Gearnetwork dot com. The following isa presentation of the Gear Radio Network What's
going On Everybody to Boy chats fromthe Fantasy Football Bros. Podcast. And
we are in the off season,so we will be bringing you new episodes
every couple of weeks. But inthe meantime, I am still gonna post

(00:23):
some content. You are gonna heartwo record reviews from my other channel,
the Chazz Cast. What's going ontoday? We are breaking down Thunder seven
by Triumph, a little Canadian rock, some maple metal, right right,

(01:11):
what's going on everybody? It's yourboy, Chaz. Welcome back to Chazz's
record review And today we are goingback, I think two years older than
the last album we broke down. We're going north of the border, y'all
for a little bit of Canadian rockersI like to call maple metal, and
we got it right here, theseventh release from nineteen eighty four by the

(01:34):
band Triumph. Now, if youguys are unfamiliar with Triumph, they're a
great Canadian rock band from the seventiesand early eighties. This was probably,
I don't know, maybe their lastbig ish album. Triumph is big around
here in Buffalo because we have aCanadian connection. A lot of Canadian bands

(01:57):
are big in Buffalo. Well,Russia is big everywhere, but Triumph is
huge here. April Wine, TragicallyHip is a damn near stadium band here
and lowest of the low. Sobelieve this is the first Canadian artist for
breaking down little background. Thunder sevenis the seventh studio album by Canadian high

(02:19):
rock band Triumph, released November ofnineteen eighty four. Three songs in the
second half of the album follow aconcept based on time related themes, and
it was recorded at Metalworks Studio inToronto. The album was certified gold in
the US with sales of over fivehundred thousand copies by two thousand and three.

(02:40):
Follow Your Heart was the band's highestcharting single of the time, reaching
eighty eight in the UK and theUS. Spellbound was also released as a
single, though it didn't prove itssuccessful, only charting in Canada and barely
scraping the top one hundred. Andthat's in Canada, so you know they're
on their downswing here. They're definitelyon their downswing here. The album cover

(03:02):
was illustrated by Dean Motor and isa mechanized version of the Vitruvian Man by
Leonardo da Vinci, and yes,you could see that. It's my hands
in the way. Now we're good, So it's it's pretty cool. I
like the cover. And then ofcourse the personnel are Rick Emmett vocals,

(03:23):
guitars, bass, guitar, musicsequencer, Prophet five synthesizer, Rold Jupiter,
Aid sinclavier, fair Light, CMISeries three, Clevinet bass pedals,
gil Moore drums, percussion and vocalsand Michael Levine bass, guitar, keyboards,
Profit five synthesizers, Sin Sinclavier,Oregan, Clevinet, bass pedals.

(03:46):
So the album was produced by EddieKramer of Kiss Fame, UH did some
Kiss albums and the early Kiss albums. And like I said, it was
certified gold in the US, andit was certified platinum in Canada. But
that's odd plantinum in Canada one hundredthousand seals gold in the US five hundred

(04:09):
thousand sales, so it's interesting thatCanada's so low, and especially that they
only sold one hundred thousand albums withthis band, considering their Canadian band,
that is weird. So we sawthe cover, we saw the back.
If you can see the sticker.I got this for ninety seven cents.

(04:33):
This I've had this in my collectiona very long time. I wasn't very
familiar with it though. It wasjust one of those ones I saw for
you know, a dollar, andpicked up. I'm talking got twenty ten,
twenty eleven, something like that. We're looking on the inside. You've
got you've got just all the specialthings and the bands on this side,

(04:57):
and then on this side you've gotthe lyrics, which is always nice to
see you. Then we've got thealbum MCA Records, clean album, a
little bit of scratches, but there'sa dollar. You don't find out dollar
albums much anymore. So that's whyI was lucky. I bought all my

(05:19):
vinyl when I did most of it, most of the cheaper stuff. Now,
all the stuff I'm just bought,I just bought. Speaking of Canadian
music, I just bought the lowestof the low Shakespeare My Butt vinyl for
like fifty sixty bucks. But it'sjust it's it's one of those that are
rare and hard to find, andI love it. And when I love
something, I want to put iton so and I want to own the

(05:42):
copy of it. So my initialthoughts about thunder seven by Triumph is this
doesn't like to stay what I said, Nope, not gonna stay. We're
holding it. So Triumph again isa big, big popular band here in
Buffalo, and one that that stuckout to me on here is actually I

