out at the combine and these things like. That
where would you Slot Will? Johnson how do you evaluate?
Him so.
Speaker 12 (01:31:18):
The whole conversation Around Will johnson is do you deploy
him as a zone corner or as a man? Corner
and to, Me Will johnson is a guy WHO i
want looking at the. QUARTERBACK i want him reading stuff
happening in front of him and then breaking on stuff
in front of. Him, so you, KNOW i think that
he's much better in his zone system than he would
(01:31:39):
be in a man.
Speaker 3 (01:31:40):
System where that's exactly that's Exactly i'm just not Tou
that is exactly everything That I'M i just saw about
him as. Well just there's a zones a team with
his that plays his own. Defense.
Speaker 12 (01:31:54):
Absolutely, Yeah so so you may you mitigate some of
the speed issues and you mitigate you, know the long
speed stuff for. SURE i, mean at some point in,
time all coverage is going to become man, coverage, Right
so when a guy enters your, zone you're you're responsible
for covering. Him but if you're if you're playing off
and you, can you can get out of your pedal
and make and break on the ball and use your,
(01:32:15):
instincts WHICH i think he has premier.
Speaker 7 (01:32:17):
Instincts, yeah so that's kind of where it.
Speaker 12 (01:32:21):
Is so so if there's a if there's a zone
heavy team that that's comfortable with him in the in
the you, know let's say It's miami at pick.
Speaker 7 (01:32:30):
THIRTEEN i think that makes. Sense you.
Speaker 12 (01:32:32):
Know, UH i think that it's one of those things
where nobody would nobody really would have questioned his speed
a year and a half, ago coming off you, know
off that title.
Speaker 7 (01:32:41):
Run they just wouldn't have done.
Speaker 1 (01:32:42):
It, so.
Speaker 12 (01:32:44):
You, know one of the tells in the whole process
is the fact that he didn't run a, forty which
tells you he knows what he. RUNS i, mean if
he was going to run four four, five he'd ran
the forty.
Speaker 3 (01:32:53):
Today so.
Speaker 7 (01:32:55):
You, know BUT i don't think IT i mean it,
matters but not to the extent that he.
Speaker 12 (01:32:59):
Should fall all too crazy far in a draft like,
this because he's a really good player, still, Right SO
i think he goes around pick fifteen range and he
might and maybe he falls a little and somebody gets
a value, then but it's a fit and finished kind of, thing,
Right so which teams play a lot of zone and
are they comfortable with? Him?
Speaker 3 (01:33:19):
YEAH i.
Speaker 4 (01:33:19):
AGREE i Told, ryan we're having a conversation About will
and we're one day on the, show AND i said
he would be the player THAT i would pick to
drop BECAUSE i think when you had this conversation about
the two years, ago everything you said, is you, know
he's he's a man, corner he's the guy he's gonna,
shadow he's gonna he's gonna. Move but like now you
start to have those, conversations now you start to have a,
questions you start to see that definitely his zone more.
(01:33:40):
Corner LIKE i think you put in some situation with
those high state receivers though the last couple years when
you saw if he's on an island and there could
be something exploiting going on with. That but definitely a
damn good a lot of these DB's and leads that
are really. Good our zone type. Corners Darius slay most
notably because of. Mine he can play. Man but you
Put Darius lay in the zone type, scheme he makes
The Pro. Bowl so Each ward Sent tom.
Speaker 5 (01:34:01):
Math hey last one from Us scotti from the, chat
we Got dante one fifty one And ryan's. Reaction they
want to ask you About Shador. Sanders dante, says how
about The? Raiders ryan, says how About, pittsburgh The saints
or The.
Speaker 12 (01:34:15):
Raiders, well we talked About we talked About pittsburgh at
twenty one being an option for. Him, again don't love
the weather, there but it makes. Sense they need A i,
mean they really need a quarterback The. Saints, obviously we
talked about it at.
Speaker 7 (01:34:30):
Nine makes.
Speaker 12 (01:34:31):
SENSE i do think that he was connected to The
raiders Through Tom brady and early in the. Process But
Geno smith is. THERE i think that they re Signed
Geno smith to a little bit of. Money so, yeah you,
know is it a perfect? Fit not really with The.
