be pumped up, and they're gonna be ready to try
to chomp on some long Horns, but I just don't
know if they have enough to do that. What are

They ran up and down the field. Uh. Arch Manning
looks sctacular. He looks good compared to what he's been
looking the last couple of weeks. Folks, he looked spectacular

they came into the fine on a hot hand. They
got a good week's risk. I've heard rumors around the

few games are grueling. I think it's what they it's
Uh it's this week against Florida and then I think
the next week against Oklahoma or maybe the week after that.

gonna be fun to watch the play and uh man,
it's SDC football starting of the new season.

State is not on the level of Florida or any
of the teams in the SEC, but nonetheless, the long

took care of business. And you know, even though Arch
did a little bit of foolishness with the stare down
and all that other shit that people were talking, you
know what, he needed a game like that.

teams that he does root for is Miami. And the

he wouldn't be a Miami fan. So so you know,
you can only play who's on your schedule.

they took care of business doing it, and they looked
really good and I was really excited for them. So
that's my next point, man, because again people have been
very critical about Art and his play, and you know,

been good at times. We're not here to you know,
sugarcoat nothing. We're not here to suck up to Arch Manning.
We ain't getting paid from the Manning family. We don't
get no T shirts from the Manning of Passing Academy.
So Arch, even though Arch is our quarterback, he is
still eligible for ridicule and criticism from fan Pole Sports,

be RBO where he keeps the football. He goes to
get about ten fifteen yards, so you can stare something down,
hike back and then let's get him uncomfortable getting you

the game two saturdays ago. I think I was in
a quick stream to uh DeAndre More. I need that
again and I'll get him, get him going quick. But
Mynor's opinion, they don't need to hand it up to
a running back. They don't need to be throwing in
deep unless the safeties are up thing and the guys

are outside of one on one, then you throw a deep,
let him throw off his arm. But on his opinion,
you need to get them running the football, get them
comfortable into the game, you know, because it's gonna be
loud the swamp. I don't care what anybody says, what
kind of season they're having. You know, they're gonna back

one hundred thousand in there, and it's gonna be very
very very loud. They're gonna be chomping, and you know
all the stuff that they do out there. Arch just
needs to get in his little groove, get that little swag,
get that little that little hop in his step that
he gets when he's doing when he's playing really good.

He was there two saturdays ago. If he continues buildings
and they can and and start getting going on the
right foot, oh yeah, we can see that guy again.
So that's that's what really needs to happen for arts
to get going, and then he'll start throwing darts like

that's the arts that when you're out there and he's there,
it just he needs that confidence, he needs that little swag,

gonna need to do what they can to keep that

crowd out of that game and not give Florida any hope.

looks like he's questionable for the game. So the Longhorns
are probably gonna go with Gibson and Clark, uh, you know,
to get things moving and then bring in that freshman
like they have the last few weeks. How big of
a how big of a difference is that gonna factor
into what the Longhorns can do on offense, be with

them possibly not having their two best running backs again
to start SEC play.

Running back by committee, go see, That's why they go
out and get four star and fight staring back running
back by committee. One down, the next one steps up.
That's why they're have the stable that they have. That's
why bj Bjang is in the NFL. That's why Roshawn's
in the NFL. That's why you know, jayda'n Blues in
the NFL. You know, that's that's why they're where they're

at is because the stable is there and all they
gotta do is next man up. As far as Gibson
and carkgo, those are some highly talented running back. Yes,
they may not have the experience that Wiser has and
and CJ. You know, even though he just played his

freshman year. You know, he played a lot. You know
that with the nine seventy yards, you know, as a freshman,
you know he he did good. But yeah, man, they're
running back just need to go in there, fill in,
play assignment football. You know, if they got a blunt

you know, the outside end or chiff Chiff on the
outside end, and then you know, any blitzing back or
safety or corner or anything coming in from the outside,
or you know, if Chiff on the outside and then
bounce back into you know, okay, somebody gets free to or
blitzer from the inside or something. Now, then you gotta
play sign of football, play Chris football and hang onto

the freaking pigskin. That's all they gotta do. Head onto
the pig skin. Run, run hard, fall forward, don't fall back,
fall forward, play sign of football. They will be fine.
We have a highly talented group of individuals that play
running back for us, and they're there for a reason.