(06:03):
liked Gil the drummer. I likedhis singing a lot more than I expected,
because I wasn't really sure that thatthat Triumph had two singers. The
songs that are popular from Triumph thatyou probably know at least that are played
on the radio here all the timeare all Rick Emmett songs. And I

(06:25):
know that Rick Emmett also used totour solo all the time and come here,
and for me, I just kindof thought Rick Emmett was the singer
of Triumph, but no other ofthe Canadian trio with the two singers on
this album, I feel like Gilsongs are the best. It's just he's
got a different voice. Rick's gotthat real high, you know, soaring

(06:46):
voice, and Gil's got a littlebit more of a straightforward rock voice.
And usually I like the higher stuff, and I do like Rick songs on
this album, but I don't knowthe two songs that really stuck out to
me that I'm gonna put in hereand I cant are gill songs. I'm
gonna put in three songs, butwe're gonna put in Spellbound. We're gonna

(07:06):
put in what's the one other oneI liked? Uh yeah, time goes?
Oh sorry, no, no,my bad? Spell Bound and Follow
your Heart. Those are the Thoseare the two songs we're gonna put in
for sure, Spellbound, Follow yourHeart, And then we'll put a little
bit of Little Boy Blues in there, just uh give give Rick a little

(07:31):
little action or not. Rick,Well, yeah, little Boy Blues is
like a instrumental cut, but soyou know, more of a guitar soul
song. So you know what,Let's check those out and then we'll get
into the breakdown more after this week'scool killed down them. No, she

(08:26):
would fly to my s second classof the fastness. S he can show
side says name of God, hesam boss, that's spell It exacts the

(09:09):
f says people say, shop aben happens the pat of my look away,

(10:01):
Na, it's strange, h okay, And we're back. So hopefully

(12:11):
you enjoyed those songs, and let'sstart the track by track breakdown of this
right now. Track one on sideone is Spellbound, one of the songs
you heard coming into this great rocktune by by Gil and the Boys that
but you could still hear Rick Emmon'svoice protruding through. You know, he's

(12:31):
hard to mess man, He's gotthat real high soaring voice. Spell Bound's
a good song. I feel likethere's a great opener to this album.
Track two, rock out, rockout roll on another good rocking track.
They just keep it, you know, they keep it straight forward, four
on the floor and keep rocking.And it's a it's a it's a longer
song five eighteen Spellbounds five to eleven, but tryumphing afraid to do long stretched

(12:56):
out guitire solos or any of thatstuff. So like it's always uh,
it's always good when a band sticksto their guns. You know. Again,
I mentioned before the Triumph songs. You know they got you know,
leg it on the line. Youknow they got God, I'm trying to
do Rick Emmon depression here and it'sand it's embarrassing. Fight the good fight

(13:18):
every mom man. You know.So they got songs like that, that's
all. That's all. Rick Emmettssong, so rolling Back, and then
we got cool Down, which isanother like groovy, cool song. And
then it ends side one with myfavorite song on the album, Follow Your
Heart. That's it. It's aGilbay song. But but you could definitely
hear Rick's influences in the backgrounds. And I love that song. I love

(13:41):
It's only four tracks on the oneside, but the but but we switch
over to side too. You gotTime Goes By, which is a six
minute song. Oh, and thatis awesome. That is awesome. I
know I said I was gonna putLittle Boy Blues in, but what I
meant to say is I wanted toput mid Summer's day Dream. And that's
the next track, Midsommer's day Dream, that's the one you heard. That's

(14:03):
the instrumental one. My bad,it's only a minute minute long, followed
by a time Cannon, which isa it's not it's a vocal, it's
a vocal thing. And that's onlya minute thirty one. So you got
two songs in a row that areshort and not really complete songs, followed
by Killing Time, Stranger in aStrange Land, and Little Boy Blues Again.

