Speaker 1 (00:02):
We'll do it making mornings great again. Well, the first
thing today on the tunk media Apple, Joe Thomas, we'll
do it.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Lot your words that steal me step a day, get
the message, please for work.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
When the sun comes up, drops a pet of the Scooday.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Joe has a gender.

Speaker 5 (00:22):
All the treasures, the one that Joe sais smiled, he only.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
As Joe plus you for a basking in the amplitude
or frequency modulation goodness, that's me. Four three four eight
eight two four two one seven is the important phone
number you need to remember because I'll tell you what
went on. Oh, I'll tell you Norton what went on,

(00:51):
and UH will also tell you how I see it
playing out. But I also want to know how it's
impacting you where you are. That's not the same pandering,
pablem that you get in the news media. We asked
Joe Q public, what do you think so of hell
and so? Tell us what you think the president should
do over the shutdown. And by the way, we know

(01:16):
what the talking points memos sent out to the Democrats
in the US House and Senate said, can coordinate that
for you. Just in case you were wondering what the
narrative is here in our flagship state of Virginia, they
broke the law to make their own laws.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
And there has to be a response to that. What
I've said is that we have to protect our democracy
now if we ultimately want to be able to save it.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
That's Eric Holder channeling Julius Caesar, because the Gauls, or
as they refer to them, the Republicans, are an existential
threat to their democracy, and so they must redistricts. Republicans
will never get a chance to have any legislative voice ever. Again,

(02:06):
funny they did this in the twenties to the black
population and nobody batted an eye. But then again, there
wasn't talk radio at the time, so you know, if
we were around, we would have known. But at that point,
I think broadcast radio was basically, you know, the retellings

(02:26):
of War of the Worlds and some old timey music
for you. So we didn't quite have the journalistic Oh yeah, sure,
we had people like Edward R. Murrow, But as I've
chronicled here, Edward R. Murrow at least by the end,
had completely lost grip of what journalism meant, and he
had become addicted like so many people in my industry

(02:49):
do to being a celebrity and having power. So we
got all of that laid out for you live this
Saturday morning. Put me the test. Don't just believe me
because I said it. I'm a radio guy. Come on,
a guy just went to prison for selling luxury tickets
to sporting events. People never got them. What a shock

(03:11):
it was a radio guy. Anyway, here are our first
things for this Saturday. The Virginia Senate has approved a
constitutional amendment amongst all the states trying to redraw their
electoral maps. It was a partisan vote twenty one sixteen.
Now it moves to the full session of the General

(03:32):
Assembly in February. If it passes there, the voters will
have a say on it. However, three county clerks from
hen Reiko, Spotsylvania, and Lunenburg Counties are seeking to avoid
the bill in court on the grounds that the General
Assembly session was not legally called as a hearing scheduled
for Monday. Daylight savings time ends at two Sunday, and

(03:56):
you need to switch your clocks back or rely on
your smart devices to do it automatically for you. Fire
departments say one thing that your smart devices want to
do automatically is switch their batteries, and they ask you
to check your smoke, fire and carbon monoxide detectors. Congresswoman
Marjorie Taylor Green melting down on the colleagues of hers

(04:19):
and the Congress, saying that Americans are quote being used
like a pinata an appearance Friday on Real Time with
Bill Maher. I wish that Mike Johnson would call us
back into sessions, he said, speaking of the Speaker of House,
so we could actually do our jobs. Federal judge ruled
the Trump administration cannot enforce an executive order requiring documented

(04:42):
proof of US citizenship on federal voter registration forms. It's
a decision the administration defense is lawful. However, Judge Colleen
Koehler coach Helly in Washington said in her ruling the
president lacks the authority to direct such changes. The White
House announced on Friday that journalists will no longer be

(05:04):
able to wander freely in the area of the West
Wing that's home to offices of senior communications officials. One
imagines Danny kin Cannon of the TV fiction The West
Wing wandering back there looking for C. J. Craig no
more not allowed back there, citing national security and sensitive

(05:26):
documents in those rooms. Homeland Security Investigation agents in Fort Myers, Florida,
have arrested Joseph g Ancola, who allegedly posted multiple death
threats online to ICE officers. President Trump called on the
court to tell him how to legally fund SNAP, which
ran out of money this morning. Our government lawyers do

(05:49):
not think we have the legal authority to pay SNAP
with moneies we have available. However, several states, including Virginia
and West Virginia, are refilling the SNAP benefit yards with
state surplus revenues. Two federal judges Friday were ordering the
Trump administration to fund the SNAP program. Brooke Rollins, ag secretary,

(06:12):
called the program bloated and corrupt. The Energy Department announced
one hundred million dollars funding to refurbish and modernize coal
fired energy plants still existing in the country, and Marco
Rubio slammed the Miami Herald for a fake story about
strikes in Venezuela.

