Texas Longhorns once again put a whooping out on the
uh Oklahoma Sooners yesterday in the Cotton Bowl. What are
your thoughts on the longhorns big win coming out of Dallas.

I was surprised, but not surprised because the defense does
hold true the end of theod We have a d
good defense. Very happy with the with the game arch had,
you know Ti Trey Wisner. Yes, Weisner showed up a
little bit. Good to see that go off again.

Don't tell my boss, but I was highly unproductive yesterday
between the hours of two thirty and six. So yes,
very happy with the result. Surprised, but again not surprised.

thirty and six yesterday afternoon. You know, it's always a
big game, man, obviously one of the biggest games on
the schedule, not only for Texas in Oklahoma, but for
college football itself. Your thoughts, as you know, stuff started

coming out yesterday after the game that Oklahoma hasn't scored
a touchdown in three out of the last four games
that they've played. So to put that in perspective, they
lost forty nine zero, then they won I believe it
was thirty eight or thirty four to twenty eight or
something like that. Then they lose. Last year they only

scored three points. This year, they only scored six points.
I mean, I understand you're saying that the Longhorns have
a great defense and the they stayed true to form,
But what are your thoughts on on that aspect of it?
Of what many thought at one time a high power
in Oklahoma de offense suddenly can't get out of their

own way and get points on the board. Your thoughts
on how that played out and them only having nine
points total in those three games.

I mean, there's not much more to say than the defense, really,
the defense that Texas has. Also the last year, I
know they didn't have a true quarterback playing. If I
remember correctly, I think he got injured and they were
like I think they were down like the wide receiver
to play quarterback.

I don't remember exactly, But I mean, as a Texas fan,
you'd love to see it. As a Texas fan, you
love to see a love will lose every single year
to us, and it feels like that the momentum is
shifting over to us. But I don't I don't know

about the another three points. I didn't know. I didn't
know that they have was scored a touchdown.

The last three games, three out of the last four.

Yeah, the other three out of the last four. That's
pretty crazy.

And I guess, I guess if you're an Oklahoma fan,
it's gotten better because it was forty nine zero that

getting better. But you look at it from that point,
you know, they're they're going upwards in the in the scoring.
But yeah, I mean, you know, it's just it's it's
a weird thing. I know Texas struggled for years with Oklahoma,

especially there in the early to mid two thousands, you know,
but I don't remember them having stretches like this where
you know, they weren't scoring, you know, at least seventeen
to twenty points in that game. I know there was
a few blowouts in between, but I mean, my gosh,
you couldn't even get a touchdown. And you're right, Oklahoma

had a bad quarterback issue last year. They bring in
this this guy from the transfer portal, Matier, and yes,
I understand that he was hurt at some point. I
think he had surgery on his thumb.

And people are gonna say, people are gonna.

Say that that was that was part of the reason
that he didn't play well, and and this and the other.
He came out and said that he was fine physically,
the thumb tested fine. Uh, it was just he couldn't
find a rhythm. He couldn't get comfortable. The Texas defense,
you know, was really in his face for the majority
of that game outside of the first drive. Honestly, I mean,

he didn't do anything after that. They they figured him out,
They clamped him down. As Cody and I were talking
yesterday watching that game, you know, Cody even said, you
gotta look back at this guy's history. He struggled at
Washington State when he played against some better and elite
teams and defenses that you know, could get after the quarterback.

And that's what he faced here.

He faced that type of pressure from a very good
Texas defense.

He talked about Arch a little bit.

Obviously, it's well documented his struggles this season. He's had
moments where he looked lost, he looked misguided. Yesterday, he
looked much more comfortable. Your thoughts on where he could
go from here, you know, do you feel like he
can build off of this when the stats weren't eye popping,

You know, he only threw fo one hundred and sixty
six yards and a touchdown. But I mean, do you
think that a game like this and that high pressure
stakes of a game and him playing that well, do
you think this will help springboard him into a better
second half of the season and get him more comfortable
with being the starting quarterback at the University of Texas.