(14:28):
The songs you heard were Spellbound,Follow Your Heart, and Midsommer's day
Dream. It's a good catchy album, it really is. It's like,
it's surprising to me that I didn'tknow it that much. I recognize Spellbound,
and I don't know if I recognizeFollow Your Heart, But right away
Follow your Heart was like my jam. It's such a good tune and the

(14:50):
production sounds great. Rick Emman's agreat guitar player, of course, and
a great singer. But hey,I walked away. I walked away a
little more. I'm surprised with howmuch I liked Gil's voice and Gill's output
again, because you know, yeah, make fun of me if I don't
know Triumph, I'm sorry. That'swhat this is about, you know,
this is my learning experience. Thisis me learning about these bands. I

(15:13):
only know the five songs that ninetyseven rock play. That's all I know,
right, So, like I boughtby these albums when they're cheap,
and I put in my collection tolisten to and I never really gave it
a chance yet. And that's whatthis whole thing is for me to push
along and get more music in mylife and figure these things out. So

(15:33):
overall, I'm gonna give this albuma I like this album seven and a
half. Yeah, seven and ahalf. I do like this album.
It's uh, I'm gonna listen tothis more for sure, seven and a
half. Eight. I know that'swhere everything lands, because I'll give you
this album seven and a half, but like follow your Heart, I'll give
it nine as the standout song forme. I really like that song.

(15:54):
Like I said, I know,a lot of things land there, but
it's hired because like, to me, that's where it is. It's like
in the era of I like this. Yes, I listen to it again.
It's not bad. It's not mid, but it's not perfect, right,
and and that's okay. So it'sokay to be in the seven and
a half to eight range. SoI know this one's gonna be a little
quicker. There's not a ton tosay because not a lot of songs,

(16:18):
not a lot of major stickout songsfor me. But again, they're not
bad either, They're just good songs. Right. I played this. I
played this album between the VITYL andbetween you know Spotify. I played this
I don't know six seven times.I just listened to it twice this morning
to make sure I'm I'm ready forthis, and you know it's it's great

(16:40):
and it's great to put on torock too, but it's also great to
just catch in the background too, which I know is sometimes it seem to
meaning, but it's not, becauseyou don't always have to be invested wholly
in an album, right like that, So like to have this on while
I'm playing Hogwarts Legacy, Yes,make fun of me out. It's a
good game. You know, it'sgreat. It's a fun album to listen

(17:03):
to, and I'll definitely listen toit again. So now we're on,
of course, to our homework nextweek's album. Back to the drawing at
random list back in the A's thereyou go, Beautiful Eye Collisions and Castaway
or not the a's the zeros andstuff, and of course right underneath.

(17:25):
I don't know if you guys eversaw when this came up. It's an

sure what that is. It's justlike I think it's a rap album.

It just caught my eye. Soit's been sitting in my it's been

(17:47):

jew Ep but well, that's notthe homework unless it comes up when we
shake it. So let's shake itand see. Oh we got banger y'all.

God, I don't right, dydo? What's going on? Everybody?

(21:37):
Welcome back to Chazz's record review, and today we're breaking down one of
my favorite albums of all time. But let me let Paul Stanley do the
intro. Take it away, Paul, you ever notice you ever know this?
Everybody like to get a little crazynight nothin the daight time is fine

(22:02):
time, but the nighttime is theright time. He is a little soul
for all those people like to geta little fucked up. This lot's come
Creatures. Okay, that's one ofmy favorite songs of all time. What

(23:30):
an album opener, What a thunderousdrum sound. And we are talking about
nineteen eighty two, y'all, Creaturesof the Night by Kiss And this is
an original pressing I got you couldsee up here. It was ninety seven
cents. Just one of my favoritecovers of all time. I love their

(23:51):
glowing eyes. Get the thunder andlightning in the background. This one's all
kind of beat up. It's allripped up, got the cool Casablanca inner
sleeve. And then you've got thevinyl, which is actually pretty beat up.
But I like the way the thesticker is in the middle. And

(24:12):
if it seems like I'm rushing toshow this, it's because I am,
Because what I really want to showyou is pre recorded. I already ripped
into it. But I got thisthick look at the difference. Th h
I c ce y'all. I gotthis thick ass fortieth anniversary box that I

(24:36):
guess of Creatures of the Night thatI did an unboxing piece on that you're
gonna check out right now. Allright, So here we go. We're
gonna do a opening, a unboxing, a break if you will, of
the fortieth anniversary of Creatures of theNight. How beautiful this is. This

(25:02):
is an awesome box that I haven'teven opened it yet. I bought it
last year and I've been keeping itin and I figured it's time, so
let's get this started and let's oh. I know that hurts people, but
you got to open this one ifyou're when it's time to open it.
This is one of my favorite coversthat Kiss ever did because it's the only