Speaker 6 (06:32):
This winter experienced the ultimate rock Christmas tradition, Trans Siberian
Orchestra live in concert, presetting the Ghosts of Christmas Eve,
the best of TSO.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
And more and awe inspiring blend of rock, classical, and
holiday music for the entire family. Tell miss this season's most.

Speaker 6 (06:52):

Speaker 9 (07:01):
Let's see if something costs less a lot less, but
people are actually happier with it.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
That sounds like something to look into. And that's meta Share.

Speaker 9 (07:10):
Maybe you've heard joining meta share can save you or
your family up to five hundred bucks a month, and.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
That's huge, but it's also true. People are just happier
with it.

Speaker 9 (07:18):
They love being part of something that reflects and promotes
their values and what they believe in.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Meta Share works too.

Speaker 9 (07:24):
It's been around for thirty years now and members have
shared more than seven billion dollars of each other's bills.
People love having telehealth and a huge nationwide PPO network.
So yeah, really, you can save a ton and like
it better. Imagine being happy with how you're taking care
of your health care, whether you're self employed or part
of the gig economy, or you just want to plan

(07:44):
that you're happy with.

Speaker 7 (07:46):

Speaker 9 (07:46):

Forty Considered by most, optimized curcumin is one of the
few bioavailable and highly absorbable curcumin products on the market. Hi,
I'm doctor Mitch. Since most chronic diseases have inflammation, our
optimized curcumin seems to be a perfect addition to any

(08:22):
nutritional program. It makes sense to me that preventing or
reducing inflammation is a key component to our overall health.
The Mayo Clinic found that kurcumin can decrease swelling and inflammation,
has antioxidant properties, and research suggests that kurcumin can prevent
cancer or at least slow the spread of cancer, and

(08:46):
in many instances, make chemotherapy more effective. It protects our
healthy cells even from radiation. Totalwellness dot com where we

I'm Andrew Saul, Commission of SOLI Security. I'm here to
warn you about telephone scammers pretending to be government employees.
Some of these scammers may say threatening things like you
will be arrested if you don't make payments or provide
personal information. Do not fall for these tricks. These calls
are not from US. Real solid security employees will never

(09:25):
threaten you for information or money. If you receive a

Speaker 12 (09:58):
Hi, everybody, I'm Jack Hannah. It's always a boy growing
up on a farm in Tennessee, I've been fascinated with animals.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
I'm not only in awe of.

Speaker 12 (10:05):
Their beauty and kindness, but also their tireless work ethic.
Just look at the birds who gather supplies to build nests,
or Swiss foxes who work hard to provide for their young,
or penguins who travel up to five hundred miles to
secure food for their families, or bush babies whose impressive
jump allows them to navigate the trees and the wild
in search of fruit. This remarkable work ethic is shared

(10:25):
by our best friends, the canines. We know dogs are
wonderful pets at home, but because of their acute senses,
they also perform life saving work every day.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Dogs keep us.

Speaker 12 (10:35):
Safe at airports. They comfort returning veterans, some of whom
suffer from PTS. They work with diabetics, alerting them when
there's a change.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
In their blood chemistry.

Speaker 12 (10:43):
Working dogs have a variety of highly trained roles that
contribute to society and help those in need. So please
join me an American Humane and supporting our heroic working
dogs and all the amazing animals on this planet we
inhabit together. Go to American Humane dot org to learn more.

Speaker 13 (11:00):
Bruh, that's buzzed. Oh yeah, yeah, he's starting with the
woots and now a speech.

Speaker 14 (11:06):
I just want to say that friendship is about heart,
art and brain.

Speaker 7 (11:12):
Who's with me?

Speaker 13 (11:13):
Good thing is he knows when he's buzzed, and my
brain is saying when it's time to go home.

Speaker 15 (11:18):
Somebody call me a ride.

Speaker 7 (11:19):
Love that guy, Me too, know your buzzed warning signs,
call for a ride when it's time to go home.
Buzz driving is drunk driving.

