Speaker 1 (00:01):
Absolute QUI amaze your friends here at first thing today
by Joe Thomas, j.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Word said, steal me, step me have a day at
least for work.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
When the sun comes up, drops a kid.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Good nay, Joe.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
Has everything a gender all the Jasu said, it needs.

Speaker 5 (00:23):
No one that Joe's anes smile.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
He only as.

Speaker 6 (00:30):
Joe, thank you for letting me be of service to
you this morning.

Speaker 7 (00:34):
I want to be Joe.

Speaker 6 (00:36):
Mind holding these truths for a moment. I know it's
what it's what they meant when they say we hold
these truths to be self evident. We take turns four three,
four eight eight two four two one seven. That is
the phone number. I will tell you the news. I'll
break down the news and do easily digestible chunks. But

(00:56):
I also want to hear how it's impacting you as
you find yourself yet again here really weary of being
called the violent ones. This is a young lady on TikTok, perhaps,
if not supported by the Chinese Communist Party, at least

(01:20):
using the platform provided to her by the Chinese Communist
Party to threaten each one of us with death.

Speaker 8 (01:27):
Okay, I guess so I would like to start a
new movement called Sea Maga mega bee calls.

Speaker 9 (01:34):
People like that respond.

Speaker 10 (01:35):
To fear and terror and aggression, not logic and sympathy.
And I don't know intelligence, it doesn't work for them,
So that fear works. So if we all get our
guns and use our Second Amendment right at our common sense.
At this point, this administration is begging us to rise
up and revolt.

Speaker 6 (01:55):
See Maga, shoot Maga. And I really appreciate the liberal
look into what they think the Second Amendment says they
have the right to do. You tell me somewhere in
the Second Amendment where it says you have the right
to just come along and shoot somebody on the street,

(02:18):
because apparently that's what this nutcluster things. Now, Now, can
I file? Can I call the Fluvanna County Sheriff's Department
in my home and say I've just been threatened by
somebody on TikTok? I don't know, you know what? Or
should I call the FBI? I mean I want to

(02:45):
call somebody. There needs to be somebody who needs to
know that anyone with a maga hat, according to this
liberal on TikTok with her few thousand followers, and I
mean that's a few thousand people with guns out there
saying see Maga, shoot maga. But we're the violent ones.

(03:06):
We're the ones who were supporting political violence. Our first
things this morning declaring the Office of National Intelligence had
become bloated. DNI Tulsi Gabbert announced Wednesday the first structural
overhaul of the agency since its founding twenty years ago

(03:27):
in the wake of September eleventh, as a layer of
authority over the eighteen other agencies. By focusing on our
core mission finding the truth and providing objective, unbiased, and
timely intelligence to the President and policymakers, and ending the
weaponization of intelligence and holding bad actors accountable are essential

(03:51):
to begin to earn the American people's trust, which has
long been eroded. She announced the creation of OD and
I two point zero. We were talking about dorm rooms
in the last segment. Pope Leo the fourteenth is starting
a dormitory, shaking up tradition. He's moving into a newly

(04:15):
renovated papal apartment and bringing four roommates. Leo plans to
share his new residence with father Edgarda Ramakuna, his Peruvian
personal secretary, trusted advisor, close friend, from South America. Father

(04:39):
Edgard also one of the people rumored to be moving
into the apartment. No word on whether they're going to
leave a bedspace for his brother in Chicago to come visit.
Eight people were sentenced for wire fraud because of the
COVID nineteen pandemic. No, they didn't catch long COVID and

(05:02):
commit wire fraud. They heard of the Payroll Protection Plan
and EIDL programs and said we got to get us
some of that. Frederick Smith of Cordova, Tennessee, along with
eight others were sentenced yesterday for their role in the
scheme that defrauded you and me out of seventeen million dollars.

(05:28):
They submitted false alone applications on behalf of businesses and
entities that the defendants quote unquote owned or started. The
group allegedly lied on fund applications about number of employees,
gross revenues, average monthly payroll and more. And those are

(05:49):
some of your first things. And of course Texas voted
eighty eight to fifty two to accept the new districting
seats for the twenty twenty six mid term elections.