(25:26):
cover that features Eric Carr's makeup. And know you guys like that, but
there we go. There is EricCarr's makeup right there there he is.
This is the fortieth Anniversary three LPDeluxe Edition, beautiful cover, awesome back

(25:56):
art, just the Lightning and theThunder. The LP one is the original
album remastered. LP two is thedemo's rarities and outtakes, and LP three
is Creatures. Two are Live eightytwo eighty three from Illinois, Iowa,
Illinois, Texas and Iowa. Yes, I say Illinois. I know that's

(26:19):
probably weird Illinois. As I saidbefore, this album is produced by Michael
James Jackson and Paul Stanley and JeanSimmons, but mainly Michael James Jackson.
Well, this album just has thatglowing eyes. I love it. Sorry,
I'm trying to get that light outof there. There we go,
the glowing eyes. You got Aceon the cover, who didn't even play

(26:44):
on the album. This album's gota bit of a pink aesthetic to it
as well. Sorry, let's openher up. You got awesome photography.
Well, my two faves right there, actually, oh my goodness, that
is that's two of my idols rightthere. Paul Stanley and Eric Carr both

(27:07):
tattooed on my arm. Oh lookat this. And on the inside you
got actually Vinnie Vincent. You gotPaul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Vinnie Vincent
and Eric Carr. That is awesome. You don't see many pictures of Vinnie
Vincent in his makeup. Let's tryto get that up there. You don't

(27:37):
see too many pictures of that.So that's sweet and it's a trifle recourse.
I didn't even realize there's Vinnie theretoo. Look at that Vinnie and
Jeane, and then you got morePaul with his leopard print, Jean with
his axe base, Eric Harson, and Vinny Vincent pointing to the camera.

(28:03):
This is awesome. This is cool, man. So this is the I'm
guessing that's the stuff that was actuallyon the recording or on the actual recording

(28:29):
of the album. What's on theother side that is so cool? Actually,
that's a booklet. It says themonster is unleashed. If a medical

(28:51):
practitioner examined the state of Kisses careerafter the fallout from nineteen eighty one's Music
from the Elder, his pronouncement wouldbe condition critical. This was a crucial
time for cutting ties and blazing newbeginnings. Longtime manager Bill Ocoin was let
go, and founding member Ace Frehley, who had grown increasingly unhappily about his

(29:14):
role in Kiss and the direction ofthe group's music was a fast track towards
an exit. So it looks likewe got a story talking about ads on
the paper for Vinnie Vincent. Itit says, in this little excerpt that's

(29:38):
over here. This newspaper article that'sover here, it says, American Supergroup
looking for heavy metal lead guitarists nextmajor US arena tour to begin this summer.
Must be outstanding on stage, performer, tall in the six foot range,
long hair, and must sing andwrite professionals only to respond, Please

(30:00):
send tape, photo and resume toSupergroup. So that was Kiss posting that
August twenty one, nineteen eighty two, because Vinnie was helping record this,
but they were still looking for apermanent replacement for Ace. You got Eric
Carr over here. A little morewriting over here. Some more cool pictures

(30:23):
over here, creatures of the night. Cool picture with Eric Carr's famous tank
turreant drum set, ah, somecool shots with Vinnie Vincent to live.

(30:45):
You just don't see a lot ofthat. That's so cool. All the
boys on the Kiss turret with theKiss thing behind them. Oh, that's

(31:07):
nice. On the back, itsays a memoriam of Eric Carr and Michael
James Jackson, who died in twentytwenty two, the producer of the album
somebody who I actually got to meetat the twenty eighteen Kiss Expo, so
you know, we won't go toofar to the booklet. But this album,
oh my goodness, it's so heavy. It looks like this one is

(31:27):
blue, right, it's super heavy. My goodness, is that heavy?
Now? Can I tell you howit sounds? No, obviously I just
cracked into it. But it soundsgood, guys. It's Creatures of the
Nights, one of the best soundingalbums ever. It definitely sounds good.
I can tell you that right now. Let's see what we got in here.