I think so.

I was. I was reading a whole bunch of stuff
coming up to the game this week.

Sarka was just wanting to to just have fun. He's like,
forget the pressure, and the pressure is always gonna be there. One,
your last name is what it is, and two you're
playing for the University of Texas flagship program for football,
so the pressure is gonna be there no matter your
last name. And I think he just needs to have fun.

I feel I feel like yesterday, I mean, you saw him,
you know, after a big play, he was just being himself,
you know, and jumping a silly was with the teamates
that this big celebration. I think, yes, he was just
having fun. And I think that's what He's realized that
the pressure is always gonna be there. Just just do
what you do and and just have fun. With your friends,

you know, as silly as it sounds, but yeah, I
think I think this is gonna springboard him and to
the more more success they're at the position. And I
just really.

Didn't looking forward to it, you know, And I think,
you know, he was beaten down so much. Obviously, he
didn't play well against Ohio State. He struggled last week
against Florida, which, by the way, Florida, thanks for letting
me down and not freaking taking care of business against
A and M. But you know, struggled in that environment,

struggled on that field. Yesterday, he looked much more calm,
much more in tune with what was happening, what was
going on. And I think the offensive line played better yesterday.
They weren't great by any stretch. There were still way
too many times where the defense was in Arch's lap,
but they were able to open some holes. And you

said it there at the beginning, you know, Weisner showed up.
Weisner got after it, had a big game yesterday, ninety
four yards.

I want to say, he had a.

Couple of receptions for about forty forty five yards, you know,
So I think that did help a lot. And you know,
we talked about it earlier. It doesn't matter what level
of play you're doing football. If you can't protect your
quarterback and you can't run the ball, you're not gonna

have much success. And that's exactly what happened with Texas
in some of these games that they struggled in this year.
They can't run the ball, they couldn't protect Arch, and
the offense has struggled. When he's had time to move
in the pocket, when he's had time to be able
to get things out of the ball out of his hand,
it's helped him tremendously and it's made a big difference.

So hopefully start this week will get them ready to go,
have them ready to get after it on Sunday, sorry
on Saturday, and take care of business.

the happiest is the fact that this coach is who
they beat and Brent Vinnables was a pain in mac
Brown's ass for a long time when he was helping
Bob Stoops win this rivalry.

And the fact that Texas.

Has beaten him his teams three out of the last
four years and have done it in such convincing fashions
in each game, that makes.

they did.

They came in with much value who they did, have
the stats, so to speak, to back up what people

and in such a way that I'm happy. I know
you're happy. There's a lot of Longhorn fans happy out there,

Hell of Glow two and oh yes, and it's Aggie football,
It's Texas tech Raider football, it's Texas Longhorns being oh
you football time again.

Yeah, man, it's been a it's a great It was
a great weekend for the state of Texas all the
way around. The top programs and even some of the
lower tier programs got some big wins this weekend. You know,
obviously for me, Big one in Dallas, Cotton Bowl, State Fair,
Big text looking over everything and everybody, corny dogs, all

kinds of foolishness happening there. The split right down the middle,
fifty to fifty one side Ou one side Texas. There's
to me, there's no greater atmosphere than that, right, Having
the two biggest ride in a stadium like that, split
the way that it is, I think that's kind of
an awesome thing to see.

It would be an awesome thing to experience.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Shout out to my son who was fortunate enough to
get a ticket to the game on Saturday. His best
friend Gabby and her husband gifted him a birthday gift early,
so he got to experience Texas OU first hand for
the first time.

And he said it was it was unbelievable. He was
he totally enjoyed it. He's not a big not a
big football guy. Uh, but he said that that was
that was awesome. That was a great experience, and of
course Texas getting the win made it that much better.

But yeah, the Longhorns dominated dude, close game early on
six to three. Going into halftime, Texas came out, took
control of that game, dominated Ou up front, the defensive
line came to life.