Yeah, I mean, I agree, Man, if they can get
those three guys going, you know, share, share the rock,
so to speak, you know, get them, get them between
twenty five to forty touches, you know, to keep that
keep that Florida defense on the field, keep that offense
on the sideline. I think that'll help. And then of
course it'll put Arch kind of at ease. Like you said, man,

let him run an RPO, give him an opportunity to
get hit early, kind of settle into that game. I
think a lot of what happens with Arch is that
he gets too hype, he gets too excited about playing,
and I think his emotions. He's still trying to figure
out how to control his emotions and he hasn't quite
learned that yet.

So I think that's part of the problem.

I think that's part of the reason why he's had
a tough time in some of these starts. But on
the road in a hostile environment, you know, I'm not
going to compare Florida and Ohio State crowd wise, But
I'm just gonna say that this environment that he's about
to walk into might be even more hostile than what

he walked into Ohio Stadium. So he has to be
ready for that and keep those emotions in check.

Receivers are almost fully healthy, the main guys are back
in there like they need to be. Do you think
sark is gonna have some wrinkles, some different wrinkles that
we haven't seen yet as he gets ready to open
up this conference conference schedule?

He might. He might throw in something here and there,
but I think he may. He's gonna have He's gonna
say some of that for the for the Oklahoma game,
and I know he's gonna say some of it probably
for the for the Georgia game. He's not gonna show
all his cards. A good a good coach won't show
all his cards. I did like that they land up

big inside the the red zone. That they need to
continue doing that. Uh But cham mancart so start to
seem to call a good game, you know, keep it
balanced as best he can, because uh wow, Florida's offense struggles.
Their defense is, you know, one of the better defenses

in the nation. Uh from what Yeah, the animals have said.
I hadn't seen him on TV or anything like that. Uh,
but you know I was. I was listening to uh
uh an secntcast and they said, you know that Deflorida
defense is pretty stout. So I don't know.

I think I think he'll he'll come out with a
few different wrinkles.

But like you say, he's still got some big, big,
big matchups.

It looks like Broski Weather might play a factor in
this thing. A fort chance of rain, which in Florida
means that it's probably closer to eighty percent because it's
always raining somewhere in Florida.

Uh So again and the guy that kind of goes
back to what we just talked about.

Man, that long Horns running game is gonna have to
play a big factor in this thing to keep that
offense on the field and keep that ball moving. Sarkisian
seems to think that they'll be okay because they practice
with wet footballs anyway, so we'll see how that goes.
But the good thing is the long Horns are racking

up about two hundred yards a game. They're averaging about
five yards of carry, so that that could benefit them,
even though to their credit, this Florida defense is still
a very good Florida defense. So let's not pretend like
that that side of the ball for the Gators isn't
good and solid, because they certainly are and they certainly

can be. On the flip side, Texas is only giving
up about sixty yards a game, so when you look
at that, that's gonna be huge for the Longhorns to
play good discipline, run defense, and then of course try
to contain Lagway the best they can.

This kid has had his moments where he looks just
as lost as Arch. I'm fearing that they also had
a bye week that maybe they were able to do some.

Well, Broski, I know that he was a consensus number
one quarterback coming out of the class of twenty four
because Arch was twenty three. That was the number one.
So you know we got two number one quarterbacks one
at it. The kid is fast, he can sling it

all over the yard, has a very strong arm. I
think he's pushed out six hundred and ninety yards this
year so far. Uh it's what the ESPN TAT directors said,
and I think he had like another one hundred and
something Russians. Uh So the defensive line, the linebackers, you

know Anthony Hill uh la fail.

They need to make sure that they play assignment football.

it's not it could be a long long day because
this kid, he's a five star uh number one quarterback
and the flash.

So the kid is talented. I don't know exacking how
he measured out at the at the Nike uh thing
there in Oregon, but I'm more sure it was it
was high because I believe he won it. So yeah, Broski,
it's he's a highly talented kid blank quarterback for the Flortigators.

He had got six hundred and ninety yards this season
with five touchdowns six interceptions. He's got a QBR of
about forty six point nine, which puts him at ninety two.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Uh, the best quarterback in the in the in the.