Speaker 11 (06:05):
HI.

Speaker 12 (06:05):
This is Bud Foster, co host of Foster and Friends
and former Virginia Tech football coach. When I brought the
famed lunch fail to our team, it symbolized teamwork. The
word win stood for what's important. Now, the Lunch Pail
Defense Foundation realizes the importance of helping others. Our foundation
is a nonprofit corporation that helps fund academic scholarship for eligible.

Speaker 6 (06:26):
High school students.

Speaker 12 (06:27):
Since two thousand and nine, the Lunch Pail Defense Foundation
has raised nearly four hundred thousand dollars and awarded over
forty individual scholarships. We also support an organ transplant program
in conjunction with Duke University Medical Center. For information regarding
corporate sponsorship or becoming an individual supporter, log on to

Considered by most, optimized curcumin is one of the few
bioavailable and highly absorbable curcumin products on the market. Hi,
I'm doctor Mitch. Since most chronic diseases have inflammation, our
optimized curcumin seems to be a perfect addition to any
nutritional program. It makes sense to me that preventing or

(08:26):
reducing inflammation is a key component to our overall health.
The Mayo Clinic found that kurcumin can decrease swelling and inflammation,
has antioxidant properties, and research suggests that kurcumin can prevent
cancer or at least slow the spread of cancer, and
in many instances make chemotherapy more effective. It protects our

healthy cells even from radiation. Total wellness dot com where

I'm ANDREWS. Saul, Commission of Self Security. I'm here to
warn you about telephone scammers pretending to be government employees.
Some of these scammers may say threatening things like you
will be arrested if you don't make payments or provide
personal information. Do not fall for these tricks. These calls
are not from US. Real solid security employees will never

(09:26):

Speaker 16 (09:59):
I'm Jack, and it's always a boy. Growing up on
a farm in Tennessee, I've been fascinated with animals. I'm
not only in alle of their beauty and kindness, but
also their tireless work, ethic just look at the birds
who gather supplies to build nests, or Swiss foxes who
work hard to provide for their young, or penguins who
travel up to five hundred miles to secure food for
their families, or bush babies whose impressive jump allows them

(10:21):
to navigate the trees and the wild in search of fruit.
This remarkable work ethic is shared by our best friends,
the canines. We know dogs are a wonderful pets at home,
but because of their acute senses, they also perform life
saving work every day. Dogs keep us safe at airports.
They comfort returning veterans, some of whom suffer from PTS.
They work with diabetics, alerting them when there's a change

(10:42):
in their blood chemistry. Working dogs have a variety of
highly trained roles that contribute to society and help those
in need. So please join me an American Humane and

Speaker 18 (11:18):
Somebody call me a ride.

Speaker 7 (11:19):

Speaker 19 (11:21):

it's time to go home.

costs go to heating and cooling. Energy efficiency isn't just
good for the environment, It means lower utility bills too.

Speaker 6 (13:21):
Chaos or control. We were taught at an early age,
gasled into the idea that control are the good guys
control everything? So from beneath the cone of silence comes
Tolsy Gabbard with O, D and I two point zero.

(13:43):
Matt writes in Oh my God, a federal bureaucracy that
has cotton bloated? How could we let this happen? Jerry
writes in from Connecticut, and he says that listening at WG,
he says, Joe, of course, ODNI has bloated its population

(14:05):
and staffing should be exactly zero. That's what I've said before.
I asked Tom Ridge that when he left to become
the head of the Department of Homeland Security, we talked
about the constitutional proportions of a congressional district. The constitutional
proportions for the Department of National Intelligence is exactly zero.

(14:30):
But here's Tolsey Gabbart explaining ODNI two point zero with
a forty percent workforce cut.

Speaker 23 (14:38):
As you know, Jesse, this organization, the Office the Director
of National Intelligence, was created twenty years ago in the
wake of the egregious and strategic intelligence failures around the
islamus Terrist attack on nine to eleven in our country,
and this office was created by Congress to get after
those problems, to make sure that there is one independent

(14:59):
body providing that oversight over the intelligence community, integrating intelligence,
making sure that the left hand is sharing information with
the right hand, and fundamentally and most importantly, ensuring that
the intelligence that is being provided to the President of
the United States is timely, it is relevant, and it
is a political objective that they're actually he is actually

(15:20):
getting the information he needs to make the critical decisions
that he makes every single day.