Put put John Mattier, the much ballyhooed OU quarterback, in
a box, locked that box, threw it in another box,
locked that box, through it in another box, locked that
box through that bitch in a river, and watched it
float down back up to Oklahoma. Because that dude could
not do nothing against that Longhorn defense. The running game

for the Longhorns got going. Weisner looked awesome, had some
big explosive plays and of course, like I told you
right before we started.

I was about to call him Peyton arch Manning.

Arch Manning really looked great at times on Saturday. Didn't
do anything great, right, Like, he wasn't great, but he
was very much more relaxed. He looked like he was
having a lot of fun, and he got after it
a couple of times on Saturday. Of course, the moment,
the moment of the weekend for me and a lot
of Texas fans.

Big twenty plus yard run there to seal the games,
slides down to run the clock down, and as he
gets back up and walks back to the huddle, he's
waving at the crowd as the ou crowd started to
fill funnel their way out of.

So, you know, I know, I know, I got some
shit from some friends because he I posted that video
of him waving and I was like, that's my quarterback,
and I got a lot of shit from that.

on the right side of the win column this week.
Big win for them, knocking off the number six team
in the country at the time. Uh So, still gives
them a shot. I know it still seems slim compared
to what it was a few weeks ago, but still
gives them a shot at doing something and getting into

Yeah, I know you said that he got a chance

No, We've I've been. I've been up there. I've been
up there a couple of times for that weekend. And
that in itself is crazy enough as it is. And
we had hoped to go in twenty twenty, like we'd
already kind of like figured out what we were going
to do, Me, Belinda, Cody, we'd already kind of figured

out what we're gonna do, how we're gonna do it.
And then COVID happened, and that that changed a lot
of plans for a lot of people obviously. So No,
it was funny because when I was talking, when I
was talking to Ronald the other day, He's like, Dad,
he goes, I've never screamed like that at a football game.
Before you know, he goes it was so awesome. He's like,

I channeled my inner you, and I was like, yeah,
I could only imagine. So yeah, definitely definitely one of
those things. It's still on my bucket list, dude, other
than maybe like Texas playing for the National championship. That
maybe the only other thing that's on my bucket list
that I still want to.

Get to as well, like in the stadium.

But if there's one game, if there's one game on
my bucket list that I want to see, it's it's
that game, you.

I mean a highly ranked team and Texas just just
took snatch it from him.

That was a game that was not just you needed.
You wanted it obviously, but you needed that game to
be you know, continue on and getting closer and closer
to that Dirty dozen we always talked about. But that
was a pivotal, gotta win, must have game. Not only

And not only did Texas step up and rise to dacation, man,

Going to games at Alamo Stadium, and you know, you
had to keep you had to keep certain fan bases
away from each other. Obviously, one of the greatest high
school football rivalries there was, you know, going up until about,
you know, fifteen years ago, was was teching Lanear the
Chili Bowl, the annual grudge match at the end of
the season, and there's a fence and a gate and

a wall separating the two sides, the home side from
the visitor side. And you know, so I think, I think,
you know, you kind of have those types of things,
and you think, well, that's just normal when you have
two heated rivals.

And then you see the stadium there at.

The Cotton Bowl and they don't have that, and you're like,
oh man, that's that's a much bigger stage.

That's that's a much rowdier crowd.

And you know, they may want to consider that, But
I've never heard of any kind of like real foolishness.
I mean, I'm not saying that there's not fights, because
I'm sure there are, but I don't know that I've
ever really heard of any kind of foolishness. And one
of the other reasons why I don't think they have
that game at night is I don't know how well
you know Dallas, but where the Cotton Bowl is located,

Best neighborhood in Dallas.