United States, which isn't really anything to write home about.
But those six turnovers, man, those six interceptions, you know,
that tells me that one of two things. Either one,
he's not getting protected, so he's getting rushed and so
he's probably trying to make some throws that he shouldn't.

Or two he's not comfortable yet reading coverages and that's
why they're you know, these teams are able to scheme
certain ways to be able to make those picks. So
it'll be very interesting to see how PK you know,
approaches this. Like you said, those those defenders, especially on

that defensive line, they're gonna have to stay disciplined. They're
they're gonna have to keep they're gonna have to keep them,
they're gonna.

Have to keep them from you know, over rushing, so
to speak.

They're gonna have to stay maintained their visual uh look
on him, and they're gonna have to maintain their rush
lanes so he doesn't step up in the pocket and
take off running because him too.

Man, he's got some legs on him. He could make
some big plays.

Like I said before, dude, this this defense, the offense
has struggled. The offense has struggled mightily uh this season
for Florida. I hope it continues on Saturday. But their
defense is one of the better defenses in the SEC,
and probably amongst the top twenty defenses in the country.

anybody that stands out to you.

Yeah, yeah, bro. See his name is Miles Graham. He's
a sophomore from Gainesville, Florida, standing at six eight. That's
their hob. That's their Anthony Hill. That's their linebacker that's
out there, you know, getting tackles, you know, doing everything

for him, you know. So that's that's that's their linebacker.
He's a stud, you know, he's he's good. They got
a few a few edge rushers, they got a few sacks.
You know, they're they're in there, you know. Uh. But yeah,
I mean they got they got good kids. They got
a uh uh Sharif Dentson. You know, he's a he's

a defensive back in one of their corners. You know,
he's he's playing good. He's tackling, you know, he's you know,
he's coming up and making the tackle. I don't know
how how sure he is on the tackling, but I know,
and up to this point, you know, he's up he's
up there, up there and tackles, you know, And they

got you know, big defensive linemen up front. You know,
Brandon bet three hundred and eight pounds, you know, big
defensive tackles six five. You know, that's a big dude
right there. Three hundred and eight pounds. That's that's that's
that's a massive amount of weight to move around. So

our our guys have to win up in the trenches.
But as far as I got, as far as I
see man that you know they got they got a
pretty decent rust. Russler and Tariff sat uh. They were
talking about him on the uh on that SEC segment.
You know that that if he gets going, you know
it's it's a good thing for him. You know, he's

gonna be a high draft pick.

Yeah. So, I mean their their defense is you know,
like like you said, Brosk, they're one of the better
ones in the in the country right now. And it's
because you know, all of these guys they're go out
there and playing ball, you know that are you know,
making these tackles, you know, make making you know. Uh So. Yeah.
As far as interceptions, uh, you know, Johnson has one.

I think McClain McLain, he's a starting safety has one.
Uh So they got to two takeaways from from that.
They got on the sack there they're bobbed up, you know,
as a team total, they've have three. But don't don't
let that for you man. There they are. There's a man,

they're solid defense. Yeah, but those are the ones to
stand out man.

Yeah. Man, I mean they do. They have talent.

I mean again, they were able to recruit four and
five star talent to come play on that defense as well.
Texas was in a mix for some of their guys. So,
I mean this is this defense is no joke. And
you know, as well as I do Broski, a lot
of these teams, especially on the defensive side, always seem
to play better at home.

In front of the home crowd.

They have that one guy that'll come out of nowhere
and make a big play, cause a turnover, have a
big hit, have a big sack, get the crowd hyped.
Texas has to be very very leary of that to
make sure they keep that defense on their heels, so
to speak, and not let them get into attack mode,
because if they do, that's going to cause problems for

this longhorn offense. I'm looking at a review here, man.
They're saying that this defense is a strong unit, a
rare bright spot for this team that has a struggling offense,
but one that can generate more turnovers to help this
team get along. So you know, they haven't created a
lot of turnovers to this point, but all they need

is that one game for things to turn and that
to happen. I've seen a lot of different things. I've
listened to a lot of different things the last few days.
People are kind of on the fence about which way
they want to go. They know Texas on paper, is
probably the better team, but they also understand Florida.

Florida could get going, and they could.