Speaker 16 (11:28):
Did you know that more than half our household energy
costs go to heating and cooling. Energy efficiency isn't just
good for the environment, it means lower utility bills too.
One way to reduce your energy waste is a home
energy assessment. Your utility company can help, or you can
learn how to do it yourself at energysavers dot gov.

(11:49):
That's energysavers dot gov. You'll learn to look for air
leaks around windows and doors, check ducks for holes, and
improve your insulation. Another time to cut energy costs when
you shop for a new appliance, look for the energy
Star logo and read the energy guide label. And there
are day to day things you can do. Lower your
thermostat in winter and raise it in the summer, close

fireplay stampers when they're not in use, and keep air
filters clean. For more tips on saving money by reducing
your energy waste, check out FTC dot gov slash green

Speaker 3 (12:29):
As a family member or friend, you may be the
first to notice when a veteran you love has been
going through changes. Things like withdrawing, drinking more, or increased
anger could be a sign of a larger health concern,
but help is available. Listen to hundreds of inspiring stories

Treatment works, recovery is possible.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
I think you all know.

Speaker 11 (13:12):
That I've always felt the nine most terrifying words in
the English language are first.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Thing today by Joe Thomas on the Tunk Media Network. Hey,
I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Thank you for at least including that. You know you
make it sound like and by the way, that's not
even nine words, smart guy. Thank you for joining us
live on this Saturday morning reminder. Coming up this week
more drawings. We are giving away tickets to see the
Trans Siberian Orchestra and all the places you can hear

(13:48):
this program. This is a new territory for us. We
have welcomed Trans Siberian Orchestra to our flagship city many many,
many times. I've been the honor of hosting them and
doing all the work behind the scenes to make sure
a local charity gets the benefit of the dollar from
each ticket sold. And we've done some of the giveaways

(14:09):
so far Colorado Springs, Youngstown, Ohio, Portland, Sacramento, Jacksonville. But
we have tickets to Manchester, New Hampshire for you guys
listening on WCAP in Lowell at the SNHU Arena. I'm
sure that's an acronym for something a lot of the
high school kids make up something different for. But also Elmont,

(14:33):
New York, or as we used to call it in
Queen's Queens and next to Belmont Raceway at the IBS Arena,
excuse me, the UBS Arena. And that's for our listeners
there at one o three point nine FM, the Long
Island news radio folks. Yeah, JT's back on one oh

(14:53):
three point nine FM and he's given away tickets. It's
the only time in my life my life was ever
threatened by a listener because he thought I screwed him
out of Aerosmith tickets at Jones Beach. So we're going
to try to do this a little bit safer. But
we need you to go online to Joe Thomas in
the Morning dot com and enter and you'll see the menu.

(15:14):
Have we updated it. We got to take off of
the shows by the way, that we've already given away
tickets for. I got an entry yesterday for Colorado Springs.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Awkward, So go there.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
Click the Trans Siberian Orchestra link. Choose wherever you're listening WTN,
our flagship station, send you up to.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
DC for that show.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
We have all over the area of Chicago, San Antonio, Yeah, yeah,
they have us and all the New Orleans, Tampa, all
the places you can hear first thing today and coincidentally
through Christmas season. Go to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra
in concert for free. If you don't get them for
free from me, Like I said, a dollar from every

(15:58):
ticket sold goes to a local charity, So make sure
you get them from trans Siberian dot org. So many
folks in their entries have said, we've never seen the show,
but you're talking it up like crazy. Well that's what
I do. They pay me by the word. So we
played the clip of Ronald Reagan talking about I'm from

(16:20):
the government and I'm here to help. Do We have
the clip of the lady who told Fox News that
she's just held bent that the American citizens need to
start bucking up to pay their snap benefits. And by
the way, in the government shutdown, we have unearthed what
this Friday's talking point memo said to the Democrats in

(16:44):
the House.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
I think everyone needs to get together and work.

Speaker 17 (16:48):
This can just want lawmakers to settle the crisis.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Oh, I'm sorry to jump.

Speaker 8 (16:53):
I think everyone needs to get together and work this out.

Speaker 6 (16:57):
I don't think.

Speaker 5 (16:58):
Anyone should not be in Washington, d C.

Speaker 8 (17:01):
Right now talking about it.

