Speaker 1 (00:31):
Hey guys, it's EJ over here at Fast Food Horror.
I'd like to take a few minutes to explain to
you the listener, who we very much appreciate, why we've
had such a delay in dropping our next episode, and
what's been causing the delay. Let's bring it up to speed.
A few days after we dropped the first episode of
(00:52):
The Bell Tower, we were contacted by attorneys. Those attorneys
were representing the city, the church, the former owners of
the property over there at Saint Anthony's and most importantly,
the family of Jenny Stratton. The attorneys served us with
a cease and desist order ordering us not to release
(01:13):
any more information concerning Jenny Stratton, her disappearance, and the
property formerly known as Saint Anthony's Church. It also halted
us from using the VHS tape that we acquired. Now,
we at Fast Food Horror also retained our own attorney,
and through many, many hours and days and weeks of
(01:34):
meetings between the sides, we have come to an agreement.
To protect the family of Jenny Stratton, to protect the
public safety, and to protect the integrity of Saint Anthony's Church,
we at Fast Food Horror have agreed to use a
edited version of the VHS tape. We acquired that VHS
(01:57):
tape will make no mention as to the exact location
of Saint Anthony's Church or the tower. We have gone
through the tape to make sure it does not mention
the city or communities or streets where the church and
or tower is located. These edits were done to protect
public safety. The last thing the church or the city wants,
(02:22):
and the family of Jenny Stratton is any persons trying
to locate the tower, locate the church and do a
little bit of urban exploring themselves and find themselves either
hurt or injured or as unimaginable as it could seem
in the same predicament as Jenny Stratton. We were also
directed to take out many emotional moments, private moments that
(02:46):
were shared by Jenny on the tape to protect her
and her surviving family members and friends. So, having said
all that, the edited version will drop today tonight to
be precise, at nine o'clock Eastern on this date, February sixteenth. Again,
we are asking you, on behalf of the city, the church,
(03:09):
and especially the family of Jenny Stratton, do not try
and locate the tower or the church. Do not encourage
others to locate the church or the tower. It is
unsafe to do so. Please respect the city, the church,
and the family's wishes. Likewise, if you are already familiar
(03:32):
with the story, if you know the location of the
church and the tower, the city is located in the
street it resides on, or at least resided on. Please
keep this to yourself. Please do not share this amongst friends.
Please do not post online, and by all means, please
do not take it upon yourself to do urban exploring
(03:52):
and check it out for yourself. The site is not safe.
It is not safe for you to go there. It's
only a few hours before nine o'clock. I'm down here
in the dungeon. Though, with Igor Froedrich, we're gonna do
a last couple of little tweaks to the episode before
we release it, making sure all the edits comply with
our agreement with the attorneys, the family, the church, and
(04:15):
the city. We hope you enjoy