They could get this thing going in the right direction
really quick with a big outing or a big win
against the Longhorns. Man, So you know, this is a
scary game for the Horns. Hopefully nobody's looking forward to
next Saturday that everything is concentrated on Florida because they're
gonna need that focus. They're gonna needed that that type

of you know, straight ahead thing that you have to
have when you get into these types of settings of
playing these top notch teams. This isn't the Big Twelve anymore.
You can't overlook anybody. You have to be ready to
go each and every week. So I think I think
this is a good matchup for Texas. I think it

helps them to get settled in to get ready for
this long conference season because, like you said, Oklahoma next week,
Vanderbilt in a few weeks, you got Georgia down the line.
You have Arkansas who's now got a new coach, you know,
Patrino taking over there for Pittman. I don't like Patrino,

but you never know what he could do. Man fresh
fresh person, different voice in the locker room could inspire
that team. And then of course A and M who's
played very well this season as well. So I mean,
there's a lot of stuff ahead of Texas, but the
their concentration needs to be on Saturday in the Swamp

Mynor's opinion, they don't need to hand it up to
a running back. They don't need to be throwing in

let him throw off his arm. But on his opinion,
you need to get them running the football, get them
comfortable into the game, you know, because it's gonna be
loud the swamp. I don't care what anybody says, what

very very loud. They're gonna be chomping, and you know
all the stuff that they do out there. Arch just
needs to get in his little groove, get that little swag,

them possibly not having their two best running backs again

out and get four star and fight staring back running

That's why they're have the stable that they have. That's
why bj Bjang is in the NFL. That's why Roshawn's
in the NFL. That's why you know, jayda'n Blues in
the NFL. You know, that's that's why they're where they're

at is because the stable is there and all they
gotta do is next man up. As far as Gibson
and carkgo, those are some highly talented running back. Yes,
they may not have the experience that Wiser has and
and CJ. You know, even though he just played his

freshman year. You know, he played a lot. You know
that with the nine seventy yards, you know, as a freshman,
you know he he did good. But yeah, man, they're
running back just need to go in there, fill in,
play assignment football. You know, if they got a blunt

you know, the outside end or chiff Chiff on the
outside end, and then you know, any blitzing back or
safety or corner or anything coming in from the outside,
or you know, if Chiff on the outside and then
bounce back into you know, okay, somebody gets free to or
blitzer from the inside or something. Now, then you gotta
play sign of football, play Chris football and hang onto

the freaking pigskin. That's all they gotta do. Head onto
the pig skin. Run, run hard, fall forward, don't fall back,
fall forward, play sign of football. They will be fine.
We have a highly talented group of individuals that play
running back for us, and they're there for a reason.

Yeah, I mean, I agree, Man, if they can get
those three guys going, you know, share, share the rock,
so to speak, you know, get them, get them between
twenty five to forty touches, you know, to keep that
keep that Florida defense on the field, keep that offense
on the sideline. I think that'll help. And then of
course it'll put Arch kind of at ease. Like you said, man,

let him run an RPO, give him an opportunity to
get hit early, kind of settle into that game. I
think a lot of what happens with Arch is that
he gets too hype, he gets too excited about playing,
and I think his emotions. He's still trying to figure
out how to control his emotions and he hasn't quite
learned that yet.

So I think that's part of the problem.

I think that's part of the reason why he's had
a tough time in some of these starts. But on
the road in a hostile environment, you know, I'm not
going to compare Florida and Ohio State crowd wise, But

to walk into might be even more hostile than what

he walked into Ohio Stadium. So he has to be
ready for that and keep those emotions in check.

Receivers are almost fully healthy, the main guys are back
in there like they need to be. Do you think
sark is gonna have some wrinkles, some different wrinkles that
we haven't seen yet as he gets ready to open

He might. He might throw in something here and there,
but I think he may. He's gonna have He's gonna
say some of that for the for the Oklahoma game,
and I know he's gonna say some of it probably
for the for the Georgia game. He's not gonna show
all his cards. A good a good coach won't show
all his cards. I did like that they land up

big inside the the red zone. That they need to
continue doing that. Uh But cham mancart so start to
seem to call a good game, you know, keep it
balanced as best he can, because uh wow, Florida's offense struggles.
Their defense is, you know, one of the better defenses
(18:07):
in the nation. Uh from what Yeah, the animals have said.
I hadn't seen him on TV or anything like that. Uh,
but you know I was. I was listening to uh
uh an secntcast and they said, you know that Deflorida
defense is pretty stout. So I don't know.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
We'll see what happens, Ronald, that'll be it'll be good, man.
I think I think he'll he'll come out with a
few different wrinkles.