So I could see why they wouldn't want to have
that game at night because there are you go in
either direction around the State Fairgrounds and outside of the
Cotton Bowl there there's some sketchy area around that place, dude,
let me tell you. So, I think part of it
is that it is just the fact that they also
know the crowd would be huge, because you know that

crowd on Saturday is already big enough, and then you've
got sixty seventy eighty thousand people going to the game,
plus the people at the fair. I mean, they would
be a nightmare, I'm sure if they had that at night.
So but it's still a fun game, dude. Again, I'm
excited the Longhorns won. It gives them a chance to
stay in the thick of things and we'll see.

kept the game close there until probably the late third

Man, oh man, I was so fucking glad they finally
got this, this team's number, you know, the last past

had gone to the Florida, they had gone to the
swamp and they just got their asses handed to him
a few years back.

Texas that game. All eyes are going to be on

a touchdown in three out of the last four games
that they've played. So to put that in perspective, they
lost forty nine zero, then they won I believe it

scored three points. This year, they only scored six points.
I mean, I understand you're saying that the Longhorns have
a great defense and the they stayed true to form,
But what are your thoughts on on that aspect of it?
Of what many thought at one time a high power
in Oklahoma de offense suddenly can't get out of their

on how that played out and them only having nine
points total in those three games.

I mean, there's not much more to say than the defense, really,
the defense that Texas has. Also the last year, I
know they didn't have a true quarterback playing. If I
remember correctly, I think he got injured and they were
like I think they were down like the wide receiver
to play quarterback.

I don't remember exactly, But I mean, as a Texas fan,
you'd love to see it. As a Texas fan, you
love to see a love will lose every single year
to us, and it feels like that the momentum is

know that they have was scored a touchdown.

getting better. But you look at it from that point,

a weird thing. I know Texas struggled for years with Oklahoma,

especially there in the early to mid two thousands, you know,
but I don't remember them having stretches like this where
you know, they weren't scoring, you know, at least seventeen
to twenty points in that game. I know there was
a few blowouts in between, but I mean, my gosh,
you couldn't even get a touchdown. And you're right, Oklahoma

had a bad quarterback issue last year. They bring in
this this guy from the transfer portal, Matier, and yes,
I understand that he was hurt at some point. I
think he had surgery on his thumb.

And people are gonna say, people are gonna.

Say that that was that was part of the reason
that he didn't play well, and and this and the other.
He came out and said that he was fine physically,
the thumb tested fine. Uh, it was just he couldn't
find a rhythm. He couldn't get comfortable. The Texas defense,
you know, was really in his face for the majority
of that game outside of the first drive. Honestly, I mean,

he didn't do anything after that. They they figured him out,
They clamped him down. As Cody and I were talking
yesterday watching that game, you know, Cody even said, you
gotta look back at this guy's history. He struggled at
Washington State when he played against some better and elite
teams and defenses that you know, could get after the quarterback.

And that's what he faced here.

He faced that type of pressure from a very good
Texas defense.

He talked about Arch a little bit.

Obviously, it's well documented his struggles this season. He's had
moments where he looked lost, he looked misguided. Yesterday, he
looked much more comfortable. Your thoughts on where he could
go from here, you know, do you feel like he
can build off of this when the stats weren't eye popping,

six yards and a touchdown. But I mean, do you
think that a game like this and that high pressure
stakes of a game and him playing that well, do
you think this will help springboard him into a better
second half of the season and get him more comfortable
with being the starting quarterback at the University of Texas.

so the pressure is gonna be there no matter your

you know, after a big play, he was just being himself,

going on. And I think the offensive line played better yesterday.
They weren't great by any stretch. There were still way
too many times where the defense was in Arch's lap,

Weisner got after it, had a big game yesterday, ninety
four yards.

of play you're doing football. If you can't protect your

in some of these games that they struggled in this year.
They can't run the ball, they couldn't protect Arch, and
the offense has struggled. When he's had time to move
in the pocket, when he's had time to be able
to get things out of the ball out of his hand,
it's helped him tremendously and it's made a big difference.

way around. The top programs and even some of the
lower tier programs got some big wins this weekend. You know,
obviously for me, Big one in Dallas, Cotton Bowl, State Fair,
Big text looking over everything and everybody, corny dogs, all

kinds of foolishness happening there. The split right down the middle,
fifty to fifty one side Ou one side Texas. There's
to me, there's no greater atmosphere than that, right, Having
the two biggest ride in a stadium like that, split
the way that it is, I think that's kind of
an awesome thing to see.