Speaker 6 (15:26):
So here's the question and I asked this, since district
thing is the other theme of the day, how do
you get people who are political appointees to be a
political Hey? Listen, and you remember reading the text messages
in between the FBI lovebirds struck in page. He's not

(15:52):
going to win, is he? Don't worry? We have an
insurance policy. Oh, you're my hero. And I think that
was the mail right that was struck. Oh you say
you're my hero, Come rescue me. I'm a damsel in distruction.

(16:16):
But anyway, strocking page, how do you how do you
create a politic out of I think you personally have
to make these positions responsible to a congress, a congress
that has abdicated its authority over some of these things.

(16:36):
They'll like they like to hold hearings so that they
can speechify through their five minute allotted time. And I
give credit where credits due. I mean, I speak for five,
six seven minutes at a pop. I know it's not easy.
I know it's not easy to sound like they're your

(16:56):
words when you're reading them off a piece of paper
that you were just handed, you know, a minute before
you walked into the chamber. But the bigger problem is
is how do you make this a political in Virginia
when we were trying to get through redistricting and all

(17:20):
the southern states up until Horace Cooper, the great jurist
with the National Center for Public Policy Research and Project
twenty one. By the way, Horace Cooper, if you've never
watched Fox News, a black man broke the Voting Rights Act,
especially when it came to the preclearance laws that said

(17:41):
that states that had succeeded the nation had to have
the federal government to dictate their voting structure, their districts, everything,
everything had to go through Washington. So how do you
make a body of people that are appointed by politicians

(18:01):
a political? I believe you take away the ability to
hire these people you can nominate and a lot of
people say, oh my gosh, you know how long these
nominating processes are. Well, I think you substantively need to

(18:22):
get back to a place where these nominations can't just
be held up for political reasons. And I would say
this if and I have said it, when Democrats just
bring it to a vote. If you don't have enough
votes to stop them, go get them enough votes to
stop them. Win more elections. You know, and I understand

(18:46):
that a lot of people try to use parliamentary procedure,
and it does exist in places where the minority voices
are not being listened to. But many of the cases
of justice in this country began as dissenting opinions. Remember

(19:09):
the US Supreme Court at one point ruled that poor
black and white women could be sterilized by the state
government because they were on public assistance for more than
four years. Chief Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes wrote in his

(19:32):
majority opinion, three generations of imbeciles are enough. Great laws
that changed our society, the emancipation Prime. All of this
began with dissenting opinions, because too often popular opinion becomes

(19:54):
the majority opinion, even in a place likes the Supreme Court.
Is it important for there to be intelligence gathered about
those who hate the United States, who would be enemies
of the state. Sure, But who gets to decide who

(20:14):
an enemy of the state is? Because right now we
live in a world where if you criticize the state,
if you criticize the federal government for thinking it can
own ten percent of a company just because all the
other countries in the world have percentage ownership stakes, Benito
and Mussolini's on the phone and said, gosh, why didn't

(20:35):
I just buy Lamborghini. I had to use tanks to
take over my share of Lamborghini. But to pretend that
just intels ten percent stake by the US government is
the only way government controls business is also barking at

(20:58):
the moon. But we live in a country that has
determined that people who criticize it because we've become this
democracy where everything has to come for a vote every
I cannot look unpopular. I cannot look like I have
a critic. I cannot take a phone call from somebody

(21:18):
who argues with me, because if I do, then I'm
not the great and powerful oz. I'm not the great
and powerful talk oracle. And it all diminishes you. When
the politicians can't look wrong over something, and if somebody
is going to bring that up, we must silence them.

(21:40):
If the Emperor has no clothes, co arrest the kid
that's about to shout that before the emperor hears it.
And that's the problem. The structural problem with OD and
I is that the intelligence they're gathering is on American citizens,
not foreign apples.