RAIDERS i would think The raiders would be more of
(01:34:51):
An Ashton janty team Than. Shaudor but you, know it's
THE nfl draft who knows anything is. Possible you, know
all these teams that don't have premier quarterbacks are looking for.
Quarterback so you know This this isn't a great quarterback,
class but it's not terrible. Either it's, just don't you,
know if you're The raiders and you draft a player Like,
(01:35:13):
shador make sure that you're you have a situation around
him where you get rid of the ball quick right
and With bowers And Jacoby myers you might be able
to do.
Speaker 7 (01:35:20):
That it's just you need you need.
Speaker 3 (01:35:22):
Help what About Jamison williams for T J?
Speaker 7 (01:35:26):
Watt, well, yeah BUT i mean how? Much how much
do you have to pay T?
Speaker 3 (01:35:34):

Speaker 6 (01:36:08):
Especially it is just to get them all one more
time before it's.
Speaker 3 (01:36:13):
Over, yeah you. Know, also, uh you, know just the
idea of the draft used to be the biggest thing
In detroit. Forever this it. Doesn't it's not.
Speaker 5 (01:36:21):
Anymore, no we're picking at the end of the. Draft
we really don't need much and you hurt them and this.
Speaker 3 (01:36:26):
Sucks.
Speaker 6 (01:36:27):
Guys we have so many good players that we're not
gonna be able to sign them.
Speaker 5 (01:36:31):
All and that's what, always that's what affects the free
agency and guys like me that bitch and complain that
we don't get anyone a free agency when we have
such great players that we're not gonna be able to
resign them.
Speaker 6 (01:36:43):
All let's let's name.
Speaker 5 (01:36:44):
Them start At, jamison start With, hutch start With, Kirby Brian, Branch,
Jamison Williamsorida, Laporta Jack. Campbell all these guys are gonna get.
Paid Jamiir.
Speaker 3 (01:36:56):
GIBBS i didn't even mention it didn't even Mention.
Speaker 5 (01:36:58):
Gibbs that's seven or eight guys that any team in
THE nfl would love to have in free, agency and
they're on our team and you probably can't sign them.
Speaker 6 (01:37:10):
All ran, men look for a couple of guys that get.
Speaker 4 (01:37:13):
Moved ryan mentioned it a year or two, ago but he,
said we have a really good. Team they've drafted really good.
Players at some point in, time you won't be able
to play, everybody and you didn't think about the. Time
everything is, good he's. Young it's a.
Speaker 6 (01:37:26):
Draft that's why you gotta.
Speaker 7 (01:37:27):
Win.
Speaker 4 (01:37:27):
Now now here we are two years, later and you're
looking around, Everything ryan, SAYS i, Correct you're, like who
do we sign? Now you have situations like is it?
Speaker 3 (01:37:36):
Him or is it? Him the MORE i think about, it,
man just That San francisco second, Half oh my, god
that's what you were. THERE i was.
Speaker 6 (01:37:45):
THERE i just people were booking their flights To. Vegas,
YEAH i don't.
Speaker 3 (01:37:49):
THEM i mean it WAS i thought we were gonna
win right down to the. End we yeah my, Lines,
uh pretty, incredible, man pretty. Incredible and you Heard, tony
you saw him that. NIGHT i don't know if we'll
ever get back here. Again and guess, what it's getting
harder every single. Year. Gotcha we'll take a, break come

Speaker 5 (01:42:51):
Championship i'll tell YOU i watched it On, thursday the,
semifinal and they almost blew that game To. DENVER i
mean they were up to. Nothing they played defense and
wound up going to double. Overtime they got to. Win
but they were the best team all year in college.
Hockey i'll tell, you The Frozen. Four it's so fun to.
Watch and guess. What the Last michigan team to win
(01:43:13):
was twenty twelve and it Was Fairris. State So michigan
And Michigan. State he got some work to, do gotta
win a. Championship Michigan state's got one of the best
goalies in the. Country belongs to The Red. Wings speaking
of The Red, wings nine straight years now out of the.
Playoffs officially we knew it was gonna, happen but it became.
Official they close out the home, tonight they close out
(01:43:35):
home against The Dallas. Stars then they'll finish on the
Road jersey the next, night And thursday they finish up
In toronto and. ANOTHER a lot of people have been saying,
this if your name is Not Steve, eiserman you. Fired
that's a.
