When you're feeling like giving up,my friend, I want you to know
today powerful ways to stay motivated andnever give up. Most of us,
at one time or another in ourlives have felt that something is just so
hard. It could be something you'vebeen struggling with for so long. It

could even be life. It safeare not the triers and the tribulations that
come with it, And you aresaying right now, I'm just going to
give up. It doesn't worth it. It is not worth the effort.
I've been at it for so long. I know that this is coming from
the burdening of the daily problems thatwe are facing. But the truth is,

when we hope on up God's world, we find that some of the
greatest heroes that we consider heroes inGirl's world had the same type of feeling.
You see, some of the greatpeople in the Bible felt like giving
up at times. As a matterof fact, God himself doesn't hide the
faults and failures of his great heroes, but he uses this to bring about

his plan of serviation to the mankind. The Bible does not hide the faults
of these heroes. Were read inthe Old Testament about one of the great
prophets Elijah, Elijah who had foughtthe battle and had called down the fire
to consume the sacrifice. We findthat Elijah himself, after that great victory,

he went into such great depression thathe went out into the desert and
said, God, just give me. I'm tired. He was so fearful
of the retribution of the queen thathe said, Lord, this is enough.
Just take me home to the glory. I'm ready to give up.

Delimaiah is another prophet in the OldTestament known as the whipping prophets. He
came to a point. He cameto a place where he said, I
think it will have been better ifI had never been born. He was
struggling with depression. He was strugglingwith the thought of his failure. He
was struggling with the challenges of hisage. I would like to share with

you to day four powerful ways tobe motivated and never give up. The
focus today is why you soon notgive up. I want to share with
you four powerful ways from the worldof God to be motivated and never give
up. Take your Bible with meto day and turn to the Book of
Art Arts Chapter in ten. Inthe Book of Art, we read the

story of the apost to Paul,great hero of the New Testaments. We
read the life of Paul, andas we follow his life in the Book
of Art, we read that hecame to a place of Collins. And
in this place Paul himself, thisgreat appost who had given us the majority
of our New Testaments, Paul himselfwas struggling with depression, rejection, and

despredency, and in saying I thinkI may give up, we need to
understand what brought Paul to this situation. What were the circumstances that Paul was
facing that we're making to even beginto think that way. I do not
only what us to see these circumstancesthat Paul was facing. I also want

us to see how the Lord cameto administer to him. What was God's
world to Paul at that moment?What does God have to say to us
today? And what is God's sayingto us in our situation today? First
of all, we need to understandpoor circumstances, and that will be finding
chapter in teen face number one.Chapter inteen face number one says, after

this Paul left eighteen's and he wentto Collins. Let me tell you about
the city of Collins. We knowabout the city of Colins through the letter

As he began to preach the gospel. As he began to stand up and

Now let's look at our chapter eighteen, phase five and six, when Silas

ready to give up, when youlook at your environment, when you look
at your community, when you lookat the circumstances around you, and when
you begin to say, what isthe use of all this? I'm tired
of trying. I just want togive up. That was the moment that
God came to poll and say,let me remind you of my presence in

your circumstance, in the situation youare going to run now, I mere
to remind you of my presence.The Bible says in the Book of Art

saw for me walking around the fire. He saw for me walking inside the

feary fulness. Who was the faultsman? I believe is Jesus Christ himselfe

they comfort me. One thing Iwill always like to remind you that Jesus

I am always with you, evento the end of the age. Be
sure of this, not this,I'm always with you even to the end

of the age. In the Bookof Hebrews, God himself says to you
and to me, I am withyou. I will never ever leave you.
I will never forsake you. Thatis why, no matter what you
are going through, God is saying, I am going through with you.
I will never leave you. Iwant you to know today that even when

you are going through the most difficulttimes of your life, God says,
I will be there with you.God says, I will be dere with
you. I will walk you throughthe family of death. I will never
leave you. I will never forsakeyou. When you're hurt, he hurts.
When you have sorrow, he hassorrow. Don't give up. It

is too soon. Don't give up. It is too soon to give up.
It is always too soon to giveup. I want you to know
today you have the promise of Hispresence. You have the promise of God's
presses. I wanted to listen toone of the most precious promises in all

feel like God has abandoned us.At times, we feel like God is

are making fun of us, orwhen we are going through physical triers,
or family persecution, or family difficulties. We feel like God has left us

and he is somewhere out there inthe universe. But I want you to
know today the promise of God's wordsays is need. So God came to
Pull and he reminded him of hispresence. God is reminding you of his
presence today. Secondly, he remindedhim of his protection is he says,

and no one is going to beable to hurt you. I wanted to

that doesn't mean that he was notgoing to be hurt in the future.
God was coming to Paul and saying, Paul, here in Collins, in
this circumstance, in this particular circumstance, you are not going to be hurt.

I wanted to listen to me.I do not understand why God permits
some things to come into our lifeand at the other time, why he
did not permit some other things.I do not understand why certain period in
our life, how certain things tohappen. But one thing that I have
become convinced is, Dads, thereis absolutely nothing coming to your life as

a child of God that has notpassed through his suffering hands, and He
intends to use it for your goodand for his glory. I wanted to
know today, if Jesus is inyour life, you are see kill for
a eternity. Above you is glorycloud Around you, I is everlasting hands.