Speaker 11 (22:02):
Did you know that healthy arteries make a gas, yes,
actually three known gas is I'm doctor Mitch, and nitric
oxide is a gas that's readily made all day long
to keep our arteries open by relaxing the blood vessel walls.
By doing this, our circulation is increased, bringing blood, oxygen,

Change So so proud you know, And I love KPPF

(29:03):
in Colorado Springs and and four Collins Greeley were also
on there, and Honeymoon did in Colorado. My wife lived
for years in Boulder. I wonder if they recognized it
if we ever went back there again. At kke FKA

(29:25):
in Greeley thirteen ten and how did you do that?
By the way, Yeah? What thirteen ten am? And one
oh three point one FM. I mean that's sweet. I
mean all these other ones, it's like, oh, it's twelve
forty AM and one oh one point one FM. And
I like it. It's there's a synergy there. But in
any event, so proud, and I know how you feel.

(29:46):
I have empathy. I went through eight years of an
Attorney General that not only was a leftist, but was
one of those not even courageous enough to come out
and say it would let regents and agents come out
and say the things that he wanted to say. He

(30:07):
was one of the people guilty of taking the money
and the free lawyers from the Bloomberg Group to go
against the climate change people. Oh, by the way, we
got to do the story about the Republicans and the
Senate holding up the Trump nominees over green subsidies. I mean,

(30:29):
if you heard a story that Senators were holding up
Trump nominations over green subsidies, you'd be rightly concerned to
think it was Oh, I don't know, Hickenloop or Mark Warner,
or you name it, Jack oss Off, you know all
of these folks. But no, it's Republicans that want the

(30:54):
government subsidy for wind energy. But let me just dig
it to Jenna Griswold on here and obviously her dad
and the whole family and the vacation you know, Sagas,
Europe and Vegas and all that have left a scar
on Griswold, Colorado Secretary of State, same one that Trump

(31:15):
kept Trump from being on the primary ballot.

Speaker 24 (31:18):
We're in conversations with our attorneys to make sure we're
defending Colorado's elections.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
Look, mail ballots are secure.

Speaker 24 (31:26):
They cannot be hacked because they're a piece of paper
that is increasingly more important as Trump has made our
elections less secure since taking office.

Speaker 6 (31:35):
Again with of course no lawyers. Why would you want
to show evidence? First off, a paper ballot can't be hacked. Well, sure,
once it's been written, but who's to say it's being
filed by the right person. Just its existence outside of
the view of election officials in and of itself is

(32:01):
the original hack. Anyway, more of the Griswold family.

Speaker 24 (32:06):
He's disbanded much of the federal government's work on countering
foreign disinformation and as obviously taking cues.

Speaker 6 (32:15):
That has so it's again foreign disinformation telling you things
that you shouldn't know about voting. You're too dumb there
in Colorado Springs to vote for yourself. You're being fooled
by insert name of foreign actor, mostly Vladimir Putin.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
About democracy from a dictator.

Speaker 6 (32:35):
Now, now, remember when you hear somebody like Jenna Griswold
say democracy, you have to hear it in the correct pronunciation.
As Ray has taught us, it should be pronounced democracy
as in protecting the Democratic Nationalist Socialist Party of America's
position Putin.

Speaker 24 (32:55):
And we're in conversations with our attorneys to make sure
sure we're defending Colorado's elections.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Look, mail ballots are secure. They cannot be.

Speaker 6 (33:05):
Hacked except for the people who get them fraudulently. So
that's sure. You're so proud the same person who kept
Trump off the ballot talking about the actions of a
dictator like Putin. And these are supposedly the adults in
the room. I mean, she's not. She is not as

(33:28):
bad as see a Maga Shoot Omega that we played
for you half hour ago. You missed. You just joining us,
you missed seea Maga shoot Omega. Yeah, it's the it's
the new game for apparently gun owning liberals.

Speaker 8 (33:44):
Okay, I guess so I would like to start a
new movement called Sea Maga Mega be calls people like.

Speaker 10 (33:52):
That respond to fear and terror and aggression, not logic
and sympathy, and I don't know intelligence. It doesn't work
for them, So that fear works. So if we all
get our guns and use our Second Amendment right at
our common sense. At this point, this administration is begging.