Speaker 3 (01:43:52):
Fact you're.
Speaker 6 (01:43:53):
Fired he's got drafts that we think are, good but
we don't.
Speaker 5 (01:43:58):
Know this is almost like The, alavilla, Right it's almost
identical To, alavila because when If isaman does, leave AND
i doubt he, will you could see the players he's
drafted maybe come back and start performing like The tigers
That alavilla. Drafted but he sucked at free, agency and
(01:44:19):
so Did. Eiserman and it's another year at The Red,
wings you, know an original eighteen along With boston and The.
Rangers they're not playing in the. Playoffs The rangers were
last Year's Presidents trophy. Winner they're out of the. Playoffs
The bruins out of the, Playoffs Red wings out of the.
Speaker 6 (01:44:38):
Playoffs look at, that those dolls are going all over the.
Speaker 4 (01:44:45):
PLACE i just wanted to go back To michigan real
quick as it released to. Hockey, Yeah michigan went to
The frozen four in twenty, four twenty, three twenty, two, eighteen,
eleven three two one and won a national championship in ninety.
Speaker 3 (01:44:59):
Seven what Is Michigan.
Speaker 6 (01:45:01):
State there they've been to The frozen four quite a
number of.
Speaker 3 (01:45:04):
Times not as much As.
Speaker 4 (01:45:06):
Missigan, no that's anyone else CHAMPIONSHIP i don't. Remember don't
Mintion michigan And Misigan state in the Same all?
Speaker 6 (01:45:12):
Right CAN i?
Speaker 7 (01:45:14):
CAN?
Speaker 3 (01:45:14):
I CAN i do something? Here i'm gonna be you like?
That YEAH i. Did i'm gonna be positive about The
Red wicks for a. Minute here you.
Speaker 7 (01:45:22):
Go you?
Speaker 3 (01:45:22):
Ready if you would have told me last year that
The Detroit, pistons who won fourteen games would be the
darlings of THE nba the following year and be one
of the most fun teams to watch and be a
(01:45:47):
top six seed in THE nba, PLAYOFFS i wouldn't have believed.
You no, chance no, way no How Rob parker park no.
Speaker 6 (01:45:57):
Way How?
Speaker 3 (01:45:59):
So so why can't The Detroit Red wings do?
Speaker 4 (01:46:03):
That because they're not gonna get rid of the front
office individuals much Like tom gors. Did they're not gonna
switch that. Up they're gonna keep the guy they got
in there with You. Stevie why he's gonna keep all
his Former Red wing. Buddies they're gonna keep the coach
that they just fired or just replaced four towards the
end of the, season and they're gonna run this thing.
Back they're gonna run back the same thing that has
(01:46:23):
not worked in terms of getting to the, playoffs because
now they got their, coach because now they're having off,
season because now the team will be together at, least
this is what they're telling us for the seventh year
in a. Row so that's why The pistons was different
because Finally Tom gors, Said i've had. Enough Lo LOOK
mani you get your stuff and you get out of.
There Troy, weaver you get your. Stuff don't let the
door hit you with a good lord split. You he
(01:46:43):
did that and he bought in somebody that took it
serious And Trajon. Langdon the business acumen has been.
Speaker 3 (01:46:49):
AMAZING.
Speaker 4 (01:46:49):
Jb bickerstaff knows how to build with younger. Players so
they did a professional. Job Congratulations. Pistons that's not what
we're seeing FROM, lca at least not.
Speaker 3 (01:46:59):
Yet, WELL.
Speaker 5 (01:47:04):
I stand, correct dream over that's all we got on the. Wings,
YEAH i, mean you, know it's coming into the good
time of the year. Again got baseball and full, SWING
nba AND nhl.
Speaker 6 (01:47:19):
Playoffs we are.
Speaker 3 (01:47:21):
Heading in probably let's see what days. Today so four
weeks from, now four weeks from, now we are entering
the worst part of the sports. Calendar there's four weeks from.
Today what is this the. Fourteenth four weeks from, today
you have THE nfl schedule, release so you got the
(01:47:44):
draft this next. Week then you got the schedule. Release
in a couple of, weeks you got SOME nba playoffs
And Stanley cup, playoffs and then you just have baseball
that That june And. July what's the summer Period braylin's golf. Excursions,
Oh i'm not.
Speaker 7 (01:48:04):
You're talking.