Speaker 18 (17:04):
I think there should be meetings morning, noon, and night.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Yeah, because nothing protects your freedom more than a bunch
of politicians talking about different laws that they could make. Now,
I told you we outed what the talking point memos were.
Do we have the eclipse of Focahontas. I know you
guys and Lowell, you love to hear from Focahontas, don't you.
And by the way, I'm still the only one that

(17:29):
uses the correct pronunciation of her nickname. But Focahontas was
caught strolling down the halls of the Senate Office Building,
the fog Horn Cleghorn Memorial Office Building.

Speaker 19 (17:42):
I'm interested in China.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
No, that's a that's an AD.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
We don't need any more ads.

Speaker 7 (17:47):
Shut down should go on when military's not being paid
snap benefits over Obamacare specifically, is it worth continuing this?

Speaker 18 (17:55):
You have to ask a Republican because the Republicans have
agreed to exactly your educations. Donald Trump is out flying
around the world. The Republicans here and center won't do
a damn thing without Donald Trump telling him too.

Speaker 8 (18:08):
And the one person that needs to be at the
table is not is Donald Trump, because Speaker Johnson and
Leader Soon will not do one thing unless he says
and tells them what to do.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
So it's a Congresswoman Mastow second up there, so you hear.
What the talking point is is that nobody in the
House or Senate will do anything unless Donald Trump tells
them to.

Speaker 18 (18:31):
Donald Trump is out flying around the world. The Republicans
here and center won't do a damn thing without Donald
Trump telling him too.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
And by the way, Donald Trump was flying around the
world making trade deals with foreign nations. I thought the
whole point of electing Joe Biden was to get somebody
on the scene that had estimable credentials in the international capitals. Oh,
I'm sorry, I was spelling capital correctly. Incorrectly. Oh so

(19:00):
it should have been caap it a l oh, the
international capital. That's what Joe Biden was good at. I'd
see see, you know, sometimes it's for the want of
a vowel.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
A kingdom was lost.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
So it was international capital that Joe Biden was an
expert at not International Capitols with an O so subtle,
but so you hear the talking points between Congressmen Mastow
and Focahontas, apparently not realizing they're all saying the same thing.

Speaker 18 (19:37):
Trump is out flying around the world. The Republicans here
in center won't do a damn thing without Donald Trump
telling him too.

Speaker 8 (19:44):
And the one person that needs to be at the
table is not is Donald Trump, because Speaker Johnson and
Leader Thun will not do one thing unless he says
and tells them what to do.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
And and so there's several things going on here. So
this is all scene setting for the midterms. This is
so that they can salt the earth so no electoral
mandate grows. Are you buying it? Are you buying the
rotten fruit they're selling? Because it doesn't work if we
don't buy it. Unfortunately, as my dear friend and former

(20:20):
Congressman Tom Garrett tells me frequently, why do they do it?
JT says from behind the most enormous mustache I've ever
seen in my life?

Speaker 4 (20:36):
Why do they do it? JT?

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Because it works? And so we go to Marjorie Taylor
Green certainly one of the president's most ardent supporters. She
has been gaslit so much that now she is sounding
like Congresswoman Mastow and Senator Focahunta, saying that Mike Johnson

(21:02):
needs to get us back to Washington so we can
do our work, because they won't do anything if the
President doesn't tell them to and I'm calling on the
President to call them back. She was talking to Bill
Maher And you know, just you start singing from the
chorus after a while.

Speaker 20 (21:20):
That's the thought that came upon me when we both
reached for the gun.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
Underston, they both reached for the gun, and so you know,
you start singing from the choir book.

Speaker 19 (21:37):
Yes, yes, yes, yes.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Yes, oh yes, oh yes. They both won't do anything
if Donald Trump doesn't tell them what to do. Yes,
you think, Baracco, I'm invented the.

Speaker 21 (22:01):
Hey guys, I'm Teddy Savage. National League training for Planet
Fitness and the American Heart Association recommends that we all
get at least one hundred and fifty minutes of moderate
aerobic activity in a week's time. But here's the thing
that one hundred and fifty minutes does not need to
be super intense. As a matter of fact, it could
just be you moving your body and doing what you
already love to do, like exercise. And a stronger heart

(22:23):
doesn't just mean cardio, right, it means also infusing your
workout routines with strength training as well. So we are
super excited to be launching our new plateloaded Strength series
and all of our gems. It's already fitted in seventeen
hundred locations, with the goal to have all twenty seven
hundred fitted by the end of twenty twenty five. So
if you need more information, go to our website at

Fitness app. And with convenient locations all around the world
and most of our gyms being open twenty four hours,
it's bound to be one close by you.

many of these vessels, these companies, these people are building

transporting crews. It's a huge opportunity and we're proud to

Speaker 1 (28:45):
JT?