Speaker 11 (34:11):
Us to rise up and revolve.

Speaker 6 (34:16):
Mike Rice in Joe, I checked my second Amendment. Seea
Maga shoot Omega is not in there in any of
its provisos. I know it's a very long amendment. I
don't even believe it's an entire sentence. But I don't
see sea Maga shoot Omega in there. I don't see
your right to shoot somebody who disagrees with you politically.

(34:37):
There by the way, O MG, this woman is one
ribbed forehead prosthetic away from playing a Klingon in the
next Star Trek movie. Well all right, and I was
going to stay away from but Mike, I appreciate if
you're going to take the you know there, it's TikTok.

(35:00):
It's TikTok. This is this is like going to Temu
or is it team I've never had it. Half the
people I know say it's Temu. Half the people I
know say it's Temu. The shopping club. App I mean,
we all have I look like Colonel Sanders and Wavy

(35:25):
Gravy had a love child. I look goofy. You we
all look goofy. Yeah, but you're right. She does kind
of look like she's one ribbed forehead prosthetic away from
playing a klingon. But you're right. There's a Second Amendment

(35:47):
she's she's saying, let's use our Second Amendment rights to
go hunt MAGA supporters down in the streets. And for
those who aren't conversant in the Second Amendment, like this
kling on on, TikTok, I'll take the time out here
because it is so long a well regulated militia being

(36:12):
necessary to the security of a free state, the right
of the people to keep and bear arms shall not
be infringed. Ding That's it. That's the entirety of the
Second Amendment. My favorite part, my favorite trivia. One word
you don't see in their guns, I don't know, could

(36:36):
be phaser cannons. At some point, that's an armament. If
I want to carry a Scottish claymore from my sporn,
actually you wouldn't carry your claymore from your sporn. But
if I was to lash my claymore to my kilt
belt as I walked down the street in my Crawford finest.

(36:58):
I have a constitution only protected right to keep and
bear those arms. I could be accused of bringing a
broadsword to a gunfight, but people say you carrying a broadsword.
They think you're nuts, and they may be right. But
I have a right to barrons. But yeah, you're right

(37:19):
to hunt MAGA supporters down in the streets, not in
there anywhere. And the story of the Republicans and wind subsidies.
And I do this mostly because it's mean and it
hurts people's feelings, and it'll it might cause some people

(37:40):
discomfort around the electoral regions of their anatomy. We oh, okay,
so we have a break, and then I'll tell you
about the Republican senators that did in some Trump nominees
over wind turbine substity.

Exercise is hard, so is maintaining a healthy diet. Of course,
neither is half as hard as dying. Sadly, type two diabetes,
heart disease, and stroke kill nearly a million people a year.
Even sadder, most of these deaths are preventable with a
few lifestyle changes, including regular activity, healthier eating, and not smoking.

(41:22):
Talk to your doctor about your risk for type two
diabetes and heart disease, and if your doctor recommends lifestyle
changes or medication, listen. The reason so many die is

Speaker 1 (44:09):
The first thing today on the Talk media Network by
Joe Thomas, the second most famous Thomas and Charlottesville. I
spent much time.

Speaker 6 (44:30):
Uh, you're part of the wrong spot. We've towed your
wet sprocket. That's what we've done. Rating windmills. There's good
money to be made, especially from the rent seekers. Our
friend Chris Horner calls it the world's second oldest profession. Hey,
at least you're getting money for it, right. So I

(44:51):
bring up Chuck Grassley, and this is especially going to
hurt our friends in Provo and Salt Lake. Because Chuck
Grassley needed some help in undoing some and sending a
message to Donald Trump about taking out subsidies for windmills.

(45:16):
He moved to block three of the President's Treasury Department
nominees fairly important thing. In a country with trillions and
trillions of dollars in debt and increasing by factors of
more trillions every month, Treasury nominees pretty important. I think.

(45:38):
Chuck Grassley of Iowa, a Republican for those keeping score
at home, blocked the nominees in protests of rules that
he says undercut federal tax credits for wind and solar energy.
So understand, when you hear the phrase federal tax credits,

(46:00):
you need to hear the much simpler to understand concept
of subsidy. Grassley is long battled with President Trump because
Iowa is the king of Corn, which means renewable energy.