(31:52):
Just the I get some more rerecordplant power station, New York City,
Uh, stereo mixes and stuff.Oh, the squad on the back,

(32:13):
so freaking cool, guys. Andthis one's blue as well. This
is the demos and rarianties. Youcan see. It's like I even got
a different sticker. Look at Jeanscod piece, guys. Look at that.
Oh my goodness, let's check it. Disc three Kiss Creatures to Her

(32:42):
Live eighty two eighty three, rockFord, Sioux City in Houston. Oh
so cool. That is so freakingcool. Oh my goodness, I'm simping
out over here, guys. II am a Kiss simp. There you
go. There you have it.There is our own boxing. So that

(33:06):
is it for this segment of theshow. So back to you, Chazz.
Thanks Chaz. That was so corny. Okay, So let's actually talk
about this album. You saw howawesome that all of the stuff in the
boxing video is. But let's actuallystart breaking down to talk about this album.

(33:29):
I also want to point out thatthis album came with this awesome T
shirt that I'm wearing. This Creaturesof the Night fortieth anniversary, real cool
metal t shirt, got like deathon it and everything. But let's actually
get into the album and talk aboutthe album. Creatures of the Night is
the tenth studio album by American rockband Kiss, released in nineteen eighty two.

(33:52):
It was the band's last for CasablancaRecords, the only label for which
Kiss had quarter top to that point. The album was dedicated to the memory
of Casablanca founder and early supporter aKiss supporter Neil Bogart, who had died
of cancer during the recording session. It is also the band's last album recorded

(34:13):
with Ace Frehley credited as an officialmember, and their first album with Vinnie
Vincent as the initially uncredited. Leadguitarist Vincent would later be credited but not
featured on the cover of the nineteeneighty five reissue of the album. It
has also Kisses last album to featurethe band with their trademark makeup until the
release of Psycho Circus in nineteen ninetyeight. So a little background Kiss Kiss

(34:37):
three albums from like seventy four toseventy five, not really making waves.
They put out Alive, they getHot, they put out Destroyer, Love
Gun, Rock and roll Over. They're the biggest band in the world.
They do their solo albums. They'reso big, everyone loves them. They
do Dynasty, one of the biggesthits of all time. I Was Made
for Loving You. Then they allkind of want to break up and go

(34:57):
their separate ways. So then PeterChris quits and he even though he's featured
makeup on Unmasked, which is likea poppiler album, which is awesome,
but Kiss fans rejected it. Thenthe next album, Music from the Elder,
the first with Eric Carr officially inthe band, a concept album that
is, you know, has likeelements of say like Sticks was doing at

(35:21):
the time. Fans rejected it andit's objectively and maybe unobjectively, Kiss his
worst album. So come nineteen eightytwo, Kiss wants to get back and
do what they're known for, somehard hitting heavy metal. Ace Freeley's leaving
the band, but they don't wantto say yet because there's been so much
turmoil. So they had a bunchof ringers come in, Bob Kuleick,

(35:44):
Vinnie Vincent, who ended up replacingAce officially. The likes of those to
record guitar cuts and they just featuredas in the videos to like keep that
semblance. The album is hard rocking, it slaps hard, and it's kind
of done. In America, itgoes the highest position it goes in nineteen

(36:07):
eighty two was twenty two in Sweden, twenty two in UK, twenty five
in Italy, and in US weonly went to forty five, so they
were expecting more. The fortieth anniversary, he re re released the one that
you saw I just noticed this, you know about the same positions thirty five

(36:28):
in Sweden, forty three for Sorryforty three in Sweden, forty eight in
Scotland, Japan went forty. Therewas only one one single and that was
Creatures of the Night, and thatwent to thirty four. So the album,
though is considered gold in the US, only only five hundred thousand copies.
So this album, this album righthere, Creatures of the Night,

(36:50):
one of the greatest albums ever,I think, so, just as many
records as that last Triumph album. And and you know it's relatively the same
time. So it shows you thatrock music was on a decline. We're
gonna break in. We're gonna breakin, and we're gonna talk about these
these songs. And this might bea long episode, but I don't care.