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Because it works, I say, I say, look at me
when I'm talking to you. Boy, why do they do it?
Because it works and you just do it long enough
read better call Saul Lensky. Got to have something that's
something that you can do for a long period of

(29:08):
time to start breaking people away. Marjorie Taylor Green falling
prey to it. And if she's falling prey to it,
a lot of other Republicans will be falling prey to it.
John Thune has said, not secret meetings. We knew that
they were having meetings, but private meetings with Republicans in

(29:31):
the Senate. They need to come up with a fix
for Obamacare rather than letting it collapse under its own weight.
And it was exactly what was warned about. We watched
it during the first Trump administration when Paul Ryan wouldn't
even so much as bring a repeal and replace bill

(29:53):
to the floor of the House. A House that had
passed was at eleven or thirteen eleven I think eleven
different versions of some manner of form of repeal and
replace for the Affordable Care Act passed them was thirteen okay,
thirteen times during the Obama administration, to only have him

(30:15):
obviously veto each one of.

Speaker 19 (30:17):
Them, and when confronted with a president who said, bring
me a bill I'll sign, and I got a pen
right here, don't even need a phone, all of a sudden.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Uh yeah, yeah. We don't know where we put all those.
And and then the aforementioned Tom Garrett found one. They
found the most recent one. He said, hold it, we
just passed this a few months ago. Let's bring this
one to a vote. Speaker said, no, I have the
authority to decide what gets voted on arbitrarily, and we're

(30:58):
not going to vote on this one. So Tom Garrett
did what a congressman is allowed to do, which is
file a discharge petition to try to bring the vote
to the floor, regardless of what the speaker, Paul Ryan said.
And even then the President dressed him down in the
Oval Office for fighting with Republican leadership. But this was

(31:23):
what the president wanted. It was bring me a repeal
and replace. But we warned you in two thousand and nine,
if you were there listening, this is what happens when
you give the goodies. Politicians never want to be the
one taking away the goodies. It's what makes Donald Trump
such an existential threat to people in Washington, Republican and

(31:45):
Democrat alike. So this is Marjorie Taylor Green screaming about
weak Republican men on the floor of.

Speaker 13 (31:52):
The House, veterans more than President Trump, and he's made
that apparent.

Speaker 23 (31:57):
That's why he's working for peace.

Speaker 17 (32:00):
Your time.

Speaker 23 (32:01):
I'm the chair of this committee.

Speaker 8 (32:02):
That's not how I'm the charity procedure.

Speaker 9 (32:04):
We're not recognizing Stanbury here.

Speaker 25 (32:07):
You're not recognized either.

Speaker 20 (32:08):
You can't just speak anytime you want. I'm a chair
how many.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
That's not how Stansbury.

Speaker 20 (32:13):
You're not recognized, chairwoman.

Speaker 23 (32:14):
That is not how park You Stansbury are not recognized
all day.

Speaker 25 (32:18):
But that's not how Stansbury.

Speaker 23 (32:19):
You're not recognized.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
We're gonna get you a Robert. Then she goes on
Real Time with Bill Maher and it tells him that
there are pathetic Republican men, mostly paid social media influencers,
attacking me for going on the show. Here's my voting card,

(32:41):
and nothing has changed about me. I'm one million percent
America only. I'm sorry. I don't obey Republican men's demands
that I, as a woman, don't remain seen and not heard.
And the left immediately swarms.