Shout out to my son who was fortunate enough to
get a ticket to the game on Saturday. His best
friend Gabby and her husband gifted him a birthday gift early,
so he got to experience Texas OU first hand for

And he said it was it was unbelievable. He was
he totally enjoyed it. He's not a big not a
big football guy. Uh, but he said that that was
that was awesome. That was a great experience, and of

But yeah, the Longhorns dominated dude, close game early on
six to three. Going into halftime, Texas came out, took
control of that game, dominated Ou up front, the defensive
line came to life.

Put put John Mattier, the much ballyhooed OU quarterback, in
a box, locked that box, threw it in another box,
locked that box, through it in another box, locked that
box through that bitch in a river, and watched it

for the Longhorns got going. Weisner looked awesome, had some
big explosive plays and of course, like I told you
right before we started.

Arch Manning really looked great at times on Saturday. Didn't

had to keep you had to keep certain fan bases

Chili Bowl, the annual grudge match at the end of
the season, and there's a fence and a gate and

a wall separating the two sides, the home side from
the visitor side. And you know, so I think, I think,
you know, you kind of have those types of things,
and you think, well, that's just normal when you have
two heated rivals.

And then you see the stadium there at.

The Cotton Bowl and they don't have that, and you're like,
oh man, that's that's a much bigger stage.

I've never heard of any kind of like real foolishness.
I mean, I'm not saying that there's not fights, because

of the other reasons why I don't think they have
that game at night is I don't know how well
you know Dallas, but where the Cotton Bowl is located,

So I could see why they wouldn't want to have
that game at night because there are you go in
either direction around the State Fairgrounds and outside of the

is that it is just the fact that they also

crowd on Saturday is already big enough, and then you've
got sixty seventy eighty thousand people going to the game,
plus the people at the fair. I mean, they would

So but it's still a fun game, dude. Again, I'm
excited the Longhorns won. It gives them a chance to
stay in the thick of things and we'll see.

truly truly on the top contenders. I think now for
that Heisman, now will he get it? I don't know,

I predicted them losing the Notre Dame and then you know,

the Aggies were never out of it. They just you know,

we're battling. At the beginning, they took the lead and
I think they taught the Gators tied it, and then
I think they just didn't look back from there, you know,
they just the second half was just there's it was
tail of two halves.

Clashing happened in the first half with both teams trying
to establish what they wanted. But once the Aggies, you know,

But I still think A and M is gonna pull
that out. Hey man, the other big program in the
state has got all the way up now to number seven.
I'm still not a fan. I still don't like them,
but I gotta give them credit. The Red Raiders, Dude,
they're the number seven team in the nation right now,

and you know they they just punked a pretty talented
but not great Kansas team. You know, beat them pretty
decisively they're in Lubbock. The talk coming out of that
game was more about the tortillas that were being thrown
on the field and the fines and the penalties, and
you know, it's it's it's a it's a whole thing.

It's a whole thing. Uh.

You know that that's happening with that. But you know,
when you look at when you look at Texas Tech,
you know they seem to be a pretty well rounded team.
Good quarterback play, strong running game, defense is really solid.
I don't know if you've got to see any of
their games at all this year, maybe the Utah game.

I think I have been your thoughts, your thoughts on
the Red Raiders, and I thought this next game was
going to be there. They're one of their toughest on
the schedule, having to go to Arizona State, Arizona State
being the defending Big Twelve champions. Arizona State hasn't quite
lived up to the hype. So I don't know what

this game is going to be on Saturday just yet.
But your thoughts on Texas Tech man and how they've
looked so far this season and where they're headed.