But like you say, he's still got some big, big,
big matchups.

Ahead that he may be saving some stuff for.

It looks like Broski Weather might play a factor in
this thing. A fort chance of rain, which in Florida
means that it's probably closer to eighty percent because it's
always raining somewhere in Florida.

Uh So again and the guy that kind of goes
back to what we just talked about.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
Man, that long Horns running game is gonna have to
play a big factor in this thing to keep that
offense on the field and keep that ball moving. Sarkisian
seems to think that they'll be okay because they practice
with wet footballs anyway, so we'll see how that goes.
But the good thing is the long Horns are racking
(19:23):
up about two hundred yards a game. They're averaging about
five yards of carry, so that that could benefit them,
even though to their credit, this Florida defense is still
a very good Florida defense. So let's not pretend like
that that side of the ball for the Gators isn't
good and solid, because they certainly are and they certainly
(19:45):
can be. On the flip side, Texas is only giving
up about sixty yards a game, so when you look
at that, that's gonna be huge for the Longhorns to
play good discipline, run defense, and then of course try
to contain Lagway the best they can.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
This kid has struggled.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
This kid has had his moments where he looks just
as lost as Arch. I'm fearing that they also had
a bye week that maybe they were able to do some.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
Things right and get him ready.

Talk to me about DJ Lagway and what you know
about this kid and what he might bring Saturday that
the Longhorns haven't seen yet.

Well, Broski, I know that he was a consensus number
one quarterback coming out of the class of twenty four
because Arch was twenty three. That was the number one.
So you know we got two number one quarterbacks one
at it. The kid is fast, he can sling it

all over the yard, has a very strong arm. I
think he's pushed out six hundred and ninety yards this
year so far. Uh it's what the ESPN TAT directors said,
and I think he had like another one hundred and
something Russians. Uh So the defensive line, the linebackers, you

know Anthony Hill uh la fail.

Uh.

They need to make sure that they play assignment football.

If if somebody needs to spy, they need to spy.
I know if they're if they're going you know, like
a retip deal where where you paunch and you read
and see what's going on with football and then you
go and attack. You know, they gotta play at Simon football.