Speaker 4 (32:59):
To this stuff.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Because this is the pressure of the shutdown. Well, you
didn't know they were having a committee? Yeah, what about
the phrase partial government shutdown, don't you get Yeah, they're
still having committee hearings. Yeah, they're still adom. But the

(33:27):
problem with things like the Affordable Care Act is the
demagoguery of it, the lies that are told about it,
that populate and recirculate and keep going until you think
you're getting healthcare when really you're getting very expensive insurance
with very high out of pocket costs. Because you're mandated

(33:52):
to give it doesn't mean the insurance company's going to
really protect you. They wouldn't have protected you had they
not been mandated to do it, or if they were,
they were going to charge you a lot of money anyway.
So then the government comes along and says, whoah, we
better do something about this, So let's subsidize it. So
now the costs go up even more. And then when

(34:15):
the subsidies go away, they say, you've got to do
something about this because we've promised all these folks that
we'd give them socialized medicine. And we warned you in
twenty ten that the crash was coming. We didn't have
the exact date on it. We didn't know it was
going to manage to make it fifteen years. But fifteen

(34:40):
years later, the crash that we warned about with Sally
Pipes and all the experts that we had on the
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act are coming true, and
they're going after the Republicans in districts that they fifty
one fifty five percent, they by this threatening them with

(35:03):
mass voter turnout. Which is why I want to circle
to the next most ridiculous thing I've seen, and it
is again one of the law fair judge shopping moments.
Federal judge has ruled that Trump administration cannot enforce the

(35:23):
executive order requiring documented proof of US citizenship on federal
voter registration forms. A judge in the United States I checked,
Colleen Kuhller Kotelli, US District judge found the requirement unconstitutional,
writing the President and here's why it's unconstitutional. Not that

(35:46):
asking who you are or where you live and are
you a citizen is unconstitutional, But the president doesn't have
the authority to direct that to happen. They say that.
She said in her ruling. The question is whether the president,
acting unilaterally, may direct changes to federal election procedures, and

(36:12):
she goes to the states' rights. I wonder how many
other times she's ruled for states rights, but she says
that the US Constitution guarantees that to the states. But
they don't bat an eye when all the states just

(36:32):
start redrawing districts. Virginia may flip four congressional seats blue
based on one of the most ridiculously gerry mannered maps
I've ever seen, unless an effort made by some clerks
of several counties is successful on Monday of stopping it

(36:54):
from happening. And you'll see, you'll see, really what's at
the middle of all this, because in Virginia, if they
managed to delay it just past Tuesday, which is election day,
then they can't count that as an intervening election. It's
part of Virginia's constitutional amendment process that you have to

(37:15):
wait for all the seats in at least one of
the chambers of the House to go through an election.
If they manage to and they're supposed to be in
a hearing on Monday, delay it past Tuesday. Did the
Democrats still care about this redistricting or was it just

(37:36):
to win some seats in twenty twenty six, because that's
what all the attacks about Obamacare are about. All of
this is about twenty twenty six, twelve months from right now,
winning over the House and Senate so they can start
impeachment proceedings and undo everything President Trump is done.

Exercise is hard, so is maintaining a healthy diet. Of course,
neither is half as hard as dying. Sadly, type two diabetes,
heart disease, and stroke kill nearly a million people a year.
Even sadder, most of these deaths are preventable with a
few lifestyle changes, including regular activity, healthier eating, and not smoking.

(41:22):
Talk to your doctor about your risk for type two
diabetes and heart disease, and if your doctor recommends lifestyle
changes or medication, listen. The reason so many die is

Like Marxism. That's the scary zombies. Hope you had a
safe Halloween. You're on All Saints Day this Saturday morning,
so we crest into November live. Yeah, no, this call
is four three four eight eight two four two one seven.

(44:44):
Test the system out. It's always not here. Nobody's live
on a Saturday morning. Yes we are, because so much
stuff happens that they're trying to sneak through the alley
with Sally without you noticing. And let's face it, your
work week includes Saturday as much as mine does anyway,

(45:06):
So why wouldn't we want to launch it off in
the same way that we do other days. So as
the shutdown enters its second month and redistricting mania goes
on across the country, I was looking at what they've
proposed California, that you'd have one Republican left in the

(45:29):
congressional delegation California. Illinois wants to redraw their districts and
they only have three Republicans as it is. And you know,
back in the twenties, and we pointed this out in
the twenties, the Dixiecrats who everyone was afraid of. We

(45:50):
were talking about filibuster yesterday, and the history of the
filibuster begins with Northern Republicans being afraid to call the
Dixiecrats out when they would fillibuster and call for cloture
because they didn't want to be seen as still fighting

(46:12):
the Civil War. The Dixiecrats have been doing this faster
than you can say Robert Byrd or White Sheets. They
realized they could take the loss in the Civil War
and turn it into victimhood, a program that I still

(46:35):
think is the cornerstone of everything the American left stands for.
And these these weren't the Dixiecrats that seceded from the nation.
These were the ones that realized, hold it. The federal
government's rebuilding all our stuff for us. Hey, there might
be something to this union after all. And that was

(46:58):
the root of all of this. Woodrow Wilson at Princeton
sitting there. You know, he's got Virginia roots, his presidential
libraries here in our flagship city of Stanton. And you know,
he and these other technocrats used the Dixiecrats to get

(47:20):
federal authority. But where we have tracked now is just
what they were doing in nineteen twenties, trying to limit
the black population from getting electoral and representative heft and value.