(46:24):
And if Chuck Grassley had his say, probably Texas District
thing wouldn't be happening because don't give Texas more power.
They are South Dakota.

Speaker 15 (46:34):
Oh boy.

Speaker 6 (46:37):
But Senator Grassley was joined in his pursuit by John
Curtis of Utah. John curtis disappointing in this certainly when
it comes to renewable energy tax credits. A senator from
Korn is going to take the pledge. Send me an

(47:07):
email saying, look at how many cars are running into
Indianapolis five hundred on ethanol. Yeah, no, I understand, And
it's a different kind of corn. And now we're discovering
that we take the corn husks and use that cellulose
to create That's all well and good. It still takes
more energy to make the ethanol than it does to

(47:27):
make a galony gasoline. So when we can pencil there,
I like that. If you want to talk about renewables,
I'll talk to you about hydrogen. The byproduct of a
hydrogen fuel cell vehicle is water vapor, which for a
very brief period of time, the Greenies also had included

(47:47):
on their epa list of dangerous pollutants water vapor, greenhouse gas.
John Curtis is disappointing. He won his Senate seat with
sixty two percent of the vote. You don't need to

(48:07):
be sitting there navel gazing over gosh. Gee, I wonder
if I'm going to win reelection or not if I
take a different stand. Senators Grassley and Curtis have complicated
the Treasury nominees and shows that the Senate wants to

(48:32):
roll back more of the blockade of subsidies for renewable energy.
Remember this is drill, baby, drill. This is energy independence,
which can be all of the above. And many of
the states that benefit from the solar subsidies aren't represented

(48:56):
by Republicans, so they got to use parliamentary procedure. Hang
up these very important nominees. Treasury is one of the
most important things we can work on right now because
we have so little left in it except IOU's little
papers that say, iou seven trillion dollars. But I mean, goodness, gracious,

(49:26):
if John Curtis had won the Senate seat in Utah
by one percentage point and it was a hard battle
and it costs trillions of dollars in advis and all
the radio and TV stations in Provo and Salt Lake
City had been able to send their executives to Lake
Como for a getaway on all the money they made

(49:50):
off of Then you know, you say, all right, maybe
he's in a state like that and IOA, You say,
all right, it's it's corn and so any renewable energy subsidy.
It's not right, but you can understand it. Of Course,
somebody like Chuck Grassley shouldn't have to worry about getting
re elected, so he might be prone to take a

(50:12):
leadership position in this and say is this really helping anyone?
But because you know the second the purveyors, the perpetrators,
the performers in the world's second oldest a world's second

(50:37):
oldest profession. It's only my third cup of first thing
this morning coffee, first free in the morning coffee. These
members of the world's second oldest profession, rent seeking one
who subsidize solar panels, subsidized wind turbines. And because Trump's

(51:04):
called them out on the fact that it doesn't work,
They're going to block Trump nominees. And it has nothing
to do with never Trumper. It has to do with
pro rent seeker pro people that if you left them
naked and alone in a marketplace with their products, they

(51:28):
couldn't sell them. If you put solar panels and natural
gas furnaces next to one another and said which one
do you want? And you're allowing people to get a
full breadth and width of what goes on. And you know,
believe me, I'm talking in favor of natural gas. We
just had a house blown literally to smithereens. I've never

(51:51):
seen a house actually blown to smithereens before. I now
know what smithereens looks like because it had filled with
gas and went boom tragically with two people. They're trying
to track down the smell of the gas. And you
sure does that happen with the wind turbine? Yeah? If

(52:13):
one falls on you and they do fall. Have you
ever seen the video of the bearings in these things
when they go? It's a spectacular show. I mean it
looks like something out of a Tom Cruise Mission Impossible movie.
The world's second oldest profession rent seeking. There's a business

(52:36):
in my community that could profit from it. I'm sure
I'm going to hear something from somebody. Listen now, you
know my business makes a lot of money from those subsidies,
and we'll weigh in tomorrow on it. Until then, I'm
Joe Thomas, Talk Media Network. So long and thanks for
all the fish.