They really really have to play at Simon football because
it's not it could be a long long day because
this kid, he's a five star uh number one quarterback
and the flash.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
So the kid is talented. I don't know exacking how
he measured out at the at the Nike uh thing
there in Oregon, but I'm more sure it was it
was high because I believe he won it. So yeah, Broski,
it's he's a highly talented kid blank quarterback for the Flortigators.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
So you were correct, Brosky.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
He had got six hundred and ninety yards this season
with five touchdowns six interceptions. He's got a QBR of
about forty six point nine, which puts him at ninety two.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Uh, the best quarterback in the in the in the.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
United States, which isn't really anything to write home about.
But those six turnovers, man, those six interceptions, you know,
that tells me that one of two things. Either one,
he's not getting protected, so he's getting rushed and so
he's probably trying to make some throws that he shouldn't.
(23:02):
Or two he's not comfortable yet reading coverages and that's
why they're you know, these teams are able to scheme
certain ways to be able to make those picks. So
it'll be very interesting to see how PK you know,
approaches this. Like you said, those those defenders, especially on
(23:23):
that defensive line, they're gonna have to stay disciplined. They're
they're gonna have to keep they're gonna have to keep them,
they're gonna.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
Have to keep them from you know, over rushing, so
to speak.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
They're gonna have to stay maintained their visual uh look
on him, and they're gonna have to maintain their rush
lanes so he doesn't step up in the pocket and
take off running because him too.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
Man, he's got some legs on him. He could make
some big plays.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
Like I said before, dude, this this defense, the offense
has struggled. The offense has struggled mightily uh this season
for Florida. I hope it continues on Saturday. But their
defense is one of the better defenses in the SEC,
and probably amongst the top twenty defenses in the country.
Is Do you have any kind of inside or background
(24:15):
on their defense that you want to talk about or
anybody that stands out to you.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
Yeah, yeah, bro. See his name is Miles Graham. He's
a sophomore from Gainesville, Florida, standing at six eight. That's
their hob. That's their Anthony Hill. That's their linebacker that's
out there, you know, getting tackles, you know, doing everything
(24:41):
for him, you know. So that's that's that's their linebacker.
He's a stud, you know, he's he's good. They got
a few a few edge rushers, they got a few sacks.
You know, they're they're in there, you know. Uh. But yeah,
I mean they got they got good kids. They got
a uh uh Sharif Dentson. You know, he's a he's
(25:05):
a defensive back in one of their corners. You know,
he's he's playing good. He's tackling, you know, he's you know,
he's coming up and making the tackle. I don't know
how how sure he is on the tackling, but I know,
and up to this point, you know, he's up he's
up there, up there and tackles, you know, And they
(25:26):
got you know, big defensive linemen up front. You know,
Brandon bet three hundred and eight pounds, you know, big
defensive tackles six five. You know, that's a big dude
right there. Three hundred and eight pounds. That's that's that's
that's a massive amount of weight to move around. So
(25:47):
our our guys have to win up in the trenches.
But as far as I got, as far as I
see man that you know they got they got a
pretty decent rust. Russler and Tariff sat uh. They were
talking about him on the uh on that SEC segment.
You know that that if he gets going, you know
it's it's a good thing for him. You know, he's
(26:07):
gonna be a high draft pick.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
Uh So.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
Yeah. So, I mean their their defense is you know,
like like you said, Brosk, they're one of the better
ones in the in the country right now. And it's
because you know, all of these guys they're go out
there and playing ball, you know that are you know,
making these tackles, you know, make making you know. Uh So. Yeah.
As far as interceptions, uh, you know, Johnson has one.
(26:40):
I think McClain McLain, he's a starting safety has one.
Uh So they got to two takeaways from from that.
They got on the sack there they're bobbed up, you know,
as a team total, they've have three. But don't don't
let that for you man. There they are. There's a man,
(27:01):
they're solid defense. Yeah, but those are the ones to
stand out man.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
Yeah. Man, I mean they do. They have talent.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
I mean again, they were able to recruit four and
five star talent to come play on that defense as well.
Texas was in a mix for some of their guys. So,
I mean this is this defense is no joke. And
you know, as well as I do Broski, a lot
of these teams, especially on the defensive side, always seem
to play better at home.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
In front of the home crowd.
Speaker 2 (27:31):
They have that one guy that'll come out of nowhere
and make a big play, cause a turnover, have a
big hit, have a big sack, get the crowd hyped.
Texas has to be very very leary of that to
make sure they keep that defense on their heels, so
to speak, and not let them get into attack mode,
because if they do, that's going to cause problems for
(27:54):
this longhorn offense. I'm looking at a review here, man.
They're saying that this defense is a strong unit, a
rare bright spot for this team that has a struggling offense,
but one that can generate more turnovers to help this
team get along. So you know, they haven't created a
lot of turnovers to this point, but all they need
(28:16):
is that one game for things to turn and that
to happen. I've seen a lot of different things. I've
listened to a lot of different things the last few days.
People are kind of on the fence about which way
they want to go. They know Texas on paper, is
probably the better team, but they also understand Florida.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Florida could get going, and they could.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
They could get this thing going in the right direction
really quick with a big outing or a big win
against the Longhorns. Man, So you know, this is a
scary game for the Horns. Hopefully nobody's looking forward to
next Saturday that everything is concentrated on Florida because they're
gonna need that focus. They're gonna needed that that type
(29:01):
of you know, straight ahead thing that you have to
have when you get into these types of settings of
playing these top notch teams. This isn't the Big Twelve anymore.
You can't overlook anybody. You have to be ready to
go each and every week. So I think I think
this is a good matchup for Texas. I think it