(47:42):
Do we have the clip of doctor Kevin Roberts from Heritage,
you know, perhaps the most esteemed person so far who
has heard my treaties about being under represented. I'm tempted.
You know, we have currently a Convention of States call

(48:03):
on the doc We've managed to pass in nineteen states
this call, but I'm really at that point where I'm
ready to put together another call for a different Convention
of States. This one would specifically bring either bring back
the original First Amendment, which capped the size of a

(48:26):
US congressional district at fifty thousand citizens, or just eliminate
the nineteen twenty nine Permanent Reapportionment Act, which is what
set us in motion into this all craziness in all
these places. Governor Kathy Hokeel wants to blow up the

(48:47):
New York Constitution. Virginia's Democrats may have violated the very
constitution they're trying to blow up in Virginia. We'll see
there's a court case coming Monday in which clerks of
the court are suing saying that the very session that

(49:07):
they did their redistricting in, but I looked at the district,
and they're going to take what is right now a
five to six congressional delegation. It was one at one point,
it was seven to four, and then it was six' Five,
republican and then you, Know Dave bratt lost.

Speaker 4 (49:28):
And us what's her?

Speaker 2 (49:31):
Name she's on all The democrat channels Now Northern Virginia,
republican which you know should tell you a lot. Anyway,
comstock thank, You Barbara, comstock blue blue her. Seat so
it's now Six democrats to Five. Republicans we will eliminate
four of Those. Republicans these are so gerrymanderd of a,

(49:55):
district but you're allowed to do that under This Permanent Reapportionment.
Act what they're doing in these states is they're finding
population centers full of people on the federal dole or
the state, dole using them as the, centerpiece and then

(50:19):
Like Bob ross pulling some A Lizarine crimson out from the. Corner,
oh we're going to.

Speaker 4 (50:26):
Make a happy little government program. Here let's use The
Lizarin crimson and just dab it with your eight inch
brush and then. Pull oh come, on you've Watched Bob.
Ross you may not have wanted, to but Once bob's
voice gets in your, ear it's it's your. World you
can socialize it any way you. Want but they pull these.

Speaker 2 (50:50):
Districts so they start In virginia's, case they start In Northern,
virginia and they've pulled four separate districts out Of Northern.
Virginia so they root the district in Northern, virginia all
The democrat voters up, there and then they pull them
down towards the center until they get to the very
edge where it's, like, okay if we go too much,
further it might be a fifty to fifty. District and they.

(51:12):
Stop and then they take the blue area Around, richmond
the state, capitol and do the same, thing and they
pull the blue out from there until they get did
yet it's the point before it becomes you, know like,
fifty not fifty to, fifty but maybe even fifty two forty.
Eight democrat don't want to get too close to a

(51:33):
fifty to fifty. Split and then they go down To
norfolk and they do the same, thing and they pull
it all the way. Out it looks like this redistricting
map looks like it was painted By Bob ross. Was, well,
YEAH i guess a Lizard crimson would have been used
For republican.

Speaker 4 (51:52):
Districts so what was his?

Speaker 2 (51:54):
Color? Blue you, know cadmium, blue but he had a
special blue that he. Used so the only district left
is in old coal country and they're working on that
with fentanyl and drug addiction and government programs to reclaim
all the coal mines and they're working on that with

(52:14):
government subsidies in the old coal country Of. Virginia and you,
know we were talking to one of those social media
influencers That Marjorie Taylor green talked, About Nick, fredis and
he told, us, well the, Thing.

Speaker 17 (52:31):
Yeah they definitely have maps where they could make. It
they can Make virginia a ten to one, state Ten
democrat congress people and One republican and that would just
be you, know Southwest, virginia which is not an accurate
reflection at all of the. Commonwealth but that's what they could.
Do that's how they could gerrymander. It and right now they're, saying, well,
no it's just for this congressional stuff and it's just for.