Okay, the first thing I want to mention is that
damn run game dude.

Man to bring down the quarterback as well. Man, he's
They've they've got this kind of RPO thing going. And
you know, when you and I think of Texas Tech
and right, and don't tell me that this isn't true
in your mind. Whenever you think Texas Tech, what do
you think of you know, you think of man then
just going out there slinging the ball scoring a shit
ton of points, right, That is not what I see

when I watch this team. This team is very balanced
on both sides of the ball. The defense man just
kind of also, you know, made the day as well,
from what I've seen in the last two or three
games that I've been kind of not just closely watching,
but you know, just kind of getting information and seeing,
you know, kind of in game real time how this

team operates.
Speaker 4 (35:54):
And dude, are. They are a force to be reckoning with.
Speaker 5 (35:58):
I mean, I think they're the best team in the.

Big twelve, and no doubt, obviously they're undefeated. But that's
no easy task, you know, you you uh.

You're undefeated, and you're right, Kansas, I mean, what are
they known for, bro, I mean, they're known for what basketball?
Speaker 2 (36:13):
You know?
Speaker 4 (36:14):
Yeah, and but but.
Speaker 5 (36:16):
That doesn't that doesn't mean that that Texas Tech just said, Hey,
we're gonna come out.
Speaker 4 (36:20):
Here, We're gonna whoop you.
Speaker 5 (36:22):
I think it was eighteen to zero in the first quarter.
Then then the uh, the Jayhawks made a game of it.
Right before half, I think they got seventeen and then
it was seventeen something right at half, and I thought, okay,
let's just see what what Texas Tech is made of.
And dude, they went into halftime and came back out
(36:43):
and the defense was just flying everywhere.
Speaker 4 (36:45):
And that's an That's another thing.
Speaker 5 (36:47):
I got to check the rankings on excuse me where
their defense is at, because man, they make turnovers, they
get sacks, they they they they make tackles.
Speaker 4 (36:58):
On the running back behind the line scrimmage.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
I mean, it's just constant just winning at the line
on both sides because that offensive line open ups whole
opens up holes. And I mean Dicky is gone, bro,
He's not just getting five, three or four yards, you know,
and then you know, no, he's like a cloud of dust.
Speaker 4 (37:16):
Man. He's gone, and he's got speed and power.
Speaker 5 (37:19):
I mean, you cannot you cannot argue that that that's
not not there. And and they're a fun team to
watch because to me, the remind me of like the
old you know, I guess the old.
Speaker 4 (37:31):
Southwest Conference or something like that. Just balanced football teams.
Speaker 5 (37:34):
You know, man, a quarterback that you know, throws what
he needs to a running back that you're running back
first type offense, and you're making the plays, you're moving
the chains, you're getting points, and I mean it was
just an ass whipping. It got kind of boring to
watch because the defense was just flying everywhere.
Speaker 4 (37:53):
But it's a good thing to have.
Speaker 5 (37:55):
I think in the state of Texas where you got
thretty strong relevant you know, college football teams, they got
a chance to get into the mix and get into
that duty doesn't. And I'm crossing my fingers and I
hope that it happens.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
Yeah, man, you know again, I still have hope that
we can get three teams in the playoff. I think
that would be exciting for the state. I think it
would speak volumes for the state of Texas if we
could get three teams. Obviously, inn M and Tech look
like they're much better positions to get there than Texas
right now. But it'll be interesting, dude. And you're right, dude,

Texas Tech has played unbelievable. You know, they are probably
one of the more well rounded teams in the nation.
And I mean, let's be honest, dude, the Big twelve
hasn't been as strong as people thought it might be
to hope in the season.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
But that doesn't mean that they're weak either.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
You know, they did beat a very good Utah team
on the road in Utah, you know, a few weeks
ago to Star Conference play. But at the end of
the day, man, they're not They're not a fluke. You know,
this team's for real and they you got to be ready.
You got to be ready to play them because they're
gonna come for you one way or another, dude. Real quick, Utsa,