(37:13):
Me and Robbie Vegas shout out tothe All Bets Are Off podcasts.
Robbie Vegas did a whole episode onthe podcast. If you'd like to hear
it, we go and adapt thetrack by track, song for song on
every song on this album, andyou can search for it on the All
Bets Are Off podcast with Robbie Vegas. Found everywhere, and just look for
Creatures of the Night, Robbie Vegassomething like that. You'll find it track

(37:37):
one, Creatures of the Night. That's the song you just heard, written
by Paul Stanley and Adam Mitchell.Fantastic. The drums on this album are
masterpiece. They just sound so amazingand the rest of the drums and air
Car is one of my favorite drummersof all time. He's one of my
audios. I've got them tattooed onmy arm right there. But he never

(38:00):
replicated this sound again, or shallI say the studio never replicated this sound
again. Christmas the Night a fantasticsong to kick off this album. It
also kicks off a live three byKiss, which came out about ten about
ten or eleven year, about elevenyears eleven, twelve years after this came
out, So that's how they Youknow, it's a good kickoff song because

(38:22):
they were pulling into a decade oldsong to kick off their third live album.
Track two Satan Ciner by Gene Simmonsand Michael Japp. Gene Simmons output
on albums usually is half and halfand sucks. So I'm projecting here and
using my stage voice, and thereshe is. She wants to say hi

(38:43):
to you guys. She's always gotto come and say hi when it's camera
time. We're talking about Satan Sinnerfrom kids right now. Wow, that's
my baby. So Gene Simmons outputfrom time to time on Kisses albums through
the eighties are like half and halfeven like thirty seven and be Good to
Bad And you guys know that ifyou're kiss fans. But he's got all

(39:05):
winners on this album. Satan Sinaer'sjust a real kind of a groovy heavy
song. Eric Carr's got this reallycool beat. I love it. It's
just a good groovy song. Oh, next song again written by Paul Stanley,
Sorry Paul Stanley and Adam Mitchell.Keep Me Coming, Keep Me Coming

(39:27):
reminds me if if I let PaulStanley trying to write like more of a
Zeppelin ly vocal song, way heavierthan of led Zeppelin song. But it's
got that led Zeppelin's like swag toit, and like Paul Stanley's voice is
amazing and he's just hitting some ofthose hot notes so good. Like I
just I got the death look rightnow from Pickles. She didn't like that.

(39:50):
Trek four rock and roll hell writtenby Gene Simmons, Brian Adams,
Yes, that Brian Adams, theCanadian Guy, and Jim Valance rock and
roll helb. Maybe the worst songon the album, but it's not bad
by any means. It's got thatcatchy kind of chorus, and it's got
this like real like bass driven uhverse to it, and it's just got

(40:12):
it's just got that sing along chorus, like get me out of this rock
and roll hel I need to getaway. In track five, the last
track on side one of the albumis Danger, another Paul Stanley Adam Mitchell
collaboration. Another insane vocal by PaulStanley, like this is where Paul Stanley
was coming into his own as asinger and uh Daninger Dinger, give me

(40:39):
Danger, Danger so good man.Oh, I love this album. Flip
the record track one. Track sixoverall, I Love It Loud, written
by Gene Simmons and Vinnie Vincent.A song that they still play in concert
today. Probably the first drum beatI ever learned. You know. It's

(41:01):
just got that iconic boom boom boomboom boom boom Did you boom bom boom?
Love that drumbeat. Love the song. It's a little overplayed now,
of course, but it's like theonly hit on the album. Track seven.

(41:22):
Oh, this song I Still LoveYou, written by Paul Stanley and
Vinnie Vincent. Man this song. The acoustic version of the song helped make
me a vocalist, just the wayPaul Stanley sings in Deflex and Pickles is
playing with this light right now,she better not knock it over. She
has a habit of knocking things overwhen she's not getting attention. Anyway,

(41:44):
Sorry, I still love you.Paul's voice in this is amazing. I
read an article somewhere saying that thissong wasn't written about anyone specifically, but
that's a lie, and I don'tbelieve it. It's Paul deflecting because there's
so much passion in this song. There's so much pass that Paul is just
getting out vocally, and especially inthe in the acoustic cut. So in

(42:07):
the fact that this is on theirnineteen eighty two album as well as the
first song, but this one's ontheir ninete eighty two album. They bring
it back for a live three soPaul can rip it vocally, then they
bring it back for unplugged like Paulknows the beauty of this song and it's
easily my highest recommended song on thiswhole list. It's my favorite song on

(42:32):
the whole album. I've been gushingso much I didn't even put any music
in so well you know, ormaybe I cut him in in between all
I'm talking here, but it's notmuch. I'm gushing. And then we've
got number eight Killer written by GeneSimmons and Vinnie Vincent. So Killer,

