Bu bölümde, benim için çok özel bir isim olan bebek–çocuk–ergen psikoloğu Füsun Aygölü ile ebeveynliğin sıklıkla yanlış anlaşılan kavramlarından birini konuşuyoruz: Çerçeve.
Çerçeve, çoğu zaman “kısıtlama” gibi algılansa da, aslında çocuğun güven duygusunun temelidir. Çerçevesiz bir çocuk yönsüz, fazla sıkı çerçeveli bir çocuk ise nefessiz kalır. Ebeveynlikte mesele, sevgi ve şefkatle birleşen esnek ama kararlı sınırlar koyabilmek.

Füsun Aygölü’nün söylediği gibi, tek bir doğru ebeveynlik yok; ama her çocuk, bireyliğine saygı duyan ve şefkatle rehberlik eden bir yetişkine ihtiyaç duyuyor.
Ebeveynlikte sınır koymakta zorlanan, “hayır” derken suçluluk hisseden ya da çerçevenin ne olduğunu anlamaya çalışan herkes için rehber niteliğinde bir bölüm.

The Brothers Ortiz
The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways.