I mean blew the doors off of Rice sixty one
to ten of most points by a UTSA team. They
broke all kinds of records. This past Saturday. It was
a great win. They needed to feel good again, get
on the winning side. I don't know, what is there
a record right now? You know us? Are they three

and three? Four and three?
Speaker 2 (39:37):
What are they? Let's just say, uh uh whatever.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
You know, technology is great until it's slow as hell.
They're three, Keep keep talking.

They're three and three, three and three on the season.

You know, still still a chance to get three more wins,
get get into another Bowl game this year.

So it's not not the end of the world. You know.

The way that they've played has been kind of up
and down. Still some transitions going there. I still think
that there there could be some tough coaching decisions to
be made on this staff. Offensively, they've been very inconsistent. Defensively,
they struggled mightily. There was a couple of games there

that I looked and I thought, Man, is Matt Everfluse
freaking coaching Utsa's defense too, because shit, they looked like
the Cowboys. Uh So, yeah, there could be some tough
decisions coming for coach Trailer.

They are traveling up north into North Texas to go play.

North Texas U n T. They're in Denton.

North Texas is five and one right now, one in
one in conference play, just like UTSA. So this could
be a big win and a because it could be
a heartbreaking loss. I mean, you just you just don't
know at this point because UTSA, in all honesty, has
been pretty inconsistent throughout the year. Your thoughts on UTSA
and how they may look this weekend.

Well, then I think this is a really tough stretch
for them, not just with North Texas, but then it's
two Lane after that, it's it's it's South Florida, man.
And I mean, these are all tough games, you know,
But North Texas to.

Me, I think is starting to waver a little. It.

You know, there's still a strong team, you know, but again,
I don't think UTSA has the bullets, you know. I'm
just foal flabbergascid that they handle league, just kicked Rice's
ass the way they did, because I thought that there's
just no way that they're gonna, you know, get a
victory there, but that, you know, boy, that they show
me wrong. And I'm just thankful that they're on the winning,

The coach is keeping that that that mentality right. You know,
we've met him before. I mean, he can coach, bro,

And and let's not discount him. I think if they
do win this North Texas game, it's because of him.

Man, I don't know what's gonna happen there because we
all know what South Florida did at the beginning of
the season. And it's gonna be fun to watch, man,

big matchup also this weekend up around the North Texas
north Central Texas area. Baylor versus TCU. That's always a

fun game. Uh, They've had some classics in the past.
Neither team is great, neither team is doing anything special. Uh,
but you know, it could be an entertaining game. You
never know what you're gonna get when you get those
two schools together. There could be some fireworks, man, could
be high scoring. Maybe not a lot of defense played
in this one, so that could be interesting.

But dude, overall, the health of football in the state
of Texas at the college leve is tremendous right now,
and it's only going to continue to get better because
a lot of these high school programs across the state,
especially up in North Texas, especially in Austin in the Houston,
the Beast Texas as they call it, area out east,

and San Antonio has got some good competition too, man,
that their programs are starting to, you know, become some
solid programs in the state as well. I mean, there's
just so much talent in this state, dude. And like
I said, if there's a chance to get three teams
from the state of Texas into the damn Playoff, that
will speak volumes for the programs in this state. And
(44:40):
it would be awesome to see that happen. So I
can't wait to see what these next few weeks are
going to be, Like you knows as excited as I am,
like you, man to see what that A and M
Texas game is going to be at the end of
the year. I don't want to get it. I don't
want it to be here too fast, because that means
that that's the last regular season and game of the

season and then that season is over sorely thereafter. So
I don't I don't need it to get here too quickly.
Just take his time and let it, let it kind
of marinate in simmer and and we'll get there when
we get there.