(42:54):
Killer, the last two songs Killerand Orbation, a really heavy songs,
Gene Simmons song, Oh that's interesting. The last the second uh side of
the album has four songs and it'sthree Gene Simmons songs. It's a Gene
Simmons heavy album. He's got fiveof the nine songs, but Paul songs
are all amazing. Sorry, Killerand war Machine. War Machine is a

(43:15):
song that they like to do livereally heavy again, written by Jim Valance
and Brian Adams if. Brian Adamswrote that riff turn in such a heavy
song. Kiss. Actually you usedto do this to like put in track.
Sorry, Kiss did this to putin with like to replace God of

(43:38):
thunder Right, which is one ofthe most iconic parts. But this turned
into the song where where Gene wouldfly and spit his blood and do all
his cliche Gene Simmons things right. So it's such a good album. I
know I've been gushing and I justran through all the songs you heard,
Creatures of the Night, You're nowyou're gonna hear keep me coming Danger,

(44:00):
I still love you and war Machine. Yeah you get a little extra,
so enjoy it. No jo,I'm not girls, no sah, I

(45:31):
won't be wanted? Where should wego? So not pay pay and did
nock be as should throw its notwanted? That on the I want to

(45:55):
know, I want to go shouldthought about the ash jo jo jo jo

(46:32):
h what a lot of time thatseven of me? Last min shake down,

(47:24):
I'm going to take away, lookdown up and the game go see.

(47:44):
So I got to see tell methat your leaving and tried understand.

(48:22):
I have myself believing I should tryto get like a man. But you
gotta go, then you gotta Mount'skilling me. There's other things I've never

(48:44):
seen to shout God, they castcount so much till they couldn't be one

(49:05):
of It's not the po us notJohn is not so much of time tell
and make it bad. You gotthe big bread you know, not doing

(49:27):
behind? I thought a man notto show your sh okay. So now

(50:15):
I got to hear the awesome songsand I don't even know if I put
in clips or the full songs.I might release this as a podcast too
and put on the whole songs inbetween each, but I rambled too much,
so maybe not. But you canalso check out the All Bets Are
Off podcast with Robbie Vegas and TypingCreatures of the Night and you will find
our whole breakdown of this. Sonow we're going back into our random draw

(50:39):
for the album of the week. It's almost impossible to get a better album
this one, because I mean thisis a ten out of ten for me,
easy ten out of ten. It'sup there with Revenge. I do
like Revenge a touch more, justa touch more, but this is right
there and right behind it. Asyou could see, we are in the
zeros, the a's and let's justget at it. Like I said,

(51:04):
I'm so shaw hyped when we pullthis album. I've been living off like
a high to do this, andto do this on boxing video that I
recorded of it, because yeah,I just took it out today. I
mean I've I've had the old vinylforever. I'm sure this vinyl sounds amazing.
I just had a chance to listento it. It just came,
you know, I probably had aboutfour months, right, I know,
I know, I get it,but I didn't get a chance to listen

(51:27):
to it yet. So we're gonnado our random draw right now, and
we got Okay, this is arandom one. It is not the same
vein of kiss. We're going alittle little back into it. We are
doing the self titled album, possiblythe first album I don't know if it's
their first from Cheap Trick. Sowe're doing Cheap Trick, Cheap Trick.
Looking on the song list, we'vegot hot Love, Speak Now or Forever

(51:52):
Hold your Piece, He's a Whore, Monticello or Monticello. I think that's
Monticello, the Ballad of TV Islands. I'm not the only boy. Hello,
kiddies, Daddy should have stayed inhigh school. Tax Man, Mister
Thief, Cry Cry, and OhCandy. Don't know any of these songs
and hate on me if you maynot. A huge Cheap Trick guy,
But this is the point of thisan album that I absolutely can love and

(52:15):
gush over now one that I haveto do a little homework on and find
out. So I'm looking forward tochecking this out. Remember, guys,
your homework is the self titled albumby cheap trick called cheap trick, and
if you did it, listen tothis damn Creature of the Night album.
You're stupid. You should have didit. You should have gave it a

(52:37):
chance. It's a killer album. It's so good I'm gushing over it.
There's no way this cheap trick albumcompares to it. But still, we
got this one out of the way. We can relax, we can breathe,
and we can get on some moreof the discovery. So thank you
for checking out the channel. Pleaseleave a comment. Let's have a discussion.

(52:59):