Speaker 4 (01:48:08):
The, mass but at least at least The pistons are
in the, playoffs and you know playoffs are gonna last two.
Weeks by the, way you got the playing tournament this.
Speaker 3 (01:48:16):
Week it's a week Between games one And games two
in THE, nba so.
Speaker 4 (01:48:20):
You'll get two weeks out of. That you'll get the
draft stuff and The. Tigers The tigers are LEAD Nao.
Central last TIME i checked, Up.
Speaker 6 (01:48:27):
Ryan is the one that said it's. BAD i said it's.
Speaker 4 (01:48:29):
Good it has been typically But i'm spreading the new
cheer Though i'm trying to pick.
Speaker 6 (01:48:33):
CHEER i want to show you this Video Bill. BELICHICK
i showed you last week how.
Speaker 3 (01:48:38):
He was coaching up as boys assistant.
Speaker 8 (01:48:40):
Coach this, is, uh this is how we're going to
finish the show every. DAY i see mass this is
u N c's practice and. There, yeah we're not gonna
play the audio because this, music we'll talk over. It
let's look at, uh you Know Bill belichick's assistant coming out.
Speaker 6 (01:48:56):
There she's running the. Business That's jordan and his. Girlfriend
he's fifty years older than. Her, yeah and it's just
doing whatever you.
Speaker 3 (01:49:04):
Want she could do whatever she wants to.
Speaker 7 (01:49:07):

Speaker 4 (01:49:09):
TikTok by the, Way i'm gonna tell, you, like you know,
What i'm gonna stop having beef with. It look good for,
her like good for her for finessing and for niggling the.
System she Got Bill, belichick mister Super bowl rings to

gotten her and taking her with him on this journey
to you want to see she made it happen for.
Speaker 3 (01:49:29):
Herself, look go. Ahead she couldn't be a. Trophy.
Speaker 4 (01:49:32):
WATCH i can't be mad at you for. Winning she's
winning and.
Speaker 3 (01:49:35):
Winning Uh dante one. Five it feels like every Just
detroit sports fan in the state Of michigan went into
the twilight zone where The tigers lines And pistons are
all good and The Red wings. Suck what a time
to be.
Speaker 11 (01:49:47):
Alive William, Shatner, yeah Wild.
Speaker 3 (01:49:50):
Man the difference between The Red wings and The, pistons
Though pistons did have a round one pick, One tigers
have a round one pick one to two of. Them
The lions have top five. Picks The Red wings do
not have the trick and you are seeing that they
have never gotten locked in The allotto. Either and maybe
(01:50:11):
this year is their.
Speaker 4 (01:50:12):
Year, Maybe And i'm glad you said. That for as
much as we make every, year are they gonna make the?
Playoffs and then we get down to this, point are
they gonna ench In? Andy it doesn't matter because they
still don't have the Guy LIKE i love Dealing. Larkin
But i'm, saying like in the, playoffs do you feel
comfortable to The Red wings winning in the? Playoffs not,
really So it's like they didn't make it and that.
Sucks but at the same, time they also would have got,
(01:50:32):
popped just like they would have did last.
Speaker 5 (01:50:34):
YEAR a couple of quarterback. Items drew lock is back
with The Seattle. Seahawks he's gonna be backing up By Sam.
Darnold and if you, REMEMBER i told YOU i was
at the game when The giants beat The colts last
year to. Lose the number one draft Pick Drew lock
had four touchdowns that, game almost four hundred yards on,
offense two ran two in on his. OWN i think
(01:50:56):
he's a terrific. Backup and that takes us to The.
Lions and we've Got Kyle allen Against Hendon hooker for our.
Backup and, AGAIN i hope we never have to see the,
backup but it's always good to know you have a
guy just in. Case and it look it just seems
like the lionses don't give a damn backup. Quarterback they're
(01:51:17):
gonna spend a million. Dollars that's. It that's what we,
got just like they paid the kicker last. Year that's
what we, got, Man and that's ALL i got on
the backup.
Speaker 6 (01:51:27):
Quarterbacks teak gonna look.
Speaker 3 (01:51:28):

Speaker 4 (01:52:39):
To they're not gonna Draft Chardure. Sanders they will. Not
they're going to It Joe flacco Against Kenny. Pickett whoever