helps them to get settled in to get ready for
this long conference season because, like you said, Oklahoma next week,
Vanderbilt in a few weeks, you got Georgia down the line.
You have Arkansas who's now got a new coach, you know,
Patrino taking over there for Pittman. I don't like Patrino,
(29:44):
but you never know what he could do. Man fresh
fresh person, different voice in the locker room could inspire
that team. And then of course A and M who's
played very well this season as well. So I mean,
there's a lot of stuff ahead of Texas, but the
their concentration needs to be on Saturday in the Swamp

at two thirty. So my next question is, bros Key,
what is your prediction. What are you thinking come Saturday
is gonna be the outcome for this game?
Speaker 3 (30:21):
Okay, Brosky, I'll get to that here shortly. I just
saw this deal that this phenom freshman that is going
to Florida has been practicing and he'll debut this weekend.
This kid is six three and thirteen pounds. He comes
in from Temple, Florida. The big thing that they're talking

about him is that during the the whatever their spring
game is, he caught ten passes for one hundred ninety
five yards and two touchdowns. So we'll see about this kid.
His name is Dallas Wilson. So that's just something for

you to to, uh to put there on your on
your deal, so to check it out.

What is he? What is he? What does he play?
Speaker 3 (31:18):
It plays wide receiver. Okay, so we'll see what that goes.
Like I said, I was, I'm just like you. I'm
scrolling through stuff to make sure you know that we

wanted to let you know. I mean personally, I say,
Longhorns with the W I want to predict somewhares about
twenty seven to seventeen. Long Horns win by ten, twenty
seven to seventeen. Defense does good, arch maning goes in

there and take care of the business. They protect the
football and you know, they get going really good in
the second half. First half, you know, it's like to
everyway boxers, just you know, a bunch of bunchy what
was going on? And then they let the rings loose

in the second half. That's the way I see it.
But yeah, Horns on top of ten.

Coach Pop used to talk about the Spurs and having
an amount of respect for the opponent that they were playing,
whether it was the top tier teams like the Lakers,

You know, he had to constantly remind his players that
they have to have the appropriate fear for their opponents.
I hope coach Sark and his staff have pounded that
same type of message into the Longhorns players' heads as

they prepare for this game and they prepare for their
second season in the SEC to have the appropriate fear
and respect for their opponents to get ready for their
next game. I think they will. I think Sark is
tired of talking about the struggles. I think he's tired
of having to try to defend Arch and some of

the things that have gone on those first few weeks
of the season. I think he's tired of having to
have all the doubters, all the guys questioning everything that's
going on in Austin.

I think he's ready.

For this team to start to break out and have
some moments and some big plays. Give me the long
Horns thirty five twenty on Saturday, and now, I know
that sounds like a big margin, but I'm not gonna
be surprised if that's a big game going or a

tight game rather going into the fourth quarter and then
that defense making a couple of plays to get lagway
to cause a few turnovers, and then the Longhorns pull
away late.

So I'm looking forward to a good game. I think
it's gonna be a struggle early. I think it's gonna be.

A boxing match, a lot of body blows early. But
I think the Longhorns find a way and walk away

fun watching them fight. If the Longhorns come and fight
like they did this week, you know on Tuesday, you know,
on Saturday, it'll be it'll be good football because man,
them them little rescuers, they fought, they bid, they scratched,
they played. Man, it was it was fun watching the kids,

uh play a little bit bigger team than they were,
uh you know, size wise, but man, that heart that
they had was was huge. So I want to give
them props. They played good, they played their hearts out.
They came up a little short. They've only had two
losses in the season, folks. Uh, we still got a

few more games and hopefully we can get in that
mix for that city championship.

We're excited about that. Uh, she's uh, he's wanting to
play baseball, so you know, baseball's around the corner for

and whatnot, and start developing and be a beast, you

know like the rest of us were, and just you know,
it's just fun watching them develop and grow and some
of the stuff he comes up with then, and his

I've not seen a Dallas Cowboy football team in the
last couple of years. But like they did, you know
this past Sunday night, it was watching a fight like
that was was fun. It was fun to watch.

Mark and I talked about that last night. Man, We
both of us were excited about the exact same thing.
We said, the exact same thing. So, like I said,
I hate to give them any credit. They still make
me mad, but I have to give the devil his due.
They played a hell of a game on Saturday, so
we'll see how they how things go for them this weekend.

figure out how to play cover two defense, they may