Ahead of you is your guide,and behind you is your guide.
You are protected by the Lordesus Christ. There are a lot of things to
make people afraid. There are alot of things going on in our nation.
But I wanted to listen to anothergreat promise from the world of God.

In the Book of Isaiah forty nine, verse fifteen, the word of
the losses can a mother forget andnothing child can save? Feel no law
for child, say as Baurn.But even if that were possible. I
will not forget you, says theLord. I have written your name in
the palm of my hands. Thatis how much he loves you. He

is not going to abandon you.He is going to protect you. We
see his presence, We see hisprotation. Toddly, we see his providence.
In the book of ur Chater Hintin first ten, especially the last

of Calling. The pop didn't see. All that Pope could sing with his

natural eyes were the perfassion of thepeople of callings. All pop who observe
was their immoralities. All that Popecould see was their decadents culture. Paul
saw all the difficulties, He sawall the hard hearts. But God looked
beneath. God looked beyond that.And God saw something in the art of

something in those arts. He sawthe loneliness of the people. He saw
something that expressed the loneliness of thesepeople. God saw broken people. God
saw hurting people, and God soneedy people. Is so the people who

gospel. God saw people that wereready to be saved, my friend.
From today, we need to rememberthat God see things differently than we do.
When we look around the city thatwe are living today, we may
see the city that seems to livefor pleasure and live for entertainment. But

God see a multitude of people whoare hurting, who are broken, who
are needy, and we are readyto be saved. God sees a multitude
of people who have hit the war, whose back are already behind the wall,
They are at the end of theirrobe, their families are falling apart,
their marriages are falling apart, theirchildren are going away, and their

Gospel is their only hope. Thatis why God saw the people who are
going to be yes of the Kingdom. And God said to Paul, I
have many people in this city.They had believe in me yet, but
they are still going to believe inme. Don't give up. There were
some people in that city who werenot saved, but they were still going
to be saved. God sees beyondwhat we could see. Erastus was one

of them. It was the citytreasurer. He was going to get saved.
There was another one named Stephan Noursewho was going to get saved,
another one named Kavas who was goingto get saved. Another one gave Us,
who was going to geest saved.He was going to listen to the
ministry of Paul in the city ofCorinth, and he was going to know

Christ as his Lord and his severe. We read all about that in the
Book of Face and Second Corinthians.This is the sovereignty of God. This
is the way the Lord works.The Lord says to Paul, you have
no idea of how many people Ihave on my side. In this city.
That's why the Mabels says in theBook of Second Timotive, Chapter two,

(17:57):
Phase nineteen, that the Lord knowsthose who worries. As we look
around this community, as we lookaround the city where God has planted us,
what do we see. We seea lot of things that troubles us.
And God sees a lot of peoplethat I hear that we need to
save, that we need to goout and find that we need to go

(18:19):
out and share the purspel with theworld of God. To poor, says,
you have no idea of how manypeople I have on my side in
this city. And I believe Godis saying to us today, is saying
to you, and is saying tome, I have some folks out today
that you don't even know about.I have so many people around this place

(18:41):
that you don't know yet. Theydon't believe on me now, but there's
he going to believe on me oneday they are going to be saved.
So you may be wondering, then, what does that do for us?
What is our responsibility in all ofthat? What is my personal responsibility?
He doesn't change eating we are stillresponsible for them. God want us to

go out as she had the possiblewith them. He wants us to go
out and love them and lead themto their life change in Christ. He
hears so many people in this city, So we see Paul sacostas. Finally,
I want to close with this numberfour. We see Paul's perseverence.
We see Paul's perseverings. Look atface eleven. The Bible made us to

know that he stayed a year andsix months teaching the world of God among

them. Paul just kept teaching.Paul remained faithful. He kept looking every
way, He kept going every way, teaching the world of God, leaving

out what he believed. That iswhat we are supposed to be doing today
as the church. As we lookaround and we see things become more broken,
we see them every day the moralityof our community increases. What are
we going to do about this?We must remain faithful. That is our
purpose. We are part of God'sKingdom's work and he has the people that

he wants us to reach out andsay, I believe today the greatest comfort
is here to be saved. Ibelieve that the greatest comfort is here to
be saved. I want you toknow that the most remarkable conversial experience is
just ahead of us. We needto try our best to find some of

(20:37):
the lost people. We must doeverything we know to do in order to
find them and bring them back intothe Kingdom. That is why I preach.
That is why I teach the worldof God. That is why you
must preach. And that is whyyou must be teaching the world of God.
That is God's feel of mission.That is God's feel of the world.

(20:57):
Is kingdom most replainness, His kingdommust increase. Now, let me
ask you this question right now.Is there any area where you feel like
giving No, Is there any aspectof your life where you feel like He
doesn't worth it? You just haveto give up, my friend, don't
give up. These are the fourpowerful ways to be motivated without giving her.

From today, I wanted to actupon the fate and the truth of
the world of God and be motivatedand never give up. Act upon the
faith in the truth of God's world, and quit living by your feeling.
Live by the promises that God hasmade. Remember, God has promised you
he will never ever abandon you,and it will work with you through the

darkest times of your life, andit will use you to build this Kingdom.
